I told you I was an Anaheimer weekend and I
saw everybody ordered the Mickey Mouse waffle for breakfast that
Mick could. I didn't eat it, but I smelled it
smelled amazing. Question for you, Tommy, do you use an
electric toothbrush or old school bristly toothbrush.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
I use an electric toothbrush. Indeed, I go back and forth.
I can't use the electric one every single time. I
don't know what it is. It's like it's too power. Yeah,
really okay for.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Me, it's not too profer. I have to be too light,
like I like to mash my teeth with the old
school toothbrush, like to brush my tongue with it too,
uh huh. And the electric one, I can't brush my
tongue with it.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Right, So you're not supposed to use your toothbrush to
wash your tongue apparently.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Okay, so says every time, and then I'll get really
in there with the scraper.

But I mean, if you're just like, you know, I
gotta keep moving.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
No, someone else actually gave me one.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
I have gifted one. I gifted one to my I feel.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Like that's a that's a gift you have to well,
it's to be really close to the person to give
them as like a scrape. Anyway, The reason I bringing
up is I use the old school one, and my
bristles are so mashed. They get mashed very very fast.
They turn out brush. It's time for a new brush.
I'm using the old one. I was this morning. I
was seeing myself, Gosh, I need a new toothbrush. That's
what I need. That. I wonder if they use electric ones.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:19):

for that. Yeah, if you're a happy person with your partner,
there are three things, three phrases that they seem to
don't ever say this to your partner than any of these.

drop this down.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I'm actually gonna write them down.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
And that's what happened overnight.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
We're talking about routines here. I got a little bit
out of my fitness routine, a little bit out of
my exercise routine. I think with every theater goes by,
I do try and fine tune it a little bit, right,
because you know what, every year look a little bit
harder to get back into shape if you do get off.
Once you get off, they get off of it for
a week, then it becomes two weeks real fast now
(05:49):
and a.

Month flip of a switch.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Oh, I know.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
It's so easy to gain it's so hard to lose it.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
It really is annoying.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
I mean, you could gain fame five pounds a weekend
and then annoying three months.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
So true used to not be like that. No, So
I'm into uh, I'm into a new phase where I'm
trying to don't laugh. I'm gonna say that, I'm gonna
say the words, but I'm trying to bodybuild.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
That's fine, but I'm laughing here. That's great.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
I think it's good though, I'm I'm intrigued, like, elaborate
more on this.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
I'm googling body builders workouts, like actual professional body builders,
like you would see a Golden Vents right.
Speaker 1 (06:40):

seed oil, canola oil, vegetable oil, coconut oil. I have
oil for everything. Uh, I don't know. I just feel
like if I follow some of their programs Bodybuilders, maybe
you'll actually see it. Maybe I'll have a shirt on,
you'll see it.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
I think you can do.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
I mean, you know who did this, Tamor Judge from
the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
She became a bodybuilder, and.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Then she looked and then she did all like the competitions.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Your dad wasn't your dad bodybuilder?
Speaker 5 (07:33):

You're here as an engineer. It's the same career line.
Speaker 7 (07:52):
I mean, the life of a bodybuilder requires a lot
of discipline, a lot of training, a lot of dieting.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
It's a it's did he dress up in the little bikini?
He did? He does and he will.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
It's a speed though.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Trunks don posing trunk tram posing trunks. We all have
posing trunks, don't we put up our big facade and
pose every day?

Speaker 2 (08:13):
I prefer to be high wasted.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Uh? Well, Easton, that is fascinating, you know. Can I
look him up?
Speaker 7 (08:19):

