Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to Ryan
Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest Boy Riatta one
or two point seven, it is kiss I've am good morning,
Good morning. So my coffee was at bus this morning.
(00:20):
It's kicking now. But last night what I normally do.
I told you, I put my coffee maker in my room.
Game changer. It's a drip. It's a simple drip.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
You're pretty soon it's gonna be like in your bed.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Oh clo, oh my gosh, that's it. In ten years.
That's as far as I'm going to get my coffee
before I get out of bed. So the drip is there.
I can smell the coffee at Night's great, so I
kind of get excited when I smell the coffee. Anyway,
I don't know if that's good for you. It's great.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (00:49):
I think that aroma is actually quite The aroma doesn't
have any I'm not doing like the caffeine though.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Okay, I don't know that, but I don't think so
that's what I would say. I didn't sleep, I don't know.
But but anyway, you know, when you have to fill
water up in the tank, So I didn't feel it
as I filled it half to what I normally do.
I didn't realize that I made the coffee came out
like tar this morning, and I drank it because I
(01:14):
didn't have time to remake. So I'm just warning you.
I'm feeling it right now. But I there is a
crash on the cusp. There's got to be a crash
coming out too, Jolty.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
I had issues with my coffee this morning too. It's like,
no mine.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
I just didn't have time to make my almond milk,
and so I'm drinking this.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Who has time to make almond milk? Anyway? Take almond milk.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
It takes ten minutes.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
You need a nuts bag. You need you need to
soak your nuts, and they need a nut bag.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
They need to drain them soak the nuts, and so.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
That doesn't take ten minutes. Soaking nuts doesn't take ten minutes.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
The whole thing.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
All.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
I know how to make almond milk.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
It's not hard, and I do it every five I.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Don't eat just but why don't you just how much?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
It's like one of my pleasures in.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Life, really how interesting? Just like the way I like
to garden, you like to make home.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I'm drinking coffee from this can? Are you guarded?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
No? She didn't even question that her coffee is not
taken in yet. Yeah, thank you for paying attention. I
don't garden he guarded. No, I don't guard it. Yes,
like that, Tanya. Have you ever spent time with me?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Not enough lately, tb h.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
It's the wrong question, Ryan, wrong question exactly. All right,
So your coffee is fine now? Are we good? No?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
It's gross and I don't even feel like it's working.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Well, it's clearly not. Yeah. I don't trust people who
don't drink coffee. Sist you drink it occasionally, so I
trust you.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I drink it this morning, so you can.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Trust me today. I trust you're you're on it today.
I'm gonna kiss FM. All right. How's it going this summer?
Are you enjoying it? I have to say that now
that the fourth is over, it's going to go too fast.
So we need to be pressed it and live in
it and savor it. Christmas, it's not quite that extreme yet.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Christmas balls last weekend because everything was on side.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Because it's all right good, I mean, that's fun to
like start thinking about it now, like I want to
play the Mariah song. Now you know, so at six
fifty five, if you're trying to get in shape this summer,
I'll take you about some aromas that could cut cravings. Now,
Ciciny is not trying to get in shape. You're in
great shape. You're you're changing up your workout. Taking hip
(03:30):
hop classes your following suit. I took what I take.
What I took classes to what I saw would I
took with Julie. I took SALTSA classes back in the
day with Julianne. We lasted. She was great. That's a problem.
I shouldn't have taken a class with the Dancing with
the Stars pro.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Who doesn't know you now?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Oh look at you holding the.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Wow from twenty minutes ago.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
And it wasn't Julianne. FYI plot twist. It wasn't Juliana.
