Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Good
morning and welcome back to it. 102.7 at Kiss FM.
We're heading into a new week and more heat. 80s
and 90s again. Hi, Sisney. Hi, Tanya. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Here we are.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Let's see.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
What do we got today? The Primetime Emmys tonight. Today's
National Cream-Filled Donut Day. Happy birthday to the Pope. The
Pope's got a big party coming up. Pope Leo. Yeah,
Pope Leo does for the birthday party.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
71.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Now, here's our plan. Chatsworth. That's the site for free gas.
Ronnie's going to be out there. And it is a Monday.
So as you get yourself organized... This morning, Ryan's Roses
is coming up. She overheard an odd phone conversation involving
her husband. Now, it was unconventional, this conversation, and he

(00:59):
had an excuse. His sister says he's lying about it.
His sister. So if his sister is throwing him under
the bus, that is pretty credible. Wow. That's coming up
at 7.40 this morning. Have you sent me your name

(01:19):
to get your bill paid? That's the other thing we're doing.
And it is, I mean, with every week and day
that goes by, we're talking about those products that are
going to go up in price, household things that are
not going down before the end of the year. It
all adds up. So that's why we're paying your bills.
I am the, I don't know if I'm the mascot,
but definitely the number one advocate for side hustling. I've

(01:41):
always had two or three things, sometimes nine things going
at once. I like it.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
A lot of plates spinning in the air.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
A lot of plates spinning. Everybody's got a side hustle.
You need a side hustle, right? Jordan, you've got a
lot of side hustles. I'm going to bring it up
to the microphone. Jordan works at here, works at Jersey Mike's.
I didn't realize you were reffing basketball in the Valley.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Oh, yeah. One of my favorite things, actually, to do.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Now, what does it take to be a basketball ref,
and what ages are you reffing?

Speaker 6 (02:08):
Eight.

Speaker 7 (02:09):
One, it takes a lot of guts and you just
got to be brave. Just going out there, always being
the enemy.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
But yeah, I.

Speaker 7 (02:16):
Do all ages from maybe like little kids, first grade
till about eighth grade.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
And how long have you known all the detailed rules
of basketball?

Speaker 7 (02:27):
Since it was my first gig, actually, and I was 12.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
You were reffing at 12?

Speaker 8 (02:33):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I want a 12 year old referee.

Speaker 7 (02:37):
I was like so eager to make money. And my
mom said, let's see what's in Burbank that you can do.
Like that's, you know, kind of under the table, make
some quick cash.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
And it was that.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
So under the table cash. There you go.

Speaker 9 (02:51):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So this is a first though, right? You had to
throw a lot of dad at the game.

Speaker 9 (02:56):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (02:56):
I'm feeling pretty good these days. It felt great to just,
finally get this guy out of here. He's been an
issue for this league specifically, just always known as the
one that tries to.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Make his kid look like a star. And, you know,
I'm here for it.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
You know, I'm never going to drag him, but he's
just always rude to the refs. And so to that
on Saturday, when I was doing these games, he came
in and my.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Partner and I were looking at each other like, oh, great,
we got this guy.

Speaker 7 (03:24):
And I think maybe towards the end of the first half, he,
in front of us, it was me, him, and his son.
His son flopped. And I didn't make the call because
obviously it was a flop. And he yelled at me.
And he pointed his finger at me and was just
like being very patronizing.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
So I said, all right, dude, I've had it. blew
the whistle, and I said, you're out of here. It
felt so good.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
That's amazing.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
It took so much in me to just do that, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Tweet, you're out of here.

Speaker 7 (03:56):
Yup, yup.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
And what did the crowd do? What did the players do?

Speaker 7 (03:59):
You know, we got some boos because obviously like the
other team, it was a championship game. So none of
the players and none of the parents were happy, but
me and my partner, we looked at each other and
we're like, yeah, that was a good call.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Good. Good on you. And you reserved the power to
do that since you were 12 years old. So you've
been waiting for the right moment.

Speaker 10 (04:19):
Waiting.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
And it was him and it felt just so good
because I'm not really a confrontational person. So like doing
that really just like put my foot down.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Do you on the way out after the game, do
you make sure you slip out the side door?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
No, I walked out the same exit as all of them.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
And he didn't say anything to you? Like, why'd you
throw me out?

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I honestly couldn't find him.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
I was waiting for him to see if he was
waiting for my partner and I to come out, but
he was gone.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
We want to go watch you ref the game.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Please.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Good on you.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Better watch out. Jordan's on one. You better watch out.
Don't get in her way out here on Kiss FM
in the back room. You know, if the theme parks
are doing Halloween... It's fine for you to start getting
ready for Halloween and decorating your house for Halloween. I
think it's totally fine. And after all this heat, we're
ready for some of these fall holidays. It's fine, obviously,
to start planning your Thanksgiving. And what are you going

(05:10):
to do for the holidays? Because this month will go fast.

