Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
All right, back behind the mic.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Back to work, Mario Courtney Lopez. You're fired up that
we get to hang with you for the next few hours.
A lot of radio fun plan including a quick musical
trip seventeen years into the past with our throwback soundtrack
looking forward or I guess backward to that.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Plus I got some back to school fashion hacks to
share over in Cordo's corner. Will ask a random question,
and are you rusting out? I'll tell you about the
latest workplace syndrome, all that and more. You're on with
Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So are you rusting out at work?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
What?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Mario Courtney Lopez here? Obviously we all know about burnout
from too much work. Well now experts say more people
are actually experiencing the opposite problem, rust out, which is
what happens when employees feel underused, unchallenged, and disconnected from
their jobs for long periods of time.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
People are complaining about this. I would imagine it's easy money, right, I.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Mean, pick and choose your battles people right. Rest Out
can show up as a chronic boredom, lack of motivation,
going through the motions and feeling like your skills are
being wasted. So what's the prescription for rust out? Push
yourself to seek new projects, learn new skills, or ask
for more to do, and then don't complain when you
have more to do.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Exactly if your salary is not changing, then I wouldn't
ask for more to do. I would work on your
side project and put your energy towards that.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I'm definitely not rust out over here.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
More Mario Lopez coming up, yl Courtney Lopez here keeping
the music coming your way, as Cordo quickly tells us
about some of the new things hit in TV and streaming.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Outer Bank Season five on Netflix. In the final season,
the pogues seek revenge and redemption after a major loss.
All ten episodes begin streaming today.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
That's it for the Outer Bankers.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Ah Blood Sacrifice. It's also on Netflix. This is a
new Swedish crime I Don't Know Why I Went Country Country,
a limited series about a detective teaming up with his
estranged father to catch cop killer Okay and Novik Jokovic
The Wolf in Winter on Prime Video. It's a documentary
chronicling the tennis legends journey from hard scrabble courts in

(02:12):
Serbia to becoming the most accomplished champion in men's tennis history.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Nice a, Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Keeping the music coming at you.

Speaker 3 (02:21):

in Vegas, two nights, one stage, credible lineup, two Bts,
Benson Boom, Cardi, b Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny.

dot com slash Festival.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez, more music.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
It is your way right After a quick look at
the buzz, sounds like Tom Holland is said for life
thanks to Spider Man.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
Word is.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
When it's all said and done, he's likely going to
have bank more than one hundred million just for the
latest installment. Good for him, Brand New Day.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Good for him.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, Tom salary alone was twenty million, but he gets
a percentage of the profits. And since the movie's already
made two billion, that's gonna be somewhere in the one
hundred mill range. Not bad for a kid that started
off Billy Elliott tab dancing and now he's slinging in webs.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I like him, so good for him slinging webs.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I like that You're a Mario Courtney Lopez a little
more music. They're going to dig into our mentions to
see what's on your mind. At onan Mario Lopez on IG.
At On with Mario on Facebook and AX. Questions, comments,
random thoughts, whatever you got back to see what you
sent our way next? All right, add on with Mario
on Facebook and AX. Add On with Mario Lopez on
IG Love hearing from you, Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Here would you find honey?

Speaker 4 (03:40):
This is from at Philly Dice And they said, I agree.
The OG Miami Vice guys had a much more mature look.
But Fraser was right. The guys in the new movie
are both actually older than the OG's when they started.
Don Johnson was thirty four when he started the show
on Austin Butler. It's currently thirty five. Philip Michael Thomas
was thirty five when he started, and I think Michael B.

(04:01):
Jordan is thirty nine or maybe forty already.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Yeah, we talked about this, and it's not that they
were older, they just look more mature and like man
Don Johnson looked like a man. Austin Butler looks like
a freshman in college.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Right, well kind of think of golden.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Girls exactly exactly. They were the same age as the
Sex and.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
The City ladies, right, So it's just people look more mature,
but the men, I think, just look more with all
due respect, now you're marred manly, right, more masculine and
just like they've lived life at that age.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
So but hey, we'll see how they look when the movie.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Year's Wora Mario Lopez coming up, Arm Courtney Lopez, your
music rolls on as we remind you that I heard
TikTok Radio is bringing your for you page to the radio,
making your life a little easier with hacks on the twenties,
getting spicy with hot takes, and.