It was obs Oh.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Oh yeah, it was more recent.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Anyways, is into hip hop classes. So I got tell
me why and where and when and what you got
to do something for us here for the video.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I met somebody that like she was like, oh, I
teach at Equinox and I you know, it's all types
of dance, and I was like, god, I haven't taken
a dance class in so long.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
So I went.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
I took her class and it was a hip hop
you know.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Scene that day, and I was feeling it like I
was in it and like yes, oh h doing all
the moves, hitting, And at the end she goes, you know,
we're not allowed to film in class. She's like, but
whoever wants to stay and do it one more time,
I'll let you guys post up your video, post up.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Your cameras to film yourself. I'm thinking in my head
like I'm going to film this and I'm going.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
To post it, and so I do.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
And I watched the video and I it did not
look as good as I thought it was looking it,
you know, like never does, never dies, it never.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Does, so I don't know the video will ever see
the light of day. It's the same thing like when
I do one of my exercise moves that they're like
a workout move. I think it's so good and my
form is so right. Then I see myself hunched over,
shoulders cramped up. I'm like, wait a minute, that's really
what I look like.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
That's all I could see in the video too. I
was just like picking apart my body and being like,
oh my gosh, my lords, and it's like yeah, and
it's and I don't know if it looks that bad,
but in my head, it did look that bad.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
So I commend people who don't go to that one
comment and obsessed about that one negative comment. Yeah, I
commend people who don't just look at the bad, the
negative and things to fix because I don't know why,
but I am trained to go just look at what
needs to be better with everything. Me too. I'm just
like I wish, I.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Wish my shirt wasn't so far up, and I wish
my pants would have been higher, and I.
Speaker 7 (05:49):
Was just like, I'm just pick each other apart.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
And I even like with things at work, it's like
we're always talking about what we need to do better
or get right versus what we did okay or did
you know well or had fun doing And we need
to be better at just complimenting something or somebody that
is good? Right, So where can I can you do something?
I'll play that song again, let.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
Me see it now, we got videos, you guys, the video,
let me.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
See the moves.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
No no, no, I need it live. I don't need
a video. You're right here, You're right here.
Speaker 7 (06:21):
I don't remember the name.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Oh come on, don't bring up hip hop dance class
and not expect a performance here in the studio this morning.
We're gonna right now. It was for MACA.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Digital Teams already, like we need this video, blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
We're gonna get you up before ten o'clock in the studio.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
I feel like y'all and you guys.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Can just okay and I'll post.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
It's pretty good at this hip hop dance And just
watching the video she gave us, it's kiss FM. She's
taking a hip hop class and she shot a video
and then she watched it back and decided it wasn't
synct enough to post. I think it looks awesome.
Speaker 7 (07:05):
I do. It's just you're just left.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
You do not, you do not. You just left her
in her.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Face because I can tell how hard you're con I
can tell in your face how hard you're concentrating to
remember the.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Moves and so cute. This is going to post before
seven o'clock.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Okay, it's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Okay, all right, let's post this up before seven o'clock.
You'll see. I'm proud, like I love that you went
and did that because it's fun. You look like you're
thirteen in a dance crew. You know, it's great exercise,
and frankly, it is a good skill to have. I
wish I could break out hip hop dancing when I
met parties and stuff like that. I'll go on tour
with Harry Styles or something, you know exactly. It's a
(07:46):
great thing to be able to do, to be able
to dance. I'm always in like embarrassed that I have
no bob, I bob my head. I have no moves.
You don't get out there and dance at your wedding, Tanya.
It was so terrified when you pushed me into the
circle and I was dancing, I was pushed into the circle.
I had to do a solo dance at Tanya's wedding.
(08:07):
No hip hop classes. I don't know what song was putting.
Speaker 7 (08:10):
You were amazing.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
If you think, why are you laughing at her? Because
she actually does look like she's on.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
The mark, I wasn't laughing at you.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
I just think it's okay, cute how I can tell
you're concentrating.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
But it's a good outlet. We need to, you know,
don't they say, like do something that makes you feel
like a kid again. We need to do that. It
was so fun, That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
At the end of the day, I had so much fun,
and I was very sore the next day.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
I'm told Mark, is it up? I'm told it's top.
Where is it? It's up? At our Instagram, at Ryan on
Air with Ryan. Do yourself a favor and enjoy and
get inspired to do something yourself and be kind please
all right, if you are having cravings this summer, I
read something about aromas that might cut those cravings. I'm
a two point seven kiss FM. Now are you trying
(08:56):
to just stay in shape? Sistney's doing hip hop class? Great,
what fantastic exercise. If you get cravings, now, the problem
with like the sun being up later, I get hungry
later because the sun is up and I want to snack. Yes,
it's the sun's fault. Yeah, I'm in the pantry because
the sun's still up. That's the problem. So if you
want to cut the cravings, they say, try smelling these
(09:18):
things and it could help with the cravings. Smell olive oil, really,
smell green apples, and smell garlic. Garlic would hungry. I'm
just gonna say, funny thing is. I kind of like
all that stuff and the garlic would make me want
to cook something. So but I guess it has to
do with your brain, your factory, olive oil, green apples, garlic.
