Speaker 3 (04:37):
Or throw some shade. Oh you called John Jay and
Rich seven nine seven.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Time for Peyton's predictions. What's the my forest coups?

Speaker 10 (04:45):
Peyton, Well, we've been doing a minute to Win it
for like the last year now, and I just have
a good feeling about today. So I'm gonna let you
know what your zodiac sign is going to do if
you won one thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Good morning, Laurie from Oregon, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 9 (05:00):
We're gonna find out if Aries, what Aries will do
if it won a thousand bucks?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Listen, what would you do? What would you do? You
want a thousand dollars?

Speaker 7 (05:11):
Well, first you got a kiese and then maybe put
it on credit cards.

Speaker 9 (05:16):
Oh that's a good answer right there. I'm hoping that
you were blessed with that money. Today, Peyton, what do
you got for Aries?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Me too?

Speaker 10 (05:21):
Well, Aries, you guys have kind of already spent that
thousand dollars in your head before the cash even hits
your hand.

Speaker 8 (05:27):
You have this competitive ego and it instantly.

Speaker 10 (05:30):
Inflates, so you're gonna start acting like you're this elite
high roller. You're offering to buy rounds of drinks, and
by midnight you might be in debt again.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
This sounds about right.

Speaker 12 (05:42):
Congratulations on getting married, Peyton, and I just showned out.

Speaker 8 (05:46):
Thanks Lorie, that's so sweet.

Speaker 11 (05:49):
Thanks for the reading, Tyler, have a great day.

Speaker 9 (05:51):
Thanks for listening. Stay blessed, Michelle, good morning. What's your sign?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Hy?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Good morning?

Speaker 8 (05:57):
Touris okay, Taurus?

Speaker 10 (05:59):
The thing that you would do if you won a
thousand dollars you would immediately turn into a paranoid hoarder.
You would stash the money away like a squirrel preparing
for a winter. You would seriously tell your friends you
didn't win that much. Well, actively browsing silk pajamas online
and planning a four day weekend get away.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Sounds very accurate.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Thank you, You're welcome.

Speaker 10 (06:21):
I feel like these are more fitting for like a
million dollars like a thousand bucks. Really, it doesn't feel
like it's that much anymore, I know, I mean obviously
that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (06:32):
You know what I'm saying. Deflation is real. Yeah, everything's
so expensive real.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
For you.

Speaker 8 (06:42):
Yeah, I'm a leo us Leo's.

Speaker 10 (06:44):
When it comes to us spending one thousand dollars, we
would treat.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
It like a powerbole jackpot.

Speaker 10 (06:48):
We would immediately book a high fashion photo shoe or
maybe even buy a new accessory, a new premium designer bag.
We would post an obnoxious photo carousel with the feed
saying manifestation works, and completely forget that Rent's doing three days.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Okay, how about pisces rich for you?

Speaker 10 (07:06):
What you would do with one thousand dollars? You would
completely disassociate. You would check your balance over and over
and over again like it's monopoly money, and you end
up accidentally losing the physical check of the thousand dollars
and you spent the whole grand on a vintage Tarot
deck card.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Bit you I already wrote down record store shopping day.
Look at that. Yeah, gonna be something already perfect about.

Speaker 8 (07:26):
Libra's Libra's Kyle.

Speaker 10 (07:28):
You are completely paralyzed by the luxury of choice. You
would spend forty hours staring at an online shopping car,
desperately texting your friends asking if you should save it
or spend it, But you're gonna end up blowing it
all at Home.

Speaker 8 (07:40):
Goods anyway, Probably right, that's what totally accurate. I be
like going out, There's somebody like, what do I do
with this?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Not home goods? Ace and Ace heard hardware? What do
you got for virgos?

Speaker 10 (07:51):
John Jay, you don't even smile if you win that
thousand dollars. There you are strategically planning how you're.

Speaker 8 (07:59):
Gonna use it to your benefit.

Speaker 10 (08:01):
You're gonna probably buy something that you absolutely do not
need as well.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
That's a good one.

