It's all of it.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
It is Taco Tuesday, sharing it with National Inchilada Day
as well, So that's enough to celebrate. Why get out
of bed for that? Yeah, right there, to start your
Tuesday off on the right foot. Partly Sunday today, Hi's
in the upper sixties, warming up tomorrow through the weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
We're paying your bills. I got a second date update.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Coming up, and I have a colonoscopy today, so yay.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Hear the exciting day on Taco Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yep, yep, you may hear your enthusiasm in my voice.
Exciting so much, looking forward to it, so much, looking
forward to it. Yeah, no, I couldn't figure out. You know,
it's never a good time to have a procedure, and
it's never a good time, ever necessary. But it's never
a fun planning a colonoscopy. He's never fun planning the colonoscopy.
(01:06):
You never know what day is going to be a
good day. It's never a good day to do it.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
So you've done one before, it's not your first time.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
I've had a scan like I did.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
I did this sort of like it's not so intense one,
but this is the intense one.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Oh, this is really.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
You like drink the milky thing or something.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Well, that's what's going to tell you. I'm in prep
mode right now, so beware. I'm here, but I'm prepping,
so beware. Got a couple of long songs in the Q.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
If needed saying, you're gonna be able to leave the
studio like every ten minutes.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
It's my doctor told me, yes, you can go do
the show this morning and then come to the colonoscopy.
But please don't let them make you laugh. I said, well,
that won't be a problem.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Why excuse me?
Speaker 4 (01:50):
Impossible excuse me.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, see that's not funny. That did not make me laugh.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yeah, but if you do make me laugh, beware, I'm
in prep mode for the klonoscopy. Two point seven. It's
kiss im good morning. We've got Zara Larson tickets coming
up in a few minutes and a second date update.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Dating is not fun, It's it can be very typical.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Right, you go through your your performance. First date, you
look for things. I mean you kind of dread. I
dread the date because I'm like, oh gosh, what am
I have to talk about my favorite color, my favorite place?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Really, like what are we going to have? People ask?
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Really?
Speaker 3 (02:32):
I me too, But yes, the conversation is so surface.
Speaker 7 (02:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:38):
But also if it's like you never want a moment
of silence, so you just start whipping out whatever questions.
Speaker 9 (02:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, Like literally, when you get that awkward moment and
you're quiet and she's quiet, and you both sort of
know you're both quiet, you got to be the one
to bring up something.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Have you ever parachuted?
Speaker 9 (03:00):
Got up?
Speaker 3 (03:01):
I got a couple of my pocket questions like that,
it's got a mini golf. Rapid fire, Yeah, rapid fire stuff.
So they opened the new wing, the David Geffen Wing
to Lakhma the museum. You know, been building it across
Wilship for a long time. I had not been to
go see it. I just went to go see it.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
I mean, it's one thing to drive under it on Wheelshire,
but it is just remarkable and beautiful.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Have you guys been No?
Speaker 3 (03:27):
No, it's stunning to go in because you know, if
you go to museums generally, if you go look at
art generally, many times you're in a dark room. It's
just dark, right, you know a lot of space, open
space and darkness, and you kind of feel it fatigues you,
Like I get tired after a minute or two, you know,
(03:48):
maybe ten minutes, but it's just like sort of drains
you a little bit after a while. Well, it's all sunlight.
They have little pockets of rooms, but the amount of
sunlight that comes through from Wheelshire it's beautiful. If you've
not been to Lakma to see this, I highly recommend
you put it on your program.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
There's an air one.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
They built an air one, so influencers are out there
just taking pictures of their their cookies, their snickers, and
that's what we need. An air one there. But at
the museum you got to get a snack. You gotta hydrate.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
They've got the.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Juice and all that stuff. There's an air one there.
