it was baby Noah putting the wheel and going to.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
The showcase showed down.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
I'm like, why have nobody talked about this?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Okay, you cut out?
Speaker 5 (00:21):
We went.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
You cut out when you said a couple of very
very important you saw baby know where on the.
Speaker 6 (00:26):
Price is right?
Speaker 4 (00:27):
And nobody is talking about it.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Yeah, we're going to talk about it today.
Speaker 7 (00:31):
What I'm sure he went earlier?
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Nobody knew he was don menas Peyton was going on
a game show.
Speaker 8 (00:36):
Actually, Noah kept its secret from everybody.
Speaker 9 (00:38):
Yeah, I had no clue. I saw it on Instagram
everyone else.
Speaker 10 (00:41):
Yeah, I think I want to say. I want to
say he signed an NDA or something like. There was
some he had to keep it a secret.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
We're going to get the whole story.
Speaker 6 (00:50):
It was a rerun or if it was new.
Speaker 7 (00:52):
You have to talk about this.
Speaker 11 (00:53):
Oh yeah, awesome.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
I can't wait to hear.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Thanks Amanda, thanks for listening. All right, But yeah, not spoiler.
But she did say he got to the Showcase Showdown,
which is when I was a little kid, I used
to watch Price Right with my grandmother. That was an.
Speaker 9 (01:08):
Episode, So I want to know what the Showcase Showdown is.
Speaker 10 (01:10):
Oh, my gosh, the Final r Everything. My kids love
the Prices Right, like we watched it. We were like
on vacation one time. The TV only had like a
few channels and it was like an entire channel dedicated
to the Prices Right, and they're obsessed with it now
they like share. That's my dream to go on the
show like we went when I was in college, Me
and my sorority friends, we went to it, and I
(01:32):
thought for sure I had it nailed. Like they're definitely
pigging me because they asked everyone else one question, they
asked me three or four questions. I was like yes,
And then they go down to Literley, my authorty mate
who actually planned the trip. She's like, I would cut
off my left toe for this, and then she got
picked to be on it.
Speaker 9 (01:48):
You're like, I would cut off my right leg from
I don't actually know if.
Speaker 10 (01:51):
I would cut off my toe, but yeah, but I
would Instagram.
Speaker 12 (01:57):
She deserved it an entire galaxy.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Like there was in fact, like the unflugged foot account
is the only account I saw in the country that
didn't lose anybody on the on the on the big
Instagram thing. What was that called? Yeah?
Speaker 9 (02:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (02:12):
If that last segment offended you, I am really really sorry.
Please email our management at your mom at iHeartRadio dot your.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Mom dot com. It's John Jay and Rich No You're
gonna come in here and tell us about your experience.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Noah lash she was on the price is right. You're
gonna die when you see how uh So, Noah, how
did you pull this off and not let us know? Genius?
By the way, I there.
Speaker 14 (02:38):
Was a super super subtle hint that I left about
seven or eight months ago now, and I have audio
from that day.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Okay, Noah, who is our swiftye on the show? He's
not here today, right, So I wanted to get Noah.
So Noah, where do you go to California? Went to La?
He went to LA this summer. He would to go
see age, but he also had a couple other things
happening behind the scenes. But what happened with Noah is
I was I was like, no, the album's coming out,
he goes, I will do a whole review for you guys,
because he's a swiftie. I want to hear everything he
needs to know. I talked to him last night at
(03:11):
eight thirty. He was very excited for the album coming out.
At nine he was ready to go.
Speaker 14 (03:15):
And the things behind the scenes was this. The taping
of The Price Is Right happened the day that The
Life of a Show Girl came out.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Oh.
Speaker 14 (03:25):
I don't know if you remember, but you called me
to talk about the album leaking before it actually came out,
and you couldn't get a hold of me, right, And
I said, I can't tell you why you didn't.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Get a hold of that. That's right, I really missed.
Speaker 15 (03:37):
Yeah fourteen from Johnay, Okay, well listen, do we have
the audio and say no one, come on down, no lashly.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Come on dawn.
Speaker 16 (03:52):
Twenty six hundred dollars, Noah twenty eight, twenty eight forty
actual retail price three thousand, three hundred and thirteen dollars.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Noah's so weird.
Speaker 12 (04:08):
Honestly, watching you was like being in a fever dream
watching you on The Price Is Right, and you'd be
full on like your your most amplified self was insane.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
I watched it twice. I had my son Dutch was
next to me. I go check this out. And as
we're watching it, the very beginning starts before you know
that Noah's going to be in it, and Noah's in
the audience, and Dutch goes, Noah's in the audience. I
go yeah, and then it's Noah lastly, come on down
with Noah comes down and he's jumping around and jumping
and jumping, and then he gets to the next level
and he's jumping around. And then my favorite thing when
(04:39):
I was a kid watching it with Bob Barker was
spinning the wheel. I always wanted to spin the wheel.
And then Noah goes, do you have any that yeah
that clip? I do, yeah, And Noah tries to put
in the wheel and he screws up in the beginning, No, I.
Speaker 14 (04:50):
Didn't put that part in there.
Speaker 12 (04:51):
Oh, you didn't put that part in that favorite.
Speaker 14 (04:54):
They said that they would cut that part out, and
I was like for months, just like cringing that they're
not going to cut it out. We had the watch
party and they didn't cut it out, and I was
I had to bury my head into my table.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Because you're like, you're like a professional. So you're like, no,
this is a TV show. We can edit. Because he goes,
you want me to do it again? He looks, he
looks at Drew, carry goes, you want me to do
it again? Yeah, and he takes a step back like okay,
you and me spin will like literally but they left
all that in. I know exactly what you're doing, right.
It was really great. So here's been good luck. You
(05:26):
want to say hi to someone?
Speaker 11 (05:27):
I would.
Speaker 14 (05:28):
I would love to say hello to my mom, dad, Leonora,
my roommate, and everyone on the show I work for
back in Phoenix.
Speaker 12 (05:36):
Rich God forbid, you don't say the name him?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Let him? But then, because I already trust me, I
was already into that. Why he didn't because the show
earlier they asked him what he does for a living.
You don't happen to have that clip to you? What
do you do for living? Noah? I do love this show.
Where are you from?
Speaker 14 (05:49):
I'm from Phoenix, Arizona, all the.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Way from Phoenix.
Speaker 17 (05:52):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
And what do you do?
Speaker 14 (05:53):
I work on a morning radio show?
Speaker 18 (05:55):
Do you?
Speaker 11 (05:55):
Yes?
Speaker 19 (05:56):
I do?
Speaker 20 (05:56):
Are you the name?
Speaker 11 (05:57):
DJ?
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Sidekid News?
Speaker 19 (05:58):
What?
Speaker 14 (05:58):
I'm a producer?
Speaker 21 (05:59):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
What's up?
Speaker 22 (06:00):
How you doing?
Speaker 20 (06:00):
Man?
Speaker 2 (06:01):
It was really and then they and then Drew goes
into a bunch of DJ stuff and spin it on
the nine.
Speaker 14 (06:08):
He almost said stacks and hacks catch that on the
wax and I was like, whoa.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
And then when Noah spin then he gets the showcase
showdown and and it was just it was so much
fun to watch you guys, especially Kyle you being a
fan of Price right, like one of your life goals,
like you've actually tried to get on the show, you know.
Speaker 8 (06:29):
Just try to like, you know, watching everyone else live
out my dream.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I mean, you did the traveling one.
Speaker 14 (06:33):
I know, that's where I went. That's what she did,
the traveling one. And she told the story on the
air and she's like, I want so badly to be
on the Prices right. And I want so badly to be.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
On the Prices right.
Speaker 14 (06:42):
And I was like, so like, go do it. Go
try again.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Some people work.
Speaker 8 (06:49):
Every day Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I got in the car.
Speaker 14 (06:55):
I'm getting in the car and I'm going to go try.
So I did, and then here we are that Noah.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I like you.
Speaker 12 (07:05):
She was smart to play the game because when they
were like, how about a scooter, and I was.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Like, yes, he was great watching it, like did they pump?
I mean, anyway, what are the producers on? Is Hannah?
Is she the one that pick? Yes, she's a coon Hannah.
Good morning, Hannah, good morning. Are y'all you are a
producer for the Price Is Right?
Speaker 7 (07:25):
I got the dream job. I am a producer for
the Prices Right? So quickly the contestas.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Can you tell us what made you pick Noah?
Speaker 7 (07:32):
I mean y'all probably see that side of him all
the time, because truly, energy is the most important thing
on our show. I mean, we all grew up watching it.
We want to have fun when we watch it. And
he came into that room jumping up and down just
like he was jumping up and down as soon as
he did hear his name, So just his energy was
a natural natural pick easily.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
How long have you been with the Prices right?
Speaker 7 (07:56):
I've been working there since I moved out to California,
so I'm coming up on my ten years.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 7 (08:02):
I don't know if you talked about it already, but
they just come in groups of ten at a time
for me to get to talk to all one hundred
and fifty people that are there.
Speaker 14 (08:10):
Yeah, really fast, what's your name?
Speaker 2 (08:12):
What do you do for a living? Why are you here?
And then Hanna, you can't say you told Noah, Okay,
