Speaker 3 (00:09):
Gigsel thing boom, what you don't do, j We're not
talking about rid ten team.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
We're not talking about last year.
Speaker 5 (00:16):
It's the one and only dog y'all the glasses as
the big smooth eagle double jibble in your face to
me and in the place to be.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
And you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your
ass Hey, Carly, good morning, what's up?
Speaker 6 (00:27):
Good morning? I know you guys are talking about things
that you learned embarrassingly late, and I have one.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Okay, what'd you do? What'd you learn?
Speaker 4 (00:34):
So?
Speaker 6 (00:35):
And it wasn't actually super late in life, but when
I was really young, I asked my mom what God
looked like, and she said something to the effect of
nobody really knows because he's a being. And I heard
bean b E a n. And so one time, when
I was around ten, I drew a picture of God
(00:57):
and it was like Alima Bean sitting a throne with
a crown on. And someone asked me why that was God,
and I had to tell them. So that's when I
realized it there was a difference between B E A
N and B.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
E I N G.
Speaker 7 (01:12):
Hello.
Speaker 8 (01:13):
Good.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
You know you don't know that he doesn't look like
a being might have been inspired.
Speaker 6 (01:17):
Actually we don't and I don't know. Maybe he looks
like a pinto bean. But for me it was a
line of bean.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
That's a great story. But you learned at ten. You
didn't learn it at thirty.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
No, exactly. Well, I mean I'm saying I think I
was ten. Maybe I was twenty just last those years
are so far away from me now that it could
have been twenty.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
The bean on the thrones a good image, saith.
Speaker 6 (01:42):
Yeah, Carl so too.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Thanks for listening, Carly, thanks for calling in.
Speaker 6 (01:46):
Oh you're welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Love you guys, Love you too.
Speaker 9 (01:49):
So in my routine that I have my daily routine,
the old morning routine, I have a very strict ritual.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
You know.
Speaker 9 (01:55):
I go and I do some stretches, I do a
little bit of lifting weights.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
I do some breathing.
Speaker 9 (01:59):
I meditated with this chant, and then I go into
my hot tub, and in my hot tub I kind
of pray out loud and do stuff. Then I get
my cold plunge, and then I come in here and
yesterday afternoon, and this is the first rule problem. But
my hot tub was not hot, and I reached out
to Travis, the pool guy, and I'm like, hey man,
hot tub's not hot.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
It's only it's eighty six. By the way, eighty six.
That's pretty hot, isn't it. No freaking way, bath water,
it's not even bad.
Speaker 10 (02:24):
Think about it. Your body's normal temperature is what ninety
eight point seven water? That's eighty six. It's colder than
what your normal body TIMPs.
Speaker 9 (02:33):
Right, true logic from the librats.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (02:40):
You got to ask what's the normal body temperature? Well,
you're right, You're right, one hundred percent, right house, it
was like eighty six. So this morning I asked the
pool guy to fix it last time and he couldn't.
And when I got in this morning, I was like,
it's eighty four. So I just did my breathing. I
just did my breathing, and then I went strictly into
cold plunge. Right, So I was in the cold plunge
for this morning and I am freezing right now, Like
(03:02):
it is just a whole different ball game. But it's
a whole different ballgame when you don't hot tub before
you come like I'm just cold punch, and it's just
so icy cold, like my fingertips.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Everything feels like I've been sitting in snow.
Speaker 10 (03:13):
It's also like like, I, okay, so we've been in
this studio for a long time and I've always had
to have some sort of like snow jacket blanket just
to stay a little bit warm. And neither one of
you have ever been cold until you started cold plunging.
And that's kind of like my husband does the same thing.
Whenever he cold plunges. He's like it's kind of cold
in the house. Right now, I'm like, welcome to my life.
Speaker 11 (03:33):
Oh my god, this is well.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
We're gonna say pain.
Speaker 11 (03:36):
No, I was gonna say, yeah, like you cold plunge.
But also I feel like you've been getting really cold
in here, like coming to stand by the heater when
you started getting your blood removed, Like isn't that like
low Like could that be like something to do with it?
Because isn't it like if you have poor blood circulation,
you could get colder?
Speaker 1 (03:52):
And worth saying that he's having his blood removed for fun,
right right?
Speaker 11 (03:56):
I mean.
Speaker 9 (03:58):
I'm not talking about like, yes, lately I been cold,
but today is different. Today is ten times more cold
than normal. You know, when you're out in the snow
and you're skiing, or you're out playing the snow and
your toes get ice, ice, ice, ice ice.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
That's where I'm at right now.
Speaker 10 (04:10):
That's how I feel every morning in this studio for
the last fifteen years. If you have to hear your hya,
I told I was tell Scott, I'm like, I don't
need a cold punch. My whole life is a cold punch.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
So check this out. So my wife did something nice
for me.
Speaker 9 (04:28):
She got me a massage yesterday and it was at
one o'clock I think was my massage. And it was
a guy, a guy named Stacy's his name funny because
your wife's names stage. It's a guy named Stacy. He's
been doing massage for thirty two years. Probably the best
massage I've ever had in my entire life. Really yeah,
this guy's unbelievable.
Speaker 10 (04:46):
What made it so fantastic?
Speaker 9 (04:48):
He just deep hissoe, he just moved differently. And then
I found out I was asking him how he started,
and he learned massage in South Dakota from a small school.
It was a really older, an older woman, and she
was like, you know, like very mister Miyagi, like throw
a coin in the air, two coins in the air,
and you have to grab them, catch him and be
which one's heavier. So you learn touch and you learn all.
(05:10):
He learned all these weird ways to do massage. Then
he went to massage school here and anyway, he's unbelievable.
But the point of what I'm getting at with the
story is that Blake was gone and I had to
meet him at the house and it was a twelve.
I thought the massage was one, but it was a
toll forty five. And I got home in time to
make some eggs, and I see him pull up, and
I got six dogs, and one of my dogs likes
to kill people, so I have to make sure that
(05:31):
dog's not around. So when I see him coming into
the house, I tried to get the dogs to go
into our playrooms. I lock the door, and we had
my son Jake. When I get home, he goes. The
landscapers were at the house, and so we had to
close the doggy door right because if the doggy door's open,
the dog would try to kill the landscaper. So I
(05:52):
tried to get and so Stacy comes in the house
with his massage table and everything, and I'm like, hey,
just go on up to the bedroom and I'll meet
you up there. So he's going up to the stairs
to the bedroom. I'm trying to rally all the dogs
and then I hear him upstairs go I'm like what
and he goes, no, it never mind. I'm like, the
heck scene, let's see what's the yelling for it? Do
(06:14):
you want a sandwich?
Speaker 1 (06:15):
I got? So I get all the dogs rallied up.
Speaker 9 (06:19):
I go upstairs and there is a like a little
carpet little rug like a welcome map we have before
you go in our bedroom. I never really noticed it before,
and it's all pushed to the side and I go,
I'll go, hey, oh what happened? He goes, well, I
walked up and then I saw that. I go, what
is it? And he goes dog poop and I'm like, oh, man,
I go because the dog door was closed, so the
dogs had nowhere to go, so the dog pooped up
(06:41):
there and I go, oh, man, I'm sorry, I'm glad
you didn't step, and he goes, oh, I did step.
And he took off his shoes before he got in
my house. He stepped on it in socks.
Speaker 11 (06:53):
That's the worst of the worst, better than the barefoot,
because if his barefoot, it would go.
Speaker 9 (06:59):
Socks should never getting back. I stepped in it barefoot before.
I've never stepped in it in socks before. And I
when I'm when I looked, I was like, I gotta
hope it's the little dog.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Open up.
Speaker 9 (07:07):
I unfold the welcome Matt and it is a big dog.
And I'm like, oh my god, I'm so And I
look at him and he's got one sock on. So
I'm like, oh man, he goes, can I go into
your bathroom and wash off in the sea. I'm like,
oh god, I want to wash it my saint's. And
then I'm like, here, hold on a minute, I go,
can I just give you a pair? So I go,
(07:27):
and I have a pair of socks that I mean,
I have a you know those socks they're all connected
with the brand new they're up. Yeah, I pull off
a pair of these socks. I go here, use these socks.
I'm this, I thirteen, right, I think he's like a seven.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
So they look at pantyhose on him.