Today's quote do you cry? I cry? You know what,
(09:42):
Cry as much as you want. But when you stop crying,
make sure you never cry for the same reason again.
Like that. That's powerful door. Yeah, it's okay to cry,
but not for the same thing again. Kiss FM State Side.
That is the song that Systney's taking hip hop classes too.
(10:04):
The video is up. It's called people are loving it.
You know. It's nice to let loose and don't ever
be embarrassed about having fun. Right If anyboy makes fun
of you having fun, they're not having fun.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah, I saw them, not you, and I'm Bear's about
taking the class and being in the class. That was
a lot of fun. It's it's the scariness to post
it out.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
I just walk away, put it up there for us
to see and walk away. I know, I know people
are loving it all right, here's the deal. BTS tickets
in a second and we have a second date update
on the way they met it. Trader Joe's Tani is
a trending report though right now.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Yeah, so I know Taylor and Travis's wedding was very public.
We saw photos, we heard a lot of stories from
the wedding. But something they're keeping super on the deal
is their honeymoon plans. So they're keeping their honeymoon on
the DL. But there are some rumors out there. So
the flexible travel route is rumor to span the Bahamas,
then they're going to hit Italy.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Then the first the flexible travel route is that it?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah, that was something no, like it could change, like
if you can find them, they might move on with somebody.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Oh, so they've So what you're saying is it's reportedly
that they booked these places, but they've got pivots along
the way, correct, So this is all alleged.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
But they start in the Bahamas, then they go to Italy,
then they go to the French Riviera, and then they
go to Croatia because Travis has roots in Croatia. Then
they had degrees and they finish it all off in
Singapore and Australia.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Wow, so well now that that's out, none of that
will happen. Yeah, they'll be pivoting immediately and.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
They're doing it now because Travis goes back to uh
to play football to play football at the end of July,
so it sounds like they're basically going to do this
until he goes back to Is it camp?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Is it camp?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (11:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Camp?
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Okay, I mean I think you had preseason like early August,
so yeah, I mean, it's like football now.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
But my friends and I were talking about honeymoon's and
just like how special they are. And a friend of
mine just did another honeymoon five years after her wedding
because she didn't actually have a honeymoon, and she was like,
I think people who are married should have honeymoons every
five years, where you take just a chunk of time
that you can't and you're you're super intentional with your
partner because it is so it's such a special time
(12:13):
and it's like once in a lifetime.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
But then why does it have to be once in
a lifetime. No, it doesn't have to be.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Save up for it and celebrate whenever you can afford
to do it. As a matter of fact, I was
on vacation and Tanya brought her honeymoon to me.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Yeah, that's true. I brought my honeymoon to you. But
I didn't know I was bringing my honeymoon.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
I didn't know. We booked the same hotel. By the way, Yeah,
as the honeymooners. It's good to see you for an hour,
and I had to go. I can't get away of that.
It's have you ever met somebody at the grocery store?
Madics in your single? I ever met someone our intern
at the grocery store?
Speaker 7 (12:45):
I would say. The Trader Joe's workers are pretty flirty.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
So are they? The Trader Jows workers are on the
flirt See I find the lighting harsh.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
No, they're just friendly. They're like told to be friendly.
They have to say, like one compliment or ask you a.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Question like that's true. They give you a comp I'm
going today.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Not a compliment, but they have to be like, what
are you gonna be doing for the rest of your day?
That has to be like a question or you have
to answer with us.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Yes, fantastic, so Elijah says to us. We met at
Trader Joe's. We both reached for the last carton of cherries.
How romantic I got of a movie? He said. I
let her have him then ask for her number. But
I was on my way to meet her for the
date and she canceled and has not responded. This is
like so common. I keep hearing these stories of people
(13:31):
canceling in these second updates and then not responding with
like anything nice. Just it's just rude. If you can't go,
you can't go. But it's just rude not to say
something about it. Elijah, I'm with you on this. Here's
the thing. If she said she's gonna go out, you're
on the way to the date, she doesn't show up,
or she cancels and then doesn't tell you why or
(13:51):
respond when you try and check. That's kind of rude
to me, Bro, Why do you want to go out
with her again?
