Why did you think pressure? This is from Marianna Lenarski.
I think we learn about other planets too young. They
should keep it from us until we're like sixteen and
then be like, guess the what I mean. It's pretty
mind blowing when you're a little kid, too, but it's
mind boying right now you start seeing out the fact
there's all these like the amount of stuff that's out
there floating around, it's insane.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
I don't think at any point it's ever like no
big deal. I think you shouldell us as soon as

Let's see what's up, honey.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
So this is a little known fact.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Before the crowbar was invented, crows had to drink it home.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Hey, good delivery. Wah wah.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Hey, you're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
I'm here with producer Fraser to tell us what is
new on TV and streaming.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
What's the human Vapor on Netflix. A sci fi horror thriller,
a modern take on a classic Japanese story about a
man who suddenly turns into vapor. Isn't that like a
it's literally human vapor like air? Well, it's like misst
right right, right? Yeah, okay, kind of like steam. He
turned into steam.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
The Titanic. Thing that burst in the water, the iceberg.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
No, the Titanique, the Titanique, Titanic, Titanic. No, that was
a ship. No, what are we doing? Are you saying
that was a steam engine? Sub Oh?
Speaker 4 (02:33):
That ocean gate?
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Yes, that imploded, same thing and turned to mist as well.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Forget it.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Enough about human vapor. Super Subu on Netflix and Indian
comedy where an unlucky guy gets stuck teaching sex ed
in a conservative village while dodging his strict dad's wrath
and Survival of the Thickest Season three on Netflix. This
is a hilarious and heartfelt comedy returning for its final season.
And I mean the title's funny.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
I love it. I'd watch it just because of the title.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Well, Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
I'm Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
America is turning two hundred and fifty and iHeartRadio is
celebrating with two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in cash,
so listen for your chance to win twenty five hundred
so you can take the ultimate American get away and

Speaker 3 (03:23):
On with Mario dot Com to find out how to
win your share of two hundred and fifty grand from
iHeartRadio and On with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Mario Lopez, your music roles on. But wanted to mention
something I ran across because I think it confirms something
I've always kind of said. What is the ideal number
of friends? Well, a new study out that says the
sweet spot for friendship might be five. These are the
people you can text at two AM or vent to
without a filter. It turns out people with five solid
connections feel more grounded, more supported, and science also says
(03:56):
that three friends is good, but five gives you that
extra cushion that, no matter what, someone has got your back.
Okay yo, mari A Lopez, producer, Fraser and studio with
me because it's signed for that's.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Rank with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
All right, what am I ranking?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Well? Since we were just talking about your core besties. Uh,
we usually do Mount Rushmore, but let's do who are
your core five friends? Who are you calling at two
am when you get arrested? Oh gosh, Bob Shapiro calling it?
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Or Mark Garrigos, Oh my, I got I mean, do
I count my cousins?
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Those friends?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Well then my yeah, yeah, I like my cousin Alex. Probably,
I'm close to all my cousins, but him and I
are the same agent. We grew up together.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
None of them listen to the show, so they're not
going to know it's fine.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah, so my probably my cousin Alex. And then uh,
I gotta give my boy Blanket a shout out in
Ohio because he's there. He's onmost more like a cool
older brother, dad.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Brother, dad, uncle, Yeah, grandfather, great grandfather all the time.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
My boy Panya, that's a good one, my Benyon two
more again.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
Alex Blanket, Banya, my boy Antonio Antonio Tonia he's up
to because I know that they don't hesitation a come
bail me out watch Juan show because I'm known since
twelve years old.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah, I mean I've not got so many, but I
mean you know, I'm lucky. That might be your core fiver.
I think that's the core five. All right, that's the
core five.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
More Mario Lopez coming up, Yo, Mario Lopez, about to
drop today's music history lesson on you. Today, we're going
back to the year of my birth and the song
that captivated an artist so much that you rushed to
record it back to reveal it. Next, Yo, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Time to get some fresh life acts in Courtney's corner.
My wife finding little things so hopefully make your life
(05:43):
a little easier. What you got, honey.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
So we're talking pets in the fourth of July. Yes,
this is their worst nightmare. Specifically, ways to keep them
calm during fireworks, which can terrify dogs and cats because
they hear so incredibly well. So try to keep your
pet in the most centrally located room in the house.
