Speaker 1 (04:44):
Hey, I don't know if you've had a chance to
check out well a fortune lately, but last night was
kind of fun. We gave away one hundred thousand dollars
in the bonus round again again again. It is so.
I can't tell you how excited I get when I
get to look at the envelope and I see it
before the contestant sees it, and it says one hundred

(05:04):
thousand dollars, and here it is.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
I'd like to say hello to Grandma watching it home.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
And the answer is local bakery. That's it. I want
to I want to sell you. I want to sell
you something. Ryan. I just glad you win for it.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
And I jumped into Mark's.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Arms as you appropriately shout.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
You know, I can't help myself, you can't. I cannot
help but leap into people's arms when something big.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Like that, or catch them right right, right, right right.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
His total winnings last night, we have a fortune hundred
and twenty two thousand, three hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Wow, in the lottery.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
That is the second time this week that we've given
over one hundred thousand dollars money time this week. Yes,
so good. We're gonna get the million. I know when
I get the million one night, and I don't know
what I'm gonna do. I don't even know how to
handle it. I don't even thought about I don't.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Even thought about the million.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
There was almost one. There was almost one, Like one
of my first weeks, there will be a million dollar winner.
I promise you this, and I don't know how we're
gonna respond.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Wait, so there was one where they had the million
but they got the puzzle wrong.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, but it was so close to get the puzzle right,
like literally they have a million. I had a million
dollar and in my hand and I knew it, and
I knew it because I knew where it was because
the million dollars, and they got so close to get
the puzzle right, but just missing.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Do you know where the million dollars is? Before every game?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I can I can know as Yeah, well if I yeah,
I can check. Oh god, it's a system where I
can check.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Whenever I'm watching with Michael and they to pick it.
He always thinks it's the million. He's like, oh, the
triple Stars. Yep, that's the one.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
That's the one. What the apostrophe? Yeah, ah, that's the
one apostrophe? Is it? One hundred thousand dollars? Okay, let's
get to horsecopes.

Speaker 6 (07:14):

Speaker 5 (08:18):
First of all, I did not create this list.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
This is from I think it's from the New York posts.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Like what is the strict daddy planet?

Speaker 2 (08:27):
The strict daddy planet.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
I almost fell out of my chair when I was
riding this up because I could not stop laughing that
Cappricorn got a toothbrush.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
It's so on brand. I didn't make it up. I
swear I'll send you the link.

Speaker 6 (08:47):

We'll get a dental instrument. Everyody else gets candy.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
And you was the only one tooth front.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
By the way, who gets how toothbrushes? Trick or treating?
I don't even think of that, so smart, a lot of.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Candy, a lot of sugar. You gotta get in there, all.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Right, tisty, you have got a ghost story for us
this morning.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I do have a ghost story, and I want to.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
See that tell us about the ghost. And you know,
JoJo's all about this stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I know he is. Somebody was asking me to day, like, oh,
do you have a ghost story, And I'm like, I
kind of do. In our old house. I thought our
old house for sure had spirits, not necessarily.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Like this stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
It wasn't like I'd walk into the kitchen and all
the cupboards were open, but I felt a presence in
this one section of the house that used to be
the kitchen actually back in the day and actually had
like one of those old doors for like the milkman like.
And but we when we redesigned the house, we made
that an extra like office slash that was like our extra.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
We believe the driver get in the farm, the glass,
the milk, bring it, pick up the glass and go
watch it.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yeah, isn't that wild? So that's why I feel like
the house is like over almost one hundred years old.
So I just felt like this energy, like there's just
so much history there Anyways, this one night, I was sick,
so I was sleeping in that room so that I
wouldn't get Michael sick. And when I was laying there,
I felt this like presence or like a feeling of

