Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest. On air, on air, on air with
Ryan Seacrest. It's Kiss FM. Young, loud, and free. Wiz Snoop, Bruno,
Seacrest with you. Good morning. We are getting to the
end of the month, and we've got sunshine. Highs in
(00:22):
the low 80s and 90s. Today's National Pop High Day.
I'm not into that. National Snack Stick Day. Schnacks! My
favorite meal are schnacks.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
I love a schnack stick.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Go to the microphone over there. What's your favorite schnack?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
What's a snack stick? Like a chomp?
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Like a beef stick. You know what I like is
a dark chocolate almond. Me too! Oh, wow.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Unexpected.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Have you ever had a dark chocolate pretzel? Uh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I prefer the almonds.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
No.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
We've had yours.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
That's much better.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
We've had yours from high school.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Oh my gosh. That's so hard to explain.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
You try it.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
So we took a field trip to Ryan's hometown, Sisney
and myself and Patty, without Ryan.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Not for work, may I add.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Not for work, to see all the places he talks about.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Without me. She wasn't your ex-girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Carrie Rusick?
Speaker 1 (01:12):
We're talking about high school. Yeah. No, she was the cheerleader.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
She was your cheerleader.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Football players had cheerleaders.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
And she would make you these chocolate-covered pretzels every game day.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
So she made them for us. So she made them
for us.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
It's not that hard.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
And that's how we got all those high.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
School pictures of you. No, but what's hard to comprehend
is why you went to my hometown to visit my
high school friends. And, by the way, they knocked on
my old house growing up, who has other families living
in it.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
We've worked with.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
You for how long?
Speaker 2 (01:38):
How many years? And we've heard about.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
All these places. But then they went into my old
bedroom as a kid.
Speaker 6 (01:42):
We did go into your old bedroom. But in our defense,
we didn't knock on the door. We were just looking
at the house.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
And then they came home.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
But you drove to my old house where I grew
up and sat outside. It was like our own little
TMZ tour. Of course they would come out.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
We were just going to take pictures outside the house.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
That's why they probably came out to shoo you away.
You see? And you know what's crazy? That?
Speaker 4 (02:04):
No.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
What's that?
Speaker 2 (02:06):
That weekend, the very next week, was the pandemic.
Speaker 7 (02:09):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
And the world shut down after that. We almost got
stuck in your hometown.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
If you're underneath my glow stars on my ceiling in
my bedroom as a kid. Which are still up there,
by the way.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
I know.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Constellations. That's how I know. Let's pay some bills next.
It's kids. All right. Two stepped well last night. The
only way out is through. No, the only way through it.
Speaker 8 (02:28):
No.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
The only way out is through.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
No, it's not, actually.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Yes, it is.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
It's not, Sissany.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
That's Tanya.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
I know. I'm saying it to you to advocate my position.
I don't really know what's right. No, the only way
through it is through it. You don't double through. The
only way out is through. No, I don't want to
be out. I want to get there.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
The only way to get through it is to get
through it.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Is to go right, is to hit it head on.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
I mean, he seems very passionate about the only way out.
The only way out is through is from who is
that guy?
Speaker 1 (03:05):
But that's not what I'm trying to say. I'm trying
to say the only way through it is to take
it head on. If you got a challenge today, take
it head on.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
This is a Ryan Seacrest special.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
OK, OK. Who's the poet you're talking about?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Robert Frost.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
The most famous of all time. That guy. You know
the one about the road goes two different ways?
Speaker 9 (03:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Which way do you go? Through it. The road less traveled.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
The road less traveled?
Speaker 1 (03:38):
You come to a fork in the road. Pull up
the quote, Ruby.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Put some respect on Robert Frost's name.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
When there's a fork in the road.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
The path not taken.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Get to the fork quote. I know this by heart.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
You don't know it by heart.
Speaker 9 (03:56):
I did.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Take it.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Take it.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Exactly what I was saying. Robert Frost and I are aligned.
When there's a fork in the road.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Take it.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Take which one? That's what the point is. When the
only way through it is through it. The only way
to take the fork is go through the fork. You
guys don't get poetry. I really don't.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Poetry is not.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
You know, one of my other favorites. This place is
so crowded. Nobody comes here anymore.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
That's a good one.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
I love Yogi Berra. Pull up Yogi Berra. Actually, that
was Yogi Berra. I know Yogi Berra. But pull up
some Yogi Berra.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
I've never heard that before.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yogi Bear?
