Speaker 2 (00:29):
You're on, mariol Courtney Lopez. Time to put on our
ticket caps. Just get to Courtey's random question, what you got?
Speaker 3 (00:35):
What is a game that you've played as a child
that you love to play as an adult.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Fictionary? Love me some Pictionary, Still likes categories. Now, I
haven't played this in a while, but I'd still like
Monopoly too. However, Monopoly is like a never ending game.
It doesn't end.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
It is the kids like to play it, and.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
It's like it's more of whoever is it like has
some more stamina.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Or Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (01:03):
What out Mario Courtney Lopez Here, let's put a spotlight
on my wife. It's time for Courtney's random thought.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
What you got honey?
Speaker 3 (01:09):
If we aren't supposed to snack at night, why is
there a light in the fridge.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Well, sometimes as you get older, your vision gets poor.
Like myself, you need everything a little brighter, and sometimes
at night you don't want to turn on all the lights,
and just the light on the fridge is just enough.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
To grab that little piece of chocolate.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yes, it is.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
By the way, you need to go to the store
and get some more dark chocolate.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Come, I don't have anything killing me. Mario Lopez here
with a quick reminder that you can listen to this
show and podcast forum. We take out the music to
give you a quick daily dose of fun and we're funny.
You just search on with Mario on your heart radio
app or wherever you get podcasts. Ah Mario Courtney Lopez,
make it a quick stop in a Cordos corner for
(01:54):
a fresh life act. What you got on?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You know, I started doing it this December, but I
feel like I want to do it every month. We're
always ordering stuff online, right, so we're always getting tons
of emails, and then we don't want the emails anymore.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
We don't need the emails.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
So I go through my email and at least about
ten a day I unsubscribe.
Speaker 6 (02:16):
That's a good idea if you a little bit at
a time.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
You do a little bit every day, and it cuts
down all the junk mail that you get, and then
if you truly don't want those emails.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Anymore, you're not going to get them anymore.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
And I just think if you just take you know,
even five, start with five a day, unsubscribe.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Also, on that same note, if you have I know
this because I had to do it recently. If you
have Gmail, my Gmail, which I've had since Gmail started,
was like almost full, so I'd go in and like
delete a bunch of just crap that was in there.
There's a promotional tab and there's a way to go in.
There's literally a screen you can go to and just
click unsubscribe on everything in a list. You have to
show me, I will.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
That's a solid move.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

My brother, my brother did that of my dad when
he was about sixteen years old.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Wow, that's very cool to have right there. Congrats on
the new film Blue Eyed Girl. Trailer looks cool, kind
of a family drama comedy, right, what's the premise here?
Speaker 7 (04:12):
Well, you know, I love I've always loved films about family,
and this one, a lady is someone to visit her
two sisters and her father who's in the hospital ill.
And while she's there, she's forced to reevaluate her life
(04:33):
and to consider, you know, what her life could have
been if she'd made some different choices, and it sort
of turns her world a little upside down for a while.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
And I love films about family.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
I think they're usually really profound and a good thing
for people to check out.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
No, absolutely, I do as well. Speaking of which, your
co star in the film wrote the movie, correct.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
Yeah, Marissa Coffin.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
Yeah, that was one of the reasons that I was
attracted to the project at the beginning, because you know,
when it's when it's a personal journey for somebody in
creating a project, it just it just sets.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
The bar and sure you get a little more passionate involved. Exactly.
All right, Bo, hang tight, quick break, I'm going to
come back with someone more.
Speaker 1 (05:27):

Speaker 2 (05:29):

Speaker 7 (05:44):

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I bet they are. So what's their character up to?
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (05:53):
In season two?
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Yeah? Well Senior, he's uh, I want to give up.
Speaker 7 (06:00):
We've already done half of the second season and and
we're getting back at it in about a week to
do the second half. But I'll just say that Senior
always has a few tricks up her sleeve, which I'm
happy that that's true. But Jenny Erman are wonderful showrunner.
(06:25):
She doesn't won't tell any of us what's coming up,
you know, So I don't know. I keep asking. I said, Jenny,
am I good guy?
Speaker 5 (06:32):
My bad guy? And she said, well, you just have
to wait and see what the next one.
Speaker 7 (06:39):
So I don't know any more than probably any of
the folks that are watching. But it is exciting. They
always have something going on, and they are after me.
I'll tell you that much.
Speaker 2 (06:53):

Speaker 7 (08:21):
Yeah, and he you know, he stayed in touch with
all of us players, Oh wow, the ones that did
sit on the bench. And I still go to VIPs VIPs,
you know, for breakfast on Ventura Boulevard, which was his
place to hang out, and we bring our kids and
hang out with him and wonderful man.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
That is such a cool, fun fact. I like his
quote which I always remember, be quick, but don't be
in a hurry.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
So, if you're all Mario Courtney Lopez, time for one
last thing. And I was a little reluctant to share this,
but you know, it's it's uh, it's a fact of life,
and and I think it brings good awareness because people
may be reluctant themselves to get the procedure done. And
what I'm talking about is a colonoscopy. I had my
first this past week. Hey, thank you very much.
Speaker 6 (12:29):
What that age for that?
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yeah, we should clap believe you're sure. We do the
clat for that. And here's the thing. I don't know
why I was reluctant. I just I don't know. I
guess it's admitting you're you get to a certain age.
By the way that age is now forty five, they're
going backwards.
Speaker 6 (12:44):
Way you would, so you're seven years late. Correct.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
They just started with the forty five, like the past
year ago, about a past year they started.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
It was fifty originally it was That's.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
What I'm saying. They just started with forty five because
they're detecting a lot more men, specifically at younger ages,
that are developed co and cancer. And by getting a colonoscopy,
they see if there's any polyps or anything else in there.
That's preventative and highly preventive, and you can sit and
you can save lives because unfortunately, if you get too late,
(13:13):
it's just that too late, and there's nothing you can do.
And I got to say, the procedure itself, because they
put you under, you don't feel a thing, and you
wake up just groggy, but not in any sort of
paint whatsoever. However, the most grueling part is the day
before the prep. The prep is ridiculous because I've never
had problems going to the restaurant myself. I'm not trying
(13:34):
to be sort of grosser anything. You're one of the
best at it, I like to think, so thank you.
But this is next level. They give you some stuff
to take and they make it. Used to be all chalky.
Now they mix it with gatorade. You go, you just you.
You better not sneeze, you.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Better not cough, and don't leave your house.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Don't leave your house. You better be a restroom so
close by. And the sleep the worst night of sleep
I've had in years. I had to get up like
ten times. Yeah, to go to the restaurant. It was awful.
But afterwards and you're groggy going, you sleep well. So
it went well, I'm happy to say. But yes, it
is important that men and women for that matter, get
checked up.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Well, what I will say is they said that the
prep is the most important thing because you go do
all of that, and then sometimes you get there and
you cut corners on the prep and then they can't
do what they need to do, and that might also
cut time you're years down of coming back where it
could be ten, it might.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
