Speaker 1 (00:00):
Another time, opportunity, and accomplishment and accolade for the Jonas Brothers.
By the way, a few weeks ago, not too long ago,
they just were named Disney Legends at the D23 Convention
of Fans in Anaheim.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Congratulations, Jonas Brothers. Very fun.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
And when you think about a thing that was.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Kevin, Nick, Joe, to be a legend already and still
the youth of America at the same time, that's an
intersection of pop culture yet to be achieved.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Wouldn't you say, Joe? Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
I mean, I think working with Disney all these years
and to share the room with Anne Hathaway and The Rock,
formerly known as Dwayne Johnson, it really is special to
receive something such like a high honor.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
It really is a beautiful room and we're so excited,
you know, to continue kind of doing more projects with them.
I mean, we just released Camp Rock 3 only a
few weeks ago as producers, which is kind of wild.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
And so maybe more in the future.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Have you read Dwayne's contract? Because that language that you
recited is exactly what I think is in his vocabulary
of his deal. Dwayne The Rock Johnson, formerly known as
The Rock Dwayne Johnson.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I think you have to say that every time.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
That's his Wikipedia now, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Nick, what would you say if you were to distill
this down, the Jonas brothers secret to the magic, the
secret to the success year after year, what would you
distill it down to?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
I mean, I think it's hands down the fans.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
Um, it's just been incredible to watch over the last,
you know, 20 years at this point, um, how they've
stuck by us, grown with us now introduce their kids
to the music and, and looking out at these shows,
you know, seeing new fans, um, and, and fans that
have been there forever.

Speaker 7 (01:50):
Just means the world to us.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
And I think it's also a testament to our, our
love for working with each other and getting to do
what we do together.

Speaker 7 (01:58):
It's, it's really incredible to get to share these, these
moments with family and to still be having these new experiences.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Jonas Brothers with us. So Kevin, I think about this often, right?
Like what is the magic? What is it that you
guys do? Obviously you're, you're talented. You perform amazingly. You
reach people all over the world. But to me, there's,
there's an equation Kevin of like, you bring in new
fans with the excitement of new things, but I feel
like you reward, like you, you reward those who have

(02:26):
been there for a long time.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Do you ever think about it like that?

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Uh, I, we, I don't know about reward. I feel
like I'm, we're rewarded.

Speaker 8 (02:34):
Uh, honestly, like the last thing we just did obviously
was the, uh, burn it up tour all over again.
And the three shows at MSG and being able to
do that and relive that tour. And then, um, bring
that back to life after all, you know, I don't
even remember exactly guys, how many years is it actually?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
It's like, what?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
It's a 16 years. It's enough years.

Speaker 7 (02:55):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
35, 33, 35.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:57):
Um, bringing that back since 2008 and actually like reliving
it all. And then of course being able to play
new music at the same time as well. Like, it's
just kind of like, how are we still able to
do this? It's, it's a beautiful thing.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Do you all use electric toothbrushes or do you use manual?

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I'd like to know for each of you.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
Thank you, I was dying to answer this question.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, this is really important.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Mike, why don't you start? I'm using a Bruch right now, B-R-U-S-H.
Are you familiar?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Tanya knows all about the Bruch. I know, I love
the Bruch.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
We know about the Bruch. Yeah, we love the Bruch.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I like a multi-setting toothbrush. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (03:33):
Nick's got like a whole closet of, he's got a
pharmacy in his drawers. at the guest room i'm just
running through all the free ones the ones from like
hotels you bring back i'm sorry but nick and joe
sharing a headset is literally sending me.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
No we're not i actually i i tried to get him.

Speaker 10 (03:51):
To borrow the other ear but he refused actually if
you watch the video it looks like they're flying together
as a couple on the airplane watching the same movie
but only packed one set of headphones yeah kevin.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
What do you got what for the dental hygiene You know, Danny.

Speaker 8 (04:07):
Got us on these new water picks that are really
pretty great. I like a water pick. But I like
the Oral-B. Well, sure, but the water pick does all
the work for you.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
It does. He's right. I have a battery-powered one. It's
like a cannon. That thing sprays my mirror.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah, dude, like it just clears it all out.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I feel like I lose a tooth.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
No, it's great.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
You would not believe the herbs that pop out when
you use this thing.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
There's herbs?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
People need to know. The stuff's stuck in his teeth.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
But electric or manual on the toothbrush?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Oh, we go electric. Yeah, we're an Oral-B family. Ryan,
what about you? This is what the people need to know.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I have both. I have both. I have the electric.
I have the water pick, which is a charger dealio.
I mean, it's like a can in that thing. And
I travel with it. It's big to travel with. And
I have a manual on because sometimes I need the
sensation of feeling something.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Like I did when I was a kid, you know?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Right. It's good to remind yourself like you're alive.

