Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Thank you for listening to us.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Seacrest.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
On air, on air, on.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Kiss. Give me everything. Good morning. Sisney, Tanya, the back room.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
We're here.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
We've got Jen. We've got Ruby. We've got intern Bella.
We've got Michaela. It is an abundance of female power.
What can I learn this morning? I could learn so
much from all of y'all.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
God, I'm so excited to learn something today. It's the
best part about this. Always insights from you. You know,
I was thinking about what should today, what should we bring?
What should you bring to today? And that is something positive.
And it's kind of distilled down to, you know, like

(00:49):
I do really enjoy, I'm curious. I do like to
talk to strangers. I will see somebody in a store.
I'll ask him questions. I'll see somebody in the Uber,
the driver. I'll ask him questions. I will talk to anybody, really,
and ask them questions. And I got to thinking that
maybe what I should do and what we should do

(01:12):
to frame that up is be curious, but also be
the reason why. Be the reason why today somebody has
a better day. Compliment them. Show interest in them. Because
you don't know what they're going through, but you could
be the reason that they have a better day.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Or it turns it around for them.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
It could be a simple thing of just listening, showing interest,
asking about their complimenting them, whatever it is. We could
really be the reason someone's day is better. So start
Sisney with you to me.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
That's a good, I like that feeling of like making
somebody else.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Be the reason that they're going to have a better day.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I love your hair today, Ryan.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Do you?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I really do.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
It's up. Me too.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
It's bouncy. It's full of energy.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
It's volumey.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Because I'm in the Burr months. I changed my hair
for the Burr months.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
You can feel it.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
It's very, you're giving very yoga, yogi this morning.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Well, I've been doing it for what?

Speaker 6 (02:11):
I know.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I can tell.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Two weeks now.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
My breathing.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
So now, Tanya, give Sisney, make her day better. Be
the reason.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Sisney.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
The way she just looked at me.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Um, I love the way that you come in and
I can tell you everything and that I always feel
like you have my back.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 7 (02:36):
It's not supposed to be so heavy, but, but you
get it.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I get it.

Speaker 8 (02:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
You probably don't get it, but I get what she's
telling me.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Like if you stop at Chipotle today and you order
your food or Jersey Mike's where Jordan works, ask Jordan
the question. Make her day better. Be the reason she
has a better day.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
That's my thought for the day.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Now you to Tanya.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Well, I want it to come organically later in the show.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
You can't do that.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It's contrived if I do it now.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
You made us do it.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yeah, because you didn't know it was coming. I know
it was coming. I want it to be natural.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
You watch.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Stick around for four hours. You'll see. Interesting. You wake
up in the morning. Sometimes you have to get your labs,
your blood work, right? You can't have your coffee. You
get your blood work done. Sometimes you take a survey
or you study for a test. But of all of
us here, who do you think this morning, and think

(03:34):
about all the players here, who do you think this
morning took a pregnancy test? It was not me. Was
it you, Ruby?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
No.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Was it you, Tanya?

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
No, but I've taken about 100 in the last.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Well, then why did... It was you, Sissany?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
It was me.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Why did you take the test this morning?

Speaker 9 (04:00):
Because there's some weird stuff happening in my life right now.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
And I.

Speaker 9 (04:05):
First of all, it would be the craziest miracle of
miracles if I was pregnant.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I have an IUD.

Speaker 9 (04:11):
And if you don't know what that is, that is basically.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Permanent birth control. They say it's 99, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9,
but I don't trust that little one. That's basically 100.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
You know what I mean? That's the thing. It would
be crazy if I was.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
But.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
I.

Speaker 9 (04:24):
Was experiencing symptoms that have not gone away for the
last few days. And I was like, the only thing,
you know, I'll just tell you exactly what's going on.
The only time my boobs have ever been like, like
hurt or feel sore is when I'm pregnant. And I
haven't felt that in like five years. And so all
of a sudden my boobs were all sore. I'm like,
oh my gosh, could I, could I be, and I
don't really track my period because it's always all regular.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
So I was like, I need to find out.

Speaker 9 (04:48):
I couldn't go on with my day to day without
Instacarting a pregnancy test in my house this morning to
take it, which told me I am not pregnant.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Girl, you could have called me.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
I've got 500 of those bad boys. Can you believe
the one? I, I, I'm believing it.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Yes.

