Speaker 1 (00:27):
Olan.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Mario Lopez wasting no time getting right to a random question.
All right, what you got Frasier?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
What is something that you spend money on that you
know is a complete waste, but you'll never stop.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
You know, I'm pretty proud to say I'm not a big.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
You're not very wasteful.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I'm not very wasteful with my money, I or even
with anything. Yeah, I respect the very further. I'm really
trying to kind of rack my bran. I mean, I
guess I get a big old mantee Starbucks that I
could get it home. Yeah, and that up. I literally
get one every day, So I guess that adds up.
But that's because you could do it at home. So yeah, yeah,

(01:05):
that's a little treat to myself. But that's about That's
about it, to be honest.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah, I can't think of anything else.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I can't think of I can't think of really anything else.
I'm not a big jewelry guy or car guy or
clothes guy or stuff like that. So you know, I
guess the Starbucks, drenths and cocktails don't count because when
you're out, you got to have a good soign you
got to treat yourself once in a while.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Mario Lopez coming up, Wow, Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Here.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Music rolls on after some quick food buzz as we
get ready for America's two hundred and fiftieth birthday celebration
this day summer. Listen, if you think about it, we're
a baby. Two hundred and fifty years old is nothing.
When we were in Europe, remember, people were like, oh,
this church has been here for eight hundred years. Yeah,
it's crazy we have such a baby.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I have a buddy who lives in the UK. His parents,
he grew up in this house. His parents still live
in this house and the house is like four hundred
years old. Older than our country a lot older. That's crazy.
I haven't hit our terrible threes yet.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
We started to Cheerios. The cereal people will release a
birthday cake flavored cereal in a red, white and blue
box in early summer. Coca Cola is going to have
special mini cans with a design for each state, like
Georgia's Peach to California's Surfers. Very cool.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
A Mountain Dew is actually going to be renamed as
American Doll.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
I'm surprised it wasn't that originally it should have been.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Yeah, and Oreo has a Firecracker pop cookie. It's a
collab between Oreo and Popsicle with blue raspberry, lemon and
cherry flavored cream sandwich between two cookies.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Oreo looks like the first cookie ever made. They're always
messing with it, but I gotta say the O g
is always.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Yeah, they're always putting different flavors inside.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Texture feels like the first cookie ever made as well.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
It does like it does fifty years ago. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
All right, back to the music.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Al Mario Courtney Lopez. All right, better choose your side
t Mario or Team Quardo, because we're just a few
songs away from another round of slang game. Back to
battle it out next, we're am Courtney Lopez. Time to
get to another round of the slang game. Quarto and
I trying to figure out slang from words from different
regions or periods of time. All right, what is the

(03:09):
theme today?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
The theme today is actually time. It's alternative words for
time from any era. Well the yeah, these are just
words that mean different periods or amounts of time. It
makes sense. See Fortnite Fortnite.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Fortnite is six months.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Incorrect, Courtney, forty nights incorrect, two weeks, two weeks A
Fortnite is two weeks. It was used a lot in
the eighteen hundreds.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I wonder if it's using the video game.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I'm sure if not missed opportunity sin night s n night.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
That's a month.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Incorrect according one night incorrect, one week, one week, millennium
Mario thousand years that is correct on zero circadian rhythm. No,
this doesn't finished a sentence. Two hundred years incorrect, one years,

(04:15):
twenty four hour cycle. Oh circadian, Yeah, I thought.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
It was one hundred century. But that's why I just thought, Okay,
what's a circadian rhythm?

Speaker 3 (04:22):
That's your twenty four hour like, Yeah, rhythm of your
body is all that century.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Right?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
One hundred years on hundred years is RCT two to
zero overmorrow, overmorrow over one hundred years incorrect? I think
the confidence one night incorrect. Day after tomorrow You're close
and finally air yesterday, Air yesterday, all right, today incorrect?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
The past more specific yesterday, day, day before yesterday.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
You messed it up. I thought it was today, yesterday
before yesterday.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Okay, more Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (05:09):

please hit us up questions, comments, whatever you got, a
few more songs are going to dig into our mentions
to see what's on your mind that's coming up next.
At all with Mario on Facebook and ex at all
Mario Lopez on Instagram. Mario Lopez here questions comments, whatever