Speaker 9 (07:40):
So he puts the socks on and then we start
to do the massage and he's slipping and sliding everywhere,
and I'm like, he goes, I just go barefoot. I'm like, yeah, sure, man,
sure even go barefoot. It was so embarrassing.
Speaker 11 (07:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (07:53):
So I'm like, how long you do massage? He goes,
thirty two years. I go, any chance you've stepped in
dog poop before? And He's like never, never, I never
want to come back in thirty two years and doing that.
Speaker 8 (08:05):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (08:06):
So every time I was getting massaged and everyone so
I would just bust out laughing and be embarrassed. I'm
so sorry. I'm so sorry. And he's got too many dogs.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
You got too many dogs. I got too many dogs.
It's too many dogs, man.
Speaker 9 (08:18):
And there, and I think, I don't know if I
told you guys that the two old ones we got one,
there's like fourteen when this nineteen and I'm expecting them
to pass this year.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Oh that's sad, is it?
Speaker 10 (08:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (08:31):
So Blake, Blake tells me, I just taco lego. We
took them back to the back. Guess what, they're so healthy.
They got another five years.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Like no, no, yeah, they're getting all that good dog
food in that beautiful house. Eating, doing whatever they want,
running free. Oh man, their life. I just no more.
After six dogs.
Speaker 9 (08:51):
I told Blake, I'll never ever whenever these dogs move on,
never again, and She's like, I will always have a dog.
The text line you text JJR and whatever you want
to say to us to the number nine six eight
nine three.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Here's a text here from five to zero number.
Speaker 9 (09:13):
Every time I hear Kyle on war the roses, I'm
always super impressed at her skills to sell the roses.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
She would be good at sales too.
Speaker 9 (09:22):
Love the show you guys, She's right every time you
says like, oh, yeah, I got it. Of course I'll
take those from us, Yes, of course. Uh Peyton, what's
the vibe for horoscopes today?
Speaker 11 (09:31):
Well, I'm gonna tell each zodiac sign how you act
when you're just in a mood.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
One of those days, Hi, Caitlin, what you're signing? Good morning?
Speaker 8 (09:38):
Good morning?
Speaker 12 (09:39):
My sign is aries aries.
Speaker 11 (09:41):
When you're in a mood, you're just the explosive one.
You're mad and everyone knows it. You do not do
that whole bottling it up thing. Your anger. It gets loud,
immediate and usually includes slamming something down, and the worst
part about all of it though. You aries you're over
it in like five minutes, but everyone else around you
is like traumatized from what they just went.
Speaker 13 (10:01):
That is pretty accurate.
Speaker 12 (10:03):
Although I've gotten better, my cousin has kind of helped
hold me down a bit. Hey, good good A great
day you too.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Hi, Rachel, what's your son?
Speaker 14 (10:15):
Hi?
Speaker 15 (10:15):
Good morning? I am a Capricorn.
Speaker 11 (10:17):
Okay, Capricorns. When it comes to you being just in
a mood, you're the kind of person that's just all
just work through it. Instead of dealing with your feelings,
you distract yourself with work or errands or literally anything productive.
You'd rather die than let those emotions mess up your routine.
But once that one push it that, once that one
person pushes you too far, it's over for them, you
(10:37):
see red.
Speaker 16 (10:39):
Yep, that's true totally.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Bye, Rachel, have a great.
Speaker 13 (10:45):
Day, by guys.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
What's up? What's up?
Speaker 17 (10:49):
Good morning?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Gemini?
Speaker 11 (10:52):
All right, Gemini is when you are in a mood,
you are just the passive, aggressive roaster. You say you're fine,
but the sarcasm is through the roof. You start low
key roasting everyone in your path, and people start wondering
if they should be offended. Or scared. You're ranting to
one friend while sending ten tweets about it. Yeah, I
(11:13):
already know. Be careful if you're passing a Gemini, you
might catch a stray.
Speaker 16 (11:22):
Hi November, Hi, good morning, No.
Speaker 11 (11:28):
Taurus, you guys are this silent treatment expert when you
are in a mood, but you won't say it, like,
you're just going to be extra slow to respond. You're
going to cancel plans and suddenly you become a professional
at ignoring everybody's text. You eventually talk about it, but
only after you've treated yourself to an expensive meal and
taken a nap.
Speaker 16 (11:47):
Well, that's true, that's true, Peyton. I gotta have my
nap and I gotta have my meal.
Speaker 11 (11:50):
Yeah, and then you're good.
Speaker 17 (11:51):
You're back to being happy, and then I'm okay, that's
most of us, all right, Hi, Harper him all.
Speaker 11 (12:06):
Right, Harper, I got you for Scorpio. So when you're
just in a bad mood, you are the one that's
secretly plotting on everyone, Like no one knows when you're
really mad until it's too late. You keep it all
bottled up. You acting normal and chill and cool, but
deep down, you're already planning your revenge, Harper, and when
you finally snap, good luck to whoever caused it.
Speaker 16 (12:25):
That's so true.
Speaker 18 (12:26):
Yeah, you Scorpio's your spicy h Harper.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Have a great day you too, Thank you bye, do
you ever?
Speaker 11 (12:36):
Libra Libra Kyle, you're the I swear I'm fine liar.
When you're in a mood, you hate confrontation, so you're
gonna say I'm fine while low Keith throwing shade. You'll
start to act extra nice, like too nice, smiling through
the pain, being a little too agreeable. And then you
go and you call your best friend and you rank
to them about how mad you actually are.
Speaker 10 (12:54):
It's probably very true.
Speaker 11 (12:57):
Richie, my pices, you are the everything is personal one.
When you are upset, it's never just one thing. Suddenly
everything hurts your feelings and you're deep in your main
character moment. You low key want people to notice, but
if they actually start asking what's wrong, you'll say nothing,
and then you'll just go cry about it later.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Hard you deny.
Speaker 11 (13:14):
Yeah, Leo Leo's. When we are in a mood, Leo's
we are the one where everyone needs to know everything.
We will not suffer in silence. We will text the
group chat, we will post a cryptic instant story and
we will dramatically sigh every five minutes. If nobody asks
a leo, we will bring it up ourselves because our
pain must be acknowledged. And this is so true.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
That is.
Speaker 11 (13:37):
Everybody's gonna hear me out.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Payton's coming to me with problems before I feel like I
give you the solution. Then I'm like, why did you
tell everybody else about your problem? But we gotta fix
I know.
Speaker 9 (13:45):
I love cryptic posts on Twitter and stuff where you
treat you like, oh, what's.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Going on with that?
Speaker 9 (13:51):
You know what it's like when it's uh good news,
like when someone will be like big things coming.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 11 (13:59):
How about Virgo Virgos, you are the overthinker. When you
are in a mood, you get mad, but instead of
expressing it, you make a mental list of everything that
has ever annoyed you about that person. You replay conversations
word for word, You overanalyze every little thing, and you
consider sending that paragraph text, but instead you just go silent.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Not even if we need to get to your sign there.
Speaker 9 (14:22):
I'll post on our website at Johnjenriched dot com.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
It's John J.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
And rich.
Speaker 9 (14:27):
I saw this thing about what's allowed on a plane,
what's not allowed on a.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Plane, and then uh did it change?
Speaker 9 (14:40):
Well, somebody was trying to bring well, I don't want
to tell you, well somebody you know what a.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Botch you ball is.
Speaker 10 (14:45):
It's isn't it just like a really heavy little ball?
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah? And they weren't allowed to bring it on a.
Speaker 10 (14:50):
Plane because it could be a weapon.
Speaker 9 (14:52):
Right, So I have a list, a little quiz. I
want to run by you guys. You tell me if
you can bring this on a plane or not. I'm
a s shetty. No, you cannot bring a machete on
an airplane.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Don't do that.
Speaker 9 (15:05):
A kumquat yes, yes, bochy ball no no, A single
knitting needle.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
No, yes you can, you can't, but not.
Speaker 9 (15:19):
To not to a can of gasoline no. A live lobster, yeah, yes,
you can bring a live los.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
If it's like one, be your weapon. It's an emotional
support lobster. Can you bring a bowling ball? No, yes
you can.
Speaker 11 (15:36):
You can bring a ball because the ball is smaller
and you can really throw.
Speaker 9 (15:41):
It, but you can hold it the three figures and
sad with it.
Speaker 10 (15:46):
You'll see it.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
If I were in the bachi community, I'd been sensed.
