create this festival, this all-woman festival. Yes, for charity, where
all the proceeds, 100% of the proceeds go to women charities.

these artists. And it's really cool because she called them
personally herself to invite every single artist to come onto

So you went to a birthday party. You painted naked

Well, I didn't need to. Like, that's art. Like, you
don't need to paint every side.

Yeah, because you weren't looking at his face. You were
looking at everything else. You probably didn't have a head.
You could have no head and you'd still paint the body.

can tell that he has a six pack.

Yeah, he did.

And pecs.

Afterwards, yeah, they did a meet and greet and we
all took.

They wore Speedos after that for the meet and greet.

So they're basically strippers.

Yeah, I don't know. I mean, good for you. What
a life you live. And that stool. Can I see
that stool? That's a great piece. Where can I get that?
I like the stool. I need a stool. So when
you got home to Michael, what was the conversation, the dialogue?
Speaker 2 (36:16):
There was no dialogue. I just went straight to bed
because I went out after this.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Was there a favorite of the models?
Speaker 6 (36:25):
No, but I will tell you guys, I was one
of the finalists for one of the best paintings, and
I got brought up on stage to be voted on,
and I lost to some dude whose painting was apparently
a little bit better than mine.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Was there conversation about strengths and weaknesses, pros and cons
of them, if you know what I mean? Like, were some...
stronger than others in certain categories if i.
Speaker 6 (36:49):
Had to rank them yes one was stronger than the
other one i don't like any of it.

Oh i didn't think about it all weekend uncomfortable well
my mom said my mom called she goes did i
hear this right i said what she goes did cisney
go to a party to paint subjects and she was
not alarmed by it At all.
Speaker 3 (37:12):

She just wanted clarification. She didn't think it was weird
at all.

Welcome back. What a weekend you had. What a weekend, right?
I mean, that is so much better than me watching
the Kevin Hart movie on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Although it was a cute movie, though.

It was cute. So everybody talking about the big festival
over the weekend, the Daisy Chain Fields Festival, 45,000 tickets.
It was a great, here was a great show. It
was not there, here was a great show, but hot.
Speaker 6 (38:00):
Right.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
The conversation was about traffic, long lines, and heat, but
the artists... apparently really delivered. And do you remember way
back before probably anybody in the back room was born,
there was something called the Lilith Fair. This was powerful,
talented singer, songwriter, female artist. This is kind of like

the Gen Z version of that is what people are saying.
Speaker 5 (38:25):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (38:26):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
That's what they're saying about it. So what do you know?
Speaker 2 (38:30):
Well, it happened Saturday.

And I was a little bummed that Cat's Eye pulled out.
Because Cat's Eye pulled out Thursday before the festival due to,
was it Megan's sprained ankle?
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Well, let's frame this. Olivia, right? This was her idea.
Speaker 6 (38:44):
Olivia Rodrigo thought this up. She's like, I want to
create this festival, this all-woman festival. Yes, for charity, where
all the proceeds, 100% of the proceeds go to women charities.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Which is great.
Speaker 6 (38:55):
Which is, yeah, women-focused, nonprofit organizations. And she got all
these artists. And it's really cool because she called them
personally herself to invite every single artist to come onto
this festival. And it wasn't like an email was sent out.
It was like she personally called every single artist.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
Like, my agent's going to call your agent.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Right.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
It wasn't that.
Speaker 6 (39:12):
It was like Olivia picking up the phone and calling
Sarah McLachlan.

You know, like things like that.
Speaker 6 (39:17):
And so she performed, Dochi performed, dozens of other artists.
Chapel Roan was there. And like I was saying, Cat's
Eye pulled out, but it went off without a hitch.
And she even brought out Alanis Morissette for Ironic. which
I think is so cool.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
Yeah, just a combination of the different generations of artists.
And the biggest challenge was just the heat. Are we
done with the heat? Are we over the heat? I'm
heated out.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
It's definitely not as hot this week as it was
last week. Yeah, it was cool this morning.
Speaker 6 (39:45):
Yeah, we're like in the 80s throughout most parts of SoCal,
maybe low 90s if you're more inland.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
And they're saying there might be rain later this week too.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
People were saying about the festival that they loved it
and the artists were just incredible. But the longest set
was the set to wait in line to get your tacos.
That was the longest thing that was there was the
food line. And I think they're going to do it again.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
I hope so.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
She said they might do it again.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Yeah, she said. I think it's confirmed for 2027.
Speaker 6 (40:14):
It raised $ 10 million for charity, and she brought out
Melinda Gates, who said that she's going to double it.
So it's $ 20 million going towards women-focused nonprofit organizations. And

They got married Saturday in Montecito. The two met back

But by the time they walked down the aisle, they'd
already been together for eight years. He proposed last September
during their seventh anniversary trip. Billie Eilish, his sister, officiated

Dax Shepard, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Chamberlain, Nina Dobrev. But what

everybody's talking about is the eight years together. Some people
were saying eight years is way too long.

I disagree totally. I think if it works for you,
it's totally fine. You don't have to, you know, concede
to convention. And also, weren't they in their 20s when
they started to date?
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Well, yeah, he's 29 now.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Okay, yeah. So if you're in your early 20s and
you start to date, 20s are different. If I started
to date somebody at my age, eight years is a
long time to wait to propose. But I think in
the 20s. It's no big deal.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
I agree with you with it being the 20s. And also,
it's just different for every single couple.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
It is true. And as I've said before, you do
not want to take too many steps that are permanent
before you really do your due diligence and understand who
this human being is. And if it takes eight years,
it takes eight years. It's fine. Tanya, why are you
laughing at me? If you're in your 20s. But, you know,
(42:52):
some people don't feel the pressure to rush and they
should not.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
Yeah.

If they are happy and it works, who cares what
everybody else says and what they've done in their situation?

I would like to know. I mean, we'll never know.

I would like to know if at some point after
a certain amount of years, she was like, okay, dude, like,
I just want to know.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
Probably.

Is this happening or is this not happening? I'm sure
they had that conversation.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
It probably came up, but they were comfortable. They were
in love and they didn't need to rush it. I'm,
I like that it took them that long to get
to know each other. I'm fine with that, to get
to know each other. What's the longest run you've known
someone to have before they proposed? Three years, four years,
five years? I mean, it's a long run.
Speaker 6 (43:37):
I feel like, honestly, my sister had a friend that, like,
they were, like, together for, like, 11 years and then
they finally got married.
Speaker 1 (43:43):
But then it was just more of, like, a formality.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
You know what I mean? Yeah, it was like that.
I know. Mine was five and I felt like that
was long. Yeah, mine was four and I was like, shh.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Those are good. Those are, you really get to know
the person. So congratulations to them over the weekend. There
