Speaker 1 (00:16):
Anybody getting good deals? Anybody buything today? I bought stuff

Speaker 3 (00:20):
It's so nerdy? I mean, I'll tell you guys about it,
but it's totally nerdy. I bought a record cleaner that
goes subsnic that gets all the dust in crackles out
of your records. And they've been very, very expensive in
the past, but this one is fifty percent off, so
I went for it. I will have clean something records.
(00:41):
I think it's very important.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Did you.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Cyber Monday?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
So good for me?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Cyber Monday? What I said, did you buy something? Yes?
Speaker 1 (00:55):
I bought same thing I buy every year on Cyber
Monday is about one hundred Gaps shirts. They're only there's
different Gap shirts. I don't know the difference between of them.
Some of them are five dollars, some of them are
seven dollars. Right now, normally you're twenty five to thirty bucks,
and I bought a whole bunch of them.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
So that's my wardrobe for the next year.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Didn't I see that gap is fifty percent off everything today.
That's what I saw, I think on the news this morning.
It's a pretty good deal. I don't know, but that's
a good deal for those T shirts. What about you, Peyton?
What about you Kyle.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
I haven't gone shopping yet, but I will be later
today when I get a chance to, like sit down, relax,
grab a glass of wine.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
I did a bunch of Black Friday shopping because my
goal was just to be done with Christmas shopping by
the end of today. I don't know if that'll happen.
I still have like a couple people, but I feel
like I'm well on my way. But just two seconds ago,
I noticed that the little touch Land hand sanitizers that
are really popular, there's a three pack which is usually
(01:48):
thirty bucks on sale for only twenty two bucks on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
So I did buy that. I made a Black Friday purchase.
But I'm not going to tell you just yet.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
I'm going to I'll tell you, like after we play
a minute to win, because it's kind of embarrassing, but
I had to do it.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
I think we have a contestant here.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Let's say hello Lauren, Hi, Lauren, Yes Hi, you're calling
to play minute to win it? I am okay, ready
to go. We got Paticky's thousand dollars on the line.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
All right, let's do this.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Okay, good luck to you.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Sixty seconds on the clock to win one thousand dollars
of Paddicky from Peoria Forwards money. Here we go on
what streaming service would you find the TV show Stranger Things?
Oh god?
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Is it Netflix?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
What do bad kids typically get in there? Christmas stucking?
What is Frosty the Snowman's nose made out of?
Speaker 2 (02:53):
God?
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Share it?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
But well? But button on the nose? Lauren?
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Sorry, guys, it should be a carrot.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
I mean that would have been a good lyrics.
Speaker 6 (03:11):
Like the song does save Button?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
If you would have said snowman, he probably would accepted carrot.
But for Frosty the Snowman, he was a button nose.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Lauren.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
We're gonna set you up over easy for breakfast. Thanks
for listening.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Thank you, guys.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
You got it over easy dot com website, download their
appic open a blue store.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Oh god, where was I was just saying? Dear Valley Valley? Anyway? Okay,
so let me tell you what I offer.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Yeah, yeah, this is so stupid, but it was so
cheap comparatively, and I don't have I don't think I
have room for it.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Long story short about one hundred inch TV. Yeah, what
I've been screaming for that for you for a long time. Funny,
where is that gonna go? Work that out later?
Speaker 1 (04:00):
So what's funny is I don't know how big the
box is going to be when it does get delivered.
But if I'm not home when it gets there, like
he probably can't help me take it in.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
And I got to put it somewhere.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
And then I got to find someone like I was
texting him with a guy seeing if he go, hey,
if I got one hundred inch TV, which one should
I get? And I looked it up and the prices
were crazy, like it's so it's so on Friday. It's
ridiculous on electronics, I think for Black Friday. Right Oh yeah,
so uh, anyway, I hope he's willing to put it
in for me.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Because I don't know how I've been like whispering this
into John Jay's existence for a long time, like you
need a big TP, you get those one.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Hundred inch TV?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Well, I went to my brother in law house. He
has a seventy five inch and got it in Costco
really cheap. And this seventy five inch is unbelievable. I
just can't imagine what one hundred inch looks like now.
Speaker 6 (04:46):
Enormous.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
It's going to be your whole wall.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
Yeah, I know that's a two man job like that.
You're not going to be able to just have one
person hitnging that TV out.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
And you're going to be like, I'm sitting too close
because it's so big, and that's going to feel so good.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
You're just gonna look show are gonna be better this
second acount.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Well, I thought, you know, we have a playroom that
the kids and there's three TVs on that wall, and
I thought, we'll take those down. I'll put the TV
in there, says my kids are gone, and make it
my room. My but the couch in there sucks. So
I tell my wife, I said I'd be cool if
we got a new couch, and all of a sudden,
on my phone, couch ads.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Are popping up.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
I don't care how many how often we talk about it,
and it's still the weirdest thing in the world, because,
like I've never talked about a couch ever, and now
all these ads are popping up.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
What's the perfect couch for TV watching one hundred? Like
it's got to be gushy, right, It's.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Got to be a couch that's like the one that
was viral on TikTok and like literally you sit in
it and it like takes you over, Like it's this
giant puffy cloud.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Ye look it up, the cloud couch. Look it up,
Google it. You know what.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
That Lolla Blanket Company should make a couch because those
are those are nice anyway.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah, I'm so excited. We should all be there for it.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
You guys have party listen, you know, just like uh,
you know, I fancy myself a musician.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
My craft is a guitar. Your craft, sir, is a television.
