Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Seacrest.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Good morning, everybody.
Nice to see you guys.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Oh, I noticed our intern's not in after we talked
about her boyfriend and the secret admirer. Did something happen?
Is she okay? No, she's here.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
She's probably in the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
At the end of the show yesterday, she revealed she
had a secret admirer at USC and she's got a
current boyfriend and then she doesn't show up the next morning.
I worry.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
No, she's here.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Anything could have happened overnight. Does anybody have to worry
about these things?

Speaker 6 (00:34):
I feel like you had a secret admirer at one point.
It's ringing bells.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I never had someone leave me a cryptic, flirty note
signed secret admirer. No, I had one of those, what
do you call them for Christmas? White Elephant? What's that
Christmas game you play?

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Yeah, White Elephant.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, I had a secret person there. No, White Elephant
is not. Yeah, that's Secret Santa. Oh, Secret Santa. I
had a Secret Santa.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
No, that's not what's ringing the bell.

Speaker 7 (01:05):
No.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
I'm going to have to think back on that.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Think back on that. So it is Friday, September 11th,
the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. And when you
see this date in the calendar and you reach this date,
you think about all of the lives lost.

Speaker 8 (01:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
An unforgettable day. That was, you know, the families are
impacted forever. So we think about that and rightfully observed
this day, Friday, nine 11, 2026. Also this morning, it
is national emergency responders day. You got to give emergency

(01:44):
responders credit today as well. The first people on the scene,
I just like nine 11 running into everything, not running away,
running into it all. So we salute all of them.
And as we shift gears and get moving this morning,
you are going to encounter some good sunshine and some
real heat, 80s and 90s. Ronnie will be out with

(02:04):
relief in the form of free gas in Woodland Hills.
And we have free gas all morning here, too, to win.
So it's a free gas Friday. Next, I'm going to
pay a bill. 22.7 KISS FM. Ryan Seacrest here. How
many of us have had somebody in our lives for
a long time and realized that you put their name,

(02:24):
you misspelled their name wrong in your contacts? And you
may have called them by the wrong name. I have
your name wrong, Sissini, in my contacts still.

Speaker 9 (02:32):
Still? It's been like 20 years.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, because I put it in there before I'd seen
it ever. And I guessed what Sissini's spell was. And
there it is. I actually had my friend Regan. I
had his name spelled wrong for a long time, too.
He finally corrected me like five years into our friendship,
but I never went back and adjusted in my context. Why?
My sister's husband, my brother-in-law.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
Yes, that's who that is.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I spelled his name wrong, too. And it's still in
there as Jimmy Lee. Oh, I was like, how did
you miss this Jimmy? It's Jimmy Leach. But I only
got to the Lee part before I moved on. You
really gave up. I didn't even get to the CH.
But it's still in there wrong. Why can't I go
back and correct it?

Speaker 9 (03:19):
It doesn't bother you. When I know something's wrong, I
have to go back and fix it.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Generally but i don't know what my contacts yeah i'm.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
The same as ryan once you're in like if you're
in as like somebody the kiss intern and you're used
to get hired you're still in my phone is kissing yes.

Speaker 9 (03:34):
I have a banana.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I have uh derrick huff's name in my contacts is
dwts winner.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Yeah i would leave it like that.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Too same page your husband spelled your name wrong Yeah.

Speaker 10 (03:52):
Why does it feel so wrong, though, when someone like
especially someone so close to you misspells your name?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Like I was appalled. This is not even in the
same category conversation. This is your forever person. I know.
What happened?

Speaker 10 (04:04):
It was a group chat that my friend put us
in and she was just asking about dinner plans. And
he's like, yeah, I'm not going to be able to
make it. But Ruby with a Y will be going.
And I just like stopped everything I was doing. I
was like, that must be. Maybe he's just like working quickly.
He just, you know, misspelled. He'll correct it.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
He did not correct it. But are you sure that
wasn't the phone? Because my phone does that often. Like
I call somebody Brian and they spell it the wrong Brian.

Speaker 10 (04:31):
Well, I obviously called it out. And he was like, oh, sorry.
I was using voice to text.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Yeah, voice to text. That's true. My voice text. Also,
I keep saying Aileen and it spells Eileen.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Well, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
And when I want this Brian, it spells the other Brian.
So it is not your, thank goodness.

