Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sarah called early this morning. I was all by myself
and here on my birthday, waiting for balloons and stuff,
and there was nothing.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
So I saw the phone swing in and I was like, oh, hi,
good morning, John Jay Rich.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
It was Sarah and she was calm because Sarah had
a story about something to do with how Jenna was
in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Sarah, what happened to you in Vegas?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
So I almost got kidnapped?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
What dang?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah. So when I turned twenty one, I was in
a toxic relationship. I wasn't quote unquote allowed to go
out drinking and partying. So when I turned twenty two,
I was like kind of dating this girl who was
playing for the LPGA, and she took me to Vegas
with some of her friends. We went to Vegas, I
got We went to Hakkasan at or I don't know
how to say it, at MGM, and I got really drunk,

(00:44):
probably ten minutes in, and they kicked me out because
I said I was going to throw up because I
felt like I was going to throw up, So they
kicked me out, and my friends were like, okay, we'll
call you an uber. They didn't even take me to
the uber, so I'm finding my way to the Uber
pick up and this random guy he's like it's real nice,
Like he had like gold chains on, and he was
not American. He was foreign. He didn't speak great English.

(01:06):
He grabs me, throws me in his raine robe front seat.
He's like, I'm your Uber, I'll take you. So then
he's driving me and he's like, i'll take you to
your hotel, but let's go fight seeing. And I'm like,
I'm you know, I was not all there, so I
was like, okay, whatever. So then we're driving. We passed
my hotel. I was staying at the Mirage, which is
like pretty centered on the strip. And we're driving, driving, driving,

(01:27):
and we get to the end of the strip and
we're like over by the Las Vegas sign that's like
kind of away from the strip, and I was like,
I'm going to throw up. You need to stop. So
he pulls over where the Las Vegas sign is and
he like kicks me out of his range rover because
I was going to throw up all over the place.
Next thing you know, I'm in the ambulance. I had
like stiletto heels on. Apparently I was trying to fight

(01:49):
with my stiletto heels, so they took my shoes from me.
I woke up in the hospital the next day, like
totally unaware what was going on or what was happening.
Apparently they said they found me at the Las Vegas sign,
just thrown up on the side of the road, and
they took me and like, thankfully my stomach didn't have
to be pumped, but I was. I was blacked out
at that point, so I don't really remember much after
he kicked me out of his car.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
That is terrible, scary. So what about the girls that
you were with that just left you stranded? Because I
kind of had not a kidnapping story, but a similar
story in Vegas, And I don't talk to the girls
that left me stranded, women golfers.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
The one girl, the one girl I mean, who were
like kind of dating, not publicly because I don't think
she was out yet or I don't know if she
is now, but we were kind of dating. Sound like girl,
you're supposed to be taking care of me. I didn't
really know her friends very well, but the next morning
they had said, like we tried to like file a
police report and call you and text you. I had

(02:43):
no missed calls or text I was like, whatever, but
I don't talk after that trip, I like we all
drove back in like silence. I have my I have
not talked to them since.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Yeah, I mean that's terrible.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
So it's not happened to Thank God you're safe.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
So had I not like probably gotten ready to throw up,
who knows where I would have been. He would you know,
he probably wouldn't kicked me out of his range robe.
He would have just kept riving. I would have gone.
It was. It was fun though, you know, and I've
gone to Vegas and had a great time to stink
at it.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Now, what if he was taking you some beautiful mansion.
He was gonna give you a bunch of money and say, hey,
just have fun weekend here, man, take.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
My car, have a great tib take the private jet home.
Take the private jet home.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I know I should have. You know, had I not
been so drunk, I probably could have found out.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
But you can call us in the back of a
range over right now.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, that's a crazy story. It's almost like it's very
similar to the hangover.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah. I mean it was definitely a hangover experience, and
not knowing I I ubered back to my hotel and
then I spent the whole day at the pools drink
and again not as not as much.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Well, thank you for sharing that story with us. You,
thank you for listening.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Bye, Hello, good morning, John Jaye Rich.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Who's this?

Speaker 6 (04:15):
Hi? This is Colleen. How are you good?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Hi? Colleen? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (04:19):
I was catching up on podcasts and I heard people
calling in with news from high schools, and I have
four of them. If you guys are.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Interested in hearing you have four high schools.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
I have one, My really really good friend had one.
I'll tell you so my high school. I don't want
to say a ton of detail about this. My high
school was a group of people who did armed robberies
and there was accidentally a murder and it was on

(04:51):
America's Most Wanted And I looked it up when you
guys were, you know, talking about high schools, because I
was like, what happened to my high school? And I
looked it up and it looks like the main guy
did his time and he's moved, gone and changed his name.
So that's why I don't really want to say like
a ton about it. Right, Nobody was charged with the
murder though they there just were no witnesses, so it

(05:15):
just came down to that. But my connection on that
one when my best friend had made out with one
of the guys. Okay, next one, I got one of
my good friends moved out of the area and that
her high school. You can look this one up. There
was a murder and probably drugs and and it's involved.

(05:37):
The victim was Kipling Davis is her name, and her
body was never recovered and this was a very long
ongoing thing in the news in Utah, in Salt Lake
City and she was down in Spanish work and it's
actually really sad. I think her dad just released the book.

(05:58):
You know, they're just begging to find out where her
body is.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
So that's terrible. Positive stories of why your high school
is in the news.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
You're gonna like this one. Risk. My mom went to
Pasadena High School. She missed the van Halen brothers, but
my uncle is younger than her and went to school
with Van Halen brothers.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
That's pretty big.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
And so he would go to high school parties where
the van Halen Brothers would be playing. And I asked him,
you know David Lee Roth, and who was the singer.
I think he was just too enjoying things that were
going on in the parties. But he said he doesn't
know when you know, David Lee Ross joined them, but

(06:40):
that was his and then my last one. You know,
I only had one high school. But herefore, my grandpa
went to Hollywood High and he you went to the
school in the thirties, I guess mid thirties, nineteen thirties,
and he went to school with Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney,
and so Judy Garland would leave school to go over

(07:04):
to the film lot to film The Wizard of Off.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
That's pretty good. That's pretty big. But you got how
kinds of cool? Those are good? Those are very good.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Thank you so much for say because we were talking
about how did your high school end up in the news.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
That's very cool. Thank you, have a great day. Thank
you for listening. Thankay, bye bye