looks like that. He works out every day.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Oh my god, that's awesome. He eats a lot of elk?
Speaker 5 (08:58):
Is it gas?
Speaker 7 (08:59):
H Yes, I'll say that, yes, but you know it
requires a lot.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
To sacrifices one must make and ruby as you laugh
at my bodybuilding formula, yes, you got it. You're getting
into this too.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I hear I some version of this.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Yes, don't make fun if you're joining the club, what
are you doing different?
Speaker 2 (09:24):
I got a mini trampoline.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Those are great for the apps. They say you should
do those for. It's good for digestion and for your
app it's.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Good cardio And apparently only ten minutes.
Speaker 9 (09:33):
I got this because NASA says, like ten minutes of
jumping on a trampoline is the same as like thirty
minutes of cardio.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
So I was like, perfect, Well wait to tell us
that for a long time. Yeah, only ten minutes?
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Do you are you just jumping up and down? Are
you like punching your arms out or you like do anything?
Speaker 9 (09:52):
It's like a routine. I'll go on YouTube. I find
different workouts on YouTube.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Really good for your insides as well.
Speaker 9 (09:59):
Yeah, your lymphatic system. It's supposed to be really good
for like draining your lymphatic system.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
So I'm trying it well.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
Before we order ours on Amazon, let us know if
it works. I will maybe a circle back. Let's to
close the loop on that our count next to three
phrases that happy couples like, everyone's happy in their relationships
around here. Yeah, but the three phrases happy couple should
never say. I'm curious if Sisty and Tanya do this,
all right, Tanya in happy couple relationships here, And I
(10:30):
was reading about this, and when I read about stuff
like this, I think I wonder if they do this.
So marriage experts are saying that couples should never use
these three phrases. What if any of y'all use these
three phrases? Okay, one, I'm sorry you feel that way?
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Oh yeah, said that?
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Yeah, kind of placing. It's kind of placing, it's kind
of it is condescending.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
I'm sorry you feel that way. That's so nice, Like,
I'm so sorry you feel that way.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I guess it's not nice.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
It's not nice, and.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
They major collection if you say it like that, like
I'm so.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Sorry that an apology.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
I'm sorry you feel that way.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Well, no one talks like that.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Well maybe in that sense they might, but.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
It's being stubborn, tonya. It is. It's like it's followed
by butt. I'm doing it anyway, I kind of slap
in the face. That's one.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Interesting.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Another one, don't ever say this to stay happy. It's
not worth getting upset about. I do like that one.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
I feel like I can totally picture you saying that.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
But the point is, yeah, because let's move on. It's
not worth getting literally choose your pick your battles because
it's like you know, I guess I see the downside
to that, because you're telling somebody that what they feel
isn't important for being upset. Yeah, and this one. I
can't stand this one. And when I hear it, I
(11:47):
take total personal offense and I take a deep breath
and I say, please don't say that.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
I know what it is.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Calm down?
Speaker 3 (11:58):
That's it? Is it?
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Really?
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Yes? Yes, anybody like hearing calm down.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
But I say to my kids all the time.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
All fine, you in charge, But in a relationship, calm
down is the worst. Like you could say things start
with an F to me, calm.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Down, really, calm down, calm down?
Speaker 3 (12:21):
No, you Today's quote some days are better than others,
and today is not one of them. Well, I just
thought it'd be fun, you know, after coming out of
calm down.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Some days are better than others Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
And now it's cynical Tuesdays. Kiss FM headlines with well.
Speaker 4 (12:46):

Middle School that's in Granada Hills, Co Trojan, and she
she adopted her from her brother because he was having
a lot of problems and she wanted her needs to
have a more stable home. So she needs clothes, school supplies,
I think a new backpack, and so Selena's going to
join us now. Selena Toledo and Mission Hills, Good morning.
Speaker 10 (14:34):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
So it's back to school time.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yes, it is my little eighth grader, my daughter?
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Yes, your daughter. I know you brought her in. Now,
she's your daughter. You're taking care, You're taking care of
a lot of people.
Speaker 6 (14:47):
It sounds like, yes, I am, I'm doing mama mama duty.
Speaker 3 (14:53):

a nineteen year old.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Huh oh, yes, I do.
Speaker 3 (14:57):

Speaker 8 (15:01):
Missions Lydia, Lydia.
Speaker 3 (15:04):

eighth grader.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Oh yeah, okay, yeah, of course we can definitely do that.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Check out.
Speaker 8 (15:47):
Okay, we will, I'm okay, yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, I need a back then it makes a lot
more sense to have a backpack than carry it back
carry a background. It's so it's not small, so much easier.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Every time, ever since I saw you with your man bag,
I have been trying to get one for my fiance.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
I think, yeah, well you no one needs a man
bag in eighth grade yet, books and everything, so exactly

