bedtimes during the ten PM hour, and revealing that it
takes people an average of twenty one minutes to actually

month and eight really bad ones.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
I had a bad one last night.
Speaker 2 (01:08):

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Mario Lopez. Here was some quick health buzz for you.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
A word is that listening to music lowers your risk
of dementia. Researchers found the people who regularly listen to
music may have a significantly lower risk of developing dementia,
with some studies suggesting can be around forty percent or lower.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
It's pretty big.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Scientists believe it stimulates multiple parts of the brain at
once help strengthen memory, attention. Emotional processing can also reduce stress,
improve your mood, and encourage social interaction. Because music activates
networks across both hemispheres of the brain, it may help
maintain cognitive function as you age. Now, music alone is
not the cure or guarantee against dementia. Researchers say it's
(04:15):
easy and enjoyable to help support brain health. Combined with exercise,
social activity, and mental challenges, music and play an important
role in keeping the mind active.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
I like that. I agree.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
I always have music on some capacity or the other,
whether I'm cleaning, whether I'm in the car, whatever the
case may be. Maybe I should practice silence. Maybe you
should do the opposite. Well, no, because my brain's work.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Yeah, you want your brain to be active.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
Mario Lopez Here.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Music rolls on right after Fraser tries to make us
think with a random thought, what you got?
Speaker 7 (04:45):
I saw this online and it's I think it's one
hundred percent true. Does it seem like every three months
they're telling us that there's a moon that only occurs
every ten thousand years, and if we don't see it now,
we're never going to see it.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
Yeah, because that seems to happen constantly.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
It was the blood moon that was like the quarter
move wolf moved there was all kind Yeah, there's.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
A lot of moons, a lot of moons out there.
Speaker 6 (05:04):
It can't be that many rare moons.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
Gave you the music and fun coming at you. You're
on Mario Lopez. Few more songs than going to get
a life pack. In the meantime, we'd love to play
a song for you. So you got a song you
want to hear?
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Slide those requests into our DMS over an ig at
on Mario Lopez, a Mario Courtney Lopez quick stop in
a Quardo's corner for something fresh.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
All about road trips today, right.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
That is correct.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
So we've all offered to drive on a road trip
only to get annoyed at our passengers or children.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
And a new.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Study asked what are the bad habits that make drivers
go crazy?
Speaker 4 (05:40):
So these are the things that you should not do.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Top of the list is backseat driving. Of course, be quiet,
Just be quiet. Then comes leaving trash behind and eating
messy or smelly food.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
You can't go messy, definitely, you know, you can't.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Just have a trash bag there. And just as you're et.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
I do this on the airplane too, because I'm not
I'm not route on an airplane. I put it in
a bag. Your feet up on the dashboard. Nobody wants
to see your toes, okay.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
Or your dirty feet?
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Are your dirty feet? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Other things on the list are changing the music without asking, talking,
talking loudly on the phone, and giving unwanted directions. But
sometimes it's just the comments that make us nuts, like
you could have made that light, or I would have
taken a different route, so I could have made that
You could have made that light is something you would say, honey,
(06:31):
and I would have taken a different route, of something
my mom would say.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
And the classic are we there yet?
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Is of course the kid with the kids would So
you all need to just leave me alone.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
You know what's a good thing to do when you're
taking a road trip and you're not driving, Sleep, take
a nap.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
I do it all the time.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Mario Lopez will be right back on.

the Mass Singer, but he's a legend in the soap world.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
So don't move.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
I love a good egg plant. Lots to talk about

