Owning Manhattan, Season two of that on Netflix, Real Estate Powerhouse,
Ryan Sir Hunt intensifies his quest to build the world's
hop brokerage, expanding for three hundred to one thousand agents,
and there's all kinds of high stakes empire building, including
aggressive recruitment of elite talent and pushing into new markets
like the posh uptown housing scene.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Season two didn't even hear of season.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
One, didn't know season one existed so there's a lot
to catch up on if he wants to own Manhattan.
Spartacus House of Asher that's a spin off of the
original Spartaca series that's on Stars. My husband's going to
love this, Yeah, I think he will. And twelve Dates
till Christmas Hallmark a new series. It's actually a limited
series six episodes in which Kate, a dedicated textile pattern

(01:23):
designer in the quaint English town of Blexford, is stuck
in a romantic rut while caring for her separated father
Mac What.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Does separated father mean from her mom? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:33):
I think so?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Oh okay.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Well, or maybe his body is separated into two parts.
That's difficult.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
That could be that. It's a very different kind of movie.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Merry Christmas, You're on with Courtney Lopez. Countdown to Christmas
rolls on for just twenty days until Santa slides down
the chimney. Oh my goodness, I gotta get on a diet.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
My dogs are going to bark a lot when he's
coming down that chimney.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I don't think I can fit down my chimney right now.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I don't think you need to go down the chimney
and you can fit down the Chimney.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I know.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I know by the way, those awesome santas that you
have at your house, that you got at CVS.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
My Mexican Santa.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I saw a viral video. Somebody else was super excited
they found those.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I have gotten some really cute decor from CVS for
other holidays, and I'm not mad at it.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Those santas were the first things I saw when I
walked in your living room.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Good, I'm glad. All right, Well, anyway, we have an
obscure holiday to celebrate today, right, for sure.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
We do National Comfort Food Day.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
That makes sense. Today I feel like it's been one
of those days.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
It has been a weird day. I'm down for this.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Like I'm actually in. I'm in like comfy clothes. Everything
is about comfort today. You are all with Courtney Lopez
and I know we just talked about it being National
Comfort Day, but we just realize that's not all. It's
also cramps Not which is German for crampis Night, and
it is celebrated on the night of December fifth, the
eve of Saint Nicholas Day, which is tomorrow, December sixth.

(03:01):
Do I need to revieat that? Basically, it's a wild
centuries old tradition mainly in the Alpine regions of Austria,
southern Germany and a few other areas in that region.
And if you're wondering who is crampis as Am i
z Ami?

Speaker 4 (03:15):
He's not as Ami, He's Zami.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
What is he?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Frazier?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
He is a horned, demonic goat like figure from Alpine folklore.
Like you said, he looks terrifying, shaggy fur, curved horns,
a long red tongue, chains and bells, and he shows
up the night before Saint Nicholas for all these kids,
and he punishes the bad kids, so he like terrifies
them by hitting them with birch sticks.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
There was an episode of the Office where Dwight did
this and it's hilarious. You should check that out.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
How did I not know this? I would have been
threatening my kids with this a long time ago.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Start now, Happy holidays from the entire on with Mario
fam more festive fun coming up.

Speaker 2 (03:54):

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Not Saint is nine ten h ten?

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Uh Frankie Mounez from Malcolm in the Middle.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
He is middle aged now, so he's Malcolm who's in
middle age and he is.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Forty forty is correct?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Fourth level?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (05:41):
And finally from the Goo Goo Dolls.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
I don't not tell him your name.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
So I just listened to that song again recently, and
as an adult, those lyrics hit very differently.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I am a huge fan of the Goo Goo Dolls.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
They're amazing.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I think they're one of my favorite bands.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
In fact, John Resnik, who we're talking about right now,
was on the Holiday special with Mario The iHeart Holidays.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Oh very good.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Anyway, it's his birthday.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
How old is he, Johnny, You're fifty four?