Speaker 10 (04:51):
I know.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Your partner, your husband.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Isn't misspelling your name.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
I get mad if he doesn't remember my shoe size.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
And he saw my name wrong.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Oh, you wouldn't want to know.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
What is your shoe size while we're at it?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
So we all remember.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
It's an eight. But like, I'm like, also, if he
doesn't remember my phone number.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
So when I say your name, listening into my voice talk,
it wants to call Tiffany.

Speaker 9 (05:11):
Well, of course, my name would be really difficult to
the voice talk.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Situation all right coming up here at kiss fm free

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Buddy Good morning. I'm doing great. How are you? Great.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
So you're ready for another day, a big successful day
yesterday in receipt of giving away free gas.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
So now you're back.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
And now I'm in Woodland Hills.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Tell me about Woodland Hills and your relationship with it.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Well, you know, I don't really know too much about
Woodland Hills, but I feel like Kim Kardashian lives in
this area.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
I'm trying to go say hi.

Speaker 11 (06:03):
Ish.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Maybe.

Speaker 8 (06:04):
A Jake Cent, for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
So you're over the hill, and if people got to
get up and fill their tank before their commute over
the other side of the hill, you're going to try
and help them out. Who did you find early this morning?

Speaker 4 (06:16):
So there was a girl sitting here in her car,
but she ran inside. I was about to walk up
on her, but I think she got nervous. So now
I see a boy right here, and I'm going to
go up to him right now.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Oh, hold on. She's coming back. Hold on. Two seconds.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
What are you going to do?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Hi. My name is Ronnie. I work with Kiss FM.
You see our vans here.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I want to know if you want some free gas
today from Ryan Seacrest. He's on the phone with me
right now.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Free gas. Yes. Free gas. Like I'll fill up your,
your tank. Yes. What's your name? Kimari. Okay. Ryan Seacrest
is on the phone here. He's going to talk to
you right now. Hello.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Kimari, hi. You're on 102.7 KISS FM.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
How are you? Good.

Speaker 11 (07:03):
And yourself?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
I'm good. My name is Ryan. That is Ronnie who
works for us, and he is out just randomly giving
away free tanks of gas. So there's no catch. He
literally is going to pay for your full tank.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (07:17):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
He was a little worried, Kimari, because we came to
him live on the air, and you had walked into
the store for a second.

Speaker 11 (07:26):
Yes, I was just going to get some air in
a tire.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I was just debating if I wanted to get some
gas or not.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
That is so crazy.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, well, we're going to take care of it. Let
us fill you up.

Speaker 9 (07:37):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 11 (07:38):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
It's a pleasure. Where are you headed?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I'm actually headed to L.A.

Speaker 11 (07:44):
To go to school.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
You just went down on that. You were so excited,
then you kind of got sad.

Speaker 9 (07:50):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
I'm actually heading down to L.A.

Speaker 11 (07:54):
To go to school.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
That still sounded sad. We're going to pay for your air, too.
We'll spring for that $ 1 of air as.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Well, okay?

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Oh, my.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Thank you, Kamari. Good luck at school today, and thank
you so much for letting Ronnie pay for your gas.

Speaker 10 (08:10):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
You guys have a good one.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
You, too. All right.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Bye-bye. You can just pull your car up over here
when you're done. No problem. Hey, you guys.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
That was great, Ronnie. Good job. You're making people happy.
We love it. Thank you very much. We'll come back
to you later.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Talk to you guys soon.

Speaker 10 (08:27):
Bye.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Okay. Ronnie Henry out with Free Gas. It's not his
original role here at Kiss. He's the digital guy, but
he's having a blast making friends and fans. Giving away
Free Gas more in Woodland Hills later. And next, you
do not want this in your profile picture on a
dating app. I'll tell you what it is.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I know.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
If you have a dating app profile, you will get
a lot less responses if you have this photo. It's
a cat. You don't want a photo with a cat
in your dating profile. Cat haters. Single people holding cats
were viewed as more neurotic and less dateable. That's so sad.
It's very stereotyping, isn't it? It is.

Speaker 9 (09:08):
And it's worse probably for a guy than a girl.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Even if you love cats, grab a dog for the photo.
Dogs are more marketable. That's what it says. Dogs have
the opposite effect. Today's quote, here it is, everyday quote.
No matter how much weight you lift or how slowly
you run, you always beat the version of you that
stayed home. That is true. It's not the truth. You

(09:34):
got to put on the cleats and hit the field. Yeah,
move your body. Right. You can't get into the game
unless you get to the stadium.