But it's really beautiful. And one of the things I
don't know if you knew this, but I thought this
was so cool. They have mobile Lacma classrooms now like
tractor trailer trailers. Yeah, and so This didn't happen when
I was in school. You know. Now they can take
(04:41):
artworks or pottery, whatever the exhibit is, and they put
in the back of a tractor trailer, says Lacma.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
And they'll take it to kids' schools.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Oh that's really cool.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I mean, I guess you kind of want to leave
for the field trip, like the time that you get
out of class. But they'll be able to visit more
students around southern cal And it's a really cool hands
on experience. They do it for free. I thought it
was super cool that they get to do that. Kids
get to have that chance to do that. So when
you go on a date, I'm speaking to the daters.
(05:12):
When you need an activity for a date, this is it, Lakhma.
Take them on a date there. It's a super cool date.
I love that look ahead at what might be on display,
so you can have an answer to a question if
anybody asks you. I made up a lot of answers.
I just pretend to be glib and like, oh, yeah,
(05:33):
I know, I know their work. Their work is set up.
What's one of the great works of.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Their work famous sculptures.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, one of the great works of their work. Were
in that.
Speaker 9 (05:42):
Period on a date.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Oh yeah you were? Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
The lead. That's why I wanted to bring it up.
It's a perfect date experience. Oh yeah, wouldn't you have
liked to been there? You want me to be I
thought about inviting you, as I thought, you know what,
you would distract me.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
I wouldn't be able to focus.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
You'd hear me making up all kinds of things about
the artists that I just don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
So was that a first date or second date?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (06:10):
No, more yeah, way in you're way in.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
No, not way in. But it wasn't a second.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Oh all right, I recommend it, Black, I recommend it,
okaym Bruno, Mars, I just might check it. Second date
update coming up in a few minutes, and we're paying
your bills again all day Thursday, all day Friday. But again,
so Ruby, I understand that there's a little stress you're
(06:40):
going through right now in the back room.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I'm a little a stress, so you know, just are
you a little Sabrina A little bit?
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Okay, a stress tho, Well, yeah, tell me what's happening.
How can we help?
Speaker 10 (06:51):
I just I've been feeling a little bit overwhelmed lately,
and I didn't. I was trying to pinpoint what it
was and I have You know, I have two sisters
I'm very close to. One of them is going through
a major change, she left a job that she was
at for like a decade, and the other one is
going through a major heartbreak. So they're both calling me
and texting me at all times, and just yeah, I
am their soundboard and I want to be there for them.
(07:12):
But I feel like I am also trying to figure
out how to like set a boundary as well, because
I don't want to end up, you know, depleted. So
I was like, let me talk to Guru Ry and
see what you suggest, because I feel like you're right.
You've been in like the zen Den lately.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I've been in the Zenden. Yeah, I've been in the
Gurus garage. You know, I've just been sort of hanging
out with the Guruz garage. Listen to these iBooks, sad Gurus.
The Guru I was listening to. I love his thoughts.
I love the spirituality. Well, first of all, now you
don't you can't get to a place where you feel depleted.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
That's just not a good feeling.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
But you also do I admire that both of your
sisters are coming to you as the voice of guidance
and wisdom. What specifically is draining you? This was what
the guru would ask.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
I think it's just that.
Speaker 10 (08:06):
I think it's it's wanting to you know, they're like
calling and texting at all times, and I am just
taking in a lot of you know, their training, but
I want to be there for them and I because
you know they're there for me as well. And if
you have a sister, you know like that's your go to.
But it's like trying to find that balance. I think
that's what it is.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Well, remember that the way you feel is a choice.
Like the stress that you feel is you're I mean,
you kind of choose to feel the stress and get
amped up and get the anxiety and get the panic.
So here's what I recommend from Rye Rise Guru Garage,
and that is eight counts eight times, breathe in, breathe out,
(08:47):
eight counts, three rounds ten times, So you breathe in.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
What did you just say?
Speaker 9 (08:53):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
So basically in my book, three times ten times, here's
what you do. You're gonna do three rounds of eight
count breathing ten times.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
So you're gonna go in.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
To ten to ten, go in and out to ten,
do that ten times. Are in to we'll have time
to do all but in ten out ten that's round one.