What about a snow globe, No, I don't know.
Speaker 11 (15:55):
It's like you've flown no liquid.
Speaker 9 (15:59):
Yeah, Kyle's right, but yes, if it's under three point
two fluid ounces you can bring in.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
What about a chainsaw? No?
Speaker 2 (16:07):
No?
Speaker 1 (16:07):
What about an ant farm with ants?
Speaker 11 (16:10):
No?
Speaker 9 (16:10):
Sure, yes, yes you can. You let all the ants out,
and then it's like, who let all these ants on
this mother ethan plane? There's hands on a plane? A
lightsaber a toy lightsaber, sure, yes, it says.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yes, but one time they would let them. They took
it away from my kid, a real lightsaber, I would think.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
No.
Speaker 9 (16:32):
What about the magic eight ball? Yes, yes, no, you cannot.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Bring liquid inside, probably dangerous. What about nail clippers? Yes yes?
Speaker 9 (16:42):
What about a pool queue, yes, poll queue, a pool queue, yeah,
it's like you're, you know, your shooting pool, shooting pool?
Speaker 1 (16:48):
The stick pool stick?
Speaker 11 (16:49):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (16:50):
A pool stick?
Speaker 1 (16:51):
No, no, you cannot.
Speaker 9 (16:52):
Really, A solid chocolate bar, yes, yes, A twelve inch
cast iron skillet.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Yes, no you cannot it give you a weapon, you're heavy,

Speaker 10 (17:25):
What oh I mean yeah, because I guess, like you know,
someone passes away?
Speaker 11 (17:29):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Those are some things to bring on a plane. So
I saw this thing BuzzFeed.
Speaker 9 (17:37):
This article off a BuzzFeed is making the rounds because
it highlights ridiculous British phrases that Americans can't believe are real, like.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
And kind. After I say the phrase, will you say
it in the English accent? Oh?
Speaker 19 (17:51):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Full of beans?
Speaker 10 (17:53):
That's full of beans.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
It means you're full of energy. Oh really like he's
a full of beans.
Speaker 9 (18:00):
This means if you throw a temper tantrum, you're throwing.
It's called throw a wobbly.
Speaker 10 (18:05):
All right now, don't throw a wobbley right now, you're
gonna be all right.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Okay. Now, this means it's cold outside. Brass monkeys, brass monkeys,
that funky monkey.
Speaker 9 (18:17):
They say this phrase that's about as useful as a
chocolate teapot.
Speaker 10 (18:21):
Well, that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
This next phrase means that you're going to jail.
Speaker 9 (18:27):
Spent the weekend at her majesty's pleasure, Well, you just.
Speaker 10 (18:34):
Spent the weekend at her majesty's pleasure.
Speaker 9 (18:37):
This next phrase means to make fun of someone, or
someone's crossing the line and it's taking the mickey.
Speaker 10 (18:43):
All right, now, you're taking the mickey on that one.
Speaker 9 (18:47):
This next phrase means you're losing your mind, gone completely delayly.
Speaker 11 (18:52):
I've gone completely delightly, right now, what's happening?
Speaker 9 (18:57):
This next phrase means like takes the cake, but in
a negative way, usually used to show frustration.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
The phrases takes the biscuit, what takes the bisky? Okay?
Speaker 9 (19:08):
This next phrase means just like that, and the phrases
Bob's your uncle.
Speaker 10 (19:14):
Oh yeah, and then Bob's your uncle, and then Bob's
your uncle.
Speaker 11 (19:21):
We went to the house.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Well you know what you here too is when they
say just bugger out of nowhere. Bugger Yeah, but Bob's
your uncle. I've heard quite a bit like on TV. No,
we go to the bank, we do this, and then
Bob's your uncle.
Speaker 9 (19:33):
If you watch the movie with Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein,
they do a whole thing on a word that we
can never ever say, and how that word in England
is just casual. But he gets set to human resources
per se.
Speaker 10 (19:45):
It's not a good word.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Not a good word. Good morning, and.
Speaker 11 (19:50):
Start your day with John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
I wake up with my favorite artist. Hey, this is
Sabrina Carpentry.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
What's up, guys, boone, as you're waking up with John
Jay and Rich.
Speaker 10 (20:01):
Bags, stacks and nags chun Jay and Rich.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
All right, I have stacks of information. Rich has life hacks.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
A new study found the average Americans commute is worth
eight and fifty eight dollars a year.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
That's not including gas.
Speaker 9 (20:18):
It's just how much the average worker would get if
they were paid for all the time commuting.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Wow, you guys drive a lot too, I don't a lot.
Speaker 9 (20:26):
According to new survey, the average dinner time is six
forty four PM. At that time, forty percent of people
forty four percent of people eat in the kitchen, thirty
five percent of people eating the dining room table, twenty
five percent eat at a table in the living room,
and the rest eat on the couch.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
I love eating on the couch. I love it so much.
Speaker 11 (20:42):
I eat my.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Room you too, like like on the bed.
Speaker 11 (20:47):
Yeah, but also I feel like that's just what happens
when you live with your grandma.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Well, like we actually have we have low key disagreements
about that because my wife loved to eat bed yeah,
could eat.
Speaker 11 (20:57):
I get crumbs everywhere.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
It's a bedtime to salat, Like that is gross. I
do not want to roll over on a creuton. And
she thinks it's hilarious. Last night she thought I was.
I was in the basement in my studio and she
thought she could get away with it. So I came
up and she said, oh, bedtime doritos, And I'm like,
that is so gross. Why can't you eat in the
kitchen and move?
Speaker 10 (21:20):
And He's like, she could get away with it.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
She said, I was being terrible. I'm like you much.
She's liked bed brito.
Speaker 10 (21:27):
Richie is down in the basement. We all know rich
has really great hearing. He here's the crunch of a
chip and runs upstairs. I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
She's like, you were downstairs for hours.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
You know.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
I get one ship and you're up here. You know.
I met flattys night when I worked in Dallas. I
worked for a station that did these concerts and she
was doing a like a little show for the radio station.
They were all hanging out in rehearsals and she walks
up to me. She's like, I'm supposed to go up
and rehearse, but I ain't had one chip.
Speaker 20 (22:00):
Give me a chip, give me a back of chip.
So all right, I'll go get your back of chip.
So I go get her a bag of chips. Nothing said.
She does the concert. She thanks me during the show
for a bag of chip. She's like, because this man,
I got a bag of chips. That's why I'm sicking
to night. So she was very cool. I like her
a lot. She's a cool lady.
Speaker 9 (22:16):
AI note taking apps are getting employees in trouble with
HR So have you guys seen these AI note taking apps.
It's common for a few people to stick around on
Zoom and keep chatting after Mini ends. They forget the
AI still listening, and it's they spill gossip and their
comments get shared with the whole teams. A list of
(22:36):
amazing foods that other people people think are orated is trending,
like truffle oil, tomahawk steaks, hot honey ranch, macaroons, Dubai chocolate,
macha and smash burgers.
Speaker 10 (22:49):
I agree with.
Speaker 11 (22:51):
I don't because the hot honey on a pepperoni pizza
with ranch, that's.
Speaker 10 (22:55):
The one I don't agree with. I don't. That's that's
that's twenty percent. It's like the hot honey and the ranch,
but everything else in there I kind.
Speaker 11 (23:03):
Of agree with.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Have you heard of chef Gordon Ramsay talk about never
using truffle oil though he said truffles, ruffle butter, whatever
is okay, But truffle oil is made from the same
stuff that they make perfume from, So it's chemical like chemicals,
and you don't want to adjust that.
Speaker 9 (23:19):
Toyota is recalling more than one hundred and forty thousand
pre assistices. We're having doors that can unexpectedly open. I
think you have one of those.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Weight you're riches. I do I actually have a door
that unexpectedly open? Yeah? You take it.
Speaker 9 (23:30):
In A random poll asks how do you feel about
other people making puns?
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Fourteen percent of people say they love it, three percent
hate it. A pun? What's a pun? Rich? A pun
that would be like a clever little joke or a
funny little joke that's funny. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (23:49):
Men are more into puns than women. We should be surprising.
Younger adults like them more than older fish.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
They're like, they're like dad jokes, little tiny dad jokes.
What do you got for uh, life hacks? Little tiny dad. Well,
here's a hack. When you're trying a little tiny dad.
When you're trying to learn something, here's a hack that'll
work for you. Don't just read it, don't just highlight it.