TikTok Radio on your free iHeartRadio app, and stay connected

Speaker 2 (05:06):
All Mario Courtney Lopez. Just a few songs away from
Quarto's Corner, where we're gonna be talking about what today, honey.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I got some fun back to school fashion hacks.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
All right back with Cortos Corner.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Inten, don't move, You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
All Mario Courtney Lopez making our bi weekly stop in
Quartos Corner for something helpful.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
What you got for us today?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
You know we should get Nico in on these fashion
hacks because he's all into on his tiktoks doing fashions.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Son has turned into a fashion style of stuff.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I told him I couldnot buy you any more clothes
just so you can make content. It's not happening.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
I know, I know he needs to chill.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Anyway, I got these from him. You layer a graphic
tea under a button down and roll the sleeves for
an instant polished look.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
That's old school.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I like that mix through fines with basics, like a
vintage jacket over a plane hoodie to stand out without
breaking the bank.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
It's a smart look right there.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
And try Closet and Max, a neutron that encourages people
to shop their own closets instead. The idea is simple,
rediscover clothes you already own, bring forgotten pieces back into
rotation and create new outfits without spending money on new ones.
You know, I try and do this, and actually it's
always my New Year's resolution to wear things I haven't
worn in a long time, or things I bought and

(06:20):
have it worn because I tend to do that. I
buy for an occasion coming up that never comes, and
then I never wear it.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
This is probably the strongest hack right here. Closet maxing
is real.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Wiw Corney Lopez here music rolls on after some quick
health buzz.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Want to keep your blood pressure in check? We eat nuts,
I do.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
New research shows eating a handful of nuts each day
means a twenty percent lower risk of developing high blood pressure.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
That's pretty significant.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Nuts contain a lot of nutrients, including fiber, plant based protein,
and vitamins.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
EKC and B. It's also a healthy fat.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
I love a handful of nuts, whether it's almonds, cashews, pistachios,
not salted by the way, in its raw form. But
it can hold you over too if you have a
meal coming up, but you're still a little hungry.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
But good tip here.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez got some August twentieth birthdays
celebrate a little later this hour. Hank Tight for those
also going to make a quick digital pit stop at
on Mario dot com to see what's trending in a
bit as well.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
In the meantime, you got a song you want to hear,
just drop into our mentions, add on with Mario on
Facebook and X and Hank Tight back to ask a
random question.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Next all Mario Courtney Lopez wasted no time getting right
to a random question.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
What you got, honey?

Speaker 4 (07:51):
All right? For fifty million dollars, would you eat one
entire raw onion like an apple or once a day
for an entire year?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yes, yes, yes I would.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Don't you think we've we've had sort of random questions
like this that involved smoking, drinking, really potentially damaging to
your health. I don't think you can get in too
much trouble with your body if you're eating raw onions,
don't get them too close to your eyes and you
might be crying and stuff.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
But I think I think you're pretty good.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Yeah, eating a raw onion, I mean your breath, well, yes,
there's that, but I don't think you're physically going to
become ill.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I don't, at least I don't think that.

Speaker 7 (08:30):
I don't know that we know the long term effects
of eating an onion a day.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
We don't, but it doesn't seem too detrimental. And for
fifty million dollars, I'll take that shot.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, we can go to our Gentia.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Can I say?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
What bothers me?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
You have to eat it like an apple? Well, you
just had to eat a full onion.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
That's easy because I could incorporate it apple like an apple.
That that makes it tough, but still very doable.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I'm in more Mario Lopez on.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
The way a Mark Coroney Lopez Music rolls on, but
wanted to quickly mention that we've got your chance to

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Day, National Radio Day.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yes, do you know the first year radio was I
don't want to say invented, but was starting to broadcast?

Speaker 1 (09:52):
No?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I don't neither do I let's ask check.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Bringing up a fun factor without knowing what is the
first year radio?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Should I say was invented or broadcast? To the show?
The answer I found is eighteen ninety four. Eighteen ninety four.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Well that's how people got their news for a long time.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
That Nope, but think about that. That's incredible because TVs
didn't come into play until fifty some odd years later.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Yo, Amaro, Cotney Lopez, it's time to shout out today's
leb birthdays.

Speaker 2 (10:23):

Age who we got Jimmy Levato, Oh man, you know
you think Timmie the motto Miley Cyrus.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Lena Goma is at Disney Crew is really young, but
I'm I think they're like early thirties now.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Which is, by the way, he's still really young, but
you think, well, you know a lot younger. I'm gonna
say she is thirty four.

Speaker 6 (10:45):
She is thirty four.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Look at that? Did I just find that was that good?

Speaker 4 (10:49):
I was gonna say, do you think people call Hervato.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Probably for short?

Speaker 7 (10:53):
Andrew Garfield the Amazing spider Man, the former Spider Man.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I guess good Wig good Wig Andrew Garfield does, and I.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
We're on nickname basis. He is forty six.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Garfield is forty eight, forty three, forty three.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Amy Adams American Hustle Arrival, which is an incredible movie.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
She's in a lot of great stuff, and she has
a daughter that looks like Carla Johansson. Amy Adams, I'm
gonna say she's forty eight, forty nine, fifty two, okay,
fifty two. Fred Durst, Oh, that's Nichol's favorite dude.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
I just remember him and Christina Aguilera, That's all I remember.

Speaker 7 (11:38):
Did they go out, I don't There was like a
weird thing there. I don't remember if they went out
or if they were like at each other's throats or something.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
But there was a weird thing.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Yeah, Fred Durst and I think they did a.

Speaker 6 (11:49):
Song together actually like an MTV Video Music Award Or was.

Speaker 4 (11:53):

Speaker 4 (12:05):

Speaker 6 (12:06):
Who's the real Fred Durst?

