Speaker 1 (00:00):
And I'll write your name.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
What's crack-a-lackin'?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
This is the Big Boss Dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Bang, boom, what you gonna do?

Speaker 4 (00:13):
John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 5 (00:14):
We're not talking about Ren 1010.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
We're not talking about Lashley. It's the one and only dog, y'all.
The classy, sassy Big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
face to me and in the place to be. And
you're listening to John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 6 (00:26):
Wake your ass up.

Speaker 7 (00:28):
You can call us at 877-937-1047. You can also text us.
Text JJR, whatever you want to talk about, to 966. eight, nine, three, Nick,
our producer in the studio, you know, young dad.

Speaker 6 (00:42):
And when you're a young dad, you, you get volunteered.
What do you call it? Kyle, you called something.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
You're when you volunteer, I remember you're voluntold.

Speaker 6 (00:48):
You're voluntold.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
That's what you said.

Speaker 7 (00:49):
You bought your husband with time. So were you voluntold
this or did you do it on your own?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
So I was voluntold that I had the opportunity to, uh,
coach my son's T-ball team. Uh, if there's one sport
that I cannot coach, it's, T-ball. It's baseball.

Speaker 6 (01:09):
You can't?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
No, I am not a baseball player at all. But
you're a baseball fan. I love baseball, but I just
never got the mechanics of it. Anyway, so another one
of our friends was like, I will be the head coach,
but I can't be here for X week. And I'm like, okay,
then I'll take on the head coaching duties then. And

(01:31):
we're like midway through the season. They're four and five-year-olds,
and considering that fact alone... it's going all right you
know like there's a little chaos but nobody's afraid of
the ball everybody's like really willing to play we get
to the game where i am at home plate while
the kids are batting um and we get through the

(01:54):
one inning and everything's great you know all the kids
get to bat all you know every inning whatever blah
blah so we get to the second inning and i'm
Ready to go. And I'm feeling good. I'm like, man,
this is something that I didn't think I was going
to be able to do. I did not think I
was going to be able to rile these kids up
and get them motivated and ready to go. So I'm
feeling confident. And I put the ball in the tee.

(02:16):
And I check with the other team. Hey, are you
guys ready to go? And they're like, yeah. And as
they're saying yeah, and in my peripheral vision, I see
the bat being swung. This little monster... clocked me in
my left knee about as hard as any baseball has

(02:39):
ever been hit in the history of mankind.

Speaker 8 (02:44):
No.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
And on the air, I can't say the words that
I did say.

Speaker 9 (02:48):
In front of the children?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
In front of the children, in front of the children's parents. Like,
it was just like, oh, mother.

Speaker 10 (02:57):
Wow. Wow.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
And the coach that was at first base was like,
I didn't see it, but I heard it. And then
the coach at third base was like, no, I saw
and I heard it.

Speaker 11 (03:13):
He's like, maybe you should go sit down. We're at
a week now, guys. And my three toes, my small
three toes are numb.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Ow. Because I've got apparently some deep bone bruise.

Speaker 12 (03:27):
Are you okay? That goes all the way down?

Speaker 8 (03:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
And so I have retired from coaching.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
You know what's funny? If you're limping, hey, Nick, what happened?
T-ball accident. You can't say baseball. You can't say softball.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
You can't say T-ball. Anytime anybody says, like, why are
you limping? I have to tell them. It's a long story.
And I just leave it at that and I walk away. Yeah. Lisa,
you got a T-ball story?

Speaker 8 (03:55):
Yes, I do. And I got to tell you guys,
it is one that gets worse every second. So, okay,
so my nephew's at like this first football game of his. Okay,
super wholesome. Everyone's clapping and out of nowhere he swings.
And he lets go of the bat and then it
like helicopter launches and just stands and hits my ex-boyfriend

(04:17):
straight in the forehead.

Speaker 13 (04:18):
Oh, no.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
That really had to travel.

Speaker 8 (04:22):
It doesn't stop there. It does not stop there because
everyone then rushes over and the kid starts running the
bases like nothing happened. And then he trips over third,
which makes him take out the coach. And now there
are two grown adults on the ground. And this five-year-old
is just standing at home plate, just flossing.

Speaker 12 (04:44):
You know that?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 9 (04:49):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
That's the thing. The kids don't think twice about it.
They're just like, okay. They're like, my parents are making
me be here.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Lisa, thanks for sharing that story, Lisa. Thanks.

Speaker 9 (05:02):
Of course.

Speaker 7 (05:03):
You know, I remember, and it's so funny sometimes, I
have these memories that pop up because of this radio show.
But I don't know if you guys know, do you
guys ever know, did I ever bring it up, did
I ever bring it up that I coached my son's
soccer team?

Speaker 2 (05:13):
No, I don't remember that. My son, Kemp, was on a.

Speaker 7 (05:15):
Soccer team and there was a head coach and he,
I think the wives of all of them told me.
And we did it, and we bet a team that
we were going to win, and the bet payoff was
the two coaches, me and the other coach, whoever lost
the next game had to wear no shirt and a tutu.

Speaker 14 (05:34):
Yikes.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
And that's what you had to wear in the team photos.

Speaker 15 (05:37):
Oh, jeez.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
And we lost.

Speaker 10 (05:39):
No.

Speaker 9 (05:41):
Where is this team photo?

Speaker 6 (05:42):
It's framed in my son Kemp's bedroom.

Speaker 10 (05:44):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Bring it in.

Speaker 15 (05:45):
It's terrible.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
No shirt on.

Speaker 7 (05:48):
And it's everybody, all the other kids, the kids like
stand there normal, except Kemp's doing some weird pose. But
it's like the dad, one dad has got no shirt
on and a tutu. And then I'm on the other side,
no shirt on and a tutu.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
It's terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
Clearly 28 to 35% body fat in that photo. It's
John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 12 (06:12):
This is John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 15 (06:18):
I'm going to let you know the thing that your
Zodiac sign refuses to admit.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
All right, let's say hello to Mary Kay. Good morning,
Mary Kay.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Hi, good morning, guys.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
What's your sign?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
I'm an Aries.

Speaker 15 (06:31):
Okay, so my Aries, the thing that you guys refuse
to admit is that you aggressively create your own stress
by treating every single day like it's this high-stakes competitive race.
I promise nobody's trying to outwork you or outspeed you
at 9 a.m. Aries, you guys just completely look at
your own redlining over your basic to-do list.

Speaker 14 (06:52):
That sounds pretty accurate.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
We are our own worst enemies, I swear.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
For sure.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Oh, Mary Kay. Have a great day, Mary Kay.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
Thanks guys.

Speaker 14 (07:01):
You too.

Speaker 10 (07:02):
Bye-bye.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
Hello, Jen.

Speaker 12 (07:05):
Good morning. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
What's your sign, Jen?

Speaker 4 (07:08):
I'm a cancer.

Speaker 15 (07:10):
Okay, so for my cancers, the things that you guys
refuse to admit is that you actually enjoy swimming in
your own emotional misery sometimes. You hold on to grudges
like they're premium collectibles. Your hypersensitive water sign will rewrite
a tiny accidental text shown shift into this massive full-scale
betrayal just so you can feel something.

Speaker 13 (07:31):
Oh my gosh, I feel like you just scoped rich.

Speaker 14 (07:37):
Like I am very emotional.

Speaker 13 (07:39):
I don't hold grudges, but I love crying.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
You do?

Speaker 13 (07:44):
Yes, I'm having a rich moment right now.

Speaker 12 (07:46):
I don't love crying, but I mean, when you watch
Hail Mary and that rock tries to sacrifice themselves to save.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
That rock. That rock. That rock. Made you cry. I
cried over a rock.

Speaker 14 (08:01):
Thank you for scoping me, Pepe.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Bye. Thanks, Jen.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
All right, how about Libros?

Speaker 15 (08:06):
Libros, Kyle, you refuse to admit that your chronic indecisiveness
is actually a deep fear of everyone in the room
not liking you.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Ouch.

Speaker 15 (08:15):
You will spend 45 minutes violently agreeing with two opposite
sides of a fight just to maintain the peace in
the middle.

Speaker 9 (08:22):
Incorrect, Peyton.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
We agree because we can see both sides.

Speaker 9 (08:27):
We can see both sides.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (08:29):
Also, who wants everyone in the room to not like them?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Oh man.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
You know what's funny about it?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
You say that. So I have a, you know, the
highly successful John J Van Ness podcast. Yes.

Speaker 7 (08:43):
Also on Instagram, you can follow the John J Van
Ness podcast. I don't run that podcast. I have no,
no access to it or nothing. And there's a couple
of the guests I've interviewed has got some like a
negative comment or two and I feel bad for the guests. So.
I'll call up the guy that runs it, Tyler, my
podcast creator. And I'll be like, hey, somebody said something.
I go, can you do it? They don't need that.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Delete it.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
He's like, all right.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
And then the other day I was there doing the podcast.
And he goes, man, there's been a couple of haters
so far. It's because I've never seen so much hate.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
And I was like, huh?

Speaker 6 (09:15):
And I go, how many comments? Three comments he had
to delete. I go, bro, I get it.

Speaker 16 (09:20):
Thousands i go let it bounce off who cares three
and he goes yeah and then they get mad and
say why do you keep deleting comments like well block
those guys if they say why you delete comments because
we don't there's no room for negativity on this instagram
the john j vaness.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
Podcast is a positive podcast follow to instagram uh speaking
of john j vaness what's his instagram he's a virgo
what do you got for uh For Virgos.

Speaker 15 (09:44):
Well, the thing that my Virgos refuse to admit is
that your constant, quote unquote, helpful advice is actually just
a passive aggressive urge to micromanage and control everyone around you.
You truly believe you're saving the day when in reality,
people are just deeply exhausted by you.

Speaker 7 (09:59):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Wowzers. That works.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Sorry, it's the stars that set it on me. He
just says that works.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
That's fine. Did we get everybody?

Speaker 6 (10:08):
Did we do everybody's? Yeah, we're all good.

Speaker 8 (10:10):
All right.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
If you need to get your sound, I'll post it
on our website, johnjainrich.com.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I was a ghost.

Speaker 10 (10:16):
I was alone.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
You know.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
April, good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
You're on the air.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
How are you? Thanks for holding.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (10:29):
I'm good.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
How are you?

Speaker 12 (10:30):
Good.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
What's up?

Speaker 13 (10:32):
Oh, you know, I've got a lot going on. Yeah?

Speaker 16 (10:36):
Like?

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (10:38):
Like?

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Like what, April?

Speaker 10 (10:45):
April?

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Like what?

Speaker 10 (10:48):
Oh, so, um.

Speaker 7 (10:50):
You know.

Speaker 8 (10:50):
What?

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Sorry, April.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Leave her alone.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (10:59):
What's going on, April?

Speaker 12 (11:02):
Like what?

Speaker 13 (11:04):
Well, you know, I'm calling because my family has just
been on my back for quite a while.

Speaker 10 (11:11):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
How about? Is that it? Um.

Speaker 13 (11:15):
Okay, I've been single for about a year, and I
am really, really, really enjoying it. I feel like I'm
getting to know myself for the first time. But they
don't love it. My parents think that the longer I'm single,
the more likely it is that they will end up

(11:36):
with no grandkids, and that's just unfathomable to them.