if you get picked, you can't mention the radio show
that you're on. You cannot mention John Jay and.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Radio show stuff.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
And that's actually kind of all prefaceed in like the
PaperWorks that they do the not so fun part ahead
of time, and so that's kind of there. We've had
people about that, like we'll still kind of say it,
and then we may just do a pickup on it
later on because it's a little bit harder for us
to do it like in real time constantly be reminding people,
unless it's like they don't get up immediately, then I
(08:42):
kind of will go over there and go over like
they're talking points again with them of what I got
to know. But he probably could have slipped it in.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Well that's what did you with the commercial break? What
did Drew carry?
Speaker 14 (08:51):
Yeah, Drew Carrie spent time with the audience. He came
by and he said, you know, what's the name of
the show, what kind of music do you play?
Speaker 1 (08:55):
What do you guys do? And he was all into it,
and at that.
Speaker 7 (08:59):
Point, who was the biggest radio nerd?
Speaker 14 (09:01):
Yeah, he was like yeah, I mean He's like you
could have said it. You could have said it, and
I was like, oh darn, because I knew John J
was going to pick up on that. But Hannah, let
me ask you real quick, because I was there for
two tapings, so I'm the one where I'm in the
audience and not called down that aired back in January,
And did you know that you wanted to pick me
(09:22):
for that taping and I just didn't make the cut.
And then so then that's why you guys asked me
to stay for the second one? Or how what was
the whole process there, because I've been trying to put
the puzzle pieces together myself.
Speaker 7 (09:33):
Not necessarily, but like what is great about us getting
to have people sometimes go back to back and stay
for two episodes? It's great. And I mean you probably
looked around when there is like one hundred and fifty
to one hundred and eighty people and we can only
pick nine people. It is really hard. And I've become
like a stage mom out there where there's people obviously
(09:55):
that like I had like in the back room and
be like, oh a man, I wish I could get
the men. And then whenever I do get to see
y'all to stay because technically I ask you to stay,
but it's like I because, hey, great, this is the chance.
Especially it's not that you came like all the way
from Arizona. It was like, come on, this guy really
(10:16):
is a huge fan and that's the special.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Well, we're sending more people your way. Kyle's going, that's
and she looks great jumping up and down.
Speaker 8 (10:30):
He's a beautiful.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
By the way. Something funny with Noah. I thought, when
when Noah, when you when you won the first thing
and you go get the scooter and you put the
scooter the helmet on, jumping up the helmet, but the
helmet doesn't fit on his head. And you can hear
the announcer guy going, well, that fits great. By the way,
that announcer guy, George, he's from Mary went to u Ay,
he went to the University of Arizona. He grew up
in Tucson.
Speaker 7 (10:54):
He loves to mention that all the time to the
audience too, and like when we do play people from Arizona,
he's constantly then lost the love.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
I sat next to him on airplane one time when
he was the host of the Weakest Link. Oh, really,
Oh my gosh, yeah, and I asked him and we
so we flew. We flew from Tucson too feet to
Los Angeles, and I thought we kind of became friends
on that our flight, and then I was And then
I invited him to be on our radio show and
he gave me the number to his agent. I was
(11:21):
shut down. I was like, forget that, we just became friends.
I could just say I can call in Tuesday at
at seven am and so never. And then I was
kind of mad at him. Hannah, I was kind of mad,
and so then I was, and then I was. When
I was watching the show, I was critiquing it, like
like when when I was mad at the way because
he doesn't sound like Johnny Olsen is like a legendary
Johnny Elson. Sure, come on and he goes George says,
(11:44):
his emphasis on certain words are weird, like he goes,
and you just want a camping trailer, Like I figured
he should be camping trailer, right. So I was critiquing it,
and then I googled him and I saw he had
like three heart attacks, so I feel, yeah, I'm not
right break yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (11:59):
Yeah, yeah, he has been through a lot, but he definitely.
He found his in the way he says things in
a little bit of.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, I kind of want to work with him a
little bit on his inflection. You're going to coach him.
Speaker 12 (12:12):
Yeah, when you asked him to go on the on
this show, did he actually play this agent?
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, George. Anyway, Well, Hannah, that's so cool for do
you jumping on? And thanks for picking Noah on the show?
Speaker 7 (12:28):
Oh my god, of course, no, he was such a
ju lie I am so I'm happy to hear. There's
more fans for sure. Take a care of Van come.
We're starting back up in July, more people.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
You're also prices right in the news right now for
the largest single game prize in history, right. That happened
the other day, how much you shoot one of.
Speaker 7 (12:46):
Our mothers our Mothers Day special. So that was a
complete like whirlwind of the day even for us then,
and we didn't realize how big it was going to become,
even like news wise once it aired. But just that's
on my first show, I think so specially then as
it really is like we're changing lives. Yeah, yeah, that
it would even be possible.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
She won two hundred and twenty seven five hundred dollars
on the in cash on the prices right, it's the
largest on the Mother's episode. I bet that game never
comes back again. Well, Hannah, executive producer for Prices right,
thanks for jumping on our show.
Speaker 7 (13:21):
Oh no, fantastic producer, not executive whatever whatever we were,
we promoted you, all right. I appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
Thanks, Hannah, awesome, Well, thank you so much.
Speaker 7 (13:30):
Congratulations again, Noah, thank.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
You so much.
Speaker 14 (13:33):
Thanks for coming on the show.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
Of course.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Congratulations, Noah. That was a lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Hey, dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
and Ridge.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
One of four seven Kiss FM, John Jay and Rich
It's time for War of the Roses. You're in a relationship.
You suspect somebody could be cheating, so you come to
us to find out. We will find out for you. Sasha,
good morning, Good morning. Who are we talking about? Who
do you think is cheating on you?
Speaker 23 (14:04):
My boyfriend Dave. We've been together for a few years.
We're taking things slow like we wanted, and everything's like
really good so far, like and especially right now, like
we've hit our stride. But so he has he has
a daughter, and she's graduating high school this year and
school's like wrapping up like any week, and he has
been talking to his ex like a lot, like and
(14:26):
obviously I know that they share a daughter, like, so fine, okay,
but it's like it's still making me super uneasy. They're
planning graduations in college. But like the problem is, like
he's the one who left her. I know she's still
in love with him, and she will call him randomly often,
and he picks up immediately no matter what we're doing,
Like even if we're like mid conversation, he'll pick up immediately.
(14:48):
And it's just weird. And I just can't shake this
ceiling like in my stomach every time, like this phone
his phone lights up and her name's there, and like
I really, honestly, I don't even know what to do
with all of it. And I don't. She's super rude
and cold to me when I'm around, and I just
feel like something's up.
Speaker 12 (15:05):
That's enough, But you know, the graduation thing, it's like
you have to when you have kids. I speak from
a little experience, you gotta just be cool for the
sake of the kids, because you don't want them to
be anything but the celebration and you are in more
contact than you probably want to be because there's details, right.
Speaker 9 (15:23):
And Sasha can't like pop off on him because then
she kind of looks like the crazy when she's like,
this is my kid, Like what else do you expect?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Yeah, you know what I mean, you're nicer.
Speaker 12 (15:32):
You're probably nicer to your rex than you would have
been because it's your kid and you want to make
it special for them.
Speaker 8 (15:38):
So how did their relationship end?
Speaker 23 (15:41):
Honestly, like he was just kind of like done with
her and like left her one day. Like it was
a really not a good wit end. And so that's
what makes me.
Speaker 7 (15:50):
It makes me.
Speaker 23 (15:50):
Feel like there's got to be still bad blood, Like
it can't be all this like hunky Dory call me anytime.
It's just, yeah, it wasn't a good ending.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Well, here's the thing too, I believe I thought I
saw Oprah talk about this, if you have a child
with someone and you break up and you go back
and have sex with that person, that's not.
Speaker 10 (16:09):
Cheating said that she didn't, you.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Know, I think it was my friend Rob.
Speaker 10 (16:24):
I think the biggest red flag to me is that
she is like rude and cold to you because either
she thinks maybe like you're the reason their relationship ended
or you're the reason their relationship can't rekindle all the way.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
All right, Well, let's get him on the phone and
see who sends the flowers to. What's his name, Sasha?
All right, We're gonna call Dave. See who sends the
flowers to. Are you ready? Coyle on? All right? War
the Roses continues next with John Jay and Rich John
Jane Rich. We're in the middle of War the Roses.
Got Sasha on the line. Her boyfriend Dave has a
daughter that's about to graduate college high school, high school.
(17:03):
Dave has been talking a lot to his ex because
they have a kid graduating, so that makes a lot
of sense. But Sasha says, Dave's acting weird when he
gets the phone calls from her, and now Sasha feels
a little weird about it. That's pretty much the whole situation. Ry, Sasha,
I hit it right.
Speaker 23 (17:17):
Yeah, yeah, I just need like peace of mind here.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Call you ready to call him?
Speaker 22 (17:21):
I'm ready?
Speaker 10 (17:38):
Hello, Hi, there is Dave available, speaking perfect Hi Dave.
Speaker 8 (17:43):