Twenty five hundred bucks every time KISSFM dot com slash
(16:28):
school it's Ryan, see Chris Disney and Tanya. Time for
a second date update. So Joseph is the dude here.
He's on the line. He met this woman he used
to work with in the Echo Park farmers market and
they made plans to go out. It was the first
date for them, and he says it was amazing, it
was the best first date he's ever been on. And
(16:49):
now she seems to be shutting him out. So we're
trying to figure out why this is a situation where
you're like, think you're doing everything right on a date
and then you're not kidding a response. I mean, clearly
it means they don't like you, but why not? Now?
Are you the person that settles with okay, they don't
like me, have to move on, or you the kind
of person like Joseph. They needs to know why. And
so that's where we are. Joseph, good morning, How are you?
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Good morning? I'm doing well. How are you.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
Solid? Thank you solid? So Joseph, when you say it
was like the best first date you've ever been on, why.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
I mean, I don't know. We laughed and talked about
our memories, you know, our lives now, and I don't know.
She was touchy feely and seemed to be into me,
and we just had a good time.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
But you don't work together now. You did work together?
Speaker 5 (17:36):
Oh yeah, yeah. We worked together at a consulting firm
when I was like right out of college.
Speaker 6 (17:40):
She'd been there a few years. I remember her showing
me the ropes. I had a big crush on her then,
but I never acted on it. So when I started
the Farmer's market, you know, I figured it was faked,
so I asked her out. Then Sunday we went out.
The farmer's Market was a Friday. We had we had
brunch at Millie's Sunset. I had a blast, you know,
(18:02):
like I said, we shared memories, laughed a lot, talked
about our lives.
Speaker 8 (18:05):
Now.
Speaker 5 (18:06):
I don't know. It was really great.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Yeah, how'd you end it? How'd that day end?
Speaker 5 (18:15):
I mean, you know, we went our separate ways, and
you know, she said that she'd be down to do
it again. I said that I would too. She went
on a work trip and said that she might be
available when she gets back, and she's back now, but
she's not returning my texts.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Interesting, I've been there.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
What time is what time? What time was your meal?
Your brunch? What time?
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Does that matter?
Speaker 3 (18:42):
I'm curious that what is brunch time exactly? Is it
technically a life?
Speaker 5 (18:47):
I think we did at one pm a little bit.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Later, Brunn, that's like lunch?
Speaker 5 (18:53):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (18:53):
What you get to eat?
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Yeah? Ex, Benedict, did you kiss? We did not kiss.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
No, but she was very touching, peely and she touched
me a lot.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I heard that.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Where it sounds like great details.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
I don't know, She's like touch my arm and you know,
when she would laugh, she would reach in and touch me,
and I don't know, it seemed great. I thought it
was a good time.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Okay, Well it doesn't make sense right if she's all
over you and then doesn't respond to you. Just be her.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Personality though too. I feel like Tong is very touching
Phee like that doesn't even know she's doing it. I
love touching, not for me, Joseph, Hold.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
On one second, Like she's totally You're unaware right when
you're touching.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Sometimes No, I'm aware aware.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
That makes even worse. Well, we're in the middle of
a second date update here. This is kiss Los Angeles.
Thanks for listening to us. If you're just visiting LA,
what's up? Welcome to our great city. I've got Joseph
on the phone. This is called a second date update,
so quickly, here's the deal, Joseph, And this is the
concept trying to figure out why if you're getting shut
down after a date, Like why, what's the reason? You
(20:08):
thought it all went well? You like the person, but
they're blowing you off. What's the reason for it? Just
to give you some peace of mind, that's Joseph's situation.
I worked with this woman, had a crush on her,
totally runs into her later after they don't work together
at a farmer's market, and he's like, this is fate.
Meant to be asked her out. They go out, they
go to brunch, They have a great brunch. They have
a date brunch, first date. She's kind of handsy with him.
(20:31):
Catch you feel, he said, That's what he said. So
he's like, it's on, yeah, feel in the other separate ways.
He's trying to ask her out again. She's not responding
at all, so it doesn't add up. He's like, wait
with the body language. And the date was great, it
seemed like all signs are point in the right direction.
But now she's not getting back to me, so what happened?
Speaker 2 (20:50):
But she did say she was.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
Going to go on a work trip, so maybe she's