(05:54):
you got love hearing from you? Would you find for
us today?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
This is from at wit zitdy. You know, observing the world,
there's no bond stronger than two people who are annoyed
by the same things.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Oh hello, social media. That's how people congregate. They don't
care about hearing another opinion. They just want to link
up with people who share theirs.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Every now and then, too, like you'll make eye contact
with someone in traffic who also saw someone do something stupid,
and there's like a moment of like solidarity, right, and
then they do something dumb and you get more.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Mario Lopez coming.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Up a Mark Cordy Lopez saw this and thought it
was pretty interesting. Modern weddings are becoming more budget conscious
than ever before. According to a new research. They found
that the days of glamorous overspending maybe less common, not
for Jeff Bezos. Well, when you're Jeff Bezos, yeah, it's
it's different. But you know what, this is a very
smart approach to your marriage, not just your wedding, but

(06:51):
your actual marriage.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Well, twenty two percent of those planning a wedding referred
to their budget as modest, while only five percent said
they were planning something extravagant. An additional sixteen percent said
they were working with the bare minimum. The average couple
expects to spend a third of their combined annual income on.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
The big day.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
That translates to an average wedding budget of about twenty
one thousand.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Honestly, not that I would want to do anything different,
but I always suggest to my friends now that are
thinking about proposing and get married and all this, like
Robert Hill, for example, give them a shout out. Professor
Jiu Jitsu there said, why don't you just elope man
a lope and have like a little get together. If
you want to spend more money, either have a party.
You have a party, or your honeymoon this and that,

(07:35):
because it really at the end of the day, yes,
I mean, there's nothing more I love than seeing you
in your dress and stuff. But people who might be
a little bit more financially conscious move sure.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
And I think it's especially if it's your second wedding
and you've already, been there, done that.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, for sure, you got it there, you know, more
of a reason.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
But I get sometimes just the woman wants to have
that day and more of the dress, So I get it.
But you can definitely do it on a modest budget.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Third wedding convenience store.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Exactly more.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
A Mario Lopez, Do you have an obsession? Over half
of us are obsessed about something. It's what a new
pole tells us anyway, and our obsessions are all over
all kinds of different things. Top of the list food
we obsess about counting calories, zero sugar drinks, air frying,
and then some obsess about health and fitness, analyzing our fitbit,
smart watch all that. But about third say nope, they'll

(08:27):
have none of that, just let me enjoy life. They
prefer a cocktail in the patio over a protein shake
and would rather run away from the problems than run
at a five K. I see women say all the time.
It's just part of the lingo. Now, Oh I'm obsessed
with this lip gloss.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Oh yeah, totally.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Oh Mario Courtney Lopez keeping the music is it? Come
in your ways and get ready to fire up zoom
to chat with Malcolm in the Middle of Justin Burfield
Hulu dropping a new Malcolm mini series back to get
the scoop on that more when Justin joins us next,
it's up here on Mario Lopez joining me right now
on zoom. You know him is Rees from Malcolm in
the Middle actor Justin Burfield. How you doing, Justin?

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Hey, Mario, good scene again.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I seeing you, man, I seeing you. So congrats. People
are fired up about this new mini series of your
hit show, Malcolm in the Middle coming to Hulu. Pretty
much everyone's back, including Brian Cranston, which is really cool.
How was it being back on side?

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Oh my gosh, it was. It was incredible. It was
almost like time like stood still. We just jumped right
back into it. Yeah, because Brian had Brian had been
talking about this about the last ten years, so Bridan
I would always get lunched together like over our run
our birthdays, and then like ten years ago he brought
it up. He's like, you know, he's like, I want
to get I want to get limited Bald, Like I