Speaker 9 (13:57):
I think it's a case of just nerves and that
maybe she got a little bit into her head and
is overthinking the situation. But once she got a minute
to actually, like face to face interact with me, that
this would all smooth over.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Well, you're giving her the benefit of the doubt. I
would move on.
Speaker 9 (14:13):
Bro.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
I would like, I don't know what you're looking for,
but I'm looking for some of the capital K kind.
Speaker 9 (14:21):
I'm just saying, okay, okay, It's just that when we
met in person, I felt like we had an instant connection.
There was like, I don't know, it was like a
romantic comedy. We had a meet cue like we were
making eye contact, we were smiling at each other.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
It was the I get all that that's beautiful. I
love that part that carries the cart in the last one,
Trader Joe's all. That's right out of a movie. But
for somebody that cancels and then doesn't respond, they're just
not nice. Elijah, what is it about Melissa that you.
Speaker 9 (14:51):
Liked other than the fact that she's crazy attractive? No,
that would be it right off the gate.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
That's it. She's hot, all right? Got it? So she's hot.
Wants to go out with her even though she's blown
him off, he still wants to go out with her.
I mean, if that's not a dude, I don't know
what is right? I mean, what is she to you?
What did you like about her? She's all right? Next
we'll call her kiss FM? Good morning. Hey, So it's
(15:25):
Ryan Secrets Disney Tany in the back room. When you
meet someone and they blow you off, do you really
want to know why? I don't think I do. I
mean I say that often. I don't think I do.
Some people do Elijah does. He met this girl Melissa
at Trader Joe's and got her number. They made a
date and on the way she canceled, and then he
(15:46):
tried to talk to her afterwards or text her afterwards,
and she's not responding to him, And I'm thinking, well,
why do you want to go out with somebody that
treats you like that? And he said, because she's attractive?
So Elijah, what else about Melissa other than on our
physical beauty did you like?
Speaker 9 (16:03):
Well, it's obviously we have a similar diet, we have a.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Similar routines, similar routine, similar store.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
They met for two seconds.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Credibility is off the charts, all right, So Elijah, we
are going to put her on the air. She's on
the line and find out why she has decided to
blow you off and not even try to go out
with you after this romantic moment with the cherry carton
the Trader Joe's. Elijah, hold on, be very quiet, bringing
in Melissa him. Melissa, good morning, it's Ryan Seacrest and
(16:34):
Sisney and Tanny. You're on Kiss FM. How are you
I'm doing well? How are you very good? Thanks for asking.
We're calling about a guy you met it Trader Joe's.
His name is Elijah. Do you remember that moment lies you're
shopping cherries?
Speaker 10 (16:54):
Oh, the cherry guy.
Speaker 8 (16:56):
Yes, yes, you're the cherry guy. Did you never actually
went out?
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Did you give me your number?
Speaker 8 (17:04):
I did?
Speaker 9 (17:05):
I did?
Speaker 1 (17:06):
I did give my number, and then.
Speaker 8 (17:09):
Uh, well it changed my mind.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Why'd you change your mind? And I'm asking for a
specific reason. Why did you change your mind?
Speaker 8 (17:19):
Well, it was this vibe that he was given off.
It was just very short and very clipped. When I
suggested that we go to this certain restaurant, He's like, okay, cool,
And then I had to tell him that I had
(17:40):
to leave early because I forgot I had plans with
some girls. Because this was spur of the moment when
I'm in met Trader Joe's and he's like whatever.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
He said to you? He actually said the word whatever
in a text. Yeah, so he's the root one. So
trying to found somebody's route here, somebody's not being so nice.
I'm trying to fire out who I thought it was,
maybe Umanless because you didn't show up and then you
wouldn't respond to his text. But basically he responded to
you by saying whatever, Okay, got it. Did you find
(18:11):
him attractive?
Speaker 8 (18:13):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (18:15):
What about Elijah is attractive.
Speaker 8 (18:19):
He's a good looking guy.
Speaker 10 (18:20):
You know, he's he's health conscious, he makes smoothies with
his cherries.
Speaker 8 (18:26):
You know, I go to the gym. So there was
a nice little connection going on. You know, I forgot
that I had plans with my girlfriend and I was
attracted to him, so I gave him his number and
I was going to go out.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
But I really don't know him, so the yeah, that's
the thing.
