You're on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, let's do this. What up, Mario?

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Courtney Lopez back behind the mic. Fired up that we
get to hang with you for the next few hours.
A lot of radio fun to get into, including my
wife and I battling it out in another fun pop
culture pop quiz.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
A little later.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Love when I battle it with you. Plus, we'll dig
into the buzz for a look at what is trending.
Share some fresh life hacks in my Corto's Corner. Filter
through our mentions to see what is on your mind.
So turn it up and let's go. You're on with
Mario and Corto Lopez.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Mario, Courtney Lopez here.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Back to the music in a sec, but first, Frazier's
going to make us think with a random thought floating
through his head.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
What you got? You know, when I was a kid,
I thought that when I was an adult, the Bermuda
Triangle would be more of a problem. So did I.
And it's not. Bermuda Triangle along with quicksand. Never been
affected by either. I agree. Bermuda Triangle. They scared us
to death about it.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Why?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
They just, like, planes went missing in it. Ships went missing.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
There was a lot of shows that were kind of
focused on the Bermuda Triangle had to do or had.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Something to do with it. Along with quicksand. Both never
really came to fruition. But it's ironic because.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Or I'm developing something right now in the podcast space,
hoping to make it into the TV space that has
to do with the real life sort of Mexican version
of the Bermuda Triangle.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Oh, yeah, that's right. The Zona de Silencio.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
We have a meeting about it, I think, later today.
But it's a real life Bermuda Triangle. And weird stuff happens.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Ships go missing. There's there's creatures there. And I read
those scripts that he asked for that podcast. And it
is some weird stuff. It's some weird stuff. Some weird
stuff that happens.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
On with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Omar Lopez. More music headed your way after a quick
look at the buzz. Apparently Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
have already added to their family. Their new fluffy white
dog is apparently receiving first class treatment, including specially prepared
meals and private jet travel. Well, this dog's probably living.
Better than, I would say, 90% of the people in
the world.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, this dog will be richer than me its entire life.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
The pup made its public debut last week when Travis
was photographed stepping.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Off a private jet in Palm Beach. Taylor's known for
her cats, though, remember? She's got three of them at
the moment. Meredith Gray, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. See,
I could never go out with Taylor without... Because I
would explode being so deathly allergic.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
That is true.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
However, if it was Taylor Swift, I would have to
take a lot of Claritin and might have to.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Suck it up.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
We would find a way to manage. Yes.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
At On With Mario on Facebook and X. At On
With Mario Lopez on Instagram. Love hearing from you. So
please hit us up.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Questions, comments, whatever you got. A few more songs. I'm
going to dig into our mentions to see what's on
your mind. That's coming up next.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
All right, out on with Mario Lopez on IG, out
on with Mario on Facebook and X.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Love hearing from you.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Questions, comments, random thoughts, whatever you got.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Who's this one from, Frazier? This is from at Tara
Talks or Tara. She used the at symbol in there.
I don't understand inefficient coworkers. I'm late every day, involved
in 47 conversations, going 20 side quests, argue with three
people minimum and still finish my work. Get it together.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Tara, you are a multitasker and somehow find a way
to be efficient.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Tip of the hat to you. Tip of the hat.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Let's hope your boss doesn't figure out who Tara Talks
is because.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
You might have it a little tougher.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Mario Lopez here, keeping the music coming your way as
we let you know that iHeartRadio is getting ready to
bring you the biggest Latin artists in the world on
one stage again at our iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina. It's going
down Saturday, October 17th at the Casella Center in Miami.
Allmari.com slash Fiesta Latina to find out everything you need
to know including a list of the incredible artists on
this year's lineup. Just hit up Ticketmaster.com to get them