Do it ten times, in out that's two. Then do
three times. By the end of the third time, I'm
gonna yeah, TuS.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
You're saying ten times and then three times. So I
just don't understand three rounds of tens.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah, I understand.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Ten count ten times three rounds. You can't be spiritual
if you aren't open minded.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Basically like fifteen reps three rounds, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Thank you, but it's ten reps. Breathe in maybe seven
seconds breathing. See however you can breathe in too long. Well,
breathe in, breathe out. Three rounds times ten. My gosh,
you guys dressing the guru out.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
That stressed me out.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Then oh yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Then and then we're gonna say a little spiritual prayer.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
And I'll tell you what that is when I think
of it.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
But you know, a spiritual prayer about you decide how
you feel, You decide how much energy you put out,
You decide how and who drains you. You are in
control of that and with that, good luck. Now opearing's
gonna be okay. By the way, at two point seven
kiss FM, I got a quote of the day and
also something that struck me. The street sweeping tickets are
(10:39):
the worst, right, the street sweeping ticket seventy three bucks.
I mean, haven't we all fallen victim at one time
or another?
Speaker 4 (10:48):
For sure?
Speaker 2 (10:49):
So you can do this. Here's my tip. You can
do this.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Apparently they switched to bi weekly sweeping a few years ago.
Now you can get an email reminder, which have saved
I think a lot of us. You can get an
email reminder about the sweeping so that you don't get
your ticket.
Speaker 7 (11:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Smart.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
They never switched the signs, so the signs still say
every Thursday or every Friday or whatever day it is.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
It is bi weekly.
Speaker 11 (11:15):
Now.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
A lot of people don't realize that.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
No, I did not know.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
So check it out today's quote. There is no path
to happiness. Happiness is the path. Yeah, oh yeah, there
is no time. It's just what you make it like.
This is this thing is time? We made that up time?
Speaker 1 (11:37):
No, I think time is real.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
No, we made up time.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Time didn't exist until somebody, some human being made up time.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
So if there's no time, it's great. No, that's not
that's great.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Don't make me laugh. I'm prepping for a colonoscopy today.
I'm not allowed to laugh. Kaylanie one at two point
seven Kiss FM review was telling me she stressed out,
and I said, du a little breathing, breathe in, breathe out,
three rounds of ten. Because she's been drained by other
people's problems, I said, just this.
Speaker 8 (12:09):
Is a return to sound, meditative base experience.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
To listen to something like this.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Comfortable place to relax. You know who's doing this now,
little John?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Oh yeah, meditation like yoga.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
No way, Ryan's listening to that.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
Let's take a moment to be still and transmut.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Yeah, yeah, I'm doing this all the time.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
I can see you doing that actually means two minutes
and yeah, this is like a fourteen minute program.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
And that's what gets him through his day.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
That's what gets me through my day. Do you know
how hard it is to work with you guys?
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Sometimes, like the challenges.
Speaker 12 (12:49):
Of Energy FM headlines, Well, all lanes are closed in
both directions on the one time freeway through San Pedro
after a fire erupted inside at a tunnel last night.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
More on this.
Speaker 5 (13:02):
Coming up with Ginger Chan, but it may be days
before all lanes reopen. State Farm may temporarily lose its
California license after an investigation found it underpaid claims from
the Palisades and eaten fires. Wildlife officials tranquilized a bear
that was seen roaming a neighborhood near Hanson Dam in
Pacoima yesterday, and FIFA is turning each World Cup game
(13:27):
into a public celebration, sponsoring ten outdoor fan zone watch
parties across La County.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
I want a two point seven kiss FMLA about to
get into a second date update and pay a bill First,
I want to go to Kim kim Is on Van
Eyes Kim, Good morning.
Speaker 11 (13:44):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
So your question is is the thermostat temperature and setting
for the guest or for the host to decide?
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Tell me why you asked this?