or something like that, and we are absolutely not.
Speaker 8 (18:23):
We just want to get the word out.
Speaker 19 (18:25):
The only.
Speaker 8 (18:27):
Yeah yeah, so.
Speaker 10 (18:28):

we're gonna send the flowers out with a nice little card.
I was just tell people, this is your chance to
personalize it. So depending on the nature of your relationship,
you know, some people get.
Speaker 8 (18:38):
Fun in the card or a little flirty. Some people
get like, oh, you know, like.
Speaker 24 (18:41):
Whoa, So, what kind of flowers are they?
Speaker 8 (18:44):
It's our Pure Passion bookase.
Speaker 10 (18:45):
So it's a dozen long stem red roses and it
comes in a really nice crystal vase. So definitely like
a wow piece. So just let me know what you
want on the card. We'll start with the message and
then we'll go name an address and I'll give you
a time that they'll be delivered.
Speaker 24 (18:58):
Okay, my god, I'm so bad at this stuff. There's
something like you mean the world to me.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
I love you.
Speaker 8 (19:08):
That's very sweet.
Speaker 10 (19:09):
You mean the world to me. I love you? Okay,
and then who did you want to address this to?
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Sasha?
Speaker 8 (19:19):
Sasha, She's gonna love this A nice gift.
Speaker 23 (19:22):
I like, super, I'm like so confused, Like, hold on
a second.
Speaker 18 (19:26):
Dave, Hi, what yeah?
Speaker 23 (19:31):
I call a radio station and like, I just want
to know why you're like always talking to your ex Sasha?
Speaker 24 (19:39):
Are you serious right now? What is happening you?
Speaker 2 (19:43):
You call the radio station for what?
Speaker 7 (19:45):
Just because I.
Speaker 23 (19:45):
Needed to know the truth? Like I just need information.
I'm just I need it.
Speaker 24 (19:50):
Oh my god, what truth? There's nothing to be untruthful
about whatever this is. It feels childish to me, Hey, childish?
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Dave.
Speaker 23 (19:59):
She's the one that's literally calling you all the time
and you answer immediately every single time, like you're texting
all day and I know it's about like graduation stuff
and like going to college and parties. Like I get it,
but she also hates me. Like what am I supposed
to think?
Speaker 24 (20:16):
You're supposed to think that I'm being a dad. That's
my daughter's mom, you know that, right, Like of course
we're talking more right now. It is graduation season. She's
the mother of my child. Okay, Like she helped me
raise this amazing little kid. It's not romantic, it's biological.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Okay, do you get that?
Speaker 3 (20:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 23 (20:37):
I get it, but like, can't you understand like why
this would feel weird from my side? Like I get
all that, I.
Speaker 24 (20:44):
Mean I do, I do don't understand it, And honestly,
I kind of think that this is like part of
what our age difference leads to. Like you're, you know,
ten years younger than me, so sometimes I think we
handle stuff a little differently, like maturity wise. You know
that's right.
Speaker 23 (21:04):
I don't know why we're bringing age into this, Like
so now you're saying I'm a mature like that.
Speaker 24 (21:11):
God, I'm not saying it to insult you. I'm just
saying that I've already done this whole toxic fighting thing
before and I'm not interested in it again. I just
don't have the energy. You know, I want communication, not tests.
Speaker 23 (21:26):
Well, I wasn't asking you. I want peace of mind.
I just I don't know what other way to get it.
Speaker 24 (21:32):
And Okay, well I need you to understand that. You know,
if we're talking really serious here, maybe marriage, then my
kid is always going to come first. Is the best
thing that's ever happened.
Speaker 8 (21:45):
To talk to your kid all the time.
Speaker 24 (21:46):
It's going to be my priority.
Speaker 8 (21:48):
Maybe you talk to your kid all the time instead
of your ex.
Speaker 24 (21:53):
That's her mom.
Speaker 9 (21:54):
Yeah, you can care.
Speaker 10 (21:56):
But now she is getting to the age where she's
getting into adulthood and you can communicate more with her
rather than her mom. You may still have to communicate
on parental issues and whatnot. But I think it's like
you have to decide is your relationship worth that, Like,
which relationship is more important with you.
Speaker 8 (22:11):
She's not saying don't have a relationship with your kid.
Speaker 10 (22:13):
She's saying, it's making me uncomfortable the relationship you are
carrying on with your ex, which I think as your
new partner.
Speaker 8 (22:19):
It's fair to say.
Speaker 24 (22:20):
Being carried on with my ex. My ex is the
mother of my child. The only time we ever communicate
is when it's about my kid. So it's it's a
double standard saying you want me to have a relationship
with my daughter but not her mom. That doesn't make
any sense, not.
Speaker 12 (22:34):
A double standard, Sasha, would it feel Would it feel
any better?
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Like?
Speaker 12 (22:38):
Kind of, here's what I do if I get if
I get a text from the X, I'll actually talk
to my wife about it, like, Hey, they're asking about this,
I'm gonna tell them this for about the kids. Just
so you kind of can keep the communication open. So
Sasha's not wondering what's going on. She's got a clear picture.
Like you're not having communication communications.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
So Sasha is sharing her insecurities, Dave is sharing his
insecurities or his vibes. So you guys need to communicate.
And I think you're in the right path. So there
is a there is no end of this relationship. Plus
Dave sent the flowers to her, which is great. Yeah, yeah,
he did. By the way. On a little side note,
I gotta say something, Sasha Rich and I have been
doing War of the Roses for about twenty five years,
(23:22):
twenty four years, twenty four years. So when you say
to him, I called the radio, there's a lot of
other shows that have ripped us off and doing this
segment now, so I would prefer that you say, hey,
I called John Jay and Rich to do War of
the Roses, not just the radio, not just some radio show,
because there's a lot of them doing it.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Because it's that's what he latched on.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
I called the radio. Yeah it is. You did call
the radio, but you did call John Jay and Rich
home of War the Roses. Because now I get mad
at Kyle's like imitation is a form of flattery. It is,
but it's also frustrating. Yes, total frustrating.
Speaker 7 (24:00):
I get it. I'm like, loyal to your radio.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Thank you. She's loyal to the radio. She's good. People.
There ya go, Sasha, there you go. Okay, let's all
be happy for one another.
Speaker 24 (24:14):
Now, all right, thank you guys for going there.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
There you go. Dave, you got our hearts. He's loyal, Sasha.
Come on, guys, come on now, all right, that's War
of the Roses. You guys are John Jay and Rich.
Come for the John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
But let's be honest, if you stay for Kyle and Peyton,
it's John Jay and Ridge.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Okay, we're gonna play a game. We need we have
a contestant. We don't have a host for the game.
Speaker 12 (24:37):
What game are we playing?
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I wonder let's say hello to Crystal. Hi, Crystal, Hi,
good morning, Good morning. I hope you're a Demi Levado fan.
Oh yes, I am. All right, well, you're gonna play
this game right now for Demi Lovato tickets. Good luck, Nick.
What's the game we're gonna play?
Speaker 13 (24:53):
We are quizzing you guys on Disney Child Stars. This
doesn't just go to Disney Channel. This goes Disney Movies.
We're gonna have fun today. I'm gonna play a clip.
You just have to tell me who this current star is. Okay, okay,
We're gonna start with John Jay.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Make some fun.
Speaker 22 (25:17):
Always send you one.
Speaker 8 (25:18):
Month, I mean nor I to the end of time.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Jeez, I'm gonna guess to say.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Sandia one of the five best singers of all time.
Speaker 2 (25:29):