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yogi Bear.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Oh, Yogi Bear. Yogi Bear.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Hey, boo-boo.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Where's my picnic basket? Hey, boo-boo, where am I? The
only way through the story.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Why are we quoting him?
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Boo-boo, the only way through the story. I can't say that.
There's a fork in the road where the basket is.
Speaker 8 (04:44):
What do we do?
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Boo-boo. Okay, here comes a Yogi Bear. The future ain't
what it used to be. Do you get it? It's
all contradictions. You can observe a lot of joy just
by watching.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Oh, the irony. Because you can't observe what hasn't happened.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Anyway, good morning. This is a lot. It's been a
long time since we were in school. But don't blame us.
Shall we move on to Disneyland? Because the only way
to get them is to keep listening. is kiss all
right so who slept well last night cisney tanya i.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Slept like a baby last night so.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Well i should know because i have my sleep ring on.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah how'd you sleep yeah i didn't charge it.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Well well that's the charge thing well that's what happened
with your last ring you lost the charger the charger.
Speaker 8 (05:39):
Is the size of a nickel who can keep up
with it Ronnie, how'd you sleep? I slept amazing because
I do this new thing, you guys. So you know
how people do like white noise or brown noise or
any of that stuff? So I have started sleep affirmations,
you guys. It's the best thing ever. You have to
try it. Basically, this voice talks to you for eight
hours while you're sleeping.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
It's talking to you the whole time?
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yeah, the whole time. You sleep to the affirmations? Yes.
What are the affirmations? Well, so it's like telling me
I am worthy. I am like while you're sleeping.
Speaker 7 (06:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Keep you awake. No, because it's such a soothing voice.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
No, and that's good going into your subconscious. This is
your being brainwashed.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
The guy repeats stuff. It's eight hours. Yeah. Well, I
don't know because I'm asleep, but I wake up feeling like, wow,
I am worthy to be awake.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
I am special.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yes. It sounds really creepy.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
And everything works out.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Ronnie, are you turned on by this guy?
Speaker 8 (06:34):
No, I just like it. It's very peaceful to me.
I would think this guy's coming for me.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Oh, you think he's scary sounding? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
He sounds sexy to me.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
There's no.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yes, isn't he? This guy sounds like he's 100. Play
it again.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Everything is unfolding exactly as it should.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Hot.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I think he's got serial killer glass frames for glasses.
Speaker 8 (06:57):
But when I tell you the best sleep you'll ever
have is listening to this because it just, I don't
know if I'm being hypnotized.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
While I'm sleeping, but it like sinks me in.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
I trust in life and I trust in my journey.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
What if you have somebody over? Well, they're going to
listen to it too.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
In this moment, I am safe and all is well.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Well, there's irony in that because in this moment, I
don't feel safe with you.
Speaker 8 (07:24):
It is really creepy, but it's so good for you.
I feel like I wake up.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, I want to try it.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Your energy knows no bounds.
Speaker 8 (07:31):
And there's different ones. So like this one has a
black screen where it's pitch black for you. You just
hear the voice, but then others have like colors and
stuff while you're sleeping.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Colors. Well, you know, you could see through your eyelid
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
You don't sleep with a sleep mask.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Nobody does. That's scary.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Only if I have a migraine. You guys need to
try it.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
No.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
No, it's too much.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
What do you have on your head when you sleep?
All of this is too much. Let's come back here.
We got a quote of the day next. Kiss FM.
Quote of the day here in a second. So California
battling some of the most aggressive fruit flies ever. And why?
How do you get them out? They're nagging. I don't
think they can really hurt you. No, they're just annoying.
Cut the edges off the stem of your bananas.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
It's always the bananas.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Because they're going for the top. Cut the edges off
the stem.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
And you're supposed to wash your bananas too.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Do that. Well, yeah, I don't wash my bananas.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
You're supposed to, when you get back from the store,
you're supposed to wash them out with soap or anything,
but just like.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Because the flies?
Speaker 9 (08:26):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
And that'll also help with fruit flies.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
I've never done that in my life. All right. So that,
and then cut off the tops. There you go.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
All right.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Today's quote. The best way to honor your parents is
to take care of their child. Be good boy. Be
good girl. Be good.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
No, like take care of yourself.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
No, it's not the quote.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
It is the same.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
All right, it's time. Fall started last night. We got
to declare our official song of summer in a second
at Kiss. Sissany, the headline. Kiss FM headlines with Sissany. Well,
the L.A.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
Fire Department's arson investigation into the Lineage Warehouse fire has concluded,
but the cause is still undetermined. Three new lawsuits filed
against Six Flags allege riders suffered major brain injuries after
riding the X2 roller coaster. And attorneys say more than
100 additional people have come forward. Justin Bieber held a
(09:19):
surprise concert at MacArthur Park on Monday afternoon, performed several songs,
including Yukon, for a small group of park goers. And
Taylor Swift announced that she is releasing The Life of
a Showgirl, the.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Encore, on Friday.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
A deluxe version of the album featuring four new songs
that you'll, of course, be hearing right here on Kiss
FM Friday.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
All right. I'm going to pay a bill here in
a second. It's going to be hot 80s and 90s inland.
