three seven one o four seven. You can call us
right now jump on the air. That you can also
text us. Text jj R and your message to nine
six eight niney three. This is December already, freaking nuts,
believable freaking nuts.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
That was a fast one.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I'm currently debating buying something on Cyber Monday because my
wife was telling me that is we're gonna get a
good deal on this. But now, since the advent of
my EMF necklace that I still wear, uh huh, right,
that I wanted to get a sleep eight yeah, and
right now you can get like seven hundred dollars.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
It's amazing. You've been waiting for this.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
You wanted this for years, but it projects EMF. I
don't know if you're blocked, but I want to sleep
with this all the time. Kyle, come on, duh, Well.
Speaker 5 (01:13):
Don't they have some weird EMF blanket?
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, I don't know. But the thing is, I'm really
looking at it, but I have to get a new match.
I don't need we need to. My wife doesn't want
to get the Sleep eight mattress cover because the cover
unless we get a new bed. So we're kind of
shopping for a new mattress but right now. And I'm
sure there's mattress specials everywhere. I just have to look,
but I'm concerned for the EMF thing. It's just kind
of like I don't like having my cell phone around
me anymore because of the EMF stuff, you know. So anyway,
(01:39):
that's just going on. What about any other Black Friday
specials or Cyber Monday.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
It was my goal to be done today, so I
still have a few people to go, so I'm hoping
I can figure something out.
Speaker 6 (01:48):
Fingers crossed, you get that done. I feel like I
have had a rough Cyber Monday. I feel like I
got bamboozled by Sephora. I seriously do. I went in,
I bought three new products that I needed and it
came out to be right around eighty five dollars, which
is expensive for these three little products. But that's usually
how it's expensive, That's what it is. And so I'm
sitting there, I'm all excited to try my new rare
(02:09):
beauty products in this new eyebrow gel.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
And rare rear Rare Rayer beauty.
Speaker 6 (02:15):
Beauty Selena Gome is his brand. I go and I
check out, I tap my card, I pay, and the lady,
the sepphor It under goes thanks for shopping with us.
Make sure you check out these and all the other
things on sale tomorrow for Cyber Monday tomorrow. You didn't
want to throw me a bone and let me know
(02:35):
it's give me a.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
Sail early wait on my purchase. That's such a bummer.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
And then to top it off, what made it even
more frustrating. So I went to the Sapphort inside the
Coals because I had some Amazon return and come to
find know, if you shop at the saphor at Coals,
they can't match up your beauty insider. So I didn't
even get points for my purchase.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
Oh really, you know what I would do, Actually, this
is what I would do. I would go return the
products and then you buy them on sale on Cyber Monday.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
IM glad that you and I have the same brand,
because that's exactly what I'm doing.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
As soon as I leave, you go return it and
then just take advantage of the deal, or you can
just say refund me the difference.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
What about when you were there, Why didn't you say
you can just return it right now?
Speaker 6 (03:14):
Awkward?
Speaker 4 (03:15):
I know, Yeah, order it online and then have them
ship it to you.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
Yeah, maybe I got over eighty five bucks. You're free shipping.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
I think this is what I'll do, because sefore you
have a thirty day like return policy thing even if
you try the products. So I think what I'm gonna
do is just purchase it again and then once those
get in, I'll just return the other one.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
I just wear it all right now and then return
it put it all on.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
That's like that backwards cost go mentality that people have.
That's I just thought I got bamboozled a little bit.
My feelings are, but.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
It's all good. Would buy you. I was just thinking
about when you were telling that car story about your
tires and you've always got problems in the cars? Are
there special Tesla cyber Monday deals?
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Uh, not that I know of. Maybe maybe I don't
need it right now, but yeah, I had one tire
with the like the air pressure was drastically lower than
the others. I know everyone's air pressure goes down when
it gets cooler, but this one there was definitely something
wrong with the tire because every day it was depleting overnight.
And so we brought into the tire shop and Scott
(04:17):
we made a deal when we got married because I personally,
I feel like I've always got screwed over by car
people because I feel like I'm an easy target. I
don't know what I'm doing in the car shop, right,
And so I told him, I said, you have to
bring it in Otherwise if I go in, I'm walking
out with four new tires because it con convinced me
everything's wrong. So luckily that deal and then I take
care of the gifts. That's the trade us. So took
(04:42):
the car in and it wasn't going to be ready
in time for me to go get the kids from school.
So he's like, just take my car, no problem, and
I'm like, okay, cool. So I always get kind of
nervous driving Scott's car because I do feel like whenever
I drive on the freeway, I am a rock magnet
and I'm going to be the one that gets a
rock in his windshield or I accidentally curved it sometimes
and I'm gonna curb. And he's very particular about his vehicle,
(05:04):
like I've shared this with you guys before. But I
go get the kids. I do my normal, my normal routine.
Usually I picked them up and I always like tell
them to have a snack because my kids are always
in a better mood after school with snacks. Snacks are
key as a parent, So.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
I do that.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
We we get home and Scott doesn't really like food
in his car, but I'm like, it's just snacks, right,
no big deal. Snacks are different than like bringing spaghetti, right,
So so I picked them up. A couple hours later,
he texts me he's like, the car's ready, let's go
pick it up. So we hoped back in his car
head to the tire place and instantly he goes, what
(05:42):
did you eat in here? Was there food in here?
And I'm like, how did you know?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
They were just snacks?
Speaker 5 (05:48):
It's like his little smells like you were baking chili
in here in a crop for five days.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
They were just chips.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
They were like they were the blue dorito, a cool ranch. Yeah,
and that's what you could smell. You could smell that.
He definitely could smell it. And I probably should have
rolled down the windows.
Speaker 6 (06:09):
It was.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
There were no clubs.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
He could just smell it.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
And he has cameras in the car. I'm not buying it.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
So I was like, you know what, it's fine. I
have this stuff. If it still smells after leaving the
windows overnight open, if it still smells, then I've discovered
this stuff years ago and it's amazing. It's called odors out,
oh d o r z odors out. And years ago
I had bought a kitchen table on Craigslist and when
(06:39):
I picked it up, I didn't realize it was a
smoker's house. And so the table literally reached and I
was like, I can't even bring this to my house.
This is like it's soaked in the smoke scent. And
I left that thing in my garage. I poured the
odors Out on it and let it like, I don't know,
I guess the little they're like it almost looks like sand.
The sand seeps in the scent, and the table smelled normal. Oh,
(06:59):
I think it incredible?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Is it? Wait? Is it in your house now?
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Not this house? This was when I was in college,
so I don't I don't have that table anymore. But
it didn't smell anymore. It was, so I said, I
got some odors out. If it still stinks in there, tomato, we'll.
Speaker 6 (07:13):
Just put it there.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Be fun.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
Or you just like go to the smoke shop because
they have that same thing. But it's not a powder,
it's a spray.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Oh see that breaks out too. There we go?
Speaker 1 (07:22):
People have box that car. Yeah, So like if you're
a pothead and you smoke a lot of weed, you
spray this on you and what what do you smell?
Speaker 7 (07:29):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (07:29):
You wouldn't spray it on you would be like if
you hot box your car, you would go and you
would spray it in your car and it like takes
out the odors from the oxygen.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
You have not sprayed that in your car because I've
been five feet away from your car.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Business, what about what about your person? Can you do
it for a person? Like so you don't smells in
your clothes and stuff?
Speaker 6 (07:48):
Maybe I'm ever try.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
So what's to call it? Smoke shop?
Speaker 6 (07:50):
I forget It's like called like ozone something like.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
I thought ozone what Kyle was talking about.
Speaker 6 (07:55):
But it's not spread.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
So you did it for a lot of stuff, not
just stoner cuts.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
So going to the smoke shop for Black Friday? Oh yeah,
no one knows. What do you go?
Speaker 5 (08:02):
Knowing what?
Speaker 1 (08:08):
We don't know? I left the in the summer. Oh god,
it's so funny. All right, well done? Alright, I don't know,
maybe not so much. That's funny. You have the steak
(08:30):
in your car, you know. I remember he's got the
pepper shaker.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
Full on meals in there.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Oh man. All right, it's December first, Cyber Monday.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
Coffee in hands, your buds on, John Jay.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
And Rich Time for Payton's predictions. Peyton was the vibe today.
Speaker 6 (08:55):
We're finally in the month of December.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
This is crazy.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
So I'm gonna let you know December is bringing you
based on your zodiac sign and if it's your birthday today,
you are Sabittarius. You share a birthday with Robert Irwin,
Zoe Kravitz, Jenelle Monet, and Richard Pryor.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Okay, call us at eight seven seven, nine, three seven
one four seven to get your sign. Rid Good morning, Darylynn,
good morning. What's your sign?
Speaker 8 (09:19):
Libra?
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Okay, Libra, this is for you too, Kyle. December is
gonna bring in fun, some flirtation, in a little bit
of chaos in your relationships, so you might feel a
little indecisive or pulled in multiple directions. So I'm telling
you right now, choice peace, not perfection, and you guys
will think yourself later. Oh perfect perfect, Yeah, and I'm
gonna say it's a good chaos.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Pass open heart, So I need peace and calmness.
Speaker 6 (09:47):
Yes, sending good vibes to you for sure.
Speaker 9 (09:49):
Thanks Darlin, perfect, thank you?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Bye? Jen, good morning? What's your sign?
Speaker 6 (09:54):
And okay?
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Jen?
Speaker 6 (09:57):
For Aris, December is gonna bring you momentum, but also
a lot of impatience. So you're ready to make some
big moves, but rushing through the process is definitely going
to trip you up, so Aries, make sure that you've
slow down long enough to let the winds actually land.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Oh dang, it's actually good for me right now.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yay.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Thanks Jim.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
How about pis yeah, Rich For my Pisces, December is
bringing romance, some spiritual clarity and one magical moment that
is going to feel like a movie. So be aware though,
of unrealistic expectations, because you got to keep your feet
on the ground while your hope, your heart floats around.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Listen, December so magical because of Christmas. That's what it's
going to bring. Yeah, the magic of Christmas. Maybe I
will find out too, like in every Hallmark movie that's
Santa Claus is my dad.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Okay, how about for.
Speaker 6 (10:51):
Leos, Yeah, I'm a Leo us. Leo's December is going
to bring a lot of attention and opportunity to us.
But it's also going to be a huge wake up
call about someone who isn't clapping for us, but they're
in our circle. So I know, a little shady right there.
We need to shine anyway, So this month of December
is gonna remind us that some spotlight it does only
belong on us.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Only some dang don't.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
I'm like, I wonder who's getting cut off this month?