(09:53):
really want to do a little like a little revival,
just like a little bit like even like a like
a film just to like get get the crew back together.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, and so ten years I've.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Been hearing about this thing, and I'm like, Okay, yeah,
I'm in. I'm in if you like, if you get
it going. And then sure enough, like a couple of
years later, he's like, what's finally in. He's like he
had he had said no for five years straight and
finally he said, He's like, I got it. I have
like I have the angle into back into the show,
back into this world.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I'm super excited.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Well, Allimria dot com for a preview and hang tight
more with Malcolm in the middle of Justin Burfield coming out.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Getting back to Malcolm in the middle of Justin Burfield,
who was hanging out on Zoom this hour. Mario Lopez
here and before the break, we were talking about Brian Cranston. Now,
when you first saw him on Breaking Bad, did you
trip out, like, Yo, this dude's crazy. How's he pulling
this off? On the heels of.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
You know, I actually watched Breaking Bad probably I've always like,
I'm always like five years delayed watching shows, So I
actually watched it, like well after the run had ended,
I was like, I gotta hear what the hype is
all about. Like with Brian, because I knew he.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Was super talented.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
He was like the entire run of the Malcolm series,
he was like always underrated. I felt like he seems hilarious.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah, and he was funny.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
He's just insane.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
He's funny.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
I did range for everything, right.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
I didn't know he had that in him. I was like, damn,
all right.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
Yeah, So I watched the show and I was like
one of those freaks that binged the show.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
In like one night.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
I think.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
I think it went through like.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
Two seasons a night for like a week straight, and
I was just like, I had no sleep. I was like,
my eyes are bloodshot, I dark circles in my eyes.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
But I could.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
I couldn't stop watching it. But he's incredible. Brian is,
Brian's the man.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Yeah, and he's super cool too. Justin Burfield is where
us We got more with him coming up first music
al Mari Lopez getting the scoop on who Lose New
Malcolm in the Middle mini series from actor Justin Burfield
too plays ree So as far as the show, what's
going on in the series twenty years after the original ended.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
Yeah, so it literally picks up twenty years from where
the show raps. So at that time, Malcolm was going
up to college, Reese was doing whatever he was doing.
Alan Lewis had a surprise.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Uh pregnancy.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
There was a positive pregnancy test at the end. So
now we pick up just for that, just for that ended,
But twenty years later, it's Alan MOS's fortieth wedding anniversary.
So they're getting the family back together, they're getting old
friends back together. So I think if you're a fan
of the show and you like, you'll recognize a lot
of the characters at this party.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
That's cool. All right, Justin Hank Tack one more thing
I want to ask quick break. We're gonna come back
and wrap it up, wrapping up with Maloc in the
middle of Justin Burfield, Mario Lopez, you've been getting the
scoop on his new Malcolm mini series on Hulu. And
now Eric Prisulman, who played your youngest brother Dewey on
the on the show, he's not back, correct.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
No, So Eric, he's just he's a good guy. He's
he's he's beyond acting. He's like he's going to college
he's he's happy.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
He's happy to be out that world.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
So we recast with an acting named Caleb, and he
crush He crushes it. I honestly think he has some
of the funniest is some of some of the funniest dialogue.
So like, when people watch the show, they'll kind of
get the world because his his characters always over zoom.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
So but once you watch the show, you'll get why
that is. But he's he's hilarious. He crushed it.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
He looks he looks just like Doey.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
We we love Eric, we wish he we want him
to join us, but we respect him. But Caleb, Caleb
did a great job. I don't think people are really
gonna notice. Okay, he looks he looks just like doing.
He looks just like doing nice man Nice.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
So that's gonna be fun for everyone to uh to
check out. Congratulations on that and listen, everyone be sure
to check out Malcolm in the Middle, Life's Still Unfair
on Hulu. Looks really funny. Justin thanks for checking in.
Thanks Barrio. All right, buddy, take care.

(14:36):
But first, it's no secret we love dogs around here.
We've got three phrases, got a few and obviously having
a dog can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also
tend to take over your life. New survey found that
the average dog parent makes twenty seven decisions every month
based on their pet.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Wait, what that's.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
All yes, you would not know.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
Then there's another pet.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
I pet the dogs every time I see him Courservet.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
What food do they eat?

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Do you know anything about them?

Speaker 2 (15:02):
That's why? That's why.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Right, So I have twenty seven times three because we
have three.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Then there's another category of pet parents called the dink wads,
which is you. Those are the people with double income.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
No kidds, he's got kids.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
They basically consider their dogs to be their children and
spend over one hundred and twenty five a year on
dog toys and treats, and even more on personalized gear
for them like engraved toys and monogram blankets.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Okay, one hundred and twenty five a year on treats
like that's that's that's like one trip phraser.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
You're a dink wad?

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Do I have a double income?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
More? Mario Lopez coming.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Up, amar Courney Lopez. Time to make it a little
weird with cordos or random thoughts. What you got, honey?

Speaker 4 (15:46):
So apple watches are just Tomogatchi's except the stupid animal
you're trying to keep alive is yourself.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
It does tell me when I when I need to stand,
It tells me. Yeah, if I need to walk more.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
I need to get an apple.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Lot of bossing me around.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Actually, okay, okay, Mario Lopez here getting close to the
end of our radio fund. Just one last thing to
get to, plus probably enough time to play a request
or two before I get out of here. So if
you got a song you want to hear, hit me
up at all on Mario on X. You're all Mario
Courtney Lopez not for one last thing. According to science,

(16:22):
the perfect male form has been discovered and it's the
dad bot. Chinese Research Institute did the study and overwhelmingly
women chose bodies with the BMI between twenty three and
twenty seven. Therefore, the most attracted bodies weren't lean or skinny,
but rather those are the few extra lbs. Researchers say
a little extra body fat helps to circulate testosterone. Basically,

(16:43):
a mid range BMI is optimal for survival and reproductive fitness. Okay,
So ladies in China wilding out, God bless them, God
bless them more.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
