Speaker 1 (00:00):
So much is happening right now on this radio show.
It's so exciting, you guys. It's so exciting. I can't
contain it.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Okay, so we're about eight minutes away from Disney tickets. Okay,
so you got to keep listening. And I'll give you
all the details on how to win in just a
little bit. Also, War of the Roses was crazy War
of the Roses. If you missed it, you go to
our Instagram, JohnJayandRich. Type in Roses and we'll send you
it right to your phone so you can hear it.
(00:28):
But also, Harry Styles announced Harry Styles announced he's coming
here in April. And our very own Noah Lashley was
at the concert in Madison Square Garden last night.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
And I saw some of the coolest videos. Noah Lashley
reporting live. Are you there, Noah?
Speaker 3 (00:44):
I am reporting live from Madison Square Garden.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
He hasn't slept at all. Listen to how deep his
voice is. What time did you go to bed last night?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Oh, my God. It was like 2 a.m.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
In New York.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
And I woke up like three minutes ago. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
So tell, how was the concert? How great was it?
Speaker 3 (01:02):
The energy is insane. You'd think for a concert that's
going on 30 nights by like night four, the energy
would die down. But here we were at night seven
and it was like being at night one.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
He's doing 30 nights in a row?
Speaker 3 (01:15):
30 nights at Madison Square Garden. Well, I think it's Monday, Wednesday,
Saturday or something like that that he's doing shows. And
then the rest of the week, it's like he's not
even here. They don't even acknowledge it.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
It looks like you had great seats because that video,
if you guys see this video, freaking Harry Styles points
at Noah.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
It's so crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I was at the barrier in the pit.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, I knew it. That's amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
So how long do you have to camp outside the
venue to get those right at the barrier? It was
actually really cool because they had... They had floor GA tickets,
but then they had the pit tickets, and there was
only less than 100 for each of the pits. There
were two pits. So we just walked right in. We
didn't even come for the opener. We just walked right
(01:58):
in when we were ready, drinks in hand, and it
was like they're waiting for us.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
So it's kind of like VIP pits, it sounds like. Yeah,
it's like you already got your seat, you got your stuff.
That's dope. How much did that cost you? Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Well, it took us six months to pay off the tickets.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
I heard he brought in like an orchestra and all
kinds of cool stuff too.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Oh yeah. They had like special dancers, special trumpet players.
They had a guy playing the triangle and, And the
best part was because we were so close, we actually
got to hear like the individual instruments. Like I think
it was just for show, but I heard the triangle
and I heard them banging two wooden blocks together. Like
it really sounded like I was in part of a choir.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
What was the last song you played?
Speaker 3 (02:47):
He played, uh, aperture as his final song.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Oh, that's good.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah. He did sign of the times, everybody's favorite. And
then there was like the seven minute DJ interlude and
he was mixing it himself and And then it slowly
went into aperture and the whole place went nuts. And
it was like being in a club.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Did he do any One Direction?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
No.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Come on. That would have been good. I mean, he's
got enough. He's got enough. No, but still. Three albums
were just set. She don't know she's beautiful. Did he
do Kiwi? I want to know if he did Kiwi.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
He did Kiwi.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
That's my jam right there.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Kiwi is from his debut album. And it doesn't sound
like any of his other songs. It's always been a
fan favorite. And as we were paying off the tickets,
we're like, what's the point of even doing all this
if we're not going to hear Kiwi? He never plays Kiwi.
And then he added it to New York and New
York only. And we were so lucky.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Right on. I think we should play One Direction right
now anyway.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
It is a banger.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Do we play a Harry Styles song or a One
Direction song? Let's take a quick vote right here. What
do you think, Rich?
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Ah, Harry Styles. One Direction.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Kyle. 1D.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
1D. Yes, you outvoted Rich. Come on. That's cool. And
because 1D is also Harry Styles. Exactly. That's what started it.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
It is.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
That's what started it, man. It's nostalgia. Everyone loves nostalgia.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
So make sure you're listening, you paid attention to Noah's interview.
Because if we have tickets, we might quiz you on
what we said to Noah.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Ooh.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, right. Yeah, right. Let me ask you, Noah, what
were you wearing last night?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
So I was wearing a New York Harry Styles jersey, black,
that I bought from the pop-up shop. And then a
tie that my friend Shelby stuck little emblems all over.
It was a red tie and there was a disco
ball and some stars and some kisses. And then I
had a kiss lip tattoo, fake tattoo on my forehead. Awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
No wonder he pointed at you. Noah, you're the best.
Enjoy your days off. We'll see you on Monday.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
See you then.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
See you, Noah. That was awesome.