Speaker 7 (09:42):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
To the field. And Mikayla agrees with the cat concept. Huh, Mikayla?
I do. I don't know what it is right now.
Men posting photos with cats.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
Me and my roommates are not into it.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
You would not swipe right on the cat guy.

Speaker 7 (09:55):
No.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I'm a dog person. And allergic to cats.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
So that's a no for me.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Elani on Kiss FM. After 7 o'clock, would you go
on a second date if all of his friends were
going to be there? That is interesting. First, Cicely headlines.
Kiss FM headlines with Cicely.

Speaker 9 (10:10):
Well, Lineage Logistics is suing three companies involved with the
rooftop solar system at its Boyle Heights cold storage facility,
claiming their.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Work contributed to the June fire.

Speaker 9 (10:21):
Laguna Beach proclaimed a local emergency due to ongoing coastal
erosion and sand movement related to former Hurricane Marie. Diesel
prices hit another record high this morning, which could push
up the cost of, well, everything from groceries to packages.
And the Rams kicked off their season last night in
Australia with a 27-7 loss to the 49ers.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Kiss FM. Tanya has a trending report on the way.
We are about to pay a bill, and Lexi's on
the phone in Downey. So, Lexi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
You were asked to go on a first date with
all of his friends?

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Second date.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
A second date. Okay. So tell me the scenario. Okay.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
So I met this guy on hinge and we went
on one date. That was very nice. Um, definitely liked him,
was interested in seeing him again. And that was last weekend. Um,
so last night he texted me, my friends and I
are going out tomorrow night if you want to join us.
And I don't really know what that means. Um, Like,

(11:27):
is this his version of a second date? Because I'm
open to seeing him again, but I don't really want
to go out with a bunch of dudes.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Yeah, I don't like it at all.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
So is it not, it would be better for me,
more soft landing if it were their dudes and their girlfriends.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
I mean, it just sounded like his dudes.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
It's like, I'm not sure if he invited me because
he likes me and wants me to meet his friends
or like.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
He's already going out. Does he want you to bring
your friends?

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
He did not mention that.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
That's a good move, though. I have to say, I've
done this in several different versions.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
I have had like a date and then said, hey,
if you want, my friends are this other place. We
can go meet up with them.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
No problem. You have any friends are out. Let's all
meet up. I've done that. I've also done the I
want to see my friends and I want to go
out with somebody. But I only have one night that month. Oh,
my God. Everybody meets. It's very romantic.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
What?

Speaker 5 (12:28):
It's the opposite of romantic.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
What do you know about romance? Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:33):
More than I have to see my friends and I
have to date you.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Let's lump them all together.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I don't ever say things like that.

Speaker 8 (12:39):
You just said that. He doesn't use the word lump.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
And I don't say have to. Anyway, I don't think
I can give you good advice. Disney, what would you do?

Speaker 9 (12:48):
I don't mind it, but I would suggest that you
get to bring your friends too and be like, okay,
I'm going to bring a few girlfriends and go out.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Have fun.

Speaker 9 (12:55):
There's no pressure in it being a second date and
having to keep the conversation going the whole time and
think of questions to ask. It'll just be more relaxed.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I like a group date situation.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
I hate it.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (13:07):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I haven't responded to him yet, so I think I
could maybe ask to bring my friends.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Maybe he's testing you to see how cool you are
with that.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Once you get into this.
Bad don't tell him you called us i think it's
cool if she's like i don't care i'll hang with
your bro i think.

Speaker 9 (13:23):
So too yeah it's giving cool girl vibes.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
All right lexi good luck let us know how it
goes right exactly.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
You give him an inch they'll take a mile it's.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Kind of like hey you want to go grab a
bite tonight i'll be ready in five minutes that's cool.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
Love that no that's not prioritizing her.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Sonia you don't get the concept of cool. No, the
concept of cool is you just roll with it. No,
I'm cool. I'm not chill.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (13:55):
Tanya's not a roller.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
No, I'm not a chill.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Go with the flow.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Like you and I are chill.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Go with the flow.

Speaker 9 (14:00):
I'm not chill, but you want people to be chilling.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Go with the flow.