It is. I watched so much TV this weekend.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
In fact, I got to the point where I can't
There's like nothing else. I've watched everything, and I can't
commit to anything right now. I even started watching this
movie on Netflix last night that with the guy the
guy who played Elvis. If you guystart watching it yet,
it's called The Cat Stealing or something. Butler, yeah, yeah, yeah,
that guy do you see that him and Zoe Kravitz.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
I would like that. Yeah, it's a movie. It's a movie.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
It's a top ten Noix on Netflix, top ten on Netflix.
And it's like, uh, it's I'm not enjoying it, and
I haven't heard anything about it. But I paused it.
I think I have like an hour left, so I sent.
I told my sister, because my sister was like, what
what should maybe watching right now? And obviously stranger things,
but she's not into stranger things, so she started. When
I woke up this morning, I got a text from
her blasting this movie that she sat to the movie
(06:53):
and I think it's terrible.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
I'm only half an hour in. I got an hour.
Austin Butler, if everybody loves that's the.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
One that there was like a ton of rumors that
Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler were dating.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Oh well, their love scenes are pretty amazing. Oh are they? Yeah?
Really amazing.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
They always do that, the rumors that the sters are
dating always.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I think when you see a love scene like that,
you're like, okay, you came.
Speaker 6 (07:13):
I think they look good together. Personally, I did too,
they do. I kind of was like on the same
tips huge on day this weekend. I was like, I
don't like there's not good TV for me, and I
didn't get into Stranger Things, so I know everyone's freaking
out Stranger Things.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
This is really awesome.
Speaker 6 (07:27):
I'm happy for everybody because I know how that is
when your favorite TV show drops a new season. But
I wasn't, so I started watching Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Good totally Stranger Things.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
I need you to put it on that show. It's
my favorite reality show.
Speaker 6 (07:42):
It was almost done in the first season.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
I think they just dropped the third season. Who watched
Stranger Things though.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
I watched it in one sitting, so did I.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
I have a theory something hit me in the middle
of Stranger Things where I feel like I discovered I'm
going to create my own spoiler. I didn't read it anywhere,
but something happened with Strange Things. I was like, oh
my god, I think this is what this means and
I haven't seen it anywhere.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Okay, I'll tell you.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
In fact, i'll tell you after theater swift we got
oh look, we got it sharing tickets about an hour
from now Christmas Wish season. So if you know a
family that can use little help this holiday season. Nominate
them go to John Jamers dot com Taylor Swift, and
then I'll.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Tell you my Stranger Things theory.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
You saved my heart from the fate of Oh Christmas.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
December First? When's her?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
When's the theaters documentary come out on Disney? It's this month,
isn't it like?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Second? A couple of second a week?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Do you know her birthday? Maybe?
Speaker 2 (08:34):
How do we got? Probably? Does anybody know when Tater's documentary? Noah?
Do you know?
Speaker 6 (08:40):
The End of an Era? A six episode docuseries peeling
back the curtain of development, impact and inner workings of
her tour, drops December twelfth.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Very good?
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Okay, Stranger Things. So I don't I'm not going to
ruin anything for you. I don't think I am. But
I have my own theory on what's going on with
Stranger Things.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Okay. So, when Stranger Things first started, part.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Of the hook of it it was it takes place
in the eighties, and they paid homage to lots of
things in the eighties like Goonies and Grimlins and Saved
by Me and all these these movies that made an
impact on people on Generation X and millennials. So I'm
watching it, and you know the part where Max, I
think is Max goes and sees through Vecna's eyes through
(09:24):
the school in the fifties.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
Yeah, that's really cool.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
That's really cool, right she sees that flyer. Well made
me think of Another great movie in the eighties was
Back to the Future. And that scene right there where
they showed everybody in the fifties literally looked to me
like it was right out of Back to the Future.
And then they showed the flyer, and then in the flyer,
you see that Joyce is in the flyer, Hoppers in
the flyer, Henry's in the flyer, right, and those and Henry's.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Vecna, the wheelers, Yeah, all in their fly Where're the
I'm going with this, I don't know yet, Okay.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Another huge movie in the eighties was Empire Strikes Back.
Darth Vader legend finds out that he he has twins.
He also tells Luke that he's his father. I think
Vecna is the dad to Will and eleven. That's what
I think. I think Vecna, and I think Vecna is
(10:11):
Joyce's something happened in that play, and that's and got
pregnant and had twins. And he doesn't know he has
twins yet, just like Darth Vader when he goes you
have a sister. Pretty good, So that's what I think
has happened.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Pretty good. That's I don't hate it.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
Something with like the Star Wars and the Dark Vader.