now that I said that it's.
Speaker 1 (25:33):

John Jay one point.
Speaker 9 (25:40):

like to seeing me again. I'm meant to send him
a smiling face, but sent a puken guy in his place.
Speaker 12 (25:52):
Oh that song slaps. I'm trying to think of who,
who's uh, who's come around that?
Speaker 8 (25:58):
So slap?
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Gosh?
Speaker 12 (26:01):
Does that sound like? Is that Christina Aguilera.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
Christina Aguilera. That's a very good guess. It is wrong.
Speaker 13 (26:07):
Anybody in the Rodio Sabrina Carpenter, Sabrina Carpenter also wrong,
Amanda binds.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Amanda Binds, wrongs and daya wrong. We're looking for Olivia Rodrigo.
Speaker 12 (26:18):
But her voice has changed a little bit.
Speaker 13 (26:21):
Well, she's much more angsty now. No points in a
round one for Rich Peyton.
Speaker 25 (26:27):
Not heard that you guys like escape from these terrorists.
We mistock it for secret agents. Then you guys freed
yourself from their secret hideout, posing his guards. Then you
goes escape from the country riding horseback.
Speaker 23 (26:38):
Across the desert.
Speaker 9 (26:40):
Okay, that is incredibly difficult for me, So I'm just
gonna take a random guess and say that that's Jake Paul,
Jake Paul.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Okay, that's a good guess. It's wrong. Da, that's also wrong.
Speaker 9 (26:54):
That was sounded like a boy.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
It was the room as well.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
Okay, I think it's one of the Jonas brothers.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Okay, that's wrong. Rich anybody?
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Uh uh?
Speaker 13 (27:05):
Is it Austin as from As I'm sorry, you guys
are all wrong, Ryan Gostling.
Speaker 9 (27:16):
Disney Channel.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Good try, Kyle, Yes, it is wrong.
Speaker 14 (27:31):
Plea.
Speaker 10 (27:33):
Peyton's really getting into it. So I definitely feel like
that's zach Effron.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Zachron is correct.
Speaker 9 (27:42):
One of the best disease movie scenes of all time.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
It's the craziest thing. Okay, Chris, you know this works?
Speaker 18 (27:50):
Yeah, I do, all right, Here we go.
Speaker 21 (27:57):
That's hand Montana my least.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
I will take a good job, all right. Heading in
a round two. We got a three way tie, John,
j Kyle, and Crystal all with one point. We'll begin
round two with John Jay.
Speaker 12 (28:08):
If you want to know what is going to tell
you this a part of the show.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Close. Let's just see v.
Speaker 2 (28:14):

like one of the Jonahs' brothers. Okay, yes, specifically Joe Jonas.
How about Kevin Nick?
Speaker 1 (28:23):
We share the same name, Nick Jones Jonas, Yeah, all right,
good job, John Jay two points. Rich, need to try
to get away.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
You are also Nick Jonas. Maybe indeed you're not that
Jo Jonas.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
It is.
Speaker 8 (28:45):
Kevin Click next day, Nick Jonas.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Jo Jonas Will added a Peyton's clip.
Speaker 26 (28:50):

Speaker 22 (28:51):

Speaker 17 (28:53):
That's my knucklepluck.
Speaker 8 (28:54):
It's hard to be accurate, but it guys only great.
Speaker 9 (28:57):

Speaker 2 (28:59):

Keenan Thompson.
Speaker 2 (29:08):

Speaker 8 (29:13):
Kids are younger, they don't you know, you can't tell, but.
Speaker 2 (29:15):

note I thought would get you.