Speaker 9 (05:12):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
It will.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
You've got to coordinate. Now, Tonya, you were pitching a
new idea for Thanksgiving this year, weren't you?

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (05:18):
Well, because we were talking to some of our family
who will have to double dip on Thanksgiving coming up.
to ours and go to another family members. And so
we were thinking about maybe doing it differently this year
and doing, instead of doing Thanksgiving at like three or
four Thanksgiving dinner, doing Thanksgiving brunch. That way everybody can
come to us early and then go to their other houses.

(05:40):
But then I was like, do we serve French toast
and pancakes and eggs?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Turkey sausage.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (05:49):
Turkey sausage.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
A little spin on it.

Speaker 9 (05:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Hold on. I want to understand the brunch.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Is the brunch convenient for you or for people coming?

Speaker 10 (05:57):
People coming.

Speaker 9 (05:59):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
I don't know if it's convenient for anybody.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Who wants to get up and rush into Thanksgiving? I mean,
you have to hit a bunch of spots.

Speaker 10 (06:07):
If you have two, wouldn't you rather one be a
lot earlier? And then, you know, this.

Speaker 12 (06:10):
Has happened in my family and we didn't do a brunch,
but my mother-in-law ended up doing Thanksgiving on Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And so we had two Thanksgivings. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
It's it's a, it throws you a little bit. I've
done that before with some of our family and our friends.
We've had a Friendsgiving and then a Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
And it's kind of nice because you get twice the
experience of a full Thanksgiving.

Speaker 11 (06:33):
But then if we do it on Wednesday, then what
do we do on our actual Thanksgiving when we don't
have anywhere else to go?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
You can come over to my house. I don't even
know if I'm actually.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
What time is the first football game? Oh, like 10 a.m., right?
I think it works.

Speaker 12 (06:47):
I don't hate the brunch idea. I mean, people want
to eat all day, so might as well just feed
them their brunch. You get excited, you get up, put
the parade on, put the game on and start. But
you have plenty of breakfast turkey items.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Right.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
And you're right.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
We could do like a spin.

Speaker 11 (07:00):
Like we could do like, like, yeah, instead of mashed potatoes,
we do hash browns.

Speaker 10 (07:04):
And instead of stuffing, we do.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
You'll figure it out.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Like a turkey hash.

Speaker 10 (07:09):
Cranberry pancakes. You know, like we could kind of do
a spin on things.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I think it's actually, it could catch on.

Speaker 10 (07:15):
It's kind of cute.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I think so.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
And then you have the rest of the day off. Right. Yeah,
that's true, too. Get everybody out.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
You didn't sell it to me that way.

Speaker 10 (07:24):
And then we can, like, go on a long walk
in the afternoon.

Speaker 8 (07:26):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Good.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Long walk. Yeah, long walk and a talk. Yeah, I
love a talk. You know, Robbie, what are you thankful
for about me?

Speaker 12 (07:34):
And then Robbie and I can write down what we're
thankful for all night.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Oh, I love it.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
All right, coming up next is a quote of the day.
It's Kiss FM. Oh, I want to tell you, I
saw this. These are considered the names of... These are
the future names for children that are considered to be
the most loyal, trustworthy, and grounded people if they have
this name. So if you're thinking about a baby name,
the most loyal, trustworthy, and grounded female names, Elizabeth, Caroline,

(08:03):
and Anna. We don't have any here.

Speaker 8 (08:07):
No.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
For the guys, the names are William, Robert, and Alexander.

Speaker 10 (08:13):
Oh, Robert is stand up.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Really? Do you know a Robert?

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I know, yeah.

Speaker 10 (08:20):
Every Robert I.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Know is like.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Isn't your husband Robert?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
No, he's just Robbie. Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 1 (08:25):
He's not Robert. No, he's not Robert.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
He's just Robbie on his birth certificate.

Speaker 10 (08:28):
R-O-B-Y.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
But that is interesting. I never thought about that.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
That's kind of like Robie. Yeah, it's not Robert.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
And did you ever ask his parents why?

Speaker 4 (08:38):
No, actually.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
And why is Robert Bobby?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
You guys, I mean... Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
Right?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
That makes zero sense to me.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Why is Richard? Uh-huh.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
We can't even say it.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Let's just move on to the quote. No amount of
waiting will make you braver. No amount of worrying will
make you safer.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Stop.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Take the anxiety down. This is Kiss FM. Good morning.
Kiss after 7 o'clock. We're going to check in with Ronnie.
Chat's worth free gas. Sisney, the headlines. Kiss FM headlines
with Sisney.