Speaker 7 (14:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Cause he's so type a. Okay.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Tanya, I'm so happy. You are off the market. I
don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
That was an amazing dater.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yes, we heard all about it. I met many of them.
All right, coming up.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
909.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Just saying for your sake, you're in a happy place.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
909.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
We're paying your bills now. Remember how stressful that was?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Yeah, for us.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Well, it's time for the trending report. What's it about, Tanya?

Speaker 6 (14:31):
It's about Britney Spears' biopic.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
And Universal Pictures has officially moved forward with this. It
is based on her memoir, The Woman in Me.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
John M. Chu is directing.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
He is the Wicked director. And Liz Merriweather, who created
New Girl, is going to be writing the script. But
who is going to be playing Britney Spears herself? So
there are a few names flying around. I wanted you
guys to give your opinion. Maybe we all pick who
we think. And then when they announce who it's going
to be, one of us wins. So Olivia Holt is
the name that's being tossed around the most. She's from

(15:05):
Cruel Summer. You guys may know her from her music career.
Sabrina Carpenter is also.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
In the running. Sydney Sweeney from Euphoria.

Speaker 9 (15:12):
I see pictures of all these people side by side.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Olivia Holt. I'm just looking at a picture of her.
That's good casting.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
And she can sing.

Speaker 6 (15:20):
And she can sing. Anya Taylor-Joy from Queen's Gambit, Peaky Blinders.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Addison Rae. She's the TikToker singer.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
So everyone's in the running for this. Well, yeah, there's
a big list.

Speaker 6 (15:29):
Chloe Grace Moretz, Emma Roberts, and last but not least,
Florence Pugh, who I think would also be incredible.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
And the other way to go is just to find
an unknown person to break as a star. That's true.

Speaker 9 (15:43):
I kind of like when they do that because it's
hard to get a Sabrina Carpenter and me to not
see Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 6 (15:48):
So that's why I'm not choosing Sabrina Carpenter. As much
as I love her, I'm the same. I just see Sabrina.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Olivia Holt looks like a good choice.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
So is that who you want to pick? I think
we have to pick one.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
We have to pick one?

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I'll pick her, but I also think an unknown. I'll
pick her and an unknown. My observation, though, is look
at what the Michael movie did in terms of box office.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Right.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
I think that the biopic is the new superhero. Could be.
These biopics are the safe bet for studios because they
would bet on superheroes. Now they're betting on biopics.

Speaker 8 (16:20):
Right.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
And it's working. And I like it. Everybody's going to
go watch this movie.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Oh, exactly.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
It doesn't matter who's starring in it. Yeah, exactly. And
they're doing another Michael one. Yes, they are.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Who's your pick?

Speaker 1 (16:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (16:31):
It's based on.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
You know what's kind of crazy and I think it
could work? Addison Rae.

Speaker 7 (16:38):
Oh.

Speaker 9 (16:39):
I just feel like she gives me Britney vibes sometimes.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Why are you laughing? It's good.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Why are you laughing though?

Speaker 5 (16:46):
I'm going to go with Florence Pugh.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
But you thought about this all night.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
You spring it on us and then you laugh at
our answers. Yeah, then you laugh at our answers.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
Why?

Speaker 1 (16:54):
How does that make us feel? I'm not going to
play dodgeball.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
With you later.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
I'm so confused.

Speaker 8 (16:57):

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Us Yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
So let me brief you on this. We got free
gas for match game. We'll give you each separately a
phrase with a blank in it. Whoever gets the most
matches with our panel gets the gas card. We'll start
with you, contestant number one, Jasmine, okay?

Speaker 7 (17:47):
All right.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
All right, so just hang tight, Elizabeth. Jasmine, don't say
it out loud, but yours is Hollywood blank. So Hollywood,
and then what would most likely go after the word Hollywood?
Hollywood blank. Think about that. Stand by. Okay, what'd you say?
Hollywood what?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Hollywood Bowl.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Good one. Jonas Brothers tickets at the Hollywood Bowl. Giving
those away. Okay, so here we go. Sissany, Hollywood?

Speaker 11 (18:17):
Hollywood Bowl!

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Tanya? Hollywood Boulevard! Ruby.

Speaker 8 (18:23):
Hollywood Bowl.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Mikayla.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Hollywood Star.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Two bowls. That's good. You did a good job there, Jasmine. So, Elizabeth,
you got to get two to tie. Here you go.
Yours is L.A. blank. Think about that. L.A.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
What?