Maybe you have a bedroom or a bathroom that's away
from all of the walls.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
It'll be a little quieter in there.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
It's a very good idea because they're already very sensitive
what they're hearing.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah, a nice distraction, like a new bone, something they
can chew on for a long period of time.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
Help a distract them.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Music TV or a sound machine in the room that you.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Put them in.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Okay, we've got that.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
I have that, Yep, CBD or Melantone treats. They can
help your dog remain calm. We have some of those
from nature Vet.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
Yes, those are really good.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
And make sure your pet gets a bunch of exercise
earlier in the day because that can make them sleepier
and relax easier.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Just like a child. Get them exhausted. Try a thundershirt.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
It's a compression shirt for dogs that makes them feel
like they are being cuddled.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Wait, I like that for me, Poor.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (06:53):

First more music? All right, time for pop culture pop quiz.
You're all with Mario and Courtney Lopez. Today's quiz throwback
themed answering nineties trivia. So let's waste no time to
get our hands on the buzzers.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
What's up? All right? Here we go? What nineteen ninety
seven in sixty four video game, widely cited as one
of the greatest of all time, features James bond up
against a criminal syndicate, and is named after the nineteen
ninety five film In the Courting Indiana Jones incorrect Indiana Jones,
(08:22):
a whole other franchise of You to a Kill incorrect GoldenEye, GoldenEye. Okay, alright,
zero zero, Here we go, hands on buzzers. Just down
the street from Monica's apartment, Central Perk was a fictional
coffee shop Mario Friends. Correct, there was, but it was
(08:46):
going to get to what is the show? So it
is one zero? Here we go. In the nineteen nineties,
what Illness, previously thought to be confined to cattle was
found to have been expanded to impact life stock, other animals,
and even humans. Courney salmonilla incorrect, mad mad cow disease,
(09:12):
Now mad cow disease is correct. But I cannot give
you a point because you get help from your friends.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Who's sleeping on That was not that was not.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
That shady, And Corney said it right before you too,
so she kind of gave it to you as well.
All right, So no point. It's one to zero, and
you both get a prop which cancels each other out
to no props. So one to zero. One more in
this round. Here we go Julie White or famously huge
glasses playing Steve Erkele on what long running? Mario hamily matters.
(09:42):
That is correct. Two to zero. We'll take a break, crime,
come back and do some more.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
Score is two to one.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I'm winning one question. No, we cancel each other.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
They're out with pops. Corney never got a point. It's
two to zero. I think no, pardon it's two to zero.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
I am winning.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
I'm just trying to be accurate here. One question. Let's
get our hands all right, here we go. One question
in this round, hands on buzzers. What fitness program is
said to have originated in the nineteen nineties, when Colombian
aerobics teacher Alberto Perez subbed salsa for his normal workout
class music zumba. Correct, that's great, that's insane. I'm actually
(10:36):
thinking time over zoom. I was thinking of the thing.
I'm shocked you got that, but it's uh.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Tibo was on my mind too.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
It's three to zero. We're gonna play some music. I'mack
and do another. You're just an a.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
You're sick of it right now, kisser.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Round three of Today's pop culture Pop Quiz Mario Cordo
Lopez here throw.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
Scores three to zero. I'm in the lead.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
One question this round, Let's get our hands in the buzzers.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
After the breakup of Nirvana in nineteen ninety four, Dave
Grohl went on foo fighters correct, not even having that
was like the braves chant from the Atlanta Braves. The
Tomahawk schop didn't even have to finish the question. It
is for to zero.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
I'd a throwback dream the other night.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
Oh I want to hear about that later. God, alright,
four to zero. We're gonna play some music and back
and wrap it up.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Final around to today's throwback pop quizer Onmorrow.
Speaker 5 (11:35):
Courtney Lopez answering trivia questions about the nineties of score
is four to zero. I am just sweep.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
You really are, all right, Brazer.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Let's wrap it up here we go. What were the
names of the two rappers who were the focal points
of the East Coast West Coast hip hop rivalry Ario
Tupac Shakur and then Notri's b ig. That is correct?
Five its to zero. Can't you see some It surprised me.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I feel like the Dodgers right now.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
Let's go set in Detroit. What nineteen nineties sitcom featured
real life identical twins Tia and Tamara? Is it Tamara?