Speaker 9 (05:05):
It'd be really weird if I was, then there's like
the 0.001% chance.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Like no way.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
They're very accurate. These tests.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
It's interesting that you say that this morning. Cause a
couple of days ago, my guy, your guy, my guy,
my doctor.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
He's like, I never really asked you about this, but
we plan on having kids someday. You and everybody else
asking me this. He goes, you know, you should probably
come check it all out and see if it's all there.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
You know what I'm saying? I know.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah. I know the process of that.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
It's not intimate. It's just like going somewhere so that
can be tested.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
That's what I'm saying. You have to like perform the act.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I don't want to go into a parking garage, go
in an elevator up to the fifth floor of a
medical building and then perform.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
It's what you have to do.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
But do I or should I just not?

Speaker 5 (06:09):
I think, well, it's if you want, do you want children?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Well, we didn't get that far, but I did think
it was interesting to go check potency. It's up to you.

Speaker 9 (06:20):
It's what your heart tells you. Just like my heart
told me, you know what, just take the test just
to really rule this out.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
I think you should go test it because you know what,
it's a lot on the woman. The woman's going to
have to go do all types of things, take all
types of things.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
The least you could do is get your stuff checked, okay?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
I was going to be the reason you're going to
have a good day today. I was going to compliment you,
but that was so harsh and personal and direct.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
It's very nice to whomever you are sharing life with.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
It's not the The concept, it's the execution that I
am very concerned about.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
I have faith in you.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
I don't know that I have faith in me.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I don't know that I could do it if I
were you.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
That's what I'm saying. I'm going to grow to Westwood.
I'm going to park on P3. I'm going to go
up and say hi to somebody and then go where?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Can you just do it at home and bring it in?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
No, I don't think you can. I don't think you can.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
That's like sterile.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Mark, you probably know.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I do, but I don't know that we should discuss
any further.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
No, we should not. I didn't bring this up. They
brought this up. You brought up a pregnancy test.

Speaker 9 (07:23):
You didn't have to tell us about your guy.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Why would I not share my guy?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Now we're down this path.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
This is a very normal thing. It's the execution I'm
worried about. Okay, so Ruby has a question. Go ahead.

Speaker 10 (07:37):
Yeah, so I've been doing something probably since I got
my driver's license. And the other day I did it
and I was like, wait, is this legal or not?
I've basically been used to cutting through gas stations if
I'm waiting to make a right turn.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
It's not legal.

Speaker 10 (07:54):
Rude.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Rude.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I'm so mindful, though.

Speaker 8 (07:57):
I look around.

Speaker 10 (07:58):
I make sure it's not super busy. I make sure
that the gas station is not jam-packed. And then I
gently make my way through the parking lot and just
turn right.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
But do you pretend? Because when we had studios on
the other side of the hill for a while, there
was a gas station that was a cut-through. And I
pretended to pull up to a tank and then acted like, oh,
I forgot my credit card and drove away.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Oh, wow. And cut through.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah, the whole charade.

Speaker 10 (08:24):
No, I don't pretend because the whole point is to
be efficient and to be fast.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
So I just am like, okay, just don't mind me.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Make my way.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
It's something we all do, but the crime is evading
a traffic control device. So you're basically trying to, you're
doing a work, you're trying to not... engage in that
traffic control device and they could ticket you for that.
Plus the gas station, not going to be happy about
a cut throughs. It's like cut throughs in the neighborhoods.

(08:52):
I mean, now with Waze, it's everywhere. Remember back in
the day before Waze, people would cut through your neighborhood.
They'd speed through your neighborhood and it would really make
you upset. Now, everybody cuts through everything.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
I don't think you can do the gas station though.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Well, I did a Taco Bell.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Did you actually stop and get food though?

Speaker 4 (09:11):
No.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
No, I stopped. I looked at the menu. I had
to go to the bathroom. So I stopped. I went in.
I was like, can I get a minute to think
about it? Then I went to the bathroom. Then I
went out the back.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
We've all done it. I really play it out.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
I really play it out to the detail.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, I feel you though.

Speaker 9 (09:31):
I did that once in the carpool lane because I
didn't have people in my car and I was late.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Somewhere and it was an emergency. That's bad.

Speaker 9 (09:38):
I pretended that there was people in my car. I mean,
I was like talking like this and just making it
seem like somebody.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Drove by and saw me. At least they saw me
talking to the.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Back row to no one in your backseat. Just gesturing.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
It was an emergency.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
I don't do it all the time.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
I just do it at one time. That's the greatest
violation of all of these that we're talking about.

