We all have people in our lives who are always late, or maybe you are that person, but scientists now say there's a reason behind it all.

Scientist say most fall into one of these categories if they're always late:

· THE OPTIMIST: They believe everything will go perfectly. No traffic, no delays, and getting ready will somehow take five minutes.

· THE FREE SPIRIT: They're disorganized, easily lost in the moment like “Oh wow, is it 2:00 already? I had no idea.”

· THE JUGGLER: They take on too many tasks at once, convinced they can squeeze in “just one more thing” before leaving. “Let me just start the laundry before I go.”

Are you one of these?

There's ways to help! Try setting alarms, build in buffer time, and always account for traffic, parking, and unexpected delays!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
So think about who's always late in your life. And
scientists worked up this whole thing about it. They say
people are late for specific reasons. Some people are optimistic.
They believe that everything is gonna go smoothly, getting ready,
getting out the door, the car, working traffic. They're always

(00:22):
late because nothing goes smoothly, nothing goes like clockwork, and
it takes you a lot more time to get from
ready to in the car or in the uber to go,
like I never calculate that. That's something I don't calculate.
It's about twelve minutes to get like, okay, I'm ready,
but then to get all your stuff gathered then get going.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yes, And for me, it's like making sure the dogs
went potty outside and like putting them back in the
house and like secure, you know that type of stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
All right, So scientists say, then there's free spirited people.
They're just abstract. They just don't really pay attention to time.
They're always asking you what time it is, and they're
shocked by it. They're blown away by what time is
it's three? On what day? It's Tuesday?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
What do you mean what day?

Speaker 1 (01:05):
People know what date it is?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Oh my gosh, my sister, I'm like every day Saturday
for you?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Like what? I so upset? How could you not know?
What kind of life are you living where you don't
know the day of the week.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Oh my kids during winter break, they didn't know what
day it was.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
It's a deal breaker for me. I can't date you
if you don't know the day of the week. Yeah,
we cannot ever be in a relationship. On air with
Ryan Seacrest, here's a game day tip. Order Pizza Hut
before the QBS shout the first Hut and if you're hungry,
the big New Yorkers got those giant foldable slices and
right now it's just ten bucks. The biggest pizza for

(01:43):
the biggest games, only a Pizza Hut