Speaker 12 (09:13):
Well, Santa Monica's Ocean Wave Festival was canceled due to
the beach erosion caused by the waves from Hurricane Marie.
Hundreds gathered yesterday for the 80th.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Annual East L.A. Mexican Independence Day Parade and Festival.

Speaker 12 (09:26):
An LAPD task force issued citations and impounded dozens of
minibikes during a massive 6th.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Street Bridge takeover yesterday afternoon.

Speaker 12 (09:36):
And Snoop Dogg will host and executive produce the 2026
MTV Video Music Awards, September 27th at Peacock Theater here
in L.A.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Well, it is 102.7 KISS FM. Ryan's Rose is coming
up in a few minutes. 740. We get into it here.
She overheard an odd phone conversation involving her husband. He
had an excuse. His sisters. saying he's lying details at
740 now ronnie and chatsworth with free gas what you

(10:05):
got ronnie good morning hey this is you're on ronnie
yeah i can hear you guys you can hear me
yes we can hear you do you have free gas
for somebody.

Speaker 8 (10:20):
Okay, listen. I'm still on the way to the gas station.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Oh, okay. Running.

Speaker 8 (10:27):
I'm like seven minutes away. I was running a little
late this morning, but I am getting there, and I'm
going to give people some free gas.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Okay, so just call it. Don't worry about it. We
have plenty of things to get to this morning, so
when you get there... He's trying to be.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Oh, can you guys hear me?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Are you sure? Oh, he actually might be bad. Buying
himself some time.

Speaker 8 (10:48):
The service is bad. I really can't hear you guys
so well.

Speaker 12 (10:53):
We knew this day would come when your alarm clock
wouldn't go off and you would be late.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Are you traditionally an oversleeper?

Speaker 8 (11:00):
Well, you know, I'm just like, yeah, I'm not traditionally
an oversleeper, but I'm not so much a morning person.
And then I get really nervous. So I text my mom.
This is a true story. My mom lives in Florida,
so they're three hours ahead. And I will text her
to be like, hey, mommy, can you wake me up, please,
when I have to be up early?

Speaker 1 (11:19):
And what does she do to wake you up?

Speaker 6 (11:21):
She'll call me over and over again.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
So you're not a, you're not normally a morning person, huh?

Speaker 8 (11:28):
No, I love to just sleep in.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Well, so do I. All right. Ronnie, we will check
in with you when you get to the gas station
in your own time. Okay.

Speaker 8 (11:43):
Well, I'm going to get there fast. I'm not just
cruising along.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Okay, bye. Bye. All right. I want Ronnie's mommy to
call me and wake me up. Yeah, mommy. 102.7 KISS FM.
I got to take this call from Taylor. Very interesting.
I'm not quite sure where it's going to go, but
I think, Taylor, good morning. So you're calling about your
ex who's a serial cheater who's dating somebody else, and

(12:10):
you're wondering, should you tip off the new girl? Yes, yes.

Speaker 13 (12:16):
So basically, my ex-husband, he cheated on me repeatedly throughout
our marriage. sick and he just continued cheating in like
every single way possible until we finally divorced a little
over a year ago and now he has a new
girlfriend but honestly like i feel terrible for her she
seems so sweet and i know exactly how charming and

(12:37):
manipulative he can be and so like i you know
just girl to girl i desperately want to warn her
but am i going to come across as like a
bitter ex-wife trying to sabotage.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
His new relationship kind of yes possibly.

Speaker 13 (12:49):
Yeah okay The question is, I.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Mean, at some point you've got to just stop and say,
this is not your problem anymore.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
It's not my world.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Because otherwise it continues. I know you want, it's a,
it's a kind hearted thing you want to do, but
I really believe you got to just pause and go,
not my, I lived through this. Not my problem. Not
get involved in the next layer of this.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
That continues to have you, you connected to him too.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Exactly. And then, the toxicness of it.

Speaker 11 (13:21):
Unless you start dating somebody in your world, like a
friend of yours or something, but then that'd be weird.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
So yeah, that'd be messed up.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
But I do feel what you're saying, which is you
feel bad for this new person. It's going to find
out the hard way.

Speaker 9 (13:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (13:35):
And I wouldn't give it anything for someone to warn
me when I first got with him. Cause at least
it would have planted a seed.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Oh, see this changes things now.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
It does.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
Hmm.

Speaker 9 (13:45):
Hmm.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Hmm.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Okay. If it were me, I would just, I would
want to do the good thing, but I would stop.
I would just let it, it needs to be, the
universe needs to move you two on from each other.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Okay. That's what I think you should do for your
own sake and your own heart.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
Do you guys have kids?

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
No, thank goodness.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Even more of a reason to cut ties and just
don't get involved.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
You're a good person and sorry it all happened to you, Taylor.
Thank you for calling.

