Happy Taylor Swift Album Release Day! Today and all weekend we are celebrating "The Life of a Showgirl" on-air and did you know there are now college courses on our girl?

Sisanie shared on-air Michigan State just rolled out a new class called "The Taylor Swift Phenomenon." It looks at her influence through economics, politics, history, gender studies, and even environmental issues.

Course, right, imagine majoring in Taylor Swift. Well, not really,
but you can at least take a course. Michigan State
shout out to them because they got a new class
called the Taylor Swift Phenomenon and it looks at her
influence through economics, politics, history, gender studies, and even environmental issues.
It's really interesting because the professor's using Taylor's impact as

a way for students to talk about big picture culture topics,
everything from gender criticism to belonging. Basically, it's not just
about Taylor's songs, where we've seen those pop up here
and there, but it's about her presence in pop culture
and how you can explain it to the world that
we live in now. So, I mean, pop culture is

such a big part of our lives and using someone
like Taylor who's had massive culture impact makes it relatable,
makes it fun. And now I'm looking at LMU and
they have the Bad Bundy class. Right, this state has
a Harry Styles class. Let's have some of these tailor classes.

I think it's great and it's really smart to do this.
Through the lens of and create a relatable angle to
learn other broader things. You may see this more often.
How popular do you think that is?

I think it's so popular. Yeah, Like you said, it's
sold out as if it were a concert.
