Honey, a teenager born with a congenital kidney condition, is
getting a new lease on life thanks to a stranger.
Elias Menolas had long managed his condition, but by age thirteen,
his health began to rapidly decline as his kidney function
dropped to just seventeen percent. Of breaks my heart everyday
activities became exhausting. With no match found within the family,
(01:02):
the Manola's family turned to their community, sharing a public
plea and hopes of finding a donor. Well. Tim Fitzpatrick,
who also has a son with health issues, he volunteered
and sure enough he was a match. So on March
twenty third, he donated his kidney to Elias. When the
families met, they were amazed to find out that they
(01:24):
just lived ten minutes from each other.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
This is like a movie, and you really think about
how incredibly selfless that is. It wasn't even a family
member or friend, the stranger just to help them, and
think about what you have to go through. You can
take out your you're going through a big procedure surgically,
you're giving it to someone to saving the life. But
then you know, now you're in a sense putting yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
But you're down a kidney.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
You're down a kidney.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
So if you have kidney issues later on.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Exactly that's my point. So wow, what a that's a
beautiful story.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
There are angels on Earth yep more.
Speaker 2 (01:57):

in a double life.

Baliah Uncover the Man behind the Legend. In this unfiltered
documentary featuring his last interview, I still can't believe he's
not with us anymore.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yeah, it's weird. I have that same sort of mental
block about it.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yeah, I'm gonna be watching his.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Brother and the new documentary Laney Wilson Keeping Country Cool
that hits Netflix. So watch that.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
I like Laney. I've got the interview a few times.
We've done a little two steps together. She's cool. A
few more songs. They're gonna take up a fresh case
in Cordo's Court. You're all Mario Courtney Lopez. By the way,

a friend or family member, or you just need some
good old fashioned advice, slide into our DMS over on ig.
Speaker 3 (03:32):

Coordo Lopez. It is time for Cordo's Court. Today's case

suddenly my teenage daughter has begun calling me bra. I

yeah here?
Speaker 4 (04:07):
He's just picking it up from the old you picks
it up.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Here's what I do. I ignore them. I don't acknowledge it.
If they ask me for something good, I turn away.
It's not my name. It's not my name.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
That's good. That's good. You don't acknowledge that's good. It
is funny when our six year old.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Does it this last night, he did that to you.