Speaker 13 (14:14):
Thank you. Thanks so much.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Bye.

Speaker 9 (14:17):
Bye. Bye.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Maybe an anonymous note. Anyway, Ryan's Rose is next and
Disneyland tickets. 102.7 Kiss FM. It's time for Ryan's Roses.
If you think someone is cheating on you, this is
a last resort to come to, but a public service.
And we'll try and help out. Katie is on the line. So, Katie,

(14:41):
explain this. You overheard your husband on a phone call saying, okay, sweetie,
to somebody else. You asked him about it, and he
said what?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
So as soon as he hung up the phone, I
was like, who was that? He paused and he said
it was his mom.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
And I was just like, okay, you call your mom sweetie?
And he said, yeah, I've called her that for years, so.
I don't know. I tried to get into his phone
and I failed. So I called his sister and I
asked her, I said, have you ever heard your brother
call your mom sweetie? And she laughed and said never.

(15:21):
And then she realized this was not a laughing matter.
And she's actually the one who suggested I reached out
to you.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
So why does his sister not believe it?

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Because she said he's never called his mom sweetie. I mean,
if that's something he does all the time, I feel
like his sister would have heard him do that.

Speaker 12 (15:40):
And you would know by now if he's your husband,
you know, like you would have heard it in passing
or whatever.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
In five years? Yeah, I think I would have heard
him do it. I mean, I've never, neither of us
have ever heard him do that.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Yeah, that's strange.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Maybe it was accidental. I mean, Tanya called L.A. baby
earlier and that was strange.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Did you ever call your mom sweetie, Ryan?

Speaker 9 (16:00):
No.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I don't call anybody sweetie.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
I haven't heard him called. He's never called me sweetie.
That's just not a word in his vocabulary.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Okay. It's not in mine either. I say like babe, baby, baby, baby. Anyway,
hold on one second. We'll try and track him down
next and see if we can find out. It's Kiss FM.
We're about to make the call for Ryan's Roses. Katie's
on the line. She overheard her husband on the phone
call saying, okay, sweetie, when he was hanging up, he said, oh,

(16:30):
that was my mom. His own sister says no. He's
never said that to our mom before. So we think
something's going on. That's what Katie is concerned about. So, Katie,
we're going to call your husband and see what we
can find out. Is he talking to another woman calling
her sweetie and denying it to you? I need you
to say, Ryan, you have my permission to call and

(16:52):
then his name. Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Ryan, you have my permission to call.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
We're going to do it now. Be very quiet. So
we can see what he says. Here we go.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Hi, is this Justin?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
It is, yes.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Hi, my name is Erin. I'm calling from Magic Blooms.
How are you doing this morning?

Speaker 6 (17:24):
Doing okay.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Great.

Speaker 12 (17:25):
You know, we deliver here locally in Anaheim and surrounding areas,
and we're offering a free promotion. It's free dozen red
roses that you can send to anybody that you'd like.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
What company is this?

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Our name is Magic Blooms, and we deliver here locally.

Speaker 6 (17:40):
Magic Blooms. How did you guys get my number?

Speaker 12 (17:44):
You may have purchased something either online in the past
18 months and selected to receive promotional offers.

Speaker 6 (17:50):
God, I do not know how I got on these lists.

Speaker 12 (17:54):
Um, we don't, we don't take your info or anything
like that. I don't need cash from you. It's not
a subscription. It's just something that we do about once
a month. We like to, you know, do this promotion.
It's a free dozen red roses. You can send them
to anybody and there's no obligation for you to come
back to us or anything like that. I mean, if
you want to come back as a customer, fantastic. Spread
the word.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Great.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Obviously, but these are free.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Right. And then I give you my email and then
I get bombarded.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
With like, no, I don't need your email. Is there
anybody that you want to send free roses to?

Speaker 6 (18:25):
So if I, if I send roses, then, um, I'm not,
I'm not put on like a special, like mailing list
or a third party list or anything like that.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
No.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
All right.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
Well then, uh, I mean, fine.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
All right.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Let's start with the name of the person you want
to send to.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Uh, okay.

Speaker 6 (18:46):
The name's Amber.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
All right. And what would you like to put on
the card for Amber?

Speaker 6 (18:51):
Oh, there's a card. Um, I don't know, something like,
are they like little tiny cards?

Speaker 8 (19:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Yeah, just put something like, consider this a grand gesture.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
How about that?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Consider this a grand gesture, okay.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Justin, your voice is being broadcast on the radio, and
I have your wife, Katie, on the phone. Who is Amber?

Speaker 9 (19:19):
What?

Speaker 7 (19:23):
What?

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Who is Amber?