Speaker 9 (08:06):
If you missed your horoscope today, they are all up
at Johnjdrich dot com.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 9 (08:16):
You want to know about the time you confidently walked
into the wrong situation want wrong room, wrong party, wrong conversation,
and you didn't realize it right away. And I'll tell
you there's something I'm going through right now that I
will explain. We want to know about you, though, Raquel,
good morning. Tell us what was the wrong situation you
felt good about? It, but it was wrong.

Speaker 12 (08:34):
What happened, Oh my gosh, I was so confident that
I saw my new sorority sister. I was in the
grocery store and I saw this girl and I flagg
her over. I'm like waving her and talking to her.
I thought she was my sister Sarah. And a few
minutes into it, she's being really polite, but she's like, actually,

(08:57):
my name is Emily. And I didn't know her at all. Yeah,
she was like a newer sororities. I thought she was
a newer sorority sister and it wasn't her at all.
I think I legitimately have facial boydness. It's really scary.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 9 (09:21):
When I was a kid to my mom, we were
standing like the zoo and I went up to my
mom and put my hand around her really hard, wold
to grab her like this, and I'm its like eight.
I look up and it's not my mom.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Wow, terrible, terrible.

Speaker 10 (09:36):
I like, have you guys ever like accidentally called your
teacher mom when you're a kid.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
My teachers.

Speaker 9 (09:42):
I never said a word to any of my teachers
the history of my life. Thanks for calling, Thanks for
sharing that with us. All right, thanks Peter, tell us
about the time you felt pretty confident about it, but
it was the wrong thing wrong.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
What happened?

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Okay, So back in college, I went in to my.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Entered AP class.

Speaker 7 (10:01):
I was pretty confident, so in the front row.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Lean back, and the teacher walks in and just starts
speaking in fluent Spanish and started asking me questions because
I'm right up front, and I was really confused.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Turns out I walked into.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
The wrong classroom.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
That's funny, thanks Peter. That's really funny, Peter.

Speaker 9 (10:24):
I have a great day, dog, Thank you you too.
Eight seven seven ninety seven one four seven. Also, this
is what they say. They say this will be a dynamic,
accessible conversation, not clinical, focus on how to high performers
train their minds to navigate pressure, sustain excellence, and thrive
beyond sport. The audience, who includes fans, professionals, community leaders

(10:45):
of goals to keep the discussion engaging, practically relatable, will
keep the tone conversational and authentic. There's no need to
prepare formal remarks. Just come ready. Thank you again for
being part of this. I'm excited for the impact this
series can have. It just sounds so it sounds so serious.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
No, but that takes like a little bit of the
pressure off.

Speaker 8 (11:03):
They're just saying be yourself, which that's an easy.

Speaker 9 (11:05):
Thing for you already. That's that's that's that's scary. Eight
seven seven ninety three seven one o four seven. You're confident,
but you walked in the wrong situation. More of your calls. Next,
it's John, Jay and Rich.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
I'm freezing out side.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
Fastay, have a medicinator stir you say now our street.

Speaker 9 (11:26):
I want to know about when you confidently walked into
the wrong situation like me tonight, Stephanie, good morning.

Speaker 7 (11:32):
Hi, good morning, Hi.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
What happened to you?

Speaker 7 (11:34):
Oh my goodness? Okay, so very embarrassing. Back in twenty fifteen,
my friend Joey had just boomed into a house with
someone that we had known from high school, and I
had been to this house. I helped him move in
a little bit. Everything was good, and I remember he
had mentioned that there was going to be another girl

(11:56):
moving in and she had a boyfriend, and you know,
not was kind of it. And a few days later
we had decided we were going to hang out, so
I drove over there to what I thought was his
house and it was nighttime and I knocked on the
door and this man answered, had not seen him before,

(12:16):
but he was around my age, so I automatically assumed, oh,
this must be his roommate's boyfriend. So I confidently said, Hi,
I'm stuff and I'm coming in, and I walked right
cast him. He let me in, and I'm kind of
looking around and calling out for my friend. I'm like, Joey,
you know, Joey, where are you? And you know, since

(12:38):
I had, you know, been to his house before, I
walked to where his bedroom would have been and I
opened the door and hitch black room, didn't see anything
in there. And I turned to this guy and I'm like,
you know, where's Joey And he was like there, there's
no Joey here, Oh my god.

