in the same style does not register. On my right
hair was like to my mid back.

let it go for four days plus all last week.

are the big headphones that I wanted to start wearing

Trees going up and there are big this year. There
is a winner, and the winner you can see if
you're commuting on the five. But the tallest ones one
is in South Coast Plase. You saw that one, right

Or ninety eight ninety eight. The Americana's got one hundred.
One hundred seems to be like the average heights of
those Christmas trees that are out in public. The Groves
got one hundred. But I think the Americana and the
Grove are the same company, so that would make sense.

And the first one was say one thing you admire
about your spouse, Like how easy is it?

and we don't tell each other how much we admire
and love each other, and then time to do if.

Sometimes you have to be intentional. You can't just let

words and your admiration and your love for your coworkers

A coach once said to me, Hey, Ry, maybe you're overtraining.
Maybe that's why you're not getting results. Maybe you're just
doing too much of it. Maybe you're just you're working
too you're not. You're not resting, you're not letting the

doing it? You're overtraining all this stuff that should be
natural in a relationship.

headphones in our ears for hours in the morning, sometimes

to not damage you're hearing after many years of this thing,
and that is, keep the volume under sixty percent and
listen for no more than sixty minutes. Well, hey, put
us on speaker, then put us on a smart device
after sixty minutes, because we like you to be here
for longer than that. But I don't know that I
ever listen to anything a't sixty volume?

I was thrilled to be asked and so excited to

Right on the Walk of Fame there in Hollywood, and
we I think we had our first major interview, major
conversation on KFM seventeen years ago.

It was almost twiles ago. Yeah, with the window and everything.
I'll never forget.

I drove up that morning. It was at the E
Building at the time. Tany were you you were there, right, Yeah? Okay.
Tanya Ellen was there just before Cisini started in the
morning show, and there were more screaming fans than I'd
ever seen before, and I thought, wow, our show has
gotten finally popular. You got you have.

Fans, Ryan, And No, it was that you had a
huge career. I'm pretty sure they were there for you too.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
No, it was. It was really impressive and amazing to
see the fans that they had already had. Obviously you
know that the Jonas brothers were massive back then. But
listen to this conversation that we had about your wife
danielleeventeen years ago. Listen to that who's Danielle? Kevin a
family friend from New Jersey? Like way back, how do
all these girls I walk outside and they're like, God,

Do you have friends that are of the opposite sex?

It was probably very trying on my relationship that I
responded that way. Honestly, thinking back on it, I apologize, Danielle.
You know what we we we stood the test of time.

Well, it's great to have you guys and see all
the success over the years. We just played Changing, which
is the soul song that is out circilling in the world.
Thank you everyone, our favorite moment debut right there. So
just tell me about the genesis of that track and
that song that we just heard the lyrics to.
Speaker 11 (17:13):
Yeah, so I played it for the first time live
at Family Park, which was of course, you know, it's
really jumping into the deep end, just like the way
the Jonas Brothers do it classic, you know, nothing bigger
than Femway Park and saying, hey, let me do this
for the first time here. But you know, a little
tequila and everything worked out. But before that, we finished filming.
We finished filming a Christmas movie up in Toronto, and
(17:33):
I won't get anything away, but there may or may
not be a thing where I sing in that movie too,
And so I called Jason Evigan, actually texted him and
was like, Hey, do you have any songs that you
might feel could work for me? Over the last twenty years,
I've worked on lots of music, wrote a bunch of songs,
recorded things, just never felt like it was like the
right thing. Now he does not respond to me. This
(17:54):
is February. He doesn't respond to me until June. He
responds with the song and says, I think I found it.
So timing is everything with this stuff. And the first
time I heard the song, I was just like, oh my.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
God, this is it. This is the one that's the
one I've been waiting for.
Speaker 11 (18:06):
And I flew to la almost like immediately within a
week and a half, and I cut it and that
was it.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I've had it since then. But like fifteen years, you've
been working on things, thinking about things, you know, almost
as long as I've known you. Guys, if it were
me trying to do something in that time, i'd push,
like I don't know that I'd have the patience and
discipline to wait for the right moment. How'd you do that?
I think it's all self self, you know, inflicted.
Speaker 11 (18:31):
You know, I think when you stand next to two
of the greatest vocalists that you know, and it can
be a little intimidating, to be completely honest with you,
but I just also felt like I didn't have the
right song. I felt like it was like one was
trying to say the wrong things, one was trying too hard.
Did that really sound like something I'd want to release, Well,
this one did, and that's when, Yeah, I played it.
(18:52):
I played it for Tanya. I played it for Tanya
at the show in LA before it came out, and
so I've had it for quite some time.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
The crowd when he performs it live during these shows,
it's like you've never heard screams like this before. Like
everybody's been waiting for this, and like everybody's just so
happy and excited for you.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
It's like so.
Speaker 11 (19:12):
Cool to see thank you so much. Well, you know,
it's it's been a long time coming. But I'm just
happy that people are responding to it, and you know,
there's more. Just got to figure out what to do
with it and when as long as it's not another
twenty years, then I'm doing better than I can.