That was Tamara? That is it was Courtney? It is
Corney sister, sister? That is correct? Good, very good. It
is five to one. There is one question left. This
one is worth ninety points. If you were a kid
(12:24):
in the nineties, when you weren't looking for Waldo in
the pages of a book, you might have wondered where
in the world a certain trench, Oh, I know, I.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Know where in the world is common San Diego, Toney Ways.
Speaker 1 (12:43):

Music rolls on as we recognize today's obscure holiday. You're on,
Mario Courtney Lopez, what'd you find for us to celebrate today?
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Any Nichols World UFO Day? Congratulations, only a day for you.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
They don't call them UFOs anymore.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Remember there was air UAPs now UAPs now unidentified aer
aerial phenomenon. Yes, wow UAP. So this is for the
old school UFO brigade.
Speaker 5 (13:36):
And let's not forget the government basically said, we don't
know what they are. They're in our skies.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Good luck, there we go there mayl Courtney Lopez here
and let's put a spotlight on my wife and get
to Courtney's random thought. What do you got, honey?
Speaker 5 (13:48):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Well, if practice makes perfect but nobody is perfect, why practice?
Speaker 2 (13:55):
This is why I like the saying my coach used
to say. Perfect practice makes per perfect. You've got to
practice perfectly to an order to execute perfectly.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
But nobody's perfect.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
No individual is, but a feet can be perfect. Like
people have scored a perfect bowling game. They've scored you
know what I mean, You've had perfect darts and billiards
and stuff like that. So you can have a perfect feet,
but no individual is perfect. So that's what he would say,
perfect practice.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
You know who's perfect?
Speaker 2 (14:23):
You? Yeah, I know, Orio Lowpez here, getting close to
the end of our radio fund. Just one last thing
to get to plus probably enough time to play a
request or two before I get out of here.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
So if you got a song you want to hear,
hit me up at all and Mario on.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
X Ya, Mark, Courtney love Pazz squeezing in one last
thing before we get out of here.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
For the night.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
So Wahlberg, Honey, face timy, you know he loves face time.
And I had my glasses on and he was kind
of giving me a hard time that I use reading glasses,
and I'm like, dude, we're the same age.
Speaker 5 (14:55):
You're actually older than me. Don't you use him?
Speaker 2 (14:57):
He goes I used to, but I trained my eyes
to get stronger, and I said, get at it, he goes.
Bro This doctor said, your eyes are a muscle, just
like the rest of your body. If you don't use it,
an eleatrophy, but you could build a back up if.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
You train it.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
And I'm like, are you serious, Like, yeah, I don't
use them anymore to read scripts. And on the heels
of this conversation, my buddy Davey Daves said, I don't
use them anymore either. I trained my eyes, Like well what?
And then Totty, my other buddy, said, my uncle did
the same thing. And then Terry was just over hearing
the conversation. She chimed in with Paul McCartney did the
same thing.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
So you know a bunch of liars. Well that's what
I'm thinking, I said, is everybody trolling me? Messing with me?
Right now?
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Hold on, hold on a second. And then I was
at peet this morning physical therapy with McGinnis, my guy
I trusted individual, and I ran it by him.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
I said, I want your take.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
He goes, there's actually some truth to that, because that's
why and you use the same analogy my other friend, Kim,
did you put a patch over your eyes and you
can train one that is weaker to get as strong as.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
The other one. He goes.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
It depends, though, on the severity of your ice and
if you're near sighted faresighted, so there is some there
is some circumstances. So but bottom line, Wahlberg, I think
was right.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
I've done some research. It will not solve near sightedness
or far sightedness. It will help with eyestrain and what
I have though you have eyestrained, but it doesn't help
your actual vision. It helps prevent you from trying to
basically hurting your eyes by trying to art, but your
vision is still messed up already. It's not going to
correct that. But go ahead and try do your eye workouts.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Notice all men said that, No Terry's a woman.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
No Terry said Paul McCartney did it.
Speaker 5 (16:32):
I'm going to give it a shot. I say that, But.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
So now you're going to be a pirate.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
Here's the thing about glasses.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
I feel I look distinguished.
Speaker 5 (16:40):
You do look sex or Mario Lopez. That's it.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Thanks for hanging with us on Mario dot com to
relive all our radio fun. Back to do it again tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Maybe maybe Quarter will be here.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Yeah, let's relive it. Can't wait until then.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
This is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
I'm a hypocrite
Speaker 1 (17:00):
With Mario Lopez