Speaker 6 (19:26):
I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
What do you mean? I just heard you send her
a grand gesture.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
In the form of red romantic roses. Just who is she?

Speaker 6 (19:45):
Amber's an old friend of mine. I don't understand what's
going on here.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 13 (19:49):
I knew it.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
I knew it.

Speaker 9 (19:50):
I knew it.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
You are such a liar. I knew you were talking
to Amber and not your mom.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Just to retrace the steps here, Justin, your wife Katie
reached out to us to find out what's happening in
your relationship. She heard you say something about sweetie on
the phone the other day. Your own sister said that
wasn't your mom as you tried to make it your mom.
It wasn't. So who's Amber?

Speaker 6 (20:16):
That was my mom that I was talking to the
other day.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Katie, what are you doing?

Speaker 6 (20:21):
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Even if it was your mom, why are you sending
Amber the grand gesture of red roses?

Speaker 3 (20:29):
You're such a liar.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Amber's an old friend of mine. Amber, I knew it.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Amber's an old friend. Do you know his old friend, Katie?

Speaker 2 (20:37):
It's his ex-girlfriend. He never wanted to talk about why
she broke up with him.

Speaker 6 (20:45):
I literally knew this would happen. I talked to Amber...
Cause she had just gone through something. She just, she
had just gone through a big loss in her life.
And I was simply being a friend online. So I
thought in this moment, yeah, I'll send somebody, you know,
like feel better.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
But you didn't say feel better in the card.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
Yeah. I said, I said, here's a nice gesture.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
No, you said this is a grand gesture.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Justin, you're caught, bro. This is really clean and simple.
You're caught. Just fess up.

Speaker 6 (21:23):
It's literally an inside joke between... Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
That's so cute.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
No, it's not. Deep down, I always knew I was
your second choice. I married you anyway. I'm an idiot.
I don't even know why we're doing this. Oh, my God.
I can't believe this.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
Katie, let me talk to you, okay, without... like all
this influence going on? No.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
How's that going to change things? Yeah. What's that going
to do?

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Just work it out.

Speaker 6 (21:56):
Like figure it, figure it out. I am not even.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Figure out. Do you still love her?

Speaker 6 (22:02):
Don't you still love her?

Speaker 8 (22:02):
Don't you?

Speaker 6 (22:05):
I mean, you always have some form of love for,
you know, people that you've loved before.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Wrong answer.

Speaker 10 (22:11):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Wrong answer, Justin.

Speaker 10 (22:13):
Bad, bad, very bad.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Shouldn't be in this marriage with Katie. We are going
to let you both go. Katie, I'm sorry that your
hunch was correct, but I think you have a real
clear idea of what's happening here. And, Justin, I believe
you are lost.

Speaker 6 (22:26):
I think you are lost, okay? I am simply talking
to someone. I can't believe this.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
You're going to have to believe it. Good luck to
both of you. I should not be in that marriage.
Ryan's Roses, Kiss FM. On air with Ryan Seacrest. All right,
102.7 Kiss FM. I'm about to pay another bill. That
Dominic Fike song, I like that. Right? Ronnie is in

(22:52):
Chatsworth right now.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Really?

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Ronnie, good morning. Good morning. So you did make it.
I know you were on this slow roll this morning,
which is fine. You're not a morning person. I just
discovered that, I think, now after sending you out early
mornings for so many weeks. So thank you for your commitment.
I know.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (23:11):
My mom has been having to wake me up, but
it's okay. It's like, you know, no stress off her back.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
But you didn't break a sweat. You didn't say, hey, listen,
I'm not a morning person. You just went for it.
You grinned and you bared it.

Speaker 13 (23:23):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (23:23):
I am a team player, if anything.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
All right. Well, who you have with you?

Speaker 8 (23:28):
Okay. I just ran up on someone right now. Hi.
What is your name? Sorry.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Paulina. Okay.

Speaker 8 (23:35):
I'm here with Paulina. I just asked her. She wants
some free gas.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
So here she goes.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Hello, Paulina. It's Ryan Seacrest on kiss. How are you?

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Hi, how are you doing?

Speaker 1 (23:47):
I'm good. What are you up to this morning? Paulina?

Speaker 2 (23:50):
I'm actually pumping some gas for my boss.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
What kind of car?

Speaker 12 (23:54):
It's a Lexus.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
So that car you're filling up isn't even your own car?

Speaker 8 (24:00):
No, ma'am. No, sir.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
Sorry.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
How do you want to play this, though? Because, all right,
here's what we're doing. So the idea is gas prices
are crazy. The commute is long. It's a real headache.
We're trying to alleviate stress. So we're buying free tanks
of gas at random gas stations. Chatsworth happens to be
the location this morning. Ronnie, who's not a morning person,
decided he wanted to take on this role of doing

(24:22):
the free gas. He's been doing a great job. Yes.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
I literally want to record myself.