(10:24):
pressure on me, like and I would get kind of
scared and I would wake up, and I felt it
coming in and out, in and out of the room.
And I finally like said something to the ghost and
I did. I said, please leave me alone. I live
here with my family, and we're not going to hurt
you if you don't hurt us.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Something like that, but just acknowledging that makes me scared her.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
So I felt watched. I watched so much, so many
scary movies and documentaries and all this stuff like this
is what I felt like I had to do. And
I was very tired. So then I finally fell asleep.
Nothing happened to me. The next day, I saged the
house like I saged everything, and then I never felt
that presence ever again in that area of the house
or anywhere in the home.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
This is all in your house, I know.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I feel anywhere I will.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Either I can't and I don't want. If it's true
to believe it's true. I don't want to think that
there's somebody there that I can talk to. If I
talk to them, I want to get into bed and
I want to moan. I want to.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Say, but let me tell you something. We don't live
in that house anymore, and I don't feel any of
that in this house. I felt it in the other house,
but not in this house, because you saged, I didn't
even save this house. It just I'm telling you they might.
For whatever reason, that other house had this like energy
and it wasn't necessarily negative. It was just like past
lives that were there hovering.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I don't know. I hear things in the walls, all
this stuff that I want to admit. There's a spirit.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
You have things in your walls. It's probably rats, raccoons.
It was raccoon because we heard that once too, and
it was a.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Little Gerbil running around in there. All right, let's get
to what's coming up. Ryan's Rose is going to be
here fast after seven o'clock this morning. So parents, if
you're planning to have wine tonight with Candy M, you're
the best pairings. If you're having M.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
And M's peanute, no wah, A good pair for me.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Jen, What was the kind of wine you were drinking
when I saw you guys at pace super Tuskin. Yeah,
I saw the bill, Pinky.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
You did pay the bill. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Let's see I ran into Jen from our show on
a random night at five o'clock, which is my time
at a great dark restaurant where there's no one ever.
I mean, there's people there, but you can't see anyone.
I saw. I saw Jen, Jen and rocco. Okay, Starburst
wine pairing.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Reasling, Oh, couldn't do it?

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Not my parents, I my nickname.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Why do you like Resling?

Speaker 1 (12:58):
I think it'd be funny to call me Reasling Ryan Reesling.
You don't say Ryan.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
It makes me think of reeseling and reeling is so?
You do me too? Sweet? I love sweet.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Let's get to peanut butter cups. How about Sherry? Gonna
call me that? Peter buter cups pairs with Sherry. I'm
not I don't evenink I've ever tried that to me.
It's not good. I don't like sherry cooking Sherry, all right. Next,
candy Corn prosecco, the bubbles of which is basically a
champagne from Italy and Hershey's Dark Chocolate zin.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Vendale Zinvendel Wow, a throwback zin Vendel. My mom likes that.
I just think it makes me think of my mom too.
My mom used to get the box zi Vendale.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Do you remember in the fridge.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I'll take a Zin, you call me Zin, and then
get a new name. I don't know. The white names
are always fun. When setting out on a journey, do
not seek advice from those who have never left home
week ceasently, that's right.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
The Dodgers beat the Yankees seven to six in Game
five to win their eighth World Series championship. Freddie Freeman
was named the World Series Most Valuable Player, hitting three
hundred with four home runs and twelve runs batted in.
The victory parade will be tomorrow morning at eleven. It
starts in front of City Hall on Spring Street downtown

(14:25):
west to First Street, south on Grand Avenue, and west
on Fifth, ending at Flower Street. The team will then
head to Dodgers Stadium for a ticketed celebration with fans,
which will start at twelve fifteen.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
All of this going down tomorrow, Go Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
We are so happy.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
On air with Ryan Seacrest, what do we got on
sick of M this Halloween morning sunshine, sunny skies heis
and low seventies fall weather is here in rain Saturday, Yes, yeah,
May Saturday. We're gonna pay your bills all day. Ryan's