still kind of getting settled back.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
I think it seems like more. But that's what Joseph's
it's in his head. He wants to know. He wants
to confront her. So Joseph just don't say anything. To
be very quiet. We're going to talk to her on
the air. Okay, you're going to listen.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
In oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, all.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Right, here we go. Bianca, thank you for hanging on there.
You're on Kiss FM. This morning. How are you?
Speaker 8 (21:13):
I'm good, how are you great?
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Thank you for asking? I Gotch's Ryan here, I got
Sisty and Tanya with me calling you about a guy
named Joseph you went out with? Tell us about him?
Speaker 5 (21:26):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (21:28):
Did he put me down as a reference or something?
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Reference?
Speaker 3 (21:33):
What do you when I say his name? What is that?
Was that? What do you think about? What used to
work with him? Right?
Speaker 8 (21:42):
I mean, yeah, we used to work together. I mean
we went to brunch recently.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
And was it a date a date? No?
Speaker 8 (21:54):
I mean we worked together back in the day and
we just went to brunch and we were just sharing stories.
I didn't think it was a date at all.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
And did you feel like after you had brunch with
him you wanted to see him again?
Speaker 10 (22:10):
No?
Speaker 8 (22:10):
I I was just giving him advice. That's what I
thought this brunch was, is that he was just calling
you to give him career guidance.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
And how would you just to characterize your body language
during this non date, Brudge, I.
Speaker 8 (22:28):
Wasn't really paying attention. I mean I was definitely friendly.
We used to work together, so I don't recall anything
that would give him any sign that this was a date.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Got it understood well? Here's the thing, Bianca, Are you
like a Hansy person? Are you? Do you? Are you?
Are you like when you talk you put your hand
on people's shoulders or like, what do you do with
your hands when you talk?
Speaker 8 (22:57):
I mean, I guess I'm a touchy feely person. You
know he was talking about, you know, he was frustrated
with the industry, and I may have done that to
comfort him because he's a smart guy.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Well, here's the thing, this is just a total miscommunication.
That's really why we are here. Joseph is on the
line with us right now listening to all of this,
and yeah, and the thing is, I feel like Joseph, Well,
Joseph can tell you this, but from what I know,
because he told me he had a crush on you
when you worked together, he didn't do anyth because you
worked together. And then when you guys ran into each
(23:31):
other at the farmers market, he felt like it was fate.
And then he asked you out on what he thought
was a date, and then you were sort of quote
like all over him, which he told me.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
And so he didn't say all over him.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Well, he said like really on that, and so he
was I think Joseph you should pick up the conversation
here but confused.
Speaker 8 (23:51):
Wow, yes, let's just please clear this up because I
don't think I was all over him.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
No, no, no, that's just Joseph.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Could you under stand the difference of perspective here.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah I can.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
I guess I wanted to figure that out.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
So it wasn't a date, Joseph.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
It was not a date. It's not going to be
a date. And she's really just a supportive friend and
that's probably a great thing. So can can do you
think you could have a friendship?
Speaker 8 (24:24):
Are you asking me? I?
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yeah, I mean this is Joseph anything.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
Really awkward because I actually I think it's the date.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
But I think this is good because now the awkwardness
is gone. It's diffused because Joseph, I think romantically had
a vision. You don't. And now we know everybody stands,
which is good news.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
This happens to everybody. It's totally fine.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
I don't know that it does.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Which happened on an actual date with the guards on
the table beyond.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
Joseph.
Speaker 8 (25:00):
How old are you?
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Oh no, it's getting worse.
Speaker 5 (25:03):
I'm twenty eight.
Speaker 8 (25:06):
I'm for you. One.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
I have no problem with that.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
I mean.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
I do.
Speaker 8 (25:14):
Look, you know what, Joseph, I wish you the best
with your career. I hope we take advice I gave
you at brunch, but really truly I wish you the best.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