Speaker 11 (12:56):
And then I.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
Start looking around and then it hit me like, oh
my god, this is not this is not the house.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Thank god, you weren't in like a serial killer.

Speaker 8 (13:08):
So they were like, excellent, dude, that.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
Could have gone south. Yeah, So I started apologizing. I'm like,
oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, Like I thought this
was my friend's house. And I ended up, you know,
leaving obviously, and I see my friend Tudors down and
he's just laughing. It was so embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
That's the way that guy was.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
Like, Juli died five years ago.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
That's awesome. Thanks for sharing with us. Thank you, Yes,
thank you, Jesse.

Speaker 9 (13:39):
Wrong situation, but you had all the confidence in the
world what happened.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Okay. So this is back in like twenty fifteen, and boys,
that's how I started listening to you guys too when
you were on there. But I volunteered for Habitat for
Humanity and I was on the family selection committee. And
the way it works is you can apply for a
home for through Habitat and then they make sure you

(14:04):
financially qualify and then our team would go out and
interview the family and we had a little piece of
paper we would ask all these questions, kind of get
an idea of the family structure, why they applied, etc. Right.
So it was one of the funnest things I've ever
done because I got to interact with all these different

(14:25):
families from all over the world, and mainly because Boise
is a refugee center where people are come and so
that was a lot of our families, if that makes sense, right, Okay,
So we go to this family's house and we're sitting
there for about twenty minutes asking them questions. We come in,

(14:50):
we sit down, we introduce ourselves. They give us tea
and cookies, and the twelve year old daughter is translating
for us, because I think they were from Somalia, right,
And then I'm kind of like getting these weird like
looks from the mom and dad and and they're a

(15:10):
little bit confused. And twenty minutes in, I go, did
you guys apply to Habitat for Humanity for a house?
And they were like no, cool there On the inside,
they were so nice, and I had been in this
situation so many times. We would go. They would give

(15:32):
us tea and cookies, and we would sit and I
often had a child translating or somebody else translating, and
so I'm like okay, And then I'm trying to explain
who we are and like.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Why we're there, and you just went you went to
the wrong house. Yes, it was.

Speaker 9 (15:53):
This kind family let you in the house and you're
explaining to them the rules of living in their house.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Yeah, we're we're interviewing them about how they want this
Habitat pre Humanity house and what it was is it
was a big apartment complex. I remember that address was
like four sixty two or something, and come to find
out there was on the other side of the street
was the same number. So we just went to the

(16:20):
wrong one. But you guys, listen, the worst part is
we leave and then I'm at the other place for
an hour, and then I realized I don't have my keys,
and I'm like, oh my gosh, I love my keys.
I love my keys at the other place. And I'm like, okay,
So I go back and they're still there, and I

(16:41):
knock on the door and they're like, yep, here's your keys.
And I was like, I'm so sorry. And they also
immediately left after giving me my keys, and I just
died inside. I was like, these poor families has been
waiting for me to come back to give me my keys.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Geez.

Speaker 9 (17:01):
Yeah, well that is definitely a lot of a lot
of confidence. Wrong situation. Thank you, Jesse, thanks for sharing.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
It with us.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
You're welcome, everybody. You're welcome by.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Go put it.

Speaker 8 (17:15):
Jehan Jayne Rich are live on the free iHeartRadio.

Speaker 9 (17:18):
App top for Stacks and hacks. I have Stack of
Information and Rich has Life Hacks. Are you guys familiar
with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yeah, come on, Kyle's brother's favorite band of all time.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I don't know if it's all time, but it is
one of his favorite bands.

Speaker 9 (17:31):
Well, there's a video going viral because it is what
people who don't like the Red Hot Chili Peppers what
they think the Red Hot Chili Peppers sounds like.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
And this is dead on.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Come to aunts and step now.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
It's Tom deyiterate. I got a dumb tack don.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Man so good.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
It's probably thinks that is the right.