(15:03):
roses coming up. Her husband got a text I think
from the one that got away, and I don't know
how she found it, but that's what's happening. So the
one that got away, I guess, professed her love or
still undying love for her husband like now, and she
thinks that maybe he's getting back with her. O. It's
definitely something we should.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
I don't love it. I don't like an X entering
a change. Yes, it's like stay out of my life.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
And we got Kiss of M jingle ball tickets for
then by Capitol One. Rage the stage. You get behind the.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Stage and rage rage behind the stage.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
It raised the stage.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
You're not gonna rage. Let me be clear, you guys
are not going to be on the stage. This is
rage behind the stage.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
What does it mean you have to go behind? Basically,
it's it's a Halloween version of coming backstage.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
No no, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Love you rhyme, but no, those seats in the back
it's the seats.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
These seats are behind this, so you were going to
watch the show on screens. But the cool belief, I know.
But the cool thing about these seats is one they're
very affordable.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
You get to see everything that we're doing.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Baxic.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Yes, so we have a round stage for Jinga and
so you see.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
The next that they're raging behind the staging. They're raging,
and I'm just you know, there they are. I watch the.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Time, no matter where I'm sitting.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Yeah, I sometimes I have to watch the screens as well.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Anyway, let's get to these trigger treating neighborhoods that are
really great. Ruby, what do you have for us?

Speaker 9 (16:30):
Yes, So whether you're you know, taking a little one
out tonight or hitting the streets yourself, here are the
best places to trick or treat in La. So first
we have to go to Venice Beach the Canal Community.
Parking is a little rough there, but they definitely go
all out. Every house is decorated and ready to hound
out treats. Plus obviously you can't go wrong the scenery there.
It's just is really beautiful.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Does the Canal community appreciate us announcing this and sending
people down there as to be too crowded.

Speaker 9 (16:59):
You think they go out out so people don't show up, Like, No,
they love to see you know, people come through.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (17:04):
Next is Allegria Street in Sierra Madre between Baldwin and
Mountain Trail.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
So this is just east of Pasadena.

Speaker 9 (17:10):
It's become known for its Halloween decorated craftsmen homes and bungalows.
There's hundreds of families that come to see the decorations. Uh,
and professionally carved pumpkins. So you can't get wrong there.
The Mountain Trail.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Okay, Maria, my trail. I thought I heard you say.
Did I do that right? Like?

Speaker 2 (17:31):
If that's she says mountain, then let it be. Yes,
it is my accent.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
But thet bar.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
The thing with breakfast, breakfast, well puts in al in bow.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
That is the next level, exact same thing, just the
way I say it.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
I feel so judged right now, Tanya. You know what, No, no, no, Ruby,
It is a right of passage. This is just what
Ryan does. He's he does it to all of us.
So wellcome to the club.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Well we gotta have something, y'all team up on me.
That's next.

Speaker 9 (18:05):
Next is Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. This has become
an annual tradition. Families come for the candy and stay
for dinner and shopping. Hundreds of shops host a safe
early trigger treating session from three to six pm.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
So I love.

Speaker 9 (18:21):
Early Yeah, and of course the beautiful two. Of course
the beautiful view of the ocean, so you can't go
wrong there.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
And this is actually one of my favorites.

Speaker 9 (18:30):
Angelino Heights between Carol and Douglas Street. At one hundred
and twenty five years old, it's one of the oldest
neighborhoods in La so very you know, classic Victorian homes
that are already kind of spooky, but again they decorate them.
Residents of Carrol Avenue, sometimes known as the Haunted District,
go all out and they definitely don't skimp on any

(18:53):
of the candy either.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
So one of my favorite spots.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Fino Stairs lead up to an outdoor porch, can just
feel haunting. Yeah, you know, yeah, Jojo is doing his
morning routine, so I've got him on the live line
right here. You know, I think of you a lot,
but I really think of you. That is this your
favorite holiday? Halloween?

Speaker 4 (19:13):
This is my favorite.

Speaker 10 (19:14):
This is my super Bowl, this is this is I
love it, and it's often I do this year round,
but this is sort of like the biggest moment of
the entire year all in one. For me, it's just
Halloween is the greatest. I even love the lead up
to Halloween more than the actual day of follows.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Well, that's how I feel about Christmas. I get very sad.
You get sad tomorrow.

Speaker 10 (19:34):
I do love. Luckily, I love Christmas, so it's not
that much of a letdown. This basically the Halloween season
kind of kicks off, you know, the best part of
the year. So I'm okay. But it is sad to
see when when the scary movies go off. But luckily
a couple of good Christmas movies are on, so that's cool.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
In a weird way. The hope that Jojo has in
believing this stuff is true is romantic. I don't believe.
I don't want I want to believe some of this
stuff because it will just scare me, so I have
to fight it.