All my friends better be on their best behaviors, give
me good Christmas.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Gifts, amount of how about.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
Virgos, John Day, Virgo December is gonna bring you productivity,
wins and the satisfaction of getting your life mostly together,
but a curveball mid month, so just a couple of
weeks may force you to improvise, which is, I know,
your least favorite thing to do. Just stay flexible and
you'll end the year stronger than you even started.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Oh that's good. Yeah, I think. So there's something comes
up that I got to deal with, positive or negative?
Speaker 6 (11:44):
Do you know, I don't know if it's gonna be
positive negative. It's gonna be a curve ball and you're
gonna have to improvise with it so you don't have
to figure it out.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
But it works out in the end.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
Yeah, it'll work out.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Why don't you know you're almost as astrologer, am I?
Speaker 6 (11:54):
Now I haven't started my classes yet.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Good answer. All right, if we miss your sander, I'll
post on our John Jaynrich.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Dot com stod all this time west you.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Good morning, John Jay and Rich. Can I help you?
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Hi?
Speaker 10 (12:14):
Yeah, I'm calling it about the Hi.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah? Yeah, your psychic? You have a psychic backfire story
or good story? Positive story?
Speaker 10 (12:22):
I actually have a really good story. So this was
in eighteen. I went to a pikach that my friend
had been telling me to go to and I had
been I'm sorry. This was twenty nineteen. I had been
dating my now husband for a year and I went
to this lady and she's telling me, oh, he's ready,
(12:45):
like he has a ring, he he's going to propose.
And it was so funny because just like three days
ago I told him like, why would we ever get married?
Like that's the silliest thing ever. We're not going to
do that. I didn't really think anything of it, and
she was like, no, no, he has a ring, he
wants to propose, Like this is happening, And was like whatever, okay.
(13:06):
So that night I get home, he proposes.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
Oh my gosh, she was right.
Speaker 10 (13:14):
Yeah, it was on crazy. I emailed her the next
day and was like, oh my god, you're not going
to believe this was actually yeah, I did believe it.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
What changed your mind with the like we're not going
to get married, that's ridiculous. Was that you just trying
to talk yourself out of not being hopeful.
Speaker 10 (13:32):
Yeah, so I was married before and it was not
obviously a good relationship. She she was the one that
told me, listen, you know, you have a really good
opportunity with this man. He'll give you an amazing life.
You just need to decide, you know, if you want
this or not. And I kind of was like, you know,
you're right, I do want this. I really love this guy,
(13:53):
and yeah I'm going to do it. I would say
if he did it, and then he did it.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Have you gone back to the psychic for anything else
since then?
Speaker 10 (14:02):
No?
Speaker 9 (14:03):
Not really.
Speaker 10 (14:05):
I mean I went to like with a friend for
like a group reading kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
But it was so when you told the psychic, When
you told the psychic that he proposed, was she like
he did?
Speaker 10 (14:19):
Like?
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Wow? I mean like she probably has generic responses, Oh,
you're in a relationship. Oh yeah, he's gonna propose. But
for him to do it that night, she probably hit
you know, like what do they say? Even a blind
squirrel finds them nut every once in a while. By now,
you're gonna call her up and called her the next
a couple of weeks later. I think you guys are
gonna go on a honeymoon somewhere. You're gonna be traveling.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
Right, I like the lottery? What are we doing here?
Speaker 8 (14:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Well, thanks thanks for calling in and congratulations, Thank you
so much.
Speaker 10 (14:47):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 7 (14:48):
We love you. Guys.
Speaker 10 (14:48):
Were listening to you every day.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Thanks, thanks for listening. Have a great day.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
Ever since I was.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Tim Timas Timas.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
It's John Dane Rich Hi, Hannah, thanks for holding Hi.
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (15:14):
My situationship?
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Go on?
Speaker 3 (15:19):
So the man who has told me repeatedly that he's
not ready for a relationship just introduced me to.
Speaker 9 (15:25):
His mom and like, not some pop in quick FaceTime
or whatever, like just a full sit down dinner at
her house.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
She hugged me and like asked me how he and
I met.
Speaker 6 (15:40):
And showed me his baby pictures and I was like, ma'am,
I don't even.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
Know your son's middle name.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Like he told me that was too serious for me
to know.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
So what's up about that? How does he explain that?
The intro? I agree, I just like what was going on?
Speaker 10 (15:57):
And then after all that, he.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Dropped me off and he goes, okay, so we're on
the same page.
Speaker 9 (16:01):
I'm not looking for anything serious.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
I'm like, sure, Well, so is that a casual Tuesday?
Speaker 1 (16:09):
What?
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Maybe mom didn't get the note that this is just
a casual situationship and she was just you know, approaching you,
like if you came around the house, then he must
be serious.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
About you.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
I feel like you shouldn't bring your casual situationship to
meet your mom home anywhere.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Let me tell you, guys, listen, let me tell you
as a guy that I never introduced to anybody to
my mom. So this is what I think that he's doing.
So he's like, Mom, I really like this girl. I
want to bring her by. I want you to meet her, okay,
And then he's telling you I don't want anything. I
don't want a relationship, but you know we're casually dating.
(16:44):
Then he wants to see what mom says. And if
mom says you're amazing, then he will follow up and
be like, oh wow, hey this is great. But instead
it sounds like Mom didn't like you.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Well, I was thinking a totally different route. I was thinking, like,
his mom's been pressuring him to have someone in his life,
and he's saying.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
I do I do.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
She doesn't believe him. She's like, let me meet her.
Right that he brings her about to satisfied mom, but
then reminds you, hey, this is just appeasing my mom.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Okay. So what's interesting about the two different dilemmas yours
and mine is mine? I think comes from the perspective
of a very close relationship with mom. I want my
mom to see this girl to tell me if you
like her or not. The other way is kind of
like you're lying the mom.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
You're lying them, all right, Yeah, because Mom's put too
much pressure off.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Mine's coming from a really good place relationship with my mom,
where I want my mom to check this girl out.
What do you think? And I'm telling the girl I'm
keeping her arm's length in case my mom says, ah,
she's disgusting, she's crossed. My God, Billy slept with the
five times, and I'd be like, oh hey, because then
what did he say to.
Speaker 10 (17:41):
You at the end, just so we're clear and on
the same page, I'm not looking for.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
Mom gave him the whole like under That totally sucks
for Hannah because even if Mom didn't like her, now
she's under the impression that, oh, I just met your mom.
Like that's mixed signals, not signals, because.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
He said he also said, just so we're clear. So
he was very clear with just so we're clear.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
Say that before you go meet mom and let her
have the office.
Speaker 10 (18:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
First, I think that he sent her up for failure.
Either way, whether Mom liked her Orgentic.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
There's lots of relationship tests that people put each other through.
I remember back in the day, it used to be
unlocking the door. You let a girl in the car,
you open the door for her, and she's supposed to
unlock your door. If she does that, you're like, this
is a good girl.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Meet your dog. If the dog doesn't like you, then
you're all.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Kinds of texts. This is the mom testes there you go. Sorry,
We'll find you a new guy.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Okay, I know I'm a catch.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
It's all good. I know you are. Thanks Hannah. If
you have a relationship test, text us, text JJR whatever
that test is, and we'll put you on there. We'll
go through it. It's John Jay and rich TSFM. Text
JJR whatever that test is to nine six eight nine three.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
Part of the show this morning, No worries, It's all
there on my Heart Radio.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Time for Stacks and Hacks. We are going to get
and recap everyone's thanksgivings in just a little bit. But first,
Stacks and Hacks, I told you guys, I watched Wicked
the other day, right, and I still haven't gone to
see the sequel yet. And the only reason I haven't
seen the sequel is because Kyle kind of bummed me
out about the songs that aren't that good, so I
don't want to say that. I think I'm gonna wait.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
I think over all though, it's still a very good movie.
Like I still think you should go see it.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Okay. Well, I got excited because I saw this research
It said these are the scariest on screen villains of
all time. Okay, scariest on screen villains of all time?
Now number one is Hannibal Lecter okay, and then there's
like penny Wise is on there. But number four. I
was like, I just watched Wicked, I've seen Wizard of Oz.
(19:36):
Who is this Vern Shillinger? Vern Shillinger is the number
four scariest on screen villain of all time?
Speaker 5 (19:46):
That is what movie is it in?
Speaker 1 (19:48):
It's a movie called Oz, which I immediately thought was Wicked.
I just it's not. I know, yeah, it's Oz and
it's terrifying. No, I think Oz is a TV show
at HBO Out of Prison.
Speaker 11 (20:00):
Yeah, but my first thing was what house they came up?
Speaker 1 (20:05):
You don't see somebody burn learn I just watched this movie.
I don't remember anyone they burned but it's the prison
show on HBO. Speaking of TV, I bet you won't
believe what is the most watched Emmy nominated series of
twenty twenty five was the most watched TV show of
(20:26):
twenty twenty five. Emmy nominated Bear Kyle, What Bear, No Rich?
Speaker 4 (20:31):
What Wednesday?
Speaker 1 (20:32):
No Only? Murders of the Building is fourth, Seventh is
five White Lotus is number two, number one Survivor Survivor.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
Oh my gosh, my wife Stacey is a dick to
that show. She watches it like comfort food. She's never
missed an episode. It's been on for like thirty nine
years now.
Speaker 7 (20:51):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
By the way, this year's Instagram Nobel Prize winners they
study a bunch of weird things, and they studied. They
found that lizards prefer forty pizza over other pizzas. Cows
painted with zebra like stripes are fifty percent likely to
be bitten by flies. That's why they spend all this
money on ye. Also, this is this is actually true.
Engineers are investigating the plane crashes could become survivable if
(21:15):
air bags were added to the aircraft and not just
in the seatbacks outside the plane. For now, it's just
an idea. But they'd been simulating and going, yeah, and
it does work. There's a town in Iowa called Jessup
and they have now banned teeping. So if you are
caught teeping like a house or trees or someone's house,
you could go to jail.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Would you?
Speaker 5 (21:35):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (21:36):
I was just telling my nephew king that we should
go teeping. Try a passage, right, I'm like, we can
go and TP like one of my friend's house or something.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Will feel so sneaky and we teepee the house as
a family.
Speaker 8 (21:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Fun. Women had to be rushed urgent care because you
got a paper cut. It got infected and got really nasty,
so shiit to go. Do you guys remember my Space? Yeah,
had the opportunity to buy Facebook for seventy five million
bucks in two thousand and five, and they passed. Now
it's twenty years later. My Space is around a Facebook
is worth one point five trillion.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
Oh, oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
And one last story, you guys. A new poll of
dog owners found the top personality traits that we think
we share with our dog. What do you think we
share with our dog?
Speaker 4 (22:24):
When you smell chicken, you run to it right away.
Speaker 5 (22:27):
Loyalty.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Maybe number five is independent. Number four is easy going.
Number three is are energetic. Number two is affectionate. Number
one is you're both very friendly, no very friendly? What
do you have our life hacks?
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Rich, Well, let's sell this leftover debate once and for all.
