Thank you for coming out to the Love Pup Family
Face this weekend. It was great event. We had over
eight thousand people. I know a lot of dogs have
got adopted. I'll have that number in a couple of days.
But it was awesome. So thank you for listening, Thanks
for coming out the Bertuccio Farms, Thank you Leerner and Row,
thank you McCarthy, Love It Discover. All our sponsors were awesome.
So Peyton's been looking for another job.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I guess I don't think that's fair side hustle.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
I was gonna say, I'm definitely looking for another job.
I think I was just looking for something to add
to my plate. So a couple of weeks ago, I
told you guys that I had interviewed and applied and
did like a live audition for the Valley Suns, which
is the g league of the Phoenix Suns. And it
was for an in arena like host, so basically the
person that hypes up the crowd when there's timeouts or
(00:45):
breaks or lulls or whatever, and you're kind of just
in it right right, And so I found out on
Friday and I didn't get it. I know, I know,
not gonna lie I'm in my feelings about it. I
was pretty upset. I was with Kitty, my fiance, and
we were just in the car, and I like, I
found out because I was stalking their instagram for like
the last two weeks like a mad person, just like
(01:08):
looking to see because I hadn't heard anything, and I
was just like waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, and I
was like super eager about it.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I was really excited.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
And so I found out, and it was like right
before I was about to go to my little brother's
birthday party, and I was like, I like, so don't
want to go to this birthday party anymore. Like I
was so bummed. And then I just told myself, I
was like, no, you know what, this fifteen minutes from
my house to my brother's birthday party. I'm gonna allow
myself to feel bad for myself for this fifteen minutes
and then we're done. And it kind of just lit
(01:36):
like another fire in me because rejection is good, you know.
And I feel like I'm in my feelings because the
first like this is the first time I think in
a really long time that I haven't gotten something that
I really really really wanted, and so I was, in
my feelings not it. But no, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
So did they post on their Instagram who got the job?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
So how do you know you didn't get it?
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Because I stalked the person who did get it.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Oh and they're doing Yeah, okay, So why.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Don't you think they hired that person over you?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I don't know. And I had told you guys when
I was telling you about it that I felt like
it could have definitely been between the two of us.
Like she was really good, she was super polished, she
definitely had more of the like an arena hosting experience
than I did. Like by far, I mean like she well, yeah,
but you know who knows. You never know sometimes, so
I mean rightfully deserved. Good for her, you know, but
(02:25):
I still.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Am kind of Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
No, I would have gone with you if I was
those Suns people, I would have like, look, I hate
the potential in the future and knowing that the marketing
that you would give them by being on this show.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Hey, Like that part doesn't make sense to.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
What it's not meant for me isn't meant for me.
So I'm just taking it with a grain of salt.
I'm gonna allow myself to let this light of fire
under me, and I just like, and I think that's
just the competitor in me, Like I just want to
like just show every like I want to show you up.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Are also your experience.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Maybe you need to start off hosting middle school basketball
have time shows.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Hey, if any middle school or high school who would like.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
To have it and hype up your school? Yeah, over
to Ingleside middle school halftime.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Show coaches at a high school. She could just do
double duty. She could be like, Okay, here's the play.
All right, Hold on a second, I gotta throw some
Tess out of the shirt.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
It's my favorite, it's my favorite. Well, you know what
they say this or something better, So that means something
better might just come along.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, I'm allowing myself to I'm trying to be a
lot more positive I think on things in life lately.
So yeah, exactly, I'm just chilling