Crystal will award you five points if you can get
this one.
Speaker 9 (29:53):

I got my horoscope right by Peyton on a show
a few months ago, and it literally came true. She said,
my life was about to get chaotics but really fun,
and I thought she was taking a bit dramatic.
Speaker 19 (31:35):
But no, no, no, my car broke down.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Nothing? Again, to listen for the cew call. Just listen
for the cute call. Then call us.
Speaker 19 (32:24):
So there's this guy I used to talk to him.
He goes to me three years ago and I haven't
heard anything from him until last night. He literally liked
one of my pictures from twenty nineteen at three am,
and I was like, you know what, this is odd.
I'm gonna ignore him. But you know, instead of ignoring him,
I send him a calendar invite for a recap meeting
(32:47):
to discuss, you know, why he disappeared and what actually
accepted it? Y'all. So you know we're gonna talk this
Friday at a coffee shop and I don't know, I'm
kind of excited. I keep got updated.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Till that's amazing.
Speaker 9 (33:03):
Why did you ghost me for what?
Speaker 8 (33:04):
Explain yourself?
Speaker 2 (33:06):
That's so funny? All right, So that's what you hit.
The talk by feature of call Us at six oh
two eight eight eight, nineteen thirty three, The Drunk Down
Line with John, Jay and Rich.