Speaker 16 (11:40):
And so.

Speaker 13 (11:42):
I finally got tired of it.

Speaker 14 (11:43):
It was like a call every day.

Speaker 13 (11:44):
So I created an AI bot and I've been dating him.

Speaker 9 (11:51):
And this AI bot somehow appeases your family because they
don't know it's an AI bot or what?

Speaker 8 (11:57):
Exactly.

Speaker 13 (11:59):
I gave him everything. I gave him a name. I
have all these fun details about him that you'd know
if you were dating someone. And I told him that
he's a travel photographer, which explains why he's never around.
And they are just eating it up.

Speaker 12 (12:15):
What happens when it's time for the holidays?

Speaker 10 (12:19):
She's gone all year for that.

Speaker 9 (12:20):
They broke up.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
And by the way, I don't think she's alone. I
think a lot of people do this. That's what I've
been hearing a lot about.

Speaker 14 (12:28):
Exactly.

Speaker 13 (12:28):
And I thought I had until the holidays just sort
of figure that out. You know, we had a bad breakup.
Except now my sister just told me that she booked
this really fancy restaurant for my birthday. And she's insisting
that he come. So my deadline has moved up.

Speaker 8 (12:46):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
You just break up before then.

Speaker 12 (12:49):
Can you find somebody on a dating site that resembles
your AI bot and then just have them play the part?
And then you guys will actually fall in love like
every good rom-com?

Speaker 13 (12:59):
You know, that was my first idea. And I think
it's a good plan, right? I was wondering if it's
better to do that or... But I'm scared that they'll
find out that he'll slip up or something. Like, that
would have to be a good actor. Or I could
kill him off.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
Yeah, you break up the relationship.

Speaker 10 (13:17):
Kill him off?

Speaker 1 (13:18):
How do you kill him off? I have to go
to the funeral today.

Speaker 17 (13:21):
He died?

Speaker 10 (13:22):
What?

Speaker 12 (13:23):
That is so extreme. He was taking a selfie with
a leopard. He has a travel photographer, and the leopard
got him.

Speaker 15 (13:30):
That just happened to some girl in China. The snow leopard,
didn't you see that?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Yeah, there was a girl in China. They were hiking.
Isn't the Appalachian Mountains somewhere over there?

Speaker 2 (13:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 15 (13:39):
They were in the mountains where the snow mountains.

Speaker 6 (13:41):
It was a big story in Stacks and Hacks a
few weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yeah, she took a selfie. A few weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
And it attacked her. That's so scary, though.

Speaker 13 (13:49):
It just happens.

Speaker 8 (13:50):
I don't think it's... Does that make sense?

Speaker 9 (13:52):
I think if you kill off the AI chatbot boyfriend,
you're going to be hacked.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Just break up with him.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Just break up with him. I don't know.

Speaker 12 (14:00):
I like your extreme love of drama.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
You saw he was mean to a dog, and so
you ended it. And that was it.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
And then no one's going to question that.

Speaker 10 (14:06):
Okay.

Speaker 13 (14:06):
I was just scared to hire somebody or, or find
somebody on a dating app because then I've, I've showed
them pictures that I've generated.

Speaker 12 (14:16):
You're not falling for this AI bot.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Are you?

Speaker 12 (14:18):
Cause that's another good rom-com.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
She gave all her money.

Speaker 13 (14:23):
Really bad idea on my part. I'm so far.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
No, she created him and he scammed her out all
her money.

Speaker 10 (14:29):
Oh no.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
All right.

Speaker 6 (14:31):
Well, you're in the tough bind too, man. Well, Thanks
for calling in, April.

Speaker 13 (14:36):
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 6 (14:37):
Totally.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
I mean, I think what you're going through right now
is actually going to be more common than we think,
especially now when you put these chatbots. You put the
personality into a humanoid robot, and then you have a person.
There are going to be more and more similar people.

Speaker 9 (14:49):
Yeah, once they start releasing those robots.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
That's the future. All right, April.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
Thanks for listening.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
I got a DM from Andrea. Really, really interesting situation
she's in. And, well, I said, can we get your number?
You got to come and tell the story.

Speaker 6 (15:07):
Andrea, good morning.

Speaker 14 (15:08):
Good morning, guys.

Speaker 6 (15:09):
What's going on?

Speaker 14 (15:11):
Well, my poor grandmother, she's in her 80s. And my
grandpa passed away recently. And she was married to him
for over 40 years. And now she is single and
ready to mingle and has a very active Facebook life now. Um,
and we've noticed she started sharing a lot of pictures

(15:32):
of like Kevin Costner and like sharing from the specific site. Um,
and we, at first we're.

Speaker 8 (15:39):
Like, oh, that's weird.

Speaker 14 (15:41):
And then the more she started sharing, the more we
started realizing, oh, she, she thinks she's talking to this
person and she doesn't even realize it says Kevin Costner
fan page and Um, but this accountant started commenting on
her stuff. She started commenting on his stuff and we

(16:01):
thought it.

Speaker 8 (16:01):
Was cute at first.

Speaker 14 (16:03):
It was kind of silly. You know, he would say
how beautiful she is. Um, and then as the weeks
went by, we realized she's definitely sending this man money
and she has no idea that these comments are public. Um,
and I, John Jay, I think you'll like this. she
also thinks she's talking to, um, Mark Harmon.

Speaker 9 (16:25):
Mark definitely doesn't make, um, Kevin.

Speaker 14 (16:29):
Costner is definitely her number one, but, um, Yeah, I
told my dad and I said, you got to tell her.
She doesn't know that these are public messages and not him.

(16:53):
And she got pretty defensive. She said, no, this is
Mark Harmon and this is Kevin Costner. Don't you worry.
You know, it's just friends and I'm not sending him money.
But her Facebook posts are definitely insinuating otherwise.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Why would she send Kevin Costner money? I mean, I
know he's out of work now.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Why would Kevin say he needed it?

Speaker 6 (17:13):
Because he's like, hey, I'm not in season six of Yellowstone.

Speaker 10 (17:15):
Right.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
Like, you know what I mean? Like, why would she
do that?

Speaker 17 (17:21):
I know.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (17:24):
But she's very happy. And does not want people to
disrupt her happiness. But she definitely has no idea that
these are public messages.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Is your grandma, like, is she, like, losing her mind?

Speaker 14 (17:36):
Like, seriously.

Speaker 15 (17:37):
Because, you know, when you get older, like, things change
and things like that. Is she a little crazy because
she's getting older?

Speaker 14 (17:42):
I think she's definitely a thousand percent.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Okay.

Speaker 14 (17:47):
But still has the capability of sending money.

Speaker 12 (17:51):
Isn't that the slow roll where they just give her
compliments and then soon, I'm air-quoting Kevin Costner, is going
to be like, I need a little money to help
Horizon 2 get off the ground, but I'll pay you
right back. Isn't that the way those things always roll out?

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Exactly.

Speaker 14 (18:05):
But then what's sad is at one point, her most
recent message was on his comments, and she said, I'm tired.

Speaker 13 (18:12):
Of you giving me mixed signals. I just want to know.

Speaker 14 (18:19):
The truth. So she's, she's kind of catching on. Maybe, um,
that maybe he's a little shady, but, um.

Speaker 6 (18:27):
Does she call him Kevin or Kevin Costner?

Speaker 7 (18:29):
I think Kevin.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
Oh, look at this.

Speaker 14 (18:35):
But anyway, that reminded me of Grant. I just want
to know how he handled his situation back in the
day with his mom. I feel like I never heard
a follow-up.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
Okay, well, Grant is in here, but let me just
read you this headline.

Speaker 7 (18:45):
I just typed in Kevin Costner scams, and it says,
this woman says, big article, I was scammed out of
$ 200, 000 by a fake Kevin Costner.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Dang.

Speaker 6 (18:56):
Man, do you got to be.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Oh, no.

Speaker 10 (18:57):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (18:57):
All right, so, Grant, what happened to you? Because remember,
your mom was sending money to.

Speaker 10 (19:00):
Nigeria.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Nigeria.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
I mean, well, I mean, to several people who all
ended up being, I think, the same person.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
But you got very involved.

Speaker 5 (19:10):
Oh, man, I got blocked by, like, I was calling
down there, like, probably four or five times, like, a
week and getting a hold of people and talking to
them to record evidence, basically, that, hey, this is a scam.

Speaker 6 (19:23):
For your mom, not for a government or to arrest them.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
No, no, no.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
I mean, there's no jurisdiction anyway. Like, nobody can do
anything here. for a crime that's happening over there but
i think like ultimately the stuff that ends up happening
with like this kevin costner scam is they'll say oh
you caught me i'm not kevin costner but we have
this amazing emotional connection right and then they're like well
yeah he is a scammer but this is why he

(19:48):
did this we still have had these conversations.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
We've still talked.

Speaker 12 (19:51):
We've still established this connection.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
Even though he lied to me about being Kevin Costner,
he's still a really great guy that needs $ 200 for
a new pair of shoes.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
And your mom fell for that?

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (20:03):
Is your mom done with the Nigerian people?

Speaker 2 (20:05):
I think so.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
Honestly, there's a point, too, where it's like, I love
my mom, and I'm not going to be her boss.
I'm not going to be the guy who's like, you
can't talk to whoever you want to talk to. You
can't do what you want to do. So at a
point I was just like, you know what? I did
everything I could. I've literally become enemy number one in
this Nigerian hair salon. Uh, so, uh, I did my

(20:28):
part and she, I think has now moved on and
is now talking to Kevin Costner.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (20:33):
Kevin Costner.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
I'm going to Kevin.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
I'm going to uncle Kev's.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
But you brought up Mark Harmon, by the way, Andrea,
you brought up Mark Harmon and, uh, We're big fans
of Mark Harmon over here.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Hello, I'm Mark Harmon. Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark Harmon. Mark Harmon.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
This movie starring Mark Harmon on TV.

Speaker 7 (20:54):
Look at Mark Harmon. It starred Mark Harmon. Wait, look
up Mark Harmon too. Mark Harmon played him early. I
think it might have been the 80s or something. And
Mark Harmon is really good. Yeah, that's Mark Harmon. That's
Mark Harmon. What do you see here, Lois?

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Do we have to? What do you see?

Speaker 1 (21:08):
A picture of Mark Harmon.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
A picture of Mark Harmon, the greatest actor who ever lived.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Do you see a wheelchair under Mark Harmon?

Speaker 13 (21:16):
Peter.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Lois, do you see a wheelchair under Mark Harmon?

Speaker 10 (21:23):
No.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
No, you do not. Mark Harmon.

Speaker 7 (21:26):
I was a big fan of Mark Harmon. Well, we
hope she stops sending money to Kevin Costner.

Speaker 14 (21:32):
Yeah, me too. Well, Grant, I'm glad your mom is
doing well, too.

Speaker 12 (21:36):
Well, thank you.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
I would just tell your dad or whoever is involved
just like, yeah, you know, be like, hey, what's the deal?
Ask the questions. They are hard to give logical answers to. Like,
have you met this guy? Are you planning on meeting
this guy?

Speaker 10 (21:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
What's his plan moving forward with you? And because, you know,
you're you've got a financial, you know, thing going on
that you I don't know.

