Rebel Ridge, which is the number one movie on Netflix
right now.

I was just looking him up and he's the voice
of Mufasa in the new movie that's coming out. He's
a bad ass. This guy is could be the next
big action hero. He's so fantastic. And you guys watched
Rebel Rich did not What's Wrong with You?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So number one on.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Netflix selling Sunset came out on Netflix. That's was very
important to I was.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I was watching that climb on Netflix. But as far
as last side checked, he was still number two.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
As not big.

It is number two because the Perfect Couple is number one,
which I finished, and that's fantastic.

I started it.

I just started it this morning.

There's only six episodes and it's a murder mystery and
you guys watch that?

You maybe watch Dark Winds. I finished season one of
Dark Winds.

Oh that's pretty good too. It's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
But this this just tell you, guys something about this
perfect couple thing. It's Nicole Kidman and Leave Schreiber. Right,
they're a married couple and they've got three boys and
there it's uber wealthy and there's a murder. U the
bridesmaid gets killed, is murdered the day of a wedding,
and they're now they're trying to solve it. Right, and
the woman the bride do you recognize the bride? The

bride is Bono's daughter.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Bono, the singer from You Two know that. I know.
It's a trip.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
And then there's just so many twists and turns, and
then there's some funny moments in it. The cops are great.
It's just a it's a really good, good thriller. It's
probably my favorite show from the summer.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Oh I'm glad there's twists and turns because I feel
like I've already predicted it, Like I feel like it's predictable.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
No, I can't guess what you think it is. But
here's the thing too, something weird about the show. So
I told Kyle to watch it every weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
I said, I really, you know how you you know
how Netflix is, say skip the intro.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I don't skip the intro because the intro is the
whole cast dancing like it's like they're they're at the
wedding reception and they're doing like the chicken dance, but
it's not the chicken dance. I don't know what dance
are doing, but it's one of those dances. They're all
doing it, and I enjoy watching it so much, and
I like the song. I don't know what song it is.
I gotta find the song. But at the very end
of the show, once it's over, which threw me for
a loop, it's six episodes are done and they cut

to it's like the credits rolling and they show the
whole cast dancing again, and there's this woman in the
middle of just that. It's not there in the intro, Like,
who the hell. I find out it's the director, and
I'm like, why do they do that for it? It's
such a weird thing. Everyone's dancing over a good time.
Then there's this woman that they're all celebrating, like, oh,
it's the director, but.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
So you should be thinking about the murder that happened.
And how I got so weird because you're John Jay
You're thinking about the director of the Yeah, okay, I gotcha.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
But anyway, what else am I watching on the weekend? Oh,
how's Beetlejuice? Peyton? You saw Beetlejuice? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:50):
I saw Beetlejuice. Beetle Juice, and I thought it was
a great movie. Granted though I've only seen like the
original Beetlejuice, like probably about a year ago, but I
thought it was such a good movie. I thought they
did a good job of like nodding to the original.
You can definitely see Timberton's influence as he directed it.
It's very timber any which I like. Jenneral Ortega did
a great job. Winona Ryder did a fabulous job. But

I felt like the storyline was a little rushed, But
it was good. I really liked it.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I enjoyed it.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
An you guys watch people juice, no, no see, but
you watched Selling Sunset of.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Course sell that's a good Okay. So here's the problem
I have with selling Sunset. They fight so often on
that show that you want them to stop fighting. So
then I get to like episode five and they're not fighting,
and I'm like, I'm waiting for a fight now because
nothing was happening at all. Drama. Yeah, so the drama's high,
the dresses are great, the real estate's great.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
What's not the loft?

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:40):
No, I started selling Sunset too. I couldn't resist because
I love that show and it's just it is what
you expected to be.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
It's everything.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, anybody start watching this The Sopranos documentary.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
No, Oh my god, so good. It's so good, dude.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
I stayed up until midnight on Saturday night. I was like,
I'm gonna stay up in Friday all day. I waited
for it, and then at midnight I refreshed my HBO
Max and nothing, and then I looked up that it
doesn't premiere until eight pm. So like all day Saturday,
all I did was just wait around for the Sopranos.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Do you like it? Oh my god, yeah, it's so good.
One episode so far.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
There's two episodes, I think, but the first episode is
the guy telling you the history, David Chase, the guy
came up with Sopranos and why he came up with
the Sopranos and who everything's based on. Then they show
the auditions for all the actors that played all the
people give me Goosebus thing.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
So the thing that I really that I took out
of it that was like life interesting was they broke
the sixth season into two parts. They did season six
A and six B. And the reason the big networks
like HBO and Netflix they break them into halves like that,
like they've been doing lately, is so they don't have
to give them the mandatory season rays so the actors

between seasons. Yeah, so they did that to keep all
the wages down on the show. But it's screwed over
the cast.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
But that's what.

So now we know why Emily and Paris is coming
out to.

I'm not I'm not on episode two yet, So.

That's it ends the way the Sopranos end.

Oh really, it's so cool they're talking about the ending.

Question, though I never watched The Sopranos, would I want
to watch the documentary or would.

I think so?

Because you like, I like the way the making of it,
like you've heard of Tony soprano.

Right, yeah, I've heard it.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
You've heard you know the actors, So it's kind of
it was kind of neat to see how they started
where they came up.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
With, would you guys go back and rewatch the series?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Thought about it, I thought about for watching anything.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
I wondering for how it holds up because I haven't
gone back and watched any of it.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Well, my son Jake is loving it. He was watching
it right now. Wait, I gotta say something else. So
another show, my wife like took over the TV for
the last three weeks because of the US Open, the tennis,
and I don't think there was ever a bigger US
Open than yesterday.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Just with its celebrities.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
In the audio, Swift Taylor Swift is there, Patrick Mahomes
is there, the guy that won. He's from Italy, and
it's so interesting because he's the skinny redhead. And I
didn't I don't know much about tennis, but I thought
I got the two players mixed up. I thought the
skinny redhead was from America. But he won, and he
was a redhead and he gets up and he's like,
just don't go to win. He was like an Italian, right,
and he won. But when he wins, he climbs over

the wall and he goes and thanks his family that's
up in the booth, right and there's celebrities everywhere, I mean,
from Steph Curry to Taylor Swift to Travis Kelcey. And
he goes up and hugs his dad, his mom and
his group, and then he goes and hugs.

Speaker 3 (06:29):

I'm like, what happened?

It was so weird, and the announcers don't bring it
up at all. He goes over to he hugs Sealed.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
He's hugging Sealed for a long time, Like clearly they're friends,
I think. But I would have gone, hey, I'm gonna
go high five Tarror Swift. And of course then there
was football this weekend too. I watched some of that.
You guys watch football, Yeah, I watched some NFL football,
and I watched a lot of college football because I
didn't want to change the channel.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
It's always a good time with football seasons. Back then,
I feel like the vibes are always good.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, but you can't watch it on ABC right if
you have direct TV, because it's still they're still blocking
it at least.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
No, no, no, you can watch you can't watch ESPN.
Oh okay, ESPN, you can't watch it on it and
say what the US opened. But when the show, the
games are so big, they had them on normal networks.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
I thought I saw it on like Peacock one of
the games.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Probably there's I understand it works. There's sports everywhere now
I know, and some of the games. Yeah, it's very confusing.