And the song is Summer. Let's get to it. What
do you think the song of Summer was? Summer just
ended last night. Oh, yeah. We had a handful that
were in the running. Do you have a guess? Is
this any for song of summer at the top of
your list?
Speaker 6 (09:59):
It's definitely a Zara Larson song.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
What do you think, Tanya? Drop Dead, Olivia Rodrigo. Ronnie,
do you have a song of summer guess? Mine would
be Hit the Wall by Gracie Abrams.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Oh, good one.
Speaker 6 (10:10):
So good.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
I see me in your line. Before I announce the official,
I've got the math on it all. The data. Remember
back in 25? Song of Summer.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Last year?
Speaker 7 (10:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
I'm going to take you back. I'll take you back further. 24.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
Son of a Summer.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
I think that was the Son of a Summer twice.
And back, back, back further.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
23.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
True Summer. Taylor. I can't go back. Before that, one more. 22.
And for 2026, first your runners-up. Stateside by Pink Panthers
(10:58):
and Zara Larson. Dracula, runner-up.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
I mean, this one has been around forever.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I got the math, though. I got the data. Okay. Runner-up,
Olivia Rodrigo. But after we did all of the calculations
of spins, hits, requests, all the stuff.
Speaker 8 (11:21):
Right.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
They're going to the equation. The number one song of
summer of 2026 is. Who's my girl?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Suns are love.
Speaker 7 (11:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
By the way, she's not your girl five years ago
when she was still trying to make it. Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Are you kidding me? Zara's been at this for 10 years.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
I've never heard you say she's my girl. Yeah, she did.
Speaker 9 (11:43):
Yeah, she did.
Speaker 8 (11:43):
I don't recall.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah, she did. I don't remember. Yeah, she did. I
wasn't here. You don't remember what you did yesterday. What
do you want me to tell you? What I did?
You want to know?
Speaker 4 (11:52):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (11:52):
By the way, I'm still like eating your room spray.
It's in my nostrils.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
You're welcome. No, you're not welcome. Let me play something
for you to calm you down.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Everything is unfolding exactly as it should.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Relax. Bill next. Kiss. How do I deal? How do
I deal? Maybe the key to finding your human is saying,
I'm done.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
I'm done.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
I'm out.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
I'm done.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
I'm going to be with me. I'm fine with that.
Don't need a person. Even though you do. But you don't.
I mean, some people tell me you don't. I think
you do.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Everybody says this, too, when you're trying to have a baby.
The minute you stop trying, it's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Who do you talk to? The Smurfs? Smart bet. Are
those the Smurfs?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
But this is what's happening with Ashton Earl. And I
have to tell you, I am literally obsessed with her.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
I didn't know her. I started watching Earl Meets World.
And so now I'm like familiar with.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
This is on Netflix, the reality show? It's on Netflix.
On Alex Earl's younger sister, Ashton. Ashton.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
She's so cool and so funny and so cute.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
So what happened?
Speaker 6 (12:49):
She.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
She... Basically.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
I love her so much. I need my post-it. Where's
my post-it?
Speaker 3 (12:58):
So the rumors are that she's dating Landon Barker, who
is Travis Barker's son. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Sister of Alex Earl.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Son of Travis Barker.
Speaker 9 (13:05):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
So back in May, she basically went on record saying,
I'm done with dating. I'm done texting boys, done being
nice and pretending to entertain them.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
We've all said that before.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Then in August, Landon shows up to his dad's documentary premiere,
walks in with Ashton. uh sitting with travis and courtney
in the kardashian family he's also been liking her post
since july and then earlier this month landon showed up
to her netflix shows premiere two neither of them said
anything and actually she stars as a bride in the
vid in his like latest music video landon barker's music
(13:36):
video um is.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
That because they're dating i yes or is.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yeah i mean they're obviously they're obviously dating like they're
obviously dating but She's only been publicly linked to John Summit,
who she dated back in.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
They haven't said they're dating, but they're appearing in each
other's families.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
But the big kicker here is that she was like,
I'm done dating.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
This is May.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
And now she, like, clearly has a boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
She is Cher.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Cher who?