Speaker 9 (24:26):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Okay. Awesome. He's been doing a great job.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
I mean, we can pump my boss's gas or we
can double it and give it to the next person,
either or, you know?

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Well, that's the question. Do you want us to take
care of your boss's gas?

Speaker 13 (24:42):
Yes, it's for her.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Oh, then go in there and get yourself.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Some snacks inside the store.

Speaker 13 (24:46):
Offset it.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
Are you sure?

Speaker 1 (24:51):
I mean.

Speaker 13 (24:52):
No, no.

Speaker 11 (24:53):
What's he saying is still use your boss's credit card
for the gas and then use Ronnie's card to get
yourself some snacks.

Speaker 12 (24:59):
No, I was actually saying use your boss's card to
go in and get whatever $ 80.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Worth of snacks.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Use my boss's card to go get snacks?

Speaker 1 (25:06):
No. That's bad advice. Use your boss's card to fill
up the tank and then Ronnie should give you a
gift certificate for your own tank.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (25:14):
I have an Acura and I pump Chevron too, so
that'd be awesome if you guys can give me a
gift certificate.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Let's do that. Tell that guy right there, Ronnie, that
we said do that.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Ronnie said, he said, give me a gift certificate.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
Okay.

Speaker 13 (25:25):
Period. Thank you guys so, so much.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Thank you very much for breaking it down with us.
We got there.

Speaker 7 (25:32):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (25:33):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
Paulina.

Speaker 13 (25:34):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
I'm all sweaty.

Speaker 8 (25:36):
Oh, you're okay.

Speaker 7 (25:37):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Yeah. Did you hear all that?

Speaker 8 (25:40):
I heard all that. So I'm a, well, we'll have
you guys figure out how to get the gift certificate.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
And then I'll just go inside. Go inside and they'll
have them.

Speaker 8 (25:49):
I guess I could do that.

Speaker 6 (25:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (25:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
No, this is you. You go figure it out. We
got stuff to do.

Speaker 8 (25:58):
I don't know how to do that, but I will
figure it out.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
You just go in there and say, I want a
gift card for X amount of money.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
And then give her the gift card.

Speaker 10 (26:04):
Probably like a hundred bucks.

Speaker 6 (26:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Make it cute.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Don't you have the credit card?

Speaker 13 (26:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Just use it inside.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Did you go out last night, Ronnie?

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Have you ever gotten gas?

Speaker 8 (26:16):
Personally, an adult, I don't know how to do this stuff.

Speaker 11 (26:19):
Respectfully, his mom calls to wake him up in the morning.

Speaker 12 (26:22):
Stop saying respectfully for everything.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Ronnie, you will get there. Don't worry. We are counting
on you.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
With respect.

Speaker 8 (26:30):
Let me get my girl a gift card.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
You can do it. We believe in you. And fill
up her boss's car, too.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
No.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
No.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
That wasn't part of the deal.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Oh, sorry.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
That's not. Oh, my gosh. Sorry, Ronnie. I understand. Bye-bye.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Bye-bye.

Speaker 6 (26:45):
Bye, you guys.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Bye-bye. My bad. All right. Let's move on. I love Paulina.
We got it done for her. We're paying your bill
in the San Gabriel Valley next. 1 at 2.7, KISS
FM in Los Angeles. Hi, Monday. How are you facing
your Monday? Head on, I hope. September 14th. And a
busy weekend, certainly for us here. Chargers game, you went.

(27:11):
It wasn't exactly how you wanted it to turn out.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
No, I know.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
They lost. Yeah, 26-14. But you went down. You know
what I love about Cisney? She is a full-blown fan.
She gets down there. She tailgates. She's early. Then she
gets to the game. So what happened? I mean, if
you're almost a pro.
Player at this point you've been in so many games
what happened what went wrong because i think i have

(27:36):
a hunch i.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
Don't know why did they lose our defense.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
And so when something like that happens, I remember when
I was, I think they played sloppy. I think that's
the right word, right? A little sloppy.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (27:49):
We just couldn't, we would get so close and then
I don't want to blame it on Herbert, but yeah,
we just, we couldn't.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
You can't blame it on one player. It's a team effort.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Cannot. McConkie did incredible.

Speaker 12 (28:00):
He, he made a few touchdowns and he was really
the key player, but then that's on Herbert too.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
So that means Herbert's passing great to him.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
So here's the thing, just to generalize, when we are
sloppy here, or anybody is sloppy or plays a little
sloppy in whatever they do, it's a sign of fatigue
and not being totally conditioned. So I wonder, do they
go back and do a bunch of conditioning drills when
they get back to practice so that they don't have

(28:27):
the mistakes that they had? I don't know. Maybe.

