Wow.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Anyway, He's had eight trademark applications approved over the past
several months to stop AI apps from using his voice
without permission, telling the Wall Street Journal that he wants
to quote create a clear perimeter around ownership within the
AI world. You know that's something that public figures are
going to have to start taking into account because you

(01:07):
can create a whole individual from someone that's very much alive,
and technically you don't have to pay them anything unless
it is copyrighted. So wow, that's a pretty smart move
on his part.

Speaker 6 (01:19):
You should do that.

Speaker 1 (01:21):

people would do if they had more energy. Top response
spending more time with friends or family, followed by exercise
and taking care of their home.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
I actually this is very real. I do experience a
little bit of a dip, but I think that also
coincides with you just had lunch, and if you have
a big lunch, you want to take a MEMI Oh

You're right, you get gi Oh really, honey, taking you
to Europe and spending romantic time in Italy doesn't count, you.

Know what it does? It's the best gift. Well, with
that in mind, Valentine's Day has a way of sneaking
up on us faster than you expect because it's right
after Christmas. And if you wait until the last minute,
then the chances of a gift fail, well they increase,
you know. As I always say, if you're in a rush,
the gift will suck.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
You have said that once, and that's pretty true just
in life in general.

Speaker 6 (03:55):

Are you Danny?

Speaker 5 (05:34):
What what are you doing? Hey?

Speaker 3 (05:35):
I'm doing great?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Man.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
It's always so good to see you. And I can't
believe we're just talking right now off the mic. You're
gonna be eighty two this year. You look amazing. How
you feeling?

Speaker 5 (05:45):
You'll feel great? Still still?

Speaker 7 (05:47):
I told you I go about it around and a
half and it's about it a round and a.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Half of still better than most people. Man, Good for you,
and this is really cool. This past year we were
both lucky enough to be in the highest grossing Disney
film of all time, man Zutopia too. Kind of a
fun fact right there. It's now available, by the way
for digital rentals, and you play the character hesus in
such a distinctive voice. Of course, what what's your character
up to in this film?

Speaker 5 (06:12):
You know what? Let me tell you what's so funny though?

Speaker 7 (06:14):
In the airport, right and you got a little kid
yell mama, issus, issus hassus and uh it almost no, no,
that's a trip.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
And then voiceover rolls are so much. It's a lot
of work. A lot of people know, but it's a
lot of work. I remember you were like an albatross
in one of them.

Speaker 7 (06:31):
Right, Yeah, I love them because just because you can
show up in pajamas.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
If this is like we're doing right now. All right,
Danny Trejo is in the studio. We got more with
him coming up. Mario Lopez next, all right, getting back
to Danny Trejo, who's in studio Mario Lopez here. We
were talking Zutopia too. But one film fans would love
to know about is the next in the Machetta series.
Rumors of Machete kills in space film.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
We'll wait. We're waiting for Robert Rodriguez. Robert, get up up.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
I know we're gonna be visit him down in Austin
right there. And you've got yet another film coming out
soon National Lampoon's Hollywood Hustle. You basically play like an
exaggerated version of yourself, right, yeah, yeah, that's fun. Man,
that's awesome. What number is that?

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Now?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
We were talking about that the other day. You're like,
in the hundreds of films? Do you happen to know
how many films?

Speaker 7 (07:23):
Well, they've got me at four hundred and sixty.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Appearances. I don't know. My movies are in there somewhere,
you know.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Four hundred and sixty parents. That's got to be like
a world record of some sort. I don't know. You
just showing up. I love it. A Mario Lopez, Danny
Trejo in studio. And you also recently signed on for
a new sports comedy called Armadillo United, and Antonio Mondetos
is in that one, right, what is that one about?

Speaker 7 (07:50):
I'm also doing a god I'm on the History Channel
with the Mysteries on Earth and that's awesome. I did
ten episodes of that and then they just gave me
twenty more.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
So wait, you hosting that?

Speaker 5 (08:06):
What are you doing? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Hosted holes?

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah, that's all. And William too. William, well, he just
turned like ninety two or something. Oh, he's like you're
a kid in parandm zero. Yeah exactly. And as far
as Armadilla United, what's talking about.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
I love that you work so much, you don't.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
Know, don't care.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
I love that show up.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
You just show up. I like it. That's like me
at home. I just show up.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
And then Tellia gets so bad because if I show
up on the set and I said, do I have
words in this?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
We're the same wrapping up with Danny Treyholl, You're on
with Mario Lopez. And besides all the film and TV,
you're still in the food business. You got some restaurants,
trey hold Stocks and trey Hol's Donuts, which you were
so generous to bring today.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
We really donuts Cantina also, and.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
You're killing it. What's up with the donuts? What makes easy?

Speaker 5 (09:06):
You don't what those things are like?

Speaker 7 (09:07):
They're killing it because we got all those studios were
on Santa Monica Boulevard and Highland, so all those all
those studios come every morning and maybe have five boxes
and so so.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
You hook up a lot of the studios.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Yeah, thank wow, thank you donuts, you know.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Yeah, that's awesome man. And this whole space is something
you just kind of fell into or something else wanted
to do.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
By accident, I I went to help a kid that that.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
Was trying to stay off of drugs and he had
one hundred and eight days, I think, and I.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Actually went down to hang out.

