Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Lights of Red, Mike's Alive. What a Mario Courtney Lopez.
You're excited to be hanging with you for the next
few hours. A lot of radio fun to get into,
including a great guest Actress Emmanuel Shrieky is set to
join us, zooming in with the scoop on her new
movie I Love Like This and more. Plus, Cordo and
I are going to be competing in another passionate fake debate,
going to honor the comment of the week and catch

(00:24):
up on the buzz and more so, turn it up,
Let's go. You are on with Mario Courtney Lopez. New
questionable health trend. You're on with Mario Lopez. I'm sure
you've seen the viral girl dinner trend well and respond
some male fitness influencers recommending boy kibble and yes, it
does sort of resemble dog food. What is it? Well,
in its simplest form, boy kibble is made from just

(00:47):
two ingredients, ground beef and white rice. I've had that,
I've eaten that. Yeah, that's pretty good, although you can
throw in some spices, which is my move. Basically the
guy version of the viral girl dinner that's been out there.
Tristian to say, boy kibble is okay as long as
it's not the only thing you eat. Boy kibble, ground
beef and white rice. That's like when there's nothing really

(01:08):
left in the fridge and you want to get crazy
and make something really quick if you really want to
take a next level scramble some eggs in there.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yeah, and you have to use spices. You can't just
go bland.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yes, more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
All Mario Lopez, keeping the music coming your ways. Fraser
tells us about a few of the new things hitting
TV and.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Streaming second season of Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple TV.
In season two, Andrew Cooper played by John Ham, doubles
down and his life is an unlikely suburban thief until
the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his
secrets and places family at risk.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, that's a funny premise. You lose all your money,
but so you start stealing from your friends to keep
up with the Jones as.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Wow, and season one sparked that meme of him dancing
in the club or whatever, So maybe we'll get one
out of season two. Dreamstage HBO Max Season one of that.
It's a Japanese drama series all about the K pop world.
Once a genius music producer outed from the industry after
a major incident or scandal. This producer actually meets the
seven member kpop group and then takes them through the

(02:09):
whole process of trying to succeed as the next big thing.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Kpop is everywhere. Now it's getting into the drama stages
over at HBO.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Wow Takeover and Gina Lolo bridgeta Diva Kintessa HBO Max
series premiere of that. The series chronicles the intense legal
battle that erupted over the multi million euro fortune of
the iconic Italian actress.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I know there was a lot of drama involved with
Gina Lolobrigida.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah, apparently that name. Apparently it involved her longtime partner
who was thirty four years younger than her, her son,
her nephew, and personal assistant and manager.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Oh wow, a lot of shadiness. Okay, sounds good, Amaro
Courtney Lopez. Almost time for a weekly fake debate, So
you got to choose your side, t Mario or Team
Quordo because we're just a few songs away from battling
it out while we get ready for that. I'd love
to play a song for you, so Vieta request. Please
drop it in our mentions over on Facebook and x
at onward. Why al war on Courtney Lopez. Time for

(03:08):
our weekly fake debate where the topics are made up
on the spot, but the passion is real. All right, Frazier,
Who's pro? Who's gone?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
You are going to be con? Courtney will be pro.
You have fifteen seconds to make your case, ten second
rebuttal afterwards. Your topic today is no undies jiu jitsu.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
No undies while doing jiu jitsu.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I am con you are con Courtney is pro Courtney.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
You know as I get older, your body just needs
to regenerate. It needs to just breathe, and it needs
to just show the world.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Mister Lopez. Wow, no drawers during jiu jitsu is crazy
work because you need support when you're rolling around and
you could really hurt yourself.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Mister Lopez, that is so ridiculous. You're doing jiu jitsu,
so you're already going to hurt yourself. It helps all
the things.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Ironically, wrestling, way back in the day, grappling used to
do naked shut up.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yes, in ancient Greek culture the first Olympics, they actually
wrestled naked.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I have a historically these two Greek wrestlers wrestling their
vicious More Mario Lopez coming up on Mario Courtney Lopez,
letting you know that we want you to see Demi
Levado on her It's not that deep tour and you
get to pick the city. We're gonna handle everything too,
including the It's not that deep vipp package.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
How are you doing great? It's so nice to see you.
You look amazing as as.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Always, and congratulations on the new movie called A Love
Like This I like how it's described a tangled web
of love, lust and lies.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
So pretty much, uh, pretty much love. What's going on
in this one? Pretty much love all the colors. That's right,
That's right. So what's the premise?