Speaker 10 (20:04):
Well, are you a spiritual person, because if you.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Are kinder to it, I'm a karma Karma person. Yeah, okays,
mcarma is here. Okay, so let's talk about this. You've
got a big Halloween themed show coming up later. Tell
us what's happening.

Speaker 10 (20:23):
Okay, the Halloween show. We got a couple of things.
First of all, I do this every year, and I've
taken calls all year for this, you know, particular show,
among other shows. But I talk to people who've had
real paranormal encounters, real ones, things that even you don't believe. Ryan,
when you talk to some of these people, it's hard
not to believe them. And uh, I'm talking to I

(20:45):
have a guest. I don't normally have a guest on Halloween.
I'm talking to Danny Elfman. Are you familiar with Danny Elfman?

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Danny Elfman. I do know Danny Elfman's work.

Speaker 10 (20:53):
Something Danny Elfman is that he's the listeners that you know,
trust me. He's the guy that did the music for Beatles,
Both Field, Juices, Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas. He is the
singing voice for Jack. He is Jack Skellington. Basically, he's
just mister Halloween and he's got a paranormal encounter on

(21:13):
top of that. So it's just it's just mean, the
perfect It's fascinating. I can't Gus, what.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
You do want to hear this afternoon when you're on
your way home getting ready for your Halloween event or eating,
and then Jojo has to rita. You'll be in this.
You'll be in the car, you know, racing around to
get back to get everything all set up for your
trigger trading, and then Joe's gonna be doing this and
it's gonna freak you out, and you want to be
freaked out today, Let's just admit that.

Speaker 10 (21:40):
Do you want to hear a real ghost story?

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Quickly? Yes?

Speaker 10 (21:43):
Okay, Halsey, this is not like a I saw a
ghost story. But Halsey told me that she as a kid,
she would recite these numbers. She never told me what
the number was, but for example, one, two, three, four, five,
she would say this number, she would sing it, she
would yell it, just this number, over and over. Her
aunt came over, which was her mom's sister, and she
heard little Halsey saying these numbers over and over. So

(22:05):
she said, you know what that number is? Like, no,
I don't know what it is. That was her great
grandmother's home phone number that she kept reciting over and
over and over. Now, how did she get that nobody.
She doesn't know. I said, was there a post it
note somewhere? There's no post it note? I was a
little kid. How would I know this? How Ryan, how
would she know that? What's your take on that? Unless

(22:26):
I don't think she is.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Grandma is trying to tap in.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Very good intuition. Oh way, that gives me chills.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Grandma's there. The grandma's trying to tap in. The Grandma's
saying call me great.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Grandma's fine.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Great Grandma is fine.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
I don't want other people that come.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah you want all right, we'll see this afternoon.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Thanks brother. Time for Ryan's roses words. You may wait
for every week. And this is what we do Mondays
and Thursdays. That's the schedule. Dear Ryan, Issisani and Tanya.
Here's the email I got. It's a public services the
email he reached out to us. Jessica actually did and

(23:08):
Whittier So my husband's high school sweetheart confessed her love
for him. He did not tell me, and now he's
acting differently, bringing Jessica in right now. Jessica, thanks for
holding on there for a second while we uh bring
the context into play. You say in the email, I'm
really afraid he's going back to the one that got away.
So how did you know that she professed her current

(23:32):
love like she still loves him.

Speaker 11 (23:35):
Yeah, Well, so basically they were high school sweethearts. They
were homecoming King and Queen, and everyone thought they would
be together forever. She's apparently, like, in my opinion, the
one that got away. She texted him recently and apparently
she got divorced. He told me that my heart completely sunk,

(23:57):
and he shrugged it off and was like, it's no
big deal, bad, nothing to worry about. Then out of nowhere,
he started like going to the gym more and dressing better.
He changed his haircut, which really got me suspicious, And
I looked at his phone, and why.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Do you think he'd still be in love with her now?

