Well, he says it helps with brain health as well,
so maybe I should get on that bandwagon. And she
also recommends one square piece of chocolate or one ounce
of it per day. The best kind is anything with
seventy percent or more coco and less than eight grams
of sugar. That's what's best for you, says the doc.

One thing I've been missing is my dark chocolate.

Speaker 4 (01:22):

Speaker 2 (02:02):
You know all cult leaders are polygamous. I guess if
you're going to be a cult leader, you want to
tip any.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Wise as possible.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Read the Love.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Even if it doesn't start that way, it always ends
that way, does end up that way?

Speaker 5 (02:14):
It does.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
The Testaments is a series premiere on Hulu, set roughly
three to five years after the end of The Handmaid's
Tale series, unlike the book, which jumps ahead fifteen years,
focusing on teenage characters in a slightly less graphically grim
but unsettling tone.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Yeah, that was a really dark show.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
And the young lady on one battle after another Infinity

my parents. I know that people are can become more
stubborn as a get older, but it's trying to feel
like mom is just being defiant.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
To be defiant.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I try to get her to go to the doctor
because I'm worried about her health, and she says I'm
nagging her. I even told her I stop by and
take her to lunch one day, and she ghosted me.
Any thoughts on how to deal with a rebelling parent?

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Oh wow, Well, you know, unfortunately, I don't think that
there's anything wrong with her in that sense. That's just
her generation and parents are going to do that. You
now have become the parent, and now she's a child.
It's a full circle, that's all right.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Right, Roles reverse at a certain point in life.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
But I wouldn't stop doing what you're doing, because God forbid,
something does need to be checked out. It's better to
be safe than sorry. You got to stay on it
because if you don't, then you'll kick yourself and regret
that you didn't, and you know what good for her

How was it being back on side?

Speaker 6 (05:34):
Oh my gosh, it was. It was incredible. It was
almost like time like stood still. We just jumped right
back into it. Yeah, because Brian had Brian had been
talking about this about the last ten years. So Bridan
I would always get lunched together like over run our birthdays,
and like ten years ago he brought it up. He's like,
you know, he's like, I want to get I want
to get limited bollved, Like I really want to do

(05:56):
a little like a little revival, just like a little
bit like even like a like a film, just like.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Get the crew back together.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
Yeah, And so ten years I've been hearing about this thing,
and I'm like, Okay, yeah, I'm in. I'm in if
you like, if you.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Get a going.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
And then sure enough, like a couple of years later,
he's like, what's finally in. He's like he had said
no for five years straight and finally he said that.
He's like, I got it. I have like I have
the angle into back into the show and back into
this world.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I'm super excited.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Well, Allimria dot com for a preview and hang tight
more with Malcolm in the Middle of Justin Burfield coming out.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
More Fun on the Way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Getting back to Malcolm in the Middle of Justin Burfield.
Who's hanging out on Zoom this hour? Mario Lopez here
before the break, we were talking about Brian Cranston. Now,
when you first saw him on Breaking Bad? Did you
trip out, like, Yo, this dude's crazy. How's he pulling
this off?

Speaker 5 (06:46):
On the heels of.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
You know, I actually watched Breaking Bad. Probably I've always like,
I'm always like five years delayed watching shows, So I
actually watched it, like well, after the run had ended,
I was like, I gotta hear what the hype is
all about like with Brian, because I knew he was
super talented.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
He was like the entire run of.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
The Malcolm series, he was like always underrated.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
I felt like he seems hilarious.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Yeah, and he's funny.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
He's just insane.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
He's funny. I had range for everything, right, I didn't
know he had that in him. I was like, damn,
all right.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
Yeah, So I watched the show and I was like
one of those freaks that binged the show in like
one night. I think. I think it went through like
two seasons a night for like a week straight, and
I was just like, I had no sleep. I was like,
my eyes are bloodshot, I dark circles.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
In my eyes.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
But I could.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
I couldn't stop watching it. But he's incredible. Brian is
Brian's the man.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Yeah, and he's super cool too. Justin Burfield is whether
us we I'm more with him coming out first. He's
Almar Lopez getting the scoop on who lose New Malcolm
in the Middle mini series from actor Justin Burfield.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
To plays Ree.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
So as far as the show, what's going on in
the series twenty years after the original ended?

Speaker 6 (07:56):
Yeah, so it literally picks up twenty years from where
the show wraps. So at that time, Malcolm was going
up to college, Reese was doing whatever he was doing.
Alan Lowis had a surprise pregnancy.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
There was a positive pregnancy test at the end.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
So now we pick up just for that, just for
that ended, But twenty years later, it's hallam MOS's fortieth
wedding anniversary.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
So they're getting the family.