Speaker 11 (13:58):
Yeah, I stay at a friend's house last weekend and
like her place was freezing and I'm talking like hoodies.
I was wearing socks under a blanket cold.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Yeah, And you know, the first I.
Speaker 11 (14:11):
Didn't say anything, but the second day I finally mentioned it,
and I was just like, hey, is there anybody, we
can like bump it up a little, and she did,
I guess, but it was maybe like two degrees made
no difference. I was freezing the entire time.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
So here's I don't know what you and Siceny and
Tanya and Ruby and everybody here thinks. But I believe
if you're if someone has been.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Well, I go two ways.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
I like to be a good host, so I kind
of adjusted for them, But I also think if you're
staying with them under their roof, then it's kind of
their call.
Speaker 7 (14:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (14:47):
I didn't want to keep pushing it because you know,
it is her house, but I was honestly so uncomfortable
the entire weekend, and so yeah, I was basically wondering, like,
what is the etiquette?
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Here's a post?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
How about look compromise between the two of you it say, Hey,
I mean, can I not have it at sixty seven,
doesn't have to be seventy nine, but can we get
up in there in the seventies seventy.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
One to share it? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:09):
I mean, look, compromise if you're staying at that person's house.
These are tricky things. That's why I don't like to
stay with anybody ever, because it's just I don't know. Towels,
water pressure like stuff happens, and what are you gonna say?
Speaker 2 (15:22):
What are you gonna do? You can't you know? And
that's it. So have a great day. Thank you, Kim,
appreciate you listening to us.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
It's one of two point seven Kiss FM. Mikey is
on the line in Sherman, Oak. So, Mikey, thanks for
coming on Second Date update. It's just not fun to date.
I mean, it sounds great until you actually have to
go do it. So, Mikey, you met her Dodger fan,
took her to a game, had a great time, and
(15:52):
then what you asked her out a second time and
she's blowing you off or she said no, what happened?
Speaker 9 (15:58):
Okay, yeah, so I guess let's talk about it? Right.
So I was, I was at the bar, right, and
I came back from my or from the bathroom, right,
and she's sitting in my seat right. So I said, hey,
I was like, you're in my seat, and she goes
prove it. Oh, the place was packed, right, and we
basically ended up sharing a bar stool like we just
kind of it was like a twoe thing, right, and
then we flirted the whole game, right, And at one
(16:20):
point I said to her. I was like, I was like,
all right, if the Dodgers win this game, you'll go
out on a date with me, like kind of like
joking or whatever. Right, it was a joke because we
were up ahead like six two in the eight, so
I was just like, obviously a joke. She agreed though,
and they won, so she gave me her number, and
then what, all right, so my work gets tickets like sometimes, right,
(16:43):
so I asked, and like I got lucky. Right. So
we went to the Dodgers Cubs game on that Friday,
and I was gonna get a Dodger dog and I
assume that she get like a salad or something, but
she also ordered a Dodger dog. And I was like,
oh no, I'm in trouble, right, I mean, I mean
it was great, like right, like we talked a out
weird yelled at the dumpstar, I ran into my cousin
Like could not have been a better night, right. So
(17:06):
we walked back to my car, right, which is it's
a long walk, right, And I'm holding her hand just
for a minute, and she's kind of like kind of
like she kind of like found an excuse to like
stop holding my hands, right, And so then I kissed
her good night, And when I dropped her off, it
seemed like her heart kind of wasn't in it, you know,
so like I don't know, something happened towards the end
of the game. I really don't know what it was.
I want this to work, but it just it felt weird.
(17:28):
Great day and then ended real weird.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
Well, bro, she's not into you. It sounds like she's
just not vibing. I mean, she gave it a shot.
Doesn't sound like she's into you. I mean she gave
you the courtesy kiss. But I'll find out. I mean,
you like her, Let's find out if something went wrong
or if it's just not there. You know, many times
it's just not there.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
It's no one's.