Maybe I don't know exactly on like the twins though,
I'm excited to talk to you because I don't want
to give any spoilers. But I definitely have gone down
the rabbit holes on like all of the Internet, so
I feel like I've picked up on a couple of
things that people are putting together, like conspiracy theories.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Have you heard that yet? I haven't heard that. I
have heard the Star Wars connection. I have not. Okay,
really that part like not.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
Like the Darth Vader vibe.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
But I don't want to spoil Darth Vader.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
The thing about the Darth Vada thing is that he's
the father to Luke and Lea, and you don't find
that out until Empire strikes right, you may have it.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
You may have just ruined the rest of.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
The season for us and Kyle.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
By the way, when you watch it episode so fift seeson,
episode one. Now the teenagers or the high schoolers are
working at radio station.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
It's really cool.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
They do everything for radio station and guess what, they
have also technical difficulties all the time.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Just like us. They're up there.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Most realistic scene that whole series is when they go
off the air and they can't figure out why.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
But in this season, came back snatched. He must have
gotten on someone.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
Literally, they were like that came out snash ready to
just sligh.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yeah, that's a big deal, Kyle.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
I know you said you never watched Stranger Things, but
I feel like this season you can watch it and
not have to watch it because you forget right into
the action.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Like it's so good you forget about the other stuff. Anyway,
if you just watch the recap, you're That's what happened
withy Stacy because she's never seen it before and started
watching a recap with me, and she was just kind
of in.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
She didn't have to ask too many questions. Did you
see that ready?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
The brothers that made the show that Duffer Brothers actually
used a real teacher.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Yeah, it's it's a good show.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I mean, it's fun to watch, but there's like flaws,
but you have to let those go.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah, and they actually speak so fast about you know,
lore things that it goes right by me. And I
know they're giving away plot stuff. I don't understand it,
but you kind of figured it out because it goes
along anyway.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
My favorite character is Erica though Lucas's little sister.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
She's the best.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Well.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
I got a problem with Luca's hair, his hair, and
also Dustin's hair that like the wings, the wings are bad,
Yeah they're bad.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yeah, they do not look like teenagers. No, you know,
I was watching with my son Jonie's like, you shouldn't
have to be dealing in the same storyline with like
Demi Gorgans from Hell and school bullying school Billy shouldn't
be in there, like that doesn't even need to take
That's like not part of what the you're fighting under
the underworld. That's enough, you fight the underworld.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
How about a Landman? You guys kind of get caught
up a Landman. You're watching it's so good.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
I didn't like the first episode so interesting, Yeah, because
we watched the first episode and you were not in no.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Second episode I think is fantastic.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
In fact, the second episode there's father and son interaction
where the actors may seem so real. I believe that
their father and son and they're crying. It's like it's
so well done. And then I watched the third episode
last night and it's just really really good.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yeah, it's good.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
That'shen more Demi Moore focused and she's awesome, Like she'll
win an Emmy for that.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
What else do on to you? What about movies? What
about Zoutopia? And one sees Zutopia?
Speaker 5 (13:20):
I okay, I had a plan literally over the weekend. Yesterday,
Kadeem and I were like, we're gonna go see Zutopia.
We got all of our step together about to walk
out of the door, and I was like, wait, Zootopia
is a kid's movie. Also, this is opening weekend, and
I'll be damned if the same thing happened to me
that happened at Lelo and Stitch a couple of months ago.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yeah, waiting up.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
I walked into Lelo and Stitch and I genuinely forgot
that it was like a kid's movie. I thought it
was a movie for like me, because I grew up
on Lelo and Stitch. I was not expecting to see
a bunch of ten year olds running around, and so
I did not want that experience for Zootopia, so I'm
gonna wait till next weekend.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
It's like so huge. I think it made five hundred
and fifty six million, which like broke box office records.
It's like the biggest animated movie opening ever.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
That's so crazy because I didn't see anything. To me,
I was also I was consumed with Stranger Things and
Wicked before that, and then to me, out of nowhere,
this movie drops and it's the biggest thing of all time.
I didn't see Zutopia one, and I've heard z Utopia
two is better than Zutopia.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
Wan, I'm excited because Utopia is good.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
The Ridge, yeah that did. Just didn't know that the
kids brought it up to you. No, see, that's what
I mean. The marketing was terrible, but apparently not who and.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Yeah, I went and I left thinking, like, I don't
I think I've seen Utopia like five times and I
can't tell you a single thing that happened in Utopia
two is fantastic, Like it might be my favorite movie
of the year.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
It was. It was really so good. Dang oh, I
love that.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
I was telling you guys that the movie I saw
on Netflix isn't very good.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
It's called cost stealing. And here's a text from a
nine one to five number.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Cost stealing is so bad, Yeah, Austin Butler, Zoe Kravitz.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
So bad. I did see Wicked too. I thought it
was great. Wicked, thank it for good. Yeah, I thought
it was great. I thought it was great.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
So my wife sat before me with her boys, and
I went with my kids this weekend and she's like,
it's not as good as the first one.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
I liked it just as much. I thought they were
both great. So it wrapped it up, and I forgot
even having read the book and seeing the I forgot
some of the the plot twists at the end, and
they were very satisfying to me, very very conclusive and
happy ending for me. I liked all of it. Oh,
that was great.