The secret to learning something, say the experts, is pretending
that you have to teach it to somebody else out loud.
(24:16):
Explain it like they know nothing, because the moment that
you can teach it, you actually understand it. If you
can't explain it yet, then you don't know it yet.
That is the hack. Learn it like you're gonna teach
it to somebody for the first time. Then you know
your material. That hack, and many more can be found
at John Jayne rich dot com.
Speaker 9 (24:42):

because there's a leak downstairs, which I need to know
that they could do that, and they caught me crouched
(25:48):
over my half felt dresser.
Speaker 1 (25:50):

So that's good.
Speaker 9 (26:55):
Walking outside in the rain, that seems kind of fun.
Wit before I go anymore, anybody here, what do you
guys do? Anybody does anything non sexual in the nude?
Speaker 11 (27:04):
I am never naked, cooked naked before?
Speaker 9 (27:07):
Oh cookie naked says here. This person lost a bet
and had the fry bacon in the nuds.
Speaker 11 (27:14):
Mine was just like, you know, you're in between doing stuff.
You gotta go hop in the shower, go run, flip
a burger.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
You know, Kyle, you got nothing like that.
Speaker 10 (27:22):
I like run through my house though I'm not like
casually strolling. Come on, no, I'm not like doing my
Sunday chores nude.
Speaker 18 (27:31):
Yes, yes, I feel like all of the naked moms
are gonna come out right now, because there's those moms
that literally did.
Speaker 9 (27:43):
Wait please, I'm visualizing. This person said they were too
being in Colorado. My bikini bottoms and a tube got
whipped away in a rapid. Luckily, nice lady grabbed me,
put me on her tube, and we found both my
bottoms and tube down the stream. Oh riding a horse,
this person said, riding a horse bareback. Unclear if it
was saddled the bareback. This person says swimming in the
(28:05):
Everglades until I saw an alligator.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
They were swimming naked in the Everglades.
Speaker 9 (28:10):
Someone joked I danced naked in front of a full
length mirror and admiring my weight loss only downside. I'm
now banned for my KIA. This person ran through a
really old graveyard on Hallowey night totally naked. This person
was walked off into the woods naked within the National
Park and wanted around for a couple of days before
finding civilization again. Someone said they played a dancing game
(28:33):
on Xbox connecting nude.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
They were home alone.
Speaker 9 (28:36):
On a hot summer day, and why not, right, So
there you go eight seven, seven, nine, three, seven, one
oh four seven.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Ari Ella, good morning, by good morning. What non sexual
thing did you do in the nude?
Speaker 16 (28:51):
So first, I saying that I live in a place
where the screens headholes in the windows, and sometimes you
would leave the door open for the air to come
through so that lightlets in lots of flies, and before
I had kids, I would sometimes sleep in the nude,
and just the way that flies like to do, fly
and buzz around all over your face. I just got
(29:14):
sick and tired of it. So I jumped up. I
yelled something like not today, junior, or something like that,
grabbed the flyswater and started killing all the flies that
I could see. And I'm not talking just killing. I'm
talking like hunting them down and jumping in the air,
hitting them like tennis balls midair like and then when
(29:36):
it was all done, I just went back to sleep.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
So you killed hundreds of flies in the nude.
Speaker 16 (29:45):
It was a lot, I don't know hundreds, all.
Speaker 9 (29:48):
Right, Thanks for calling in, Thank you for listening. Welcome
by more of your calls. Next eight seven seven nine
three seven four seven. What's the craziest non sexual thing
you've done in the buff eight seven seven nine three
seven one four seven Brenna, Hello, what have you done
(30:12):
in the nude?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Non sexual?
Speaker 15 (30:14):
Oh?
Speaker 21 (30:15):
So, my friends and I decided to have a lake
day and after a few years, one of my friends
sided to go tops, so we all decided to join her.
And then I got dared to run into the lake nude,
so I said, sure, why not?
Speaker 5 (30:30):
Ran in, turned.
Speaker 21 (30:31):
Around, saw the rangers walking down, said oh no, I'm busted,
and they said, we don't really want to kick you out,
but the boy Scouts are here.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
They want you to leave. Oh my god, Oh my god.
Speaker 10 (30:45):
Boy a whole.
Speaker 21 (30:46):
Troop of boy Scouts And then I had to be
the walk of she in past all of them before
I got kicked out. The rangers came back and said,
we feel bad about kicking you out, but the boy
Scouts said, you probably tripled their turnout the next years.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, that's legend.
Speaker 9 (31:04):
That boy Scout trip is legendary in the history books.
Speaker 10 (31:08):
Boy Scout troop leaders are like, how do we explain
this to their parents?
Speaker 9 (31:14):
Thanks Bred, Thanks for listening and sharing that story. Thank
you Thank you, Sophia. What did you do in the buff?
But it was non sexual?
Speaker 14 (31:23):
Oh? Hi, guys. I had a friend I think we
were like in our late teens, and we just decided
one night it was raining out and it was like
warm out, and we decided we were gonna get naked
and run around out in the yard and around the
house in the rain, and then we went back inside.
(31:45):
They had a pool table in their house, and we
were just like, hey, let's play pool.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
All right. Well, thank you for sharing that.
Speaker 9 (31:55):
There's a story in the news as a sixty two
year old man in Florida was arrested marching over to
his neighbor's house at three am to destroy a malfunctioning floodlight.
So I kind of get it at his floodlights, just
blinking and blinking and blinking. He did it completely naked
except for a watch, a headlamp and flip flops.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
You see that?
Speaker 11 (32:17):
Actually, how mad do you have to be that you
forget to put clothes on?
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Dara, good morning, Good morning. What crazy thing did you do?
Non sexual? You were totally naked.
Speaker 15 (32:27):
I got locked outside of my hotel room while chaperoning
for my sixth grade son's field trip and everybody got
a show. So, as you can imagine, that was pretty
traumatic for everybody, and I'm so bummed. I just dropped
my son off because he would love to tell you,
guys that actually he would not love to tell you.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
How do you get locked out?
Speaker 15 (32:49):
So it's a long story, but to put it short,
to try and set the background, we were doing an
overnight stay at a college, and so we were in
a dorm room. Were staying in dorm rooms. I had
my own and I was going to take a shower.
And so the way that the dorm rooms were set
up is there was two that were in a locked
(33:09):
you know room I guess, so two bedrooms, and then
the shower was there, but you had to leave your
room to go to the shower. So I shut my
door went to go and take a shower, and once
I got out of the shower, I realized that I
left my towel and my phone and everything else in
the room. So I went to grab it and the
door was locked it. Oh yeah, I see, make it's better.
(33:31):
But then I'm looking around and there's nothing to cover me.
I was waiting there for maybe ten minutes with the
door cracked open, trying to see if anybody was walking
by to ask for help, you know, to see if
somebody can lock the door. And the only thing I
was like, I'm gonna have to make a decision here
and girl were to ask for help, but I had nothing.
(33:52):
I was completely naked, and so the only thing that
was there was those little tiny sea through track sliners.
So there was two of them, and they were tiny,
and again they were see through, so anything that was
covered was not really cut. So I had to cover myself.
(34:15):
And I knew that there was a mom across the hallway,
so I'm like, no one's come by and forever, I'm
gonna make a run for it. So I literally go
right across the hallway and start pounding on her door.
And then I hear my door shut like the main door,
and so I can't get back in. It's locked. And
then that's when I hear all these loud boys, six
(34:36):
grade boys coming up the stairs, and I'm like, oh,
because where can you go? There's nothing you can do,
So I wall cover myself with these little shaft liners.
And not only was it my son and his it
was five or six other boys. It was his teacher
and it's principal.
Speaker 11 (34:55):
No, oh my god. They were like, you're no longer
allowed to chef brown.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
So are you?
Speaker 9 (35:02):
You are naked naked? You're totally naked, naked, naked.
Speaker 15 (35:05):
It's very very nice to me and my kids since
that day.
Speaker 9 (35:10):
So they walk up, you're totally naked, and do they
someone open the door for you finally or do you
just walking by like.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
They don't see you?
Speaker 15 (35:20):
The fun No? No note. So the principal was like,
because the boys are like and they're dogs.
Speaker 8 (35:28):
So the principle like, keep.