Speaker 14 (21:58):
Who is this co-star?

Speaker 6 (21:58):
No way out.

Speaker 14 (21:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (22:01):
Ask a bunch of Kevin or Kevin Costner trivia and
see if she gets it.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
All right.

Speaker 6 (22:09):
Thank you, Andrea. Thanks for calling.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
I hope Grant helped you a little bit.

Speaker 8 (22:12):
Thanks guys.

Speaker 10 (22:13):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 16 (22:17):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Bye-bye. Bye.

Speaker 7 (22:22):
It's time for stacks and acts. I have stacks of information.
Rich has life hacks. I start off my stacks of
information by playing a little song.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Guess who this is?

Speaker 10 (22:32):
Ed Sheeran.

Speaker 15 (22:45):
I would say, like, let's say Sam Hunt since you
just talked about him.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
It's the NBA star Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
No way.

Speaker 6 (22:51):
Really?

Speaker 10 (22:51):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (22:52):
Jimmy Butler is releasing a country album. That's a clip
of a song.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Not bad.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
That doesn't even sound like Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
It's not A.I. Jimmy Butler? It's not A.I. It's not A.I.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Oh, it's a trippy.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Anyway, yeah, so that was kind of cool.

Speaker 6 (23:04):
And listen to this. So this is a big story.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
A truck carrying fireworks exploded on I-17 in Tennessee. The
video's amazing. It goes on and on and on. We've exploded.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
Okay, now, I might need a little help explaining this.
The Financial Times reports that OpenAI is ready to move
on from ChatGPT because chat is dead. Apparently, in a
matter of weeks, it's going to transform into a super
app described as a gateway for agents and coding tools

(23:47):
to generate more revenue. I thought OpenAI and Chachapiti were
the same thing, but I don't know what that means.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Does anybody make sense, anybody?

Speaker 9 (23:54):
Isn't that what it's saying?

Speaker 12 (23:56):
Unless it can write code to come up with apps
and everything, so it's ready to move on from just that.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
But no more Chachapiti? Like, I love Chachapiti.

Speaker 9 (24:03):
I love Chachapiti.

Speaker 15 (24:04):
Chachapiti.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
Woman was cleaning out her garage. Her husband died about
10 years ago, and she hadn't really cleaned out the freezer.
She goes to clean out the freezer, and she finds
20 sticks of live dynamite. The bomb squad had to
come out. Police in California are investigating a road rage
incident that ended up with one person hitting the other
person over the head with a ukulele.

Speaker 15 (24:29):
What?

Speaker 6 (24:30):
Both drivers left the scene.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
It doesn't sound like there are any suspects yet.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
A ukulele?

Speaker 12 (24:34):
It doesn't sound like that'd be that painful.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Just randomly got one in the back.

Speaker 9 (24:37):
Just like, you know, sometimes you got to use whatever's
around you.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
A new study says laughter can help kids lower stress,
straighten relationships, and even improve their brain development.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
So it's good to get laughing at home.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
Business Insider has a list of the highest paying jobs
in every state. They're all chief executives, health care jobs, lawyers, managers,
pilots and flight engineers and software developers. Well, those are
all high paying jobs.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yeah, it sounds like it. All right.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
So Dan Sullivan is accusing Dan Sullivan of rigging a
Senate race. If you don't know, there are two Republicans
with the same name in Alaska. And they're trashing each other.

Speaker 12 (25:18):
How confusing.

Speaker 7 (25:19):
How, like, Dan Sullivan's, like, all pissed off at the
other Dan Sullivan and doing interviews.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
And it's so hard to follow.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
This is serious stuff. That's Dan Sullivan. People are going, oh,
there's two Dan Sullivans. Isn't that funny?

Speaker 18 (25:30):
No, it's cheating. And his whole purpose of running is
to confuse Alaskans and make them think Alaskan voters. that
somehow he's me. Then when he filed his campaign logo,
his letterhead, his website, all had my campaign logo that

(25:51):
I've had for 13 years.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Dan Sullivan.

Speaker 8 (25:54):
Dan.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Dan Sullivan's got beef.

Speaker 9 (25:56):
Dan and diabolical Dan.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Who to vote for and who not to vote for.
It's the same.

Speaker 7 (26:00):
A British woman found a very unusual way of keeping
her late pet dog close to her by having his
ashes mixed in with her semi-permanent eyeliner.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
What?

Speaker 13 (26:08):
Ew.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (26:09):
That grosses me out.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
No, that's gross.

Speaker 10 (26:12):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
That sounds like unsanitary.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I saw Peyton talk about this thing. You're talking about
this Korean thing?

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, Korean lash lift.

Speaker 7 (26:20):
Yeah, and there's the girl that runs our Love Pup
social media. She's amazing. Her name's Angelina. And I saw her,
so Peyton brought it up the other day.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
I just heard her saying it.

Speaker 7 (26:29):
And then on my Instagram, Angelina goes and gets Korean
eyeliner and, or what is it?

Speaker 15 (26:35):
Korean lash lift. It's your natural eyelash. It's basically, they
put some kind of product to lift your eyelashes, but
they do it different than a regular lash lift.

Speaker 6 (26:45):
I got to see this video because it looked like
they flipped her eyelids and did something.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah, that's kind of how it looked.

Speaker 6 (26:48):
Yeah, it looked a little like, oh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
That's a little weird.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Have Angelina send me her girl because I want it back.

Speaker 6 (26:53):
I'll send it to you.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Really?

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:54):
What do you have for life hacks, Rich?

Speaker 12 (26:56):
You ever go to a work site and you see
the people in the vest and you're like, I wonder
what color those vests mean. Here's how you can tell.
Here's your life hack. Yellow, commonly used by general workers.
I have a yellow vest. I know you have a
yellow vest.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Yeah, I try to sneak into Coachella with it.

Speaker 12 (27:11):
Well, so they think you're a general worker. Orange is
traffic people. Green, safety officers. Blue, electricians. Red, emergency responders.
And if you ever want to see the person in charge,
the supervisor, white vests, knowing the color code. can make
it easier for you to find the right person quickly
when time matters and you are under the gun. That

(27:32):
life hack and many more can be found at johnjainrich.com.

Speaker 10 (27:36):
I need.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
These beautiful things that I've got.

Speaker 6 (27:42):
Rich, the last couple of days, this could be a
new feature. It's called Food News.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Food News! Food News!

Speaker 3 (27:48):
And now, John Jay and Rich present Food News!

Speaker 12 (27:55):
Like there's stuff coming out that we need to know about. So,
you know, the 2016 trend that's been popping everywhere, Taco
Bell is all over it. So they are bringing back
four fan favorites for a limited time. But it's all
the things from 2016. The Naked Chicken Chalupa. That's the
one with the fried chicken shell. That's pretty good. They're

(28:18):
bringing back the Beefy Crunch Burrito with Flamin' Hot Fritos.
The classic Maxi Melt is back. And this I've never had,
but I'm all excited about it. And for dessert, Peyton,
the Caramel Apple Empanada.

Speaker 14 (28:33):
Yay!

Speaker 13 (28:34):
Yum!

Speaker 12 (28:35):
Let's go Taco Bell. In Denny's, this is the last
food news story, but this is also important. Denny's is
finally waking up to business. They're getting into catering now. Oh, wow.
Catering at 400 locations. They plan to expand it to
1,000 by the end of September. So the menu includes
the Grand Slam breakfast buffet, build-your-own burger bars, wings, and

(28:59):
individual breakfast boxes. So now you can have Denny's cater
your next focus group meeting. And so nothing says let's
crush that third quarter like some Denny's Grand Slam. Am
I right?

Speaker 2 (29:10):
And that is your food news.

Speaker 7 (29:12):
I would love to have Denny's cater an event. And
now the Kool-Aid test. Can you taste the flavor and
pick the flavor if you're blindfolded?

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 15 (29:21):
Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid, a five cent package makes two quarts of Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid,
nine great flavors to drink.

Speaker 10 (29:30):
You love Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid.

Speaker 12 (29:33):
Did they say nine great flavors?

Speaker 6 (29:34):
Yeah, this morning, Rich let us know that it was
National Kool-Aid Day.

Speaker 10 (29:38):
91 flavors.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Currently available.

Speaker 6 (29:41):
But did they say nine flavors here?

Speaker 12 (29:43):
They say nine flavors. They've come a long way.

Speaker 7 (29:45):
Could it be nine flavors and you misheard 91? Because
91 flavors is a lot.

Speaker 10 (29:49):
It's a lot.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
What is it? Orange?

Speaker 6 (29:51):
Kind of orange? Almost orange?

Speaker 12 (29:53):
Well, they do the, you know, they do the mix up,
like the charcoal berry fins, which is a combination of like,
you know, strawberry stuff. So we're going to, We're going
to see if we can tell the difference. I wonder
if it's kind of like if you're blindfolded that you
can't tell the difference. Like it's like tricks.

Speaker 9 (30:07):
So we have blindfolds here.

Speaker 6 (30:09):
Let's do the taste test.

Speaker 9 (30:10):
Let's put them on together.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Let's begin. Let's begin.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
I am not doing the taste test.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Why not?

Speaker 7 (30:15):
Because I don't want to put that. sugary stuff in
my system. I'm on a health food kick. What?

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Oh, come on.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
You need to take one for the team.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Don't be lame.

Speaker 6 (30:23):
Let me tell you guys something.

Speaker 10 (30:24):
Lame.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Hold on, hold on.

Speaker 7 (30:26):
I got a full body MRI on my, you remember
I told you guys through Simon Med, I got a
full body MRI and I went over it yesterday with
the doctor and I have reversed issues in my health.

Speaker 6 (30:35):
Like I am the healthiest I've ever been.

Speaker 15 (30:36):
So you think three sips of Kool-Aid is going to
reverse all of that stuff?

Speaker 7 (30:40):
Lame.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
Three sips of Kool-Aid is a gateway drug.

Speaker 12 (30:44):
That is true. Okay, I will support you in your
health journey.

Speaker 6 (30:48):
I'm going to say lame.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Rich running the board with a blindfold on is probably
like every day. I don't want to get it on
my laptop.

Speaker 12 (30:57):
I just need to know what side of me.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
No, I can't see.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
I want to make sure you can't see.

Speaker 9 (31:01):
All right, so what's happening right now? You're putting cups
in front of us with the Kool-Aid in it?

Speaker 6 (31:06):
I have a.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Cup in my hand.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
Why don't you guys let me narrate?

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Why didn't we already have the cups out? Listen, listen, listen.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
Let me narrate because you guys have blindfolds on, okay?

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Yes, I have a cup in my hand.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
So, Rich, I'm going to narrate.

Speaker 10 (31:16):
Full news.

Speaker 12 (31:18):
Kool-Aid.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Taste test. Rich has a cup in his hand.

Speaker 9 (31:21):
Oh, thank you, Dylan.

Speaker 7 (31:23):
Kyle has a cup in her hand. And Peyton has
a cup in her hand. Okay, so now, Nick, all
three of these are the same flavor, correct?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Yes, they're all the same flavor and no smelling beforehand. Okay,
fair enough.

Speaker 7 (31:32):
Okay, so now, when we tell them to take a sip,
then are they going to tell us the flavor they
think it is?