Today's your day.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
Use the iHeartRadio app and talk back to us. Right now.
It's John, Jay and Rich.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
It's been a while, you guys do a little dog
shot collar trivia. Guy, you play a game.
Speaker 14 (33:28):
It's Friday and John got a game for you.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Okay, this game I'm calling Florida Man, Florida. Okay, Florida
man or Florida fake. That's your answer now, could be
Florida woman or Florida fake. There's an old internet joke
that all crazy news stories are all all happened in Florida.
(33:55):
You've heard that before, right, Yeah, Okay, So I'm gonna
I'm gonna give you the following story. You tell me
if it's real, you say Florida man. If it's fake,
you say Florida fake. And it's about a woman, you
say Florida woman. Rich Florida man arrested after driving car
in the ocean. Man says, not my fault, the truck,
don't surf boy.
Speaker 12 (34:16):
That sure does sound classic Florida John Jay. I'm gonna
say Florida man.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
It is a true story. Florida man. Happened in twenty
twenty four. The guy drove his truck in the ocean
and during his arrest was over her telling the deputies,
not my fault, truck, don't surf. Peyton, Florida woman arrested
after attempting to baptize her boyfriend in a public fountain
on their three month anniversary.
Speaker 9 (34:41):
Florida woman.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
That is Florida fake.
Speaker 8 (34:43):
Ah Man started off.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
Rough Kyle Florida man detained after attempting to host unlicensed
hot dog Eating World Championship in the funeral home parking lot.
Speaker 8 (34:58):
Florida man.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
That is Florlorida fake.
Speaker 8 (35:00):
No, I could see that happening though.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
Though I could see it, Florida man had hours long
junk food feast inside a closed Walgreens.
Speaker 12 (35:08):
Oh yeah, boy, that sounds very Florida too. I'm gonna
go Florida man. That is a true story. Florida man.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Happened. In July of twenty twenty four. Peyton, Florida woman
arrested after attempting to ride alleged alligator.
Speaker 9 (35:27):
Florida woman.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
That is Florida fake?
Speaker 8 (35:30):
What No? That I don't arrest them for that?
Speaker 9 (35:34):
A Florida woman riding an alligator.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
And I'm just kidding, Kyle. Florida woman stormed the Capitol
in a scuba mast searched for in the bathroom.
Speaker 8 (35:46):
What I mean, well, Florida woman, that's true.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
That happened. Lynn Marie Carrey, fifty six, traveling from Naples
to DC to participate in the effort to overturn the
twenty twenty presidential election. Rich Florida man on bizarre challenge
of eating raw chicken every day.
Speaker 12 (36:04):
Well, he would probably be dead. I'm gonna say Florida fake.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
That is Florida man. That happened. I remember playing the
clips of the guy in the air. Yeah, he filled
himself eating slabs of raw chicken and chugging rygings for
his four hundred thousand Instagram follows for a few months.
There's no word on how he's turned out, but yeah,
he can't be doing well. Peyton woman, Florida woman jailed
after challenging cruise ship captain to karaoke. Karaoke sing off
(36:29):
on the intercom.
Speaker 9 (36:30):
At two am doesn't seem like something you'd get arrested for.
She sounds like a hoot.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Fake it is fake. Kyle, Florida woman arrested at Port
Everglades attempting to board a cruise the fourteen bottles of
wine strapped to her body.
Speaker 8 (36:43):
Oh heck yeah, Florida man.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Woman, Florida fake. Oh rich, Florida man buys a mask
at a gas station to burglarize the bank across the street.
Speaker 12 (36:51):
Oh, totally Florida man, Florida man, that's true.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Peyton, Florida woman arrests after attempting to pay court fees
with Cole's gift cards.
Speaker 9 (37:00):
Florida, Florida man.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
That's Florida fake, Florida fa. Just to help me out.
When I say Florida woman, that means the answer is
either Florida woman or Florida.
Speaker 9 (37:08):
Fath I say.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Kyle. Florida woman arrested after fiance discovered she'd been putting
prozac in his protein shakes for fourteen months.
Speaker 8 (37:17):
Florida woman.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
That is Florida fake.
Speaker 8 (37:19):
No, Well, I feel like that literally happened. Like I
feel like I remember that headlight rich.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Florida woman arrested after showing up to a city council
meeting in a Chewbacca costume to protest the new parking ordinance.
Speaker 12 (37:32):
God, I feel like I've seen that. Florida woman. Florida fake.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Oh Peyton, Florida man arrested after claiming he was kidnapped
by dolphins to build underwater Dolphin City.
Speaker 9 (37:44):
Florida man.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
That is Florida fake. But this is a trick question.
The story was reported in the mainstream media.
Speaker 9 (37:50):
Botte that sounded familiar.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
And that's my fun little dog shot.
Speaker 8 (37:57):
I feel like we all lost.
Speaker 21 (38:01):
Right.
Speaker 14 (38:18):
It's Friday and a game for you.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
John Dane Rich. So, Peyton's been married for what two
months now? Yeah, just about two months, and this is
breaking news. I can't wait to hear she found something
out about Kadeem, her husband that you didn't know before
you got married.
Speaker 9 (38:36):
I feel so betrayed. And to be completely honest, I
feel like our entire relationship and marriage has been based
on a lie.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
What really I do?
Speaker 9 (38:45):
I do? He gets on my nerves I I discovered
about him. This is so stupid. Okay, So you know
KaDee and I we actually met in college playing basketball.
He played basketball his whole life. I played basketball my
whole life. Both their dads were our coaches growing up.
That's where we that's where we are, that's where we connect. Right. So,
(39:06):
Kadem he actually shoots the basketball with his left hand,
but he writes and eats with his right hand. So
he told me when we first started dating that when
he was like three or four, when he really started
to pick up a basketball, that he broke his right arm,
so he had to learn how to shoot with his
left hand. I was like, makes sense to me. You
(39:26):
do everything else with your right hand, You're just a
left handed shooter. Pretty cool. Whatever come to find out.
Apparently this mofo is ambidextrious.
Speaker 12 (39:34):
He's not just left handed.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
So did he not break his arm?
Speaker 9 (39:39):
He didn't break his army straight up? This lie?
Speaker 18 (39:42):
Why wouldn't he just says.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
I would think the bigger thing is not about being ambidextriates,
so that he lies.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
Yeah, why he just also got on him.
Speaker 9 (39:50):
But I was like, why would you make that story
up and tell me that? He was like I told
you that. I was like, yeah, So apparently this is
just something he tells random people. So apparently I was
just a random person at one point.
Speaker 8 (40:01):
And why you were?
Speaker 2 (40:03):
You were betray Could he write both perfectly?
Speaker 17 (40:06):
No?
Speaker 9 (40:06):
He so he's he can write with his right hand,
but if like he were to flex or punch, he's
punching with his left sense. But if he was going
to go kick somebody, he's kicking with his right foot.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Do you know what happened to Rich? Tell the story?
Speaker 12 (40:18):
Rich, I'm left handed, but I went to a Catholic school.
In all the desks for those little right handed desks,
and I couldn't reach over far enough to write. And
then one of my nuns said, well, the devil is
left handed, So I switched to my right hand.
Speaker 8 (40:33):
That is die a bar.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
I even got.
Speaker 12 (40:38):
I asked my parents to put me in a class
where they would pull me out of class and show
me how to write with my right hand on the
but you see, like, how crazy do you see how
crazy neat my writing is? That's because of all that,
because I was afraid to write.
Speaker 9 (40:53):
The nuns used to walk around with like the rulers
back then.
Speaker 12 (40:56):
But there when we used to have to do essays,
I could flip back and forth pretty regular. I'd write
something with my right and then I'd switched to my
left and you couldn't tell the difference.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Oh, hold on, So Payne found out that her husband
is ambidextrious, that's the big lie before she got married, Sarah, Sarah,
what did you find out about your significant other after
you got married?
Speaker 4 (41:15):
It was a couple of years after that. He showed
me a YouTube video of himself up against Joey Chestnut,
the world hot dog eating champion.
Speaker 8 (41:25):
No way, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (41:27):
I'm assuming he did not win. He did not win,
but he's right next to him sucking down hot dogs
left the right.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Yeah, he signed up because he was a little bit
inebriated and he decided he wanted some free sausages.
Speaker 12 (41:40):
Well, I get that. How did he how did he do?
Speaker 2 (41:43):
Did he?
Speaker 12 (41:43):
Was he at least in the in the competition?
Speaker 4 (41:47):
No?
Speaker 11 (41:47):
No, no, he's the guy next.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
To the bad If you would have known this before
he got married. But you've been like, WHOA hold on
a minute, I don't think so well.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
I think it would have sealed the deal a lot quicker.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
All right, Sarah, thank you for calling in. Christina, what
did you find out about your certnificate other after you
got married?
Speaker 20 (42:09):
I found out literally during an episode of Everyone Loves Raymond.
This is after three years, and I said, could you
imagine if there's something that I was doing that you
repeatedly did not like? And that's when he told me
he actually doesn't like anything with lemons, referring to my
lemon chicken.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Oh no, so you make him lemon chicken. He would
still eat it.
Speaker 17 (42:34):