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Cher. Cher. How do you say Cher who? Madonna. Cher. Oh,
my God.
Speaker 7 (14:05):
Cher.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
There are a couple Chers.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Who's the second Cher you think of? Cher Lloyd.
Speaker 8 (14:10):
Cher.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Crickets. Do you know who that is?
Speaker 4 (14:15):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Ronnie knows. We got some hits.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Who's Cher Lloyd? She was a singer. She was a
singer on the X Factor. She was really good. She
had some.
Speaker 7 (14:23):
Hits.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Cher announced her farewell tour. Go look it up. And
then she came back with an encore.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
There's another Cher from Clueless. Cher Horowitz.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
That's a fictional Cher. The point is, announce the farewell
tour and then come back and reprise. So that's what
we got to do. Who's done with dating? Michaela, you're done.
Speaker 7 (14:44):
Done.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Go see that doctor Ronnie's going to set you up
with first.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
After him, you're done.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah, done. Unless it works out.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Yeah, then don't be done.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Maybe, yes. Keep us posted. We're going to play Which
Costs More. If you want to play that for Disneyland tickets,
call me. All right, you're on Kiss. I got Glendale's
Tenny on the phone. Thank you, Tenny, for listening to us.
It's LA's number one music station. Are you ready for
a four-pack to Disneyland?
Speaker 6 (15:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Yes, I am.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
Okay, we're going to.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Play Which Costs More? So here's how it's going to work.
I'll give you a Disneyland item and a non-Disneyland item.
You tell me which costs more. You got to get
three right before you get three wrong. Here we go.
The first one, a Disneyland churro or a Starbucks cake pop.
Which costs more? Churro. Yep, $ 7 to $ 4. 95. And worth
(15:36):
every penny.
Speaker 7 (15:37):
Agreed. Yes, it is.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
A Mickey Mouse pretzel or an In-N-Out cheeseburger? Which costs more?
Speaker 7 (15:48):
Mickey Mouse. What was it?
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Mickey Mouse pretzel.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Pretzel.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yes, it does. You're right. $ 6. 75 to $ 4.
Speaker 9 (15:57):
19.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Side note, did you see the world's biggest in-and-out store,
restaurant on the top of a mall in Vegas when
we were there over the weekend? It's new.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
No.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
It's just open, I think.
Speaker 7 (16:07):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
It's crazy cool on the roof. It's huge.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
I was there, and it's really cool.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Oh, you went to that? Did you see it?
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Yes.
Speaker 7 (16:14):
Yes, I did.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
I think it's new. It's huge.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
And did you see the baseball stadium they were building
on the strip? No. That looks awesome. Did you see
anything in Las Vegas?
Speaker 2 (16:25):
No, I saw you.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Can't get enough, can you? For the win, Disneyland Dole
Whip or a Chipotle Burrito, which costs more?
Speaker 7 (16:35):
Dole Whip?
Speaker 1 (16:41):
No, a Chipotle Burrito, $ 10 to $ 7. 49. That's all right.
Still for the win. Which costs more, a Disneyland Turkey
Leg or Or an Erwan Hailey Bieber smoothie.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Erwan? Erwan?
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Erwan. Erwan. Erwan.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
That's what her guess is. Erwan Hailey Bieber smoothie. Correct.
That's the most expensive.
Speaker 7 (17:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Erwan is nowhere backwards.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
That's what it stands for.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
It stands for nowhere? Yeah. Backwards. Backwards. Do you know that?
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Erwan.
Speaker 9 (17:18):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
It is.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Well, why do they say nowhere? Because Erewhon is hard
to say. It's very hard to say. Thank you for listening.
And Tenny, you're going to Disneyland. Yay!
Speaker 10 (17:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
You're on KISS FM.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Let's go to Sherman Oaks. It is Aubrey on the line.
Good morning, Sherman Oaks. How are you doing?
Speaker 7 (17:42):
I'm doing okay. How about you?
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Well, I'm so interested in this. So you're calling about
your wedding coming up. Congratulations.
Speaker 7 (17:51):
Thank you. Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
And your fiance's parents are offering to pay for the wedding?
Speaker 7 (17:57):
Yes, kind of.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Okay, what do you mean?
Speaker 7 (18:01):
Well, so they said they'd pay for our whole reception,
which obviously is a huge expense, and we're really happy
about that.
Speaker 8 (18:08):
But.