(03:39):
before they sell out. I'll borrow Courtney Lopez, my wife,
getting ready to share something fresh in Kordo's Corner.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
What are we talking about today, honey?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
The monthly 10.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Oh, all right. Back with Kordo's Corner in 10, so
don't move.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
You're on Mario Courtney Lopez, making a quick pit stop
into Kordo's Corner for a helpful tip for two.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
What do you got, honey?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
The monthly 10. This is pretty cool. So if you
ever feel like summer flies by in a blur, you
might want to try a simple monthly 10 list. So
instead of creating a huge bucket list or setting ambitious goals,
you make a list of 10 small things you'd like
to do over the next month. So it's anything from
trying a new restaurant to finishing a book or taking
a day trip. And the idea is that new experiences

(04:25):
help make life feel more memorable and can even make
time seem to move a little slower, which I think
we all want. It's less about productivity and more about
adding a little joy to your everyday routine. I like it.
It's more about being spontaneous, but it's things that are
on your list that you want to do.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
You know, I love a list. I love a list.
10 is ambitious for a month.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Yeah, but not if you have kids. But I think...
The thing is.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
But it's okay if you don't knock them all off.
Maybe you can roll them over.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Yeah, they do roll over. There are no rules. But
you can't really tell your kids about this list because.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
They'll bug you.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
They'll bug you.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
More Mario Lopez next.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
You find yourself listening to the same songs and artists
over and over again?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
I do.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
I get a little kick. I'll listen to it a
lot until I get sick of it. Mario Courtney Lopez here.
And if you do, like me, new research suggests you're
in good company because apparently so do a lot of people.
New survey finds that 70% of us listen to the
same tracks and albums on repeat, meaning on average, we
listen to our favorite song 343 times a year. That's
a lot. And only have around six artists in rotation

(05:31):
at one time. Yeah, I can see that. I can
see that, especially if you start going through a little phase, right?
Like when Kendrick Lamar first came out, I was listening
to that album over and over.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah. I'm in my country moment right now. So I'm
listening to a lot of country right now. Why are
you laughing? Well, you had a reggae phase in the nineties.
I did have reggae.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
No, but I did.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I circled back. I like them all.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I had one a little last summer. You also had
a country phase in the nineties. I did, but I'm back.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I'm back. So I'm circling back around.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
But no one's as crazy as your friend at wildcard.com.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
What was his name?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Oh, no, Mickey Rourke. Mickey Rourke. Yeah. He played the
same song on loop while he was training and Bob Shapiro.
One song. Bob Shapiro wanted to kill him. Crazy, crazy.
Tell us what you think. What do you do? Add
on with Mario on Facebook and X.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yo, I'm Mario Lopez, getting closer and closer to our
2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival, September 18th and 19th at T-Mobile
Arena in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Two nights, one stage.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Live performances by BTS, Benson Boone, Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls,
Snoop Dogg, Weezer, Zara Larsson, Just Added, Ciara, and the
Smashing Pumpkins.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Also a special performance by Stella Lefty.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
And while the world is listening on iHeartRadio, you could
be there. Three chances every weekday for you to win
your trip for two, plus $ 1, 000.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Spend in money.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
So get all the info at onmari.com slash festival or
buy tickets now at axs.com. I'm Mario Lopez, and we

(07:11):
talk about slang here quite a bit. Even play the
slang game is a fun way to keep up with
all the current slang or old school slang. And while
a lot of it confuses the older generations. Sometimes there
are slang terms that older folks secretly like using. Redditor
started sharing some of the terms currently used by teens
that they actually like. For example, mog, which means to