Speaker 12 (28:30):
The Rams were kind of sloppy, too, in Australia when
they played on, was it Thursday night?

Speaker 1 (28:37):
But it's the beginning of the season. I mean, you've
got to work out the kinks, you know? You've got
to get your footing right. Absolutely. We have a star
here in the back room. I don't know if you
recognize this person, but we have a very famous face
from the weekend. Our intern Bella was on the jumbo
screen at the Trojan game. Congratulations. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
I was so excited. I was like, it's my Pamela
Anderson moment.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
That's so funny.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Did you know when you were on the first second
or were you like the person that discovers it while
you're on the screen?

Speaker 9 (29:07):
No, I discovered it while I was on the screen
and I was the only one that noticed. And then
I got too excited. So I didn't record it.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
What did you do?

Speaker 5 (29:15):
I was just jumping up and down.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
It wasn't the kiss cam. It was just the excited cam, right?

Speaker 8 (29:20):
Oh my God, no.

Speaker 9 (29:21):
But I've been on the kiss cam before and I
had to reject someone. And it was the game that
LeBron James was at.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
You mean somebody wanted to kiss you, you didn't know?
Or somebody that you were with.

Speaker 5 (29:31):
Somebody I was with. It was my guy friend and
he had a crush on me.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
It was so awkward.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
They like kept it on us for like two minutes.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
It was so bad.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
I just want to hone in on the Pam Anderson
reference in case anybody didn't get it like me.

Speaker 10 (29:46):
Yeah, I didn't get it either.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
So she was discovered back in the 80s when she
appeared on a stadium jumbotron. But what I love about
what just happened is that I didn't get it. You
didn't get it. But we didn't want to ask the
question because we felt like we were dumb by not knowing.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
I was just thinking, like, did you, like, pretend to
run on the beach?

Speaker 1 (30:04):
So none of us knew what she was talking about.
None of us asked the question.

Speaker 10 (30:08):
Anything deep to it.

Speaker 11 (30:09):
I thought she was just like, I like Pamela Anderson
and I had like.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
It just goes to show you, I'm afraid to ask
certain questions where I think the obvious answer is obvious.
And so I didn't, but that's what it is. So
the final score, Bella. Oh, um, you don't even know.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
It was 49.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
The children's one.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yes, we did.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
Gaga had a baby over the weekend she did that's
exciting yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
That's all the info we have.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Yeah my note says no name no sex uh it's
been public etc.

Speaker 11 (30:46):
Yet i also think that there's a theory that they
just she didn't have it over the weekend but that
we found out about.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
It over the weekend oh god so the news broke
over yeah the weekend And Tanya brought her push cart
to the farmer's market. That's where, so she, instead of
having a purse or a bag these days, she's got
the basket you wheel around at the farmer's market to
buy berries. And she puts all of her stuff in there.
We can see everything she's got. And we just said,
take it to the right place, the market. And you did.

Speaker 11 (31:13):
I took it to the farmer's market. It thrived at.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
The farmer's market.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
That's where it belongs. Sure, it's where it belongs. Not
here where we can see all your belongings.

Speaker 10 (31:19):
But the farmer's market was very toasty yesterday.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Why do you have cream of mushroom soup in a
can in there? Is it for the evacuation in case
it happens?

Speaker 9 (31:29):
Maybe.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Perhaps.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
I think I see canned goods in there. Anyway. All right.
Welcome back. Seacrest with you. We're rolling on next Disneyland tickets.
You're on KISS. KISS FM. Good morning. We are back
at it this week.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Seacrest.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
This is Netanya in the back room. So we keep
hearing these stories and you see the video of Southern
California beaches disappearing. And it's forced the cancellation of that
big music festival we were kind of excited about in
Santa Monica.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Exactly.

Speaker 12 (31:57):
The Ocean Way Festival that was supposed to happen in
two weeks with the Killers, Olivia Dean and whatnot.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
They pulled the plug on that because there's no beach.
And they need a lot of beach for the staging
and all this setup. So what is happening in the night?
I took a deep dive to see, like, is there
a year? coming up, not immediately, but at some point
in the relatively near future where the beaches just might
be gone in some places.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
I don't know. It's kind of scary to think about.

Speaker 12 (32:24):
But yes, the powerful waves from Hurricane Marie have basically
eaten away huge sections of so many of these beaches.
And it's not just Santa Monica. It's Laguna Beach has
declared an emergency. Long Beach had homes evacuated. Malibu, as
we know, with the sinkhole in front of Nicolas Cage's driveway.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
And it's continuing to happen.