Speaker 7 (18:09):
They will not pay for alcohol. They're extremely religious and
they don't drink. They don't believe in drinking. And so
it's sort of like, you know, it's like a moral
issue for them. And they told us that they could
cover like the venue, food, DJ, like all of the
components of the reception, except if we want alcohol, we
have to pay for it ourselves. And, you know, me
(18:32):
and my fiance and our friends, do enjoy drinking and
we wanted to have an open bar at our reception,
but my family doesn't have the finances to help pay
for something of that magnitude. So my fiance and I
would be spending thousands of dollars of our own money
just to have drinks at the reception. Right. And my
(18:54):
fiance feels like we should just accept his parents offer
to pay for everything, you know, minus alcohol and have
a dry wedding and, I feel like we would regret
it if we didn't have the reception we actually wanted
just because someone else was going to pay for it,
you know?
Speaker 1 (19:11):
It makes sense. I get it.
Speaker 7 (19:14):
And I always think it's fun when I go to
a wedding and there's an open bar and there's like
special cocktails. That's one of the ways that I actually
like meet more of, They're friends, you know, like it
feels like it becomes sort of a family. You're in line,
you're drinking cocktails, you're talking to other people.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
So it's like really social too. This is the rest
of your life, by the way. This is a dry family.
So this is the beginning of the beginning.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
I was just thinking when people give gifts with strings attached,
this is just the beginning. When you guys have kids,
it's going to be like, oh yeah, we can babysit
if you raise them Catholic.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Oh, we, I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
What i'm just making these things up do you know
what i mean but like they'll do things but they're
going to have a string attached.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah i think you might have to.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Set the.
Speaker 7 (19:59):
On some on some level though it's like a wedding
is a huge expense right and This is why it's
such a toss-up. Would it be crazy for us to
spend thousands of our own dollars to have alcohol at
our wedding, like money that could be going toward starting
our life together, right? But at the same time, when
(20:21):
I look... Yes.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
In lieu of wedding gifts... Your guests all pitch in
cash for the bar. And you have a bar. No
one pays.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
But the parents, if they're going to pay for it,
they don't.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Want the bar. No, no, no. They're fine with it.
They just won't pay for it.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
They're not going to pay for it.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Smart.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
I mean, that's kind of brilliant.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
I should plan weddings.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
A wedding planner.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Wouldn't that be great? Unexpected. I could not. There you go.
Forget the gifts and go with the cash. And then
contribute to that. That'll get you an open bar. And
invite enough people to pay for it.
Speaker 7 (20:58):
What if we did like a cute little thing that's like,
click here for the bar fund if you want to
have fun and drink at our wedding.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
In lieu of wedding gifts, pay for the bar.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Exactly.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Yeah, that's a good idea.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
See, this is why I talk to you.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
It's a pleasure, Aubrey. You know, sometimes it just comes
to me, these wedding solutions.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
It's here every morning.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
I'm here forever, by the way. I've been here forever.
Speaker 7 (21:24):
I'm going to need to put you on my speed
dial so that you can give me more wedding advice.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Anytime, and it's always Kiss FM or iHeartRadio. Okay? Thank
you for listening. Bye-bye, and good luck. Happy wedding. See?
That's it. Don't need a blender. Get a cocktail.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
You never use them.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
All that stuff that you guys probably got You don't
even use it.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
We didn't ask for gifts.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Well, I got you one. Yeah, I got you a
gift too. You didn't say you didn't ask for anything
when I gave it to you.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
We didn't make a registry. We didn't make a registry.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Well, how did I know to get you that?
Speaker 2 (21:54):
You probably asked somebody.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
What did I get you?
Speaker 2 (21:57):
A picture frame?
Speaker 4 (21:59):
You don't know it.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Yes, a picture frame.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
No, the picture frame was for Christmas. Oh. Because I
got that too. All right, let's pay a bill next
in Orange County. Taylor Swift on kiss FM. All right.
If you just got here, Michaela just said out loud,
I think I blew it with Niall Horan. I could
have gone out with him, but I blew it now.
Cause she's looking for a guy. She's trying to find
(22:22):
a date. And she just said this out loud. You
blew it with Niall Horan. How, when, what happened?
Speaker 9 (22:27):
Okay, so I got the opportunity to work with him
a lot at iHeart in 2017, 2018. And I had
seen him back to back. So I went out with
my friends to Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood. And he
was there with his friend. Obviously, I noticed him right away.
My friends noticed him. They wanted to go up to him.
So it was like an hour later. They went up
to him.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
It was one fishbowl later.
Speaker 7 (22:49):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Liquid courage. Yeah.