Speaker 4 (12:08):

Speaker 1 (12:08):

Speaker 6 (12:09):

Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Amaro Courtney Lopez back to the music right after quick
digital pit stop at on Mario dot com, so Kordo
can tell us what's trending.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Know.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
Hillary honors the Evervessen Hayden Pennatieri with a fond tribute.
You can see that and all the other celebs who
have spoken out since the news broke of her tragic passing.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
It's very nice yesterday on Access Hollywood. I didn't realize
that Hayden Panetieri did a film Ice Princesses with Michelle Trachtenberg.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 2 (13:20):
We'll also diet very much two years ago. How tragic? Yeah,
and sad. That's kind of eerie.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
It's very scary. Ariana Grande Ria Knights with Cynthia Cynthia
Arrivo for a surprise a wicked duet. Sure, and why
Julie Andrews isn't returning for Princess Diaries.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Three Andrews hanging in there.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Nice on with Mario dot Com for all that and more.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Alborrow Courtney Lopez back to school creeping up on us.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
It's a great reminder that teachers make a difference each
and every day. Now's your chance to say thank you
with Iheartradios thank You Teacher, powered by donors Choose.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
This is your chance to nominate an outstanding public school
teacher who goes above and beyond on the students, and
then they could be one of our five thousand dollars
winners for our classroom supplies and resources. Teachers give so much.
I know that firsthand. Now it's our turn to give
back to them. On with Mario dot Com slash Teachers
to find out more and nominated teacher.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Now sopy' all Moro, Courtney Lopez, and I just wanted
to share something about our amazing partner, Audible.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
They have stories that really speak to you.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
And it's so true because what I'm loving and listening
to right now has really captured my attention and it
makes the drives really go by fast when you're stuck
in traffic.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
I mean, we are always excited to collaborate with Audible.
They have a massive library of audiobooks and ad free podcasts,
which I love. You get a list narrators, full cast
productions that bring the characters to life, and the sound
design and the music just immerse you in their world.

Speaker 6 (14:51):
I believe you can actually even hear Mario narrate his
own book.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
It's funny because we were talking about something similar on
National Radio Day, how they used to have full on
productions and shows for.

Speaker 6 (15:02):
The radio plays. Yeah, correct, and they exist now on
the four podcast.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
It's exactly what I was just about to say. It's
sort of ironic that one hundred years later we're kind
of revisiting that, and I can't wait to get back
into the fourth option. This is written by Jack cart
The first book in his new series about a former
Navy seal who takes the law into his own hands,
gets me fired up.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
Well, you know what I am excited about. The Misconnection.
It's written by Tia Williams. I love this one and
this delicious romance a woman searches for the handsome stranger
she sat next to on a plane. I always loved
those stories. Okay, unfortunately I just started it, so I
can't give much away, not that I would, but I
can't wait to get into it.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Yes, you can discover something unexpected on Audible Stories. I
really speak to you, and new members can start listening
with a thirty date free trial at audible dot com.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Slash On with Mario.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
For Mario lopezt.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Almio Courtney Lopez music rolls on after some quick buzz.
This one seems like a strange pairing.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
A new Hello Kitty and Godzilla Happy Me Old Toy
Collections coming to McDonald's next week. That's just Japan getting crazy,
merging two of their biggest Titans. Their ig post shows
Hello Kitty rising from the ocean in a Godzilla style headpiece.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
That's funny.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
McDonald's hasn't revealed the full lineup yet, but apparently Mecca
Godzilla and Space Godzilla will be part of the collection.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Hello Kitty's had a recent run of crossover Happy Meals
past collabs where with Yu Gi Oh and teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles Man, Hello Kitty, you get around on it?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Yeah, Orio Lopez here, getting close to the end of
our radio fun. Just one last thing to get to
plus probably enough time to play a request or two
before I get out of here at all.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Mario on X All right, almost time to head home.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
You're a Mario Courtney Lopez's got to squeeze in one
last thing.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Labor Day right around the corner.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
All that sort of marks the h unofficial end of summer.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Which, by the way, we used to go to school
after late. Now the kids have been in school forever.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Anyway, it means you might be planning a fall getaway.
So what's on everyone's travel bucket list? Well, Airbnb is
revealing the biggest travel trends for Fall, which include short
weekend trips. We're fans of those lesser known destinations. Also
fan of that and traveling for sports and live events.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Well, fall is the season of weekending for sure. Searchers
are up for terms like fall foliage and apple picking.
I love this time of year. Also, groundhopping is taking
over as a sports and live event travel trend. It
refers to visiting as many stadium, marinas and venues as
possible to check out live event landmarks and check them
off a list.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
I'm a big fan of the three day getaway, especially
if you can piggyback it of course with holiday, right,
if it's Memorial Day or MLKA Day where you get
a day off from work, that's a smart move, right.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
That is more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
All right, that's it, Thanks so much for hanging out.
As always, if you missed anything, hitt a Balmara dot
com do relive any and all of our radio fun.
We're back to do it again tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying groundhopping