Speaker 7 (09:42):
I ended up running into a friend of mine from
back at the University of San Quentin, Eddie Bunker. I
was a writer. Yeah, and he says, what are you doing.
I said, I'm hanging with this kid. And they asked
me to be an extra. So I'm gonna get fifty
bucks for acting like a convict and we like laughed

(10:05):
because we've been doing that for.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Free all alive.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
And so he said we need somebody to train so
out of box, you know. I said, what's it Bay?
He said three twenty a day, and I said, oh, Batch,
what's I beat up? I thought, three hundred and twenty
give me two more hundred.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
I'll kill him.

Speaker 7 (10:24):
It was, I mean, it was like nobody gets three
hundred a day. You and I started training Eric Roberts
for a movie called Runaway Train Wow. And the director
saw me and saw that I could get along with Eric. Yeah,
And so Andre just came up and just said, you

(10:45):
be in movie. You fight Eric, and then he goes
and you be my friend, and he put his hand.
Now look at him, and then he kisses me on
both cheeks and walks away. And I told Polker Eddie, look,
I'm going to be training the kid for the three twenty.
But if I got to kiss that old man, I

(11:05):
want more money.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Because people in European day kiss. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
If I would have known what that old man did
for me to give me that sac cord I had
come over, wash his bag, get that back with that
big car.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Dang.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Oh no, I'm glad you shared that.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Well.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Listen. Meanwhile, I want everyone to be sure to check
out Danny in the film z Utopia Too, which is
out now on digital for rental or purchase. Danny, always
great to see your brother.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
I bless you man, It's good to see you.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Here's the rolls on Mario. Courtney Lopez here with some
quick buzz for your Green Day. Set to kick off
Super Bowl sixty on February eighth at Levi Stadium in
Santa Clara California Band's going to be performing a medley
of songs during the opening ceremony at six pm, welcoming
past Super Bowl MVPs onto the field before the kickoff.
Billy Joe Armstrong said they're hyped to perform in their

(12:01):
backyard and honor the players who shape the game.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Green Day also joins the Big Games Incredible lineup of artists,
which also includes Charlie Pooth, who will perform the national
anthem at the game.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
And of course Bad Bunny is going to be performing
at the halftime show. We don't know who is going
to be joining.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Him, though, Almark Courtney Lopez. Fire up those brains, Cordo're.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Gonna try to make us think with a random thought.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
What you got muffins muffins backwards is exactly what you
want to do when you take them out of the oven.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Sniff them.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Oh that's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
That might be one of your best random thoughts.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
So exciting.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
See, I get excited when you have a good one.
You're a Mark Courtney Lopez. As for your new food
trend shaking things up in the new year, experts say,
get ready, these are some of the things we're going
to apparently be trying this year.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
So I haven't tried this yet, but it's boba and
popping pearls.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
What is a popping pearl.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
It's those things at the bottom that kind of just
burst in your mouth.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
Though that was the bob. I don't know.

Speaker 8 (13:20):
I understand that it seems like a choking hazard to me.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Kids love the boba.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Our kids do love the boba. So you can mix
and match textures and flavors to give any drink a kick.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Okay, protein chips.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
It's the crunch of potato chips, but made from chicken
or beef.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
I'm all about this.

Speaker 6 (13:38):
I love I love a potato chip, but they're.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Just so bad for you. But rotein chip with chicken
or beef, Okay, I'm about it.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
All things are the popping pearls.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
So boba is the actual liquid, I think, yeah, I
think that's not the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
I always thought the balls were the bobas designer dates,
basically grown up dunkarous.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
They're sweet, little poppable. It's really good.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
Okay, Okay, mac.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
And cheese flights. So hip restaurants are ditching the massive
bowl and serving many portions of different flavors of mac
and cheese.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I like this.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
I love it too. Think pulled pork, mushroom, french onion, troffle,
botter traffle, can get it, buffalo chicken, all delivered together
to sample.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Okay, now I want to find a restaurant that's doing
this because that sounds amazing.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
Well, now I'm saying that the pearls are called boba.
So I don't know, see.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 3 (14:31):
What out Mario Lopez?

Speaker 6 (14:32):
Here was a quick buzz for you. I'm not sure
if you caught him or not.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
But nominations for the ninety eighth Annual Academy Awards dropped
twenty four category is set to be awarded March fifteenth,
live on ABC. Five nominees in each category except for
Best Picture, which is always arbitrary, And they have ten
again this year, trying to invite everyone to them. Sometimes
it's like nine so random. I wish it would have
kept it five, but I understand politically they want to

(14:57):
invite more people. Blah blah blah, Allmaro dot com to
find out who's eating the nominees, who got snubbed, Everything
you need to know, keeping the music and fun coming
your way Mario and Courtney Lopez. Here got a song
you want to hear? He hit up o mentions at
on with Mario on Facebook and x at on with
Mario Lopez on IG. Don't forget to click follow and
join the family.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez digging into the buzz because the
Beckhams have just been called out by their own kid.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
On with Mario Lopez Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
So twenty six year old Brooklyn Beckham actually didn't realize
he was he was at old. I thought he was
actually a little younger. He addressed his family drama by
calling out his parents. In a pretty explosive statement that
he posted on IG. He revealed he is as strange
for his parents doesn't talk to them. David Victoria Beckham
has no intention of reconciling. He went on to accuse
him of trying to ruin his relationship with his wife,

(15:49):
Nicola Peltz, and of consistently disrespecting her, adding that the
narrative that his wife controls him as backwards, claiming and
staid that his parents have.