Speaker 11 (24:18):
Well, she texted him that she's always loved him and
she thought about him all the time throughout their marriage.
What she feels terrible about how things ended between them,
And he's never really told me exactly what happened, Like
he's never been clear as to why. And he occasionally
brings up you know, there's photos in his mom's house,

(24:40):
like he occasionally brings up times together with them, and
so it just, you know, set off my feelers, you know,
in a weird way.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Okay, how long ago was all of this?

Speaker 4 (24:58):
I mean this was high school.

Speaker 11 (25:00):
He and I have been married for five years, so
at least fifteen years.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Okay, you know, I mean this is what movies are
made about.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
I'm saying you discovered all of this on his phone,
so it's all the evidence is all there.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Did he respond to the text of her confessing the love.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
No, he didn't like.

Speaker 11 (25:18):
When I saw the text, there was no response, and
that was like a week ago, and I still just
don't feel right about it.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
No, you have an intuition and you should.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Okay, I wouldn't.

Speaker 11 (25:29):
He said it was nothing, but I just don't feel
like it's nothing nothing the first love.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Later, we're going to make this call and find out
what's going on.

Speaker 10 (25:41):
M Okay, I don't thank you.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
What's her name? Do you have her name?

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (25:45):
Her name is Maya.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
My face gets red every time we get into this,
takes it out of this is like a physical call.
We made right, right, so we got Here's what we learned.
Jessica on the line. She's married, obviously her husband, and
she found a text in his phone that his high
school sweetheart confessed her love, never felt out of love,

(26:10):
always loved him and still loves him. And she's concerned
that maybe he is going to go back to her
because she's the one that got away and she.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Doesn't know exactly how they broke up, which is interesting,
but like why would she sounds his heart was shattered
by the.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Ex Maya is her name, the ex? But I think
that this is something that could be like if he
still had feelings and she reached out, does he say
he's got to follow his heart? Like, I don't know.
This could go either way for me. But is he cheating?
We don't know, but I'm saying maybe he's not cheating,

(26:58):
but he's still in love.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
But all the changes that she said, he's working out more,
he changed his hairstyle, he's dressing better, Like, well.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
Maybe that just gave him a little more pepinist step.
Not necessarily anything that's.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Such a bad thing. You start taking care of yourself.
I mean, wouldn't that become a crime.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
It's still annoying that the ex is the reason why
he did that.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Jessica needs you to say, Ryan, you have my permission
to call your husband. Go ahead, Ryan.

Speaker 11 (27:23):
You have my permission to call my husband.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
We're going to do it right now. Be very quiet.
Let's see what we can find out, see what we
can learn. We are going to offer him some roses
and see who he sends them to. Who is top
of mind? Is it may or Jessica? We don't know.
The love is first love, the love he had in
high school. A good luck, Jessica. Let's see what we

(27:47):
can find out.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Hi, is this Freddy?

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Yeah? This is this is Freddy.

Speaker 12 (28:05):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
My name is Marina. I'm calling from Enchanted Blooms you
actually deliver in Whittier and all over LA parts of OC.
We're just doing a promotion today. It's a free dozen
red roses that you can send to anybody that you like.
They're free. I don't need cash from you or anything
like that. Is there anybody who'd like to send roses to?

Speaker 4 (28:24):
I think you got the wrong person.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
No, no, no. We do this promotion about like once a month,
and you were selected today. They are free. I don't
need cash or a credit card or any info from you.
You can send them out by lunchtime today. Just the
name of the person you want to send them to.
We can start with the note.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Oh wow, wait you like your You're serious?

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Is just I'm serious? Yes? Are you local in the
area in Whittier?

Speaker 4 (28:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Great? So who would you like to send roses to?