Speaker 9 (17:45):
Fault y'all gonna help me find out though, because I
mean the date.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Was great in your view, But did she think? So
we'll call her, we'll get on the phone, we'll ask her.
Next one O two point seven kiss FM. So I
want to jump into this. My man Mikey here he
goes and meets this woman named Jocelyn. They end up
going to a Dodger game. Both Dodger fans. He said
it was a great date. The game was amazing, and
(18:13):
afterwards they kissed. He said, though when they kissed he
didn't feel she was feeling it.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
He didn't think she was into it.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
That's the worst.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
And so maybe she courtesy kissed and is now blowing
him off. She won't commit to a second date. He thinks, Wait,
everything went perfectly. It has to be something else.
Speaker 7 (18:33):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (18:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Guys, chemistry sometimes just isn't there. You know, you can't
force it. So Mike, Yeah, I got her on the phone.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Be very quiet. Let me talk to her here. We're
all gonna talk to her.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Okay, hang on, Joscelyn, good morning, and thank you for
a green to come on Kiss FM. It's Ryan, It's
Cisiny and Tanya. You're on the air with us.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
How are you.
Speaker 7 (18:53):
I'm doing well about yourself.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
We're doing great. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
So we're calling you about a guy named Mikey that
you went on a date with to the Dodger game.
Speaker 9 (19:03):
Yeah, Dodger dude, tell me.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
About my key. What do you like about this guy?
Speaker 11 (19:09):
Yeah, he's a good dude.
Speaker 7 (19:12):
He's not my dude, but yeah, he's a good dude.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Did you kiss him?
Speaker 9 (19:18):
Well, what do you think?
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Good dude?
Speaker 9 (19:20):
Kiss him?
Speaker 7 (19:21):
Tell?
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Yeah, if you wouldn't mind.
Speaker 7 (19:26):
Okay, yeah, yeah we kissed.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
How was the kiss?
Speaker 7 (19:33):
It was fine. I don't know. I feel a little
weird talking about him on the radio.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
I do too, I do too, believe me. Yeah, so listen, Jocelyn,
he's not your guy? Why is there a reason?
Speaker 7 (19:48):
I mean, I was having a good time and then uh,
he got this text from his cousin and apparently his
cousin was at the game, and so he went to
say hi to him, and then he was gone for
like three innings.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
So he was not so purteous. He disappeared for a while.
Speaker 7 (20:06):
Yeah, like, why not bring me along and we can
both say to your cousin and then we'll come back
to this.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Like it's not that deep, it's so considerate. I understand. Okay,
So no shot to go out with him again?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Right?
Speaker 7 (20:19):
Yeah, I don't. I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
I understood.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
And Mikey is on the phone right now. Mikey, you
just heard Joscelyn say, did you kind of leave her
hanging for our three innings?
Speaker 10 (20:31):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (20:31):
Yeah, listen, you're She's right. I was that was pretty stupid. Like,
you're right, but I didn't think you'd want to meet
my family on like a first date, Like it seemed
like a lot you know.
Speaker 7 (20:43):
Yeah, I mean, but it's your cousin. It wasn't your mom.
Speaker 9 (20:46):
It would have been fine. It's just a long.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Time to disappear. I wouldn't want you to leave me
for three innings at the game.
Speaker 11 (20:53):
Bro.
Speaker 9 (20:55):
No, I know, I know, but he's a talker, like
I was. I was trying to get away, I swear,
but like he kind of just roped me in a
little bit.
Speaker 7 (21:03):
Yeah, there was borderline humiliating. I actually thought that maybe
you'd abandon me, and then I was thinking about how
I was going to get home.
Speaker 9 (21:11):
So look, Mikey, I mean I would so I would
never do that, all right, Like I mean, like I'm young,
I'm a little naive, but I'm a bit of a
work in progress like you. But like I can learn,
I can do better, I swear, and I would have
never left you there, and I can do better.