Speaker 8 (31:37):
See.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Okay, you guys ready?

Speaker 12 (31:39):
Dylan has very soft hands, by the way.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Okay, ready? Drink. Kyle's drinking. Go ahead, Rich. Everyone's drinking
but you. Okay. Okay, so Kyle, what flavor do you
think that is? Water.

Speaker 6 (31:53):
Did we skip on the sugar?

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Hold on.

Speaker 12 (31:54):
Okay, hold on. It's cherry.

Speaker 6 (31:57):
Okay, Peyton, what flavor do you think it is?

Speaker 1 (32:00):
That is definitely like a margarita.

Speaker 6 (32:02):
I don't think Kool-Aid makes margarita.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
I didn't taste that.

Speaker 6 (32:05):
Okay, Rich, what flavor do you think it is?

Speaker 2 (32:06):
I think it's grape.

Speaker 7 (32:07):
Okay. All right, so Dylan, you tell us the flavor.
What flavor was round one?

Speaker 1 (32:12):
That was original.

Speaker 12 (32:13):
That was original.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
So just red.

Speaker 9 (32:16):
We should have just guessed red.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
That's not.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Fruit Punch.

Speaker 7 (32:19):
All right, so Kyle's the closest. Kyle was the closest
to Cherry because I would lean towards Fruit Punch. Okay,
round two, you guys.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (32:26):
Round two of the Kool-Aid Challenge.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Here, I'll take yours away.

Speaker 12 (32:30):
We're all blindfolded as John Jay would narrate.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
You guys, I would like.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Rich can't handle silence. It is a real show.

Speaker 7 (32:40):
Well, we've got a music band playing. I'm watching them.
I was about to describe behind Rich. There are four
huge pitchers. We'll go round two. We're going to do
this for 91 flavors. This is flavor number two. Kyle,
go ahead.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Okay. Oh, I got it.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Oh, we're tasting it?

Speaker 2 (33:01):
This tastes like medicine to me.

Speaker 9 (33:04):
Kyle, what flavor do you need?

Speaker 12 (33:06):
It's grape. It's got to be grape. It's 100% grape. What?

Speaker 1 (33:10):
This is not grape. This is giving margarita.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
That is also red.

Speaker 10 (33:14):
Red, okay.

Speaker 9 (33:15):
I'll say cherry this time because the other one was
fruit pie.

Speaker 12 (33:19):
There's no margarita flavor of Kool-Aid.

Speaker 9 (33:21):
It tastes very similar.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Okay, then I guess lime?

Speaker 12 (33:26):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (33:26):
What?

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Okay, Rich, you said grape? 100% grape. 100% grape.

Speaker 6 (33:29):
Okay, so Dylan, what flavor was that?

Speaker 2 (33:31):
That was grape.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
All right.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
That was grape. One point.

Speaker 10 (33:34):
What?

Speaker 7 (33:34):
Okay, now we're going to go with round three. How
many rounds are we going to do?

Speaker 2 (33:39):
How many do we have?

Speaker 6 (33:39):
Just three.

Speaker 7 (33:40):
Oh, four.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Four rounds. There's four huge pitchers back there.

Speaker 8 (33:42):
Four.

Speaker 7 (33:43):
So far, only Rich has got it right, so I
question Kyle Payne's taste buds.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Especially Payne's everything.

Speaker 10 (33:50):
You know what?

Speaker 9 (33:51):
You don't get to talk crap because you're not doing it.

Speaker 6 (33:52):
I'm not talking crap. I'm just saying you thought both
were cherry.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Now, this does taste like cherry. I think this is cherry.

Speaker 7 (34:01):
Okay, so now everyone can take a sip since Rich
already did.

Speaker 12 (34:03):
It tastes like Robitussin to me. Robitussin, and that's cherry.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Wait, one more second.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Oh, it's disgusting.

Speaker 9 (34:11):
I think Rich is right. That does taste cherry-ish.

Speaker 6 (34:14):
So Kyle's got three cherries in a row.

Speaker 9 (34:16):
Yep, they all taste the same to me.

Speaker 6 (34:17):
That means you win a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
It all tastes like lime to me.

Speaker 7 (34:20):
If you were playing the slot machines right now, you'd
win a lot of money. What's happened with Peyton's taste buds? Okay,
so you said, Rich, you said that's cherry?

Speaker 2 (34:26):
100%.

Speaker 12 (34:26):
Dylan, what is that?

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Black cherry.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah!

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Okay, we'll take the W.

Speaker 5 (34:31):
Take the W on that.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Peyton, you should have gotten that.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Something is going on here. That's not right.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
All right, now we're going to go round four.

Speaker 9 (34:38):
All right, last and final taste test.

Speaker 5 (34:41):
Ugh.

Speaker 15 (34:42):
I feel like this Kool-Aid is spoiled.

Speaker 12 (34:45):
Okay, where is it?

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Okay, thank you. I wonder why every phone line is
ringing right now.

Speaker 6 (34:48):
Let me see. Hold on.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Hold on a second.

Speaker 6 (34:51):
Hello, John Jay and Rich, can you hit the button, Rich,
so I can turn on the Kool-Aid?

Speaker 2 (34:53):
I don't know where it is. Hold on.

Speaker 6 (34:54):
Which button is it to pick up the phone?

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Am I close?

Speaker 6 (34:57):
Hello, John Jay and Rich, are you there?

Speaker 17 (34:59):
You guys are so mean to Peyton. Why are you
putting alcohol in hers?

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Is there alcohol in yours? Is that what's happening? Is
that what she thought was a margarita? Hold on. That
is hilarious if that's what's happening right now.

Speaker 6 (35:13):
All right, hold on.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Hold on.

Speaker 9 (35:14):
I think this last one's blue.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Okay, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.

Speaker 8 (35:18):
Blue.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Blue raspberry. Yeah, that's blue raspberry.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Are they giving you something else?

Speaker 6 (35:24):
Let's find out. They have to be.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
I'm telling you, they have to be because this is
not normal.

Speaker 15 (35:29):
I am feeling very gaslit as a black woman in
the Kool-Aid game right now.

Speaker 12 (35:33):
I do not appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Hold on. Try that last taste.

Speaker 6 (35:36):
Blue raspberry is what Rich says. Kyle, did you taste
it yet?

Speaker 2 (35:37):
That's what I said.

Speaker 6 (35:39):
Okay, what is it, Dylan? Peyton, did you taste it?

Speaker 1 (35:44):
That's a margarita.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Peyton knows her margaritas.

Speaker 6 (35:48):
Nick is holding up a can. I don't know what
that is. What is that?

Speaker 9 (35:52):
Can we take our blindfold off?

Speaker 1 (35:53):
That was the last one, right? Was it blue? Okay,
so it is a margarita.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Peyton, I am so sorry. It's very impressive.

Speaker 10 (36:02):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (36:04):
It is a sip-tailed strawberry margarita. I knew I wasn't going.

Speaker 10 (36:08):
To make it. Nailed it.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
I'm like, what?

Speaker 10 (36:11):
Peyton wins.

Speaker 11 (36:11):
I mean, she got every one.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
Hello. Hi, John Jane Rich. You're on the air.

Speaker 14 (36:15):
Hello.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Hey, as a former chef, I wanted to tell you
that most of what we think we taste, we smell. Yes. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (36:23):
That makes sense. My nose was covered.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
That's a great point, man. Thank you. Was the last
one blue raspberry, by the way?

Speaker 17 (36:29):
No, it was red.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
The last one was cherry. Cherry, oh.

Speaker 15 (36:31):
I would really like some real Kool-Aid.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
I want to hear you guys.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
To wash down this disgusting.

Speaker 7 (36:37):
Do you have any more in front of you? Can
you sing with Kool-Aid in your mouth? Can you sing
with Kool-Aid in your mouth?

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Can I sing?

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Yeah, let's see.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Like what kind of song?

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Like do a SZA song.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Whoa.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Or do No Air by Jordan Sparks.

Speaker 9 (36:47):
No, don't do it.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
I'm going to choke. I don't think we should do that.
Don't do it.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
And that concludes Food News with Judd J.

Speaker 10 (36:59):
And Rich.

Speaker 12 (37:00):
Hey, muster on the beat, ho.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
I was telling you that I read this article about
Kim Kardashian and the.

Speaker 6 (37:07):
Talent she has.

Speaker 9 (37:08):
Yes, she can tell if you have a cavity just
by smelling your breath.

Speaker 6 (37:12):
That's such a gross talent.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
I know, I know.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
And I wonder how she does, if we ever get
to interview her, and then we quote, that's the only
thing we ask her.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Totally.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
We gotta know we gotta ask you something we gotta
ask you something go ahead i don't want to talk
about kanye i don't want to talk about no.

Speaker 9 (37:27):
No no no we don't want to talk about that
either no.

Speaker 7 (37:28):
No we want to talk is it true that apparently
that's her talent and i have a list of celebrities
and their hidden talents right so maybe we can think
about our hidden talent like we know we've seen kyle
but you know before she can throw a set of
keys across the room with her team.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
It's true Neil Patrick Harris.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
Doogie Howser.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
He was also in How Did I Met Your Mother?

Speaker 10 (37:47):
You know that guy?

Speaker 6 (37:48):
He apparently is a trained magician.

Speaker 17 (37:51):
Oh, really?

Speaker 1 (37:52):
I could see that.

Speaker 9 (37:53):
He'd be really good at the presentation.

Speaker 7 (37:54):
Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad. He apparently can tell a
dog's gender just by petting it. He's a good talent. Well,
on the underside, maybe. Do you know what Kendall Jenner does?
What her hidden talent is?

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Cutting cucumbers wrong?

Speaker 6 (38:09):
She can do bird noises.

Speaker 7 (38:11):
Really?

Speaker 2 (38:12):
That's cool.

Speaker 6 (38:13):
Jessie J?

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Jessie J.

Speaker 12 (38:15):
It's all about the money, money.

Speaker 6 (38:17):
She can sing with her mouth closed.

Speaker 7 (38:20):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
I've tried that before. Like here, I'll try it.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
You ain't no Jessie J.

Speaker 9 (38:27):
More of a hum, right?

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Katie Perry apparently can puff out her neck like a frog.

Speaker 12 (38:33):
I've actually seen her do that on TV. It's kind
of wild.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
It's wild, right?

Speaker 10 (38:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
You guys know what Hailey Bieber's hidden talent is?

Speaker 8 (38:40):
What?

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Uh-uh. She can open beer bottles with her teeth.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
Oh, why would she do that?

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Ouch.

Speaker 9 (38:45):
I feel like you'd crack a tooth for sure, right?

Speaker 1 (38:47):
I mean, Taylor Bieber, she has enough money to get
it fixed if she wanted to.

Speaker 7 (38:51):
Keira Knightley, she can play music on her teeth by
tapping them with her fingers. Piers Brosnan, who was James Bond,
he's a fire eater. He was a trained street performer
before he made it big.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Oh, now that's cool.

Speaker 6 (39:03):
Do you guys know what Justin Bieber's hidden talent is?

Speaker 13 (39:05):
No.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Playing basketball.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
No.

Speaker 6 (39:07):
He can solve a Rubik's Cube in under two minutes.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
Oh, that's impressive.

Speaker 9 (39:10):
I feel like I've seen that online.

