quick stop in a Cordo's corner for a fresh life
hacker too, back to see what helpful tip she's got
for us today in ten So don't move that.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
A Mario Corney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Every week, my wife likes to hook us up with
some life hacks to make things a little bit easier
for us.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
What are we talking about this?
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Yes, easy ways to remove pet hair. We got a
lot of it. We've got three dogs. We got a
lot of it, a lot of hair. So the pet
hair can mount up sometimes, and there are a few
hacks to get rid of it easily. And they are
LATEX gloves. Throw one on your hand and drag your
hand across the couch, bed chairs, seats in your car.
(01:42):
The static electricity causes us to clump on the glove.
You may get electrocuted, but it's a smart It's a
small shot, okay, to reboost the system to pay You
can also run a dry rubber tipped squeegee across the
furniture as well. Also works on carpets and helps pull
up deeply embedded hairs.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Wow. The rubber squeegee okay, lynch rollers people.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Doesn't just work for clothing. Run that across your bed
or furniture as well. And regular grooming also helps reduce
the amount of hair already on your dog with a
good wash and combing. And also, if you don't have
any of that tape, grab tape, true some tape or
Mario Lopez connext.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Almark Cotney Lopez, keep you the music coming your way.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Right after, Cordo tells us about a few of the
new things on TV and streaming.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
The chestnut Man Hide and Seek Netflix season two premiere,
forty one year old woman is reported missing, and when
the police unravel her digital footprints, it becomes evident that
she has been stocked for months. An unidentified perpetrator has
been playing an involuntary game of hide and seek, surveiling
her while sending her not only images and videos, but
(02:48):
also a seemingly innocent nursery rhyme style counting song. It's creepy, okay,
chestnut Man, I always wanted a stalk her Legends, Netflix
season one, one, Set in the early nineteen nineties, The
series is based on a remarkable real life undercover operation
by her Majesty's Custom and Excise, facing a losing battle
(03:09):
against surging illegal drug smuggling authorities, recruit ordinary British customs offices,
not trained spies for a top secret mission.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
There's a lot going on right there.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
All right, Hey, got I know it just hits me
and the Jazzy Show Family Vacation. It's on MTV the
cast for Knights for One Last Turrab packed with fifth
pump worthy celebrations, personal growth, emotional roller coasters, and plenty
of drama. It includes baby showers, baucherette parties, gender reveals,
(03:40):
ab reveals, birthdays, weddings, and more. No tax fraud blending,
no memories with the tributes to the friendships, inside jokes
and cultural impact that defined the show.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Come a long way, all right, Marion Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Here a few more songs, and then we're going to
fire up zoom to chat with today's guests, actors Stephen
Colletti and James Lafferty from One Tree, Steven, from Lagoon
to Beach Back in the Day.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Now they've got a show together over on Netflix.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Back to get a scoop on that and more. When
Stephen and James joining.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
It's up bon Mario Lopez joining me right now on Zoom,
Actress Stephen Coletti, and James Lafferty. How you gentlemen, doing
fantastic well man for having us, nice man, Thanks for
taking the time. Congratulations your show. Everyone is doing great.
Picked up over on Netflix. Season two premieres next week.
For those who may not be familiar, what's the show about?
Speaker 6 (04:29):
I want to take that one.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, well we have if you're getting in the first season,
it's basically we loosely based it off of experiences in
our lives where it's guys coming off of a hit,
big show, like a teen drama. This one is a
vampire drama and that we play in the show and
you're meeting them years later and they are struggling to
keep their life together. Their relationships with their partners are
(04:52):
falling apart, work is not going well. They're having to
lean on each other during this time, and so they
both don't have their you know what together.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
It's a beautiful mess. And so, yeah, it's a dark.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
Comedy, a lot of fun lives, pull back the curtain
on life, a little bit of some guys working in
the industry, and yeah, I feel like people can relate
to it no matter what industry that they're in. It's
really just about friends leaning on each other and trying
to figure out life together.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Good for you, guys, because I know this was your
baby and I want to talk about it. You got
the show off the ground, but we got to take
a quick break. Hang tight, We're going to come back
some more.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
More fun on the way on with Mario.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Lopez getting back to Steven Colletti and James Lafferty from Netflix.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
As everyone's doing great Mario Lopez here, and as I.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Was saying a bit ago, the show was it was
pretty much your baby, right. You crowdfunded the first season
and people were digging it. Now it's headed to Netflix.