Speaker 7 (21:26):
I put that that's the thing I think I deserve
better than a work in progress, Like I want a
fully formed man. I don't want to project, you know,
but good luck Ashiel and go Dodgers.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Well, thank you Johnson for coming on with us. I
appreciate that great, thank you for your candor. Mikey. Yeah,
she's not for you. I'm glad that didn't work out.
It's good news. Okay, it's good news.
Speaker 9 (21:51):
Yeah, I get so. Man Hey, thank you.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Anyway, Ye work in progress. We all we all are
working talking.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
It's that's s.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Staying out.
Speaker 12 (22:06):
You stop to sad on air with Ryan Seacrest, Oh
one as two point seven Kiss FM.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
All right, I have a little box, a little thing.
It's like a little bird house. It's a phone house
where you can come over to my house and you
can put your phone in a little birdhouse and close
the door and you don't feel the drain of your phone.
I use it for myself and I ask others to
do it if they're hanging out sometimes in certain places,
(22:36):
for certain occasions. Now, are we finally going to see
a change with how kids use social media? Straight up?
No access, sistiny, What are the details on this?
Speaker 5 (22:48):
So California is pushing forward a bill that wood block
kids under the age of sixteen from using social media
at all, Like you were saying, they would have complete
zero access. The whole idea is to protect kids from
mental health effect and the harmful content online, which we.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
All know exists. But you know, people are divided.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
There's a lot of pushback about privacy, whether it's the
government overstepping versus something that parents should just be able
to decide on their own what control they want to
give their kids or not give them. But it's still
moving through the process. If it actually does pass, it
could seriously change the way kids use apps like TikTok
and Instagram and all of that.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Great. I'd like for it to be for some adults
as well.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
I feel like, wouldn't it be great ban it if
one no, one day a month it was national don't
use that stuff day or just like every Tuesday. I mean,
I know it's business and work whatever, but I don't
know something something, but I am all for it.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Coming up, we're gonna pay Bill on the nine to
five one kisses on It's May fifth, see go to
My Own Baby, Kiss one on.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Two point seven, it's kiss FM. See Chris Sisney tiny
in the back room. Everybody is here. I'm gonna bring
in Crystal zaio so Peaker. Last week we were talking
about this story. She's a hairstyle simpico and if you're
getting your hair done, it can be expensive. And she's like, look,
if you don't have the cash on you right now,
I'll take your something else in trade. So she's open
(24:14):
to trading out cooking meal drops, or cleaning or nails
or washing her car.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
She's down to trade for services. Crystal, thanks for coming
on with us.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
How are you.
Speaker 7 (24:28):
Hi'm doing well.
Speaker 6 (24:29):
Thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
But of course, so we were, yeah, kind of into
this trade idea. When it comes to you do the hair,
then somebody gives you something their food or cleaning or
something like that. A trade, a fair trade? Is it working?
And what have people given you after you've done their hair?
And Louve cash?
Speaker 9 (24:49):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:50):
So since I've posted, I've gone over almost two million
abews on it and one hundreds and hundreds of dms
of people in the community just messaging me with such
a great feedback about like getting their hair done without
actually having to pay for it. And ever and since
I've been able to trade with people who have a business,
(25:11):
small businesses, and also people who are just single moms
in the community that want to get their hair done,
but don't have the funds for at the moment with
this economy, So I've been able to trade with people
who have you know, cleaned us alon and then like
baking goods for us and super excited to meet more
people and give more opportunities to others without having to
pay for services.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
And so what if somebody says, hey, I don't cash,
can you do my hair? And they offer you a
trade you don't want in.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
That case, like, I am very transparent. I am doing
five trades a month to be able to give to
others opportunities and you know trade, so five a month,
but yeah, there has been others like, uh, you know
things that I'm really not going to use. So then
I've had to tell them like maybe in the future,
but yeah, I've not been able to trade with everyone
(26:02):
for everything.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Question like do you not have to tax on trade?
Is there tax to trade?
