Speaker 2 (00:41):
Kyle, how was family picture Day?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
You guys, I just feel like I have like a
huge weight lifted now that it's over with. I like, literally,
down to the minute before we had to leave, I
was putting together outfits for everyone and trying to be together.
And I can't say I love like how it turned out.
Like I definitely looked at Scott and said, please don't
let me procrastinate this next year, like, please just remind

(01:05):
me of the stress that we're.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Going through, so you need to work on next year's
outfits today.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
He literally said, start planning it right now then, because
you know eventually you're gonna wait till the last minute.
But we actually went to that Pecan Lakes. They have
a little like a botanical garden there or whatever, and
it's so pretty, and it was like once we got there,
the kids were happy.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Leading up to it, they were not happy.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
They were like family pictures and I'm like, it's gonna
be an adventure, It's gonna be so fun.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Instagram.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Sorry, you're like family picture day, everyone's favorite day of
the year. And then you flipped to Easton and he's
like so over it.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Okay, once we got there, they were actually like in
good spirits, but his face was like that because we
made a little friend. There was like a little duck
that came up to us, and we realized it was
because there's like a feeder where people can buy food
to like feed the ducks, and so I'm pretty sure
the duck thought that we had some food for him.
But Easton is not about mascots and he's not about
animals coming.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Up to him.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
And so where he was standing, pot was taking the
pictures of him, he was like, uh, he kept looking
over there.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
I'm like, just look at the camera.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I swear the duck's not coming to you.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I promise the duck's like you got any grapes.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Exactly, but end up turning out really good, and I hope,
I hope the pictures turn up really great.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Well, I saw the one thing open.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
I saw your stories too, but I saw the picture
of the video of Adding and Easton next to each other,
back to back, and I was like, man, those kids
are big.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I know, you know, they're big, still grown up, and
their outfits are very cute.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
So but the thing is what I liked about it
is that you didn't see your outfit of your husband's outfits,
so it's kind of like the mystery match.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Also, Kyle's were in kite cream, Like, what what's the mystery?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
And did you see the camera that like the actual
camera to see are there good ones in there that
you're like.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yes, honestly, Like, we've had the same photographer who's done
our family pictures literally for the last ten years, so
I never asked to look.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I just know she's gonna like do amazing when.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Do you get them? And we can you post something.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
She said that she was gonna put together a little
sneak preview because she's actually going out of town for Thanksgiving, and.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
It was she's so nice.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
She's like, I was gonna put a little gallery sneak
preview for you in case you want to like start
your Christmas card because.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You know the Black Friday ideals or when I like
to strike.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yes, so I pretty soon, I guess maybe at the
beginning of next week.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Well, in the meantime, if you go to Kyle's instagram
unfug at unfug, you can see the stories and maybe
we can put them up on John Instagram. So Peyton,
tell us how you reward yourself, Okay, so I think
it's important to reward yourself.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
It is I think so too. Yeah, And I'm like
really really bad at doing my laundry, and Kyle, you
might be able to relate to this too, because you
were just telling us the other day you had all
types of clothes all over the floor, right, It's almost
like overwhelming sometimes, Yes, So I have so much clothes
in my closet and I get to the point where
I like wear it all, and then like my laundry
bin is like overflowing, and then I'll do all the

(03:54):
loads of laundry, but then I don't like fold them
or put them away. They just end up on like
the couch, and then I laying on them, and then
I have to re wash them because then I feel
like they're dirty again, and then it's the whole thing.
But every now and then I get a little like
second wind in me and I'm like, I'm gonna put
my clothes away. I'm gonna hang up on my clothes.
And it literally takes me like an hour.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
To do it all.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
But every single time, I'm just like, I deserve a
sweet treat and I go drive to Sony.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I haven't. Literally last night after the pictures, I was like,
everyone deserves an award, and there's like a little pizza
and gelato place, gelato for everyone.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yes, what would he get?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Oh my gosh, I get a I get a blue
coconut cream slush.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Oh that sounds delicious. Sonic goes off. Man, it's so bomb.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I like their cream slushes. It's like half ice cream
and then half slushy.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Yes, so good.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
You know what's interesting about rewarding yourself is I also
do that, but it's usually spur the moment, and it's
kind of like I don't know if this makes sense.
It's like retroactive, like I'm somewhere and I'm not planning it.
All of a sudden there's like unlimited mac and cheese,
and I'm not gonna eat mac and cheese. I wasn't
planning to eat mac and cheese, but I want the
mac and cheese, so I'll scoop up the mac and cheese,