Speaker 1 (18:39):
What would they most likely say to this panel after
the L.A. in the blank?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
L.A.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Blank.

Speaker 7 (18:46):
L.A.

Speaker 5 (18:46):
Dodgers.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
L.A.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Dodgers. Yes, Cicely. Why didn't I say that? I said traffic. L.A. traffic.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Good one.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Sis and he said traffic. Tanya said?

Speaker 7 (18:59):
L.A.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Baby.

Speaker 7 (19:01):
L.A.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
What?

Speaker 4 (19:02):
Baby.

Speaker 7 (19:03):
L.A.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Baby.

Speaker 7 (19:04):
L.A. baby? L.A. baby.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
L.A.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Like an L.A.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
Baby born in L.A.? No, like L.A.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Baby.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
No? Nobody? Okay. All right.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Ruby, L.A. I said L.A. river. River over the Dodgers.
And Mikayla?

Speaker 2 (19:21):
I said L.A.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Dodgers.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
There you go. Well, I mean, L.A. Baby should be
a Dodger. It almost qualifies as it could be anything.
I'm going to give you. You're both going to get
free gas this morning. Thank you, Tanya. It was so unclear.
It was clear to me. Everybody says it.

Speaker 7 (19:42):
L.A.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Baby.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Where are you from?

Speaker 9 (19:43):
I'm from L.A., baby.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
I don't think I ever say I'm from L.A.

Speaker 9 (19:46):
I don't think I ever say I'm from L.A., baby.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I don't think I ever say I'm from L.A., baby. does. Anyway,
Elizabeth and Jasmine, congratulations. We got free gas for you both.
Thank you very much.

Speaker 7 (19:58):
Yay.

Speaker 11 (19:58):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (19:59):
Enjoy.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
All right.

Speaker 9 (20:01):
Hold on one second.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
I just say, where are you guys from?

Speaker 3 (20:04):
L.A.? L.A., baby.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Come on. Never once have I said that.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Is it just me or
have I been down this path with every intern in
the last eight months here at Kiss FM? They meet
a guy, they date the guy, then they start ticking
a clock, and then we get involved. Like the guy
needs to do something. What's the clock? Well, the clock is,
remember with Sophia?

Speaker 7 (20:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (20:36):
That was different. They weren't boyfriend and girlfriend yet. She
wanted him.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
To ask her out. She wanted to give an ultimatum.
Then she wanted to lay it down by saying, look,
you got a week. You got 10 days. Whatever it was.
Skeletor and Sophia. We had to get involved in that.
It worked out. I actually wonder if they're still together.

Speaker 9 (20:51):
Remember she went to Italy?

Speaker 3 (20:52):
I know.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
I don't know what happened after that. Mark, you don't
ever update us on the fun stuff like this. Whatever
happened to Skeletor and Sophia?

Speaker 5 (21:01):
They survived the trip.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Bella, our intern from USC, what's the ticking clock about
this time?

Speaker 7 (21:07):
I just think that he hasn't been putting as much
effort anymore, and he's too comfortable.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
And what makes you say that?

Speaker 7 (21:15):
Well, okay, so it started in April because he forgot
our two-year anniversary. And then since then, I told him
he needed to make an effort and more of it,
and he just hasn't.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
And he has not. I am guilty of missing anniversaries.
That is a hard one.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
That is bad.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
No.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
I even remember somebody saying to me at one point,
what should we do tomorrow? Leading me on, I'm like,
probably just chill. Shouldn't we go out and do something
for something? I'm like, no, I think we should just chill.
Why are you looking at me with no blinking? And
then it was, of course, an anniversary, but I felt

(21:53):
terrible afterwards. I think I missed it again. So maybe
he's just not good at that.

Speaker 8 (21:59):
Maybe he's not. I think I'm just more sentimental and
he's not.

Speaker 7 (22:03):
So he said he would try to like, I'm not
asking for a ton of roses at my doorstep.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
You just want to remember with a card.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
Like I just want a little bit more effort for
him to reach out and try to hang out with
me more. Cause I've just, I've just distanced myself. And like,
if I don't ask to hang out, then we won't
hang out for a while.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
You've distanced yourself. So what if he doesn't step up?
Have you thought about that?

Speaker 7 (22:26):
Well, I just think if he wants me in his life,
then he'll try. And if he doesn't, then that's my sign.
And that I deserve something better.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
It's dark, but you know what? It's very honest of her.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
It is.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
And she knows what she wants.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
And if he's not giving it to her, she's got
the secret admirer. Yeah, does the secret admirer have any
influence on this? What up, Diego?