Speaker 10 (18:43):
Yeah, yeah, So the first impression was cool and whatever,
with no emoji, no explanation, point just clipped.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Was not very it's it's so it's just not so
charismatic or sweet or right, it's it's not so friendly.
Solja's on the phone right now, Melissa Jim, So.
Speaker 8 (19:02):
He should go the extra mile a little bit.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Here he is. I don't know him well either, but
here he is. He's on the phone. Elijah. Did you
respond to the text like that by saying whatever.
Speaker 9 (19:13):
That's not how I meant it.
Speaker 7 (19:15):
I was like, you mean it to you?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Just say whatever.
Speaker 9 (19:20):
I meant it in like.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
I'm easy going. That was yeah, I was right. Well,
then you say no worries whatever, no, but you don't
set it. You just you can't know you if you
want to say whatever, or you're easy going to say
all good, no worries, no problem, next time, let's make
another plan. There you gotta be see. Here's the thing,
Elijah and Melissa. I think you got to be really
crystal clear when you're starting to meet somebody. You've got
(19:42):
to be very deliberate and clear with the words you choose.
When you're starting to get to know somebody, you cannot
leave things for interpretations. It just doesn't work.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
It just doesn't want interpretation to make if you don't
know the person, so they have to give you everything.
Just like I was honest and said I have plans
that my girlfriend did eight. I wasn't canceling. I was
just forgot I had those plans.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
And I don't feel a lot of warmth here. Elijah Melissa,
you both think each other are attractive people. Do you
want to go out again or should we move on?
I don't think okay, good, I don't think you should.
We're both all of us are going to let everybody go.
Thank you Elijah for reaching out. So let me see
(20:31):
your lock screens. Do you judge people by their lock screens.
Like you ever meet somebody and then you look at
their lock screen and think I can't go out with them,
or I don't think they should be part of my life. Generally,
lock screens are family photos or landscape. Let me, sissy,
you got your kids there, beautiful phot they are growing up.
Beautiful photo. Tanya, you chose your dog over your husband?
(20:52):
Or do you rotate? Do you rotate?
Speaker 4 (20:56):
This is a picture from my wedding day and it's
a picture of my dog with her bow and you.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
You only see your dog. Ye, wait a minute, is
that you? You have you on your screen? That is
not Okay, you're getting your makeup done.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Yeah, I think it's such a perfect picture.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Okay, that's a red flag.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
It is not you're in the picture done.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
In the photo.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
It's a blurry barely it's your phone. It's blonde hair
with a makeup brush going across a cheek. Who else
could it be?
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Not my face? You can't even see my eyes. It's
like your face.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
It's it's me, but it's not like a picture of me.
It's a picture of my dog.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
I'm moving on, but that's a red flag. Madison, our
intern was talking about this. You have you met people
and you look at their lock screen and think, okay,
that's a problem. Yes, what have you seen?
Speaker 7 (21:51):
I've seen a guy with like a thirst trap photo
of himself.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
About people with pictures of themselves on their screen, you
need to move on. That is not You cannot have
you in your lock screen. It's just narcissistic.
Speaker 7 (22:07):
Yeah, I agree, Or like a cringey quote where it's like, oh.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
I don't mind, what's a cringey?
Speaker 3 (22:12):
What is quote?
Speaker 1 (22:14):
A fine much better than a picture of yourself.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
I do quotes on mine, but I think it's so cringe.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
A quote on your what is your lock screen? Intern?
Speaker 7 (22:25):
Is of my three or my two friends from college?
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Are you in the photo?
Speaker 11 (22:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (22:29):
I am?
Speaker 1 (22:29):
What is what is wrong? What has happened here? Has
this all gone to your heads? MICHAELA Are you on
your phone?
Speaker 3 (22:38):
I'm not?
Speaker 9 (22:39):
No?
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Oh thank goodness for humility. Oh my gosh, Ruby, are
you on your phone? Well, it's my shadow, it's mine
and David saying no, that's artistic. Okay. A couple, A
couple is A couple is fine?
Speaker 12 (22:52):
Right?
Speaker 1 (22:53):
A couple is fine? No, yours is not. You are
by yourself the only human in the picture getting your
makeup done on your wedding day with your dog in
your lap. It's not okay, stand up for me. I
No one agrees the dog is cute.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
It's a picture of my dog, Madison.