Is that Thursday turkey is still good today because the
weekends passed?
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Right?
Speaker 4 (22:45):
The answer is kind of yes and kind of no.
So if you handled it right, So, Kyle, if your
turkey was cooked three to four days in the fridge,
it should be okay. It takes you right through today.
But here's the trick. The danger stone starts when it
sits out for more than two hours. So if your
bird lived on the counter all afternoon on Thursday, well,
(23:06):
now it's a science experiment and you should throw it
away best moved though. Chop it all up and stick
in the freezer today and you're good. You can still
make like enchiladas or whatever out of it sandwiches today,
But today's really the last day in the fridge. Now
you've got to freeze it or it's go time. And
if he smells just a little bit off, you need
to chuck that turkey rest leftovers like you know, like
castro green bean stuff. As long as it's fridge, it's
(23:27):
fine that life hacking. Many more can be found at
John Jayne Rich dot com.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Avery, good morning, what's going on with you? How can
we help you?
Speaker 3 (23:35):
I have some really bad news that I need to
break to my brand new fiance.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Brand new fiance. Oh bad news? Okay, okay, well we
will help you deliver this news. All right, let us
figure it out. We'll come back find out what she's
talking about. And that is next with John Jaye Rich Me.
It's John Jane Rich. We're gonna do breaking bad news.
We haven't done what according to hit you over two years,
but to sit to calls for because from what understand,
(24:02):
this situation is tough and if any one of us
was in this situation, you would want to be in
this situation. Oh okay, this is a situation.
Speaker 5 (24:10):
What's the situation?
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Let's ask every good morning? Hi, Hi, what's your situation?
Speaker 3 (24:17):
So my boyfriend, well, my fiancee has no idea that
I don't actually want to marry him.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
When did the proposal take place?
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Thursday on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
In front of the family and everything, So you feel
pressure you had to say yes?
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Is that what happened exactly? I mean, there's just no
way I could have said no, Like in the moment,
I wanted to believe me. I didn't want to tap
to tell him yes and know that later on I
was gonna have to break this news. But there's no
way I could say no in front of his whole family.
They're watching me.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Well, how did it go down? After dinner? Before dinner?
Give us the details?
Speaker 6 (25:01):
It was.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
It was after dinner, right before dessert. Everyone was in
the dining room and he called my name. I was
headed to the headed to the dessert table. I turn
around and he's on one knee.
Speaker 6 (25:18):
So, why don't you want to marry?
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Did you fall?
Speaker 4 (25:22):
What kind of yes was it? Was it a crying
I'm so happy yes, but you faked it? Or was
it a crying because I have to say yes and
I can't say no?
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Like?
Speaker 4 (25:30):
What what was that part?
Speaker 3 (25:32):
I wasn't crying. I just said yes, and then everybody cheered,
and so I started to like baugh and smile along
with everyone cheering, And honestly, it's such a blur and
everyone's hugging.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
You, congratulating you.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
I would guess that and that this was at his
house because it was or his family. Maybe you're find
me heard too about it, because if you're at your house,
your family, you'd be like you'd have a better chance
of saying whoa, whoa, why.
Speaker 5 (26:03):
Do you not want to marry him? Like what's were
you going to break up with him? Or what's the
deal with that?
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Well, the thing is, we're we've been together for three years,
and I just have been feeling like we're not as
close as everybody thinks that we are, Like obviously it
feels like I mean, it feels like we're more comfortable
just being together than we are actually connected, and we
barely want dates anymore. We like we constantly are arguing
(26:34):
about the same thing, and I just for a while,
I've been thinking, like I can't even remember the last
time I felt that butterfly feeling with him that we
used to have, and so like, seriously, for him to
propose like everything is perfect just finally was the straw
that made me realize how far apart we've become.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Okay, what's your fiance's name? I probably don't like that
we call him fiance? What's your what's yourn your fiance?
Speaker 5 (27:04):
For now?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Okay, so we haven't done breaking bad News in a
couple of years. So remind me what we do. We
take a break, right, then we get them on the phone,
and then one of us we write the bad news
on a letter.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
Right, Oh, yeah, have the letter. One of us has
to read it. Not mean to Micah?
Speaker 6 (27:21):
I think, yeah, No.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
Avery gets to pick who gets.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
To reds All right, so Avery, you got Rich, Peyton,
Kyle and me. Don't tell us who you're gonna pick yet.
We'll take a quick break, we'll come back, we'll get
the bad news written in a letter, and then the
bad news also, I mean to say, whatever the words are,
it's going to be pretty brutal. So uh, we're going
to tell him that you don't want to be married
to him, and we will do that Breaking bad News
(27:47):
next with John Jane Rich. It's John j and Rich.
We're in the middle of a segment called breaking bad News,
which we haven't done in a couple of years. Here's
the deal. Avery has been with a boyfriend Micah for
over three years. He proposed to her in front of
his whole family on Thanksgiving. She felt pressure, she said yes.
(28:08):
The deal is she does want to be married to him,
and it's better to do it now, the sooner the better,
And Avery, you felt like using our show to end
your engagement? Correct, Yes, we're so heard. Okay, So we're
gonna get Mike on the phone for everyone, and we're
gonna tell him explain the segment to him. Right, We're
(28:29):
gonna tell me that bad news I forgot it's been
a long time. True. But first she needs to decide
who's going to break, right, But I'm trying to remember
how the segment goes. So we got to call him
up on the phone, tell me he's on the air,
and tell him we got bad news, and then we
don't is she on the phone with Okay? Can show
to make sure show makes you?
Speaker 5 (28:43):
I don't know if he knows that? Does he know it? Yes,
he knows it. He knows it because remember the whole
thing was research has showed that like you break the
bad news, it lessens it with people that care.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Okay, Okay, okay, kay, great, Okay, all right, Avery, So
you got Rich, Peyton, me and Kyle. Who would you
like to read the bad news to your fiance?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
I would like Kyle because I feel like I feel
like maybe she rejected a proposal or two.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
I've chosen break off a proposal at one point, you've
chosen wisely for you.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
Good point. That's really good.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
Let's call him.
Speaker 11 (29:35):
Hello.
Speaker 5 (29:36):
Hey is this Micah?
Speaker 6 (29:39):
It is Are you okay?
Speaker 1 (29:42):
If you're not, okay, this is the correct but okay.
Speaker 6 (29:44):
I'm glad. This is Micah. I'm Peyton with John, Jay
and Rich. We just wanted to talk to you on
the radio really quickly if you've got time this morning.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Okay, yeah, hey, so you're on our radio show. Are
you driving right now? I was okay, if you're not driving,
you think you can get off bluetooth or speakerphone because
this is pretty important.
Speaker 9 (30:05):
Okay, how about now much better?
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Okay, So Micah, we're grateful you're on our radio show
and you're on our radio show because, first of all, congratulations,
I know you just got engaged on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 9 (30:17):
Yeah, okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
Did you just go back on speakerphone?
Speaker 9 (30:22):
No?
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Okay? Good? All right? Your fiance Avery called us, so
she's actually on the phone right now. Avery wants to
hi to Micah. Hi Micah, Hey, so wow, yeah, so
this is I mean, you're engaged, so you're probably going
where is this going? What is this about why am
I on this radio show? Right? Am I? Right? Is
that those are some of the thoughts.
Speaker 9 (30:43):
Yeah, yeah, I think my mom has something to do
with this.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
No, no, no, so I wouldn't think.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
So we did this research. We have all this research
that says that when you get news, and if you
get news, whether it's good or bad, if your friends
are with you, it's easier to deliver the news, okay,
and to receive it.
Speaker 11 (31:02):
Right.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Yes, and Avery has some news as she wants to
tell you, and she came to us saying, I need
help with this situation. So as a radio show, we
kind of want to make it a little bit of fun.
So the bad news, if it is bad news, is
in an envelope right now. Avery has chosen Kyle on
our show to read you this news. So we're just
(31:23):
gonna rip open an envelope and just read you the news. Okay.
She has something to tell you, but she wants us
to tell it to you. Do you understand? Okay?
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (31:31):
Okay, are you ready?
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Are you listening? You got to focus on this. Okay.
This is coming from Avery, but Kyle's gonna read it
to you.
Speaker 8 (31:37):
I'm ready, okay, Okay, okay, Look, I'm not gonna sugarcoat this.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
I said yes to your proposal because your entire family
was staring at me like it was a live studio audience,
not because I actually wanted to marry you. We haven't
been good for a long time, and you proposing out
of nowhere didn't really magically fix that. It just kind
of proved how out of touch you are with where
we actually stand. I'm not planning a wedding, I'm not
(32:12):
playing along, and I'm not wearing this ring another day.
You deserve someone who's excited to say yes, and I
deserve to stop pretending I'm that girl.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (32:23):
Okay, so that's how you really feel like you couldn't
tell me this in private, Avery, like you had come
on the radio and embarrass me like this.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Micah, I did tell you multiple times and you just
never listened. You did exactly what I said that I
wasn't ready for my god.
Speaker 9 (32:45):
Avery, like I proposed to you because I love you,
Like I thought, surprising you in front of my family,
would you know, make it special? Like that comes to
some kind of like hostage situation.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Yeah, but Micah, you you didn't surprise me. You cornered me. Like,
you know, I hate big public stuff like that, and
but you did it anyway like that. That wasn't romantic
for me. It was pressure.
Speaker 9 (33:09):
So that's it, Like you're just what like done like
over one thing.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
But it's it's not the one thing. It's it's everything
that has been leading up to this and and the
fact that you're you don't even see that is that's
exactly why I can't marry you.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (33:28):
So like I'm finding out on the radio that the
person I wanted to spend my life with basically hates me.
That's that's just great. That's so there's a really great
way to start my day.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
Listen, let me let me show it for a second.
Give you some advice from she You tried it on Thanksgiving?
Why don't you, Guys, I don't know if it's over,
if you're still going to be together, but why don't
you refire Christmas? Going to marry your Christmas?
Speaker 3 (33:53):
I don't hate you, Micah, I'm just tired of pretending.
I'm so tired of pretending that we're something that you
haven't been any years.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
Hey, Micah, if she wanted to say no, would you
have preferred that she said no? In that setting in
front of the whole family, or said yes and then
fixed it later. Where are you on that?
Speaker 9 (34:15):
Oh my god, I don't even know. I just I
just can't believe this is happening. I don't even know.
Like that's probably better than the radio, honestly.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
Yeah, yeah, I get it.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
I mean, the good news is is it doesn't sound
like the relationship is irrepaarable, you know what I mean.
It sounds like you guys just need to reconnect and
see if you really are in a place where you
want to start the rest of your lives together. Because obviously,
you know, Avery's saying I don't feel that way. She's
not saying like I hate you and never want to
(34:47):
see you again.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
She's saying she doesn't feel connected the way that you
need to be connected to.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Make the next up.