Speaker 6 (15:58):
Controlled him all.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
This fall absence from his dad's fiftieth birthday last year
and really marks a break between Brooklyn and their family,
and it's just sort of ugly and sad to see
being parents ourselves. It's it's it's I can't think of
a sadder situation than if your child gets married and
then wants nothing to do with you.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
You know, it's probably one of the worst things besides
death that could happen in a family when somebody knew
comes into the family and it gets torn apart, right.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
I tell you all.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
The time, and I'm I know, I joke all the time,
but we are so lucky, like you are lucky that
you have such a great wife. Because I don't sweat
the small stuff. I don't create problems. I let things go.
Not that there has been anything, but but I just don't.

Speaker 6 (16:56):
Want dramas trouble.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
No, I Do'm not causing trouble.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
But even if there's something, say, I don't like something
that's going on, unless it affects my kids in a
way that's detrimental, let it slight. I let it slive more.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Mario Lopez on the Way Award Show for Fans is back.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Mario Lopez here I heard Radio Music Award was going
down March twenty sixth on Fox. Voting is now officially open,
helped choose this year's winners for Best Lyrics, Favorite K
Pop Clab, Favorite music Video, and more. For your favorites

Speaker 2 (17:30):
At All, Mario Lopez on ig at All, Mario on Facebook,
and X love Hearing from you Mario and Courtney Lopez Here, questions, comments,
random thoughts, whatever you got, Quardo digging through our mentions
back to see what.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
You found next.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
All right, let's dig into our mentions to see what's
on your mind. You're all Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Which, fine, honey, Well this is from at this one
over here, and they said, man, mister Rogers had it
down cold, get home, change into something comfy, and then
right into the neighborhood of make beleave for some old
fashioned association from the horrors of reality.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
You know, I totally agree with this this went over here. However,
I slightly disagree with changing into something comfy. My guy
took off a coat to put on a button down sweater.
That's not exactly Why not, like, just leave everything off?
Why did you have to put on the sweater? I
was always wondering that. Right roll up the sleeves cold,
and you put on a sweater that's still not as comfy.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
It kind of sweater is.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Kind of you're back in the day.

Speaker 6 (18:28):
That was relaxed.

Speaker 8 (18:29):
He was also in Pittsburgh. The heating could have been broken, perhaps, perhaps,
but unless you.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Say it like that, people from Pittsburgh don't have heaters.

Speaker 8 (18:36):
No, it's cold there, and if you you've seen the
inside of his house, it's not exactly like I've.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Been to the set, have you really?

Speaker 4 (18:43):
I think when I was younger, well, that's kind of cool.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
That was just a weird move though with the sweater,
that was just the weird that was there, didn't you.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
I thought that was always a weird I thought it
was weird.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Take it off and roll up his sleeves and this
untucked the shirt. But to put on the.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
Sweater sweater, I mean to change shoes too, He didn't.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
The slippers I get, yeah, the slippers, I get yes.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
More Mario Lopez coming up, Mario.

Speaker 2 (19:07):

condense it down to a smaller daily dose. It's really
fun and funny. You can listen to our extended interviews

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Just open up the iHeartRadio app or whatever you use
to get your podcasts and search for on with Mario.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Here getting close to the end of our radio fun
just one last thing to get to plus probably.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Enough time to play a request or two before I
get out of here. So if you got a song
you want to hear, hit me up at all and Mario.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
On X.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
All Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for one last thing. Karen
is out.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
And Jessica is in. So Karen, poor Karen's in this
world the last oh, I don't know. Almost decade, Karen
has been used as a reference for someone who wants
to call the manager. Is just annoying, the problem individual,
just a problem individual. And I believe babies being named

(20:03):
Karen plummeted since that trend. Well, now evidently Jessica is
the new Karen. I kind of like the name Jessica.
I've never I've never had a problem with Jessica. I
don't think. I don't think Jessica has the same impact
that a Karen doesn't Karen. Jessica is kind of a fun,
sexy name. You know, well, now it's sexy jess Jessica,

(20:26):
You know, are there anything that makes.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
You go S?

Speaker 8 (20:28):
Are they sexy anything with S? Are they trying to
say that like Jessica's. Are the new generation of Karen's?

Speaker 6 (20:34):
Is that it?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
I think they're just trying to say they're over the
using the Karen phrase. Yeah, and now they're you're using
I don't.

Betrayal Season 5

Betrayal Season 5

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
