Speaker 1 (00:00):
Desiree has been sending me some dms on stuff going
on in her life, and then she sends me the
audio dms, you guys know, like like it's like a
talkback but it's on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah, and she has.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
So much personality and so many different things have happened.
I was like, can you just call in please?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
So Hi, Hi guys, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Good morning you guys.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Oh you are thank you, thank you. So if there's
ever been an ad d d M, it's Desiree. So
let's let it unfold. Desiree start from the beginning.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I was just going on and on and on. So
me and my family we uprooted to Payson from Tama, Arizona,
and we're in a very rural area, Like right now,
I'm watching goats pee in front of me and there's
elk on the side of the road. So we're over
in Payson in a really small community, and so we're exploring.

(00:50):
We're trying to go to Pine and we went to
the pie bar and Strawberry. I don't know if you
guys have ever been Yeah, oh my god, Like tell me,
we gained like ten pounds just because of moved over here.
Because the food is so good and everyone is so
nice until I posted a thing on this little Facebook
group and I just got bassed. I just got ripped apart,

(01:12):
and I was just so shocked. So what happened is
we've booked a hotel room right a little farther out
from where our house is right now, in our airbn
deep booked a hotel room. We said, you know what,
we probably shouldn't go because the day before it stormed
like crazy, like I'm telling you, like lightning on top
of our house, like my butt cheeks were rumbling, and

(01:33):
we were like up to the sky and then the
water shut off. We're like, what the heck is that?
All right, let's just go with it. We literally drove
to like the three different stores in town just to
buy a bunch of water. So we're like, okay, we
got to cancel this. They're long story short, they won't
refund the money. We're like, okay, whatever, Like, maybe we
can reschedule it for another day, even if we have
to came more. They said, no, they can't do it.
It's against their policy. No big deal. So I'm talking

(01:55):
to my husband and he's like, let's just give this
room away to somebody, maybe someone here in town didn't
have and they want to go to a hotel, right, Like,
who would want to take that up? At the free
hotel room? Right, You're thinking, it's gonna be like the
world of rules, We're gonna get you a free hotel room,
write a note of your choice. Freaky you want to
be so I posted right, and people are like, scam

(02:17):
You're a scammer. You're trying to steal everyone's credit card information.
I'm like, I'm literally not asking for one bit of
credit card information. Like all I need is an email
and a name, and I called the hotel. Then you
call them, and then you give them your credit card
information for incidentals only. That's all that it is. You
don't even need to payment for the room. Oh, she's

(02:39):
a scammer. I saw her the other day. She's totally
a scammer. Like, what do you mean you saw them here?
Where did you see me at work? There's only just
free praises to go, So neither they did. So it
was probably at the pie place. And it was just
weird because then a few days before that, a random
dog came into our property and when I supposed to

(03:00):
have to be dogs. Hence it's against the airbnb policy because
they're like bander and stuff, you know, and I'm super
alerted to dogs. Unfortunately, it's just like randomly came out
of nowhere. And so this dog, old dog looks like
he's just like maybe like he he has dimension of
his stick or something, and he smells like a skunk,
right right, So I let this dog come in. I'm

(03:21):
you know, taking care of it, feeding it, And then
all the other comments are like she's not a scammer.
She saved that dogs. Nice, she saved the dog.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
So I'm like.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Uh uh, and so now I'm banned from switch the
three days.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Oh your band it's almost like your real neighborhood, your face.
Everybody in your Facebook group was looking out the window
in your neighborhood and there's on Facebook going you say,
dog got you do whatever? Like you don't message the
people of Pacing, you do not miss.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's a very tight community, super.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Tight, and everyone's so nice. And I commented back kindly
with like everything, I'm like no, no, like how it works,
just like it's just I'm just giving them your email
and your phone number and you can call the hotel directly,
like I promise a nice scammer and someone just reported
me and I'm trying to file an appeal. Because this
is how we run our businesses through all these little
Facebook groups, because we do so much little we do

(04:10):
a much little fight things.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Is that your what is your business?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Our business? It's called you tell us, so basically, you
tell us what you need. So, for instance, we do
everything as a family. So if any elderly people in
the community need dom walking, or if they need someone
to go pick up their cowpou, we can do that.
We're making infused pickles which are really awesome. We're making
a fuse vodka. We're just doing like a bunch of

(04:34):
different things, like connecting basically like the liaison. If you
need something and you're out here in such a small community,
we connect you to where you need to go and
we don't even charge you a flat amount. If you
pay us whatever you want, or if it's someone that
really needs something, we'll just take a donation.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
You tell us, is it on Facebook? You search?

Speaker 3 (04:50):
You tell us I forgot Well I'm banned right now.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Wait a little while, Hey did you end up giving
the hotel room? Did you end of giving the who
tell room.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
To somebody or no, no, no one. I was like,
and then everyone was like, I really want to go,
but I need a babysitter. And I'm like, I know
you don't test me, but I will totally.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Watch your kid.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
I love babies, and they're gonna think I'm like a
creepy baby lady, like I need, I need to offer babysitting.
I'll watch your baby. You tell me.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
There's a great Taco Bell there and patient, by the way,
great Taco Bell we always.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
So we ordered. Since the whole time we've been out here, right,
we haven't ordered door Dash at all because I'm like,
we're saving money. We're just like living off the fat
of the land and cooking and we're working on opening
up our uber Are like our virtual Ubery restaurant. So
I've been cooking a ton. But Sunday we just we
just want ham. We went crazy, we want ham on

(05:44):
it and we were just like having dreams and hanging
out and like it, let's just order Taco Bell. Oh
my god. Next day is an instant regret that Taco
Bell is right next to the new dispensary and we've
been there. Yeah, you already know we were there like
two days ago.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
That is that where your mom lives. See Kyle's mom
lives there.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
She's the one on Facebook reporting you.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
You don't piss off Susan. Susan's over there. I swear
that's just all your mom. It's all your mom. Folly it.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
We don't need these people in pays and try to
help others.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I'll tell you what you need, all right, Desiree. We're
gonna check out with you every once in a while.
Thank you so much for calling in awesome.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Thanks guys.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