Speaker 9 (09:59):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
And I haven't done it since. Now there's always people
in my car.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
It's Kiss FM. So I don't know if you have cockroaches,
but everybody does. You know what they love? Cardboard.

Speaker 10 (10:09):
Ew.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Cockroaches can eat it. They get to it. They leave
pheromones in it. They basically... Love cardboard. So if you
got that lying around, they're coming for that. Just be
aware that that's feeding the cockroaches. Gross.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
What about boxes in your garage?

Speaker 5 (10:29):
That's the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
Amazon packages that you just let sit at your front door.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Cardboard.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
They love cardboard.

Speaker 10 (10:37):
Ew.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Today's quote, there is a future version of you absolutely
begging you to enjoy where you are right now. Stop.
Enjoy it. Be the reason. All right, Libby Dean there.
After seven, we are a week and a half into
the fall semester at USC. Our intern, Bella, has got
a major complaint about her fellow Trojans. Look out. Be

(11:01):
careful going back to campus after this. For Sissany, the headlines.
Kiss FM headlines with Sissany. Well, L.A.

Speaker 9 (11:08):
County officials are watching a storm that could bring flooding
and debris flows near recent burn scars this Labor Day weekend.
A preliminary 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck near the city of
Ontario this morning, 5.37 a.m.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Did you feel it?

Speaker 9 (11:23):
It was felt as far away as Irvine, Riverside, and
West Covina. Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a brush
fire that burned yesterday afternoon near the Palmdale area. And
Miley Cyrus will make her Hollywood Bowl debut October 16th
and 18th.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
2.7.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Kiss FM. All right, let's get into this. Then I'll
give away these Jonas Brothers tickets for the hour. So Bella,
final year USC interning here. And you have a gripe
about your fellow Trojans. What is it?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
All the men wear flip-flops to class.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Ew.

Speaker 9 (11:57):
This is only acceptable if you go to like a
beach school, not downtown LA.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Honestly, not even.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
It is so gross.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
San Diego State, it was like a staple. There was
flip-flops everywhere in San Diego.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Flip-flops at the beach.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
But it's hot downtown right now.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
No.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
That's comfortable.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Here's my issue.

Speaker 9 (12:14):
They will ride their skateboard, and it picks up dirt
when they're pedaling, and then they show up to class
with dirty feet.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Ew.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
And I have to look at the feet. I don't
have to look at it, but I can see it
when I'm in class.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
But this is a double standard. You guys wear those open-toed,
basically flip-flop shoes all the time.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
But my feet are clean. Yeah, that's true. And I'm
not skateboarding around campus.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Well, get a skateboard and have some fun.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
And the guy's feet are like hairy.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
Hairy.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
And like they don't really trim their nails.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Well, listen, because two weeks ago I started to do
this yoga stuff that everybody says I should do. I
started looking at all the yoga instructors' toes. And? And
the colors they paint their toes. And they're really good,
their toes. And so I went and I cleaned my
toes so that when I do my upside down dog

(13:09):
i have good toes because i feel like they're looking
at your toes right to see.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah you're being toe shamed i i'm i.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
I get the the not clean shoes but come on
85 on campus you don't want to wrap those puppies
up with socks and a boot.

Speaker 9 (13:27):
Wrap those puppies up baby it's like wearing flip-flops to
the airport you just don't do it what are the.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Bruins doing Are they wearing flip-flops? Right? Let's go around.
What are the campuses doing? What's Santa Monica doing? What
are they doing in Pasadena?

Speaker 9 (13:39):
I feel like that's more acceptable for UCLA because you're
closer to the ocean.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah, right? It's okay if you're inland. It's still not okay.
If you're downtown, you're so far inland, you've got to
cover up.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Downtown, you cannot. It's not okay.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Santa Monica Community College, you guys can go barefoot then.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Flop around.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Pepperdine?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Oh, forget about it. Don't even put a shirt on.
We've got Jonas Brothers tickets next. All right, Tanya, with
your trending report.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
So Nicole Kidman sat down with Sandra Bullock to promote
Practical Magic 2.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
And Nicole started talking.

Speaker 9 (14:08):
About real spells that her family uses, mostly love spells.
And then she dropped this one.