Speaker 15 (35:29):
Going and he's like, you know, hurting them out the
out the hallway. And then he comes back. He's like,
you could see like I have to go get a
key to get in there downstairs, but you can stay
in my room until I get your key. And so
he let me into his room and gave me a
towel and whatever, and so he had me concealed. But yeah,
(35:51):
like I said, it's been very nice.
Speaker 9 (35:52):
What a great what a great memory for those boys.
How old is your son?
Speaker 1 (35:59):
How old is he now?
Speaker 9 (36:00):
Out?
Speaker 1 (36:00):
How old is he now?
Speaker 15 (36:01):
He's twelve, he's still in sixth grade.
Speaker 10 (36:06):
It's so fresh.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
Love a beautiful story.
Speaker 15 (36:09):
Friends always walked by, They're like.
Speaker 9 (36:11):
Hi, Yeah, that is a great, great, fantastic story, thank
you for sharing with us.
Speaker 15 (36:21):
Made our day.
Speaker 9 (36:23):
I can't help but just think that maybe one of
those boys had something to do with it.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Well they don't. They lock the door on their own.
Speaker 9 (36:31):
If you have any other ones, shoot us a call
eight seven seven nine three seven four seven or damn
John j VanNess it John Jay and rich Our phone
numbers eight seven seven nine three seven one o four
seven The text line text jj R whatever you want
to say a number nine six eight ninety three. I
(36:53):
don't really read a text or two before right right
when I give out the text number, but I don't
want to because I want to know this story. Riches
said it to me with me last night, goes, I
saved someone's life today.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Whoa You know, a hero is rarely called upon at
the time, but they're choosing like I was yesterday while
Kyle was on TV doing a media segment. My phone
rang and it was Paint. She said, right, I'm dying.
(37:25):
You said Peyton's life.
Speaker 10 (37:26):
That's funny, he did. I gotta go, I gotta go
save Peyton.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
She's she's dying down there, kid, She's dying.
Speaker 9 (37:31):
She instead of working the camera for you said you
had to your faces on TV.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
I actually texted Peyton's I could save your life, but
after Kyle's segment because I don't want to walk in
her shot. That's exactly what the said, right ye. So, uh,
Peyton had a dead battery in her car and I'm like,
I gotta have jumper cables. I got all kinds of
emergency stuff in my truck and I did not have
jumper cables in my car at all. I had like
(37:57):
I had like scissors if you need to cut something,
and a couple of little screwdrivers, and some some alcohol
swabs if you needed to be surprised shock you have
all kinds of.
Speaker 10 (38:06):
The tire r.
Speaker 9 (38:09):
Break your windshield, and a hurricane.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
I think what it is. It speaks to me flipping
out cars too much because I didn't have the right
kit in my car for such a car emergency. So
we had to borrow jumper cables for Peyton's car. And
then from who from promotions went to like the the
kiss Fan okay.
Speaker 10 (38:29):
Jump because I was expecting like no one to be downstairs.
When I went downstairs and Peyton was there, I was like,
didn't rich jump your car like he didn't have the cables.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
I was like, what, yeah, so disurpressed, but Rich was gone.
Speaker 10 (38:42):
No, he was still there too.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
Yah.
Speaker 10 (38:44):
I didn't see him, don't He was like further down
in the parking lot.
Speaker 11 (38:48):
I didn't see him at the time that I huss up. Yeah,
So now you guys understand, Like why I called Rich
because I thought, obviously, obviously everyone here, Rich is gonna
have this. I would have called Rich for exactly and
so I was a little upset that he kind of
failed me. But you did stay because you loan me
your car. When we jumped jumped mine, and it was interesting.
(39:09):
It was an interesting kind of I guess dilemma because
the car, my car wouldn't turnover like we were. We
had the cables connected, but it just would not turn over.
So I was like, okay, I probably have a dead battery.
So once we were able to get my car jumped, satisfying, right,
it was pretty satisfying. Did we did the thing? We
(39:30):
did the thing, and I hop in the car and
I go and drive to go get a new battery.
So my dad is the car person in our family.
So I call my dad. I'm like, hey, my battery's dead.
What do I do? He said, go to this store.
We just got you one, probably about a year and
a half ago. It's probably under warranty. So I'm like okay.
I drive over there and I beat my dad by
about five minutes to the store. So I walk into
(39:50):
the store. I have my dad on the phone with me.
I'm talking to the guy at the store and I'm
looking around and I don't see him anywhere, and then
he's like standing behind me. He let me stand there
for like five minutes service the store before he said anything,
and I was like, Hey, actually, the.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
Guy, the Guy's guy.
Speaker 11 (40:04):
The guy. So my dad's just on the phone as
I'm talking to the guy at the store and I'm
telling the guy. I'm like, hey, I just need my
battery to be checked, and he says, well, I can't
help you. And I was like oh. I was like,
because I've come here before to get my battery checked
and you guys have always been willing to do it.
He's like, well, I can't help you. You have to
go to this store. And I was like, okay, Like
can you explain why to me you can't help me?
(40:26):
Like I'm kind of confused. And he said, I'm the
only person in this store, so I can't leave. And
I said, okay, that makes sense. That makes sense. You
have to protect the goods, the merchandise.
Speaker 10 (40:35):
You can't walk outside, yeah, because I mean the cash
registers are probably just sitting right there waiting for someone
to jack everything exactly.
Speaker 11 (40:41):
Okay, So I understand his logic. He's being a little
a little.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
Brash with me that I was like, I was kind.
Speaker 11 (40:47):
Of like, okay. And so my dad had thought that
I had turned off my car in the parking lot,
so he goes, Hey, ask him if he has jumper
cable so I can come to you and rejump your car.
So I asked the guy, do you have any jumper cables?
And he's like, well, why would you need jumper cables?
And I was like, okay, maybe not. And I was like,
I was just on the phone with my dad. I
was like, hey, that was a little awkward. I'm leaving.
(41:07):
So I walk outside. I go and I meet my
dad at the other store, kind of like probably two
miles away. I walk in. My dad tells me as
I see him, he goes. So I called the store
that we just left. My dad called the store and goes, hey,
I was on the phone with my daughter. Seemed like
you were giving her a pretty hard time. Can you
explain what was going on?
Speaker 5 (41:29):
And he goes and you and hangs up on him. Dad,
and listen, y'all, I am, I am your daddy's daughter.
(41:49):
So fast, y'all know how much of a firecracker I am.
Speaker 11 (41:53):
My dad was not happening. He was super, super upset
for one, because this guy just came crazy at his daughter,
and then for two went crazy at him. So we
go up to the store, we're talking about it, and
actually the guy that helped me get my new battery
and stuff like that, he was like, we actually have
had some problems with that specific store. Here's the district number.
And literally was like, snitch on this guy.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Was it No, it was evacuate because that's how he
does business. Most of those stores. They'll just flip out
your back. You're like, yeah, it's a dead we'll go flip.
We'll flip it out for you right now, right here.
Speaker 11 (42:24):
And I understood, Yeah, I understood his logic on why
he couldn't come help me, but why you could have.
Speaker 10 (42:28):
There's a different way to deliver that information. Oh, I'm
so sorry. I love to but I've got a responsibility
in here.
Speaker 11 (42:35):
Yeah. Yeah, And like the slams to my dad though,
like he could have just explained it to him.
Speaker 1 (42:39):
But I know he should have said to you him
by myself, please don't kill your engine or else should
battery is really going to be dead. But I know
they got a few guys down here that can do it. Yeah,
they're waiting for you. Let me call ahead. Yeah, that's
the way you handled it.
Speaker 9 (42:50):
Why I'm surprised your dad didn't go okay and drive
over there.
Speaker 11 (42:54):
Oh he thought about it. Yeah, he thought about it,
because as we were leaving, he was like, are you
gonna go back up there? And I said, are you
gonna go back up there? We go back up there together,
and I was like, I was like, are we gonna
go press this man? And he looked at me and
he's like, I shouldn't, And I said, you definitely shouldn't
because my dad like has a very hot temper. And
if the guy had the guts to say that to
(43:15):
him on the phone, lord knows what he's gonna say
in person, and that probably would end up with my
dad in handcuffs and in prison.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
Yeah, but you should still call whoever the district office is.
Speaker 10 (43:26):
Attorney is like, whoever owns that location doesn't want that
to be the representation.
Speaker 11 (43:31):
He had that same exact thing, and that store was empty.