Yeah, no doubt, I mean it is. It's so great
that you guys have all done your solo things now
and you can also balance the franchise that people expect
and want. It seems like that's like the perfect balance
is getting together as brothers and then also being able
to be creative and do your thing.
Speaker 11 (19:40):
I think that that's what's so unique about our our
band and our as you know who we are.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
It's not just the one lane that we stay in.
Speaker 11 (19:47):
I think, you know, Nick just introduced in the debut
that he's, you know, launching a new album to coming
out February sixth, and you know, it's incredible. He played
a bunch of stuff at this thing he did in
Las Vegas and it's it. And then Joe's got stuff
that he's doing now. He might be doing some or
DNC stuff, like there's just no stopping like the solo thing.
And then we come back together for the Mothership and
it's great.

There's only one group of people that could bring peace
on earth, and I think it is the Jonas brothers
I have. I have yet to be asked to go
to the un so we'll see it. Well. I'm just
thinking like, if you can think about the Love and
Joy and the beautiful movie, the Christmas movie that you
put out to on Disney Plus that made our season,
(20:26):
if you will. I cannot believe the response to this film.
Speaker 11 (20:29):
You know, it's a bit a bucket list, the item
of ours to do a Christmas film forever.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Like when we were kids back in the Disney days.
We were like, yes, let's what you know. We met
with the team and they're like, what do you guys
want to do? And we have the TV show and
the camp Brock at the time.
Speaker 11 (20:39):
They're like, we want to do a Christmas film and
obviously it like a holiday film and it didn't work
out then, but it kind of worked out perfectly now.
I think it's so much better now with our families
and just where we are on our lives, and the
response is incredible. And if you haven't watched it yet,
it's perfect time now to check it out. So make
sure make sure you do it now. What will happen
Christmas Day? Will everybody be apart? What will you guys do?

So I'm were we built a new house this year,
so me and Danielle are going to be at home
with the girls and like her side of the family
for the most part, at our home there the guys.
We literally wrapped the tour on the twenty second and
then we'll get a show. We have shows at the
hard Rock in Miami, of course in you know, on
New Year's which is gonna be great. But but we
wrap on the twenty second. So we've seen each other

like every day all the way.

So I'm I think we're all gonna like kind of

Well, Ryan, the weakness is that we're always learning and

in love. So that's how I like to live. And
you got to love. You gotta love them all, you know,
as much as you can. And and I think that's

just how my wife and I raise our family, just
trying to lead with love. They're all different, they all
have their their personalities and their their challenges, and they're
different age groups. I mean, there are different stages of
development in their life too, so we're we're learning as
they go and as they grow.

tequila and everything worked out. But before that, we finished filming.
We finished filming a Christmas movie up in Toronto, and

I won't get anything away, but there may or may
not be a thing where I sing in that movie too,
And so I called Jason Evigan, actually texted him and
was like, Hey, do you have any songs that you
might feel could work for me? Over the last twenty years,
I've worked on lots of music, wrote a bunch of songs,
recorded things, just never felt like it was like the
right thing. Now he does not respond to me. This

is February. He doesn't respond to me until June. He
responds with the song and says, I think I found it.
So timing is everything with this stuff. And the first
time I heard the song, I was just like, oh my.