Speaker 6 (14:20):
If I'm a little upset with someone, I'll write their
name and put it in the freezer. So she's dead serious, too. Apparently,
this is a family tradition. Her late mother used to
keep her own list of names tucked away in the
ice cube tray. Sandy Bullock questioned her on it on camera.
She was like, wait, is this permanent? Nicole clarified. She said, no,
people can come out of the freezer. So there's a

(14:41):
path back to her good graces. But this is kind
of genius. It's a little bit petty, but it's also harmless.
And I feel like it probably feels very satisfying in
the moment to do. And so I'm absolutely going to
use this Nicole Kidman ritual.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Does anybody have a ritual like this that's different but
for this very reason? What's your weird ritual?

Speaker 5 (15:04):
I used to burn things.

Speaker 6 (15:06):
If things were really bothering me, I would write them
down on a piece of paper and I would light
them on fire just to kind of release them.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
But I've never done this freezer. This freezer is.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Very interesting to me.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
I wonder how packed her freezer is. Or crowded.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
And what happens to the person?

Speaker 5 (15:24):
You freeze them out. So then their energy cannot harm you.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Got it.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
So I think I have a version of that that
I would do. I would write their name down and
put it in my shoe and just walk all over it.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Oh, that's kind of fun.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Right?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I mean, I think yours is dangerous lighting a fire tonic.
I would not do that. I'd recommend the freezer or
putting it inside your soul.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
No, I don't just willy-nilly. I put it in a
contained tin. It's not like I'm just.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
But do you get a permit? No.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Well, you're breaking the rules just like Ruby cutting through
the gas station.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
It's not about me right now.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
No, it's not. But I like the idea of something
like this.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
I think it's actually....

Speaker 9 (16:04):
Freeing right yeah cleanses the bad energy from your life.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Nicole kidman is the best she's in everything everything everything
yeah if it.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
Works for nicole kidman i am gonna try it all right.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Coming up next i got tame and paula and jenny
i'll play a game for some halloween hard nights tickets
i got christina on the line in stanton she's gonna
play for some halloween hard night tickets good morning christina
how are you in la this morning hi i'm good Good.
So I got a four-packet tickets for you to win.
We're going to play a brand-new game called... How Long

(16:37):
is the Wait? Okay, so we have analyzed the wait
time data over the last six years at Universal Studios.
Took me four days. I'll give you an attraction. You
tell me if the wait time on September 4th is
historically longer or shorter than 45 minutes.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
You ready?

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Got to get three right before you get three wrong.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
The first one. The Simpsons ride... On September 4th, historically
longer or shorter than 45 minutes? Shorter. It's longer. 52 minutes,
30 seconds.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
That's so close.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Okay, next one. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Longer
or shorter than 45 minutes?

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Longer.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
It's shorter.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
That's 29 minutes and 12 seconds.

Speaker 5 (17:35):
Oh, that's nothing.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Didn't everybody be in school at that time, September 4th?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah, I'm with you. All right, well, okay, got to
get this one to stay in it. Mario Kart, Bowser's Challenge.
Is that longer or shorter than 45 minutes, average September 4th?

Speaker 4 (17:53):
That one's definitely longer.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
It is definitely longer, 47, 48.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Now, because I'm out of these, this is for the win. Okay.
I don't have any more left. The studio tour at
Universal Studios, the game is called How Long is the Wait?
Is the studio tour historically longer or shorter than 45
minutes on September 4th?

Speaker 4 (18:20):
I believe that one's shorter because there's that long bus
that takes everybody.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Yes, you are correct.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Congratulations.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
You came back and you won.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
You're going to go experience all the lines or no lines, okay?

Speaker 5 (18:34):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Well, thank you for listening.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
What do you want to do today? I'm at work
right now.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
What do you do for work?

Speaker 4 (18:40):
I'm trying to hide. I work at a grocery store.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Oh, do we know it? Vons.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Yeah, we do know.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Yeah, well, we definitely know it. Thank you very much
for listening to us.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
I'm trying to hide from my boss right now.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
All right, thank you. Don't tell Vaughn.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
We have more tickets coming up every hour.

Speaker 9 (18:59):
On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Are you hinging? So there's a new feature on Hinge. Michaela,
what's the feature?

Speaker 8 (19:08):
So it's called Friends Take, and it allows your friends
to answer prompts directly on your profile to describe you.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
For example, if it were one of us, what would
we answer?

