First Friday, we're back full speed. Course, last Friday was
in the wake of New Year's Eve, so it was

like the way that it fell on a Wednesday. And Sisney,
I have to say Sicney gives sympathy and empathy because
I walked in this morning and she's like, well, how
is it? And I said, it's still not contagious. I'm
not a doctor, but the doctor tells me that because
of how many days I've been taking everything to get

rid of it. But it doesn't just I don't know
what I thought. Maybe it's just a different time, but
I thought, when you get the flu, it's two days.

Last year I got that flu and it was a
full week. Was it really? Yes? I didn't. I didn't
give you simple because I thought, oh a week, come on.

Well, and you're I'll defend you because it was during
break so it was it was during Christmas and I
was not here.

So everybody keeps saying to me, what a blessing. What's
a blessing? What a blessing? You got sick after New
Year's right now, over that weekend before the start of
the year. I'm like, or during the start of the
other Why how is that a blessing? Well, it's true.
What if you would have gone sick before New.

Year's Like you like, what would you have done? Would
the show go on? Would you have canceled?

I would have done it from my bed on a
remote with a little tennis ball on a stick, right

had this big event and like once you were down,
like you powered through and then I was like, Okay,
you're gonna get.

boom she crashed as well as if her body new too.
When you're pushing along, you've just got so does the

trends say that pizza is the most ordered food on
New Year's Day, Super Bowl Sunday, and February fifteenth, the
day after Valentine's Day. And I started thinking that there's
something satisfying about ordering pizza late, like and then I

started questioning, I wonder if it's bad to be the
last guy that orders the pizza at the end of
the day, Like, do not want that pizza? Because I like,
it's still irreverend to order food late sometimes when you can.
That's in my mind because I never do it right.
You'd have I'd have to be really in the mood
to get a late night pizza. I ordered drunk, well
late night pizza or you know, my if I order late,

it's a late night pizza or it's late night cookie
dough edible cookie dough. Those are the two things I
order late for me. It's late night taco bell. Mm hmmm,
No one wants pizza. Everybody wants taco bell. I get it.

So every morning I drive in from Riverside, so it's
kind of a far drive. And this morning, when I
was merging from the sixty to the seventy one, it's
a very short merge lane, so I don't have a
lot of time to go, and the car next to
me is going the same speed i am, and it's
going right next to me, and I'm watching the road
get smaller and smaller, and I'm thinking, is he gonna

speed up? Is he gonna slow down? Like what are
we gonna do? Are we gonna crash? And he just
kept going right next to me. So last minute I
had to speed up super duper fast and cut him off.
And then he has the audacity to.

Honk at me. Yeah, like what I mean, you came off.
But it was a point people disappoint, Sofia, this is
the lesson. Not everybody's good. There are more good than bad.
But some people like that person literally was playing with you,
was playing a game with you. It was messy. That

person knew they were playing head games with you, Jedi
mind tricking you to go the exact same parallel speed,
knowing that the road is coming to a funnel and
not let you over. They know they know you're gonna
have to speed up and cut them off. They just
can't wait to be mean. It's like they had to
be mean on the way in.

Should I have slowed down like was I in the ross?

Yes, you probably should have slowed it. I mean I don't,
just as a safe driver advocate anytime you speed up
and go in front of somebody. It's probably a little
more dangerous than backing off and just smoothly getting behind them,
isn't he I don't know. I would have just spat.

When you go on the on wrap, you have you,
I speed and then I go to a little I
don't like linger and wait for my turn to get
into the freeway.

I look for opportunities to let people in, and then
I judge them because I've let you in. I want
to wave, bro like, not just just come on in
and move on. I need a wave that I can
see through the glass back window. A big wave like
you're in a parade kind of wave, like you are

not necessarily a scent you might wear on one's body.

got here either.

I think I had a very wild ride.

I started off as a trainee, so I did an audition,
and I hopped around like a few labels, and then
he ended up at the label that I am right now.
I actually like gave up halfway and I almost went
to school in the States, and then he came back
just to join the group. So it was really just
a lot of stars aligning and just me finding my place.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
I guess, well, you guys are awesome. I really loved
meeting you and meeting all of y'all and then watching
that performance. Did you hear good things afterwards after you
performed in the middle of that craziness?
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Oh my gosh, it was. You know a lot of
people also tuned in from Korea, which was really cool
to see. We were really really excited to perform there.
And you know, I grew up watching the show before
I even dreamt of becoming a singer, so it felt
really surreal to be even there.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
And you know, every year we do.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
This thing where we jumped together at midnight before the
new year starts. And the fact that we were able
to do that with everybody there, I was thanks to read.

Aura and we were all together.

It was crazy, but we did it in Times Square,
which made it really special.

one or somebody you want to be with, you want
them to be themselves. You want it to be easy
at the beginning, like right and needs to just work
and blend. So the brunch table theory is that you
basically try to spot all the green flags of comfort
and kindness if they can hold their own at a
brunch with like your friends of you know, mixed backgrounds

and like you know, this is my friend from high
school and this is my friend from college, and like
we can all get along and they just mesh right
into that brunch table and it's effortless. Then that is
a clear sign that this is a keeper, a lifer,
somebody that you should invest your time in.

then it's got to be brunch with a cast of
people in your life. Yes exactly.

I mean not like necessarily your siblings and your parents
any more like your friends. I think if they can

And this actually worked for me. I didn't even know

It wasn't a brunch table, but it was a dinner table.
My blind date with Michael was supposed to be a
double date with my sister and her husband. She ended
up inviting like a group of her friends. She told
me to invite a friend. She told Michael to bring
a friend, and ended up being ten people and Michael
held his own in front of all these strangers.

And it was a huge turn on for me, and
I was like, I do this all the time. I mean,
it worked out for well, you're a great You're a
great I on a brunch table. Well, no, I bring
people into friend groups fast. I don't wait around. I
usually bring them because I also look at like there

if I meet someone on a Friday and I got
plans with my friends on the Saturday, I merge it.
I say here, you're gonna meet everybody fast, like people
have gone. I would meet everybody fat. They meet my
best friends sometimes in the same day. That is wild.

I don't know. I'm just trying to consolidate the time
that I've got to spend with people that I'm trying

to date and that I'm friends with. Sophia, Are you

I thought, when you get the flu, it's two days.

had to speed up super duper fast and cut him off.

But some people like that person literally was playing with you,

I guess, well, you guys are awesome. I really loved
meeting you and meeting all of y'all and then watching
that performance. Did you hear good things afterwards after you
performed in the middle of that craziness?

Oh my gosh, it was. You know a lot of
people also tuned in from Korea, which was really cool
to see. We were really really excited to perform there.
And you know, I grew up watching the show before
I even dreamt of becoming a singer, so it felt
really surreal to be even there.

This thing where we jumped together at midnight before the
new year starts. And the fact that we were able

that I've got to spend with people that I'm trying