I'm gonna go now, all.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Right, thank you for coming on with this. Really appreciate
a great day and good luck with everything. Joseph's gone
like this, good news, Joseph, exist, But now we can move.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
On, right I guess.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Yeah, No, I think it's time. Yeah, Joseph. We really
appreciate you trusting us with that. Thanks for reaching out
to us. Okay, you take care, all right, We'll see
you later.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Peace mane.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
No, that was great. That was what a second date
update is supposed to do. It was totally actually perfect.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Host.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
This is exciting. We're moving into the I Radio Music
Festival time period here where we're on approach to that
next month in Las Vegas. It's going to be fantastic.
Two nights at Tea Mumble Arena in Vegas. We've got
tickets for both nights and a hotel state at MGM
Resorts Hotel, a gas card. You can hang with us backstage.
All you got to do is play taller or shorter
than me? The game is called right, Yeah, the game
(26:34):
is built built for all of us here. So let's
meet Sarah and Studio City. Good morning, Sarah, Studio City. Hi, Hi,
are you ready to play? Taller or shorter than?
Speaker 10 (26:45):
Right?
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Are you going to?
Speaker 6 (26:49):
What are you?
Speaker 2 (26:49):
You're going to share your height?
Speaker 5 (26:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
I'm five eight five eight.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Okay, that's what we're going with.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
WHOA we met you guys measured it? I know, can
we measure it right here? Mark? What was the official five?
I mean an official title? In fact, it was sixty
eight changes, sixty change. It was a margin of error
margin of air four inches. That's a lot taller than me, Sarah.
So here's the deal. Sorry, are you still here, Sarah?
Speaker 8 (27:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Okay, all you gotta do is say taller or shorter
than I am? So I'm They tell me I'm five eight.
I would say five eight and some change, but you
get it.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
I would have given you five minutes, it doesn't matter.
But yeah, we're going with five to eight.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Okay, you gotta get three right before you get three wrong?
Here we are? Am I taller or shorter than Hosier.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
Shorter?
Speaker 3 (27:46):
I'm actually taller than Hosier, No, which is something I no.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
No, you are not taller than Hosier.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
There's no way I am taller than is like six something,
six ' five.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Maybe I'm not. I tried to get away with it.
I'm not Hosier six because I'm five. I didn't realize
you guys knew the actual heights. I was trying to
pull that one on.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
I met him before, so I knew how tall it was.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
So you know everyone's height. Okay, fine, So Sarah, yes
you got that right, Okay, all right? Am I taller
or shorter than Doja Cat's who's taller?
Speaker 5 (28:23):
You?
Speaker 3 (28:25):
I am? I am? I am?
Speaker 6 (28:26):
I am.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
I'm going to tell people that too. I am five
to eight and some change she's five three. So for
the win right now, Keith Urban, Keith Urban? Am I
Keith Urban? Taller or shorter? Am I taller shorter than
Keith Urban?
Speaker 5 (28:48):
I think you're taller.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
He wears thick soled shoes, he does, and his hair is.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
And it comes so he comes in on paper at
five ten, which means he's taller, which means he didn't
get that one right. But I do appreciate it. So
I'm going to make you a winner to the iHeart
Radio Music Festival, both nights presented by Capital One. You're
gonna see Hosier and Doja Cat and Halsey and more.
You can compare our heights on stage. You're gonna see
(29:17):
us in person, so enjoy that. I got a gas card.
You'll come backstage. We're gonna meet you, Sarah.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Yeah, we'll get you backstage.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
WHOA, how tall are you? So I recognized you?
Speaker 2 (29:31):
It used to be five six, but I'm shrinking in
my old age on five five?
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Right on that. We look forward to seeing it. Thanks
for listening to us. Little one second? All right, time's
very excited. So excited is this? She firsting with excitement.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
I don't think you understand how much this overtook all
of my social media for the past week plus.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
I don't understand. I want to know. Tell me this
is trending report, Tanya.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Okay, So it ends with us came out over the weekend,
and the drama with the press tour has completely taken
over my TikTok feed. When I tell you, I spent
So this is Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
So I'm sure you've seen what I want to see this? Yes, okay,
I see it?
Speaker 1 (30:18):
Well, yet to go to the movie theater, Okay, let's go.