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Like? You don't need credit card or anything. You don't
need like that, just nope, like a name, an address
or something.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
We can just start with the name and then the
note and then we'll get to tell the other stuff later.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Oh well, okay, awesome, Yeah, sure, you can send it
to Jessica.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Okay, and I would you like to put on the card.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
You can write, Yeah, let's do this. You can write
to my sweet love always and forever.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Okay, Freddy, your voice is being broadcast on the radio
right now. My name is Ryan. I've got your wife
Jessica on the line. Great to have you on with us.
Sistan and Tani are here with me, and we're calling
you out of concern that she has information that your
high school sweetheart has reached back out to you and

(29:53):
told you that she's never stopped loving you and she's
still in love with you, and frankly, she's worried that
that might be the one that got away, and you
may still have feelings for your high school sweetheart, and
beyond that, maybe even already seeing her, we're going to
leave her for I mean, that's really what this is about.
Do you want to respond to any of those three notions?

Speaker 4 (30:14):
That was a lot, Okay, I see, let's see. Uh.
I mean, I can understand what the concern would be,
but I mean, nothing like that is happening. I'll say
that for sure.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Did you respond to the text your high school sweetheart
scenting you confessing her love.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
No, I actually didn't respond to that. I called her
right away, and yeah, immediately, and I told her in
no uncertain terms that I'm happily married and we have
an amazing daughter, and I don't appreciate her comming into
our lives and trying to cause trouble.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I can appreciate you saying that actually right now.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
No, I mean it was such a quick, like short
thing that happened, and and I didn't want to worry
her or you know, make her think anything else was
happening like that, so I just took care of it.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Jessica, would you like to speak to your husband about
this moment about his response here?

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Do you believe me?

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (31:27):
Hi, Freddy, I'm first, thank you for the roses. I
really appreciate that you thought of me first.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
You're welcome with me. I just.

Speaker 11 (31:41):
Was worried because she sent that message saying that she
has a lot of regrets and she's always loved you.
And then you know, I've just gotten confused because you
started like changing your hair and going to the gym
and everything, and I'm just wanting to know what's going
on and why. And yeah, well, first first day, I

(32:05):
love you, I love our daughter.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
I would I would never ever cheat on you or
leave you. I mean, especially something as flippant as that.
But no, like when she when she reached out to me,
it did kind of make me realize a little bit.
Then I'm probably taking our marriage for granted and that
I should take better care of myself for you. Yeah,

(32:30):
so I just started going to the gym and getting
my life better.

Speaker 11 (32:36):
That makes me feel so much better. I'm so relieved
about the Oh my god, I really was thinking that
you were, you know, beefing up to go out with
her again, and she's gonna leave me and try. I
just I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
No confidence here in this relationship. I think it sounds
like a good one. Jessica I'm so happy this turned
out the way it did. Freddy, I'm literally in love
with you.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
Yeah, honestly, Sam, I'm married to just so no.

Speaker 7 (33:02):
I know we've been road on air on air with
a Ryan Seacrest, Air on air with a Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Would you explain how we get the batting average real quick?
Here Mark one of two point seven, kiss of him?
How dos to do with Ryan's roses? From me here?

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Okay?

Speaker 12 (33:24):
Batting average is number of hits divided by number of
it bats. So if you get a hit thirty percent
of the time, you have a three hundred batting average.
Just to make it, you know, relative terms. We all
know what a percentage is, and that's what it is.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Happy Halloween. And I bring this up because I think
we've got about a three hundred. We're batten about a
three hundred on good news Ryan's roses.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Oh yeah, okay, I see.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Now we're batten about three hundred and good news Ryan's roses.
Stories aren't a plethora of them, but there are some
good ones. We just had a great This was like
on the scariest day of the year. We just had
the sweetest Ryan's roses.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
You did. I don't know. I'm not completely sold on Freddy.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Freddy the perfect name for perfect name for Halloween.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Roses, like Freddy Krueger.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
I didn't even think about that till now. Fred Well,
Freddy Krueger. I was thinking for home. Yeah, so Freddie. Basically,
now here's the deal. His wife thought that he was
still in love with his high school sweetheart, and it
just she played out this whole drama in her head
right like she got made the created a narrative that
he was going to possibly leave her to go back

(34:36):
to this high school sweetheart because high school sweetheart and
dad on the high school sweetheart for texting him and
professing his undying lab And then he said he called her,
which made me a little nervous. But then he said
and no uncertain terms. Was I interested? I'm very happily
married and we've got a beautiful daughter. When he said

(34:57):
no uncertain terms again to really like the guy. And
then when he confidently professed his love for his wife,
what's wrong, Tanya?