Speaker 6 (08:22):
Back together, they're getting old friends back together. So I
think if you're a fan of the show and you like,
you'll recognize a lot of the characters at this party.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
That's cool, all right, Justin Hank Tyck, one more thing
I want to ask quick break, we're gonna come back
and wrap it up, wrapping up with Malcolm in the
middle of Justin Burfield. Mario Lopez, you've been getting the
scoop on his new Malcolm mini series on Hulu. And
now Eric Prisulivan, who played your youngest brother Dewey on
the on the show, he's not back, correct.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
No, So Eric, he's just he's a good guy. He's
he's he's beyond acting. He's like he's going to college.
He's he's happy, he's being out of that world. So
we recast with an acting named Caleb, and he crush
He crushes it. I honestly think he has some of
the funniest some of some of the funniest dialogue. So like,

(09:11):
when people watch the show, they'll kind of get the
world because his his characters always over zoom.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
So but once you watch the show, you'll get why
that is. But he's he's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
He crushed it.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
He looks he looks just like Doey.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
We we love Eric, we wish he we want him
to join us, but we respect him. But Caleb, Caleb
did a great job. I don't think people are really
gonna notice. Okay, he looks he looks just like Doing.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
He looks just like Doing nice man Nice. So that's
gonna be fun for everyone to uh to check out.
Congratulations on that and listen, everyone be sure to check
out Malcolm in the Middle Life's Still Unfair on Hulu.
Looks really funny. Justin thanks for checking in, Thanks for
all right, buddy, take care.

Any obscure holidays to celebrate Honey it is national and
Banada Day.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Ooh, I love me some banadas and an impanada in
case you're not familiar, is pretty much a well four Mexico,
but in all Latin countries. It's kind of like a
little turnover with different You can put meat, you put potatoes,
you can put a bunch of different stuff in there,
and they're really really tasty. I have done right deep fried. No,
they're not deep. They're kind of like they're kind of

(10:57):
like baked.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
It's a thicker read. It's a quicker cross.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Ry, summer thinner. You can make them bigger, you can
make them smaller. Canna get thinner, but you get really
good ones. And you can put essentially anything in there,
but they're tasty, you can get them. They're more like appetizers.
Amaro Courtney Lopez. Time to celebrate some April eighth birthdays.
Frasier's got the list. We're gonna guess the ages. What
we got from Friday Night Lights. Battleship, that Mars movie

(11:23):
that tanked for Disney years ago. Taylor Kitch.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Taylor Kitch.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
He was in True Detective season two.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
Yeah, he was.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Try I really like American Primeval. That was a great show.
One of my favorites. Taylor Kitch has got to be
forty eight, fifty, forty five, forty five. David Arquette's sister,
Patricia Arquette. Also, she was in Medium and she's won
a bunch of awards. She's a great actress. Patricia is sixty.

(11:51):
Tricia's fifty eight fifty eight correct. Ooh, look at that
from House of Cars. Robin Wright. Also Jenny from Forrestcump,
major villain, major villain. I'm gonna say, Robin Wright, who
I really like? She's right about fifty nine.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
I don't think you're right. I think she's sixty two sixty.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Julian Lennon, John Lennon's son. Oh wow, Julian Lennon is
fifty fifty three sixty three. Wow, finally from the Dukes
of Hazzard, John Schneider. John Schneider has got to be
coming in in sixty seven.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
No clue, but I'll say seventy sixty six.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Oh it's close, Okay.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I'mar Courtney Lopez. Time to put the spotlight on someone
trying to do.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
Some good in the world.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Who are we honoring with our coveted good Deed Lopezi
Award this week?

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Honey Students, teachers and staff at an elementary school in
New Hampshire. They have all come together to support a
deaf first grader who's been feeling isolated at school. The
Boys Age Cheryl says that as the only deaf sty
in the district, seven year old Ben O'Reilly had limited
ways to communicate and initially struggled to connect with classmates

(13:07):
and teachers. Then a few classmates started learning basic sign
language to communicate with Ben, saying it was fun to
play and talk with him. That's amazing. Soon the entire
class joined in and overtime it spread throughout the school.
Cheryl says, it's amazing. To watch his world open up
through communication. And you know what, good for those other
kids for learning sign language and now they have that