(05:06):
and in my brain I'll be like, well, I did this, this,
and this so I could go ahead and reward myself,
versus I did this, this, and this, I'm gonna go
I think I'll have mac and cheese tonight. It's more
like it's happening now. Let me find a reason to
reward myself. That's gonna you know what I mean, not
really because I eat the mac and cheese. In fact,
I bring this up because two days ago I was
having mac and cheese. There was I was at a
buffet and it was all you could eat mac and cheese,

(05:28):
and I was scooping the mac and cheese, and my
son Dutch like this mac and cheese is so good.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I was cud of my mouth was watering, and talking about.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
It, I was scooping the mac and cheese have to
put into a bowl, and I got bear hug from behind.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Hey man, what's up? But I got a big bear hug.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
So I put the ladle back down and ended up
now to eating the mac and cheese. And I looked
at it as if that was a sign from God saying,
chill out on the maca cheese.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
So what Peyton is talking about is rewarding herself. What
you were talking about is torturing yourself.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Yeah, yes, listening to the signs from the other side
mac and cheese.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Bro, it's very fad.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
You didn't do anything good.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
That's very catholic of you self punishing.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Anyway. So what else, what? How do you reward yourself
rich or do you not?

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Well? So I take my wife's approach, because I'll take
a bite of something and then that pretty much satisfied
to be food related. Well, if it is food, and
that is definitely like I like a sweet treat, but
I know I'm not supposed to have sugar, So I'll
take a bite and then I'll just be done with it.
A forkfole and then be done with it. And you know,
Stacy's lived her whole life that way, and she she

(06:30):
seems to look good like the thing she does. She
seems to have a balance about. I'm trying to learn
balance from her because normally I would look at a
pie and want to eat five slices.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Yeah, there's a pie leftover to catch it from the
poly and it's costcoat. But I love room temperature pie.
I just it's hard to not eat that py. Like
this morning, when I got up to there's a whole
bowl of grapes. I love grapes, and I was just like,
I should have some of those grapes.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
No, I can't have any.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
It's the moderation. Just have a little bit and then
you move on.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
And forget about it. I went hiking yesterday. It's my
new thing, hike.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
And after a hike, I wanted to go and get
a massage. But I don't really have a massage place,
so it's just an idea. But I thought I should
go get a massage right now. I'm gonna go reward
myself for the hike. But it didn't happen.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
You know what you should do.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
You should go to Prime IV get a drip which
you love, and you've been sit in one of their
massage chairs, but I don't want to.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Go anywhere to get a drip.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
He wants you to come to him. All right, that's
what I do. I get a drip on Monday. They're
coming to my house.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
See, you're rewarding yourself and punishing yourself.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
You wanted a massage, and I was thinking of combining.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Those Massage chairs are okay when you sit in them
while you're getting something done, but like to go and
just sit in a massage chair doesn't work for me.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
You don't say you get a drip while you do it.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
That's a great idea.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
I love that prime I v in fact, aren't you
doing it because you're sick or people are.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Sick around you?

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Everyone's dropping like flies.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Our boss was just sick, My son was just sick.
His teacher was sick for like the entire week. And
I just went to school at his school the other
day to volunteer to help with like the vision and
hearing screenings, and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
You need to do that.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I'll don today.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
They put me on the vision one, which I was like,
that's probably a smart choice because I am not the
greatest the hearing part. But literally they had like a
stack of papers of all the kids that were absent,
because it's like the flu's going.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
What if they put you on the hearing one but
you misheard and you went to the vision one.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
I guess you'll go to the vision one. Then I
guess he's over there.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
I guess we try to have her on the hearing one,
but she just walked in there.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
So I'm glad you're doing the IV stuff because I
remember in the beginning of my IV stuff trying to
get you to do it and you were like, now
you're all in on It's well.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Yeah, because and I didn't like because there's something Now
I'm gonna forget it again. Peyton, you were with me,
but there's something in the drip that I feel like
made me feel bad afterwards. And if they they, I
guess they mixed the drip with a different solution and
it helps.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Oh that's good. That's good. Prime IV good stuff.
