think is Max goes and sees through Vecna's eyes through

me think of Another great movie in the eighties was

the flyer, Henry's in the flyer, right, and those and Henry's.

that happened at Lelo and Stitch a couple of months ago.

I walked into Lelo and Stitch and I genuinely forgot
that it was like a kid's movie. I thought it
was a movie for like me, because I grew up
on Lelo and Stitch. I was not expecting to see

I did not want that experience for Zootopia, so I'm
gonna wait till next weekend.

this movie drops and it's the biggest thing of all time.
I didn't see Zutopia one, and I've heard z Utopia

on my phone, couch ads.

and it's still the weirdest thing in the world, because,

Got to be a couch that's like the one that
was viral on TikTok and like literally you sit in

that guy do you see that him and Zoe Kravitz.

And it's like, uh, it's I'm not enjoying it, and

but she's not into stranger things, so she started. When
I woke up this morning, I got a text from
her blasting this movie that she sat to the movie

I have my own theory on what's going on with
Stranger Things.

Okay. So, when Stranger Things first started, part.

Of the hook of it it was it takes place
in the eighties, and they paid homage to lots of
things in the eighties like Goonies and Grimlins and Saved
by Me and all these these movies that made an
impact on people on Generation X and millennials. So I'm
watching it, and you know the part where Max, I
think is Max goes and sees through Vecna's eyes through

the school in the fifties.

Yeah, that's really cool.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
That's really cool, right she sees that flyer. Well made
me think of Another great movie in the eighties was
Back to the Future. And that scene right there where
they showed everybody in the fifties literally looked to me
like it was right out of Back to the Future.
And then they showed the flyer, and then in the flyer,
you see that Joyce is in the flyer, Hoppers in
the flyer, Henry's in the flyer, right, and those and Henry's.

Vecna, the wheelers, Yeah, all in their fly Where're the

Another huge movie in the eighties was Empire Strikes Back.
Darth Vader legend finds out that he he has twins.
He also tells Luke that he's his father. I think
Vecna is the dad to Will and eleven. That's what

Joyce's something happened in that play, and that's and got
pregnant and had twins. And he doesn't know he has
twins yet, just like Darth Vader when he goes you
have a sister. Pretty good, So that's what I think
has happened.

Something with like the Star Wars and the Dark Vader.
Maybe I don't know exactly on like the twins though,

things that people are putting together, like conspiracy theories.

The thing about the Darth Vada thing is that he's
the father to Luke and Lea, and you don't find
that out until Empire strikes right, you may have it.

By the way, when you watch it episode so fift seeson,
episode one. Now the teenagers or the high schoolers are
working at radio station.

They do everything for radio station and guess what, they
have also technical difficulties all the time.

Most realistic scene that whole series is when they go
off the air and they can't figure out why.

But in this season, came back snatched. He must have
gotten on someone.

I know you said you never watched Stranger Things, but
I feel like this season you can watch it and
not have to watch it because you forget right into
the action.

if you just watch the recap, you're That's what happened
withy Stacy because she's never seen it before and started
watching a recap with me, and she was just kind
of in.

The brothers that made the show that Duffer Brothers actually
used a real teacher.

Yeah, it's it's a good show.

I mean, it's fun to watch, but there's like flaws,

Yeah, and they actually speak so fast about you know,
lore things that it goes right by me. And I
know they're giving away plot stuff. I don't understand it,
but you kind of figured it out because it goes
along anyway.

My favorite character is Erica though Lucas's little sister.

I got a problem with Luca's hair, his hair, and
also Dustin's hair that like the wings, the wings are bad,

I was watching with my son Jonie's like, you shouldn't
have to be dealing in the same storyline with like
Demi Gorgans from Hell and school bullying school Billy shouldn't
be in there, like that doesn't even need to take
That's like not part of what the you're fighting under
the underworld. That's enough, you fight the underworld.

How about a Landman? You guys kind of get caught
up a Landman. You're watching it's so good.

I didn't like the first episode so interesting, Yeah, because
we watched the first episode and you were not in no.

Second episode I think is fantastic.

In fact, the second episode there's father and son interaction
where the actors may seem so real. I believe that
their father and son and they're crying. It's like it's
so well done. And then I watched the third episode
last night and it's just really really good.

That'shen more Demi Moore focused and she's awesome, Like she'll
win an Emmy for that.

I okay, I had a plan literally over the weekend. Yesterday,
Kadeem and I were like, we're gonna go see Zutopia.
We got all of our step together about to walk
out of the door, and I was like, wait, Zootopia
is a kid's movie. Also, this is opening weekend, and
I'll be damned if the same thing happened to me
that happened at Lelo and Stitch a couple of months ago.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yeah, waiting up.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
I walked into Lelo and Stitch and I genuinely forgot
that it was like a kid's movie. I thought it
was a movie for like me, because I grew up
on Lelo and Stitch. I was not expecting to see
a bunch of ten year olds running around, and so
I did not want that experience for Zootopia, so I'm
gonna wait till next weekend.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
It's like so huge. I think it made five hundred
and fifty six million, which like broke box office records.
It's like the biggest animated movie opening ever.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
That's so crazy because I didn't see anything. To me,
I was also I was consumed with Stranger Things and
Wicked before that, and then to me, out of nowhere,
this movie drops and it's the biggest thing of all time.
I didn't see Zutopia one, and I've heard z Utopia
two is better than Zutopia.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
Wan, I'm excited because Utopia is good.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
The Ridge, yeah that did. Just didn't know that the
kids brought it up to you. No, see, that's what
I mean. The marketing was terrible, but apparently not who and.

Yeah, I went and I left thinking, like, I don't
I think I've seen Utopia like five times and I
can't tell you a single thing that happened in Utopia
two is fantastic, Like it might be my favorite movie
of the year.

It was. It was really so good. Dang oh, I
love that.

I was telling you guys that the movie I saw
on Netflix isn't very good.

So my wife sat before me with her boys, and
I went with my kids this weekend and she's like,
it's not as good as the first one.

I liked it just as much. I thought they were
both great. So it wrapped it up, and I forgot
even having read the book and seeing the I forgot
some of the the plot twists at the end, and
they were very satisfying to me, very very conclusive and
happy ending for me. I liked all of it. Oh,
that was great.