Speaker 7 (39:12):
Angelina Jolie is a skilled knife thrower. And Mark Ruffalo,
who is the Hulk, he can ride a unicycle. Now,
that'd be cool to see the Hulk doing. There's something
about someone who rides a unicycle that no matter how
many times you see it, it's always amazing to me.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
It always is. It's so true.

Speaker 12 (39:30):
They're a unicycle rider. They can't be jerks. They just
can't be.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
When I was in Hawaii last month, I saw a
guy riding an electric unicycle.

Speaker 13 (39:38):
What?

Speaker 10 (39:38):
Oh, really? I know.

Speaker 7 (39:39):
It was so weird. Such a weird thing. Anyway, if
you've got a hidden talent, we want to know. Call
us at 877-937-1047 and you might have to demonstrate said
hidden talent. It's John Dean Ridge.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Are you following us on Insta at John Jay and Rich?

Speaker 6 (39:56):
Hit us up and get caught up in the lore
of the doom scroll.

Speaker 7 (39:59):
You know, today is an interesting day and I normally
wouldn't bring it up except there's a big debate going on.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
Do you know what today is?

Speaker 1 (40:05):
What's today? Do you know what today is?

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Hey, this drink is delicious.

Speaker 13 (40:09):
Anybody up for iced tea?

Speaker 2 (40:10):
I'm going to make some tea.

Speaker 11 (40:12):
Today is National Iced Tea Day.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
Will you make me some iced tea?

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Sweetened or unsweetened.

Speaker 12 (40:17):
Lemon or no lemon.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Iced tea.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
Iced tea would be great. Well, it's a sweet or
maybe even an unsweetened celebration. Iced tea.

Speaker 8 (40:24):
Iced tea.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Drinking iced tea.

Speaker 10 (40:26):
Y'all ready?

Speaker 2 (40:26):
It's tea time.

Speaker 7 (40:27):
Anyway, it's National Iced Tea Day today. And I bring
this up because the debate is how you say it. Yeah,
I've heard it two different ways on this clip. There's
actually a right way to say it. See, I don't
know what it is. Well, what do you think it is?

Speaker 12 (40:38):
Well, it sounds like iced as in the past tense
of ice.

Speaker 7 (40:42):
Is the proper way. Yeah, I guess Americans are lazy.
It's iced with a D, T. Iced tea. But people
say iced tea.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
I say iced tea.

Speaker 12 (40:53):
Yeah, I think iced tea sounds fine.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
So there you go.

Speaker 6 (40:57):
That's answered and solved.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
If you go to Webster's Dictionary, it accepts both.

Speaker 7 (41:01):
Little side note. Oh, we were talking about hidden talents before.
Mary Kay, what's your hidden talent?

Speaker 1 (41:05):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
Good morning, guys.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Good morning.

Speaker 4 (41:09):
My talent is that I can do a man voice.

Speaker 10 (41:13):
Oh, really?

Speaker 4 (41:14):
Yeah. I can throw my voice deep enough to sound
like a man.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Let's hear it.

Speaker 7 (41:21):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (41:22):
Good morning, John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Totally.

Speaker 9 (41:25):
I did not see that coming, Mary Kay.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Wow. Holy smoke. That sounds like Kyle after 4. No way.
4 p.m.

Speaker 10 (41:34):
Every day. Wow.

Speaker 12 (41:35):
And you did not hand the phone to somebody next
to you right there? That is all you.

Speaker 4 (41:38):
It is all me.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (41:41):
I don't even know where this comes from.

Speaker 6 (41:45):
Can you talk like that for a while or just
say certain phrases?

Speaker 12 (41:48):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
No, I can have a full-on conversation.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
Okay, Mary, we're going to talk to Marty.

Speaker 6 (41:56):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
We'll call him Marty.

Speaker 6 (41:58):
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
Let's hear you. I absolutely love your show.

Speaker 7 (42:03):
I listen to it every day.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Wow, that's wild.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
That is a transition.

Speaker 12 (42:08):
That'd be great. I don't know what you could use
that for, like to your advantage, like customer service or anything,
but you really should. I'm going to have you talk
to my husband.

Speaker 4 (42:19):
I've pranked everybody I know, and everyone falls for it.

Speaker 6 (42:23):
Okay, I'm going to try something, Mary Kay.

Speaker 7 (42:26):
I want you to have a conversation as Mary Kay
with Marty back and forth, and we're just going to listen.

Speaker 4 (42:32):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (42:35):
Good morning, Marty. Good morning, Mary Kay. How are you today?
I'm wonderful.

Speaker 8 (42:39):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (42:40):
I'm great. I'm ready for the weekend.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 12 (42:46):
You have to be our best friend forever now.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
I knew this in my life so bad.

Speaker 12 (42:52):
And I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (42:54):
Anytime you guys need anybody to prank somebody, please give
me a call.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
I love it.

Speaker 12 (43:01):
Yeah, I mean, there's got to be a reason to
use that. I don't really see why.

Speaker 7 (43:07):
The only reason would be, like, on a video. Because
if we need to prank somebody, we have a guy
here and we have a girl here.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Right.

Speaker 7 (43:15):
On a video, like if you did that whole little thing,
like you do a duet as the guy and as
the girl, you're singing a song, you know, you can
do it that way.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
We need to get you in here and we'll work
it out. I would love that. Thanks for calling in
and thank you for listening.

Speaker 6 (43:28):
And that's a beautiful talent. And thank you, Marty. You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
All right, Nick.

Speaker 6 (43:42):
Nick's the host of this game. Katrina, good morning.

Speaker 17 (43:44):
Good morning.

Speaker 6 (43:46):
Katrina, you're playing for some Teddy Swims tickets.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
You guys were playing Noise Machine today. I like the theme,
my games. We've got Teddy Swims tickets. So the theme
is things that swim.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
Things that swim, things in water, okay? We're going to
start things off with John Jay.

Speaker 10 (44:03):
Oh, my.

Speaker 14 (44:08):
God.

Speaker 7 (44:12):
I want to say that sounds to me like Teddy Swims. No,
that must be a dolphin or a whale or a
seal or a walrus.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
Walrus. You're going to go with walrus?

Speaker 3 (44:22):
Walrus.

Speaker 8 (44:22):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
I'm sorry, John Jay. That's incorrect. Very close. It is
something that likes to swim. It's a sea turtle.

Speaker 6 (44:29):
Don't be an idiot.

Speaker 9 (44:30):
Who knew that's the sound they make?

Speaker 1 (44:31):
That's a very distinct noise.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
You know it now. Okay. Moving on. Rich Berra.

Speaker 12 (44:42):
Well, I mean, that sounds like a dinosaur. And you
would put a dinosaur on there.

Speaker 10 (44:46):
Okay.

Speaker 12 (44:47):
But maybe that is one of those pygmy hippos. Cute
little pygmy hippo.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
Pygmy hippo.

Speaker 8 (44:52):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
That's also a good guess. It's wrong. Of course, guys,
it's an alligator.

Speaker 6 (44:57):
Don't be an idiot.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
I would have guessed hippo too, Rich.

Speaker 6 (45:00):
I'd be so scared if I heard that noise.

Speaker 12 (45:04):
Don't go around that lake.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
The alligator at the Phoenix Zoo, the first time I
took my daughter there and she was like two and
it came out of the water.

Speaker 10 (45:11):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
And made that noise. And she will not. She's now six.

Speaker 7 (45:15):
How lucky you got to see that because my entire
life going to the zoo, the alligator is always just chilling.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
It is terrifying. Yeah. Like the deck shook. Yeah, it
was crazy. Anyway, we'll move on now. Nobody on the
board just yet. Peyton.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
That is 100% an otter. An otter?

Speaker 2 (45:41):
Yes. Oh, you should guess something otter than that.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
A sea otter.

Speaker 5 (45:48):
Katrina, can I buzz in?

Speaker 2 (45:49):
Go ahead, Katrina.

Speaker 10 (45:51):
Sea lion?

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Sea lion. That's another good guess. It is wrong as well.
It's a polar bear cub.

Speaker 1 (45:57):
Polar bear cub.

Speaker 15 (45:58):
See, and me and Kyle, we just heard the sea
lion orchestra at the Wildlife World do, so I.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
Knew it wasn't a sea lion.

Speaker 14 (46:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
They're loud.

Speaker 10 (46:05):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Polar bears eat sea lions.

Speaker 10 (46:08):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Anyway.

Speaker 10 (46:10):
Moving on. Kyle.

Speaker 1 (46:13):
Dude, you got the best barrels ever, dude.

Speaker 7 (46:15):
Just like you pull in and you just get spit
right out of them.

Speaker 2 (46:19):
You just drop in and just smack the lip.

Speaker 10 (46:23):
Drop down.

Speaker 9 (46:25):
I don't know who that is, but people swim.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
Yeah, people. It's a person. You know what? People do swim.
People swim. I was looking for something a little more specific.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
Can we steal?

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Go ahead.

Speaker 17 (46:35):
Katrina, can I try?

Speaker 2 (46:36):
Katrina, go.

Speaker 6 (46:36):
Surfer?

Speaker 2 (46:38):
Surfer is correct.

Speaker 11 (46:39):
All right.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
Surfing USA.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
All people are surfers, but not all surfers are people.

Speaker 9 (46:45):
It's the other way around.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
All right, Katrina, it's your turn. I am the protector
of the deep.

Speaker 17 (46:58):
I am Aquaman.

Speaker 14 (47:01):
Is that Aquaman?

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Aquaman is correct. Katrina on the board. She's got two points.
Heading out of round one, a commanding lead as we
go into round two, John Jay. well since you've been
playing clips of interesting animals i almost want to guess
that it's the duck-billed platypus i'm gonna go with a

(47:26):
penguin penguin you know what that's a good guess this
this animal eats penguins uh we're looking at go ahead
katrina is it a seagull It's not a seagull, I'm sorry.
We are looking for dolphin. Dolphins eat penguins?

Speaker 15 (47:40):
Dolphins are actually really mean creatures.

Speaker 12 (47:44):
They are savage.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
I saw this video. They are delicious.

Speaker 7 (47:47):
These people were watching the killer whales. There was a
whole bunch of killer whales and they were on a
boat and all these killer whales are swimming.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
It was beautiful.

Speaker 7 (47:53):
Like 10 of them was beautiful. And then they pop
up and they just rip apart a dolphin.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Oh, no.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
The water gets all red.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Oh, geez. Oh, it's a delicacy in some countries. As
we move on. Rich. Got it.

Speaker 10 (48:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (48:21):
It's a Kraken. It's a Kraken?

Speaker 7 (48:22):
I think it's Waddle Waddle from Phantom Menace.

Speaker 12 (48:27):
Is it a Kraken or something from Star Wars?

Speaker 2 (48:30):
Neither of those, you guys. We are looking for a
sea lion if you want to be politically correct. It's
a California sea lion.

Speaker 10 (48:36):
Don't be an idiot. All right.

Speaker 2 (48:38):
Sorry. Only Katrina on the board thus far in this.

Speaker 6 (48:41):
Game, you guys.

Speaker 2 (48:42):
We move on now to Peyton.

Speaker 12 (48:49):
That's scary as hell.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
That is a walrus. That animal.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Say it again, please.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
I have a really hard time saying it. I don't
want to.

