RAYE's fans will help "inform" her new music during "This Tour May Contain New Music" stops. Listen back to the full interview with the "Where Is My Husband!" songstress and Ryan Seacrest here:

Listen up RAYE fans, you're helping her record her new music whether you realize it or not! The "Where Is My Husband!" singer shared with Ryan Seacrest she'll be performing new music while on tour and finessing the tracks based on how the crowd reacts and engages.

The method is also how she crushed viral hit track "Where Is My Husband!"

"A lot of this tour is going to be playing new music but it won't be out yet and I'm going to let
performing it live inform how I'm going to be finishing these records," RAYE explained. "I'm so excited. What's really beautiful is my two little sisters are opening for me."

The British songstress added she likes her shows to stay super "organic" and not planned out much.

Listen back to the full interview for more, including to hear if her viral single has helped land her a man yet!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
So many great artists that we've got to talk to
when it's happening, not the beginning, but like during it all,
And that's what we're about to do. Where is my
husband climbing the charts? Grave? Thanks for coming in, Oh,
thanks for having me. Great artists, I've been talking about
you for a long time, like big artists that we
all know, Charlie, XCX, Beyonce. They recognized your writing skills

(00:21):
and your talent from early on. That must have given
you some motivation and encouragement.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Definitely. I think honestly, every little every little help, well
that's not little, but every little thing helps, you know,
because you know, you have to give a lot of
heart into being a musician, and today it takes a
lot of heart and passion, you know. So it's just
also so rewarding to feel like hard work is paying off.

(00:46):
It's it's a very beautiful feeling.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
What are people saying to you about where is my husband?
When they get a chance to talk to you about it?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Do you know what's crazy about this song? I feel
like this song is accidentally inspiring like actual marriages. That's
what's quite interesting. So I had a thing with my
lawyers one of my lawyers was saying that he's proposed
to his girlfriend because she was like, listen to this song.
I want to bring one of my literally one of

(01:14):
my babies. Is like, oh my gosh, like out of nowhere,
this song is like opened up something with someone. I
was thinking, it's just like wow, like I think this
song is inspiring marriage.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
So that's that was not the intent.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I was hoping for my marriage. Yeah, I'm hoping for
everyone else.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Everyone else the same thing else.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Ray, We've got lots to talk about your single where
is My Husband? First and Foremost, which is so good.
It's such a high energy. Plus your tour more with
Ray coming on.

Speaker 3 (01:44):

Speaker 1 (02:02):
It is Ryan Seacrest. But more importantly, we have Ray
with us in studio, and you mentioned a few minutes
ago this hot new single where Is My Husband, which
he wrote hoping it would help others find their man.
But it's not helping you also in that search.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
No, do you know what I thought it would? No,
it hasn't yet at all at all. I am off
social media and everything, so I don't look at my DM.
So maybe I need to get in there and just
have a little There's a lot of work to do,
do you know what I mean? You know, I'm excited
for that lovely time in my life, but I've got

(02:40):
a lot of work to do as well.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
My self, work, dreams, professionally.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
This album, yeah, this tour and like life. Yeah, I
love that.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Focus on you and the man will come later.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Amen, Now you mentioned the tour. Let's talk about that's
super exciting. What can you share?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
So the tour is called this tour may contain new music,
and because I don't have an actual release date or anything,
because I like to leave things, you know, I like
to put loads of pressure on and I like to
take my time as much time as I can take.
My thought was like, why don't we go on tour
and then play some of the new music on the
tour see how people connect with it, see the feedback
live in the flesh from people who actually care about

(03:18):
me as an artist and then let it inform the records.
I think that's so exciting.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
That's a super fun, unique approach too that you can
do that. Please come back and please stay in touch
because we just we are fans and we love to
see it all happening.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Thank you, and thanks for having me and I would
really love to be back anytime.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
And yeah, whereas my husband is out and all these
songs that we don't know where they're going to be
and when are coming. You're on air with a Ryan Seacrest.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