Speaker 5 (35:07):
Can you not have this music in the background.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
It's Halloween, I know, but hit not.

Speaker 5 (35:12):
Like roses.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
If it's halloweens, people are people are getting ready for
school in their costumes. Oh, I know, right, and people
are dressed up.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Come on what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
You can't focus on what I'm saying. No, it should
be a blessing anyway, let's get back to it. But
Freddie basically sent the roses to his wife. We believed him.
He had the sound of a truthful person, and I
professed my love to him. All right, Sandra, how are
you this morning? Heymn good? Are you happy Halloween?

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Happy Halloween?

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Tony. You can't get over the fact that I'm playing
Halloween music while talking about Ryan's roses. I mean, the
squinty face you're making it.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
I like it, just not the time.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
So law Dale, Sandra, you heard Ryan's roses? Tell me.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
I kind of get the vibe that he's hiding something.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Thank you. I feel the same way.

Speaker 11 (36:12):
Yeah, Like his answers were all so prepared, and it
was like it was like he was waiting for it
to happen, like he was waiting for something like that
to come down on him.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Like I also think he should have been more transparent
about the text and like said, he actually made the
phone call, like he should have said something.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
Yes, why did he keep it from his wife? If
there was nothing to worry about. Yeah, I don't like
that he didn't tell me.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
He didn't want to open up the can of worms
because there's nothing.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Worry need to have communication in a marriage. This is
hiding something significant.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
I don't know why, trying to pick it apart. Now,
this guy's a good guy.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 6 (36:47):
If you got a text message like that, you would
tell Michael and be like, yeah, look at rock in
high school. Send me this text like uh whatever, I
already shut it down about how weird.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
But maybe he just wanted to shut it down and
not have the conversation. And why about what he's good?

Speaker 2 (37:02):
I don't know. I'm just a little dated.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
I guess so many I don't know.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
But we need to we're trying to increase our batting
average here and yeah we need to be less cynical.

Speaker 8 (37:17):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 10 (37:17):
I just cat the vibes that he was hiding something.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
That's all yep.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Maybe he's hiding his true feelings. Maybe he won't act
on it. But deep, deep, deep down inside, she is
the one that got away, and.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Too late.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
It's too late. Now he has a kid. He doesn't
want to break up his marriage. But is he really
in love?

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Well, Sandra, I don't know. I actually liked it the
way we left it, which we thought he was a
good guy and he was doing the right thing. But
thank you for listening. Ryan's Roses, Mondays and Thursdays. We
do that. Yeah, my dad was a lawyer, so I
studied some law with.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
You didn't study law.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yes, I studied law. He made me read contracts when
I was a boy as punishment, no, as enlightenment.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
I'll be happy to whatever I got in trouble, I
had to do like book reports or learn excel or.
That was the way I was able to get out
of being grounded contract law, the same thing your dad
was doing, the same thing my dad was doing. But
just like I found it very accounting, you know, like, yeah,
I found.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
It very interesting. How deliberate you must be in your
language you're learning this. Isn't your husband a lawyer?

Speaker 5 (38:21):
Yes he is.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Take a pause, think before you speak that type of stuff.

Speaker 6 (38:25):
He's very technical about to be definitive everything.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Yeah, Like if you ask him question and then you
answer with the vague answer, question, let's back it up here.
You actually answered the question. Yeah, that wasn't the question
Oh my god, my daddy saying it all the time.
But that wasn't that wasn't the question.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
Sometimes I'm like having an argument, I'll be like, put
the lawyer hat down.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
This is rob Yeah, this is to Robbie here.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Okay, So sistany West Hollywood's gonna be buzzing.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
It really is. I didn't know about this silly string law, Ryan,
but there is a silly string law in Hollywod's specific
because there's been a lot of damage back in the
day due to silly string, thousands of dollars in property
damage and even other people's cars. People get drunk and
they start spraying the silly string and it gets everywhere