Where's the one that we got sent to? Was packed?
And I was like, that's pretty telling.
Speaker 9 (43:38):
Yeah, that's this whole story. Is another reason I don't
drive an electric car.
Speaker 11 (43:43):
I don't drive an electric car.
Speaker 10 (43:46):
I think the gas car actually jump. I don't think
you pump an electric car. No, we don't have an engine.
There's no engines up to But isn't it under the car?
Speaker 9 (43:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (44:00):
Maybe there is a way.
Speaker 10 (44:01):
I am not versed on that, but I don't like
like when you open the hood, it's a fronk. It's
not an engine.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
You watch your language in here.
Speaker 10 (44:08):
It's a front trunk.
Speaker 11 (44:09):
Rich, Oh all.
Speaker 9 (44:11):
Right, all right, we'll pay for God, you're okay, And
we're not gonna say the name of the business.
Speaker 11 (44:15):
No, no, no, no, not yet.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Until they issued a formal apology.
Speaker 9 (44:20):
Until then, I'm canceling all my Disney Wait, I'll get
all my stories next week. Nicole and Dominique, good morning,
good morning, what's.
Speaker 6 (44:34):
Up, hey guys?
Speaker 12 (44:38):
We just have a little we We got a new
touchphrase from you guys from your show, and we're surprised
that you guys didn't pick up on it. It's hilarious,
of course, but as as we listened to you. We
listen to you guys every morning on our way to work.
And a couple of weeks ago, on board the Roses,
I don't remember the people that.
Speaker 16 (44:54):
Were on it, but we remember who.
Speaker 12 (44:56):
The roses were sent to or who the roses were
going to be from, and was this girl called Quinn.
This guy called his girlfriend or whatever saying that she's
been weird and you know, something's been going on. He
wants see who she'd send the flowers to, and she
picked this, she said, Quinn, and her boyfriend's like, what,
(45:16):
who's Quinn?
Speaker 16 (45:17):
Whatever?
Speaker 12 (45:18):
And come to find out, she sat him down, explained
everything to this guy like I think I'm into girl
this and that you know, this isn't really gonna go anywhere,
pretty much telling him like she's not interested. So he
was just stuck on stupid, like, uh, what, who's Quinn.
So then anyways, at the end of the segment, as
(45:39):
you guys are saying goodbye, she says like under her breast.
She's like, Quinn wouldn't do this, and so that is
now our like catchphrase for.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
That's in her mind.
Speaker 12 (45:55):
Someone cuts this off, We're.
Speaker 9 (45:56):
Like, Quinn wouldn't do this.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
That's amazing.
Speaker 12 (46:04):
It was so funny.
Speaker 9 (46:06):
We got to find it and play it, and we
also got to get that should be a catchphrase. We
start make John Jay rich T shirts John J T shirt.
In the back, I'll say Quinn wouldn't do this and
get one. You buy one, you buy one, and then
when you wear it people, it's like we're part of
a club.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
But you know, I didn't know Quinn.
Speaker 15 (46:21):
You're asking me crazy questions on the radio.
Speaker 1 (46:24):
U is Quinn? The person in the picture that you
sent me from the dressing room? Is that who Quinn is?
Speaker 16 (46:32):
We talked about this. Why are you acting confused?
Speaker 1 (46:35):
I I mean, I didn't know anything about women? What Jordan?
I think you look at this all wrong.
Speaker 9 (46:44):
If it was ever a time in my life where
I was single and I'm dating and the girl I'm
dating says I want to explore with women, that would
be like winning the lottery.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
My friend.
Speaker 15 (46:53):
I'm not sticking around for this.
Speaker 1 (46:55):
Quinn's in the league.
Speaker 9 (46:56):
You know what, you know what?
Speaker 15 (46:58):
Quinn wouldn't do this.
Speaker 9 (47:00):
I think, Oh my gosh, that just made my day.
I'm looking at new shirt people. I'm gonna see if
I get a demo made right now. This is quin

g h T Yes, Oh gotcha?
Speaker 17 (47:40):

Speaker 1 (47:41):

Speaker 9 (47:43):
I can't believe. I can't believe you corrected us on
how to spell it. You know, Quid wouldn't do this.
You're right, all right, you guys have a great day.
Speaker 12 (47:55):
Thanks for listening, you too, Bye bye bye.
Speaker 9 (48:06):
I have trivia for Peyton, Kyle and Rich. I'm calling this.

Speaker 1 (48:23):
What is the capital of Italy?
Speaker 10 (48:25):

Speaker 11 (48:26):

Speaker 1 (48:27):
Looking for Rome? Those are both countries. I would have
also taken capital. I man maybe we just end the
game right here without let's do Peyton smarter than.
Speaker 11 (48:44):
Where you probably are?
Speaker 1 (48:46):
Is Peyton smarter than the fifth grade.
Speaker 11 (48:48):
Struggled in school? Obviously really hard?
Speaker 9 (48:51):
Like even if you got can you name a city
in Italy outside of Rome?
Speaker 11 (48:55):
Sienna? What Sienna?
Speaker 1 (48:58):
That? Nna?
Speaker 11 (49:00):
You are close?
Speaker 1 (49:03):
You're thinking of Peyton? What gas do humans breathe to survive?
Speaker 11 (49:09):
Carbon monoxide?
Speaker 1 (49:11):
Wrong? Look at for oxygen?
Speaker 10 (49:12):
Carbon monoxide kills you?
Speaker 1 (49:14):
Doesn't all right? Peyton? Trying I beg you down?
Speaker 9 (49:16):
Are you.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
How many legs does the spider have? Yes?
Speaker 9 (49:22):
What is twelve multiplied by twelve onour Yes?
Speaker 1 (49:27):
What is the freezing point of water in fahrenheit?
Speaker 11 (49:33):
In fahrenheit? Huh, don't blow zero?
Speaker 1 (49:37):
You know the answer to that?
Speaker 11 (49:38):
Thirty two?
Speaker 1 (49:39):
Thirty two, Peyton?
Speaker 9 (49:40):
What is the largest mammal in the world? A mammal,
the largest mammal in the world?
Speaker 11 (49:49):
What okay? Humans?
Speaker 1 (49:53):
Is it a blue waves? Peyton? What do you call
a shape with five sides?
Speaker 11 (50:01):
That's a stop sign? No shape of five side?
Speaker 10 (50:07):
The hexagon, the pentagon?
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Mother, I've got it.
Speaker 9 (50:12):
Yeah, cheddar school district and come take away your middle
school to blow up?
Speaker 10 (50:17):
Excuse people excel as Peyton was a very gifted athlete.
Speaker 11 (50:21):
Yeah, and I was a very gifted chatterbox. I got
in trouble all the time. There's going to be out
into hallways for disruptions on the daily. Also, I didn't
go to middle school. I went to junior high.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
And you're emotionally wise, Peyton? What is what?
Speaker 9 (50:32):
Which US state is known as the Sunshine State Florida?
Speaker 20 (50:36):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (50:38):
How many days are in a leap year?
Speaker 11 (50:40):
Okay? This one's always really hard. Okay. So there's three
hundred and sixty five days in a year? So three
hundred and sixty six?
Speaker 1 (50:48):
Yes, Okay. What planet is closest to the sun?
Speaker 11 (50:53):
Who knows that?
Speaker 1 (50:54):
Everybody?
Speaker 11 (50:55):
Um, it's gotta be hot. Let's go to Mars.
Speaker 1 (50:59):
Look or Mercury. How many hours are in a day?
Speaker 11 (51:02):
Twenty four?
Speaker 9 (51:03):
What is the first letter of the alphabet?
Speaker 1 (51:14):
I'll just leave it there. Go to middle school?
Speaker 9 (51:18):
Can't you get through the middle schools?
Speaker 1 (51:21):
What's on your mind? Rich? There's a beautiful summer day yesterday.
So everything's kind of green outside and lush. And I
walk out my front door to get a package, and
I look beyond the front door and I see right
smack dab in the middle of the walkway that leads
to my front door. A big dead bird. It looks
(51:46):
like it's strategically placed there, not like it flew into
a window, not like it was dropped by a cat
that was having it for a meal or something like that,
but a strategically placed dead bird. It it made me
think is that good or bad luck? And I'm afraid
to look it up.
Speaker 11 (52:03):
There was strategically place that seems like somebody's trying to
tell you something.