What a great feeling, am I?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Am?
Speaker 3 (05:42):
I getting that right?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (05:43):
Yeah, I mean it has been a journey. It's like
a fully independent TV show. There's no you know, major
money behind this or studio behind this or anything. So
you know, it has been a labor of love and
it's been the reason that we like get up out
of bed, you know in the morning for the past
like six seventy years, and it's been incredibly rewarding creatively.
But like to have it get here to get it
(06:06):
on the biggest stage on Netflix. Is honestly, it's like
a dream come true. We could not have asked for
anything more.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Nice, man.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, that's the thing nowadays you can sort of take
charge of your own career and there's no more sort
of excuses of all the different platforms, YouTube and what
have You can make stuff happen for yourself.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
So I like that. All right.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Lots more to talk about more with Steven and James
coming up, but first more music on Mario Lopez catching
up with actor Stephen Colletti and James Lafferty and Steven,
I know you just had the reunion recently from Laguna
Beach twenty years bro damn ken believe that flew by
right there. Remember when I first came out. How was
it reuniting with one Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Man, it was good.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
I felt like it was the right time to do it.
You know, everyone had so far moved on with their lives.
I've moved so far from that time, and that was
like the best way we can do it, you know.
I think having everyone come together and be able to
speak about what happened in high school because all the
stuff that was on the show was like based off
of real things that happened.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
We needed that time.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
To pass and for it to be something that we
can all get together and laugh at and kind of
rip each other about. And that's what it was, and
it really was a celebration of that, and so we
had a lot of fun doing it.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Good man, good All right, hang tight, a little more music.
We're gonna come back with the boys.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Maria Lopez there chatting with actors Stephen Colletti and James
Lafferty this hour their show. Everyone is doing great headed
in Netflix for season two and James, you also have
another project called Once Upon a Time in Texas a Western.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
I love me a Western. What can you tell me
about this?
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (07:40):
You know that one?
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Is?
Speaker 5 (07:43):
That one is?
Speaker 1 (07:44):
So?
Speaker 3 (07:44):
That is a re release.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
I think it's a director's cut of a film that
I did a long time ago. Actually, Rob Buckley, do
you remember when we went out? Yeah, this was like
I played Cowboys in Texas. This is that was a
long time ago. But yeah, I guess started doing a
director's cut re release of it, which would be interesting
to see. Yeah, I have not seen the director's cut. Tanner,
the director is a good friend of mine and I'm
(08:05):
very very excited for him, and I'm excited to turn
back the wheels of time and just go back to
that experience again.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
All right, one more thing I want to ask quick break,
and we're going to come back and wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
You're the full interview now on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Rapping up with Stephen Colleti and James Lafferty from Netflix's
Everyone Is Doing Great.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
You're on with Mario Lopez. And before you go, James,
you just announced you had your first baby.
Speaker 6 (08:29):
Right yeah, yeah, so our yeah, our mind and Alex
our first baby, River is five months old yesterday. So
so yeah, doing this interview on, I'm zero sleep, yeah,
and still functioning somehow. But yeah, man, it's a lot
to be grateful for.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Congratulations. Congratulations.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, get get used to those sleepless nights, brother, but
it's all worth it later on, It's all worth it. Well,
congratulations guys on the show and listen to everyone. Be
sure to check out their show Everyone is Doing Great,
which is now streaming on Netflix.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
So check it out and thanks for checking in, guys.
I appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Er all right, take care, Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez then
you know that iHeartRadio wants you to see Zach Brown
Band live on their Love and Fear Tour in Chicago
(09:28):
on November twenty first.

VIP package. Just tap the contest tab when you're listening
to us on the free iHeartRadio app to enter, or
you can get your tickets now at Zach brownband dot com.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Omorow.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Courtney Lopez wasting no time getting right to a random question.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
What you got honey? Okay?