Speaker 10 (22:51):
And so.
Speaker 9 (22:52):
I kind of introduced myself and he was like, Oh,
like I know, I remember you. And I was like, Oh,
he was like, I noticed you right when you walked in.
How could I forget those eyes?
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Oh my gosh. And doesn't he have a song? How
can I forget those eyes? I think it's on his
album Saddle Ranch. It's on, I think it's on the
mechanical bull. Hands, same thing. I love your hands. So yeah.
And what'd you do in that moment? I.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
You don't understand.
Speaker 9 (23:20):
I'm a huge fan of him. I had his poster
on my college room dorm.
Speaker 10 (23:24):
So I froze.
Speaker 9 (23:25):
I kind of just nervously laughed, I think. And then
we were just chatting. And then I was actually going
to see him in a couple weeks at Jingle Ball
because I was working a few shows.
Speaker 10 (23:34):
And we chatted at Jingle Ball.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
He came up to me.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
And I just never made a move. How could you
drop the ball twice? The Jingle Ball and the ball.
Speaker 9 (23:40):
Yes. I know.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
I have regrets.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Wow. That's a long time. That would have changed my life. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
All of our lives. Michaela Horan.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Michaela Horan on Kiss FM. And here's Niall now on
Kiss As Well with hands in my eyes.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
What would have been the move, though? Like, give him
your number?
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Or tell him that you like him?
Speaker 1 (24:00):
I mean, how many times can the guy make an approach?
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Your hazel eyes. What are your eyes?
Speaker 9 (24:04):
I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Your blue eyes.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Saddle Ranch was the moment to, like, exchange numbers.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yes.
Speaker 10 (24:08):
I even had a second chance at Jingle Ball. I
should just give him my number and be like, hey, like,
you're out.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
What about now? And now he's had that dinner party
and met somebody.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Yeah. Oh, you're right.
Speaker 10 (24:16):
After that, he met somebody, and he's been with her
ever since, so.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
You're right.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Could have been you.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Are they married?
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Hope is alive.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
I don't mean that in a bad way. I don't
mean it like that. Guys, I'm trying to help.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
We're not homewreckers.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Have you ever had a celebrity ball drop?
Speaker 4 (24:34):
I have.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
What is with you guys? Where's the humility in this show?
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I think I have too.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Can we take a break? Let's expose this next. Coming up,
it's Kiss FM, Disneyland tickets first. Wow, the things we
learn when we do this every day. Michaela, who's on Hinge,
and I gave her an endorsement, a testimonial on Hinge.
It's not AI. It's me saying she's a good person.
So click on her.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah, what do you call her?
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Skippity? Yeah, Skippity. Skippity.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
I was ad-libbing. It was natural. I was ad-libbing. Ronnie's
trying to set her up. Everybody's trying to set her up.
And then she says to me, or not me, I
actually overheard it.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Right, you were just eavesdropping.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Niall Horan. I missed him. I dropped the ball. Missed
opportunity with Niall Horan. He tells me the story. It
sounds like it was true. And then Sisney's like, oh,
it happened to me too. Not with Niall Horan. Not
with Niall. What celebrity did you drop the ball with?
Speaker 6 (25:25):
He was a reality TV star, which I guess technically
maybe he still is. This was at the height of
the hills. So like think 2007, 2008, obviously before Michael.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
I was at... Remember STK? The restaurant had like a
bar attached to it on... Was it La Saniga?
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Anyways, so we were in that bar.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
What does that stand for? Steak?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Steak, I think.
Speaker 6 (25:45):
So I was in that bar and him and another
one of his buddies go up like right next to
me and my friend.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
And he's literally sitting next to me at the bar.
We're ordering drinks.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
We're kind of chatting.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
And like, and then after that, I get up. My
friend's like, he's totally flirting with you.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
And I'm like, no, he's not.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
And then we went back.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
He's gone. I don't know if that's the same as Michaela.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
It's not the same as Michaela.
Speaker 6 (26:06):
But I'm just saying, had I had more of a
radar or been more proactive to flirt back.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
I feel like you have radar and you flirt back.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
I think I'm just maybe like back then just naturally flirting.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Was this before or after I produced Bromance with Brody Jenner?
Speaker 2 (26:21):
What year was that?
Speaker 1 (26:22):
2008.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
This was right around that time.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
You missed it twice.
Speaker 8 (26:26):
Oh my God.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Could have had you on the set of Bromance, bro.
Who'd you drop the ball with, Tanya?
Speaker 2 (26:32):
So mine was circa 2017.