So So I spent a full hour on TikTok just
watching all these videos, analyzing all this stuff. So without
getting into the weeds, which I could do for hours
and might do like a special podcast on this. The
premise is this Justin Baldoni. He plays the male lead
in the movie, and he directed the film. People know
(30:40):
him from Jane the Virgin and he also was the
director for Five Feet Apart, so he was noticeably distant
from the rest of the cast during this. The crazy
amounts of promo that they did for this movie, no
interviews together, no photos together, and the whole movie is
about their relationship. Like that is like a like Mickey
(31:00):
and Minnie Mouse doing a press tour for a movie
without each other.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
This is like the opposite of Sidney Sweeney and Glen Powell,
how they were so very much together.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Yeah, this is literally like that, exactly the opposite. So
like people are watching this thinking like this is so bizarre.
There's several theories as to what caused this tension or
friction among them, but the bottom line is that the
way that it's being handled, like the drama, it's really
taking away from the movie itself because it has a
really important message. And so I'm not going to get
(31:28):
into all the theories because there's just so many and it's
like just so deep. But my question to you is,
at the end of the day, this is about work drama,
friction or tension in the workplace. How would you handle it?
Because at the end of the day, like you have
a job to do. You know, you made this movie
and you need to promote this movie as United Front,
(31:49):
So like, how would you do that?
Speaker 3 (31:51):
Well, we don't know what happened or if definitely there's.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
Something going on, And there's lots.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Of theories as to what I mean. For me, it
depends right like was there something offensive, disrespectful or is
it something just that that that didn't connect. I don't
know what theories were.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Just creative differences.
Speaker 4 (32:11):
Okay, let's say it's different like they butted heads the
whole time or something.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Okay, let's go with that. Let's go with that above
the line.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
Yeah, right, you suck it up and you act professional
and you get through it.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
If you let it get to you, it wins.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
I know, but so would you like have for me?
Like I feel like I can't handle friction or tension,
like I can't rise above and I can't pretend. So
for me, I would have to have a conversation with
that person, like I would have to just hash it out,
like ask them to get coffee or like lunch or whatever.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
And which is a great approach, Just break the ice
on it and say, look, we've got a job to do.
Let's do it. The differences aside. That's probably the best approach.
I would probably not do that and just pretend everything's fine.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Right, but my difference is a side in my own head,
and then just move on.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
Wow, I wish I could do that.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
You want to create some drama and have a coffee,
have a compartmentalized.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
On air where Ryan talking about La twenty eight and
it's gonna be I think gonna get her pretty fast,
but very exciting. You know, you watch the Paris Olympics
and we did. It's kind of what we the world
needed to get.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
It was nice.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
We watched the Olympics actually coming off of Tokyo where
it was COVID and now your Paris beautiful place and
there was excitement there. It's always amazing to watch these
athletes who are just I mean, they're not normal, but
they're normal, right, They got they got tattoos, they listen
to music, they are they're cool, they hang out with friends.
But they're also not normal because they're amazingly talented and
(33:40):
have to be obsessed with their.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
Sport, dedicated.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
But I found it interesting that some of the Team
USA revealed the songs they listened to pump them up.
Think about the songs you listened to get you out
of a bad mood or a funk, or when you're
working out right? Would these work for you? So beats
volleyball Tarren Cloth and her partner Christennis eliminated by Canada
I think anyway. They revealed that they listened to Defying Gravity.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
From from Wicked.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
I got so good.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Here, listen to this? Would this do it for you?
It might take you out of the moon.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
I don't know, No, I could see it worgan okay,
and you can't hold.
Speaker 10 (34:29):
It.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Wouldn't pump me up either, but it does put you
in a good mood and maybe it alleviates stress. Yeah,
all right, t A. They revealed also Anahol they have
tathlon seven track and field events. This would do it
for me. Matter of fact, I was listening to one
of his songs the other day on the treadmill. What