(13:31):
skill for the rest of their life.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
This is a beautiful story and I love to hear this.
I'm I was not aware that children who are hard
of hearing or death go to regular schools. I didn't.
I just assumed they would have like certain schools like part.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I think now they actually do just go to regular schools,
and typically they have like a special like a teacher's
aide or something that will help and do that. But
my grandparents were deaf, and when my grandmother was born,
she was essentially sent off to a school for the
majority of our childhood and that's where she learned sign
language every and met my grandfather. Well, that's what I'm saying, Like,

(14:07):
I can imagine it's still struggle for him because you know,
teachers are not copying, you know, like you know, and
you can't read lips or if you can't, That's what
I'm saying. So I mean, but but God bless him.
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Moor Mario Lopez coming.

to another round.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Of the slang game. Quarto and I trying to figure
out slang from words from different regions or periods of time.
All right, what is the theme today? The theme today
is actually time. It's alternative words for time from any era.
Well the Yeah, these are just words that mean different
periods or amounts of time. It makes sense. Fortnite Fortnite

(15:15):
fortnite is six months incorrect Courtney forty nights incorrect. Two weeks,
two weeks A Fortnite is two weeks. It was used
a lot in the eighteen hundreds. I wonder if it's
used in the video game. I'm sure if not missed.
Opportunity sin night scn night. That's a month incorrect, recording

(15:41):
one night incorrect, one week, one week, millennium, Mario, thousand
years that is correct. One to zero circadian rhythm, No,
it doesn't finished a sentence. Two hundred years incorrect. M

(16:03):
one years, twenty four hour cycle. Oh circadian, yeah, I
thought it was one hundred century, but that's why I
just okay, what's a circadian rhythm? That's your twenty four
hour like? Yes, rhythm of your body is all that century.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Right?

Speaker 2 (16:17):
One hundred years, hundred years is correct. Two to zero overmorrow, overmorrow,
over one hundred years incorrect. I think the confidence one
night incorrect. Day after tomorrow You're close, and finally, air yesterday,
Air yesterday, all right, today incorrect? The past more specific

(16:47):

Speaker 5 (17:31):
It's every Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for one last thing.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
I don't think we got to this a while back.
It ended a while ago, but missus Lopez and I
really enjoyed the first season of Love Story, Yes, focusing
on JFK Junior and Carolyn Bassett. What a tragic romance
was that it's on Hulu, it's on Fax, you can
watch on a few different platforms, and it was really
fun and romantic and nostalgic when the music was great

(17:57):
the first six episodes, but the last two was really sad,
really depressing. And the sad thing was it didn't really
have to happen JFK. It was one hundred percent of his fault.
He just he shouldn't have been piloting at night, and
there was a lot of error and tragic he died
his wife and her sister. And I bring it up

(18:17):
because it was really well done. We love the actors
in it, and I'm thinking, who should be the next
couple that they focus on as far as love story,
you know, I think, and I'd love for them to
see them do love no pun intended, No pun intended.
Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham. Oh, Matt, well, you know
what that was already in a way done with that
show with Elvis's granddaughter. Yeah, in a way. Ryan Murphy,

(18:40):
he was based so Fleetwood Mac one of the greatest
bands of all time American bands. They were actually British
and they came over here and they had lost their
lead singer and the guitarist and they saw Lindsay playing.
Nick Fleetood saw Lindsay playing in a bar here in
la and invited him to join the band. Wanted him
to join the band. He goes, I'll only join it
if you bring my girlfriend Stevie. There were a couple

(19:02):
before so they brought into the band and she ended
up being the breakout star and all that. But the
crazy thing about it is one of the most successful
albums was Rumors and they both and they broke up
while they were in the band, but they stayed together
as the band as the band, and it was the
best breakup songs ever because he wrote first he wrote
your you can go your wrong way like your own way.

(19:22):
Then Secondhand News, also about his perspective. Then she wrote Dreams,
which was awesome, and Silver Springs, which is awesome, two
great classic songs all about their each perspectives, about each
other's relationships. You know, when they performed it live, they
were basically talking to each other singing to it. Yeah,

(19:42):
you'll never get away from the sound of a woman
that loves you. The way she sees it is like
she's looking right at him. Meanwhile he's married someone else.
You've watched old concert footage. It gets both of them.
It's great. And I was like, what a great fun
love story. And Sally be awesome like that. One show
was like loosely based on it, but if you were
to like really focused on it, that would be crazy.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Wold, that'd be great.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Just the music, Yeah, and all that would be awesome
when we've been on at Lopez.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
That's it big.

Speaker 2 (20:12):

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