How are you, sir?
Speaker 8 (07:44):
All right, I'll get to see you. How you doing.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
I'm doing well. I'm doing well. I've been playing golf lately.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
You know.
Speaker 9 (07:49):
I had a tournament about a month ago down in Orlando,
so yeah, I got ready for that.
Speaker 8 (07:54):
But other than that, not not too much. How about you.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
I don't play. I have a tournament myself. I literally
have a tournament. I think I've invited you to play.
Speaker 8 (08:03):
Yeah, no, I played one.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
You played one year. I believe.
Speaker 8 (08:06):
Yes, great, it's a great event you have over at
light Side with La there.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I want our listeners to know Jack's the real deal,
playing right there Old School Road.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
And Mario was the mascot for the tournament.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
That's right. I'm good at entertaining. I make sure everyone
has a cocktail and a cigar and where yeah to do.
Speaker 8 (08:20):
Yeah, you're loose out there, man. You make them a
fun day for everybody.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Well you were just revealed as the egg Plant. I'm
the latest season.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
Of the Mass Singer. First of all, I love that.
If you were the egg Plant? What made you decide
to do the show? Were you familiar a fan?
Speaker 8 (08:35):
You know? I, deep down, Polly, I've always wanted to
do that show.
Speaker 9 (08:38):
I think I'm a fit for that show as a
you know, an entertainer singer. So you know, they asked
me to do it, and then you know, when you
actually become a contestant.
Speaker 8 (08:49):
There's this big zoom call, right Mario with.
Speaker 9 (08:52):
About eight executives and costume and music, and they said, well.
Speaker 8 (08:56):
Here's what we're thinking. We'd like you to be the
egg plant. I'm like, okay, let's roll with it, right.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Jack Wagner's hanging out with us talking about his time
on the Mass Singer lots more to talk about right
after a quick break.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
More fun on the way on with Mario.
Speaker 10 (09:11):
Lopez talking to Mass Singer with self legend Jack Wagner,
who was hanging out on Zoom with Us here with
Mario Lopez, recently revealed as the egg Plant and Jack,
you performed a bunch of heavier rock songs, Lincoln Park, Ozzy,
what made you decide to go that route?
Speaker 8 (09:24):
They have a theme every week, right, so this was
oz Fast week.
Speaker 9 (09:28):
I came out of the box though with a Rocketman
by Elton John.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
So for me, I nailed that one.
Speaker 6 (09:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (09:35):
My whole U, my whole time on this show was
made right there. I'm a huge Elton John fan, and
I think I laid a pretty solid vocals. So the
costume itself, the Eggplant. Have you done Mass Singer, Mario?
Speaker 5 (09:47):
I am not, but I get guest every year. Well
you do, okay, I guess all right?
Speaker 9 (09:53):
So you know this egg plant costume they had to
pretty much I had.
Speaker 8 (09:57):
They had to drop it on me.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
Oh my god, you know, I.
Speaker 9 (09:59):
Get inside this whole harness strapped in, put my arms outside.
Speaker 8 (10:04):
Thee on the leaves. You know.
Speaker 9 (10:06):
It was big and wide and plastic and cumbersome. So
it was an adjustment on what you could do physically,
you know, to match up with a vocal in terms
of a performance, right, just kind of getting used to it.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
Did that prove difficult? We just with a singing too?
Speaker 9 (10:20):
Yeah, I meant actually it was because it was a
you know, I didn't have my legs. I didn't I
couldn't really move. When I first saw the Elton first piece,
I thought I was doing so much inside there.
Speaker 8 (10:33):
But ultimately I was.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Like, right, you dit, You're right.
Speaker 9 (10:39):
I'm like, oh my god, this isn't this isn't moving
at all.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 8 (10:43):
It was a little.
Speaker 9 (10:43):
Little tough that way, but I still I still love
being the eggplant.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Well Almoro dot com to check out Jack's Mass Singer
performances Hang Tight more with him coming up. Mario Lopez
here catching up with actor Jack Wagner This Hour and
talking about.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
His time on The Mass Singer And Yeah, the judges
pretty much full.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
They were guessing names like Kenny Loggins, Daryl Hall, Alice Cooper.
Speaker 5 (11:04):
That's how I pray that's right there.
Speaker 9 (11:07):
I think my clues threw them off because they, you know,
I'm not known for my history in theater, although I've
done a lot of theater and Broadway. So my first
clue was Broadway and so they were thinking, you know,
Nathan Wayne or Billy Jill. And then my next week
it was We're the World because I was on Quincy
Jones's label, right, and you know, at a number one
(11:29):
record at the time, but We're the World and he's like, hey, man, yeah,
I'm on over to this recording. So I think that
stumped them a bit with the.
Speaker 8 (11:36):
Other names that they compared me to, but it was
pretty flattery.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
TOMR. Lopez quickly getting back to the legendary.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
So back to Jack Wagner, who's on Zoom, and I
want to ask you about something you brought up. Man,
you were in the studio the night for We Are
the World that I can't imagine. The documentary was excellent too,
and it was it as sort of surreal as being there.
Speaker 5 (11:58):
Did it all just kind of happen as a blur?
Speaker 8 (12:00):
You know?
Speaker 9 (12:00):
Mary, I actually I'm on that documentary because I gave
Lionel Ritchie an.
Speaker 8 (12:04):
An Award that night.
Speaker 11 (12:05):
That's right center, and you know in your career, I
was in the throes of the beginning, like it was
a storm of General Hospital and a hit record and
putting a band together in touring, so I.
Speaker 8 (12:19):
Was I remember the pulse of all of that.
Speaker 9 (12:21):
It was overwhelming though, to just see all of these
musical artists and Michael Jackson did come up to me
and just say I love your record, I love your voice,
and I.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
Was like, wow, that's awesome.
Speaker 9 (12:34):
A bit frozen, you know, and they use that as
part of my you know, clues. So yeah, that was
a you know, it's one of those things where it
was an experience that I had personally that only I
will ever ever have, right, it was mine and it
was unbelievad well, yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
That's unbelieved. That's so cool. It was such a fascinating life.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
I love it all right, Jack hay tag one more
thing I'm want to ask quick break and we're going
to come back.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
And wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Full interview now on with Mario dot Com. More Mario
Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Wrapping up with Jack Wagner, who's been hanging out on
Zoom this hour. Mario Lopez here and Jack, I'm not
even talking about your time on the Mass Singer, but
of course you're an iconic acter on soaks and you've
appeared in some of the biggest ones. And last year,
I know you returned to Bolden and Beautiful. Any any
chance fans can can see you again on the show,
you know.
Speaker 9 (13:21):
That was kind of a one off thing and it
kind of worked because I don't know, if you know,
I got married last year and I did my honeymoon
in Italy and we shot bold and Beautiful in Italy,
so it was.
Speaker 8 (13:30):
Kind of a combo platter.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
But it's huge.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
You don't do what.
Speaker 5 (13:33):
It's huge there in Italy too.
Speaker 8 (13:35):
Yeah, it gets like a sixty share. It's crazy, that's cs.
It's incredible. But for me, you know, for me, it's
been the Hallmark Channel for the last fourteen years.
Speaker 9 (13:43):
You know, right now when Calls the Heart is in
season thirteen, the last three episodes of airing Sunday Night.
Speaker 8 (13:49):
We just got picked up for season fourteen Somorrio.
Speaker 9 (13:52):
You know it, you know, in this business to get
on a series that's a hit, you know, And for me,
family friendly television is really worked well for me and
my career. In my demographic and I just love being,
you know, in the Hallmark family.
Speaker 8 (14:05):
It's been a really great run for me.