Speaker 5 (34:54):
Yeah, at least if you too would be willing to
work on it, I think maybe there's a chance you
could get back there. I don't know how you feel
about that, Avery, or.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
I mean, I obviously I do not hate you, Micah.
I just don't know if I could ever show my
face to your family again.
Speaker 8 (35:13):
Right.
Speaker 6 (35:13):
That's where it's awkward. It's like you have to go
break that news here to both of your families. I'm
sure of it. But it's like, do you wait to
tell them until after the holidays?
Speaker 5 (35:22):
But I think is that happened to my brother, I
would be like, well, thank god she found out. She's
telling you this now, and you didn't go down the
road of planning a wedding and spending money on a
wedding and starting this life together and miserab Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
Yeah, so there's a bride side for this. Thank you
both for being on the radio. That's breaking bad news.
You guys breaking bad news, Susie. Yeah, it's John J.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Rich, John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
It's John J. Rich. We need to contest it, to
play minute to win it. We have one thousand dollars
of Pat Tackey's money. Call eight seven seven nine three
seven one four seven Cyber Monday. Anybody get a good deals?
Anybody buy anything today? I bought stuff this morning already,
same would you buy?
Speaker 4 (36:10):
It's so nerdy. I mean, I'll tell you guys about it,
but it's totally nerdy. I bought a record cleaner that
goes subsonic, that gets all the dust in crackles out
of your records. And they've been very, very expensive in
the past, but this one is fifty percent off, so
I went for it. I will have clean sounding records.
(36:30):
I think it's very important.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Did Cyber Monday so good for me?
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Cyber Monday?
Speaker 5 (36:42):
I said, did you buy something?
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Yes? I bought a same thing I buy every year
on Cyber Monday, is about one hundred Gap shirts. Because
they're only there's different Gap shirts. I don't know the
difference between of them. Some of them are five dollars,
some of them are seven dollars right now, Normally you're
twenty five to thirty bucks. And I bought a whole
bunch buch of them. So that's my wardrobe for the
next year.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Didn't I see that Gap is fifty percent off everything today.
That's what I saw. I think on the news this morning.
It's pretty good deal. I don't know, but that's a
good deal for this T shirts.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
What about you, Peyton? What about Kyle?
Speaker 6 (37:10):
I haven't gone shopping yet, but I will be later
today when I get a chance to like, sit down, relax,
grab a glass of wine.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (37:17):
I did a bunch of Black Friday shopping because my
goal was just to be done with Christmas shopping by
the end of today. I don't know if that'll happen.
I still have like a couple people, but I feel
like I'm well on my way. But just two seconds ago,
I noticed that the little touch Land hand sanitizers that
are really popular, there's a three pack which is usually
(37:38):
thirty bucks on sale for only twenty two bucks on Amazon.
So I did buy that.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
I made a Black Friday purchase. But I'm not going
to tell you just yet. I'm going to I'll tell
you like after we play a minute to win, because
it's kind of embarrassing, but I had to do it.
I think we have a contest here. Let's say, hello, Lauren,
Hi Lauren, Yes you're calling to play Minute to Win it.
I am okay, ready to go. We got Paticky's thousand
(38:06):
dollars on the line.
Speaker 10 (38:08):
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 4 (38:10):
Okay, good luck to you. Sixty seconds on the clock
to win one thousand dollars of Paddicky from Peoria for
its money. Here we go on what streaming service would
you find the TV show Stranger Things?
Speaker 1 (38:25):
Oh god?
Speaker 10 (38:26):
Uh is it Netflix?
Speaker 4 (38:29):
What do bad kids typically get in there? Christmas stucking?
What is Frosty the snowman's nose made out of.
Speaker 7 (38:43):
The carrot, but weller button on the nose, Lauren, Sorry, guys,
it should be a carrot.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
That would have been a good lyrics.
Speaker 5 (39:01):
Just like the song does save button.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
If he would have said snowman, he probably would accepted carrot.
But for Frosty the Snowman, he's a button nose. I
we're gonna sat you up over easy for breakfast. Thanks
for listening.
Speaker 7 (39:14):
Thank you, guys.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
You got it over easy dot com website, download their
APPIC open a new store. Oh god, where was I
was just saying it? Dear Valley du Valley anyway? Okay,
so let me tell you what I offer. Yeah, yeah, this
is so stupid, but it was so cheap comparatively, and
I don't have I don't think I have room for it.
(39:37):
Long story short, about one hundred inch TV.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
Yeah, what I've been screaming for that for you for
a long time.
Speaker 5 (39:45):
Funny is where is that gonna go?
Speaker 1 (39:47):
Work that out later? So what's funny is I don't
know how big the box is gonna be when it
does get delivered. But if I'm not home when it
gets there, like he probably can't help me take it
in and I got to put it somewhere and then
I gotta find someone. I was texting with a guy
seeing if he go, hey, if I got one hundred
inch TV, which one should I get? And I looked
it up and the prices were crazy, like it's so
(40:08):
it's so on Friday. It's ridiculous on electronics. I think
for Black Friday, right, oh yeah? So uh Anyway, I
hope he's willing to put it in for me, because
I don't know how I've.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
Been like whispering this into John Jay's existence for a
long time, like you need a big TV, you get
those one hundred inch TV.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
Well, I went to my brother in law house. He
has a seventy five inch and gut in Costco really cheap,
and this seventy five inch is unbelievable. I can't imagine
what one hundred inch looks like now.
Speaker 5 (40:36):
Enormous.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
It's going to be your whole wall.
Speaker 6 (40:38):
Yeah, I know that's a two man job like that.
You're not going to be able to just have one
person hitting that TV out.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
And you're going to be like, I'm sitting too close
because it's so big, and that's going to feel so good.
You're just gonna love. The shows are going to be better.
Speaker 5 (40:50):
This second acount.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Well, I thought, you know, we have a playroom that
the kids and there's three TVs on that wall, and
I thought, we'll take those down. I'll put the TV
in there, says my kids are I'm and make it
my room. My but the couch in there sucks. So
I tell my wife, I said I'd be cool if
we got a new couch, And all of a sudden,
on my phone, couch ads are popping up. I don't
care how many how often we talk about it, and
(41:12):
it's still the weirdest thing in the world because like,
I've never talked about a couch ever, and now all
these ads are popping up.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
What's the perfect couch for for TV watching? One hundred?
Like it's got to be gushy, right, it's.
Speaker 6 (41:23):
Got to couch that that's like the one that was
viral on TikTok and like literally you sit in it
and it like takes you over, like it's this giant
puffy cloud.
Speaker 5 (41:33):
Yeah, look it up, the cloud couch. Look it up,
Google it.
Speaker 4 (41:36):
You know what, that Lolla Blanket company should make a
couch because those are those are nice anyway, yeah, I'm
so excited. We should all be there for it, you guys,
you know, just like, uh, you know, I fancy myself
a musician. My craft is a guitar, Your craft sir
(41:56):
as a television it is.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
I watched so much TV this week. This is in fact,
I got to the point where I can't there's like
nothing else. I've watched everything, and I can't commit to
anything right now. I even started watching this movie on
Netflix last night, that with the guy, the guy who
played Elvis. If you guy start watching it yet, it's
called The Cat Stealing or something. Butler, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that guy. Do you see that's him and Zoe Kravitz.
Speaker 6 (42:18):
Oh, I would like that.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
Yeah, it's a movie. It's a movie. It's a top
top ten. No, it's a Netflix on Netflix, top ten
on Netflix. And it's like, uh, it's I'm not enjoying
it and I haven't heard anything about it. But I
paused it. I think I have like an hour left,
so I sent I told my sister because my sister
was like, what what should maybe watching right now? And uh,
obviously Stranger Things, but she's not in the Stranger Things.
So she started. When I woke up this morning, I
(42:40):
got a text from her blasting this movie that she
sat to the movie and I think it's terrible.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
I'm only half an hour in. I got an hour
Austin Butler. If everybody loves that.
Speaker 6 (42:48):
That's the one that there was like a ton of
rumors that Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler were dating.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
Oh well, their love scenes are pretty amazing.
Speaker 5 (42:55):
Oh are they?
Speaker 1 (42:55):
Yeah? Really amazing.
Speaker 5 (42:57):
I always do that, the rumors that the costs are always.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
I think when you see a love scene like that,
you're like, Okay, you came.
Speaker 6 (43:03):
I think they look good together. Personally, I did too,
you do.
Speaker 5 (43:07):
I kind of was like on the same tips huge
on day this weekend, I was like, I don't like,
there's not good TV for me. And I didn't get
into Stranger Things, so I know everyone's freaking out Stranger Things.
This is really awesome. I'm happy for everybody because I
know how that is when your favorite TV show drops
a new season. But I wasn't, so I started watching
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Speaker 6 (43:26):
Good totally Things.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
I easy to put it on that show. It's my
favorite reality show.
Speaker 5 (43:32):
It was almost done in the first season. I think
they just dropped the third season.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Who watched Stranger Things?
Speaker 6 (43:35):
Though I watched it in one sitting?
Speaker 1 (43:38):
So did I? I have a theory something hit me
in the middle of Stranger Things where I feel like
I discovered I'm going to create my own spoiler. I
didn't read it anywhere, but something happened with Stranger Things,
like I was like, oh my god, I think this
is what this means. And I haven't seen it anywhere. Okay,
I'll tell you. In fact, i'll tell you after theater
Swift we got oh look, we got it sharing tickets
(43:59):
about an hour from now Christmas Wish season. So if
you know a family that can use a little help this
holiday season, nominate them. Go to John Jamers dot com
Taylor Swift, and then I'll tell you my Stranger Things theory.
Speaker 5 (44:09):
You saved my hard from the fate of Oh Christmas.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
December? First, when's her? When's the theaters documentary come out
on Disney? It's this month, isn't it like? Second? A
couple second a week?
Speaker 5 (44:21):
Do you know her birthday?
Speaker 6 (44:23):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (44:24):
How do we got?
Speaker 7 (44:25):
Probably?
Speaker 1 (44:25):
Does anybody know when Tatter's documentary? Noah? Do you know.
Speaker 5 (44:30):
The end of an Era? A six episode docuseries Peeling
Back the Curtain of Development, Impact and inner workings of
her tour drops December twelfth.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Y good, par Okay, Stranger Things. So I don't I'm
not going to ruin anything for you. I don't think
I am. But I have my own theory on what's
going on with Stranger Things. Okay. So when Stranger Things
first started, part of the hook of it it was
it takes place in the eighties, and they paid homage
to lots of things in the eighties like Goonies and
(45:01):
Grimin and Saved by Me and all these these movies
that made an impact on people on Generation X and millennials.
So I'm watching it, and you know the part where Max,
I think is Max goes and sees through Vecna's eyes
through the school in the fifties.