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yeah, Diego.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Diego from the lab. We got our eye on you
on LinkedIn, bro. I understand. And I think you're at
a very peaceful place of like, if he wants to
spend time with me, I deserve him showing a little effort.
And if he doesn't, he won't. And I shall move on.
That is self-confidence. We like it.

Speaker 7 (23:05):
It is.

Speaker 9 (23:05):
It's also very like senior-esque of you. Like this is
your senior year. You're done with the BS. Like if
he can't step up, you're going to eventually move on
to bigger and better things.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Right.

Speaker 6 (23:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (23:16):
He made a comment one time that was like, I
have all of college to hang out with my friends,
but I'll have a girlfriend or wife for the rest
of my life.

Speaker 8 (23:24):
So right now I want to be with my friends.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Well, that's not a boyfriend comment.

Speaker 8 (23:28):
That's not a bad thing.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
No, that's not a comment.

Speaker 7 (23:30):
How are you supposed to find a wife if you
don't want to stop hanging out with your friends?

Speaker 1 (23:33):
This guy is whack. Let's see where this goes. We're
going to track it.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
All right.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Coming up next, paying a bill in a 3-2-3. We
know there's been a trend in just not consuming as
much alcohol. With Degeneration, not drinking as much, not hanging
out at certain places, going to clubs. And now LA
is doing something cool called the Daybreaker. It's basically, it's
a coffee rage.

Speaker 7 (23:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (23:58):
It's a full-on rave, but during the day.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
You rage at the rave. You rage at the rave.
It's a lot of cool stuff.

Speaker 9 (24:04):
A lot of cool vibes, DJs dancing. It's a packed
dance floor from the videos and the pictures that I've seen.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
But yeah, you're right.

Speaker 9 (24:10):
There's no alcohol and it's in the morning. So it's
not like your normal club scene that you would do
late at night. And the whole idea is that you
are more present in connecting with people. You feel better
about yourself. You kick off the day with tons of
energy and awesome music. And then you go about the
rest of your day still enjoying yourself and And it's

(24:32):
like the opposite of what a night out has on us.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
It's true. Now, I think it's a great place to
meet somebody because you actually can really have a connection
and a conversation at something like this.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
And.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
It's still like wanting to have a good time and
dance and party. It's just that you're going to feel
good the next day. It's really about that, isn't it?
It's about feeling good the next day and not wasting
that whole next day. How come this didn't dawn on
our generation?

Speaker 3 (24:54):
I know.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
We didn't ever think of this.

Speaker 9 (24:56):
And also, I think it's taken a bit to come
to the West Coast because it's been happening on the
East Coast a lot. Like New York, Jersey has been
doing this for a while. And so they've done these
parties now here in Santa Monica, right on the pier.
They did like this crazy yacht party in Marina del Rey.
And most recently, it was a hip hop party in
Inglewood with Jermaine Dupri DJing. So like celebrities and famous

(25:17):
people are actually starting to get into the loop of
this and they're becoming bigger and bigger and bigger. And
instead of staying out till two in the morning and
feeling like dirt the next day, you feel great.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Do you know how cool it sounds when someone says, no, bro.
I got to go to bed at nine so I
can get up at six and hit the daybreaker. Like
that's cool.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
That's how we've been living our whole lives like that.
It was not cool to go to bed at 8 PM.
My whole entire twenties or thirties, right?

Speaker 9 (25:44):
The struggle, the struggle that you had to try to
like balance.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
The morning show and everyone to go to dinner at
10 PM with you. Literally.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
I had to like have a sit down conversation with
two of my girlfriends and I'm like, I cannot do
these eight 30 dinners anymore.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Like it's it.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
Now we're going at 5.30.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Now they're going to bed at 8.30. Ronnie's been doing
an exceptional job out on the streets here at Kiss FM. Yesterday,
he left his impression on Reseda. Today, he's making impressions
in Woodland Hills. And Ronnie is with us now this morning.
Great call. Last time we were with you, what was it,

(26:25):
last hour? where you found somebody that was in the store,
you surprised them, got them the free gas, Kamari, on
her way to school. Ronnie, who do you have now?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Okay, so I'm still finding someone. But you know what's
so funny? The worker here, she saw our car, and
she was like, oh, my goodness, I want to say
hi to Ryan Seacrest. So I'm going to give the
phone to her just so she can say hi really quick.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Here, Fernando.