Speaker 1 (52:07):
Well, maybe so, and I was afraid to look it up.
So I go and I walk a little closer to
the dead bird, and it definitely looked like it didn't
just drop dead there. It looked like it was placed there.
So I wonder, is that some kind of bad omen
or is it a good luck meaning your future is
going to be bright? And I've been afraid to look
it up, so I forget. I'd come in here and.
Speaker 10 (52:26):
Ask, well, you poo pooed the idea of a cat
eating it as food, But cats actually do kill animals
as gifts, So perhaps there is a cat in your
neighborhood that's trying to win your affection.
Speaker 1 (52:39):
It didn't look like it had befallen any teeth, barks.
It just looked like it stopped living.
Speaker 10 (52:44):
Did you grab a microscope?
Speaker 1 (52:47):
I did not?
Speaker 11 (52:49):
Okay, Well what about this way? I know like a
lot of people put like rat poisons or poisons or
whatever to keep the insects away. Yeah, put a bird
maybe have dabbled in some poison and then walked its
way over towards you.
Speaker 1 (53:01):
And then I generally don't drop poison.
Speaker 11 (53:04):
In my well, not you, but like a neighbor, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (53:07):
Putting poison in my front yard.
Speaker 10 (53:08):
Oh, you better check your neighbors, you.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Know what they say.
Speaker 10 (53:13):
Sometimes the animals know this stuff before the human.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
Right, So if you look up dead bar, look is
it good or bad? Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna tell
you right now. I'm gonna read a word for word. Okay.
Speaker 9 (53:24):
Finding a dead bird is rarely a sign of bad
luck or doom, but rather it is often interpreted symbolically
as a message of transition, significant change, or the end
of a life phase. While sometimes viewed as a warning
or a sign of lost innocence, many culture seen as
a prompt to let go of old energies, transform or
experience personal rebirth.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
I think you're gonna become a woman.
Speaker 10 (53:48):
Wow, congratulations, you're so topical.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
Because the bird was there, I have to.
Speaker 10 (53:56):
You didn't want to before, but now you have to disclaimer.
Speaker 9 (53:59):
What if the bird appears to have died from a disease,
it is best to avoid contact and report it to
local wildlife authorities.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
You broke the law. I just grabbed a shovel and
put it in the trash. And what it looked like
a like a big black like a crow. It was
light bird. Well, I don't know. I guess we'll see,
you know, we have. We came home from because we
were traveling a lot. We came home and we have
(54:28):
this dog, Bella, that we had for She's an amazing beautiful dog,
but birds attack her for some reason, and she takes
him out.
Speaker 9 (54:33):
And I know it's had it on video before. We
see a bird flying down attacker and she gets up
boomp for her. And so we came home and there
was just just thousands of feathers. I think Bella knocks
the birds out and then Charlie eats it. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
Yeah, well I definitely don't have my dog. Jango's not attacking.
Speaker 10 (54:54):
Anything doggy superhero duo.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
Yeah, no, he's just taking a nap. If you've got
to comment, you a dead bird's good look of bad?
Speaker 9 (55:03):

Speaker 9 (01:00:54):
Oh, kile.
Speaker 10 (01:00:57):

going to go back on that. I literally, you, guys,
I'm not even kidding you, Like I am endorsing bellywelly

and a half two months ago, and I feel like
a different person, Like I am like pooping every day.
Speaker 11 (01:01:14):
It's never happened in my life.
Speaker 10 (01:01:16):
That's literally never.
Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
Look at it.
Speaker 10 (01:01:21):
And you know what it's like, I feel like my
stomachs flatter because of it.
Speaker 11 (01:01:24):
Okay, yeah, yeah, it's like I've never felt like this before.
It feels good.
Speaker 22 (01:01:31):
Oh my gosh, John Jay, I just had to say
I couldn't agree more. Flies gross me out so bad too,
and yes, slatting them with a fly slaughter. And what's
even more gross is people who leave them on surfaces
where people eat and drink. Oh, that drives me crazy.
It happens in businesses and in homes, and I just
(01:01:51):
don't understand it.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
You don't hear something gross.
Speaker 9 (01:01:54):
So flies gross me out, Like I can't touch them,
they gross me out. And when you open up our refrigerator,
like we have those two refrigerator doors on the left
hand side of the top there's like a dead fly
upside down and I can't touch it, and I don't
want to clean it because I'll make me throw up.
And I don't want to tell my wife because I
feel like that's disrespectful.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
But what would you clean it? So I'm just leaving
it there.
Speaker 9 (01:02:12):
Oh, and I feel like that's even more groud so
gro so I only open up the right side of
the refrigerator.
Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
Now, I don't whatever, just use.
Speaker 10 (01:02:19):
Something to like it'll make me but you look away,
like look away when.
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
You do it, look away, and it'll fall on the ground.
Speaker 10 (01:02:26):
And then it's like, oh you hold the like hold
a little trash can up, saying no, no matter what
it's going over, and then just kind.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Of like I'm like, how the hell do the fly
get in there? The hell? You know?
Speaker 9 (01:02:35):
I had a bird go in my garage the other day. Really,
that's actually kind of scary. Well, so they get there.
I got the house, the garage door was open, I
walked into the garage. I closed the garage door, and
I went into my sauna and I'm in my sauna
and then I sees bird flying around and I'm like, oh, no,
how do I get this bird out of my garage? Well,
I mean, I don't want to get out of the
sauna because I'm already in the sauna and I feel bad.
(01:02:57):
So I was like talking to the bird bird, and
then Blake comes home, opens a garage door, and the
bird I takes off and she walks over to me
and she goes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Did you see that bird? I go yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:03:09):
She goes, why didn't you open the garage I I
didn't know the bird was in the garage until the
garage door closed.
Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
Anyway, that bird's going around telling everybody there's a song
in there. There's like a human zoo.
Speaker 9 (01:03:19):
You go see this guy sitting there.
Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
I wish my husband was desensitized to grow stuff. He
still kind of pukes up in his mouth when our
toddler needs her diaper change, and he says, bads.
Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
Well, Toddler's that's that's real. That's real stuff.
Speaker 23 (01:03:42):
Hey, good morning guys, John Jay. I wanted to tell
you that you're not wrong. I used to have the
Jane Lotto app and I used it from time to
time for emergencies as well, and one day hensteriously disappeared.
I couldn't find it on my phone anymore. But what
I found is that they must have restructured or something,
because now you can install the app under the just
the name alatto dot com and it is a legit
(01:04:05):
third party. You usually get the copies of the lottery
tickets via email.
Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
Huh, yeah, I had that. I don't have it anymore.
Speaker 9 (01:04:13):
It's really weird, but I have a body of things
since we talked about it, because I felt I was
losing all my.
Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Money to the lotto. Anyway, that's how it works.
Speaker 9 (01:04:21):
We got tickets to see Madison Beer and we're gonna
play Remember the Time, and we need to contestant right now.
Good morning, Jen, Jen. Hmmm, I wonder why that's not working.
Let me try that again.
Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
Cheese wiize gen Come on, all right, that's all right, heymen,
it's okay.
Speaker 9 (01:04:44):
You know, it's like the iHeart slogan is guaranteed human,
and there you go. We're all guaranteed humans. All right,
Let's play Member the Time.
Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
Okay. It's all kinds of things for your Genda's movies.
It's TV. It's pop culture all mushified into one big montage.
You just gotta tell me what year it all happened. Players, Ready,
let's remember the time.
Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
Classic sasive lest all is fair in Love and war,
Misspnie Richardson, show you all my attention. Get these are
(01:05:26):
only intentions.
Speaker 10 (01:05:30):
This world is not yet ready for all that you
will do. Her crime will come, Diana.
Speaker 11 (01:05:40):
And everything will be different, right.
Speaker 4 (01:05:45):
That right?
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Fust size Okay, a couple of bonus clues for you.
This was also the year that zoom became a verb
and murder hornets arrived in the USA too. Remember the
murder hornets. That was a big scare. Okay, Jen, what
did you hear? What did you recognize? What year do
you think that went down?
Speaker 6 (01:06:06):
Oh?
Speaker 19 (01:06:06):
Gosh, there was quite a benisode, right, good?
Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Yeah? Please don't cuss?
Speaker 19 (01:06:20):
Yeah yeah yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
What is that beeping? I think the French fries are ready.
It doesn't sound like a turning signal.
