Speaker 2 (00:30):
Time to choose your side, Tim Mario or Team Quardo
because it's time for a weekly fake debate where the
topics are made up on the spot at the Passions
Radio Fraser, Who's pro, Who's gone?
Speaker 5 (00:39):
You will be pro, Courtney will be conn. You'll have
fifteen seconds to make your case ten second robotto afterwards.
Your topic today is washing the bottom of your feet.
I'm pro watching your pro washing the bottom of your feet.
So it being summertime, everyone is running around barefoot. If
you're running around barefoot indoor outdoor. It's good to feel
grounded out there. However, your feet do get a little funky,
(01:01):
so you do need to wash them, specifically the bottom.
I go next level and get pedicures. Missus Lopez.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
We don't live in New York City. Our feet don't
get dirty the second we walk outside. There's no reason
to waste motions of your hand.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Going back for say, those motions of your hand. What
mister Lopez.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Wow, it's flip flop.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Whether it's sandal season, the feed are exposed. You need
to get in there, especially if you do self tanner
like someone. I know, it looks like a nasty stain
on the bottom. Well, see the problem is, Oh, no,
you're done, you're done.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
No, no, you're done. She has she has a rebuff.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
You're done, You're you're done. I don't put self tanner
on the bottom.
Speaker 6 (01:51):
Of my feet, so, oh, I know that's why it
looks right.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
So I don't need to scrub a dub dub three
men in a tub like how they used to on
the bottom of my feet.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
I think we all lost. Mario Lopez will be right back.

I think it's like black and White or something. Right.
Isn't that like the Dick Tracy vibe? I think that
sort of film.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I just know Pino Noir.
Speaker 5 (02:29):

paradise where wealthy family's vacation until a disappearance cracks open
the glamorous facade.

It might only be June, but for some people, spooky
season is in full swing. A submarine is trending big
time on TikTok right now, with creators mixing up classic
Halloween vibes, pumpkins, ghosts, and crazy decor with bright summary themes.
I think Pumpkin's to pool floats, burgers with Jack O'Lanterns,
(08:02):
cheese or iced coffee instead of hot cider. I was recently,
I want to say, about a month ago at a
store and they had started to get Halloween stuff.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Yeah, like three weeks ago. I saw Halloween stuff at
a store as well, which it's it's not even summer
at that point.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I love Halloween, but that's a little too early for me.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
You guys have that giant Michael Myers or something you
got right thirty feet and you guys keep that out
most of the year.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
No, no, no, we never, yes, we do for burglars or
they just no. I love Halloween, but it's just it's
too too much, too much.