Speaker 6 (26:10):
No? So they just basically messaged me. They just messaged
me and say like, hey, you know I you know
I big cookies. Can I go in for like my
color service? And I'm like, yeah, for sure, if I
need that service, then we just go ahead and swap
it out and leave the money aside.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Well, look, I don't know what your situation is, but
if I do need to get my cut and color
in the near future, I am ordained I host weddings.
I can also announce things fine at an event if
you need, I can, you know.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Rally up.
Speaker 6 (26:46):
Of course I'm actually getting married, so you're perfect. I
got you what I need.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Right, Yeah, I just got ordained for Tanya here, so
I got my license and my card and certificates.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
It really is. Of course I took.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
You get like a badge and everything.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, seriously, So anyway, I'll make sure that we've got
your number.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Congratulations and thank you so much. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Crystal Zorios She's at Zario's Hair salon on Instagram.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
So much for having me.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
I love your show.
Speaker 9 (27:16):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Guys, I love your hair. Thank you. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Uh, Tanya, don't give me that look of possessiveness when
I offer my ordained service.
Speaker 8 (27:27):
Hey to be like Kim Kardashian here, but like I
feel like you're trying to take pieces of my wedding
and give them to other people, and like that's just
not gonna fly.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Okay, Well, I donated my time, my talents and my
services to go to another country after having to take
a course and stay there for a whole weekend to
do it. So I'm going to use my course certificate
when with whom I want. Thank you very much, Jane
one two point seven Kiss FM. Are you ready to
(27:58):

or Zara for Zara Larson tickets at.

a product sold at Zara the Fashion Store twelve locations
in LA and Orange County.
Speaker 2 (28:22):

to get three right before she gets three wrong.
Speaker 4 (28:27):

Speaker 2 (28:28):
And the first.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
One neon hour, neon hour Zora or.
Speaker 9 (28:35):
Zara, Uh, Zara, that's right.
Speaker 2 (28:42):

Speaker 3 (28:46):
I didn't say that. I just said it's Zara. She's
got to say an answer. He got one now, next

Speaker 11 (29:00):

Speaker 2 (29:02):

Speaker 3 (29:06):
You got two in a row now for the win.
Think hard on this one for the win. Midnight trick,
midnight trick? Is it Zara or Zara?
Speaker 13 (29:21):

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Nara the story. It is the story. You got a congratulations?
Speaker 4 (29:26):

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Thank you for your undivided attention with that game, because
I could tell you were honed in on it. Congratulations Nicole.
You're gonna go see Zara at the Greek Theater.
Speaker 9 (29:37):
Oh my gosh, my daughter is going to be so excited.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
I'm excited for you. Guys. Enjoy. Okay, thank you for listening.
Speaker 9 (29:44):
Thank you, you got it.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
It's a great game. We should play more games like that.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
Yeah, right, I mean I think we have pretty good
slew of winners.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
If we did, Yeah, people would love it.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
Right.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Oh is it Tom or Tom or Tom? Yeah? Exactly.
See it's different than the.
Speaker 14 (30:04):
Firest Let me two point seven kiss FM Siciny she
met the one, Tanya, she met the one, Ruby met
the one.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Now we're just left with Mickayla to meet the one.
And yeah, yeah maybe. And so the thing is, McKayla,
you have tried hinge, you have tried uh, what's the
other one? Rya bumble hedge, wedge, whatever has out there
(30:45):
she's tried them all and is out in the wild.
And I've seen these guys, Laurel Tavern. I've met some
of these guys. I mean I met them, but I
see their pick up lines in their photos. One out
of ten maybe gets a second look, but generally.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
It's rope out there. It is You've come up with
a new strategy to meet the one.
Speaker 13 (31:04):
Yes, tell me, I am gonna go to the Drafted
Singles Night at Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
Cute yep, And that's it.
Speaker 13 (31:16):
I got a bunch of friends We're going. It's a
three part evening, pre party, game, after party.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
So and everybody's single where in one section?
Speaker 4 (31:26):
One section?