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Would you rather live without a cell phone or heating
and air conditioning? Oh?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Well, the thing is, I hesitate because you know, I'm
not a big computer guy. Usually use my cell phone
as I would a computer, right, So I do my
business and everything on there.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
However without ac in heat. Oh that's tough.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
But we do live in southern California, so we can
get away with that a lot more. If I was
living in like South Texas, there's no way I'd have
to go ac in heating.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
So, yeah, that's true. I'm gonna have to keep the phone.
I'm gonna have to keep the phone or Mario Lopez
next might want to.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Set a reminder to check out SNL this weekend Mario
and Courtney Lopez here, Matt Damon set to host, and
Noah khn set to take the stage as a musical guest.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Ooh, that's fun. I'm a big Noah kan fan.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Okay, well you can check it out then Saturday night
on NBC and Peacock.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Oh, Mario, Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Not a lot of celebt birthdays today, oddly enough, so
we're gonna skip those. But I'm sure there's an obscure
holiday to celebrate. What'd you find, honey?
Speaker 4 (10:48):
It is a National Password Day. Shout out to all
the passwords you make and can't remember.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
That's why I tried to keep consistent with the same one.
But sometimes you'll do the same one. For example, let's
say your password is Lopez, but then you have to
change it because it needs so then it's like Lopez.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
One or Lopez one exclamation mark or.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
At Lopez, and then you can't remember it was you
forget the ad act or the exclamation point, you got
the low pez when you're all screwed up with the
other ones.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Yeah, and then when I get the notifications that it's
been compromised, yes, and it tells me to change it.
I don't because I'm like, you know what, it's compromised.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
We suggest you do this.
Speaker 7 (11:26):
It was leaked in a data leak and you're like, yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
I'll take my chances.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Well, no doubt. We're all trying to find ways to
save money these days.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Your own more own Courtney Lopez Well BuzzFeed shared some
good old fashioned frugal habits we can still practice today,
Like what honey.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Well fix things instead of replacing. So it's even easier
today because of YouTube videos. If you don't know how
to fix something, you just type it in and you
can figure it out. It's true turning the lights off
when you leave the room you give your parents. I mean,
I know we teach our kids this, but they still
don't do it. I don't understand.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Tell them all. I'll like, half my job as a
dad is walking around every room and turning the lights off.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yes, that's all I do.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
And for some reason, my daughter, it doesn't matter how
hot it is outside and could be August, she loves
to park right in front of the fireplace. You can
turn it on and be on the computer like, gee,
it's a thousand degrees outside.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
That I'm cold. I don't know. You're not you just
I don't know what she's like melting. She's like chicken.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Make a meal that lasts beyond one day, leftovers, make
a great lunch.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
That's me, you know, that's that is you.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
And this is also what I do when I get
something Postmate. If I'm going to spend the money to Postmate,
I add on to it.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
I get more, I get more meals.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Out of it.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
The next day, I didn't post.
Speaker 7 (12:42):
Make exactly one delivery fee, essentially multiple meals.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Smart, I'm saving money.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
And if you go to certain places, you get big
meals and those can become multiple meals exactly.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Go back to gardening and canning. Fresh vegetables are so
much better than frozen anything.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Do they taste a huge? That's just a lot.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
I don't have agreed from and it's I. They would die.
Replace fast food with picnics on road trips. It's a
lot more fun than a drive through.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Agree with that, and healthier and healthier more.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Mario Courtney Lopez here, letting you know that we've got
your chance to see Celine Dion in Paris.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Take me well, we're gonna fly you in a friend
of Paris.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
We're gonna hook you up with reserve premium seats to
see your show, and best of all, you'll even get
to meet Selene before the show, all thanks to AEG Presents.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Do you want to get signed up?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I do.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Just listen to us on the iHeartRadio app, tap the
contest tab and enter to win another exclusive experience from iHeartRadio.
And on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
All right at al Mario Lopez on Instagram, at all
Mario on Facebook and asks just a few of the
many ways to get a note to us. Mario and
Courtney Lopez Here, we love hearing from you. A little
more music and we're gonna dig ino our mentions. See
what you've sent our way.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
In the meantime, you got a song you want to hear,
just let us know and hang on. We'll back to
see what's on your mind next.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Got all of Mario on Facebook, an ex at al
and Maorio Lopez on ig Mario and Courtney Lopez Here,
we love hearing from you. Questions, comments, you got a
joke or random thought, whatever you got.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Who's this from?