Speaker 6 (45:15):
Yeah, that's really cool.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
That's really cool, right she sees that flyer. Well made
me think of another great movie in the eighties was
Back to the Future. And that scene right there where
they showed everybody in the fifties literally looked to me
like it was right out of Back to the Future.
And then they showed the flyer, and then in the flyer,
you see that Joyce is in the Flyer, Hoppers in
the Flyer, Henry's in the Flyer, right, and those and
Henry's Vecna the Wheelers, Yeah, all in their fly Where're
(45:38):
the I'm going with this, I don't know yet, Okay.
Another huge movie in the eighties was Empire Strikes Back.
Darth Vader legend finds out that he has twins. He
also tells Luke that he's his father. I think Vecna
is the dad to Will and Eleven. That's what I think.
(45:59):
I think Vecna and I think Vecna is Joyce's something
happened in that play, and that's and got pregnant and
had twins, and he doesn't know he has twins yet,
just like Darth Vader when he goes, you have a sister.
Pretty good, So that's what I think it's happened pretty good.
That's I don't hate it, right.
Speaker 6 (46:16):
Something with like the Star Wars and the Dark Vader.
Maybe I don't know exactly on like the Twins though,
I'm excited to talk to you because I don't want
to give any spoilers. But I definitely have gone down
the rabbit holes on like all of the Internet, so
I feel like I've picked up on a couple of
things that people are putting together, like conspiracy theory.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
Have you heard that yet?
Speaker 6 (46:32):
I haven't heard that. I have heard the Star Wars connection.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
I have not. Okay, really that part like.
Speaker 6 (46:38):
Not like the Darth Vader vibe.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
But I don't want to spoil Darth Vader. The thing
about the Darth Vader thing is that he's the father
to Luke and Lea, and you don't find that out
until Empire Striking Right.
Speaker 5 (46:48):
You may have it.
Speaker 6 (46:48):
You may have just ruined the rest of the season
for us and Kyle.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
By the way, when you watch it, episode so fifth
sees an episode one. Now the teenagers or the high
schoolers are working at radio station. It's a really cool
They do everything for radio station and guess what, they
have also technical difficulties all the.
Speaker 4 (47:04):
Time, just like us. They're up there.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
Most realistic scene that series is when they go off
the air and they can't figure out why.
Speaker 4 (47:11):
But in this season came back snatched. He must have
gotten on.
Speaker 6 (47:14):
Someone's literally, they were like that came out snash ready
to just slagh.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
Yeah that's a big deal.
Speaker 6 (47:22):
Kyla. You said you never watched Stranger Things, but I
feel like this season, you can watch it and not
have to watch it because you forget right into the action.
Speaker 4 (47:30):
Like it's so good you forget about the other stuff. Anyway,
if you just watch the recap, you're That's what happened
with my wife Stacy, because she's never seen it before
and started watching a recap with me, and she was
just kind of in. She didn't have to ask too
many questions.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
Did you ready the brothers that made the show That
Duffer Brothers actually used a real teacher in. Yeah, it's
it's a good show. I mean, it's fun to watch,
but there's like flaws, but you have to let those go.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
Yeah, and they actually speak so fast about you know,
lore things that it goes right by me. And I
know they're away plot stuff. I don't understand it, but
you kind of figured it out because it goes along anyway.
Speaker 6 (48:04):
My favorite character is Erica though Lucas's little sister. She's
the best.
Speaker 1 (48:09):
Well. I got a problem with Luca's hair, his hair
and also Dustin's hair that like the.
Speaker 4 (48:15):
Wings the wings are bad, Yeah they're bad. Yeah they
do not look like teenagers. No, but you know, I
was watching with my son Joonie's like you shouldn't have
to be dealing in the same storyline with like Demi
Gorgan's from Hell and school bullying. He's like, school Billy
shouldn't be in there, Like that doesn't even need to dig.
That's like not part of what the you're fighting under
(48:36):
the underworld. That's enough, you fight the underworld.
Speaker 1 (48:38):
How about a Landman? You guys kind of get caught
up a Landman. You're watching it's so good. I didn't
like the first episode so interesting.
Speaker 5 (48:44):
Yeah, because we watched the first episode and you were
not in no.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
Second episode I think is fantastic. In fact, the second
episode there's father and son interaction where the actors may
seem so real. I believe that their father and son
and they're crying. It's like it's so well done. And
then I watched the third episode last night. It just
really really good.
Speaker 4 (49:00):
Yeah, it's good. That's when more Demi Moore focused and
she's awesome, Like she'll win an Emmy for that.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
What else on to you? What about movies? What about Zutopia?
And one sees Zutopia?
Speaker 6 (49:10):
I okay, I had a plan literally over the weekend. Yesterday,
Kadeem and I were like, we're gonna go see Zutopia.
We got all of our stuff together about to walk
out of the door, and I was like, wait, Zootopia
is a kid's movie. Also, this is opening weekend, and
I'll be damned if the same thing happened to me
that happened at Lelo and Stitch a couple of months ago. Yeah, waiting,
(49:31):
I walked into Lelo and Stitch, and I genuinely forgot
that it was like a kid's movie. I thought it
was a movie for like me because I grew up
on Lelo and Stitch. I was not expecting to see
a bunch of ten year olds running around, and so
I did not want that experience for Zootopia. So I'm
gonna wait till next weekend.
Speaker 5 (49:46):
It was like so huge. I think it made five
hundred and fifty six million dollars, which like broke box
office records. It's like the biggest animated movie opening ever.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
That's so crazy because I didn't see any To me,
I was all right in. I was consumed with Stranger
Things and Wicked before that, and then to me, out
of nowhere, this movie drops and it's the biggest thing
of all times. I didn't see Zutopia one, and I've
heard z Utopia two is better than Zutopia on I'm exa.
Speaker 6 (50:08):
Because Utopia is good the ridge.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Yeah he didn't. You didn't know that the kids brought
it up to you. No, see, that's what I mean.
Their marketing was terrible. Apparently not who.
Speaker 11 (50:21):
And yeah, I went and I left thinking like, I
don't I I think I've seen Utopia like five times
and I can't tell you a single thing that happened
in Utopia two is fantastic, Like it might be my
favorite movie of the year.
Speaker 1 (50:36):
It was. It was really so good.
Speaker 5 (50:39):
Dang oh, I love that.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
I was telling you guys that the movie I saw
on Netflix isn't very good. It's called cot Stealing. And
here's a text from a nine one five number. Cot
Stealing is so bad. Yeah, Austin Butler, Zoe Krautz, so bad.
I did see Wicked too. I thought it was great.
Wicked for good. Yeah, you thought it was great.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
I thought it was great. So my wife saw it
before me with her boys, and I went with my
kids this weekend and she's like, it's not as good
as the first one.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
I don't know. I liked it just as much.
Speaker 4 (51:08):
I thought they were both great, so it wrapped it
up and I forgot even having read the book and
seeing I forgot some of the the plot twists at
the end, and they were very satisfying to me, very
very conclusive and happy ending for me.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
I liked all of it. Oh that was great, busy
holiday weekend for everyone. We're gonna do a little Thanksgiving recap.
Plus we want to hear about your Turkey day eight seven, seven,
nine three, seven one four seven, Any drama, any surprises,
any bombs. We'll get into it next.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
Jug which call the show at eight seven, seven.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
Nine seven seventh. Kyle, you remember season four of Stranger Things,
that one old song that got brought back and we
played it over. Yeah, yeah, there's another song. I'm hoping
the song that they kind of showcase does not come
back because I remember what this one.
Speaker 6 (52:03):
Away into the night and then.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
It's almost then say, I think we will know.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
It was actually a pretty good song. I just don't
want to hear it a thousand times like that Cake
Boys song. Things. Okay, Thanksgiving, I would have a good Thanksgiving.
What'd you do, Peyton, Well.
Speaker 6 (52:24):
We really didn't do much. Actually, my mom kind of
threw a curveball at us. I've been telling you guys
every year for Thanksgiving, my family doesn't really like Thanksgiving food,
and so we do chili dogs. But this year my
mom decided to do Thanksgiving sides. So we had chili
dogs with all of the Thanksgiving fixens aside from like
the turkey.
Speaker 1 (52:43):
Basically that could work. So you had like the green
bean cast role.
Speaker 6 (52:47):
We don't do that.
Speaker 4 (52:48):
Mac cheese, yes, we had macon cheese.
Speaker 6 (52:50):
We had like sweet potatoes, soup fle we had mashed potatoes.
It was actually really really tasty. And then after me
and Kadem went to main event with my brother Jalen
and his boy friend Alex, and then we went bowling
and it was actually a really great time.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (53:04):
So Thanksgiving was really awesome. It was my brother and
his wife out of town, so it kind of felt
like such a smaller affair. There's just four people. Yeah,
and that's and that's cool because they switch off, you know,
Christmas and Thanksgiving with her family and our family. But
before Thanksgiving was kind of a little hectic because the
school sent out an email saying that a bunch of
(53:27):
cases of lice were found.
Speaker 6 (53:30):
What I was like no, instantly right now, exactly literally
just reading the email, I started to gotching my head.
Speaker 5 (53:38):
I'm like, oh my god, lice. No. And literally that
day I was heading to the school to volunteer for
the Thanksgiving party and I'm like, oh no, there's gonna
be lice everywhere. I know, So obviously we had we
had check Easton and he came in. They're like, keep
checking because it could show up, you know, incubation period
and whatnot. So like like the first three days of
(54:00):
Thanksgiving and break, it was like, let me see your
head and I'm like, Scott, look at it. I'm itching
right here, just check right here.
Speaker 6 (54:05):
They're like paranoya.
Speaker 5 (54:07):
Such paranoida luckily and another thing to be grateful for.
And Thanksgiving there was no life for any of us.
And the nurse at the school was like, We're so
glad we have this break because by the time everyone
gets back, it should be gone, like it should be eradicated.
Speaker 4 (54:24):
We were like the fumigate the school. I guess they
just go crazy. Yeah, your party for they Well, first
of all, Thanksgiving was great because me and my kids
had a Saint Louis tradition, which is toasted Ravioli. I
got like fifty of them and they were gone. They
just they just disappeared. They inhaled those. But then Black
Friday swore a which is the night of the year.
(54:44):
My wife and I have decided, like, you know, when
I was a kid, there was always a family that
had a party, like it was either New Year's Eve,
New Year's Day, Christmas. I'm like, we need to own
Black Friday. That's going to be our jam and everybody
should know. We're gonna have a little party. And it
was kind of fun. And Peyton was there, Yeah, Peyton
could Deem were there and we had tacos and we
drank drinks and it was cool.
Speaker 6 (55:03):
I thought it was awesome. First of all, you have
a really good group of people around you, Like everyone
was super awesome, super cool. And I don't know who catered,
but that food was.