Speaker 7 (26:51):
Okay.

Speaker 11 (26:52):
Brian.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Hey, Fernanda. How are you?

Speaker 5 (26:54):
Hi.

Speaker 11 (26:55):
You're the love of my life.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Who thought Ronnie would be Cupid?

Speaker 11 (27:02):
I know.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Yes.

Speaker 11 (27:03):
I listen to you guys all the time. I'm a
district manager for a few gas stations on shelves. So
I'm always listening to you guys. And I get excited.
And I always go like, when are they coming to
our gas station?

Speaker 1 (27:17):
We did it today.

Speaker 11 (27:18):
I'm super excited you guys are here.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Yeah, that's right, girl. Well, Fernanda, first of all, thank
you very much for listening to us. That means a
lot to us. We appreciate that.

Speaker 11 (27:26):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 7 (27:27):
Sure.

Speaker 11 (27:27):
All the time. I love the Ryan Roses. Oh, my goodness.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Now, are you surprised by some of these Ryan's Roses?

Speaker 11 (27:39):
Some of them are like, I can't believe that.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Me, too. Yes, yes.

Speaker 11 (27:45):
I cannot listen to all the time because I go
on to the gas station and get out. But yes,
every time I turn on my radio, you guys are there.
And I think you guys have somebody. So I'm going
to put Ronnie on the phone.

Speaker 7 (27:57):
Okay, Fernando.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
She's acting as a producer now. There we go. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
She's so sweet. Okay, I did find someone right here.
Hold on two seconds.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Play-by-play is my favorite.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
Hi, sir. What's your name? Pete. Pete? Okay.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
I'm going to fill up your guest sink, but Ryan
Seacrest would like to speak with you on the phone.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
She's so adorable. Okay, here he is. Hello.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Hey, Pete, it is Ryan Seacrest on KISS FM. How
are you?

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Hey, how you doing?

Speaker 1 (28:33):
I'm good, Pete. We are literally just going around Southern
California with high prices of gas paying for people's tanks,
so we're going to.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Fill you up. Oh, cool. So they said gas and
then a half a Bitcoin I was going to receive?

Speaker 1 (28:46):
I don't know about the Bitcoin part. We'll just fill
your tank up.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
That's what I heard. They say, yo, they give me
Bitcoin and gas. I say, yo, sign me up, okay?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Oh, they did? Is that Fernanda? Who's talking about that Bitcoin?
That's Fernanda, that managing director.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
They said they're going to give you a big kiss
with that half a Bitcoin. Let me tell you.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Sign me up.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Half a Bitcoin is worth about 40K, so that'd be
a good morning.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Yeah, it'd be decent this morning. It'd be a decent morning.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
I like it. Now, Pete, where are you headed?

Speaker 3 (29:12):
Uh, just, uh, about, I guess, go home. I just
came to get some gas or something for my, uh,
my little one. Okay.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Well, we'll get you on your way there. We will
don't have the, I mean, you can ask Ronnie where
his Bitcoin, where he keeps his Bitcoin and see if
he has any.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Uh, that's up to you.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
In the meantime, we'll take care of your tank of gas. Okay, Pete.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Thank you, sir.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
All right. well, thank you. Hello. Nice to see you.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Is Pete a big guy?

Speaker 3 (29:42):
Yeah, he's really, like, muscular.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
I was scared growing up to him, but his daughter,
I feel like, makes him a little softer.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
I gathered.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
Careful when you speak that loud. All right. He's like
right there. Ronnie giving away free gas. Making smiles happen.
That's what he's doing. Making people smile. Thank you, Ronnie.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Bye, you guys.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Bye.

Speaker 7 (30:06):
Bye.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Now, Chatsworth, brace yourself. He's coming to you on Monday.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
On air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
First, a weekend watch list. So there's so much stuff
to keep up with. I don't know if you're going
to spend any time at home. and you want to
find something good to watch, we've got our list here. Sisney,
what's on your weekend watch list?

Speaker 9 (30:26):
Well, all five episodes dropped yesterday, so I am so
excited for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, season five
on Hulu, and this season's really going to explore the
fallout from Taylor Frankie Paul's shelved season of The Bachelorette,
because remember, she filmed the whole season, and then they
canceled it, and so we're going to see how she

(30:47):
dealt with that, and obviously the volatile relationship with Dakota,
So I'm all invested for this season.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Okay, Tanya, what's on your weekend watch list?