Speaker 7 (23:11):
Would you not say, gosh? I think if you were
like more zoomed in on your dog, but I can.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
More on the dog. I think landscape is a green flag.
What's yours?
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Let me see?
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Oh gorgeous? And sideway is very artistic landscaping trees all
alive trees. Is my landscape had upside down? Anyway, I'm
glad we discovered this about Tanya. All these years that
she's been married maybe one month and a half and
she's had that. I did not realize that was such
a red flag roches FM. So it's fun. I'm scrolling,
(23:46):
you know, look for stuff to buy and then not
buy it, or buy it if you can afford it
or you need it. But there's a popular trend right
now fake shopping to get a little dopamine rush. But
they're not buying the stuff. What's the fake of shopping?
Speaker 2 (24:00):
So the fakeness is the thrill of searching, putting it
in your car, even going through the checkout process. Apparently
it tricks your brain into feeling like you shopped without
spending a single dollar.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
You never actually buy anything.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
On there, you never get it never comes right.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
No, it's sites like Picky Pick and dopamine shopping dot Com.
And apparently it's just the dopamine that hits from the
browsing and the checking and the checking out, and it's
not from getting the packages. So like, the excitement level
is not when you get the package. For us humans, Yeah, really,
it's not when we get it. It's just searching for
it and then what is the excitement? And I kind
(24:38):
of agree though, because I can't tell you how many
times I get package in the mail and I'm just like, oh,
that's what I ordered off of Old Navy the other
day and I'm like, I know what it is. I
don't need to open it right now, and it's like
and it just sits there like in the entryway for days.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
I guess that makes a lot of sense. I just
bought a book about relationships and I was like, I
gotta have this immediately. It's a hardback, and I was
like I really want to read, Like I want to
read it tonight now.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
You know, do you like the overnight or like paid
extra rush?
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Yes, and then it rushes over to you and then
you still haven't opened it. I haven't opened it.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
We're gonna need a deep dive into this book next.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Well, was like, well, I'm as soon as I open it,
I would love to tell you about it.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
No, no, no, we need to know the title of
it and why you purchased it.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Was it recommended by a certain girl in your life?
Speaker 1 (25:22):
I'll give you the title of it.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Was it recommended by a certain girl in your life?
Speaker 1 (25:26):
I'll give you the title of it. It's from the
School of Life series.
Speaker 8 (25:32):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Yes, nice?
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Good?
Speaker 3 (25:34):
What's it called?
Speaker 1 (25:34):
You know, the School's Life Friends?
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Yes? Yes, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
There's so many great books. I haven't opened them yet,
but when I do, Eye Disney, So I might be
someone who could get into this.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
I could be too, because like, there's so many times
you online shop and you're like, I actually did not
need to.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Buy that or rush ship it. Then you forget right,
so life goes by and oh my gosh, I forgot
I ordered that. Uh huh all right. So the sites
are uh dopamine shopping dot com.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yes, and Picky pick, picky.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Pick kiss FM kiss M Tany, have you changed your
lock screen yet? Tiny is a picture of herself on
her lock screen and she thinks that is a green flag.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
I do not have a picture of myself. It's a
picture of my dog and I am in the background.
But it's blurry. I'm even blurry in the background.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Would you say that's background? I mean her head is
featured in the photo. My chin.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
It's my chin and the bottom of.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
My hairs on this it is your face.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
No, come on, I can tell it's you.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Well, yes, anyway, The point is we decided that it's
a red flag to have you on your lockown.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
I changed I'm not changing it because my dog looks
angelic dog.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
I even had a family picture once and I had
to take it down because I was like, this isn't
I don't want to look at me.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
I can't see me either. I don't want to see me.
Every Friday, if I was engaged, Tanya, I wouldn't put
both of us on the phone. I'd put her up
like if I got engaged last weekend.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
You got engaged last weekend.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
If I did, I'm Cotney, I'm yeah what what hey?
Cony please help me.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Books?
Speaker 13 (27:06):
Do you see?
Speaker 1 (27:06):
I'm I'm bookended by Tanya and Sysney every day and
I come out absolutely physically drank. So Courtney, we are
going to try and get you.