do you mean then you say the wood? Yes, what
(34:52):
do you mean?
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (34:53):
I mean I was rolling on that. It's Justin Bieber.
Come on, it's vintage Bieber.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Total vintage.
Speaker 1 (35:02):
This would hype me.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Bieber gets me, bro he gets me. I listen to
his song Bieber and Quavo put me in a space too.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Yeah, I love Justin Bieber music.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Uh okay, Jasmine More Triple Jumper and Long Jumper says
this one is the fire up song. One of two.
Bronze BA say do it all right, Let's get to
another one. This is TMO say the songs they listened
to while getting fired up to compete. C J. Nicholas
Taekwondo says.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
Snooze, no chances of your way.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
But maybe it's about stress, relief and relaxing.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Yeah, I guess yeah, And.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
I know, Sisney. This one is just for you. This,
I know this one you want? Oh yes, what you want?
This should do for anybody?
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Then you met is the official pump up song.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
Kelsey being Field hockey does this one? What's your pump
up song in life? Serious to know? Eight hundred and
five to seven ten.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Snoop Dog Doctor Dre Shakiraeeverever, Calvin hars Abby.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Oh right, well, my pits are wet. Yeah, I know that.
Speaker 8 (36:13):
I know.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
That's just your right one. Your left one is not
as sweaty.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
Well.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
I do a lot of work with my right I
didn't know.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
That one could sweat unbalanced.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
I pressed, I press all the buttons with the right hand.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the one that's doing all are looking pretty
fit up there.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
That that Disney Hotel work in dang excuse yeah, good.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Thing, miss your workout. I do what you're doing.
Speaker 10 (36:42):
I do.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
I want to.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
I want to start building more muscle.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
Yeah exactly, that's what I'm trying to. I told you
I'm bodybuilding, right.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Yeah, that's that's the new that's my new thing too,
Like I want more muscle, build it up.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Yeah, I don't know your new thing. Well, join the
club anyway, wait for for staff members are engaged to
be married. Right now, you've got tubs and engineering. That's
what be in the back room. You got Tanya right
in front of me, and now and now official pictures.
Speaker 10 (37:16):
I not official official, it's just still I'm getting the
ring resize, so I need to get like actual engagement
photos done. But yes, there are some pictures.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
There's some pictures. By the way, your fingernail game is
pretty solid. I like the mustard tips there.
Speaker 10 (37:28):
Literally someone DMed me and was like, you knew it
was coming. I can tell that's a fresh set, And
I was like.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah, you got me.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Is it pink into yellow?
Speaker 10 (37:38):
Yeah, it's giving like pink lemonade.
Speaker 2 (37:40):
That's you know, when it's given me a mulfi coast o. Yes,
that's the vibe I definitely want to give out. So
thank you.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
All right, now let's let's get this about the engagement.
So how did Raoul propose?
Speaker 10 (37:52):
Okay, so it's actually a very long, very kind of
la story, but I'm going to shorten it. So basically,
he takes me to Bakari and I sort of knew
that he was going to propose that night.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
I just thought, no, yeah, oh do I say it wrong.
Everyone does. It's in Silver Lake. It's like Mediterranean foot.
Speaker 6 (38:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (38:14):
So he took me there and so I was like, oh,
he's just conn take me there and he can propose
at home. But as we're leaving the restaurant, I see
a note that has my name on it, like one
of the tables at the entrance, and I open it
up and it gives a clue to the next location.
So then he takes me to Aaron Aaron McCormick. It's
like gluten Free Bakery. I don't know exactly where it is.
(38:36):
He takes me there and then they like give me
a little tree, and inside the box there was another note,
and that note led to the trunk of my notes. Yeah,
I was like, I was like, and so it led
to the trunk of my car, and there's a bunch
of balloons in the trunk and like a bunch of
our little mementos from our relationship.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Over the years.
Speaker 10 (38:56):
And then I opened it and like the last clue
led to Griffith Observatory. Here's what we're a little off
the rails. Raoul had his friends there set up a
whole thing to be proposed, so he could propose me
at sunset all this stuff, and we couldn't find parking.