Speaker 4 (06:04):
He is sixty.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
The countdown at Christmas continues in moments This is on
with Mario Lopez, On with Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Back to the music in a sec.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
But first, I.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Hope you're ready to laugh, because it's time for another holiday.
Mom joke. Fraser, I know you're not a mom.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
I'm not, but I want.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
You to take this because I want to see how
you would do it.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Okay, what does snowman eat for lunch? I don't know, Icebergers.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Please don't change the station. We'll be back in a second.
That was terrible. You are on with Courtney Lopez, and
we're keeping it festive and keeping you up to date
with the latest at onwithmrio dot com. All right, Fraser,
what is trending?

Speaker 4 (06:46):
I'm taking a live look right now.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Travis Kelcey makes surprising confession about his Taylor Swift romance.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Ooh, he's never been in love with it the whole time. No,
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Actually I think I know what it is.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Oh, what do you think they've never had a fight. Okay,
well you have to wait and see. You go to
the website find out.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Check out this crazy story about a mom who was
pronounced dead suddenly woke up in a morgue.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
No, this is okay. I thought being accused of a
crime was my biggest fear.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
This is my big crime is the second biggest fear.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Well, no, maybe it's still number one. But how do
you get pronounced dead and then you wake up in
a more.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
I feel like something shady has to be going on
with that, because your vitals can be measured and they
really do check to make sure, typically before they put
you in a morgue.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
So yeah, I don't know, find out what hospital that was,
and never go there.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
And a raccoon went on a drunken rampage, and a
liquor store passed out.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
In the bathroom. And you can check out all the
fun picks.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
My Spirit Animal on with Mario dot com for all
that and more on with Courtney Lopez. With Christmas just
around the corner, we're running out of time to get
all the holidays shopping done. And if you need some help,
maybe use AI. That's apparently what a lot of people
doing this year. The new survey found that seventy five
percent of US will use artificial intelligence to find deals

(08:06):
and sixty seven percent to get gift ideas. AI can
help look at products, listings, reviews, and of course price comparison.
Shoppers say they are hoping it'll save them time, money
and help them feel less anxious about finding the right gifts.
I don't know if I'm just turning into an old person,
but I don't ever use chat, GPT or AI.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Like I'll use some AI stuff for like work things
like prepping stuff for work or whatever. But for the
most part, like the only other thing is like maybe
photoshopping some stuff for fun. But like I'm not as
integrated into it, or it's not as integrated into my
life as some people.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I feel like it's when we went to debit cards
and I'm still using the checks.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Yes, yes, you're You're the old lady in the grocery line,
right I'm trying to write the check.

Speaker 1 (08:55):

Speaker 4 (11:32):
At three travel Roan Pony Club.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
You know this song she wrote like five six years
ago and now it's just killing it.

of the original nineteen eighty four version, and you are out.
Covers and remixes don't count, but just the classic track.

some quick buzz. It's crazy to think that it's been
more than three decades since Home Alone two premiered. That's
really I can't wrap my head around it.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
That does make sense because I think I'm still twenty something.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Well, new research just drops showing how much it would
cost for Kevin McAllister's stay at the Plaza Hotel in
New York City. The price of Kevin's solo trip has
spiked three hundred and three percent since nineteen ninety two.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
It's actually not as bad as I thought.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
No, but the whole stay from the hotel suite to
the room service Sunday was twenty one hundred back then,
but the bill now would climb to eighty five hundred.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
That's one boy, that's a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
And while that's a lot of money, like you said,
some rooms at the Plaza now cost as much as
thirty three thousand, and if you want to tack on
the home alone Sunday, be prepared to add on another
three hundred and fifty dollars. Who's paying three hundred fifty
dollars for a Sunday?

Speaker 3 (16:22):
I just paid eighty five hundred dollars for the room.
You can't throw me the ice cream for free. Come on, Plaza,
get it together, Tabby.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
This is from a Cactus, Cali, nineteen ninety one. Oh
you want me to work in December? When there's sugar
plum fairies dancing and the chestnuts roasting on an open fire?

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Get real?

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Does anybody work? And I know we're here right.