Speaker 19 (01:06:29):
Sorry no, sorry, sorry, no?
Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
What is it?
Speaker 10 (01:06:35):
Maybe you God?
Speaker 19 (01:06:37):
I am probably so off.
Speaker 9 (01:06:39):
Just a little. But what's that beeping noise? I can't
move on until I find out that beaming noise is?
Speaker 12 (01:06:45):
It's is don't touch me a brustelizer, A bruthelizer.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
Oh because she should not be driving?
Speaker 19 (01:06:55):
No, it's because it needs you blowing it every Okay,
blowing it real quick?
Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
Well, wait, let's how it goes.
Speaker 19 (01:07:01):
Oh my god, I don't want you to be here.
Speaker 1 (01:07:03):
Just come on, just blow into it.
Speaker 9 (01:07:04):
I mean we're involved, no matter what. Will give you
the tickets? You are twenty years off, but go ahead.
Speaker 19 (01:07:08):
Okay, fine, jee.
Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
There there wait, still beeping? Have you passed yet?
Speaker 19 (01:07:25):
It's still warming up?
Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
How annoying? Do you also have it? Do you also
have it? Do you also have an ankle bracelet?
Speaker 19 (01:07:36):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Okay, all right, all right, so now let's not beeping.
Does that mean Does that mean it worked? The breathalyzer worked? Yes, okay,
So to review, did you pick the year two thousand
and three? Is that what you said?
Speaker 18 (01:07:51):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
Okay, all right, that's okay, John Jay, your move.
Speaker 9 (01:07:56):
I heard Savage the Megan the Stallion song that was
very big during the COVID that's when all this stuff
is all COVID time.
Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
The question is whether twenty twenty or twenty one? So
did you not pass that?
Speaker 10 (01:08:06):
Thing?
Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
Is that it's not?
Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
I want to stop beeping? What did you have this morning?
Speaker 13 (01:08:13):
I didn't have anything this morning.
Speaker 19 (01:08:15):
It's when it's cold, it worlds up.
Speaker 21 (01:08:17):
So does it full?
Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
Does it take a full a few minutes, it's like
one hundred degrees outside. How could it be cold? Wow?
Speaker 19 (01:08:24):
Because of my car is under a car part. It's ridiculous.
It's a stupid machine and its super decision. So it's like,
there's what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
Okay, So when did you get the DUI? How long ago?
Speaker 8 (01:08:35):
I want to talk about it?
Speaker 19 (01:08:37):
It's embarrassing.
Speaker 9 (01:08:39):
We're way past that. I mean, your breath hasn't cleared yet, right,
don't you have to?
Speaker 19 (01:08:44):
Like my brother is clear and fail if it didn't, but.
Speaker 9 (01:08:51):
I would think you do the breath lies, you blow
into it and the approval is like, all right, hey,
you drop a Hyundai Alondra. All right, anyway, I'm gonna
go twenty twenty one.
Speaker 1 (01:09:06):
Okay, So Gen says twenty three. John Jay says twenty
twenty one and the most crazy ass version of remember
the time we've evergot, Peyton, here's your chance to.
Speaker 11 (01:09:18):
Rocket try to win one. No, I know I'm with
John j on it being that COVID year, I was savage,
but what I did here was the Beyonce remix in there,
which makes me think it's definitely not twenty twenty. You
have Bridger ten justin bieber offset intentions toutsy slide. Drake,
I'm gonna say twenty twenty two just because John j
took twenty twenty one.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Okay, everybody's wrong, it's twenty twenty. It's really good.
Speaker 11 (01:09:43):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
You know, one of the big clues was going to
be the year of COVID, but I figured that would
give it way too farway. Well, Jen, are you back on? Mute?
I mean, Jen, Okay, you do win the award for
being the furthest off anybody has ever been on remember
the time, which I think is an award in itself.
Speaker 9 (01:10:00):
Still, Jen, congratulations, you win. You're gonna go see Madison.
Beer don't drink and beer don't drink beer?
Speaker 17 (01:10:09):
My god?
Speaker 1 (01:10:10):
Was that?
Speaker 9 (01:10:11):
What was your drink of choice when you got pulled
over and got the dui and now you have a
Breathalyzer's so important?
Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
She does not want to answer our question. All right,
Well hold on the lie, Jen, We're gonna set you up.
And if you're just tuning in, that was Jen.
Speaker 9 (01:10:25):
She was a contested member at the time, and there
was a beeping and the noise in the background and
I couldn't get past.
Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
It, and I'm glad I asked, because I've never experienced
that before. It was good to hear. But she's doing
the right thing, right.
Speaker 9 (01:10:35):
Yeah, when you get a breathalyzer like that, does anyone
know is that? Does that mean that you went to court,
you did whatever, But you have to drive to work
so they put that on.
Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
Does anyone know? Do you?
Speaker 11 (01:10:46):
I have no idea. I'm sure it's something that I know.
It like plugs into your car and your car like
won't start if you don't pass it. But I was
a great, Yeah, it probably is court me in neighbor.
Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
But she said hers is every nine minutes that she's
in the car.
Speaker 11 (01:10:59):
That's you would think it would be just every time
you start your car. But I mean, you gotta be
locked in for stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
So what I'm saying is the judge.
Speaker 9 (01:11:08):
Does a judge go, this is a good person that
has a busy life and needs to drive, so we're
gonna do this, Or does a judge say you need
to get a ride everywhere you go, or does a
judge say you go live in tense city for a week.
Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
If they still I don't know they still have that. Yeah,
I don't know if that was an extreme do U
I super extreme.
Speaker 9 (01:11:26):
If anybody knows, can you call eight seven seven nine
three seven one oh four seven.
Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
Rebecca knows breathalyzer stuff. Hey Rebecca, let's what do we know?
What do we need to know?
Speaker 8 (01:11:38):
So pretty much everyone in Arizona, it doesn't matter if
it's like extreme d UI or whatever. It's court mandated
that you have a breathalyzer, doesn't They don't care if
you have a car, don't have a car. I told
in my car and they made me purchase a car
to get a breathalyzer in it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Wait, they made you purchase a car to use a breathalyzer.
Speaker 8 (01:12:02):
Yeah, or it was put in one of my family
member's car and my family member would have to use
it as well.
Speaker 9 (01:12:09):
Oh wow, So they're like, even though they don't have it,
they still have to use it, even though they didn't
get punished.
Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
Yep, so it happened to you.
Speaker 8 (01:12:16):
I ended up setting my own car, a little beater,
just the car I didn't have a license. Pretty much.
Speaker 1 (01:12:24):
Okay, well, thank you, Rebecca, thanks for listening. Yeah, that's safe.
We have another breathalyzer expert, Markue Marque. Mary kay, oh
Mary kay, there's a why missing now it's there.
Speaker 24 (01:12:40):
Hi Mary kay, Hi, Hi, good morning's.
Speaker 9 (01:12:43):
Did you hear that call when she was on the
breath lizer? Cause did you know it was a breath lizer?
Speaker 17 (01:12:46):
Yes?
Speaker 24 (01:12:47):
I did hear the call, okay, And I was calling
because I used to be a criminal paralegal for an
attorney who did criminal law and a lot of it
was DUIs okay, and the breathalyzers depending on how much
you blow over the legal limit.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
Oh so when you heard her beeping, what did you know?
What do you think? What do you think her story is?
Speaker 24 (01:13:10):
Well, I don't want to assume, but I've seen enough
cases that when you get a breathalyzer and it beeps
that often, that frequent, that it was probably like I
forget the exact term, like a extreme do you why?
Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
Oh okay, they.
Speaker 24 (01:13:27):
Have like do you wys? And then extreme do you eyes?
Depending on how much over the legal limit you blow, And.
Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
That's probably the every nine minute warning or you know,
every one of the behind minutes. That's weird.
Speaker 24 (01:13:38):
Yeah, it's I'm sure the laws have changed since I've
been in that area of practice.
Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
But yeah, what are you doing right now? Where are you?
I'm at work? Are you on a landline.
Speaker 24 (01:13:49):
I am.
Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
It sounds so good. It's that crystal clearic.
Speaker 9 (01:13:52):
I could hear every little like like noise from your mouth.
It's perfect. Everybody calls, even if you're driving, even if
you're driving that well, Mary Kay, thanks for listening, Mary.
Speaker 24 (01:14:04):
Kay, Thank you guys. Have a great day.
Speaker 1 (01:14:06):
Good day.