Congrat Season two we're hit Apple TV mystery thriller The
Last Thing You Told Me is airing now. It's with
Jennifer Garner. For people who may not be familiar with
the premise, what's it about?
Speaker 5 (05:34):
It is based on the.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
Book of the same title, Club Last Thing You Told
Me by Laura Dave. It's about a woman whose husband
sort of disappears into thin air, and she and her
stepdaughter have to kind of figure out where he is
and why he disappeared. Season two gets more into trying
to make sure once he has found that he won't
(05:56):
be hunted down again and trying to thwart the people
looking for I hope Laura Dave, the author would not
be mad with how I just described it, But that's
my interpretation of season two.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
No, I get it, and you play Quinn, who's the
daughter of the crime boss.
Speaker 6 (06:11):
Right, I am the daughter of the man looking for Owen?
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yes, got it? Got all right, Judy Hanktach quick break.
We're going to come back with some more.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Getting back to actors, Judy Greer, who's hanging out this hour.
Mario Lopez here and Judy you we've been talking about
Apple TV. Is the last thing you told me. But
of course you've acted in all kinds of different types
shows and movies, but a lot of people know you
for your comedic stuff. Does it do you have more
just more fun? Do you prefer the drama just as
a break and stuff? But because comedy is hard.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
Yes, and you would know it's harder than people.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Think, right, it really is. It really is.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Having so much fun.
Speaker 6 (06:49):
But there's a lot of intricacies to timing and all
of that stuff. I mean, some of it does land
on an editor, thank god. But I don't know. I
always have a ton of fun being I mean, being
in a drama.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Isn't always fun, but when you're playing a.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
Bad guy, it's usually brave un And I would say
that Quinn. She sort of teeters between having really good
intentions and being a little bit sneaky.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
That sounds like a fun character right there.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
Yeah, it's especially fun working with Jennifer Garner and and
like we always joke about how we never get to
play friends in anything, and so here we are again
kind of butting heads.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Well, Judy Greer is with us. We got more with
her coming up, but first, more music all Maria Lopez
catching up with the whole area is Judy Greer this
hour Busier than Ever. Season two of The Last Thing
You Told Me is now streaming on Apple TV Plus.
Just talked about the film you did and this summer
you got another one right called The Five Star Weekend.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and that one also, I am kind
of coming in and I'm like thwarting the five Stars
on this weekend. I'm also sort of like messing things up.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Oh fine, fun, Yeah, actors, Judy Greer hanging out on Zoom.
You're all on, Mario Lopez and Judy. Tell me about
this dark comedy I know it just premiered it south
By Southwest a few weeks back. Chili Finger. Yeah, that's
a fun title. That's a fun tyt of cool casto.
You got John Goodman Brian Cranston Sean Aston, and that
is that based on true events?
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Yes, it is loosely based on something that actually did happen,
where a woman put a severed finger in a bowl
of chili at a restaurant and.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
Tried to extort money from them.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Oh wow.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Yeah, but the writer directors, they took that idea and
kind of ran with it.
Speaker 6 (08:36):
And I play the woman who does this, and she's
trying to get money because she wants to visit her daughter.
She's become an empty nester and she wants to visit
her daughter in college, and she's kind of losing her mind,
missing her and wondering, like you know that existential moment
when you're like, what is it all about? Some people
(08:56):
take yoga, other people put severed fingers in Philly and
try to get money.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
I mean, we're all different.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
You know, No, right, I don't judge. Uh, I think
I remember this what like what year was this?
Speaker 5 (09:10):
I don't remember exactly. I want to say, maybe pandemic, pandemic.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
I think it was like within the last ten years.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah, And then is this how do you get caught?
And how are you just running around with something?
Speaker 5 (09:22):
You're in the movie I don't want to spoil it.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Okay, we'll have to see it. Then we'll have to
see it. See it all right, One more thing I
want to ask quick break, I'm gonna come back and
wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
You're the full interview now on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Wrapping up with Judy Greer, who's been hanging out on Zoom.
Mario Lopez here and Judy. Before you go, I want
to ask you about your show Stick with Owen Wilson
just got renewed to I show.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
That Owen Wilson is in. You said it that way.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yes, that's exactly how I'm pitching for now. That's what
we're an apple as well.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
You might just stick that.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
I've let Owen Wilson be a part of.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
The one that you allow oh And to visit once
in a while. And I fun have you guys started
shooting that yet?
Speaker 5 (10:03):
We just wrapped season two two weeks ago.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Nice, anything you could tease us with the upcoming season
or it remains under wraps.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
No, I'm not teasing anything.
Speaker 6 (10:13):
I love this season a lot because we get to
see Owen's character.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
On the golf course.
Speaker 6 (10:20):
More and golfing on the golf course, I should say,
which I think is really really exciting. I think we
all wanted that in season one. We wanted to see
Price K. Hill be Price k Hill the golfer, and
so I hope I'm not going to get in trouble
for saying that, but that's what I really enjoyed.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
I was outside a lot this season.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Do you play?
Speaker 6 (10:44):
I'm his ex wife, but we have stayed very close.
Our relationship is now like of good friends.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
So I like it.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
I like that I don't have to fight with Owen
will Gotten.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Do you play golf by chance? Or no?
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Do I play? No?
Speaker 2 (11:01):
No?
Speaker 5 (11:01):
But I was craving at free golf clubs, but they
were on to me, on to you.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I get it, I get it. Who's got time for that?
Speaker 5 (11:07):
What scenes do you play in the What scenes are
you golfing in the show? So we can make sure
to get you in the right club.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
There you go, take advantage of that.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
Yeah, try it, okay, but I'm not a liar. I
couldn't lie about it.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
I'm too midwestern and nice trin actress weekend be nothing?
Oh I know, no, all good thank you so much
for your time, and listen, everyone, be sure to check