Oh.
Speaker 20 (42:34):
I was making it once a week and he was
eating it the whole thing. Never said anything, he said something. Yeah,
he finally said something during an episode of Everyone Loves Ms.
Speaker 8 (42:48):
Kind of cute.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
Thank you, Christina, thanks for sharing that story. These are
really cute. I thought it was going to go totally soap.
I found out that he was, you know, gay onlyfan
star geez.
Speaker 9 (42:57):
That's how I felt.
Speaker 8 (43:00):
Sure extreme.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
You are shook to the core. Why would you let's
do more? Eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven.
What did you find out about your significate other after
you got married? We'll talk to you next, John jaye Rich.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
We just want to hear from you, and I don't
think that's too much to ask. And it's really stressing
me out that you're not calling eight seven seven nine
three seven one oh four seven John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Stephanie Peyton told us that she learned something about her
husband after they got married. They'll have been married two months.
She learned that he's ambidextrious. What did you learn about
your significant other after you got married?
Speaker 21 (43:37):
My husband and I dated for nine years before we
got married, and three years after he and I got married,
I found out he had a brother.
Speaker 18 (43:45):
What well, no, I'll even bash up.
Speaker 21 (43:50):
Even before we got married, two weeks before we got married,
he came home. We had just moved in together, getting
ready for the wedding, and he came home one day,
two weeks before we got married, and he said, hey,
my brother Tony wants to come over and meet you,
and I went.
Speaker 19 (44:04):
Who's Tony my brother?
Speaker 21 (44:06):
Okay, Well I didn't think much of about it. And
then three years afterwards, we have a joint profile on
Facebook and I get this sund request from somebody and
I said, hey, do you know who this person is?
He goes, yeah, that's my brother, and I'm like, okay,
wait a minute, are there any other siblings I need.
Speaker 17 (44:22):
To know about?
Speaker 18 (44:23):
Hilarious time, No, that was the last one.
Speaker 12 (44:27):
There's some dudes that if you don't ask him, you
just don't find out. It's not like they're trying to
keep it from you, they just don't share.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
I don't share, they don't.
Speaker 26 (44:36):
Yeah, that was.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
A little bit of a surprise.
Speaker 2 (44:38):
He Stephanie, thanks for listening, Thanks for calling in, Thank
you for listening. Yeah you got it eight seven seven
nine four seven. Want to know what did you find
out about your sidi't g another after he got married
a couple of texts, Lisa says that he drank two
beers every night after he got home from work. I
was worried to it increased and I told him I
wouldn't be married to an alcoholic. Forty years later, it's
(45:00):
still just two beers every night.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
My mom found out after twenty years of marriage that
my dad had been married two times prior instead of one.
During my grandmother's funeral, both ex wives and my mom
were in attendance to pay respect. My dad's response was,
we didn't have kids, so it didn't seem like it mattered.
It was just my practice marriage. He's like, you, I
got it right. When we got married. Betty says. We
(45:25):
got married. When he met me, he told me his
name was NICKI when he got married, I learned out
that his name was Miguel. Violet says. I got married,
I found out he folds the towels wrong. Charmon, what'd
you find out about your significant other? Sharman? Sharman, Oh,
(45:49):
my God might have us muted. Sure, Sharman, I'm gonna
keep go a couple more of these, Charman, hopefully you
can pick up. Let's see found out that she was by. Interesting. Okay,
we'll hold on, Charman, We'll come back to you. Gloria.
Speaker 20 (46:08):
Hello, I found out that he was by and I had.
Speaker 18 (46:14):
Like I kind of knew, but once we got married,
he came clean.
Speaker 12 (46:19):
Why not share that before you think that would be
something you need to know.
Speaker 8 (46:24):
But is that why I did he share that?
Speaker 10 (46:26):
Because he wanted to bring someone else in? Like, what
was the point of sharing that?
Speaker 8 (46:31):
It's like at that point, you guys.
Speaker 20 (46:34):
I think I think it was, Well, it was during
COVID and you know a lot of people were going
through loneliness, that kind of thing.
Speaker 6 (46:44):
So I think that when I'm pumpling to me, yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Your your quarantine went on full around what best exactly?
Let's see let's see how you are. Are you still
with him, Gloria, Yes.
Speaker 6 (46:57):
I am.
Speaker 18 (46:58):
We've been married for nine years now.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Well, thanks for calling in, Thank you. Let's check in
with Charman. Charmany there, Charman, not Sherman, Sharman.
Speaker 8 (47:11):
Anyway, she was Charmaine.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
Maybe Charlemagne. It's Charlemagne and the Breakfast. I'll put her
back on hold. One eatanity, lay down, okay, listen. I'm
hesitant to do this, you guys, okay, so bear with me,
but let's just try it. Charman, good morning.
Speaker 26 (47:31):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
Well you guys are gonna probably be blown away by this.
But after I got married, I found out that my
husband is a.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Gang member, oh like gang member, like street gang or
like cartel or like mafia.
Speaker 6 (48:03):
Like.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
A Latin King.
Speaker 8 (48:07):
Gang member, and I hesitate to ask how you found out?
Speaker 2 (48:13):
How do you stumble a eight heads in a bag?
Speaker 8 (48:16):
Yeah, you know exactly.
Speaker 3 (48:19):
No, he he got a phone call and he was
very hush hush about it. So I kept questioning and
questioning him, and he ended up telling me, and I'm like,
oh my god, why didn't you tell me this before
we got married? Because I didn't think you would marry me?
And I was like, you know, I don't. I don't
judge people, but I wish he would have told me
(48:40):
that that's what he was, not that. I mean, I
know I'm protected. I'm not worried about that, but just
knowing and him keeping something so big from me was
like way out there.
Speaker 12 (48:52):
So is the call from him when he gets a call,
is it he's getting, you know, assigned a task or
something from the gang?
Speaker 3 (49:02):
Yes, and no he's God, I don't know if I
should say that on the air, but yeah, he's getting
a call for for him to go do things.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
But is he a hit man?
Speaker 3 (49:16):
Since I don't, I really I.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
Don't want to see for independent higher So you're so
you're still you're still married to him.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
Oh, definitely, But he.
Speaker 2 (49:32):
Lives in the United States. He lives in the United States,
but works for a Mexican cartel.
Speaker 3 (49:38):
Well he's Puerto Rican cartel, Mexican cartel, he's not a cartel.
Things get done and things get said, so you know,
and it's never it's it's never about anything that has
to do with a family or anything like that. It's
just you know, you just you.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
You don't.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
You can't cross him. And he's not a bad guy,
the biggest heart in the world that I've ever met,
Like he's he's my everything. But just I wish he
would have said something, you know, so I would have
been prepared because the phone call, I wasn't. I wasn't
prepared for.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Hey, what happened in the beginning of this phone I
tried to pick you up twice and it didn't work.
And I'm doing something that I hate doing.
Speaker 8 (50:17):
So I was trying to stop her from saying there.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
No, no, no, I was gonna say because my wife,
she's one of these people were like her and I
are talking and if there's a disconnection on the phone
when she calls back, the whole conversation about what happened,
what happened. I'm driving through a tunnel. Why did we
get disconnected? It must be you, It must not be
don't mean. I'm like, it doesn't matter, which is what
we would we talk about. But I don't understand. My
phone must be acting weird. And that's the whole conversation.
(50:40):
And then I go, Okay, I gotta go buy. So
I was like, I want to know what happened.
Speaker 11 (50:43):
To try.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
We tried to pick up twice. Try to pick up twice,
CA and pigure up what happened? And I don't. And
it's funny because I'm doing what. I despise what happened?
We tried to pick up twice?
Speaker 3 (50:51):
You doing that, John Jay, I do appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
Doing that because just let your husband know I was
nice to you.
Speaker 3 (50:59):
He is very nice to me. I don't think I
could do any wrong in his eyes from what he says.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
So I am thank you for calling in and thanks
for listening. I'm glad you called back.
Speaker 3 (51:10):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
The next segment we're going to do is called second
Date Update because that's what we're going to try and
get and that's what the bit is called Second Date
Update starts right now on John Jay and Ridge.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
Time for second date update. You meet somebody, got a date,
you have a great time, you expected any second date,
it doesn't happen, So you come to us. That's what
Tyler is doing. Good morning, Tyler, Hey, good morning. What's
your story? Tell us about this date? How you met?
Who the person is? All that jazz?
Speaker 11 (51:39):
Yeah so, uh so I met this girl, Emma about
two weeks ago through the dating apps, and yeah, this
I I feel like I'm going crazy because it was
honestly one of the first, the best first dates I
went on in a long time. You know, It's like
everything was just connecting. We're laughing, we're joking. I had
(52:00):
to get out, go get food, but we ended up
just staying out a lot longer than we initially planned it,
going on a walk afterwards, and and then after that
this is what gets me. Uh we texted every day
NonStop for like a week straight, you know, kind of
the good morning text, random memes, just funny jokes, little
(52:21):
late night conversations. You know, we were doing the whole thing,
and we kept talking about future plans and stuff until
kind of felt like all the nowhere, she just kind
of stopped responding all of a sudden. I don't know why.
I don't know if I send something. I've been going
over my text just non stop.
Speaker 6 (52:36):
To see if it was something I said.
Speaker 2 (52:39):
I can't.
