Speaker 1 (00:01):
Well look at this punctuality is one of the great
traits of a person i just reached out we were
talking about dancing with the stars in the crazy fun
successful series it is this time around and then tanya
said to me oh you know wheel of fortune goes
right into it on tuesday nights you ryan should walk

(00:22):
across the street and dance Go to a taping, yeah.
Go to a taping. And then you said you should
be on it. You should be on it. It's a stretch. Well,
I just want to reach out to the very incredible,
amazingly charming, beautiful host or co-host of Dancing with the Stars,
Julianne Hough.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Good morning. Good morning. I love that the first introduction
was my punctuality.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Well, you've known me a long time, right? I think
it's very respectful.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
You taught me well. Right on schedule. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
You're bouncing a lot. First, congratulations. I just was looking
at this announcement. Broadway, Julianne.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yes, we just announced.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, it's exciting. Broadway is a real commitment. You've thought
this through?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
It is. Eight shows. Yeah, eight shows a week. I mean,
the pre, the post, the recovery, singing, dancing, acting, live
audience every day. It's what I live for. Are you
kidding me? This is the greatest dream of my life.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
All right, so we were just talking about Dancing with
the Stars and how great it is. It's just so
great again. And, you know, it had a moment where
they moved it off ABC, went to Disney Plus for
a second. And they were like, well, let's see what
it does now, this awesome resurgence due to you being

(01:46):
host and other things. components as well.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I think it is. Honestly, I've never heard so many
people talk about Dancing with the Stars more than like
this year, this season specifically. It's wild. I mean, you're right, Ryan.
It's like there was a lull and a dip and
we were like, is the show going to be canceled
at some point? And you know, to be able to
like have pushed through and like made it through to

(02:11):
20 years of this show, there's a whole new generation
of people watching and that generation of people are young
kids who were just being born when we started. And
now they're having viewing parties and watch parties. And I mean,
you know, like TikTok and social media, it's not just
the show making, you know, content and everything around the show. It's,

(02:32):
It's random, amazing fans making their own content. So you
can't get away from it. It's everywhere. So we're very grateful.
Voting like crazy this season. Who are you voting for?
For Ezra, obviously. Oh, you're an Ezra Frack champion? Yes,
very much so. He's so lovely, by the way. And

(02:54):
in person... I mean, you want to meet your heroes
or you don't want to meet your heroes. You want
to meet Ezra. He is just as deliciously charming as
he comes across.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Julianne, I want to put you on hold. We have
another break. We have to get to some other stuff.
I was just thinking about things while you were talking.
Hold one second. We'll be right back with the co-host
of the highly rated Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Julianne Hough is on the line. She's hosting....

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Dancing with the Stars. She's selling furniture from living spaces.
I can't get enough.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Rooms to go.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Oh, rooms to go. Listen, rooms to go.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
That was the one that you pulled?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Well, no, I don't know. I'm late in bed at night,
and all of a sudden, who are you in there with?
Rodkowski selling furniture? Rob Gronkowski?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
No, it's not Rob Gronkowski. Who is it? Oh, my gosh. Oh,
Jesse Palmer. Oh, Jesse Palmer.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
You're in there with Jesse Palmer. It's like, am I
supposed to think you guys are buying furniture together for
a home? I mean, it's a little nonfiction, fiction.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
No, it was. It was the Labor Day sale, you know.
I got to be honest. I'm like the sale girl
for Rooms to Go. I do all the sales.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I see you. I see you all over. Every hour
of the day and night, anything that's on, I snap
a photo and send it to you. Okay, so not
to put you on the spot, but, you know, we've
known each other a long time.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
But I'm going to put you on the spot.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
What do you miss most about me being there every day?

Speaker 2 (04:33):
There it is.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Just like at the top of the list.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Um... Your beautiful green eyes. Oh, that's nice. You guys
were being playful and cute. I love that you awed.
We'll always awed. Well, by the way, I will say genuinely, genuinely,
I miss your energy and your presence and you're so

(04:58):
wonderful and kind and you root for everybody that's around you.
And I'm so lucky that I get to be your
friend after all these years.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Well, thank you. Weeknights at 7.30. Anybody can get any
of that?

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah. What do you miss the most about Julianne?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Oh, good one. You know, I miss a lot of
different things, but I think I obviously learned a lot
about relationships from you, but I also know how much
you care and love the people in your life and
the friends and the family in your life, and you've
got some complicated relationships things that have happened to you,

(05:36):
but you still really pour all of your whole heart
into them and to that. And I really respect that
and love that. Oh, cue the music.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
I know she brought out the playfulness in you too.
Like you were very playful.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Oh, there's, there's music. Okay. We've got to go.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
All right.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Be in touch. Safe travels.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
All right. Love you guys. Bye.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
But who do you love the most?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
She's gone.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Let's go watch the show sometime. You forgot to ask
her if we could go watch Dancing with the Stars.
Her show's on tonight. Oh, I can't tonight. We'll book
her next Tuesday for this.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
She can promote. What's wrong? Tanya, how did I let
you down? Tanya, we literally have her number.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
We can text her ourselves. I don't have her number.
I want to go to the show.