to celebrate some April twenty second birthdays.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
In the meantime, any obscure holiday is too recognized, honey.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Well, of course, today's Earth Day, yes, but it's also
more importantly National jelly Bean Day.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
We discussed this last year on National jelly Bean Day.
We're not necessarily big fans of jelly beans, but however,
I am impressed with the multitude of flavors that can
make into jelly beans. It is quite impressive.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
I do not waste calories on jelly beans.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Good point. All right, celebrit Days coming up first, Let's
get back to me, all right. Time for today's celebriateth Day.
Shout out here on Mario Courtney Lopez is always Fraser's

guess the age machine gun. Oh sorry, actually, MGK, mgk, MGK,
My guy's got to be thirty six.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Thirty six is correct?
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Oh look at that big MGK guy.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Yeah from the Danish Girls. She was once with Johnny
Depp that ended very badly.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Amber heard, I heard she's turning forty.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
This forty's correct? I ever heard fan over there?
Speaker 1 (13:00):

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh wow, we're cool. Almo's gone along.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Yeah, more Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez. Another questionable social media trend going viral.
Have you heard of egg coffee? The usual source of
caffeine is whipping up a buzz across social media. Egg
coffee is made by blending egg yolks with sugar and
condensed milk, and when you mix some, you're pour it
on top of strong coffee. The result is a sweet,
fluffy drink that tastes like a dessert. I'm actually not
(13:42):
completely mad at this, you are. I think I'm open
to trying it. I bet you it is not as
bad as you think it is. A lot of piano
are saying it tastes like marshmallow. Other people like you
were skeptical about mixing egg into coffee. They're not fully cooked.
So there's concern about salmonella. Well that isn't concern because
I've had salmonella poisoning. That's one of the worst things
(14:04):
that's ever happened in my life. I've actually had it
a couple of times. I think I'd rather break.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
An arm then go through that again.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
So try it at your own resk people, or don't.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Well, Mario Lopez, We'll be right.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Here in the meantime, slide those requests into our DMS
on X and Facebook at on with Mario.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez. Almost time to head out
for the NYE. But now before we get to one
last thing. A wild stat I ran across recently that
only about eighteen percent of Americans know how to drive
a manual transition, in other words, a stick shift YEP.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
I am not part of that eighteen percent.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Oh well, here's the thing I happen to have learned
on a stick shift. My dad taught both me and
my sister. Completely ruined his truckt transmission works learning. But
I learned, and once you learn, you never forget. And
if you were to get a stick shift now it's
anti theft because somebody tries to break in and steal it.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
They don't know how to here in America, they're not
going anywhere.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
That's wild to think that eighty two percent of the
people do not know how to drive. That is crazy.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
That's what you The point you just made is a
great point. But also I don't want to have to
do anything more while I'm driving besides paying attention and
watching where I go. I already have three kids in
the car that are asking me for stuff they don't
need and things that they can do on their own.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yes, but I don't have to.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
But I did tell you remember the one time I
had my water bottle there and I was by myself
in the car, and I pretended.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
I don't know if it was accurate, though, See, I
don't know, I don't know. Here's the thing too.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
I learned like on an old truck where you really
had to put it to the site to get you
Your reverse was way over here. I can drive, well,
I can drive anything. No, but why do all that, Mike, Well,
a lot of.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Cars, actually cars were sticking. You would buy the manual.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yes, some emergency. It's really good to know, and I
think every man should know a little bit.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
My dad taught me when I was I was like twelve.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
I think, yeah, you're going to teach our boys.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Yes, if I have a stick shift, I'm gonna have
to have a stick shift.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
You're dead. Wait, isn't your Mustang one?
Speaker 2 (18:05):
My Mustang is yeah, my mind still have my nineteen
ninety for cobruh.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
I don't know if should teach your boys with that.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
No, it's got low. Well it's fast, that's true. Yeah,
it's fat, but also.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
It's disgusting inside with all the.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Oh God, Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Big thanks to Judy Greer for zooming in almar dot