Speaker 5 (05:24):
So basically, we are.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
We're it's a little voyeuristic, it's it's a it's a weekend.
It takes place in a house mostly, and it's really
just two people and we see this very deep passionate love.
These people that have been in love since high school
and life has taken them in other directions and we

(05:49):
find them on this weekend.

Speaker 8 (05:51):
Nice and it takes not to give too much away,
got it?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Okay? It takes place in Malibu. Did you get to
actually shoot in Malibu?

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (06:01):
Nice, Sean in this beautiful house overlooking the ocean. I mean,
talk about very romantic.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Eating the vibe like it was epic.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Very romantic sets the vibe for sure. Wellowoamrio dot com
to see a trailer for a love like this and
hang tight, quick break and we're gonna come back with
some more Emanuel.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Al Mario Lopez getting back to Emmanuel shrieky who's hanging
out on Zoom talking about our new movie, A Love
Like This, which is out now, and you're also a
producer on this film. How'd you how'd you like one
of those sights?

Speaker 5 (06:34):
I really love producing.

Speaker 8 (06:37):
It's it's you know, I've done it a few times.
I really want to continue. It's just so nice to
kind of be on something from the ground up and.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Like see it Flower. It's really awesome. I really enjoy
it for you.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
All Right, Hank, tight gonna play a few more songs
and we're gonna come back with some more. Actress Samanuel
Treegy hanging out on Zoom with us is Sury. You're
all with Mario Lopez new movie is A Love Like This.
But I saw you were also in season four of
The Lincoln Lawyer over on Netflix. Were you familiar a
fan of the show prior?

Speaker 8 (07:14):
Yeah, I mean I hadn't watched it religiously. I had
seen sort of scenes here and there, but I knew
that The Lincoln Lawyer was kind of.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
A phenomenon, like it really is. Oh my god, it is. Why.

Speaker 8 (07:29):
I mean, I haven't had people be so excited that
I was going to go do episodes of something than
The Lincoln Lawyer, like so many texts of like, h
it's my favorite show. But it was great, And I
mean gotta mention shooting in La the best, the best.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
You're right, You're absolutely right, you know.

Speaker 9 (07:50):
Ironically, my son, one of my sons, Dominic, is also
in The Lincoln Lawyer at the moment.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
He's doing a little recurring characters.

Speaker 9 (07:57):
So I know when I told people, realize it was
such a it was like the number one show.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yeah, globally, that's crazy. I know, that's crazy. Are you
are you? Did you already do your your your stint?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
It?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Does it?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
We aired? Okay?

Speaker 1 (08:14):
It was.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
It was really a great experience.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I don't know if you might have scenes with you
and stuff because he's doing it right now.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Oh yeah, too bad?

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah all right, well hang tight, little music, then we
can come back with some more. Manuel. You're all Maria
Lopez catch up with actress Manuel Shrieky this hour. And
one of your first roles, of course, was on the
iconic Nick show Are You Afraid of the Dark, which
featured all kinds of stars, yourself, Ryan Goslin, Nev Campbell,
Melissa Joan Hart, my old buddy, what do you remember?

(08:44):
About that time.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Oh, oh my god, I was like, are you afraid
of the Dark? I was seventeen. It was.

Speaker 8 (08:55):
Literally like one of my first lead roles, Like it
was my episode and it was a thrill. We were
shooting in Montreal. It was in the summer. It was
so hot and it was great. It's so funny how
that show keeps popping up. Yeah, I think because you know,

(09:16):
there's this like a revival of all things somewhat vintage,
and that keeps coming up.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, well, something else that keeps coming up. I'm sure
people approach you all the time. Still is Entourage, and
that seems to always find like a new audience in
our next generation. So I'm sure people have mentioned that
to you all the time as well.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Huh.