Speaker 6 (26:34):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Circa.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Take you back.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Circa Marie Antoinette.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
To when Wonder Woman came out in theaters.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Wonder Woman.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Wonder Woman came out in theaters and I was working
the red carpet. I was doing interviews. So I was
like on the job. I interviewed Chris Pine.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Chris Pine. No way, Chris Pine.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Oh, come on.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
This is not close to what came out.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
This is delusional. Oh my God.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
We were doing.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
An interview and he was complimenting my eyes and like
saying how like something how about that or like the
ocean or something i just kind of blacked out because
i was like what and then one of my producers
was like you guys really had good chemistry and i
was like you think.
Speaker 6 (27:14):
And it was so that he left it's always someone
else that notices and you don't.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Notice it maybe he was being nice The guy's nice.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
But in my heart, it felt like we had chemistry
and we could have been a thing.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
But also, you're on the job, so you're feeling like
maybe professional.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
But wait, is he married? Is Hope still alive? I'm married. Oh, yeah,
that's right. I forgot. And I was there to marry you,
so bad on me. All right. I don't think I
have one.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
You don't?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
No, I don't think so. I think I see it
how it is.
Speaker 6 (27:47):
What?
Speaker 1 (27:48):
I don't think I have one. Do you remember one
that I have? I've never seen one.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
You've fumbled the ball with. There's got to be somebody.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
I feel like we had a guest in here that
was like, you guys were hitting it off.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
And we were like, hello. Was it Aza Gonzalez?
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Right?
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Total vibes. Yes.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
You know, I ended up naming Aza after Aza Gonzalez
because I loved her name so much. But I spelled
it with an A, not an E.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
See, that would have been awkward for me. On air
with Ryan Seacrest. this is, I did not see this
coming today. So celebrity fumbles. Michaela says, hi, you know,
I think I missed an opportunity to date now.
Speaker 9 (28:26):
Horn.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
I don't know. She told me the story. It sounded
pretty good. Sound like maybe there was a chance way
back in the day. It's saddle ranch on sunset. Then system.
He's like, oh yeah, let me chime in Brody Jenner.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
What?
Speaker 1 (28:37):
And then Tanya says Chris Pine.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
I don't know if any of these people are listening
or they have friends listening. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
By the way, we've had Brody on later and I
told him that story.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
And what did he say?
Speaker 2 (28:48):
And he basically was like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Your fault.
Speaker 8 (28:51):
Your fault.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
I don't think it's ever happened to me. I don't
think so. I think so. I think you think, but
I don't think so. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Chris and Cavallari.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 9 (29:02):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
All right. Let's get to Ruby.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Ruby.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Yes. Who did you drop the ball with?
Speaker 10 (29:08):
Well, I didn't necessarily drop... I don't know. I was
at Venice Beach... And there was like this black SUV
that I was walking. And they stopped us. It was
me and my friends. And they go, hey, you in
the plaid.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
I was wearing a plaid shirt.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
This is like scary.
Speaker 10 (29:25):
My friends are like, go up, go up. And it
was ASAP Rocky.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
Come on.
Speaker 10 (29:28):
But he asked for my number.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
What?
Speaker 10 (29:31):
And so I gave him my number. This was 2012.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
So you and the plaid works?
Speaker 10 (29:35):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Yo, you and the plaid.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
You and the plaid. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 10 (29:39):
I was scared, but my friends were like, go, go.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
It's ASAP.
Speaker 10 (29:42):
So I was like, okay.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
What happened?
Speaker 10 (29:46):
I gave him my number.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
He would only text me at night.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
I think that says everything.
Speaker 10 (29:52):
No, he would text me at 2 a.m. Like, come
to the studio. I'm like, I'm not going to the studio.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
That is much more legit than y'all's. Ronnie, you have one?
Mine's legit.
Speaker 10 (30:06):
Bad girl, Ruru.
Speaker 8 (30:07):
Okay, Ronnie. Mine, I feel like mine is... This is
a crazy story because mine is little Nas X. And
people always say we look alike.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
You do look alike. And you know how they say, yeah,
like you date people that you look like?
Speaker 8 (30:18):
No.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
I don't ever hear that. That only works for you. Oh, yeah.
That's not working for me.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
No, you dated somebody that you look like. That is who?
Speaker 7 (30:26):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
I will tell you off the air because I've been
watching her on TV. And my husband even said she
looks like Ryan's sister.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
And I was like, yep.
Speaker 9 (30:34):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Well, you guys are.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Such a cute couple.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Yeah. She does not look like my sister, by the way.
