Speaker 1 (00:00):
Colin Know.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Okay, guys, there is something we can look forward to.
Tomorrow's Starbucks Holiday cups arrive. Every year, everyone looks forward
to these things, and they are here tomorrow in stores. Also,
that's the day that Starbucks stops charging extra for non
dairy milk options, so that is fun there. The theme
this year is Merrier Together, which is I think a

(00:22):
great theme for right now. Starby says that their whole
holiday campaign relates to that. They say they're leaning into green,
but I saw a little preview, like you can google
what they look like. They're less green and more like Pestelli.
But I think they look great and I don't think
there's going to be any controversy around them this year,
which has been the case in the past. So, speaking
of the holidays, according to popular retailers like Target, Walmart,

(00:44):
and Amazon, they say these are the toys that top
most of kids holiday wish lists this year. So if
you want to if you haven't already started, or you're
looking for ideas, Peyton for your nephews, you know, for
my kids everyone, if you've got like a halt in
your idea, they say Disney's Crystal Surprise, hot Wheels, Lol,
Surprise Mermaids, Barbie stuff, Amazon delivery van right on, Like

(01:07):
it's a literal literally almost like you know what those
cars that kids can actually drive, but it's an Amazon
delivery van. I think that's pretty fun. Marvel Spidey stuff, ferbies, legos,
and hatche moles. Those are all pretty hot toys. You
can't go wrong with those. This is bananas, and I
can't believe they're actually doing this, and I don't think
it's a publicity stunt. They're actually doing this. So Fireball

(01:30):
Whiskey is releasing limited edition whiskey cryer Ball, And what
they're doing is this season, they have legit tier collectors
that are going to football games and when people's teams
lose and they're crying, they're collecting their tears. They're bringing
them back in sealed jars teardroppers, and they're sterilizing them

(01:52):
and distilling them into one of a kind cryer Ball Whiskeys.
They will be available for They'll be ready once they're distilled,
because it takes a long time, you know, they still
be the ready for the twenty twenty five twenty twenty
six football season.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
They say it's gonna be total like they're gonna sterilize them.
They say it's gonna be totally hygienic and it's gonna
make this whiskey actually so amazing.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
But I mean I.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Had the first reaction that you guys dance like grass.
I don't want to drink someone else's tears.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
That's weird.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
But we'll see how it will see how the turnout comes.
You know, twenty twenty five, twenty twenty six football season,
and that's three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Peyton Whyle, were you asking us about budget stuff?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yeah, I was wondering if you guys have any like
budget tips on like how to the keep money in
your bank account so you're not broke all the time.
Like I look up online and it's always like do
the envelope method where it's like you put one dollar
in a day and then two dollars the next day,
and I'm like, I don't have that kind of money
in my pocket.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Feet envelope method is tough because I think the envelope
method actually uses all cash, yeah, which I feel like
it's like hard to when you have like direct deposit
and you need to go to the bank and get
the cash out. That's kind of I've never been able
to do it. My husband's family, like his brother, they
do the envelope method and.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
They love it. They love it.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So you basically budget out. So let's say you give
yourself four hundred dollars a month for groceries, right, so
when you get your your check at the beginning of
the month, you put four hundred dollars in your grocery envelope.
And then when that's gone, you can't buy that anymore.
You done with your budget that I put it in
lope literal envelope cash. You bring cash to the store,

(03:32):
and that that stinks too, because it's like a lot
of the stuff you buys online. So that's why I
would find it to be a challenge, but a lot
of people really swear by that.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
The other thing I think for online, got to get
all the apps, the Honey app, all those apps in
run those codes, those discount codes. That it's a huge difference.
And then I would say, for you, because you eat
out a lot, you need to just be a happy
hour person.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
See I know. And that's actually like my problem because
I do. I hate cooking to the point where I'm like,
I want to go out and eat instead or just
go get Panda. But I was looking at like something
I know, but I like, I download all the apps
so I get all the discounts like I have to
or else it's just way too expensive for me. But
I downloaded. Like I was looking it up on TikTok,
and people were saying that if you take your bank

(04:12):
statement and you upload your bank statement to chat GPT,
that it'll break down your bank statement and help you
create your budget for like the next couple of months.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
That's cool. So you ways to save money, Oh you
did it?

Speaker 3 (04:23):
And what Yeah, well, I'm looking for ways to save
money and like ways to like keep track of the
money that I'm spending. But I did do the bank
statement one and it like broke down all my expenses
and it's like for groceries and like eating out. I
average like six hundred to seven hundred dollars a month.
On the people that's a lot. Well, they they do
have one like entertainment, so like way mow tequila is

(04:44):
on here, like alcohol roughly around two hundred a month.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Because I bet you if you stopped drinking for a month,
you'd be amazed how much money you saved.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, probably probas But like I've been trying to do
the thing where like I just go to like Total
Line and More and get like one of the big
bottles and then like I just drink a home if
I'm gonna have.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
See here's a start.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
That's that's a good way to go.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Yeah, or like I'll just go like pregame the function
so I don't have to get any drinks and I'm out.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
You know, you could say I'm going to eat out
one less day a month and see how that could.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Change things fealing like sweet and Low and napkins and restaurants.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I already jacked the forks from from Chipotle forks. You
have some needles forks