Speaker 8 (19:19):
So I don't get to see the prompts. So your
friends get to see them, but I did see one
on Hinge, and one was basically something you can count
on them for.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Oh, great.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
You get to pick out of questions like that.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
So you want me to answer something?

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (19:35):
I wanted to see if you'd be open to it.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I'm totally open to it. How could it help?

Speaker 8 (19:41):
I just think that my Hinge profile might be lacking.
Maybe this is why, you know, I haven't gotten that
much interest. So maybe this will find someone interested more.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Interested in me.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Putting in a good word for you.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
I don't think Ryan's a good call for that.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
We can have more than one.

Speaker 8 (19:56):
So you can ask all of us, you guys for
other friends.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
Other guys don't want to see a dude endorse you.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
I think they do.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
I don't think they do.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
If a dude blesses this, Could be a good thing.
And why am I not qualified for this?

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Yeah, why is he not qualified?

Speaker 5 (20:15):
It's not about you. Don't take it personal. It's not
about you.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
He's chewing his pen right now.

Speaker 6 (20:21):
If Michaela's like, these guys are seeing her profile and
they see another guy giving her all these compliments. The
guys are going to be like, so why isn't she
dating this guy?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Well, can't I say it's me from work? Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
So you're single. She's single.

Speaker 9 (20:34):
Why?

Speaker 5 (20:34):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Like it's not, it's, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I think if I say I'm Ryan from kiss, people
understand we work together. I'm down. How do I know
what the prompt is going to be? I want to
know the prompt.

Speaker 8 (20:44):
So I have to send you a link and then
you go from there.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Does it mean that I have to be on hinge?

Speaker 5 (20:52):
I don't think so, no.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Okay. Well, as soon as you send me the link,
I'll do the prompt, and we'll get back to you.
And then will people see it?

Speaker 8 (20:59):
Yeah, they'll hear it on my profile.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Oh, it's a voice? It's a voice note.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Oh, my gosh. Even better.

Speaker 6 (21:07):
This is a bad idea.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
So let me tell you, how long can I go?
Is there a time limit?

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
I'm sure there is, but I don't know. Oh, I
can't wait for this.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
To the interested party here, hi. My name is Ryan.
I have worked with Michaela for eight, nine years now.
Matter of fact, I've met her mom twice. She came
to see the wheel of fortune show. And let me
tell you, let me tell you about why I think
Michaela is a great partner. And then I'll do the

(21:39):
whole thing.

Speaker 8 (21:39):
I love this.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Oh, I'm excited that it's a voice note. I didn't
know that. I didn't either. Actually, this, what if it works?
What if, It works, and I break the ceiling on
all this.

Speaker 8 (21:53):
Hey, you'd really have to officiate the wedding.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Oh, God.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
I have so many weddings to officiate. What's the one
I have to do?

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Phineas?

Speaker 5 (22:04):
No, Billie Eilish did that one.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Oh, Billie Eilish.

Speaker 9 (22:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
I was at the skateboard park over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
You were?

Speaker 7 (22:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Which one?

Speaker 2 (22:13):
The one down in the South Bay.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Oh, South Bay.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Yeah, the Venice Beach. You know, I ride my bike
down there.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
And I saw these guys skateboarding.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
I cannot imagine you at.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
The Venice skate park. I took my two-wheeled bike up
and down the humps and the things. I didn't do
a skateboard. I took my bike on it, which was challenging.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Yeah, I'm surprised you could do that.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
It's hard. And you almost bottom out when you get
to some of the tops. But I tried to do
it because I thought, well, if I'm ever going to
skateboard in these parks, let me try with my two-wheeled
bicycle first. I got some looks. So the reason I
bring this up is that in the news this week,
there's a company that is developing something called the Air Skateboard,

(22:57):
which you will be able to potentially, if it's all approved,
fly over L.A.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (23:02):
You stand on this platform, you hit a button, you
take off and then use a control stick to fly it.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
But you don't need a flying license or certificate or
certification for it.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
No, there's no cockpit.

Speaker 9 (23:14):
It just it only takes about 10 minutes to learn
because an AI system automatically keeps you balanced while you're
up standing on this drone looking giant thing.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
But picture yourself.

Speaker 9 (23:25):
Flying over the 405 or the 101 and not sitting
in traffic.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
This could be the future, guys.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
I doubt it. I don't think we're going to see
a bunch of random people on skateboards flying over the freeway.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
And what happens if a bee comes at you and
you step one foot to the left and you fall
off this skateboard onto the 405 freeway?