Speaker 11 (52:39):
I can't think of anything. So maybe it's another person's
back into her life or I have no idea really,
so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
Speaker 12 (52:49):
Well, what was the last text before she stopped responding
that you had you known opinion or a joke or something.
What did it say?
Speaker 9 (52:58):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (52:58):
The last one was just it was of funny. It
was a cute little dog. I sent a little little.
Speaker 8 (53:03):
Gift, very offensive.
Speaker 11 (53:08):
That we had been sending stuff like that back and
forth for a little bit, so I felt like, you know,
it wasn't it was on par with everything we were doing.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
It didn't It didn't you know.
Speaker 10 (53:19):
I feel I would be confused too, because there wasn't
really anything there to me that stands out as like
that has to be it.
Speaker 11 (53:26):
Well, yeah, no, I like I believe me. I've gone
over a million times in my head like what did
I do? What?
Speaker 6 (53:32):
What?
Speaker 11 (53:33):
What could I have said? And it's just I can't
find anything.
Speaker 2 (53:35):
So, you know, it's weird when this happens. I think
in the in the non dating world, you know, when
you text someone and they don't get back to you.
I can't imagine what it'd be like in the dating world,
like worse, right, because now the right right, right, Like
I'll telling you guys, I've texted. I kind of told
you guys, I've texted somebody a couple of weeks ago
(53:56):
and they haven't responded to my text yet. And I
was asking for something and they haven't responded, And I'm like,
I know they were busy, like, but did they see
my text? And I respond it still says delivered on it, right,
So that means they could not have seen it, right.
Speaker 12 (54:10):
Yeah, right, could have been pushed down to the bottom
of their thing and they just have a notice.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
So I kind of want to bring it back up again,
but they also don't want to be annoying. But at
the same time, I also think I should be. It's
kind of weird, but I can't imagine if someone was dating,
like right, or you do a question mark put little
Google eyes?
Speaker 9 (54:27):
Did I do that? Like if somebody doesn't respond back,
I just sent the question mark on the iPhone.
Speaker 12 (54:34):
Maybe she's got a new phone and she just hasn't
had her text populate yet, so she may maybe thinks
that you're not texting her.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
What if you texted her right now? Will we're on
hold and just said I love you. All right, we'll
get her on the phone. We'll get em on the phone.
We're gonna find out why she's blowing you off. Okay,
so hank tight. Second ate update continues.
Speaker 1 (54:56):
Next, Oh cool, your scanner stopped. It's John Jay and.
Speaker 2 (55:00):
She are in the middle of second date update. This
is about Tyler and Emma.
Speaker 12 (55:03):
Well, Tyler and Emma had what Tyler calls the best
first date in a long time. He said, everything clicked.
They even stayed out later than planned. They went on
a walk. They'd been texting every day, late night texts,
little jokes, and then he sent her the dog Jeff
or Kiff, however you wish to pronounce it. That sent
(55:25):
Emma into the void. She stopped texting Tyler, and now
he feels all alone in this big, crazy world and
wants to know what went down.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
All right, good recap, Tyler. You're ready to call her? Yes,
thank you? You stay quiet. We're doing on the phone,
find out what went wrong in her eyes?
Speaker 23 (55:59):
Hello, Hi, is this Emma.
Speaker 9 (56:02):
Yes, hi, Emma, my name is Peyton. I'm with John
Jaye Rich and we just wanted to talk to you
about a few things on the radio if you're free
this morning.
Speaker 6 (56:11):
I have a fume. Okay, what's going on?
Speaker 2 (56:15):
Well, we got a call from a guy on a
radio show that was telling us about a date he
went on with. He said, it's one of the best
dates he's ever been on. He thought the chemistry was great,
and now she's kind of ghosted him and he doesn't
know why. So we're going around the room giving him, well,
maybe this happened, maybe this happened, and he's like no,
So we said, can we call her? So long story short, Emma,
(56:35):
you are the girl. Tyler is, Yeah, Tyler is the guy.
He said, You guys had a fantastic date.
Speaker 6 (56:43):
Oh my god, really, oh god, seriously, this is so crazy.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
Yeah, Okay, tell us, is there a reason you're blowing
him off?
Speaker 19 (56:54):
Well?
Speaker 6 (56:54):
I would really love everyone to understand that I did
like him at first. I really did. Yeah, he was
funny and cute and like super easy to talk to,
just like I really liked him. We talked NonStop for
a week after we went out. I was super excited
about him at first.
Speaker 9 (57:14):
So what did he do? Was it on the date
or well, like, was it after because I'm like in
my head, I'm like, why would you continue to text
him for a week after?
Speaker 6 (57:22):
No, it was not on the date. It was like
stuff got weird like after the date. Because I'm like
a bartender and you know, so obviously people are inside
my job all the time, and that's so that's not weird.
But like this man randomly shows up with two of
(57:43):
his buddies and they're just like dressed up like they're
undercover or something like undercover cops, like with their you know,
hoodies up and sunglasses on at night inside and they're
like sitting all the way in the corner staring at
me like every five seconds. I'm like, bro, I'm you
think I'm not going to recognize you. It was just
(58:06):
so weird, and he just never even came up to
say hi to me. I was just like, what are
you even doing? If you want to see me, that's
so fine, but I just feel like you're doing like
this surveillance operation at my place of work, and I
don't know, it's just awkward, and I just it's kind
of like made me start looking at him differently after that.
Speaker 11 (58:28):
Oh my god, I'm so embarrassed and sorry for that.
Speaker 8 (58:32):
Why did you do that?
Speaker 18 (58:34):
Tyler? Hey?
Speaker 11 (58:37):
Yeah, sorry, I I I didn't know that you saw us.
I thought we were being chill and you're on the phone. Yeah, no, okay,
I know. I'm sorry. This looks bad. And I was like,
I just freaked out because I cared about you. I
just wanted to just I just want to see you,
(58:58):
make sure you know.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
I don't even know.
Speaker 4 (59:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (59:01):
I just I feel like I do crazy stuff when
I when I start falling for somebody.
Speaker 9 (59:08):
It's like the thing that like if you would have
just went in and said hi and been like, oh,
I was around town, like thought I would pop in.
But the fact that like you didn't say hell trying
to be in discussion so weird, Like.
Speaker 6 (59:20):
Literally like what the hell?
Speaker 12 (59:23):
Yeah, I think I'm gonna made the red call there.
Speaker 9 (59:28):
I would have said, hi, Hello, this is weird.
Speaker 2 (59:34):
It is weird.
Speaker 11 (59:35):
It's weird.
Speaker 4 (59:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (59:37):
I don't know why you just you stopped answering my
text out of nowhere, and it just kind of sent
me in my head and like I'm like what you know, Oh.
Speaker 6 (59:45):
My god, insane? Okay, with like the hoodies and the
sunglasses in the bar at night, Like, did you think
I wasn't gonna see you?
Speaker 11 (59:57):
Yeah, that's fair, that's fair, that makes sense, I think
I in my head, I was like, oh, we'll be
really discreet, we'll just go in, we'll see you know.
I just I just wanted to see you, to be honest,
You're right, I should have just said hello.
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
You make really bad choices. I think it's cute.
Speaker 9 (01:00:11):
I like, I get it. But like where I'm like, okay,
I get where I was coming from is the fact
that he didn't say hi, because like, what are you
plotting on me for? What are you trying to see
right now?
Speaker 11 (01:00:21):
No, it was not malicious, it was I am sorry
about that, and I like, again, I just wanted to
see you, make sure that everything was okay, that you
didn't you know, something didn't happened with us and I
blew it. But and I'm sorry, I don't know. Yeah,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 12 (01:00:36):
So the reason you didn't text him back is because
of the outfit, Like before that, he just wasn't waiting
long long enough for a return text.
Speaker 6 (01:00:45):
Yeah, he just like must I guess he freaked out
or something because like that, it wasn't that long and
just that was weird. You guys were just like crazy.
It's a red flag teenager like.
Speaker 11 (01:00:59):
Pen.
Speaker 6 (01:01:00):
I don't know nothing weird.
Speaker 11 (01:01:01):
No, I'm I promise not to do anything like that again.
I just need to be better about being up front,
you know, and uh, coming to you directly obviously. And
it's been a couple of times now it seems like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
That wasn't like I can see it, like, you know,
you're sitting there, you go in the state you He
thinks she's amazing, the date is great. He's talking to
his two buddies like I'm trying to put myself in
his mindset, and you're sitting at their apartment and you're saying,
this girl is amazing, she's fantastic, she's so beautiful, she's funny,
she's great. Oh what should do for them? She's a bartender.
Let's go visitor. No way, man, no way, come on,
let's go fit in her. Buddy. The buddies start talking
(01:01:35):
him into it, come on, come on, no, let's just go.
And they're fun guys and they go and they put
on they look stupid. And then she just sees them,
and so I could see her point of view. But
now that I know what he's saying and that what
she thinks about him, I can see it. It's just
stupid and funny at the same time.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Yeah, that's very accurate.
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
That's how Okay, see, I can see I have friends
like I mean, it's it comes from a good place
in my opinion.
Speaker 6 (01:02:01):
Once I realized it was you, I was like trying
not to laugh.
Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
It was.
Speaker 11 (01:02:07):
I wish I wish I had come up.
Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
I wish I had said something. She starts when she laughs.
She's good people. Yeah, so do you guys? Would you
guys go out again?
Speaker 28 (01:02:21):
I mean if you, if you, I you know, if
oh my god, if you would have just come up
and said, I like a normal person, I would have
didn't find with that. But whatever, Yeah, I'm still into you.
I would totally hang out.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Oh there we go.
Speaker 12 (01:02:34):
Oh we get off the phone and text her be weird,
don't be weird. Try to be normal.
Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
You could be weird the rest of their life. All right,
Thank you guys for calling in. Thanks for jumping I
