Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Rich, today's national what?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Well, today is National Main Character Day, which I think
we are covering in horoscopes. Yes. And who could be
more of a main character than Aaliyah? Not very many.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
There's a few out there, though.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
It's also National TV Dinner Day, which, you know, that
was my whole childhood. Salisbury steak. National Swamp Idea Day.
And this is great. And I think we need to.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Dig ours up.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
It's National School Picture Day.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
I think we need to post our school pictures. I
feel like we just posted those when it was fall.
We did.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
We did back to school, but today is National School
Picture Day. Right. So we should post our best school pictures,
of which I guess Kyle hasn't done. No, she does.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
We posted them a month ago for first day of school.
We all posted our first day of pictures.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I didn't have my first day of school picture, but
I had my school picture.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Well, anyway, that's what it is. Candice, good morning. You're
on the air.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (01:23):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Hey, you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I just wanted to call in to invite you to
my wedding. I'm getting married on 1010 up in Cave Creek.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
And we're going to have a taco bar, like buffet,
photo booths.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Like Western style if you want to wear your boots.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
But we're going to have lots of different kinds of
music and it's going to be.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
A good time.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Hey, I'm telling you right now. I'm looking at my calendar.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
10-10.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
I am a veil. I am a veil.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
And I'm loving the Western style.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I have these super cute red cowboy boots. And I
love a taco bar. Okay. Well, you have a mechanical bull.
That sounds dreamy.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh, a mechanical bull. You know, there might be one nearby. Uh-huh.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Because it is Cave Creek. Oh, yeah. So we don't
have one at the wedding. Oh, at Denims and Diamonds
or whatever? You don't have a real bull. Hey, where's
the venue in Cave Creek? Savannah? Savannah?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
It's right there.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
It's right behind Frontier Town.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
It's called Arizona Rustic Weddings.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Oh, cool.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
If you know where El Encanto is, the Mexican restaurant,
it's right across the street. Hey, that sounds great.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
It's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, so we'll have a margarita machine and, yeah, drinks and, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Is the wedding happening there, too, and the reception? Like,
all of it happening right there?
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Well, that'd be kind of fun.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
And tell us about who you're marrying.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
What's going on there? So his name is Chad. We've
been together for five years.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
I actually met him because he lives at the same
apartment complex as my.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Brother and they were friends first.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
He has a pool cleaning business so he stays busy
all year round.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
But we got engaged almost a year ago up in.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Prescott and we've just we're.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Still looking forward to the celebration and just having a
great time with all of our friends and family.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
And of course you guys, if you're available.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Well, thank you for inviting us. Can you hold on
so we get more of the details?
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Hold on.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Enrich the bar with the mechanical bowl is Buffalo chip.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
And I think it's like riding cave.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah. After the wedding, you got to go hit the
country bar.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I'm already injured.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Might as well.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Just tear the other meniscus.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
You'll be fine. So if I'm being real, Cave Creek's
a little bit of an inconvenience.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
How so?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Just outside of the bubble? It's a long drive. The
last time we all went to a wedding, it was
downtown and that was okay. Now, I'd be open to
Cave Creek, but it's funny because I was like, boy,
it's so inconvenient. And then, this is awesome. Guess what?
An article about everyday inconveniences is topical right now. Okay,
so here are some everyday inconveniences that drive everyone crazy.
(03:55):
Buying scissors... Only to realize you need another pair of
scissors to open the package of scissors. Yes, I know.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, totally.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
I don't like any. What do you call those?
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Blister packs?
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I don't like any of those. They're all impossible. The
10 hot dogs, eight buns dilemma. One of life's greatest mysteries.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Why do they do that?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Why do industries not communicate? Because I personally, along those
same lines, would like the baseball pant people to talk
to the baseball belt people to have them actually fit
through the loops.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Very frustrating. That's what I'm talking about. A little inconvenience.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Here's another one. There's never a printer that works all
the time. They all don't work. They're all junk. Printer people,
make a printer that works.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Everyday inconveniences. A bag of chips that's mostly air. Damn
new shrinkflation. This is a big one. This is such
a big one. And I bet you it's happened to
everybody in here. It's happened to me many times. But
the phone charger that you think is charging your phone,
but it never was. Yes. You go grab it. It's
like 5%. You're like, wait a minute. It's been charging
for four hours. The grocery bag that rips on the driveway.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah. This is a big one, too. This has happened
back then. Back when I used to not care what
I ate. Trying to open a can or trying to
open Capri Sun.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
You really got to be a ninja to be able
to stab that just right. Get that stratic poke.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Actually, this is a big one, too. This is actually huge.
Mismatched Tupperware lids and containers. You're looking for the rectangle lid,
but you can only find the oval ones.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Losing the end of the tape. And then when you
find it. It shreds in long, annoying pieces. Oh, yeah.
Like the patching tape. That's the worst. That's the worst. Anyway,
that was just a fun little thing I saw on
BuzzFeed about everyday inconveniences. If you got one, you know,
shoot us a text or call us at 877-937-1047. Minor
everyday inconveniences.