Speaker 2 (23:42):
There's the question.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
I don't think you're going to step off.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Well, if you fall off the skateboard, you not only
are going to hurt yourself, but whatever's under you, whoever's
under you.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
I think you're strapped in so that you don't fall off.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Well, then what if the thing falls, the whole thing
falls on me?

Speaker 9 (23:58):
Listen, the FAA is already working on bringing electric air taxis.
That is definitely going to be a thing for the
2028 Olympics or whatever.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
That's much more organized than a dude on a skateboard
with these engines underneath. I don't see this happening. Never
say never. I don't see it.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
You never know.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
And it's not for me.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
It's not for me.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
I'll sit in traffic.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
I would try it.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Well, you dancing with the stars, going to the moon.
Good luck with all this. Yes, let me grab Emily
this morning. Emily's in Pasadena. Thanks for being here. How
are you, Emily?

Speaker 4 (24:32):
I'm good.

Speaker 9 (24:33):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Good.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
So your coworker is making your life miserable. Tell me.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Yeah, I have a coworker. She constantly criticizes my work.
corrects me in front of other people, just like picks
apart anything I do and always in front of other coworkers.
Like if I'm giving a presentation, she interrupts or will
point out little mistakes and, you know, make me feel

(25:01):
like I don't know what I'm doing. It makes me
question myself. And, you know, the thing is like, I
love my job. It's my dream job. And I've thought
about going to my boss, but I'm worried that, you know,
that does that make me look like I can't handle criticism? Um, and,
you know, thought about confronting her directly. And, but like,

(25:22):
I already like feel like I know what she's going
to say. Um, it kind of played dumb and be like,
I have no idea what you're talking about. Like, I'm
just trying to help you, um, kind of gaslighting. And,
you know, I've been dealing with it for over a
year and I'm just at the point where like, I
tried going to work. I tried going to work with her. Um,
how do I deal with someone like this when I

(25:44):
don't want to quit? Like, I don't, trust that confronting
her will change things. And I don't want to like
make myself look bad and become like the complainer in
the office, you know? I, it's such a, I don't
like the situation.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
I mean, the one, the first, the first simple but
difficult thought I have is we cannot let someone else
have the power to make us miserable. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:09):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Because the first victim of misery is you.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
So we cannot let them get to us. However, I
know it's irritating and agitating every single day.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
It's hard to go in. I know what you can do.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
You can cast a spell on her and freeze her out.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Excellent idea, Sissany.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
It's not an excellent idea. Yes, it is. It's not
going to work.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Emily, you should just try it.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
What's the harm?

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Why?

Speaker 2 (26:41):
I think there is an approach to go to your
manager or your boss that is considerate, thoughtful, not accusatory,
but allows you to address this so that it gets fixed.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Just approaching him honestly.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Yes, because it's affecting your work. And at the end
of the day, that's affecting your boss's work. And you
don't need to. This is not personal. This is something
that is not, you don't make it about the person
and the personality and the personal part of it.

Speaker 6 (27:15):
But your boss has so many other things that they're
having to deal with. Like they can't deal with this.
And I just feel like this is a step in
life because you're going to encounter people in your life
that are in your life, no matter what, that bother you,
upset you, hurt you. And you have to figure out
how to within yourself, not let it impact you. So

(27:37):
this is a good practice to, For the rest of
your life.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Either make the choice that this person cannot have the
power to make you miserable or just go to your
boss and just do it in the finessed right way.
Good luck.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Good luck.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Are you going to anybody ever here make you miserable?

Speaker 3 (27:54):
No.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Not in this room. Yeah, not in this room.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
In the back room?

Speaker 5 (28:00):
There has been some.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
No, not in the back room.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
Not our team. Not our team is what I'm trying
to say.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Can't let other people... Affect your mood.

Speaker 9 (28:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
They can't take charge of your mood. You got to
choose not to let them do that.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Coming up next, I'm going to play back the winning
talk back for the BTS tickets. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
Nice kiss FM.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Olivia Dean, man.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I need here's Ronnie. Wow. People are blown away by
his presence out all over Southern California, giving away free gas.
They're honking. They're asking, where's Ronnie going to be next?
We don't know. We decided at the last minute, Ronnie's
been in charge of our digital department for a long time. But,
you know, he's a sweet guy, nice guy, works hard,

(28:47):
has a very good spirit. But when he leaves, he's
being terrorized by a four-legged creature. What happened, Ronnie?