Speaker 8 (27:17):
You have kids, I do. I have a little one
right here next to me, and I'm as soon as
we're awfulfully after, when I'm cropping them off at grim
and Grandpa's, I can log in for work.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Okay, God, we'll be fast. And I thought I heard
a little of one there. So it's a four pack
to Lego Land. Okay. The game is called Summer in La.
That's the name, so here it is Summer is La.
You gotta get three right before you get three wrong.
It's very simple. Multiple choice. Here's the first one. Which
southern California beach has the longest peer? Is it Santa Monica,
(27:49):
Manhattan or Ventura longest pier Ooh, Monica, It is Ventura. Actually,
I want to guess. Get that sounded like a trick question,
yet I know it's very popular, all right, Next one,
don't worry. Which free Los Angeles attraction welcomes the most
(28:12):
visitors every year? Is it the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
the Santa Monica Pier or the Griffith Observatory. It is, yes,
people love it. Okay, next one in what month is
Los Angeles the hottest? Is it July, August or September.
Speaker 8 (28:40):
I'm gonna say August.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yes, you are correct, you know he es it's true.
And for the wind which outdoor concert venue? This is
summer in La the game Tanya. Which outdoor concert venue
has the largest seating capacity outdoor largest seating The Hollywood Bowl,
the Greek Theater or the New Long Beach Amphitheater. Oh ooh,
(29:10):
I've been I would miss this a New Long Beach Amphitheater.
I have not, actually I been to two.
Speaker 10 (29:17):
Oh my gosh, you want to take that one?
Speaker 1 (29:20):
But I the Hollywood Bowl, Yeah, yeah, you got it.
That's it. The Hollywood Bill, Hollywood bol seventeen thousand compared
eleven thousand and Long Beach and six thousand at the Greek.
All right, get to grandma and Grandpa's get to the computer.
Thank you for listening. We'll give the tickets fast. Have
a great day. Courtney.
Speaker 8 (29:36):
You did it.
Speaker 9 (29:37):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
You guys, You're super welcome. Enjoy off Courtney in Orange
this morning. Thanks on there on air with Ryan Seacrest.
That is this is ah just get said, Ben, I'll
bets tickets for you in just a second if you
send us a talk back inside the iEAR radio app
(29:58):
and play some of those back. But I gotta get
Jordan up to the Mike Indie back room. Jordan and
Mikayla on the dating ass. Mikayla is not finding her
dude yet, not on Hinge, so Jordan said, I'm not
going on Hinge, I'm going on Nectar and Jordan struck
gold on Nectar coffee shop. Dude made her freestyle six
hour conversation or something like that when they met Nectar.
(30:20):
I don even know about Nectar. So now it's time
to make a decision. Are we going out with what's
his name? Ned?
Speaker 12 (30:27):
I'm not named jopping here. I'm so sorry Nectar Ned?
Are we going out with Nectar Ned a second time?
What's happening? I would like to I'm just a little
skeptical of like a few things, not any red flags.
It's just kind of me and my preferences.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Okay, So about.
Speaker 12 (30:45):
Him, He's a few years younger than me, and I've
never dated someone who's younger than me.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
I prefer either be that ye keep going.
Speaker 12 (30:56):
Yeah, there's that. And also he's a psych major that
I learned, and that very much intimidates me.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
It's like me too.
Speaker 11 (31:03):
I don't want him to read my mind.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
No, that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
So these are the two things. The young thing. Don't
worry about it. Age is a number. The connection can
happen at any points. The psyche thing. I have to
tell you, I've had situations like this before and I
thought to myself and they were they had also studied psychology,
and I was okay with it. But it did cross
(31:27):
my mind that what if they become a therapist or
something right, and then you're in deep with a therapist.
I'm not so sure. I don't know that I want
to be in deep with a therapist.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Do just so you both know that is best case scenario.
Could you imagine you get to work through your problems
in a very healthy, manageable way.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
You look at your picture of yourself on your lock screen,
look yourself in the mirror. She's got her own picture
of herself on our life. My guidance is it's too
early to call it off. But I think that question
that's interesting. By the way he's going to be an
interesting guy to talk to. I think that's kind of
(32:12):
you know, that's that's fascinating fun. And it's only the
second time. It's only second time you going out with Nectarnet.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
If you go out right, yes, it will be.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
And he's an amazing dad.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
They just had coffee and freestyle.