I does not look.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
But you can look related.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Carry on. Carry on.
Speaker 8 (30:43):
So, mine is Lil Nas X. He came in the
office one day. And, you know, we're there. He's doing
all his interviews. And we go to take pictures. Everyone
he's not touching in the pictures. But me, he was
all over me.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Like, hugging. Very touchy. And what happened?
Speaker 8 (30:58):
So, then fast forward. I'm out at the Abbey in
West Hollywood. Just on the dance floor. And I look
to my left and he's right there.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Yeah. Right there.
Speaker 8 (31:07):
And I'm like, oh my gosh, he remembered who I was.
Or he followed you there. So we're chatting, whatever. He
walks away. Then his friend or publicist or whoever comes
over to me and was like, oh, can I get
your number for him?
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Give it to them. Never heard anything. No. See, that's legit.
Speaker 9 (31:23):
No.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
That's legit, you two.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
The number may have been off.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Well, I typed it in. Well, I had some dreams.
Lil Nas X and team. Yes. Why are our stories
not legit?
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Mine's probably the least legit, if I'm being honest.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Are you talking about this person looks like my sister?
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Her hair is darker now. I don't think she looks
like your sister. Her hair is darker now.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
This person and that dog?
Speaker 2 (31:45):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
How far back did you go on your phone? Like
a week.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
All right.
Speaker 8 (31:49):
Whoa.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Coming up next. Yeah, I was like, that looks recent.
We're paying a bill $ 1, 000 next. Wow. Please get this podcast.
Fascinating to go back and hear what every single person
on this show thinks that they missed it. They dropped
the ball with the missed opportunity of dating a celebrity. Now,
I forgot there's one more person we need to go
around the room with. Sisney, Brody Jenner, Tanya, Chris Pine,
(32:13):
Michaela Nahorin, Ronnie Lonelon's ex, and Tubbs, I didn't get
to you. Who did you drop the ball with?
Speaker 5 (32:20):
Well, this goes back some years, but we were doing
a special show with Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
You guys are delusional. I didn't see it in the moment.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
I came in. Was this when we were in New York?
Speaker 4 (32:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
I had, were you jealous?
Speaker 2 (32:38):
No.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Yeah. I had to like miss the microphone or something.
So I go and I move it and I, I
don't see this after the fact. They tell me, I
think she was looking at you. Well, I'm looking at you.
Does that mean?
Speaker 5 (32:52):
No, but it was like a, and then I saw
the video. It was like a look and she kind
of like shook her hair. Like, Oh, like she got
flustered for a second.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Well, because you're, like, handsome.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
You know what I appreciate about that story and all
of your stories? You think highly of yourself. You have self-confidence.
And that's a good trait. Good for you. The fact
that he's a Taylor Swift example is iconic. I know.
It illegitimizes everything we've done.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
You kind of look like Travis Kelsey a little bit.
Kind of.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
As much as Brody Jenner did not want to go
out with y'all, he does not look like Travis Kelsey.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
There was a moment with Brody. I'm not going to
deny it.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
I don't even know what I was going to do.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
We were going to talk about live on Sunset.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Is it real? I heard it's, I don't know. Is
it really happening?
Speaker 2 (33:36):
It's going to be Saturday, November 14th.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Is it confirmed?
Speaker 2 (33:39):
They're going to be shutting down between Doheny and.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
For another live music festival in LA.
Speaker 7 (33:43):
Right.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
And the whole thing's going to be free, actually.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
They're going to close down Sunset Boulevard.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
One day outdoor concert.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
It's called live on sunset.
Speaker 10 (33:51):
You're right.
Speaker 6 (33:51):
They haven't announced the lineup or exact times yet, which
kind of makes the whole thing a little bit more
intriguing because like, who is this going to be? Justin
Bieber already surprised everyone with a pop-up performance on the
strip this past year. So now people are wondering and
throwing out names and trying to figure out like, Ooh,
what will headline this festival on sunset?
Speaker 1 (34:08):
I'm great, but I'm more interested in what just happened
here with tubs. That was just crazy to see. You're
talking about misreading situations?
Speaker 2 (34:16):
No, but when you said it, I do recall that moment, yes.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Of course you do. I do. I know. You recall
a lot of moments with Tubbs.
Speaker 7 (34:24):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Wow. She was checking me out. Let's come back. You
guys are crazy. That's it for us. Wow, wow, wow.

Speaker 1 (34:46):

Speaker 2 (34:47):
I can't wait to go home and share all these stories.
Speaker 1 (34:50):

don't even have to go home. You can listen right
