Speaker 1 (00:00):
Apparently there is a position, right, a role called the
chief Breakup Officer, which is a real job that Dating
dot Com has hired to you hire this chief breakup
officer to do the breakup for you?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Is that right exactly? Dating dot Com posted this job
saying basically, if you want to be somebody that breaks
up with people, we will pay you. So it's a remote,
part time gig that pays about three thousand dollars a month,
and you'd basically call someone's partner and deliver the breakup
as kindly as possible in the sweetest way possible, and

(00:37):
handle all the awkwardness so that the person that's in
the relationship doesn't have to do the actual breaking up.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
This is such an easy job because you don't know
the other person, So what do you care? You just
call and say it's over, and you collect three thousand
dollars a month.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
No way, but you're breaking people's hearts. Yeah, you're involved
all that karma. Who wants that?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Not?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Mean?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
So many? I think this is because so many people
just get ghosted. It's better than having no answer. Well,
it is.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I prefer being broken up to than being ghosted, for sure.
I think anybody would right.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
I don't. I don't know, but you would rather be
just left, like on Red, like I ghosted and like
they had no explanation, versus, hey, it's not working out.
Separate ways.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yes, you're right, Yeah, I guess you're right. I'd like
to have to say yeah, to know and have closure.
But I think what we need around here is a
chief apologizing officer. I think that's somebody that you should hire.