Speaker 8 (18:07):
Sounds a little familiar.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Do you guys ever go to bars and do trivia night?

Speaker 8 (18:12):
Yeah, I've been. I've done a couple of trivia nights.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Trivia Night.

Speaker 9 (18:15):
Apparently it's losing steam, so they're starting this new thing.
Think about this. It's nude drawing. People show out a
few bucks to draw live naked models at a bar.

Speaker 8 (18:26):
Pass no thanks, but you're sitting at the bar.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Someone get naked the group.

Speaker 8 (18:30):
At the strip club. I'm good on that.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
I don't want that to round my French fries either.

Speaker 8 (18:34):
You know That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Nudity and food don't go together.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
I'm with you.

Speaker 9 (18:38):
A flight attendant so and viral after saying families with
small kids should board the plane last, not first. She said,
board last, sit down, take off immediately. The pre board
privilege is a trap, is what she says.

Speaker 10 (18:48):
I feel like that would make more I mean, I
don't know, I don't have kids, so, but I feel
like the kids would want to like still have like
space to run around and not be like constricted.

Speaker 8 (18:57):
To the seat.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
Preboarding is kind of a lifesaver to help you guys
together as a family so your kids aren't like by themselves.

Speaker 8 (19:02):
Well, yeah, that would be a necessity.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (19:04):
Most Americans get two food cravings per day, and they
tend to hit hardest at three forty two PM. Once
we feel the urge, fifty seven percent of us give
up within an hour to eat at three forty I
think I'm dead all of that.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Check this out.

Speaker 9 (19:20):
A New York woman is facing twenty five years in
prison after she was found guilty. I want you to
think about this when you're fighting your boyfriend and your husband.
She found was guilty of throwing a stick of dynamite
into her boyfriend's bedroom and blowing off his hands.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Gee yikeh, my goodness, you probably would to grab and
throw back.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
What did he do? That's what we need to know.

Speaker 9 (19:40):
Twenty two Sri Lankan monks so returning from Thailand. They
were arrested Sunday monks were arrested. Why because they had
two hundred and forty two pounds of weed with them?

Speaker 8 (19:49):
What kind of monks are though? We're chilling.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
This is a crazy story.

Speaker 9 (19:57):
It's tragic, but a tourist who is a cashing in
Egypt died after being bitten by a cobra during a
snake show. The snake charmer let the snake crawl up
the guy's pant leg.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Why would he do that?

Speaker 8 (20:11):
Why would he do that?

Speaker 2 (20:12):
That's so stupid? And guess what? The cobra bit him.
You guys got that, and then guess what he died.

Speaker 9 (20:20):
College students that you see Berkeley are hosting what they're
calling no Phone parties, asking guests to put away their
devices and focus on real conversations. It's organized by a
student led group called Project Reboot, and many are saying
the phone free time makes them feel more present and
connected to each other.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
At the heart of the tech tech world, there's any
other phones away.

Speaker 9 (20:41):
In nineteen eighty nine, Blockbuster was growing so fast there
was a new store opening every seventeen hours.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (20:47):
At its peak in two thousand and four, there were
nine thousand stores. Eighty four thousand people were employed. Today
there's one store left in Bend, Oregon, and they listened
to our show though, Thank you for listening, Rich What
do you got for life hacking?

Speaker 2 (21:00):
All right?

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Let me ask you, John Jay, what is a food
that you feel like is high in vitamin sea? Oranges, grapefruits. Yeah,
I think that's where most of us would go right away.
So if you think oranges are the king, they are
not strawberries. Strawberries, Kyle, good guess, peyton oloberries, No, check
it out. It's speaking of the red hot chili peppers.

(21:21):
It's the red pepper. It's the red pepper nearly three
times the vitamin sea of an orange. That means more
immune support, healthier skin, and a big antioxidant boost too,
without even drinking the ojs. So they're easier to sneak
into your day too. Toss them into a salad, stir
fry omelid. So next time you're trying to stay healthy,
don't sleep on the red pepper boom. We call that

(21:41):
vitamin CEA maxing. You can check that out John Dadrich