(07:31):
outshine or outclass someone.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I haven't heard a full grown adult use mog. I've
not heard an adult use it, but okay. It's not
an acronym, right? No, it's just, it's you, it's you stand.
It's like you can mog with anything. So if you
think you look better than someone, if you stand next
to that person and look better, you're mogging them. I'm
mogging them.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
You can also say you're going to have a mentee bee,
which is short for a mental breakdown.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Come on.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
If a full grown man is running around saying mentee bee,
I'm sorry, brother.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
That's bad.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Then there is big backtivity, which is basically just eating
junk food.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Big backtivity. I like that. I like that one. That
one I might use.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
You can slide into our mentions and let us know
what slang you secretly like.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Adam and Mario on Facebook and X. Big backtivity.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Y'all, I'm Courtney Lopez. Gen Zers apparently at it again.
This time, the reportedly changing of people become sports fans.
A new survey says instead of.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Just picking a team and rooting for that team, half of.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Gen Z sports fans discovered a new sport or athlete
through stuff like.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
TikTok, Netflix docs, celeb relationships.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
The survey also found that many cheer for individual athletes
over specific teams. It admitted they would rather follow an
athlete's personal life than watch them actually compete.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
That's interesting.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
One of my biggest pet peeves are especially men. who
don't support their home team, and they just have loyalties everywhere.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Just in random cities. I like the Yankees. Never lived there.
I like the Dallas Cowboys. No connection. Never even visited.
Have no affiliation whatsoever. You have a few friends like that.
I know. They're awful. And I bust their chops all
the time.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
One dude likes the Yankees, then he likes the Dallas Cowboys,
and then he likes Chicago Bulls.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
There's no common thread. Exactly.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
There's no common thread. What's the matter with you? Why
wouldn't you want to support... your hometown or where you're
from you're pretty much Steelers through and through but now
you live in LA so you're a Dodgers fan too
so that's cool unless.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Like your hometown if your hometown doesn't have a team
then okay fine that's different if your hometown doesn't have
a team but your friends their hometowns had teams.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
They have teams you're exactly right if they don't have
a team okay then you can support everyone I'm LA
all day Dodgers Chargers LAFC Lakers.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Or Mario Lopez next I'm.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Mario Courtney Lopez. More music headed your way right after
a quick look at the bus.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Cindy Crawford's daughter, Kaya Gerber, currently starring in The Shards,
the new Ryan Murphy series, which she plays Susan Reynolds,
this 1980s L.A.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Prep school girl.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
It's a thriller, but she's making headlines for another reason.
She's speaking out against being constantly compared to her mother,
Cindy Crawford. She called the endless lookalike comments exhausting and
said she wants to be seen.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Listen, that is a compliment.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (10:08):
To be compared to your mother. Do you have a mirror?

Speaker 4 (10:12):
It's crazy though. The copy paste. Exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
She looks like a, she's like a slightly miniature.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
She likes a pixie version of her mom. Her mom
was at her age was much more, um, Womanly.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
She looks still very young at her age.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
But identical.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
But identical.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
It's crazy. But they do look very much alike.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
She'd be very sad if it went the other direction.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
But I understand what she means by she wants to
be seen because my son.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Keeps blocking me on TikTok. What?

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Dominic, because... He gets mad that sometimes I'll post his
videos on my IG stories.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
And he wants all the followers and attention that he
gets because of him.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
I said, it is because of you. I'm not in
the videos. It's all you.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I'm just your dad supporting and cheering you on from
the sidelines. I go, there's nothing wrong with that. But
he goes, no, dad, I don't want anybody. And so
he keeps blocking me.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
I said, unblock me.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
That's a true story, by the way.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
I'm Mario Courtney Lopez. Music rolls on after some quick buzz.
NBC's The Voice doing its first ever celebrity edition. They
announced Tuesday that starting production on The Voice Celebrity with
Kiki Palmer set to host.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
She's sweet. I like her.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Joe Jonas, Queen Latifah, Riley Green will serve as the
show's coaches. Riley Green, nice guy too. Season's going to
swap undiscovered talent for a wide range of celebrities, including actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, competing,
and some reality TV stars.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
It's going to air.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Sometime in 2027. But do the celebrities, I guess it's
got to go to, I'm assuming any prize is.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Going to go to like a charity. Because I don't
think they're trying to have a career after this, right?
It's got to go, it's got to be some charity topic.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
You don't know, I guess.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
I mean, or if you're an influencer who sings on
the side, this could be your way.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
So basically they're doing the Masked Singer without the masks.
So do you have good grooming habits? You're on with
Mario Lopez. Shocking new survey breaking down just how many
people out there apparently don't.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Frasier, what did this survey reveal? Well, apparently, one in
three people admit to going at least two days without
brushing their teeth.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Come on.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
That is absolutely disgusting. Come on, bro. How is that possible?
I don't believe you. I mean, if they're admitting it,
maybe they're lying. They have to be lying. I hope
they're lying. I can't go.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
I have to at least brush them at the minimum.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
A minimum twice a day.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
For sure. I try to three times a day, but days. Yeah,
I typically do. I think like three times a day
because I do it after lunch as well. How can
you stand your own mouth? That's just I don't know.
You're gonna make me throw up. We got to find
one of those people and ask them. Well, maybe we
shouldn't actually. Half of people don't wash their hands after
being out in public. Didn't we learn after covid like