Speaker 8 (09:34):
Yeah, it's kind of wild, Like it's wild that you
know now, like a whatever, nineteen eighteen, nineteen twenty year
old we'll watch it and they're obsessed, like they identify
with one of the characters the way that you know
they did back.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
When it was it's the best.

Speaker 9 (09:55):
It's the best, and it correct me if I'm wrong,
But it came out prior to social right, Yeah, prayer,
So that's all that's I think what's captivating too to
see that just that that little time capsule and where
you can really go out with your boys and enjoy
yourself and you have to talk and you have to
go up to a girl if you like.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Her and you want to talk to her. Why am
I just swiping and all that? That's like, that's IM feeling.

Speaker 8 (10:17):
After And it's so interesting because if you watch the
episodes now, I mean like phones on the show were
literally to communicate. There was no social media what you're saying,
which translated to set too, Like we weren't instagramming. We
weren't like we were able to be more present in
a way.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah, exactly, not the good old days. Yes, okay, man,
you'll hate time for me. One more thing I want
to ask we when to take a quick break and
come back and wrap it up.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot
Com more Mario Lopez on the.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Way wrapping up with actress Emanuel Shrieky or on Mario Lopez.
And last thing I want to point out too, because
you're big with a philanthropy and things like hope for
a Congo colon can answer anti semitism? Is there any
projects you're involved in right now, you want to mention right.

Speaker 8 (11:05):
Now, you know, it's still sort of all the same
things I would say, probably, you know, being very vocal
about anti Semitism is taken front and center these days,
as you could imagine. But you know, I feel like
that's just an ongo ongoing, lifelong thing, and yeah, just

(11:27):
doing what I can.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Well, good for you, Good for you.

Speaker 9 (11:30):
Nice catching up with you, and listen everyone, please be
sure to check out Emmanuel in her new film I
Love Like This.

the first circus performance in America, which took place on
April third, seventeen ninety three in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Well that's a fun fact for a circus took place
in the seventeen hundreds in Philly. I too, performed in
a couple of circuses, the Circus of the Stars a
couple of times. Did the trapees, which I all have
a let of respect for. Shout out to the Pharfan

Speaker 3 (12:42):

(17:45):
crazy TikTok trend first, the more music. Now, if you
deal with anxiety, this latest TikTok trend maybe something to
look into. Mario Lopez. Here TikTok's latest comfort trend, the
anxiety Bag idea is to carry a small pouch filled
with items that help calm you down, especially when you're
out and about. People are packing things like gum, sour candy,

(18:06):
essential oils, fidget toys, meds, headphones. Even a cold pack
therapist say it works because it creates a sense of
preparedness and safety, which anxiety tends to wipe out. It's personal,
low pressure and all about having comfort within arm's reach.
While I always have gum in my pocket, not a
big sour candy guy, the essential oil thing. Were supposed
to just bust that out, start rubbing on yourself.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
I don't That seems like a weird one to me.
The bad eye carry is full of stress because it's
all my work stuff.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Right, A coal pack I supposed to be cool.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Yeah, it's not gonna stay cold.

Yeah all right, I'm gonna stick with the gum more.

the week. Back to see what Fraser pulled for us next,
But first, more music. All right, it's on a wrap
up this Friday with a comment of the week Mario
and producer Fraser. Here what do we got this week?

Speaker 8 (19:37):
Fraser?

Speaker 3 (19:38):
This one comes from at Rosie Kennedy. Nobody fell off
harder than the hammerhead Shark. Was a top shark for
me as a kid, and now completely obsolete in the
media and conversation. Do they even exist?

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Well, if you're in Mexico, they are wildly popular. Really, yes,
especially in the port of Iarta beaches right there. The
hammerhead sharks I think gravitate towards that area for some reason,
I personally haven't seen them, but there's always warnings and
they're always around there.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
They feel like cartoon characters to me.

Speaker 9 (20:11):
They do.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
They are trippy looking. They look exactly like a hammer
But yeah, you don't want to see any kind of shark,
much less that.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
One or Mario Lopez next.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
All right, that's it. Thanks so much for hanging out
with us. Also thanks to Emmanuel Sheriki for zooming in