Speaker 12 (48:57):
A walrus.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
That was good. A walrus.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
That's my answer.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
I'm tempted to give it to you just so I
can hear walrus again.

Speaker 17 (49:07):
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (49:08):
Of course, that was the Loch Ness Monster.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
Nessie.

Speaker 10 (49:11):
What?

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Okay. That's fine.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
I'll take the L. Didn't get that one. Goose egg
for Peyton in this game. Kyle.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Up where they walk, up where they run, up.

Speaker 10 (49:24):
Where they stay all day in the sun.

Speaker 9 (49:28):
Wandering free, wish I could be part of that world.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
That's Ariel.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
Yeah, and what is Ariel?

Speaker 1 (49:38):
She's a mermaid.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 12 (49:41):
Good job, Kyle.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
Katrina, you've already won the game, but if you can
get this one, you get bonus points and you can
ridicule everybody else in the studio. All right, let's do it.

Speaker 17 (49:57):
That would be Teddy Swims.

Speaker 11 (49:59):
Theodore does, in fact, swim.

Speaker 10 (50:05):
Yay! Yay!

Speaker 2 (50:06):
Congratulations.

Speaker 7 (50:07):
You get to go see Teddy Swims, November 16th.

Speaker 13 (50:09):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
Woke up with his new thing. John Jay and Rich
are live on the Free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 7 (50:17):
You guys know how in movies now. The trailers are
using lots of songs from the 90s. Songs from the
90s are making a big comeback, right? And I feel
that's just kind of what happens in music. Big songs
come back.

Speaker 2 (50:29):
So guess what?

Speaker 7 (50:32):
These are the top 10 best songs.

Speaker 6 (50:36):
From the 90s that still hold up today.

Speaker 12 (50:39):
Oh, good.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (50:40):
Do not guess.

Speaker 12 (50:41):
Do not guess.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
Do not guess.

Speaker 6 (50:43):
Because if you do, you're going to mess up the order, right?
Because I have the top ten. But go ahead. Throw
a guess. What if you pick number one?

Speaker 2 (50:48):
You're going to ruin the whole thing. I would say
No Scrubs, TLC.

Speaker 10 (50:52):
Not in the top ten.

Speaker 9 (51:02):
It's a good song, though.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
But does it hold up today?

Speaker 12 (51:05):
I think so.

Speaker 6 (51:05):
Do people use the word scrubs today in that context? No,
they do not.

Speaker 9 (51:09):
Is it like the lyrics holding up? Or if you
listen to the song, it's a good song still?

Speaker 12 (51:14):
Yeah, I mean, you can still pump that jam. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
I've called a couple people scrubs.

Speaker 6 (51:16):
It just says, this is a list of songs that
hold up today.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Okay, so tell us.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
I want to know.

Speaker 7 (51:22):
I want to know.

Speaker 6 (51:22):
Number 10, All the Small Things, Blink-182.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 9 (51:32):
That's literally in the Travis Barker Louder Than Fear documentary. And, like,
you hear it when that part comes on in the documentary.
You just hear it, and you're like, oh, yeah, totally.
It could be released today and still be popular. Oh,
my gosh.

Speaker 6 (51:53):
Number nine, Friends in Low Places, Garth Brooks.

Speaker 12 (51:58):
Yeah, that's a country bar favorite.

Speaker 10 (52:01):
It's a great song.

Speaker 6 (52:16):
Santeria by Sublime.

Speaker 12 (52:18):
Sublime, I feel like that whole album... Still gets played
on the radio as if it's new. People love it.

Speaker 1 (52:24):
That's one where it's like, I don't like no crystal ball.

Speaker 10 (52:26):
I don't practice Santeria.

Speaker 8 (52:29):
I ain't got no crystal ball.

Speaker 6 (52:32):
Gin and juice, sweet dog.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
That's good.

Speaker 15 (52:36):
Oh, that's going to be so epic, too, at the
IR Radio Music Festival.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
Him performing gin and juice.

Speaker 12 (52:40):
You know that's.

Speaker 10 (52:41):
Going to be great.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (52:44):
Lay back. With my mind on my money and my
money on my money.

Speaker 7 (52:54):
This next one is a great song, but it's so random.
I wonder why it still holds up today, but it's
Alan Jackson and Chattahoochee.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
Guns N' Roses, November Rain.

Speaker 10 (53:06):
Come on.

Speaker 12 (53:06):
Guns N' Roses is classic.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
It's hard to hold a candle In the cold, don't
feel my rage.

Speaker 7 (53:26):
This next song, number four from the 90s, that still
holds up today, I don't know it. Rage Against the Machine,
Killing in the Name.

Speaker 10 (53:34):
Killing in the name of.

Speaker 12 (53:37):
The deep black, that makes me angry.

Speaker 6 (53:39):
Number three, Radiohead, Creep.

Speaker 12 (53:42):
Awesome song.

Speaker 17 (53:43):
But I'm a creep.

Speaker 7 (53:52):
Number two song that still holds up today. I would
put this at number one.

Speaker 12 (54:01):
Backstreet Boys, I want it that way.

Speaker 3 (54:02):
No, no. It smells like some spirit of ours.

Speaker 10 (54:07):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
Number one song from the 90s that still holds up today.
Any guesses?

Speaker 12 (54:35):
From the 90s, it still holds up today.

Speaker 9 (54:37):
Now he wants us to guess.

Speaker 2 (54:38):
Isn't it ironic?

Speaker 14 (54:39):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
Is it a male or female?

Speaker 6 (54:49):
It's sung by a.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Female, written by a.

Speaker 10 (55:01):
Male.

Speaker 7 (55:04):
The writer of the song is, I believe, one of Rich's,
if not Rich's, favorite musician of all time.

Speaker 12 (55:10):
Prince.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
Yes.

Speaker 12 (55:11):
Oh, is it Nothing Compares To You?

Speaker 6 (55:13):
Nothing Compares To You by Sinead O'Connor.

Speaker 12 (55:14):
Wow, that's an odd choice for number one.

Speaker 7 (55:16):
Number one song from the 90s that still holds up
to today.

Speaker 10 (55:20):
Guess what he told me?

Speaker 1 (55:23):
Guess what he told me?

Speaker 10 (55:23):
He said, girl, you better try to have fun no
matter what you do. But he's a fool because no.

Speaker 12 (55:41):
It's a pretty great version. I think Prince was jealous
that her version did so well. His did not.

Speaker 9 (55:46):
Don't be jelly, Prince.

Speaker 12 (55:47):
Don't be jelly.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (56:24):
Peyton brought up something kind of silly but not kind
of silly because I find it interesting.

Speaker 6 (56:29):
And I'll tell you why in a second.

Speaker 10 (56:30):
Okay.

Speaker 15 (56:31):
I think it's like totally random, but I was just
like thinking, I was like, why is it that when
you brush your teeth in the shower, it feels different?
Like it suds up differently than when you're not in
the shower and you brush your teeth like.

Speaker 1 (56:42):
Over the sink. Is that what I'm talking about? That
is actually... It's so valid.

Speaker 2 (56:47):
Yeah, because it does.

Speaker 9 (56:48):
And I don't know, maybe there's some weird chemical reaction
with the steam.

Speaker 1 (56:51):
Right, like maybe it's humans and you're getting.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
A little bit more.

Speaker 12 (56:54):
Is it, yeah, because the water's warmer?

Speaker 2 (56:56):
Could that be it? Yeah.

Speaker 15 (56:58):
I don't know, but all I know, and I'm not
a morning shower person, and so I don't brush my
teeth in the shower when I wake up in the morning.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
I feel like I'm going to have to be a
morning shower person.

Speaker 6 (57:06):
Well, did something just happen?

Speaker 2 (57:07):
Did you just brush your teeth in the shower or
you just had an observation?

Speaker 15 (57:10):
Well, like over the weekend, we had basketball games, so
I would shower in the morning.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 15 (57:14):
And I would brush my teeth in the shower because
I'm trying to kill some time.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
And I was like, wait a minute.

Speaker 15 (57:18):
This is a really enjoyable experience right now.

Speaker 6 (57:21):
So when you brush your, I've never brushed my teeth
in the shower.

Speaker 10 (57:23):
Never?

Speaker 2 (57:24):
Never.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
You've got to do it at least one time.

Speaker 7 (57:26):
Well, so here's why I'm just thinking of the stress
right now.

Speaker 2 (57:29):
Then when you're done, you've got to hold your toothbrush.
Just put it by your shampoo. But then when you
get out of the shower, take it out?

Speaker 14 (57:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (57:35):
I would forget.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
I would forget.

Speaker 1 (57:37):
When you remember in the morning, you go get your toothbrush.

Speaker 6 (57:40):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
But I shower out in the backyard every day. But like,
I can't.

Speaker 6 (57:45):
I've never showered or never brushed my teeth in the shower.
But my son, check this out. This is weird.

Speaker 7 (57:49):
My son, Kemp, he showers or I'm sorry, he brushes
his teeth in our kitchen sink.

Speaker 2 (57:55):
Isn't that weird? I've done that before.

Speaker 14 (57:58):
What?

Speaker 2 (57:58):
Like if I.

Speaker 9 (58:00):
I'm like running out of time and I have to
go like start making the dogs food.

Speaker 1 (58:03):
And I'm like, okay.

Speaker 9 (58:04):
Or if like, I got to tell the kids something,
I'll be brushing my teeth as I'm walking out there.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
But all the time.

Speaker 6 (58:09):
Every day.

Speaker 7 (58:09):
And here's why I asked him that too. I was like, what, why?
And he goes, because for years. He would wake up
before anybody else and he would go train for basketball.
So he would walk downstairs or he would walk to
the living room, turn off the alarm. He'd have the
toothbrush in his mouth, turn off the alarm, and then
he'd brush his teeth right there.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
So he did it.

Speaker 7 (58:26):
So long that now he wakes up and he walks
into the kitchen and brushes his teeth.

Speaker 10 (58:32):
Fascinating.

Speaker 2 (58:32):
Nobody knew he brushed his teeth in a kitchen sink.
I don't know if that's good or not.

Speaker 1 (58:37):
I immediately said, ew.

Speaker 15 (58:38):
But then again, I'm like, there's so much stuff that
goes in your sink anyway. And also, I'm one of the, like,
do you guys ever brush your teeth and then, like,
don't stand in the bathroom?

Speaker 1 (58:45):
You just, like, walk around?

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 12 (58:46):
Yeah, because I'm so impatient that I can't stand it.
I just can't stand it in one place.

Speaker 9 (58:51):
If I have to, I will.

Speaker 2 (58:52):
I don't like to do that.

Speaker 1 (58:53):
Oh, I just am always wondering.

Speaker 12 (58:54):
I walk around and shave. Well, because it's an electric razor,
so you can kind of feel where you're going. You
don't need to see it until you come back around
to the final sweep.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
So you just have like little hair flecks all around
your house?

Speaker 12 (59:06):
No, the razor sucks it up when it's an electric razor.