Another hilarious social media trend answering the question, Dad, what
were you like in the nineties? Hit up at Alan
Mario Lopez to check out the video I just dropped
answering that question.
Speaker 5 (14:55):
You know what was hard about doing that.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Little video is I couldn't find any picks of my
own from the nineties.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
Does that make sense? Like they're all hard covered pixs.
We didn't have cell phones back then, right.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Right, So that why you asked me where the thing
of pictures?
Speaker 5 (15:09):
I was asking you where the photo albums were. Yeah,
so I didn't because we didn't have cell phones. So
I don't know where the photo albums are going.
Speaker 7 (15:15):
Back then, they weren't digital, so they weren't like on
a hard drive.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
I do know where photos are of you and your exes?
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Great, I do.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
Anywhere did you bury that?
Speaker 1 (15:26):
I have them?
Speaker 4 (15:27):
I have them in a safe place.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Fortunately, I got to google some picks and they puffed
up and people were pretty nice.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
They were all very early ninety picks too.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Another pretty funny video I recently shared was me asking
our youngest Santino, that if I went missing and he
had to describe me to the police, what would he say?
All right, Sonny, if daddy went missing and the police
asked you to describe.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
Them so they can find him, what are you going
to say? You have nice.
Speaker 12 (15:55):
Shoes, and you have big legs and gims any of ours,
a giant pig poles and armie holes, and you have
any handsome and showing muscles.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
It's pretty good. It's pretty good. You think they'll find him? Yes, hop, yes,
I hope I do.
Speaker 7 (16:20):
Like also in the moment where you go if I
went missing, his eyes like shifts like what's happening.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
The funniest thing is the first thing is that he
has nice shoes. Dang, he likes my kicks. He had
the Mario Lopez kicks on Ike, think I did?
Speaker 9 (16:33):
I did?
Speaker 5 (16:34):
I bother my legs are that big? They're not?
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Thanks?
Speaker 4 (16:37):
He has very tidy ankles.
Speaker 5 (16:39):
You're well, yeah, don't want I'll be rocking cankles.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
I think he nailed it more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
On Mario Courtney Lopez bout to head out for than I,
but not before we squeeze in one last thing.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Some parents on TikTok are giving their toddlers sticks of
raw butter as a snack.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
Come on, are we just trying to Can.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
We do that?
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Straight buttersticks? Folks?
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Supporters say the grass fed raw kind is packed with
vitamins and healthy fats, and they swear it helps with
everything from sleep to brain development. However, a lot of
people online think the whole thing sounds a little well unusual.
Trend is tied to the so called carnivore baby movement,
where parents focus on whole foods like meat, eggs, and
dairy instead of the usual crackers and packaged snacks. Well,
there's something to be said for that.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
You know.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
I made fun of that obviously, and I started talking
about it. I used to when I go to my
grandmother's after school my parents were working, I would get
a stick of butter and with about ten horn made
tortillas and my grandmother would make I'd use the butter
and put it all over the tortillas.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