Speaker 9 (31:26):
Yep?
Speaker 13 (31:26):
So everyone around me will be single.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
That is so cool, so fun.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
What a great idea. How come we have not thought
about this before.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
We've definitely talked about this last year. But yeah, it
sounds so fast.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
It's like we talked about the marathon every year.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
We never right, right, right, right right?
Speaker 2 (31:41):
I think this is great, But how about a wonderful story.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
Well, you know, it guarantees that they will be a
Dodger fan, which is necessary.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
I mean, at the very least, you probably hook up, right,
I mean somebody. I mean maybe right at least you
get someone hang with it's a Dodger fan.
Speaker 8 (31:59):
It's such a brilliant because I feel like when you
go out, that's like the number one thing I always hated,
like looking for rings on men, you know what I mean,
like seeing if they're saying you don't know?
Speaker 1 (32:09):
So now you know everybody around you was single.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
And if you see a ring on a man in
that section, that's a bad.
Speaker 8 (32:15):
Guy going with a friend or something.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
Well, this is it. It's gonna change everything. So what
will we do?
Speaker 3 (32:23):
I really look forward to your hinge pickup line, so
I have to find a new segment.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
I love those so much. I love them. All right, Well, good.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Luck, thank you, Please report back. I will take some
photos too.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
You got it? Take focus.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
This is a great strategy.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Yeah, I want to see all the guys that she
thinks she's you know, connecting with their.
Speaker 13 (32:46):
One second, I need to take a picture for Ryan.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yeah, exactly. Obviously, what do you think those two did
before they met their men? Hang on, guys, I got
to actually call Ryan. Didn't have phones back then. With cameras,
they do a live call in to me Ryan. Here,
meet Robbie any questions. Yeah, I got a few.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
What color you like? What's your favorite color?
Speaker 9 (33:06):
Bill?
Speaker 3 (33:06):
It is kiss up having Los Angeles, Zara Larson, tickets
counting up. Also non stop kiss music, so assistanty. The
question here that Tanya poses is do you know your worth?
And more importantly, she says, do you know how to
ask for?
Speaker 2 (33:21):
What's your worth? And why do you bring it up?
Speaker 8 (33:23):
Because Meryl Streep is doing press for the Devil Wars
product too. It's the number one movie in America seventy
seven million opening weekend. But back in two thousand and six,
when producers first offered her the role of Miranda Priestley,
Meryl said no, She told Jenna Bush on Today this week,
(33:43):
she said, I said no, I'm not going to do it.
She turned it down to see if they would double
her salary, and guess what.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
They did.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
They did right away.
Speaker 10 (33:54):
They called me up and they made an offer and
I said no, and I wanted to see if I
doubled my ask and they.
Speaker 7 (34:01):
Went right away and said sure.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
And I thought, I'm fifty six year It took me
this long to understand that I could do that.
Speaker 8 (34:11):
So reports say that her original offer was around two
point five million dollars. She walked away with five but
basically she said they needed me.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
I was she was ready to retire.
Speaker 8 (34:21):
But the moral of the story is that she was
fifty six years old and she's just kind of like,
it took me this long in my life to.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Really stalize the worth and stand up worth.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Yeah, I feel like if you're a Meryl Streep, it
goes better than some of us.
Speaker 8 (34:38):
Yes, But I also think too, there's something about I
think gender plays a big role. I think women in
general have a harder time. It's like just going up
asking for what they want in many you know, in
dating and in their professional lives. I think it is
like a gender thing. And so I think this. I've
been seeing this Meryl Streep clip make the rounds because
(34:58):
I think it really does empower women to just kind
of take a little bit.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Of that, you know, that male energy, and just.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Ask for what you want, ask for the order, ask
for your worth. And I want to see that movie
so badly. You have no idea too. My boys, for
my buddies and I we're gonna go see it.
Speaker 8 (35:15):
My good friends went opening night and said is amazing.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
I can't wait to see it.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