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Honey?
Speaker 4 (14:19):
This is from at the Cat Whisper And they said
I'm never more happy. Oh he doesn't whisper, he's the King.
I'm just kidding. He said, I'm never more happy to
be poor and unknown than when I see these people
dressed up for the met Gala.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
The met Gala is essentially Halloween for rich people.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Yeah, and it was ironic that Sarah Poulsen wore an
outfit with a dollar on her face, opposing the one percent.
She didn't find the irony though, that the met kaylet
caters nothing but the one percent.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
Yeah, I'm not in the one percent.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
I didn't get an invite. Here's the thing. It was
dramatically under attended, really a lot of people.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
Yeah, because oh, is this because of the the Bezos part?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Maybe that was a factor, but I think just in general,
I think it's starting to kind of wear on people.
And you know that's true, and the economy being what
it is, because it is for a charity to help
the arts and stuff.
Speaker 7 (15:16):
Right, and they're spending all this money on like dresses,
and so you could be helping people.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, ironic.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Wow, Courtney Lopez. Her music rolls on after some quick food.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Buzz as we get ready for America's two hundred and
fiftieth birthday celebration the birthday summer. Listen, if you think
about it, we're a baby. Two hundred and fifty years
old is nothing. When we were in Europe, remember, people.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Were like, oh, this church has been here for eight
hundred years. Yeah, it's crazy have such a baby.
Speaker 7 (15:47):
I have a buddy who lives in the UK. His parents,
he grew up in this house. His parents still live
in this house, and the house is like four hundred
years old, older than our country, a lot older. Crazy,
haven't had our terrible threes yet.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
We started Cheerios.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
The cereal people will release a birthday cake flavored cereal
in a red, white and blue box in early summer.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Coca Cola is going.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
To have special mini cans with a design for each state,
like Georgia's Peach to California's Surfers.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Very cool.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
A Mountain Dew is actually going to be renamed as
American do Well.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
I'm surprised it wasn't that originally it should have been.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
Yeah. And Oreo has a firecracker pop cookie. It's a
collab between Oreo and Popsicle with blue, raspberry, lemon and
cherry flavored cream sandwich between two cookies, oriole looks.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Like the first cookie ever made. They're always messing with it,
but I gotta say the og is always.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Yeah, they're always putting different flavors inside.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
Texture feels like the first cookie ever made as well.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
It does like it does and fifty years ago. Yeah,
all right, back.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
To the music, Orio Lopez. Here are getting close to
the end of our radio fun. Just one last thing
to get two plus probably.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Enough time to play a request or two before I
get out of here. So if you got a song
you want to hear, hit me up at all on
Mario on X y'all, Marril Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Almost time to pass the mike, but not before we
squeeze in one last thing. A TikToker has started a
campaign to buy and revive Spirit Airlines after it.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Shut down for good over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Ideas already raised millions can Spirit Hunter Peterson, content creator
and voice actor, posted a TikTok proposing the plan to
use crowdfunding to purchase and quote nationalize the carrier. He
launched Let's Buy Spirit air dot com, which lets people
pledge to buy a share at a minimum of forty
five dollars. So far, one hundred and thirty two million
(17:32):
has been pledged.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Wow. Wow, that is crazy, Hunter Peterson, good for you.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
How much does he want to raise or how much
does he need to raise?
Speaker 3 (17:41):
I don't know what an airline is going for.
Speaker 7 (17:42):
These are billions in debt, so it's gonna I mean
it's gonna be auctioned.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Off, right, Can you can you parlay that money into
something else? I think he should. Yeah, you need to.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
We'll be right back to Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
All right, that's it. Thanks. He was always for hanging
with us.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Also thanks to Stephen Colletti and James Lafferty was zooming
in quick reminder to hit a balmya dot com to
relive all of our radio fund including my full chat
with them.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
We are back to do it again tomorrow. Until then,
this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night
Speaker 1 (18:11):
With Mario Lopez