Speaker 7 (59:10):
Over the weekend, you know, I was in Flagstaff and
we stayed at this place that had access to this
because my son wanted to golf. And when you golf,
you know, they have like the men's room. It's like
a clubhouse for men and they always overdo it. Like
there's a men's restaurant in there and stuff like that, right? Right.
And so I went in to go to the bathroom
and It's so funny how it's like there's free toothbrushes

(59:31):
in there.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
And I was like, what's this? And I forgot my toothbrush.
So it's a toothbrush that comes in a little bag.
You rip it open and you get it wet and
there's already toothpaste on the toothbrush.

Speaker 7 (59:42):
Amazing.

Speaker 2 (59:42):
How amazing is that? Huh?

Speaker 9 (59:44):
How genius is that?

Speaker 2 (59:44):
It's so genius.

Speaker 6 (59:45):
I'm like, why do you even have a toothbrush?

Speaker 2 (59:46):
Why not have these?

Speaker 7 (59:47):
So I took a couple home and I can't wait
for the next time I travel where I forget my
toothbrush on purpose.

Speaker 10 (59:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (59:53):
And then they have eye drops.

Speaker 12 (59:54):
Can you buy those with the toothpaste?

Speaker 3 (59:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
I thought about that. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (59:56):
Then they got eye drops too.

Speaker 7 (59:57):
And I just think that's so cool that there's a
place that has free eye drops and free toothbrushes.

Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:00:04):
I was like, that is next level. It makes me
want to join that club.

Speaker 12 (01:00:07):
Yeah, no kidding. Because you would go on a vacation
just because you know you get the free supplies at
the clubhouse.

Speaker 6 (01:00:13):
You would look forward to that. I forget my toothbrush
all the time.

Speaker 7 (01:00:17):
And then when I go on vacation, I like to
leave my toothbrush.

Speaker 6 (01:00:19):
I like to throw it away. I feel like I
don't want travel germs.

Speaker 12 (01:00:23):
I feel like I can't have the same toothbrush. First
of all, because at home I have the Sonicare that
I use.

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:00:31):
So the trap, once it's sitting out in the bathroom
area in a cup or whatever, it's no good anymore.
I just toss it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Yeah, I do. I'm with you.

Speaker 12 (01:00:40):
This place you went is the same place with the
amazing showers.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:00:44):
What's so amazing about the shower? It's called Pine Canyon.
It's in Flagstaff.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:00:47):
The shower is just a good, powerful showers. And there's
a lot of space in the shower. Like there's a
lot of room.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
For activities.

Speaker 7 (01:00:53):
I don't know. And then they have a space where
you step out of the shower. You have this room dry.

Speaker 12 (01:00:59):
It's a bathroom.

Speaker 7 (01:01:02):
No, but it's in the bathroom. Then you walk out
and then there's a big bathroom. And then there's a
steam room. And there's a hot tub. And there's free
eye drops. Free eye drops. Free Alka-Seltzer.

Speaker 6 (01:01:11):
Free alcohol free aspirin free.

Speaker 9 (01:01:13):
Advil i think they've got q-tips as well.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
They got q-tips there and then they have here's the
part that when you're going to brush.

Speaker 12 (01:01:19):
Your teeth spreading if giles heard about the few.

Speaker 7 (01:01:21):
When you brush your teeth they have all these hair
products and underarm deodorant and i don't know which which
to use i use them all and then they have.

Speaker 9 (01:01:28):
Uh they have a hairspray in your armpits no.

Speaker 7 (01:01:30):
I put a hairspray on my head okay different there's
There's all these different hair things like there's a gel
and there's a cream.

Speaker 6 (01:01:37):
There's something else. And there's brushes there. They're like you
have to open up the brush.

Speaker 7 (01:01:41):
And so I was brushing my hair that I comb
my hair. And then I put they have all these
different colognes. I try to put on different colognes like
a little mix because I never wear cologne. But I
thought there must be reason this cologne is here. This
must be real special cologne.

Speaker 6 (01:01:55):
Like, I want to use it all.

Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
It was great.

Speaker 7 (01:01:56):
And then I casually put extra eye drops in my
pocket and thought I was going to get in trouble.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
Hey, sir.

Speaker 12 (01:02:01):
What's in your pocket?

Speaker 10 (01:02:03):
Oh, my God, sir. I thought you were free.

Speaker 12 (01:02:05):
Those eye drops are complimentary, but only for people in
the shower.

Speaker 6 (01:02:10):
Shout out to Pine Canyon. Sounds wonderful. Yeah, it's beautiful.
Beautiful place.

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
Beautiful.

Speaker 10 (01:02:15):
Good morning. Wake up every morning.

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Start your day with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 7 (01:02:19):
Grew up in Mexico. I have lots and lots of
Mexican cousins. Lots. This morning, I woke up from a
text from my one Mexican cousin that lives in LA
next to my sister. And she sent a picture of another,
of a woman with my niece and nephew. And the woman,
it's like my niece and nephew standing next to this woman.

(01:02:39):
And the woman looks like a beat up version of
my sister, but I'm pretty sure it's not my sister.
And I was like, is this my sister? I haven't
seen my sister. While my sister moved to North Carolina,
she's Runs Mr. Beast's company. I don't know if I've
talked about that on there or not, but so, and
I thought the Mr. Beast job is really doing a
toll on my sister. And I was like, this is
like this woman.

Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
Like a beat up for you.

Speaker 7 (01:03:02):
So I said this to my sister and I go,
just in case I go, Hey, who is this? She's like,
that's your cousin. And she tells me which cousin it is.
My cousin's name is America, right? Which I know, I
know my cousin America. I haven't seen her in a
long time. I don't go to a lot of the
family reunions.

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
Yeah. You're proud of that. I'm not proud of it.

Speaker 6 (01:03:20):
I just don't, I'm not, I'm not, that's not true.
I'm not proud of it.

Speaker 7 (01:03:22):
It was here I would go. I don't want to
go anywhere to go to the family reunion. But my
sister was always at the family reunions, always part of everything.
And so I said to my sister, I go, that
looks like a beat up version of you. And she's like,
she takes me back.

Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
I'm sure. Like, like it was an insult.

Speaker 12 (01:03:38):
Or maybe she's agreeing with you.

Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
I'm sure.

Speaker 9 (01:03:40):
You can't read Tony text.

Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
I'm sure.

Speaker 7 (01:03:43):
This is so funny because it's like, you guys know
what my sister looks like?

Speaker 6 (01:03:50):
Does this look like a beat up version of my sister?

Speaker 10 (01:03:52):
Oh, I could see.

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:03:54):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
Just like tired.

Speaker 12 (01:03:55):
Definitely she looks like family for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
That's wild though.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Genetics are crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
It looks like someone put a beat up filter on
my sister.

Speaker 9 (01:04:05):
I mean, that's not very nice.

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
I don't want to say that.

Speaker 6 (01:04:08):
I'm not going to post it because I don't want
to go back to her because she's really nice.

Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:04:11):
But anyway, please don't send this to her. I don't
want to start a whole family problem, which may be
a good thing.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Then I don't get invited to the family reunion. Oh,
my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I want to go over
something I saw on Reddit, okay?

Speaker 7 (01:04:24):
Which is, if there was ever anything in the world
of social media and the internet, it's this that's targeted
towards our radio show. Someone on Reddit said, what sayings
did you say incorrectly for decades without anyone noticing? Like
for here on this show, we've said, you know, Lord
and behold.

Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
Love it. Right.

Speaker 7 (01:04:45):
I've been saying documentary, uh, irregardless, but irregardless has been
a big debate because that's, some people say it is
a word. It's not a word, but these are, I've
never heard of it before. Instead of saying might as well,
a lot of people thought it was minus.

Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
Well, I've never heard anybody say minus. Well, I love that. Minus.

Speaker 6 (01:05:06):
Well, Hey, you want to go to the grocery store?
We're almost out of food.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Minus.

Speaker 7 (01:05:10):
Well, This person said, my brother thought that people that
lived beside us were our next store neighbors.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Next door neighbors.

Speaker 7 (01:05:24):
This person said, I was in my 30s when I
realized cease and assist was.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Really cease and desist.

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Oh, I don't think I knew that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
You thought it was cease and desist?

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
Don't you have like a law degree?

Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
I just don't really say that.

Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
I would think being a, what's your degree in criminology
that that would come up somewhere in school.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
I'm sure it did. It was a long time ago.

Speaker 6 (01:05:45):
Up and Adam, instead of up.

Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
And at them, they're like, who's that? Who's that? Who's at?

Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
Well, no, it's up and Adam.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:05:54):
At them.

Speaker 9 (01:05:55):
But I always thought it was Adam, like the dude.

Speaker 14 (01:05:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
No, it's like, who's Adam? Uh, some people, instead of
saying bonfire, always thought it was bomb fire. Oh, bomb fire. Well,
that's severe.

Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
Play it by year. Instead of played by ear.

Speaker 15 (01:06:11):
That's definitely one that people get mixed up.

Speaker 7 (01:06:13):
We need to play it by year. One guy thought
wheelbarrow was wheel barrels for most of his life. Another
man said holier than hell instead of holier than thou.

Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
That kind of works. Both those work.

Speaker 7 (01:06:27):
Kyle has like slipped things up on the air saying
phrases a lot.

Speaker 12 (01:06:31):
She does, but she does it with confidence. So a
lot of people don't catch it.

Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
The whole key is to say with confidence, like let's
not burn that bridge until we cross it. What's the
real phrase? Wait a minute.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
Burn the bridge? Wait, what is the real phrase? Those
are two different phrases. Okay. It's like, we're going to
cross that bridge. Oh, okay. Hey, don't burn bridges. Okay.

Speaker 14 (01:06:48):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:06:49):
Not to beat a dead horse or not, you know,
the phrase, don't beat a dead horse. Not to beat
a dead bush with horses. I'm just trying to keep
all my ducks on the same page. Not ducks in
a row. Get on the same page. You can lead
a horse to water, but you can't make him bathe
in it. Not to put all my chickens in one egg.

(01:07:11):
You know, one of my favorites is one of our
coolest songs. One of my favorite misunderstandings.

Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
What?

Speaker 12 (01:07:16):
Seven Nation Army. You know, dong, dong, dong, dong, dong, dong.
That was Jack White thinking there was a Seven Nation Army,
but it's the Salvation Army.

Speaker 5 (01:07:25):
Oh, really?

Speaker 12 (01:07:25):
He just got it wrong when he was a kid.
Then we find out the Salvation Army is like, well,
that's not nearly as cool. A Seven Nation Army sounds like,
look out.

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
That's good.

Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
Well, if you got any phrases you say wrong, we
want to hear them. We got tickets to see Madison
beer and we're going to play. Remember the time. And
we need a contestant right now. Good morning, Jen.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Jen.

Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
Hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
I wonder why that's not working. Let me try that again.
I was on mute. Jeez Louise, Jen. Come on. All right.

Speaker 6 (01:07:59):
That's all right.

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Amen.

Speaker 10 (01:08:01):
It's okay.

Speaker 7 (01:08:02):
You know, it's like the I Heart slogan is guaranteed human,
and there you go.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
We're all guaranteed humans.

Speaker 6 (01:08:07):
All right. Let's play Remember the Time.

Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:08:09):
It's all kinds of things for you, Jen.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
It's movies. It's TV.

Speaker 12 (01:08:11):
It's pop culture all mushified into one big montage. You
just got to tell me what year it all happened.
Players ready? Let's remember the time.

Speaker 10 (01:08:21):
I'm a.

