Speaker 1 (00:00):
On with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Happy Monday and Happy Saint Patrick's Day.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Mario Lopez back behind the mine, excited to competing another
fun pop culture pop quiz against my wife Courtney a
little later. Plus, we're gonna dig into the buzz, see
what's trending, talk a bit about tonight's iHeartRadio Music Awards,
and just a few songs away from asking a Saint
Patti's Day theme random question.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
So turn it up. You're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
All Mario Lopez, Courtney step out of the studio for
a sex So turning it over a fraser who's got
a random question to ask?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
I'm asking this on her behalf. Do you have any
or carry around any lucky charms?

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I don't, but when I was in high school, during
wrestling season, I used to have a lucky blue Corvette hat.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Corvette hat, at least I thought it was. It was
a blue hat. Yeah, yeah, it was the Corvette symbol.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
And my dad got it for me and I performed
well in a tournament wearing it one time, so then
I wore it for the rest of the year, maybe
the next two years. It was wow, Corvette hat. It's
crazy that I remember that, But that was it back
in high school.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
What ended the run of wearing it? Did you lose
or something?

Speaker 5 (01:07):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
I think it got a little. I think it just
got the banged up and I got another blue hat. Okay,
so I got another blue hat. But yeah, and as
an adult, I wear my necklace with the cross. But
I don't really consider that that's all the saying. That's
that's more of a just a spiritual thing, right. The
only jeweler I really wear is my necklace with a
cross and my my wedding band.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
That's it more.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Another reminder that our twenty twenty five I heard Radio
Music Awards going down live on Fox tonight, Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Here's so many performances too.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Gottta get in the Innovator Award, Mariah receiving the Icon Award.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
L ELL's gonna be hosting.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
You can watch live on Fox or follow along with
us at on Maria dot com. Mario Lopez, here was
Saint Patrick's day. Fun fact for you, Saint Patrick wasn't
actually Irish.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I knew this.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Actually he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a teenage.
Literally he used a shamrock to explain Christianity in the
Holy Trinity. It's actually a very Catholic holiday, but a
tragic one.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Somehow we've made it into a party.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, Mario Courney Lopez. And if you're struggling in the
love department, you might want to take on some chores.
New survey says over half of us think that when
our partner does chores around the house, it's a major
turn on. I think that's some reverse psychology. Leading the
list is doing the dishes, followed by vacuuming my jam,

(02:32):
making the bed, and doing the laundry. But before people
are even dating, they're checking out how clean potential.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Partners' homes are.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
The biggest turn offs are smelly rooms and dirty bathrooms
and kitchens.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, I would have to be out of there.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Some people even admitted that they've ended a relationship before
it really started because of a dirty home. I think
that's totally valid to you can't be you don't enter
a relationship. Know when someone lives in a nasty funk. No,
I'm sorry, No, no, I agree.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Unless you yourself live in a nasty funk. They all
could be nasty together.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
Then you're funky together. But by the way, when you
do the dishes, I have to redo them. So it
just can't do that.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
It doesn't turn me out.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
More Mario Lopez on the way, Mario Courtney Lopez here
keeping all this great music coming your way as we
make a quick digital pit stop at on Mario dot
com to see what's trending.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Courtney Cox is revealing why she owes her friend's co
star Lisa Kudro a long overdue apology. Oo okay, watch
chapel Roan and Out and John joined forces for a
magical Oscars Parties duet.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yes, he has a big party or ear around.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
The Oscar and the reason Kylie Jenner disappeared during boyfriend
Timothy Shallamey's big Oscar moments. On with Mario dot Com
to find all that out and more.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
What out?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Mario Lopez here with a Saint Patrick's Day fun fact
for you. Thirteen million pints of Guinness will be sir
today and the average person will have four point two drinks.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Oh that's a lot. That's all for the average person.
Really letting loose.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Mario Courtney Lopez digging into our mentions to see what's

Speaker 6 (04:15):
This is from at Felicia Philly. And she said, now
that I've had a couple children, I started to think
kids don't know how great they have it.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Seriously, someone gives me a platter.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Of nuggets and fries, draws me a hot bath, provides
me with comfortable footy pajamas, and tells me to go
to sleep. That's the dream come true.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
It really is.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
When you're a kid, that stuff sounds like torture. Yeah, man,
you appreciate it when you get older. Good point, Felicia Philly.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
There is one person in this room who still does
command to get.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
A prepare of the bath.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Prepare the bath. That's right more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 3 (04:53):

today's birthday. Shout outs Mario Lopez. Here, Fraser's got the

Speaker 3 (05:39):

Lopez letting things get a little weird for a second
with Courtney's random thought.

What you got, honey, I'm so weird. You know, ever
since I could remember, I've just I've always wanted to
go back to bed. I literally my alarm goes off
and I think about the nighttime when I get to
get back into bed.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
This is from at Diana G twenty three. I know
that most people will judge me, but when I'm down,
meaning depressed, the only emotional support animal I need is
a rotisserie.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Chick Diana G. Twenty three. I love me a rotisserie chicken.
You know, it's interesting because when people are.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Depressed, stressed out, or are dealing with anxiety, a lot
of people feed their emotions.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Oh yeah, I'm the complete opposite.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
I don't eat when I'm stressed out or I've got
a lot of my mind or whatever. I don't have
an appetite to me. I correlate food with happiness and celebration,
which most of the time I am happy. But if
I've got a lot of my mind and whatever I
have to sometimes I just forget to eat.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
If I lose weight, Mario Lopez will be right back.

Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez. No secret. We love dogs around here.
We have three at the moment.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Fraser's got a few, but as hard as they get
older because we live so much longer than they do.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Honestly, but what if you could extend your dog's life?

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Yes, science is working on a new anti aging pill
for pups and it's getting closer to reality. Biotech company
Loyle has created a beef flavored pill designed to help
senior dogs stay healthier for longer. This one's made for
dogs ten in up, which, by the way, ten's already
a pretty good run, weighing at least fourteen pounds and

(09:45):
could boost therom metabolic health. Ball goes well, I ca
hit the market by the end of the year, so
you can live forward to more tail wags and happy years.

Speaker 6 (09:53):
I will be a guinea pig.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
You mean our dogs will be Yeah, I am my dogs.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
That uh, that would be wild because if they're able
to pull it off, then it's only a matter of
time before they're able to transition to humans.

Speaker 6 (10:08):
Well, everyone thinks you're taking something, so.