Speaker 12 (32:28):
It's just like so new to me because I'm used
to being the one that carries the conversation. And I
think throughout the four or six hours.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
We were telling me about it, he was.
Speaker 12 (32:36):
Like leading it and I'm not used to that. So
it's like a little intimating and I'm willing to give
it a second show.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
I think. I think out of your comfort Zone is great.
You guys had six hours of conversation, four hours what
it was of dialogue. I think it's great. Do not
shut it down too early. Do not get in your
head too much too soon.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
That's great advice.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Thank you. Now freestyle for me.
Speaker 12 (32:58):
I'm spitting bars on secrets. Oh look, everybody, let's get
on the road.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
That's on Med's going out with here a second times
tickets on next day. Kiss. I need that more often.
We are here. Let's kiss. FM the streaming and broadcasting Ryan,
Isis and Itania. We have the back room every day.
Every day. I learned something today. I learned a lot actually,
And I've been doing this with at least two of
(33:31):
you for a long time. So if you want to
hear some of the revelations from today's show, it's up
midday on the podcast on Air with Ryan Seacrest on iHeartRadio.
It's also where you can send us these talkbacks. Here's one.
I guess I told a story about a guy who
was talking to me. Oh, yes, that's right. I met
a guy in the bathroom. He was talking to me
to urinal and he asked me to get a drink
(33:52):
on his terrace afterwards at his hotel. I think he
was being friendly. Was a Southern guy. We bothered over
the fact that he was from Alabama. I was from Georgia. Dogs. Wow,
this is I'll be listening to us on iHeart in
the Bay Area.
Speaker 13 (34:07):
I'll be all right, Ryan, I'll be here from the Bay.
No guy ever talks to one another when they're peen
next to each other. I mean, I talked to my
girls when I'm peen next to them, Sai you woooom.
But no other guy, No random guy, unless flirting with you, come.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
On, you know better. I have to tell you people
do talk to me a lot. Like I talked to people.
People talk to me. You'd be surprised that the strange
place is where people will just strike up conversation with me.
And I'm open.
Speaker 8 (34:35):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
I don't mind. So this happened. And the guy, I
think he was being friendly. It was like, we're going
back to have a drink on my terrorist. Do you
want to come and at a hotel? And I was like,
I was speechless, but I say, I said it was
jet light. That's what I said. Jet Light did not
come all right to Snytania. These talk backs, we talked
(34:58):
about our inability. We're not gonna this to receive compliments,
we just get uncomfortable. We shouldn't. We should just say
two simple words, thank you, but for some reason we
find that hard. Here's Maria, who listens on I radio.
Speaker 11 (35:10):
A good idea how to take a compliment coming from
a person doesn't know how to take compliments though, when
somebody gives you a compliment, you can say thank you,
I love your good taste, have a great day.
Speaker 5 (35:22):
I love your good taste. Oh that's what she said. Yes,
that's funny, that's great. Yeah, actually that's really good. Siciny,
that lavender cap and sweatshirt combo you got right now
is so perfect for you.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
It's your color.
Speaker 7 (35:38):
Thank you. I love your good taste.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
I like it. I'm gonna say it all the time
if I ever get one. All right, Andrew in Maryland
says he agrees with Tanya about showering in the dark.
This is Tanya showering in the dark.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Why it's better for your nervous system.
Speaker 8 (35:57):
I always tend this shower in the darks because it
helps my nervous system. It just makes me feel a lot.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (36:05):
And I can guarantee you that everyone agrees with me.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Yeah, I'm a it's a risky for me to shower
in the dark. Yeah, me too. That's it. Kiss FM.
Almost ten tomorrow, Chewy Martinez is gonna be out on
the Huntington Beach with free gas. He's back at it
on the trail with your free gas assistanty and your
beautiful lavender outfit today. Thank you, you have amazing taste.
(36:33):
That's how we're taking compliments, Tanya. I think that's great advice.
We've got the name. How about it. How about just
is you here? Go ahead, give me one.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Ryan.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
I love the way that shirt is falling on you
today and the way you rolled up the sleeves.
Speaker 9 (36:46):
Great.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
I like your stop. All right, just say like that. Yeah,
I like to stop. We'll see tomorrow first day. Have
a great day. Take you care. It's kiss. Thanks for
listening so on Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to
subscribe and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