Speaker 4 (55:13):
Bomb dot com so good. So I would love to
get him a shout out. I don't know who they were,
Stacy knows who.
Speaker 6 (55:19):
They got to figure that out because they deserve all
the love. Darga, you would have been at the buffet
the entire time, and I was really close to going
because it was good.
Speaker 4 (55:27):
Did you hear the neighborhood drama. No, okay, so one
of it was exciting. My friend DJ brought his new girlfriend,
who we love. She was awesome, Like they need to
get married right now.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
They are perfish.
Speaker 6 (55:37):
I don't know about that. I think they just started dating.
Speaker 4 (55:39):
And then so we invite our friend Ken Cummings from
here right he's there. He's a single man and my
neighbor from across the street. I said, where's the where's
your husband? She's like, oh, I didn't tell you. We're divorced.
She is cute and her her husband met a girl
from Facebook from his grade school, fell in love with her,
moved to Canada with her. He's gone. He's them with
(56:00):
the new girl. So she's single. So I was trying to,
you know, introduce her to Ken because they would be
super cute. Neither of them have kids. They're both cute
as little dumplings. They're the nicest people ever. Like, let's
make it happen.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
I like it.
Speaker 5 (56:13):
I think flying there, they were talking.
Speaker 4 (56:18):
They were talking, but they almost didn't notice the chemistry.
Speaker 1 (56:21):
So that's the scuttle butt. That's the scuttle butt that
they didn't notice each other.
Speaker 4 (56:24):
No, No, that she's divorced and we're gonna hook her
up with somebody. Yeah, but I think that would be
a great one. Both of them are so they need
each other make it happen. Peyton, we're about.
Speaker 1 (56:33):
A half hour away from free edge, hear and tickets.
You got to keep them saving for the que to
call before that. Hunter speak text us, text jj R
whatever you want to talk about to nine six eight
ninet three. Sometff that happened over the Thanksgiving break That's
never happened in my entire life ever, ever in my
(56:54):
entire life. Sometimes when I'm channel surfing and I see
like Jeopardies on, I put on Jeopardy and I'll you know,
I got one or two right in the category. But
I've never ever in my entire life got Final Jeopardy right. Never.
And I turn it on and it's Final Jeopardy where
they asked the question and I give my answer and
I nailed it. I got it right. And it made
(57:14):
me think that the Jeopardy people have dumbed it down
for America because it was like a Star Trek question
and I never watched Star Trek, and I was like,
it wasn't Star Trek, but it was like, what TV
show debuted twenty one years after? And it was one
hundred years later, and I was like, Star Trek next Generation,
and then everyone wrote down Star Trek Degeneration and that
was right, and I was like, oh my god. Then
(57:35):
I waited to see if it was like a you know,
college edition, because I just I've never got it right
my entire life. Like that was such a huge moment
for me.
Speaker 4 (57:44):
It was huge, you should go on that show now,
No way.
Speaker 5 (57:48):
I think it could actually do really well on that show.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
I think it dumped it down for America because that
show used to be so freaking hard.
Speaker 5 (57:54):
It still is when I see that questions from it.
Speaker 1 (57:57):
But I haven't sat down and watched it a long
time except for when I was er, because I always
I never really watched live TV.
Speaker 4 (58:02):
You were that deep into everything, you've seen everything. You
were just watching game shows. Why which challenge?
Speaker 1 (58:07):
Well, my wife likes to watch sports, so we watch
a lot of sports this weekend. In fact, a quick
update on her. So, she had a hysterect to me
about two weeks ago, and she's supposed to take it easy, right,
She's supposed to not do anything for six weeks so
she moved out of our bedroom because we're upstairs, she
can't walk upstairs. She moved in my son Kemp's bedroom,
and she's been living there for let's just say, two weeks,
(58:27):
and for me kind of awesome, like have in my
own room, you know, just little things. I noticed that.
You know, when I go upstairs, I go right to bed.
I just go right to sleep. And I noticed last
night she she wanted to come move back into our
bedroom after two weeks, right so she can walk upstairs.
She's doing really well, and then like now wish she
comes up and it was like ready to go to bed.
(58:48):
I'm ready to go to sleep. I just go to sleep.
And I realized I had to wait, Like she's doing
things like twenty minutes when she comes to sleep, sounds
like Santa's workshop back there while I'm lying, I laid bed.
Quiet that's in the other rooms, that's going on? What
change is coming back? Well? What was that?
Speaker 4 (59:12):
What was that part of the routine?
Speaker 10 (59:13):
That is.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
So she's back in our bedroom, and what a couple
of things that happened to we? So for Thanksgiving, you know,
we were gonna get takeout, and she was feeling pretty good.
So we went and crashed her family's Thanksgiving, which was
I mean, we didn't crash it. They knew we were
coming and we called and said, hey, we can make it.
So we tried because she could go out for a
little bit at a time, right, so we would go
to to my in laws Thanksgiving for a little bit,
(59:36):
had a good time. There's it's actually one of the
best thanks Giving. Because of her hysterectomy. We can't stay
very long.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
Oh you love that.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (59:43):
Showed up, We ate and left and even she can announce, oh,
I have to leave. You don't have to say anything. No,
you have the car keys ready what? My son Dutch
looks at his dad. Mom's not feeling it. I look
at her. She's like, no, I think we should go.
I'm like, oh, okay, let's go. I think We're there
twenty minutes.
Speaker 1 (59:55):
It was great, perfect And then the next day on Friday,
Rich had his party, but my neighbors had a party
down the street. And she was like, I was like,
let's go to rich house. But richest party is the
thirty minute drive from our house, right, So I drove
instead to our neighbor's house, which is on the same street,
so I drove there, she got out, we went to
the party, had a great time. Short again, short amount
of time, so we couldn't go to Riches's party because
(01:00:16):
it was too far. And now I think she was
too tired. But I really wanted to go to your party.
Speaker 4 (01:00:20):
We'll have it in your in your neighbor's house next year.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
I mean, it's funny because you had this party now
where I guess you had a last year at your house.
Kyle and Peyton lived close to you, and now you
moved to thirty minutes away from everybody I know.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Well, Stacy's got like her little event venue now, and
she's like, why don't we just do it there because
we don't have to clean up anything at our house.
And so I thought it was weird seeing my neighbors
that live next door to me at the venue because
they had to drive forty five minutes and early. You know,
we like you if we comed that far just to
hang out. But you know, I thought it was great.
(01:00:53):
But we've overdone it now now because everything Stacey does
has got that you know, elevated element to it. I
don't think it can be overdone. I think we need
to stop having the parties. Now, this can't top it.
You just can't top the food.
Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
So then she wanted to go to We went to
go get something to eat for breakfast yesterday, right, So
she Blake goes, we go to this restaurant, we have breakfast.
She's doing okay. She goes, can we go to the
grocery store to get some groceries? And I said, do
you feel up to that? She goes, yeah, yeah, yeah
I can. I think I can do that. So we
go to the grocery store. I park and as we're
walking in the grocery store, she sees people she knows
in the parking lot. Then she she's the guy that
(01:01:26):
collects all the cars, so she knows she has to
talk to him. Then we go to the grocery store.
She knows every single person in the grocery store. Then
she knows the person that's stuck in the vegetable she
has to talk to them. Then we go to check out.
She knows the cashier. I'm like, let's just go to
self checkout. Then she knows the lady's helping everybody's self checkout.
And now we were there like an hour and a
half and she just wanted to get a couple of
things in safe way, but she knows every single person there.
Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
I'm glad she's doing well.
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
She's doing really really real. So Peyton, last week checked
you got engaged, you got a ring, The ring took
six months to get sized, seven weeks, then you got
it back and then diamonds fell out. Correct, what's the
latest with that? Because you were also holding off on
your engagement photos.
Speaker 6 (01:02:04):
Exactly because I wanted my ring to be absolutely perfect
for our engagement pictures. So over the weekend, Kadeem and
I we actually took them, so that was really exciting.
My maid of honor and my best friend Kelsey, she
took them and we took them in Agritopia, which is
the neighborhood that I grew up in, so super special
to me. It was really awesome. But your friend Derek
john Jay actually helped me out at Christopher Fine Diamonds.
(01:02:28):
He got my diamond replaced and then he was checking
it out and apparently over the last six months I've
been very heavy handed and whacking it around because I
broke a couple prongs and he was like, yeah, you
definitely would have had more diamonds fallout so he fixed
it all up. It looks absolutely like amazing and stunning. Yes,
do you guys want to see some of the sneak
peaks that I have on the pictures, I'll post them.
(01:02:52):
So here was one of the This one really highlights
the ring. It's like a picture of me and Kadem kissing.
He did not want to kiss me. That was his
like number one thing. He was like, I don't want
to take pictures, and I was like, well, I do
so cute, so take one. And then here was the
other one. I'm wearing this like long white dress. He's
wearing these brown trouser kind of shirt. I mean that
was kind of the pictures.
Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
Your friend a professional photographer.
Speaker 6 (01:03:14):
No, she's a really good camera.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
I'll just look really good for me.
Speaker 6 (01:03:18):
And those are unedited, like those are just like the
raw photo. So I'll post them on our at John
Jay and rich on Instagram so you guys can see them.
But we're super happy with them. We're still gonna go
with the vintage photo booth as the save the dates,
but we'll probably use these just for us to have
or maybe for the wedding.
Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
Invitser, did you do your hair and makeup? Professionally I did.
Speaker 6 (01:03:35):
I did my trials, so I did my makeup and
I was super happy with it. I'm gonna do it
again because I want to try like a more dewey look.
But I feel like I ran into like my worst nightmare.
So I got my hair done. I have curly hair,
super curly hair, and it's kind of difficult to manage.
If you mess with it too much, it gets frizzy
and messy and like a rat's nest. So I was
really excited to go and get my hair done. Went
(01:03:56):
to a curly hair girl, not the girl that's gonna
do it for my wedding, but a curly hair specialist,
and I walked out thinking like, dang, I could have
done this, Like I really felt like I took one
hundred dollars and like put it down the garbage disposal
and like shred it up all my.
Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
Money and you didn't like how she did hair or
what it just.
Speaker 6 (01:04:11):
It wasn't that I didn't like it, it was just
I felt like I could have done that at home.
And what made it worse is that KaDee knew I
was going to get my hair done, so when I
get home, he was like what'd you do? And I
was like, oh nice. And then I go my mom
knows him getting my hair done. I walk into her
house and she's like, I thought you were getting your
hair done. I was like, oh great, So it wasn't just.
Speaker 5 (01:04:30):
In my head.
Speaker 6 (01:04:30):
It really was just that bad.
Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
So wait, how do you have your hair for the pictures?
Speaker 6 (01:04:37):
I have a before and after, so I'll show you
guys that too. So here was how I walked out
of the salon.
Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
Okay, can I put it up?
Speaker 6 (01:04:44):
She just pulled it back in up, left some couple
like hairs down, and then this is how I did it.
It just looks like a little bit more clean, a
little bit more sleek.
Speaker 5 (01:04:53):
So I ran out your hair done and then had
to go home and fix your.
Speaker 6 (01:04:56):
Hair exactly, no, exactly, which I feel like is like
everyone's worst nightmare were you're going through your trial. But
that's why we did it right, so I know that's
not what I want.
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
That's not your hair personal.
Speaker 6 (01:05:05):
Yeah, but she was super awesome and really good, just
not I was just bummed. I was like, dang it,
I think this was my first like I almost went Bridezilla.
Speaker 5 (01:05:13):
Well that's so funny because I remember I did a
hair trail before my wedding and I hated it. And
I was like, I'm just doing my own hair for
my wedding and that's where I'm not right now.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
So you did it. You did your own hair. Wow.
I think it's impressive because you hear about hair and
makeup all the time exactly exactly.
Speaker 6 (01:05:27):
But I think I might just have to do mine too,
teach the No, I would not do my own makeup.
Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
Did Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Who did it?
Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
Her name is Crystal and she's one of my sister's
friends from high school. She actually works with one of
your hair girls, the hair by Christy, she or Chrissy.
She works with her like in la and stuff and
does at all make up and stuff. I was like, Oh,
that's a cool collap.
Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
I think you got so you did your hair one
hundred dollars. I think you got a way cheap Kyle,
which she pays for her hair.
Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
Oh yeah, definitely, definitely, But like Kyle looks like a supermodel.
Speaker 1 (01:05:56):
When she leaves the Swan, we get some entertainment news campaign,
got stuff an aeron to Grande Ray j Muri Carrey.
We'll get to that next. John Jay and Rich check
in with John Jay and Rich You hit the top back,
mic I saw this poll that everyone wants Postlone to
(01:06:16):
play a super Bowl because he crushed it. That Thanksgiving
is pretty good, Like there's literally they want to overturn. Oh,
by the way, that movie I'll tell you guys about
on Netflix with with Zoe Kravitz and Butler Aussa. Butler
also has bad Bunny in it.
Speaker 5 (01:06:29):
Oh really, does he do a good job?
Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
At least?
Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
Does it good?
Speaker 6 (01:06:32):
And Happy Gilmore too?
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
He does a good job. Yeah, but he's got this
more acting than what he did a Happy Gilmore Like,
this is a lot more acting. But anyway, what else
is going on? Entertainment news campaign?
Speaker 5 (01:06:40):
But wasn't a super happy Thanksgiving for ray j. He
was arrested early Thanksgiving a morning on suspicion of making
criminal threats to his estranged wife, Princess Love. It was
a heated argument. Kids were involved. It was a complete mess.
After he was released, he was saying his time while
in jail was pretty miserable.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
I just got out of jail. That's not cool. Jail
was not okay, bro, just arguing with this in jail,
I'm trying to survive in there. Bro in there bro
under his big bro. It was crazy almost beat there
is big bro talking about ray J. Ray J, it
was a lot never go to jail, y'all. It was
(01:07:19):
really bad.
Speaker 5 (01:07:20):
He was basically saying his cell make got inappropriate. Oh God,
like Verry uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
The pictures of Diddy in prison, yes, with his gray hair, yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
And how he like got He basically paid for Thanksgiving
meal for all of the inmates there.
Speaker 5 (01:07:35):
It was like for a thousand people, he bought all
the thanks getting the fifty cent documentary. I know Diddy
comes out tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (01:07:41):
Insane because like fifty cent really does not like Diddy.
But with that ray J, did you guys see the
live video clips of it? Him and Princess Love are
like it was so insane, Like Princess Love is like
basically saying ray J pulled a gun on her on
this live which is why he went and got arrested
because they're fighting online for people to I was like,
this is so unhealthy, Like I loved Love and hip
(01:08:04):
hop when they were like huge stars on it, but
it was like it's gotten so toxic to this point.
Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
Absolutely, Oh sure, I know.
Speaker 6 (01:08:09):
But in good news for the Jonas Brothers fans. Nick Jonas.
He just announced his new solo album, it's called Sunday Best,
which is set to be released on February sixth of
next year. This is going to be his fifth solo
album and basically it's going to dive into his life
about it being a husband and a father and all
that kind of stuff. So I'm actually really excited about this.
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
I saw this Instagram post of this woman says. My
boyfriend says, he'll take me to Backstreet Boys at the
sphere if I can get one of the Backstreet Boys
to comment on this post. Okay, And on the post,
all the Backstreet Boys comment, Then New Kids on the
Block comments and invite her. Then all the Jonas Brothers
(01:08:47):
come and invite. All these bands are commenting and inviting
her to come to all their shows.
Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
Excellently.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
He's the coolest thing I've ever seen. One of the
cools have you ever seen on social media?
Speaker 5 (01:08:57):
I love stuff like that. Okay, So we saw Wicked
for good, Peyton and I. When we were talking about it,
we talked about how concerning our inner Grounde's look is
right now because you can see like the bones on
her clavical area and she's been hearing that all over
so much so she decided to post a throwback clip
of an interview that she did last year where she
(01:09:18):
didn't really mince her words about how she felt about
body shaming.
Speaker 1 (01:09:22):
It's something that is uncomfortable, no matter what scale you're
experiencing it on.
Speaker 6 (01:09:26):
Even if you go to Thanksgiving dinner and someone's granny says,
oh my god, you look skinnier, what happened?
Speaker 5 (01:09:31):
Or you look heavier, what happened.
Speaker 6 (01:09:32):
It's like, that is something that is uncomfortable and horrible,
no matter.
Speaker 5 (01:09:37):
Where it's happening, no matter the scale that's happening on.
Speaker 6 (01:09:40):
And I think in today's society there's a comfortability that
we shouldn't have commenting on others' looks. And I just
don't invite it in anymore. It's not welcome.
Speaker 5 (01:09:50):
I've worked to do so I don't leave space for
it anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:09:54):
Not today.
Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
She's absolutely right, she really is. Yeah, for sure, Yeah,
Sabrina Carpenter. She has celebrated the end of her Short
and Sweet tour, and it was so funny. She did
a TikTok trend or she kind of gave us a
little behind the scenes speak of some of the fun
things that she did on tour, and one of the
things that she did during her show she would take
a shot of tequila, but basically her crew you didn't
know if it was tequila or water. So she played
(01:10:18):
a fun little game with herself during that show, which
I thought. I was like, I love it when artists
show was like the behind the scenes of some of
our favorite moments.
Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
So that is pretty fu cute. Yeah, we'll get to
see the behind the scenes of Taylor Swift's tour coming
up here pretty soon. I think it's like midnight December
twelfth is when it get released. But she is getting married,
and the rumor was she was getting married in Rhode Island,
And now from what I'm hearing, is becoming somewhat of
a logistical nightmare because Taylor Swift's guest list keeps growing
and growing, and like they just want to invite everyone,
(01:10:46):
They want everyone they know to be a part of
this amazing day. So now where it has it, Rhode
Island isn't totally out of the picture for maybe a smaller,
more intimate ceremony, but they're in talks to do a
much larger one and possibly on Richard Branson's island.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Yeah, that road are we We sailed by that island
on our honeymoon, my wife and I.
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
It's been around, it's been around for a minute.
Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
That's where Prince Princess Diana and who's the dude Charles
had their honeymoon.
Speaker 6 (01:11:15):
Dude exactly because Princess Diana.
Speaker 5 (01:11:19):
Is the better was the thing right there? I mean,
no word yet, but they were like thinking, well, I mean,
a full island could definitely host all of the people
she wants to host. The meantime stranger things just came out.
But Millie Bobby Brown says, hey, guess what my name
is no longer Millie Bobby Brown.
Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
She has changed it brown Brown.
Speaker 6 (01:11:39):
Just drop the brown, drop the Bobby, drop the brown.
It's just Millie Bonnie. So there you go. Interesting because
I saw that clip that it was like Millie Bobby
Brown is just for a stage name. That her real
middle name is Bonnie. So now she's going back to
Bonnie Donnie bon Jovi.
Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
Yep, over the English accent. I said, Kyle of you
from the guy from the Beast in Me, the mean
guy and the Beast of Me. He's he's in hell.
I was like, what too, what what you guys?
Speaker 5 (01:12:08):
I feel like I've seen him in other things and
I did not know he had that accident was so
very wild. Jenna Ortego. She sounds exactly how she would
think she was.
Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
She was she was.
Speaker 5 (01:12:19):
She was talking about artificial intelligence, and you know a
lot of people in Hollywood are kind of freaked out
because AI has gone extremely realistic when it comes to
like just making videos out of nowhere, like I mean,
John Jay, that sore app. It's like you're like put
me on the moon and you're like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
People, thanksgiving the floats over the weekend, I did see.
Speaker 5 (01:12:42):
So if you want to know how Jenna or Taga
feels about AI, it's not great.
Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
Also, just like ass as human, we have ten of
the scenes just I always take things too far and
I think it's very easy.
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
The terrified I know I am, And it kind.
Speaker 6 (01:12:55):
Of feels like we've oken up Pandora's box in a way.
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
There's certain things that just isn't able to replicate.
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
And yes, there's beautiful difficult take.
Speaker 6 (01:13:05):
Mistakes and a computer can't do that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
Computers no soul.
Speaker 5 (01:13:11):
So she's like, you know, it's the humanness in humans
that will be what gets Ai.
Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
See We're human here on the show. Guaranteed guaranteed humans here.

Speaker 7 (01:14:26):
It is not.
Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
It is not a train.
Speaker 1 (01:14:28):
It is not a team. You're looking for the dark? Perfect? Oh, okay,
all right, so zero points.
Speaker 6 (01:14:36):
It's like, but the titles I know.
Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Well, I mean god speed rich An.
Speaker 5 (01:14:44):
The dust bang it back to.
Speaker 10 (01:14:51):

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):

Speaker 5 (01:14:56):
Good job?
Speaker 4 (01:14:59):
I thought I was needed.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
No, you're good, Aaron.
Speaker 11 (01:15:02):
Aaron was correct that the name of the song is
shivers Shiver, So we'll give it to her. She said
it without about being prompted.
Speaker 6 (01:15:09):
You gotta be quicker than Aaron.
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
All right, way to go eron. You get one point baiton.
Speaker 6 (01:15:16):
This one with Taylor Swift. I just want to know
you better, know.
Speaker 5 (01:15:21):
You better, know you better.
Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
I just want to know.
Speaker 11 (01:15:26):
It is fun just to repeat what was what was
just said. That is what Taylor Swift and we were
looking for, know you better. Everything has changed, right, You
guys are nailing it today.
Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
Kyle, that is of course my good Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
The name of that song is sing sing Yeah, rich
can you play the first part? Alright? So she hasn't
gone yet, but she does have one point. It's her
turn now killing us a heading into round two will
(01:16:25):
kick things off of John Jay. Sounds like Jennifer lok
is on the floor. Okay, Sharon on the floor. It
is that sharing you're looking for his you're getting there,
(01:16:45):
you work it out. Azzizo is the name of that song.
Speaker 6 (01:16:51):
That's the one he does on the loop.
Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
Sure, I thought I knew a whole bunch of it,
sharing to I'm getting smoke. I don't know them. Well, oh,
I mean, you guys are doing great. Don't worry about it.
Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Rich, they say she's in the cross e.
Speaker 1 (01:17:12):
This song started first on my iPod for many years
because I say, I.
Speaker 6 (01:17:16):
Think a lot of people that I think that's said
Churan's best song personally, his first.
Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
Single, very first single ever bold I let disagree with you.
Speaker 6 (01:17:26):
Okay, Well, there's the reason he is the ed cher.
Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
It is because of eighteen okay, fine. One point for
Rich Peyton.
Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
Out of touch O.
Speaker 6 (01:17:39):
You up when talking amount of love?
Speaker 11 (01:17:46):
Out of touch you're getting closer and closer of course,
looking everybody at one time three two one Lego House.
That song is called Lego out, yes, ma'am, okay, no
points for painting in this game, Kyle.
Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
People fall in love and.
Speaker 3 (01:18:08):
Us ways.
Speaker 1 (01:18:10):
Maybe this is his best song.
Speaker 5 (01:18:13):
Oh that's like the winning one.
Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Now it is the wedding one.
Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
Perfect?
Speaker 11 (01:18:21):
Yeah, no, it's not perfect. Perfect was John Jay's first
clue re uh thinking out louds.
Speaker 5 (01:18:33):
It's the titles.
Speaker 11 (01:18:35):
I mean, let me tell you, guys, Aaron is already
in the lead. She can smoke you right now with
one the lead. She has two awesome.

iHeart radio free. Never said it's so good, Aaron.
Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
Wentz all right, yes, thank you guys.
Speaker 10 (01:19:05):
I'm so excited and.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
You're clearly an insured family can tell a huge Sharon Fana.
We're setting you have to go see him State Farm
Stadium next year, so hold online. Okay, thank you, thanks
for listening. We also got tickets every single day. Kyle,
let's come up with three things you need to know.
Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
I'll tell you the thing that is holding you back
if you're trying to curb your social media addiction. Next
with John Jay, Henriett Up, you're.
Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
Up is John Jay and Rich. Kyle's got three things
we need to know.
Speaker 5 (01:19:33):
We always hear about how bad social media is for you,
and in a new study, they actually found while so
many people feel addicted to Instagram and all the socials,
only about two percent actually meet the criteria for a
true addiction. But apparently, just having the thought that you're
addicted to social media makes it harder to quit social
(01:19:54):
media just the thought this is how strong and powerful
your brain is. Because they also found that when people
framed social media is just a habit, they could quit
it much easier. So just like just don't say like
you don't have the kitchen, It's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
You're good.
Speaker 1 (01:20:10):
So your mind is the key to your mind is
blocking you? Yes, wild, I know.
Speaker 5 (01:20:15):
The twenty twenty six at Winter Olympics will introduce eight
new events, including three ski mountaineering races, men's and women's
dual moguls, freestyle skiing, women's doubles luge, mixed gender skeleton
team event. Not really sure exactly what that is, but
it sounds kind of fun. In Halloween. Women's large hill
ski jump are also joining lineup. So the new games
(01:20:37):
are supposed to make it more exciting. They kick off
February sixth, which the Olympics sounds so far away, but
February sixth is like tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:20:45):
Basically, I thought they were going to say they're going
to do break dancing again, We're trying to winter.
Speaker 5 (01:20:50):
That would actually, that would actually make it a lot
more interesting. If you feel like you need a little
boost in mental health, and you've thought maybe you want
to pick a pickleball? Now is definitely the time check
this out. They actually did a study on pickleball people
and they found those who played pickleball three or more
times a week report noticeably better mental wellbeing than those
(01:21:11):
who play less. So that number three times a week
was the magic combination for higher mood, energy, overall happiness.
Pickleball can make you happy. So if you've been thinking, hey,
how am I going to start this new year off
right with some exercise, maybe pickleball is your thing. And
that's three things you.
Speaker 6 (01:21:27):
Need to know.
Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
I heard they're more injuries in pickleball than almost any
other support.
Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
That makes a lot of sense because you probably aren't
stretching before you go out there.
Speaker 6 (01:21:35):
It's like an easy sport.
Speaker 1 (01:21:35):
What's up with your injury? Rich because you pull the wagon.
Speaker 4 (01:21:38):
By the way, I felt so seen watching Kevin Hart's
Companies special talks about taking off running and tearing his abductors.
Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
That's a good.
Speaker 4 (01:21:46):
Special, It's really Kevin Hart is awesome in same thing
with a sebassion mount of skalcom talking about hurting his
knee too. So I feel like I'm in good company.
But all this break, all I did pretty much was
watch Wicked and go to rehab physical rehab.
Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
So, well, you did the acupuncture and you said it
we're pain. Did you do acupuncture too. I did do accupucture.
Speaker 6 (01:22:06):
I thought it actually worked really well. But I feel
like I may have acupunctured something wrong in my ankle
because now my ankle feels all funking weird, and that's
what's hurting me.
Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
Now.
Speaker 5 (01:22:16):
I don't know what's going on, Like they stabbed a
wrong needle somewhere.
Speaker 6 (01:22:18):
Maybe I don't know where, maybe it was like already inflamed.
I don't know. But I got foot reflexology and like,
that is amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
That's that's supposed to hurt. Though. Did it hurt?
Speaker 6 (01:22:28):
Yes, Like the first time I did it, it was
almost unbearable pain. But then the second time I went,
I was like, oh, whatever they did problem was to
help because it didn't hurt that bad.
Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Because if you really follow the rules of reflexology, like
you can hit Like my wife, her feet hurt. She
has me massage her feet. So the massaging part she's like,
oh my god, that hurts, Like where does that hurt?
And it hurt in her reproductive area, which is where
she had the surgery. Oh wow, So it's like that's
that's how it works, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:22:52):
My acupunctures. You told me that I need to yin
my yang. So I've been telling everyone that. They're like,
you're in a good mood. I'm like, yeah, I'm yanning
my ag.
Speaker 5 (01:23:00):
So just one there yang.
Speaker 6 (01:23:02):
Basically, I guess he like explained to me what yin
and yang was and how yin is like hot and
yang is cold, and how I'm using ninety percent of
my energy in my brain and that's why, like I
get super hot when I'm asleep because I'm overheated. And
he says that I need to yin my yang and
cool everything down. So I'm doing that. I don't know
exactly what.
Speaker 5 (01:23:20):
That is, okay, but it's a vibe.
Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
Borderline started to get obsessed with this woman. She is
a Harvard professor, and I've been seeing her make the
rounds on podcasts and stuff. She was on Huberman's podcast,
Who's on No Robin's podcast, and she's it's all about
the mind and body, how they're won and how powerful
they are. And you can heal yourself with your mind
if you have the right thoughts, and he asked somebody
asked her about acupuncture, and she says she doesn't believe
(01:23:46):
in it. She goes because she calls it a placebo,
but she goes, but she does believe in the fact
that you are going to get acupuncture to get better.
So your mind thinks you're going to get better, so
healing itself.
Speaker 6 (01:23:57):
Boy, the placebo effect is working.
Speaker 4 (01:24:00):
It works.
Speaker 1 (01:24:00):
She said the police was the most powerful thing in
the world. I think you're getting it and your body
heals itself.
Speaker 4 (01:24:05):
It's pretty dang amazing. When she you, I wish I
rememb her name was like Laura something, but she's this
not just not obsessed, just borderline, borderline. Well, I've listened
to two in one interview with there was three hours long.
I listened the whole thing and the hour and a
half and I listened all that, and it's all about
your mind.
Speaker 1 (01:24:21):
Langer. I think he's last name Laura Langer. She's amazing.
Like part of the I listened, I'm like, may'd be
kind of cool to interviewer, but I'm not smart enough
infew I would not want her in here. She'd get
up and leave.
Speaker 4 (01:24:32):
So if you're offering the interview no thank you passed like.
Speaker 1 (01:24:36):
They did the same way. They took all these old
people that were like and she there, let's say they're
like they were like one hundred years old, and they
put them in a in an area that was like
popular when they were in their sixties, and they all
immediately and a week started acting healthier because their mindset,
their mind was felt younger. There were in an environment
(01:24:56):
of when they played different music, different TV shows when
they were younger, and they you started acting, they started
their body was just different.
Speaker 5 (01:25:02):
I think that's so true. I think your mind really
is a powerful thing kind of along those lines, but
on the opposite how your brain can like affect how
you are. There was something I was watching. I think
it was like just an Instagram reel or something where
this guy was like they did a study and they
brought all of these young people in and they they
were like, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna put
like a huge scar on your face, and you're gonna
(01:25:23):
go out and you're gonna see if people treat you
any differently. And so they put the scar on their
faces and he's like, what happened before these kids left?
Is the makeup ours like, hold on, I have to
touch something up. And she actually took the scar off,
but they didn't know that there wasn't a scar off.
And they left there and they came back and they
were like, oh, I was treated.
Speaker 1 (01:25:42):
Terribly and there was no scar.
Speaker 5 (01:25:47):
So it's like, really is a powerful thing.
Speaker 1 (01:25:50):
Okay, So here's another study. This lady says she took
what the cleaning ladies from hotels, right, let's say it
was one hundred cleaning ladies. And they asked him if
they exercise, and then they said no, they didn't have
time to actually always cleaning, so they took half the
cleaning ladies. They said, hey, we just want to let
you know that when you're vacuuming, that's you're doing this exercise.
When you're doing making the sheets and making the bed,
you're doing this exercise very similar to the exercise in
(01:26:10):
the gym. And they go really, they go yeah, So
they tested and they tell the other group, you're not exercising.
They went back to work. They did the exact same
thing the group where they told them that what they're
doing at work is exercise, lost weight, lost inches, and
none of them changed their diet the group where it
was going to work stayed the same.
Speaker 5 (01:26:28):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
The mind, you guys, the mind mind, wow, the minded body. Actually,
that's this whole This lady, her whole thing is not
about that. They're not separate, they're one, the mind and body.
Speaker 4 (01:26:38):
Is well, it's I mean, she's right on time because
people are really screwed up right now.
Speaker 6 (01:26:41):
Seems like they all need to.
Speaker 1 (01:26:45):
That's what it comes back to. Anyway, you can always
text us, text JJR anything that's on your mind to
nine six eight ninety three.