Speaker 6 (30:54):
I have been very excited about this. This actually came
out last week. It's called Earl Meets World. It's Alex
Earle's show on Netflix. It's going to follow Alex as
she navigates her business, her career, and then that feud
with Alex Cooper.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
So it came out last week.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
All eight episodes are streaming now on Netflix, and I'm obsessed.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Okay, Ruby, your weekend watch list, what's on it?

Speaker 10 (31:18):
Mine is The Girls on Hulu. So it follows Khloe
Kardashian's glamorous inner circle of lifelong friends as they navigate motherhood, marriage,
and the intense lens of reality TV cameras.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
So it's really good. She produced the show. Yeah, and
I love all of her friends that are in that, too.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
They're great.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Yes. Intern Bella, what's on your weekend watch list?

Speaker 8 (31:40):
Whisper Man on Netflix.

Speaker 7 (31:42):
So it's a thriller about Adam Scott, who plays a
crime writer whose young son is abducted. And he turns
to his estranged father, who's a retired detective played by Robert.

Speaker 8 (31:53):
De Niro, for help. It's pretty eerie. Like, my roommate
and I watched it together, and we were scared to go.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
I started this.

Speaker 7 (31:59):
Right?

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Yeah, it's good. It's good. I like it because it
is a beginning, a middle, and an end all in
an hour and 36 minutes.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
I saw Adam Scott on a plane once, and I
really wanted to go up and say hi because I
was watching Severance at the time.

Speaker 5 (32:12):
And I didn't, and I still regret it to this day.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Always go up. I saw him at CVS the other day.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
Really?

Speaker 1 (32:18):
If you would have known that story the other day,
you could have messaged him for Tanya. I could have.
He must be out and about quite a bit. Yeah.
Bopping around town. I'm going to pay a bill next.
It's Kiss FM.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
All right.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
This weekend, you got 80s and low 90s. A lot
of food festivals this weekend, Sissy and Tanya. The 30th
annual Lobster Festival. It's in Fountain Valley. Lobster drinks, games,
live music, DJs, and admission is five bucks. It's like
lobster and beer. It's kind of like a casual version
of having lobster. Sounds awesome. Although I don't know where

(32:55):
you're driving from, but driving to get there. Probably more
expensive than having to ship in and buy the lobster.

Speaker 5 (33:01):
Literally.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
That's going on the Covina Greek Festival. I love feta cheese.

Speaker 9 (33:08):
Me too.

Speaker 11 (33:08):
Who doesn't?

Speaker 1 (33:09):
I love salty feta cheese. I bet they got some
good cheese there. It's Greek food and live music. The
LA Wine Festival tomorrow and Sunday at the Equestrian Center
in Burbank. Also, live music in SoCal. The Control Alt
Delete Festival is in Long Beach. You know, it's Big
Sean and who else?

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Miguel.

Speaker 7 (33:26):
Miguel.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Jim Class Heroes tomorrow at the new F & M
Bank Amphitheater. One Republic. That's a great show to see
at the Hollywood Bowl.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
For sure.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Journey. Throwback to Journey at Crypto.com. And BlizzCon. You know
about this?

Speaker 3 (33:41):
No.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
BlizzCon happening at the Anaheim Convention Center. The big deal
is K-pop group Les Seraphim. They're doing the convention Sunday night.
Sports UCLA. at the Rose Bowl against San Diego State tomorrow, 4-15, USC.
Home against Louisiana tomorrow night. Bella, our intern, is at
every game. She'll be there. I don't know if her
boyfriend's coming or not.

Speaker 8 (34:00):
No, he won't. He doesn't like USC football.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
What?

Speaker 1 (34:04):
He's a Utah fan.

Speaker 8 (34:06):
He's from Seattle.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Ay-yi-yi. Buy into your school. And the Chargers play Arizona
SoFi 125 on Sunday. Sisney's going to go to that one.
I am going to be there. It's the home opener.
Go Chargers! All right. Have a good weekend. We're coming
back here. Non-stop KISS music. KISS FM. That's going to
wrap it up for us. Great week, everybody. Enjoy your weekend.
Get out, learn something, and root for something. Sisney takes

(34:31):
