Happy Valentine's Day. Come on, it's s time.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah call us eight seven seven nine three seen one
O four seven Yeah, he's right, Coyle's Friday. Yes, it's
John Jay and Rich text us text JJR and whatever
you want to say to the number nine six eight
nine three. We have so many text messages that are
just all over the board about stuff, Lots of comments
about me asking a blind person what they like to
(01:18):
watch on TV.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Yeah, yeah, after he asked that we were all looking
at each other, did he really just say that you.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Could just sit there and listen to it? Good Morning
Saturday's my daughter Ryan's seventh birthday. It would be awesome.
You could read the text, or you can hear a
birthday shout out on the way to school or on
the podcast Happy Birthday.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Ryan, Happy Birthday John, Jay.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
And Rich spread the news. TikTok, Yes, TikTok is back
on Apple Store, Google Play for all to download. What
a happy Valentine's Day It truly is to think I
was gonna spend thousands of dollars to buy a phone
that had TikTok downloaded on it for my girlfriend to enjoy. WELP,
guess I'll have to find another gift now.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Huh. So I wonder if cap cut is back, because
because it is okay, my life is officially made because
I offloaded cap Cut and didn't realize that I wasn't
gonna be able to re download it, and it has
made my life at work very difficult.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
I saw that news breaking this morning when I woke up,
like I didn't know about un till like three am.
So I'm like, I better grab this now, okay for
it because.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
You deleted TikTok as well.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Do you know.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
It's a little scary. It's a little scary that I
download because I had deleted the whole thing right, it
was gone everything. I don't have to log in or
anything everything, so.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Back, Oh, I already saved your contact.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
I already saved everything.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Was funny. That scares me, and I feel like, Kyle,
you are the same page as me that it didn't
affect us at all, whether.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
We didn't do it, because we didn't delete it and
so it just kept working. But minus fourteen hours, I
think I think TikTok was actually officially down for everyone
for about fourteen hours.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Okay, listen, everybody shut up. The new Dexter dropped and
Kyle watched it.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
I did. It's it's the season finale of Dexter Original
Sin and it's so good, like it just completed the
season in the most perfect way and Johjie was saying
yesterday about how he went to the original Dexter show
and went back and watched the first episode, and I
was so bummed that I like didn't I knew that,
like my Dexter fix isn't going to be like there's
(03:10):
no more the season's over at this point. So I
started watching this. I'm going to watch the whole series
again because it's so good.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And it works perfectly right into there right? So is
so when it ends when because it's called Dexter Original Sin,
it's back when he was like twenty years old when
he first started killing people. So when it ends, does
it end with like there could be a season two
of that? Absolutely? Okay good because when you watch the
original one he says that his dad died ten years ago.
(03:36):
His dad doesn't die, does it?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (03:38):
What an in season in this thing?
Speaker 5 (03:41):
No?
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Okay good because I'm hoping there's a season two with
his dad.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Right, because do you know the weird thing is with
the dad. So Christian Slater plays the dad in Dexter
Original Sin, but a different guy plays the dad in
the original Dexter and going from Dexter Original Sin with
Christian Slater where you're like, it totally works, and then
seeing the original Harry Morgan, it's like, oh, that's weird.
That was the only weird thing going from one thing
(04:05):
to the other, because in the Dexter original Sin, they've
cast everybody so perfectly that it just looks like those
actors grew up except Harry.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Except for Harry. You're right, you're right right, by the way.
I never watched Beast Games, right, never.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
Watch it at all, So it's so good.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
And we had that girl on who was a finalist
one the top five or six p two, right, So
I went yesterday like around three or two o'clock in
the afternoon. I was like, Okay, I look and oh
if the episode's dropped, so I'm like, I'm just going
to watch that episode and just a little life hack
for you guys if you don't want to sit through
all the games. It was very satisfying to fast forward
(04:41):
get to the end, and the person that one was
well deserved in my opinion, just from the two clips
that I saw again, and they show that he's got
a kid that's got a rare disease.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
You don't watch the show, you know.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
John Day issue your apology now because you know people
are gone.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
It's good though.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
The show is real good and you should go back
if you haven't seen it. It's very satisfying and it
ends on some kind of twist that I would have had.
I would have had a hard time, like not going
for the easy money on the way through.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
I was just fast forward to the end.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Dude.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I was so excited when Emma got eliminated.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Oh you nice girl, I liked you.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
When she finally got like, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
I told Kate.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
I was like, I see through this girl.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
I think she's a way our whole family like was excited.
Like I didn't watch it when I got home from work,
even though I wanted to because I knew my kids
and Scott would be interested in seeing it because we've
been invested, Like we've been watching the whole season together,
and there were so many points during that episode where
we looked at each other and we go, no way,
(05:54):
no way, we love that person.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
See. I feel that a show like that that needs
to be live because.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
It could have been that last part.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
But I feel like that, you know, we talk about
dropping all seasons at one time something like that, Like
I just remember how on shows like American Idol when
you'd be at the edge of your seat waiting to
see but because you could watch it at your own
leisure like I did, and there's many different levels, like
you got Grant, who's watching, Kyle watching with your family.
I just want to know who won, because we interviewed
the girl. I want to see who would win ten
million dollars, so you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
But it was just kind of make a difference if
it were if they do it live, it loses the
juice of what mister Beast does, which is the long
ass flips a coin and it takes five minutes for
the coin on the ground.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
I like that guy fast through that. Yeah, yeah, I see.
I look at it like everybody be talking about it today.
It'd be the lead story in the news. Here's the
person who went ten years. I think you could seen
it anywhere.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
I don't think we're going to see another TV show
like anything. We're in a different era of television.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
The fact that they set up that whole last challenge
and then it was so quick, I know that was
the case.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah, the suitcase, because they set it up for like
forty minutes.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
I told you guys, the suitcase. What happened with my
brother in law because he was it was very similar suitcase.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
He had to choose.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
He had to choose it was a safe or was
that suitcase He had to pick one. There was only
two though, and he had to pick one. He picked
the wrong one. Or in this show, the guy pretty
much read her.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Yeah, that was pretty pretty much literally.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
We have to just like go back in time and
say spoiler spoiler alert spoiler my bad.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Valentine's Day, forget. It's a day of forgiveness.