(12:51):
it's so.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Easy now if you're not going to wash your At
least use those hand sanitizers.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
It's super simple. A third of people only shower every
other day. Every other day?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Come on.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
It's disgusting. About a third of all Gen Zers don't
use deodorant. Most think they just don't need it. Oh,
you need it. You need it, and you should use
it frequently. And one person in this room doesn't wash
the bottom of his feet.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Oh, wow. See?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
See?

Speaker 1 (13:15):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Mario and Courtney Lopez here.

Speaker 3 (13:18):

(14:04):

Speaker 2 (14:08):
To the radio.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
And playing trending songs across TikTok and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
I'm Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Have you ever said you'll start a diet, exercise routine,
or whatever, just a new habit on Monday?

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Well, experts say there's a better day to get started
on achieving that goal.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Wednesday, middle of the week. The thinking is this.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Mondays come with a lot of pressure. We load up
our to-do lists, promise ourselves big changes, and then get overwhelmed.
But By Wednesday, you're already in the groove of the week,
so adding a new habit feels more like a small
adjustment than.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
A major life overhaul. I feel like it's cheating. If
it works for you, okay. But I feel like if
you're going to start something, start on that Monday. Be disciplined.
Because guess what? Monday's going to come around anyway. You're
going to have to keep it up.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
But then you're already in the groove.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
On Wednesday? Hey, look, if that works for you, as
long as you get started, good for you.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
I think it's just you tricking your mind into whatever
you need.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
You're on Mario Lopez.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Music rolls on after a quick digital pit stop at
onmario.com so Frazier can tell us what's trending.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper sparking marriage rumors after an
outing in Paris. Get everything we know about that. Oh, okay.
Cardi B reacting after her hit song WAP with Megan
Thee Stallion goes diamond.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
And Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding vows apparently showed
off their sense of humor. Find out what that means.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Onmario.com for all that and more. Mario Lopez here, getting
close to the end of our radio fun. Just one
last thing to get to, plus probably enough time to
play a request or two before I get out of here.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
So if you've got a song you want to hear,
hit me up at OnMario on X. Yo, I'm Mario
Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Almost time to pass the mic, but not before we
squeeze in one last thing. Move over, Legos and coloring books.
The latest childhood toy getting a grown-up makeover is Play-Doh.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
I loved old school Play-Doh. I love the smell. Isn't
that weird?

Speaker 4 (15:56):
So good. No, so good.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Hasbro has introduced a new line of Play-Doh craft kits
called Blooms designed for adults.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Oh, well, these kits let people create colorful flower bouquets
that look Surprisingly realistic. It's part of a growing trend
of adults rediscovering childhood hobbies as a way to relax
and unwind. It's kind of like coloring. Right.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
It's exactly like coloring, but messier.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
But listen, when I was when I played with the
kids with Play-Doh, I enjoyed it. Like I would make
French fries out of it and eat them. Pretend it.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
All right, that's it. Thanks so much for joining us.
Hit up allnoir.com. Relive any and all of our radio fun.
More fun tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Jake Johnson and Mary Steenburgen will join us with a
scoop on their new pickleball movie, The Dink. All that
and more until then. It's Mario and Courtney Lopez saying,
The Dink.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