Speaker 10 (05:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
It's good to have these nostalgic moments. All right.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
We have some unbelievable new music from the Jonas Brothers
that I got to play this track.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Coming up next.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
You're going to love the vibe. It's next on Kiss FM.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
You're on air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
On 102.7.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Kiss FM.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Jonas Brothers with us. Listen when sad is out tonight.
And listen to Hey Jonas wherever you get your podcasts.
It's now available on Hulu, Disney +, and the Jonas
Brothers are here. I'm about to play this track, which
is a new track for you, but it has nostalgic
tones and textures to it, inspired by some of those

(05:48):
early 2000s days.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, this is so exciting for us. This song is
finally out.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
We wanted to tap back into that early sound.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Our kind of breakthrough album in 07, self-titled, went a
little bit longer, and Just that time in our lives
when everything was new and exciting. We were writing about
things that were happening to us in real time. And
so we re-teamed with John Fields, our producer from those records,
to give it that feel, nostalgic feel. But also this

(06:17):
lyric is all about those endless summers you have when
you're 16 and you feel like you've got the world
at your fingertips and it kind of just goes by
in a flash.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
And, you know, it's exciting for us.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
To you know, get this out there now and to
also have a lot of announcements coming in the next
few days, but kicking this thing off.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 6 (06:41):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Do you remember the summer of 69, Nick?

Speaker 7 (06:46):
Hmm.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yes, that was a, by the way, that was a
great event.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
You crushed on the host.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
In July 4th.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
It was too hot. It was just too hot.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
It was so hot.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
It's still, it was so hot that, but that's one
of the great, when I think of like summer rock
and roll and you did a cover of that, that's
the one that stands out as like defining to me.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
I think, you know, this, this song hopefully will give
everyone the feels, you know, it's, it's, it's that time
in all of our lives when, when you feel like
you can do anything and, and, and, you know, you
look up and all of a sudden you're talking about,
Which toothbrush you're using.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Exactly. Let's roll it. We got to play. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Kevin, Nick, Joe with us. Jonas Brothers. Listen to this
new music. 102.7. Kiss FM. Jonas Brothers there.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
102.7.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Kiss FM.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Thanks, guys.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Sweating.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I can picture the venue, Kevin, when you're singing that song.
You're out on the road. And the lights go up
on the audience's face.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
And you just watch dudes and girls singing that back,
like wide open mouth, singing that back to you.

Speaker 8 (07:55):
Right?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
That is what they can do that. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (07:58):
Burning up tour all over again, kicking off September 25th
in Boston.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
But isn't that, that's a song.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Those dates, Nick.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
It creates that moment.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
I'm trying to be ambiguous before, but I'm just, I just.
You're too excited.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
About it.

Speaker 8 (08:12):
Yeah, no, it really does. I think this song is
one of those, it brings this right back. It's definitely,
you hear it the first time we were like working
on it, going back and working with John Fields on
this again, like it feels quintessential Jonas Brothers, you know,
from the early, you know, 2009, 2008 era. But it
also feels now, and it speaks to that time where
we were all burning CDs, maybe Gen Zs and Alpha,

(08:33):
not sure what that is, but you know, they'll figure
it out.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
But I'm trying to think of like, if we threw
that on back in early 2000s, in the mix with
the strokes are in the mix with switch foot.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Uh, death. What is it? Death cab? Q dashboard.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Confession.

Speaker 8 (08:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
I mean, like it would go.

Speaker 7 (08:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Paramore. I love it.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
They, they said it went number one back then too.
So yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Number one, you're reliving the number one. Once again, end
of September in Boston, it kicks off. Yes. Gentlemen, thank
you so much for coming on. We really love it.
You guys are the best. Sounds great.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
You guys are always the best.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Always great to see you. Yeah, love you guys. See
you next time. Thanks, guys.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
We'll see you soon.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Thanks, Ryan.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Bye, guys. Bye-bye.