Speaker 8 (01:08:23):
Savage, yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:08:25):
Classy, bougie, ratchet.

Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
Sassy, moody, nasty.

Speaker 14 (01:08:28):
Hey!

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
All is fair in love and war.

Speaker 18 (01:08:38):
Miss Daphne Bridgerton!

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
This world is not yet ready for all that you
will do.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Your time will come, Diana. And everything will be different.

Speaker 3 (01:09:00):
Right foot up, left foot slide.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Left foot up, right foot slide.

Speaker 12 (01:09:07):
Okay, couple of bonus clues for you. This was also
the year that Zoom... became a verb, and murder hornets
arrived in the USA too. Remember the murder hornets? That
was a big scare. Okay, Jen, what did you hear?
What did you recognize? What year do you think that
went down?

Speaker 2 (01:09:23):
Oh, gosh. There was quite a bit of.

Speaker 16 (01:09:31):
Those.

Speaker 17 (01:09:33):
Sorry, Jen, let's cut.

Speaker 12 (01:09:36):
Yeah, please don't cuss.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Yeah, yeah, I, yeah. Let's see.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
What is that beeping? I think the french fries are ready.
It doesn't sound like a turning signal.

Speaker 13 (01:09:46):
Oh, sorry, no, sorry, sorry, no.

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
What is it? 2003, maybe?

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
God, I am probably so off.

Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
Just a little. But what's that beeping noise? I can't
move on until I find out what that beeping noise is.

Speaker 17 (01:10:03):
It's, it's, don't touch me, a breathalyzer.

Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
A breathalyzer?

Speaker 12 (01:10:09):
Oh, and is it beeping because you should not be driving?

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
No, it's because it needs you to blow in it.

Speaker 7 (01:10:15):
Every nine minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
Okay, blow in it real quick. We'll wait and see
how it goes.

Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 17 (01:10:19):
I don't want you to hear it in the video.

Speaker 6 (01:10:21):
Yeah, just come on.

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Just blow into it. I mean, we're involved now. No
matter what, we'll give you the tickets. You are 20
years off, but go ahead.

Speaker 11 (01:10:27):
Okay, fine.

Speaker 8 (01:10:28):
Here we go.

Speaker 10 (01:10:36):
There.

Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
There.

Speaker 12 (01:10:39):
Wait.

Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
It's still beeping.

Speaker 6 (01:10:40):
Have you passed yet?

Speaker 12 (01:10:43):
It's still warming up.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
How annoying.

Speaker 10 (01:10:48):
It is very annoying.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
It's very annoying.

Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
Do you also have an ankle bracelet?

Speaker 10 (01:10:54):
No, no.

Speaker 6 (01:10:55):
That was years ago.

Speaker 10 (01:10:56):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
All right, Jen.

Speaker 7 (01:10:57):
All right, so now it's not beeping. Does that mean
it worked? The breathalyzer worked?

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
Yes, it worked.

Speaker 6 (01:11:04):
Oh, good, good.

Speaker 12 (01:11:04):
Okay, so to review, did you pick the year 2003?
Is that what you said?

Speaker 8 (01:11:09):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (01:11:10):
Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:11:11):
All right, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
John Jay, your move.

Speaker 7 (01:11:14):
I heard Savage, the Megan Thee Stallion song that was
very big during the COVID. All this stuff is all
COVID time. The question is, was it 2020 or 2021?
So did you not pass that thing?

Speaker 10 (01:11:26):
Oh my gosh, stop!

Speaker 6 (01:11:28):
Why won't it stop beeping?

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
What did you have this morning?

Speaker 14 (01:11:31):
I didn't have anything this morning.

Speaker 13 (01:11:33):
It's when it's cold, it warms up so it doesn't
take a full.

Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
Until a few minutes.

Speaker 12 (01:11:39):
It's like 100 degrees outside.

Speaker 2 (01:11:40):
How could it be cold?

Speaker 7 (01:11:41):
Wow.

Speaker 13 (01:11:42):
Because my car is.

Speaker 18 (01:11:43):
Under a carport.

Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
It's ridiculous. It's a stupid machine.

Speaker 17 (01:11:47):
And it was a stupid decision.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
So it's like, it is what it is.

Speaker 6 (01:11:50):
Okay, so when did you get the DUI?

Speaker 2 (01:11:51):
How long ago?

Speaker 11 (01:11:53):
I don't want to talk about it.

Speaker 12 (01:11:54):
It's embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
It's very aggressive. We're way past that. I mean, your
breath hasn't cleared yet.

Speaker 10 (01:12:01):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:12:02):
Don't you have to like.

Speaker 14 (01:12:03):
My breath has cleared.

Speaker 11 (01:12:04):
It would have said fail if it didn't.

Speaker 13 (01:12:07):
But it's just.

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
I would think like.

Speaker 6 (01:12:11):
You do the breathalyzer, you blow into it, and the
approval is.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Like, all right, hey, you're good to go.

Speaker 10 (01:12:15):
Congratulations.

Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
You can drive today.

Speaker 12 (01:12:17):
You're driving a Hyundai Elantra.

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
All right.

Speaker 12 (01:12:24):
Anyway, I'm going to go 2021. Okay. So Jen says 2003.
John Jay says 2021. In the most crazy-ass version of
Remember the Time We've Ever Done. Peyton, here's your chance to.

Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
Rock it.

Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
Try to win one.

Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
No, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
I'm with John Jay on it being that COVID year.
I was savage. But what I did here was the.

Speaker 15 (01:12:42):
Beyonce remix in there, which makes me think it's definitely
not 2020. You have Bridgerton, Justin Bieber, Offset Intentions, Tootsie Slide, Drake.
I'm going to say 2022 just because John Jay took 2021. Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:12:54):
Everybody's wrong.

Speaker 6 (01:12:58):
It's 2020?

Speaker 11 (01:12:59):
Really?

Speaker 12 (01:12:59):
It's 2020.

Speaker 10 (01:13:01):
Wow.

Speaker 12 (01:13:02):
You know, one of the big clues was going to
be the year of COVID, but I figured that would
give it way too far away.

Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Well, Jen, are you back on mute?

Speaker 10 (01:13:10):
Yes.

Speaker 12 (01:13:10):
I mean, Jen, you do win the award for being
the furthest off anybody's ever been on Remember the Time,
which I think is an award in itself.

Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
Still, Jen, congratulations.

Speaker 6 (01:13:20):
You win. You're going to go see Madison Beer.

Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:13:24):
Don't drink and beer. Don't drink beer.

Speaker 8 (01:13:27):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 6 (01:13:29):
What was your drink of choice when you got pulled
over and got the DUI, and now you.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Have a breathalyzer?

Speaker 13 (01:13:34):
That's not important.

Speaker 12 (01:13:37):
She does not want to answer our question.

Speaker 6 (01:13:39):
All right, well, hold on the line, Jen.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
We're going to set you up. If you're just tuning in,
that was Jen.

Speaker 7 (01:13:43):
She was a contestant from over the time, and there
was a beeping and a noise in the background, and
I couldn't get past it. And I'm glad I asked
because I've never experienced that before. It was good to hear.
But she's doing the right thing, right?

Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:13:54):
When you get a breathalyzer like that, does anyone know?
Does that mean that you went to court, you did whatever,
but you have to drive to work so they put
that on?

Speaker 2 (01:14:03):
Does anyone know?

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
I have no idea.

Speaker 15 (01:14:05):
I'm sure it's something that, I know it like plugs
into your car and your car like won't start.

Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
If you don't pass it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
But I was just curious.

Speaker 1 (01:14:12):
Yeah, it probably is court mandated.

Speaker 12 (01:14:14):
But she said hers is every nine minutes that she's
in the car.

Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
I know, that's bizarre.

Speaker 10 (01:14:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:14:19):
You would think it would be just every time you
start your car, but I mean, you got to be
locked in for stuff like that.

Speaker 7 (01:14:25):
But what I'm saying is, the judge, does the judge go,
this is a good person that has a busy life
and needs to drive, so we're going to do this?
Or does the judge say, you need to get a
ride everywhere you go? Or does the judge say, you
go live in tent city for a week if.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
They still, I don't even know if they still have that.

Speaker 12 (01:14:40):
Yeah, I don't know if that was an extreme DUI,
a super extreme DUI.

Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
That's what I want to know. I have no idea.

Speaker 7 (01:14:44):
If anybody knows, can you call 877-937-1047? Rebecca knows breathalyzer stuff. Hey, Rebecca,
what do we know?

Speaker 3 (01:14:53):
What do we need to know?

Speaker 17 (01:14:56):
So pretty much everyone in Arizona, it doesn't matter if
it's like extreme DUI or whatever. It's court mandated that
you have a breathalyzer. They don't care if you have
a car or don't have a car. I told them
my car and they made me purchase a car to
get a breathalyzer in it.

Speaker 12 (01:15:16):
Wait, they made you purchase a car to use a breathalyzer?

Speaker 17 (01:15:20):
Yeah, or it was put in one of my family members' car,
and my family member would have to use it as well.

Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 7 (01:15:28):
So they're like, even though they don't have it, they
still have to use it, even though they didn't get punished.

Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
Yep. So it happened to you.

Speaker 17 (01:15:34):
So I ended up getting my own car, a little beater.
I didn't have a license, pretty much.

Speaker 6 (01:15:43):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
Well, thank you, Rebecca. Thanks for listening.

Speaker 7 (01:15:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
Drive safe.

Speaker 7 (01:15:49):
We have another breathalyzer expert.

Speaker 6 (01:15:52):
Markay.

Speaker 2 (01:15:53):
Markay?

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
Mary Kay.

Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
Oh, Mary Kay. There was a Y missing. Now it's there.

Speaker 12 (01:15:58):
Hi, Mary Kay.

Speaker 14 (01:15:59):
Oh.

Speaker 8 (01:15:59):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (01:15:59):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 6 (01:16:00):
Did you hear that call when she was on the breathalyzer?
Did you know it was a breathalyzer?

Speaker 4 (01:16:04):
Yes, I did hear the call.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
And I was calling because I used to be a
criminal paralegal for an attorney who did criminal law, and
a lot of it was DUIs. Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
And the breathalyzer comes depending on how much you blow
over the legal limit.

Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
So when you heard her beeping, what did you know?

Speaker 7 (01:16:25):
What do you think her story is?

Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
Well, I don't want to assume, but I've seen enough
cases that when you get a breathalyzer and it beeps
that often, that frequent, that it was probably like, I
forget the exact term, like an extreme DUI. They have
like DUIs and then extreme DUIs, depending on how much

(01:16:49):
over the legal limit you blow.

Speaker 7 (01:16:50):
And that's probably the every nine minute warning or, you know.
Every nine minutes, that's weird.

Speaker 4 (01:16:56):
Yeah, I'm sure the laws have changed since I've been
in that area of practice, but yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:17:03):
What are you doing right now?

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Where are you?

Speaker 4 (01:17:04):
I'm at work.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
Are you on a landline?

Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
I am.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
It sounds so good. It's like crystal clear. I can
hear every little like. like noise from your mouth. It's perfect.
Why can't she call it? Everybody calls them landlines. Even
if you're driving, even if you're driving. Well, Mary, thanks
for listening. Mary Kay.

Speaker 4 (01:17:23):
Thank you guys. Have a great day.