Speaker 3 (28:55):
You guys, this is no joke.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
And when you say it like that, it kind of
sounds funny, but this squirrel really has been terrorizing me. Like,
I'm not joking. So the other day, I'm going to
have lunch. And there's a, you know, the restaurant right
here in our building. Walking, walking, walking. Get my little food.
I'm coming back. It's not even 10 feet away. And
this squirrel jumped out of the bush. So immediately I freeze.

(29:19):
Because I'm afraid of animals, really. You're afraid of animals?

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Yes. You don't like pets?

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Yeah, I'm afraid of all animals.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Really?

Speaker 3 (29:27):
You know, you guys have dogs I like. Okay.

Speaker 7 (29:30):
Other animals, I'm just terrified of. And the squirrel jumped
out of the bush and I freeze. And then it
looked like it was about to run up my body.
So then I start running. I've never seen a squirrel.
do this before it chased me all the way back
so i throw my food at it you throw your
food yes because i'm like i don't know what you
want for me through the food through it fully dropped
my food i didn't i didn't care about it what

(29:52):
a bummer and it did not care about my food
it kept running after me so i was like oh
my god i'm screaming in the courtyard All these people
are there, like, enjoying their lunch, thinking I'm crazy. Because
you can even see this little squirrel on the floor.
And I'm sprinting, screaming my head off. And this squirrel
has harassed me for days now. And it's become a
real problem. So how tall are you?

Speaker 3 (30:12):
I'm 6'1.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
And is the squirrel the size of a shoe?

Speaker 3 (30:16):
You know, I can't even compare. It's small.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
It is small. And by the way, throwing food at
the squirrel is like, A party invitation. That's like the
squirrel going, oh my gosh, I'm going to get more
things thrown at me if I keep following this guy. Ronnie.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
No, but I've seen this squirrel and it does one,
the same one. It must be because he looks angry.
Like he looks agitated and angry.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
The squirrel is a menace and it's the same one. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
It's only one in our courtyard. You don't know what
the squirrel's been through. Oh, here we go.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
The squirrel advocate over here. Ryan's been doing yoga.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
So now he's like in touch with the animals.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
But we don't know. I don't know what Ronnie's going through.
I don't have the privilege of understanding how the squirrel
was raised and And what the squirrel's parents did to
the squirrel when the squirrel was a little squirrel. And so,
and the squirrel probably has a motorcycle down there to
cruise around. I mean, probably got like a little house
down there. But Ronnie, I'm more interested in going back.
And I'm sorry that the squirrel with the claws are

(31:14):
coming after you. But why a fear of animals?

Speaker 7 (31:19):
I don't know. Like, I just don't. I don't understand
them and they're unpredictable and they can't speak. So I
don't know what you want from me. Like with the squirrel,
why are you running after me?

Speaker 3 (31:27):
What do you want? That's why I threw my food.
So I don't know why I'm afraid of animals. They're
just are.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
Well, and we have to deal with the coyotes in
our plaza.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Yes. And I hope the coyote and the squirrel meet.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
No, my sister needs, my sister needs someone to watch
her ferret.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Are you open to that? Oh, I could never like,
I am terrified.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
I don't know that I've ever met anybody afraid of
all animals.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Yeah, even fish.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
What is a fish going to do to you?

Speaker 7 (31:53):
Well, when I'm in the ocean, I don't like when
they touch my feet, so it's like I can't enjoy
myself comfortably.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
The stingrays and the rattlesnakes don't even get near the
ocean right now.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Yeah, but even like pet fish, I just.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Pet fish? Gerbils, squirrels, all of them.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Yeah, all of it. All of it, all of it.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
All right, Tubbs, can you come here for a second?

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
How many years have you been fighting or practicing the
discipline of jiu-jitsu? 14 years. Would you please escort Ronnie
in and out of the building?

Speaker 4 (32:23):
I got you.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Make sure he's safe.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
The claws on that squirrel are pretty intense.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Please, thank you.

Speaker 7 (32:28):
I've been recording myself for my safety because I don't
know what the squirrel's going to do next.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
We're going to send your guardian angel there, the buddy
system of Tubbs, to get you in and out. And
that is going to do it for us this morning
on Kiss Sisney. We'll take you from here.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
What you got, Sisney?

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Got your one-minute tea coming up at 10-10.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Ah, cool. Talk to you in the morning. It's kiss.