(39:15):
and then it can't come out. So they say, if
you do and you're caught, you could face up to
six months in jail and the fine is like a
thousand dollars if not more. But speaking of tonight, Halloween
Carnival is taking place from six to eleven and it's
free to attend, and it's like a one mile stretch.
I mean, we all have been there at least once,

(39:35):
and so you know how crazy it gets. Santa Monica
Boulevard between Dohani and L Sienaga right there in the
hard West Hollywood. It is packed. And when I say packed,
and if you're new to La, this is the party
craziest area to be in, thousands upon thousands upon thousands
of people will be there. There's DJ stages. It's just
a lot of fun, but a big commitment.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
It was in the parade once. I'll remember that.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Yeah, but I've Dennis's house to get ready.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
I've definitely like hosted, like I hosted like a rooftop
thing there one year. It was just so it's a
lot of fun, it really is. But like parking's gonna
be a nightmare or maybe ride share and where the
best talk you got.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
We parked at Dennis Clark's house because his house, you know,
is there.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
You have to find somebody that lives in West Hollywood
and park and we got.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Ready to his play. Actually we had dinner and he
got ready at his place, so it was kind of fun. Okay,
so let's get to playing password here for your jingle
Ball tickets presented by Capital One. We have a contestant
on the line here. Now this is going to be,
you know, very simple way usually I think we just
played till they win. Right, there's no no ending to
this until you win. So this is kind of the

(40:43):
game you want to be a part of, going to
Hemmett right now, what's your name, contestant?

Speaker 4 (40:47):
This is carda Hiday, Carla.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
It's all of us. How you doing good?

Speaker 5 (40:53):
How are you guys?

Speaker 1 (40:55):
We're great, Happy Halloween, Happy Halloween time. So we're gonna
play for rage behind the stage tickets to our jingle
Ball presented by Capital One. It's called password. So here's
how it works. Yeah, those of us in the room
and everybody listening is going to know the password, but

(41:15):
you will not. We'll give you one word clues. Each
one of those clues hopefully will get you closer togain
guessing the password. Hold on one second, Carla, Mark the
password is doorbell. I mean, don't forget.

Speaker 5 (41:32):
You cannot use the word in your clue.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
Yeah, I know that, Okay, just making sure. Okay, Well me, me, okay,
this is impossible.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
Why it's not impossible.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
It's hard.

Speaker 2 (41:45):
I'll start if you want.

Speaker 5 (41:46):
Yeah, I got one.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Okay, fine, you guys braggers. Carla, the password is no.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
No, you don't tell her the best, Carla.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
Here we go isn't gonna start with your first clue?

Speaker 2 (41:59):
Chime?

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Yeah, impossible. Okay, you want to guess what it is?
That's hard?

Speaker 10 (42:08):
No, I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
What the fact, Tanya enter?

Speaker 2 (42:16):
This is so hard right over there, sir, chime and.

Speaker 10 (42:23):
Alarm.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
Okay, oh, come on, Ryan, give me a good one.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
All right, all right, all right? Uh uh? What was
the past?

Speaker 2 (42:34):
We're gonna take it out. I have another one.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
One hold on, hold on okay, uh knob.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Oh my god, no, okay, let me go.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
Chime, inter knob ring, chime, interknob ring. You didn't give
a chance to guess with mine.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
She wasn't going to the door, the front door.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
Yeah, yeah, alf of it. I got half of it.
I can't say that.

Speaker 5 (43:07):
You can't say that.

Speaker 1 (43:08):
Is that your clue about this? We don't the rules
we make up as this is a fluid show. The
rules change. I'm a rule follower, and okay, so when
you've got half of it? But well, if I say no,
that's not gonna help her.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
W do they keep going? Give her another clue? Kanye House,
Now it would have been easier.

Speaker 1 (43:35):
I don't know. It was a hard one for us.
I don't know how you gotta get it for me. Yeah,
you got to get there just by process of elimination. Well, anyway,
you're going to rage behind the stage owner Jingleball, Thank
you for listening to us.

Speaker 5 (43:47):
Awesome.