God, this is it. This is the one that's the
one I've been waiting for.

And I flew to la almost like immediately within a
week and a half, and I cut it and that
was it.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I've had it since then. But like fifteen years, you've
been working on things, thinking about things, you know, almost
as long as I've known you. Guys, if it were
me trying to do something in that time, i'd push,
like I don't know that I'd have the patience and
discipline to wait for the right moment. How'd you do that?
I think it's all self self, you know, inflicted.

You know, I think when you stand next to two
of the greatest vocalists that you know, and it can
be a little intimidating, to be completely honest with you,
but I just also felt like I didn't have the
right song. I felt like it was like one was
trying to say the wrong things, one was trying too hard.
Did that really sound like something I'd want to release, Well,
this one did, and that's when, Yeah, I played it.

I played it for Tanya. I played it for Tanya
at the show in LA before it came out, and
so I've had it for quite some time.

Daniel politely asked if he could share Jonathan's process with
the group, and this is what he's had to share, Donathan.

Yeah, so you will suddenly like a bunch of different
group threads that I'm.

You take text like as if you're corresponding.

He goes to a diner and does all his text job.

I love it.

So they're saying like they're in like multiple group text
with him, and then one day a week they just
the group chat just gets.

Being with his responses.

And then Andy Cohne went on to ask him do
people that you're dating get the same response, and he
replied no, so he does answer people that he's dating
more in like a prompt manner.

But they got a lot of praise from the group.

Everybody was like saying, this is such a great prises,
and you know what, it made me actually think that
your process might be the right way to do it,
because sometimes if we get a text message during the
show or no, not even at the moment, I'll see it,
I won't respond because I can't in the moment, and
then I'll forget to respond to it. Whereas if you're

like you and Jonathan, you sit down intentionally to respond
to all of your sex message.

I haven't done what Jonathan does yet. I like it, Jonathan,
I'm very excited to do it. However, Jonathan, if you
want to hear what I discovered over the holidays, I
believe Mark can tell you. But I found this amazing
option inside shortcuts inside the iPhone, and you can write
an auto reply to text that immediately pings someone back

and says sorry, I'm not I'm not looking at this

You sent me a nice Thanksgiving note and I wrote

in shortcuts? Send out Thanksgiving text you can type in
an auto reply, bro, it is amazing. Now I didn't

I can say delay response for two minutes. Auto reply. No,
it's too it's really fast. But did you not like
my my tailored auto reply mar give it another reading?

So it's like an out of office for your texts texts.

I was sitting around the day before Thanksgiving or two,
and I'm like, why is there no auto out of
office reply for text Well, wouldn't you know, Chad GPT says, hey,
r hey, buddy, go into your shortcuts of the iPhone.
Well it took me a few rounds, but I got
there and I figured it out, and I tied my
own auto reply. So come December nineteenth, twenties, whatever it is,

I'm auto replying until the twenty seventh. WHOA, that'll change
it up.

I consider you'd always be in like an auto respond
to you when I get to you type of vibe.

The boys are super supportive. They think their their sisters

the boy dadding or the both dadding? Do you have
a strength or a weakness?

Well, Ryan, the weakness is that we're always learning and
that we're always growing, and that we're always challenged, particularly
by our kids. It's with it's with love. I'm actually
drinking a coffee cup right now. This is do everything
in love. So that's how I like to live. And
you got to love. You gotta love them all, you know,
as much as you can. And and I think that's

just how my wife and I raise our family, just
trying to lead with love. They're all different, they all
have their their personalities and their their challenges, and they're
different age groups. I mean, there are different stages of
development in their life too, so we're we're learning as
they go and as they grow.
