Speaker 1 (00:00):
God, what are the three things we need to know?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Oxford Dictionary has picked brain rot for its word of
the year. It's not a new word at all. I
think it's over a century old. But they say usage
of brain rot rose by two hundred and thirty percent
this year. Basically means when your mental or intellectual state
breaks down as a result of the over consumption of material,

(00:22):
and they're blaming online content for that brain rot because
you're stuck on TikTok all day. I think we've all
kind of felt that, so kind of makes sense that.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
That would be the word of the day or year.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
So I would think winning a half a billion dollars
would be a great way to spend the holidays. Tonight's
Mega Millions jackpots up to five hundred and forty one
million dollars, which means if you took the one time
cash payout, it'd be two hundred and fifty eight million dollars.
Nobody's won the jackpot since September tenth, which is why
it's gotten to this point. It'd be a lovely Christmas present,

(00:55):
be a lovely present for your whole life. I don't
know if you guys have ever seen it, but there
was this piece of art that was really expensive and
it was literally just a banana taped to a wall,
sold for six million dollars by a billionaire named Justin's son.
He said, he's like, I gotta honor this by eating

(01:17):
the banana though in front of an audience in Hong Kong,
Justin ate his six million dollar banana that was duct
taped to the wall, adding another odd chapter to the
story behind this unconventional piece. I think if you wanted to,
you could just duct tape another banana to the wall.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Probably you see, the fender that sold the banana was
upset because he only got thirty five cents. This one
sold the banana, and then somebody took the bana, hung
it up on a wall, and then this guy paid
some two million for it.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
It wasn't art till I got hung up on the wall.
It was just a banana. It was just a banana.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Actually, that's expensive.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I think bananas are twenty five cents, so he got
ten cents more than what it was worth. And that's
three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Corse, script time pain, what's the vibe.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I'm going to tell you how generous you are based
on your zodiac sign. It's notional day of giving, so
I thought it was pretty fitting.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Angela.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Good morning, Good morning everybody.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
What's your sign? Scorpio?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Okay, Angela, I'm sorry to tell you, but you're actually
pretty far down on the list at number eleven. For
being like sall, you guys are pretty generous though, but
if only if like you've Scorpio's trust. They don't just
give for the sake of it. They actually need a reason.
But if you're in their inner circle, they will move
mountains to support you quietly though. Okay, so you are

(02:33):
just not loud.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
About it, Okay, I mean you're not at number twelve,
just number eleven.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Exactly, that's true. One up from twelve. That work, all right, Angela,
have a great day. Thank you for listening, you too,
guys eight seven seven, nine three seven one four seven
calls right now to get your sign read Christy, good morning,
what's your sign? Good morning?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I'm a Libra, just like Kyle.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Okay, So for my libras, you guys coming at number
four on the list, so pretty high up there. Libras,
you don't give for the clout, You honestly kind of
do it just to keep group chat at peace. So
whether it's like splitting the uber costs or like paying
for brunch just to avoid that awkwardness, you guys are
natural givers in any social situation. And harmony is your
love language.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
That's pretty spot on. Yeah, harmony, Hi Christy, thanks for listening.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Have a great day.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Thank you, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
How about for Pisces.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Yeah, Rich also really high up on the list at
number two for being one of the most generous signs
out of all.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
The zodiac signs. Nice Pisces.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
You guys give straight from the heart, whether it's your time,
or your creativity or your very last ten dollars. If
they see someone in need, they will be the first
to whip out their wallet and cry about it afterward because.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
You care that much. Yeah, Pisces dot dot dot, we
just care more you do.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
I mean, Rich, you always hook us up with free
burrito Friday, so you're very generous. We love you for that.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
What about for you Leos?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Yeah, Leo's we kind of can make our way down
the list. We're being the most generous. We're number nine
on the list, so pretty low. Leo's love language is
not giving, it's more a physical touch but we do
love giving, especially when we can make it a moment.
So expect to Leo to donate to charity and then
post about it with an inspiring Pasha. We're generous, but
we also want to shine while doing it. I do

(04:17):
not identify with this.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
How about Virgo?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah, Virgo, you.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Actually make your way back up the list. You guys
are pretty generous at number three on the list. Virgos,
You guys are the friends who will make you a
color coded donation spreadsheet for the food drive. They don't
just give, they strategize the most efficient way to make
a difference. And you're basically the personal assistance of generosity.
So you have pisces at number two, which is Rich
John Jay number three for Virgo, and call it number.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Four for Libra.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I'm number nine as a Leo.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Oh this is good. So if you want to know
what number one is, go to John Jaynrich dot com.
It's posted up there right now, so very cool. Find
out your horoscope. Rich, I didn't ask you about your thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Oh mine was great because my daughter Audrey use it
back in town, or was until you got she's going
to school in New York City at the fashion Institute,
and that girl is straight up all New York. Now
she's been there what four months? Oh je I was
kind of like that. It was like midnight on Thanksgivvy.
She's like, hey, you want to pie? You guys want
to get some bite? And she literally says to me,
She's like, where can I walk to get a good

(05:18):
bagel around here? I'm like, you're not in New York.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
You grew up here.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Yeah, this is Gilbert. Anyway, you gotta drive. That was
what she wanted to do. I said, what's the first
thing you want to do when you get back from
New York. She's like, drive a car, any car anywhere.
So her mission was to drive to In and Out
Burger to get in and out burgers for her and
her brothers. But that was awesome. So having her back
was awesome. And I did not like break down and

(05:44):
cry like I normally do when she leaves town. Because
she's back in like two weeks for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
You get kind of used to it. Like when I
said goodbye to my son camp over this last couple
of days. Was it was fine. It was a guy.
I'm going to see him in two weeks too, But
it was like I mean, don't get me wrong, my
wife balls and brains out every time.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Yeah, I mean you stick at the little bit of
lump in your throat. But I mean she's she's in
her element. She's she's found her people, you know, she's
found her her place. She'll probably never move back. Oh yeah,
I can't imagine her ever moving. Well, she'll be home
for like a whole month and a half for Christmas break,

(06:21):
so you'll get plenty of her.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
You guys had the three sixty appital you know what
that is, so it tracks if you you sign up
with this app, and then like you can see where
people that signed like my we can see all our kids,
where they are at all times, where they're you know,
how fast they were driving, you can see how whatever.
And over the weekend, because I was in Hawaii, I
would check on the three sixty app because there was
a three hour time change to kind of see where
people were. And my son Dutch where I'm used to

(06:44):
seeing Jake at his apartment in Tucson. At one point
Dutch was there and I was like, what's Dutch? So
Dutch went to the U of A Issue football game, right,
and Jake was home with US. So Dutch went with
his friends the uve A issue football game, and I
start getting messages from people that listen to the show
that bumped into Dutch at all these bars. First of all,

(07:07):
he's got apparently a good fake Texas ID, right, So
I asked Dutch about that, and Dutchess, No, that was
in mine. That was my friends, And well, how'd you
get in? He goes, I know all the bouncers and bartenders.
I'm like, what the hell? And it's totally different because
they're all like brothers and fraternity people of people he
grew up with. So he's standing alone at Froggin' Furkin'
and there's the bouncer and that's the older brother of

(07:29):
a guy he grew up with, and they let him in.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
He's eighteen, you know, if he knows, he's going to
have a great time.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Yeah, I know where Dutch goes.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
He went like three or four different bars.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
That's amazing, unbelievable at eighteen, that's amazing. In America, you
better start worrying right now if you're not yet,
