at day at this age.

when when you realize your debut album was blown up?

We went to New York Parkham Region Hotel.
Speaker 6 (06:15):
We'd get out the limo, we'd go into the truck,
the security, the driver gives us our clothing and we
hear YO really.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Like so we turned all right, all right, damn that.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
We go into the lobby and and pretty much everyone
knows who we are. And then we got up into
a hotel room. Like true story.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
We turn on TV. Boom girl, you know it's true.
It was like wow.
Speaker 6 (06:46):
And on the way from the airport from from Kenny Airport,
y Kennedy Airport, Yeah, yeah, you know, yeah, Kenny Airport,
we were looking at downtown and we were playing. We
were being played on two stations. It was like just
like Twilight Zone, those two cats. We learned a lot
when we came to America.

That to me answered, well, you know it went down
like this. You know, we felt like in.

Order to withhold a Grammy in your possession, you had
to sing.

So we willingly gave it back. We told we don't.

Deserve this right, but I could have kept it at home,
but we felt like it was the right thing to do.

But the one thing that that that.

The press failed to always report is that we told
the press.

Time one afternoon, yo, we're going to give it back.

I think he told them, Yo, they're gonna give it back,
so they jumped the gun.

And to this day, I always have to tell, you know,
when I tell people and interviews that, yo.

We wanted to give it back, but they made it
seem like, yeah, it's being revoked.

But we were the one who wanted to give it back.
And also I always have to like.

You know, that's one of the misconceptions that I always
straighten out, which.

Is ironic now because cut too, we have a whole
generation of artists that are like, you know what I'm saying,
and yeah, bron and this and that, it's crazy. All right, Fab,

And when you're thinking about everything that happened, if it

happened today, do you think your story would be less controversial, scandalous, dramatic.

Man, Listen, how smart those influences have become.

We all know how much money some of them generate.

Bro, we would have gotten publicist, manager, attorney, got the team, yo,
and and and and.

We're gonna turn this over.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
We're gonna we're gonna turn this over, and we're gonna
rewrite that history.

And it would have been very possible with social media.
We've been able to be go live, TikTok, whatever it
would have been, we would be. We would have been
able to reinvent ourselves. And that's what.

Social media, you know, is, I believe therefore you can
really turn yourself into something else. The problem with that
is that a lot of people are not what you
think they are straight up, you know so, and especially
from like I even saw not long ago that you

could change your body shape with an app.

You see this right, Look at that we got we
we work hard for it, you know, we got it.
Speaker 6 (09:54):
Yeah, But there's a lot of stuff out there on photo.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
We know you can bump stuff up.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
But now they got an Apple video and now you're
talking about that.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Where are we going?

And Ai?
Speaker 6 (10:07):
Then you have AI music, right, I mean we look
in a whole different world.

But I know one thing. One thing is for sure
singing live, live, truly live. They can't take that away.
So I will be coming to America all in time.

We start with Africa right now, a little bit sprinkle
South America, but at a zeal And then at some
point when it's right then.

the twins, the hips, Vince in Paris and then satis
into a shouted into uh, you know, video games, tennis,
you know, a little bit of golf and always friends
with on vacations right now, and he's growing, he's evolving,

you know, and you know, you know, no one there
at day at this age.

They're in their room with the computer, right Uh.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
You know.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
I keep an eye. But sometimes I'm surprised.

When I look at his drawing book and I'm like,
oh man, he can't draw.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
And then I see he writes stories. He has a
little diary thing. So I'm letting him evolve. But he loves.
Speaker 6 (11:38):
He took piano lessons and then he stopped and now
he's back. I gave him a headphone. So my dude
can't sing too.

Songs as well.
Speaker 6 (11:46):
You know, she she sings. You love to dance. Music
is a family member of the house. So it's always
it's always on blasted and twins. You know they they
they're singing too, you know, they're singing, they're dancing the lego,
you know legos. No.