There was like literally no parking. The lot was closed.
They wouldn't let us in. There was a concert at
(39:16):
the Greek, like it was just crazy and he was
so upset, and so we like finally find parking at
like a Starbucks parking lot and we had like a
little heart to heart in the car and he just
proposed to me there, and honestly it was it.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
Was so sweet.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
I was like, oh, this is Did you get up
to the observatory?
Speaker 10 (39:38):
No, no, not eventually, but I think we're gonna get
our engagement photos done there to make up for it, because.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
He's trying to race against sunset.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Yeah exactly.
Speaker 10 (39:46):
And yeah so but I mean hallila is that we
couldn't find parking and so there's.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Always a Starbucks nearby. Exciting.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
What about the friends?
Speaker 1 (39:57):
What about the friends?
Speaker 8 (40:00):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (40:00):
Yeah, they he called them afterwards to like apologize and
they were all sad, and I was like, no, one's
allowed to be sad. I'm engaged.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
They can't always be perfect, but it's going to be
the best story ever.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Exactly, That's what I said.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
Yeah, thanks you, congratulations Finally Raoul, big news there collects
in the back room.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Engaged four years. Four years the Baker, the Baker.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
Pastry chef. Coming off of the really exciting uh paras
Olympic Games, which I was reading. They rated really well,
like people were into it, people were watching. I saw
people all over the place because you could stream it
with their phones.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
And I want to plod Peacock because that watching it
on Peacock and all the different highlights they did.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
It was so cool compared to all previous years.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Yeah, it was cool to be able to have access
to that and see stuff live or in its entirety.
You know, when they cut around they could go you
could go see something completely live and in the goal.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Hn the gold zone was next level.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Well, Jimmy Fallon doing the closing ceremonies with Mike Turrico,
it's kind of fun. But Simone Biles was there with
closing ceremony. I mean, she's a goat and she's all
over the place and she actually she I know, I
like saying it, and she is. And so she got
the flag with our mayor Karen Bass. But she's a
unique on the California connection.
Speaker 4 (41:20):
So after she won her final medal, you may have
noticed that she brought out her goat necklace. It's like
a diamond covered mini goat pendant silver chain and apparently
that goat necklace has a connection to us here in
southern California because it was designed by Calabasas jeweler Janet Heller,
who says that this has been the highlight of.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
Her jewelry career.
Speaker 4 (41:41):
Sure to do this, I guess Simone reached out back
in May to custom design this piece, and so they
worked together to build it out.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
It's it's solid piece of gold.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
The goat part, and then it's hand drilled with handset
diamonds in it. And now the shopping Calabasas is getting
NonStop requests, like thousands of people are reaching out trying
to wreck get the goat. Yes, but it's not it's
a one of a kind. She's the jeweler is not
gonna come.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
Up with a new version of a goat. And you
have to be good at something to wear that. So
when you're ordering it, where are you good at?
Speaker 5 (42:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (42:14):
Exactly. You know a quick at Google search.
Speaker 4 (42:16):
You can find a bunch of fake knockoffs. So if
you really, really, you really want a.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Just for fun, Yeah, Like, if you think somebody's really
good at something as a gift, get them the goat
that Simone Biles has as the knockoff.
Speaker 4 (42:27):
Yeah, it was pretty cool, explaining the goat to my
six year old twins because they're just like.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
Why is she called the goat? Like, I don't get it.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
It's a great lesson in English grammar.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
I know exactly.
Speaker 4 (42:36):
I'm like, gee for her greatest oh, and how to
like spell it all out for them?
Speaker 2 (42:39):
I'm like, oh, so every time she was.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
On mom, is that the goat?
Speaker 2 (42:42):
Is that the goat?
Speaker 3 (42:43):
Next? You can do to insure promptness?
Speaker 5 (42:45):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (42:46):
What tips to insure promptness? That's what tip stands for.
Speaker 1 (42:52):

Speaker 2 (43:14):

also an urban legend. Well that's horrible.

Speaker 3 (43:28):

Speaker 4 (43:37):

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Simon was like, stop, I met her.
Speaker 3 (43:41):