Speaker 12 (32:42):
It's going to probably continue to happen throughout the year
because it's the Nel Nino year.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Right.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
So if you look to the future from the research
that I did, more erosion will occur over the years.
In 2050, some of those beaches will be extremely narrow.
And then who's going to be around 2100? Is anybody
going to be here then? 2100 alive here? All of us. Okay,

(33:08):
probably not. Bella, will you live to 2100?

Speaker 5 (33:11):
I'm still trying to do the math in my brain.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Maybe my kids.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Well, maybe you will. So they say in 2100, 31%
to 67% of some of the beaches in Southern California
could be gone.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
It's so weird.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
But when you fly over, you know when you leave
LAX and you fly over, do you see how thin
some of those beaches are? Yeah. It doesn't look like
there's much beach there anyway yet at all.

Speaker 12 (33:37):
Some of these homes, they just bump up right to
like the oceans crashing onto your patio.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
On the stilts. Uh-huh. Bella, good news. You will be around.
You'll be 95.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (33:50):
I don't think I want to be alive.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
No, you definitely do. Because then you can report up
to heaven where we are to tell us about the beaches.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
It's going to be great.

Speaker 5 (33:57):
I'll have a seance.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
On Air with Ryan Seacrest. All right, it's Kiss FM.
Thanks for being here. Tanya with a trending report this hour.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Yep.

Speaker 11 (34:07):
So Sydney Sweeney is in hot water again over an
ad for a sports betting app. So she's not just
the face of this campaign either. She's actually an equity
partner in the company. But this ad shows that she's
pretty much naked with footballs, basketballs, hockey gear, strategically covering
her while she repeats the word sports over and over

(34:29):
and over again throughout the ad. Women in the sports
industry are saying that it's setting them back, saying that
this is exactly why women in sports aren't taken seriously.
There's now, I've just seen tons and tons, like my
algorithm is flooded with women athletes saying, Sydney Sweeney, this
is what women in sports looks like. And it's like
them like doing this crazy, you know, like jumping over those.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Performance. Hurdles. They're showing performance, right?

Speaker 11 (34:54):
And playing, you know, beach volleyball and, Sydney is defending it,
saying that the whole idea was about confidence, humor and
a playful edge and wanting to cut through the noise.
And she actually posted a lot of things on her
Instagram story over the weekend, like Serena Williams and Ronda
Rousey kind of posing in like provocative photos to just
kind of say she's not the first person to do this.

(35:15):
And like women in sports have also done this. And
I'm all about women doing what they want with their bodies.
But I do feel like this is a trigger for
women in sports because I do think in sports in particular,
there is, there is this narrative where they feel like
they have to, you know, work harder to be taken
seriously and they don't want to be sexualized. And so
I feel like it's like, it's hitting this, this string

(35:38):
with women athletes that I think is really rubbing them
the wrong way. Whereas like Sydney, she's an equity owner
in this company. So like this ad, obviously it's, it's
creating quite the buzz.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 12 (35:49):
Well, I think we're all talking about it, and it
created all the noise. Yeah, because I thought it was
really creative, and I watched the entire thing from start
to finish, and I was entertained the entire time, and
I was like, what is this?

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Oh, it's a sporting app.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
But you're right.

Speaker 6 (36:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
You're right, Tanya. I mean, women have fought for decades
to be known for performance, not appearance. And so that
is very true. But this is not like an NFL ad.
This is not a sports league ad. Right. This is
for betting.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Right.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
And I'm guessing they're targeting guys that are online betting.

Speaker 8 (36:26):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
And she owns part of the company. So she's going
to do whatever she thinks her strengths are to make
the money.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
I'm not mad at her. I was actually really impressed
with the ad.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
She looks fantastic.

Speaker 11 (36:37):
I'm not mad at her either because I do think
you're right.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Like it's working.

Speaker 10 (36:40):
It's creating all this noise.

Speaker 11 (36:41):
But then I do feel for the female athletes because
I just feel like they and not even just female
athletes like women in sports, people who are doing sports
reporting and, you know, take the time to really kind
of be wanting to.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
But she's not doing a sport. She's doing a. like
a gambling site. However, I will say, and Cicely, maybe
you are aligned. If I had the male version of
a body like that, right. You would see it everywhere.
I would put it everywhere.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
A hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
It would be on the kiss FM pays your bills
billboards on the one 10. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
And she does do that.

Speaker 11 (37:14):
She's done several other ads where she's in like lingerie
and it's for like lingerie and things like that, which
I I'm so with you on that.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
So I, I feel like.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
The, the, She's still with Scooter Braun.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Let's just cut to that.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
They're still together. She and Scooter Braun.

Speaker 11 (37:27):
Just her birthday over the weekend. There's the same birthday
as Scooter Braun's mom.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
I heard they're madly in love.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
How crazy is that?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
It's so crazy, but it must be a sign.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
$ 1, 000.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