How you doing, Nate, doing good man?
Speaker 1 (09:38):
You know, getting ready for this movie?
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah, congratulations, new comedy Breadwinner, It is out now. You
wrote and produced it and of course are starring in it.
It's a pretty funny premise described that for people not familiar.
Speaker 7 (09:53):
Yeah, yeah, it's I mean, essentially, I saw I'm a
car dealer and so I my wife is a stay
at home mom.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
She invents something goes on Shark Tank, So our.
Speaker 7 (10:03):
Life kind of just reverse roles and it's just me
trying to figure it out with three lovely daughters, and
you know, then eventually just having to go like, look,
I gotta.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Do it my way. This is the only way I know.
Speaker 7 (10:16):
And it's a very fun sweet cute movie and very funny.
And you know, that's what I really wanted to go after,
was just trying to make something that was you know,
live action funny and you know, just everybody, the whole
family can come.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
To well that that sort of encompasses a lot of
your comedy. And I think why you're so successful too.
You all generations and different just diverse grooves can like it.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
And it's I love it.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Lots more to talk about a few songs than more
with Apergots. Catch it up with comic actor in Apergatsi
Mario Lopez here a new movie is The bread Winner,
inspired by him assuming real.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Life sort of events.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
Is it true?
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
You don't know where your daughters go to school?
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Is that true?
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Yeah? Well they well they she went to a weird
middle school. Mitical got me.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
It was not near where the elementary was. Uh so
I was kind of shocked by that.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Yeah, nothing's better than your your kid's school being geographically convenient.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
That just makes life better.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
Her elementary school and her high school is is unbelievably close,
so those she's going to high school and that she'll
be in ninth grade next year. But it's uh yeah,
like the the middle school is kind of like a
bit of a bit of a drive.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
So it was that it's based on that. It's based
on I.
Speaker 7 (11:31):
Had a story I told him my one of my
specials about someone from the school called and asked who
what my daughter's bus number was?
Speaker 1 (11:39):
And I mean I was just like, what do you
Why would you ever call?
Speaker 7 (11:42):
You know, you would do better asking a lady there,
just a random lady. You can figure it out quicker
than I could.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Right, Hey, is it true man, that you helped recruit
a top QB in high school at a Vanderbilt by
promising of a scene in the movie.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Yes, he's in the movie, Jared Curtis. He's the number
one quarter number one quarterback, you know, recruit biggest group
bandies had.
Speaker 7 (12:09):
I mean it was a lot I was, you know,
it's we had our past quarterback. But he's from Nashville,
so there's a lot of stuff. He's moving like he
didn't make the decision because of this movie.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
But that's the fun.
Speaker 7 (12:20):
Thing within il is like I can kind of jump
in and be like, look, I'll put you in a movie.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
So that's awesome, you know.
Speaker 7 (12:27):
So we got him in the movie and uh yeah,
he's awesome and we're excited to see what he does
with Vandy football.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
That's great, that's great, Nate hank Ti Man, We've got
to take a qui break. We want to come back
and talk some.
Speaker 5 (12:37):
More more fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
A Mario Lopez got my man neighbor Gatzi hanging out
on Zoom this hour.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
A new movie is the bread Winner.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
But Nat you also have a game show ABC called
Greatest Average American.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
People are digging it right now. How do you like that?
Speaker 1 (12:53):
That space it's great.
Speaker 7 (12:55):
It's like you know you when you do the shows again,
it's like something that I just wanted to be silly.
I'm trying to go a little silly right now with
stuff and fun and you know, just easy to watch
and it's fun to see the kids. A lot of
kids watch it, like we went to go eat recently.
There's a bunch of twelve thirteen year old little boys there.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
And then it was they they went they were like, oh,
we love the game show.
Speaker 7 (13:20):
So it was like interesting to get that dynamic and
see who's getting to watch because it's it's again it's
a creating the game show something that you can watch
with your family, Like you know, we used to watch
a lot of stuff and you know, Saved by the
Bell and ignored that and so there, you know, it's
like going back to trying to somewhat create some of
that kind of stuff where you're everybody can sit and
(13:42):
watch and everybody likes it.
Speaker 6 (13:43):
That's the best. That's the best right there?
Speaker 2 (13:45):
All right, Nate hain't tight a few more songs. We
want to come back and talk some more. Getting back
to Nabrigat Si Mario Lopez here a new movie, The
Breadwinner is out now hosting a game show on ABC.
And with all that you got going on, you're gonna
be on tour this summer, the Big Demise World Tour.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
What what what topics.
Speaker 6 (14:03):
Are you hitting on the road?
Speaker 7 (14:05):
It's, uh, you know, I got I got a fun
ai joke that I open with and then you know,
just talking about my family and you know everything what
I love about stand up is if you go back
to my first albums to now, it's just kind of
like life and I just talk about just kind.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Of where you are and those different parts of your life.
And so having a daughter and her having.
Speaker 7 (14:28):
Sleepovers and to me and my wife would be married
twenty years this year, so talk about that, and so it's.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Just a yeah, it's a fun hour. Very this hour
has been very fun to mold together.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
And uh, yeah, I'll be taking this special soon and
so it should come out later this year.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
I think.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
Congrats on that, brother. And I also heard I don't
know if this is true.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
You're planning to build a theme park in Nashville and
your hometown.
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Are you gonna have nate Land right there like Dollywood?
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Like Dollywood? Yes, I mean we're not.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
We're like four hours from Dollywood. We're not trying to
take away from Dollywood. But yeah, it's like it's it
says Innateland. The park's not going to be just it's
not like it's a park about me. It's it's it's
Nashville had a theme park on opy Land. Yeah, and
here's my first job, and then they shut it down
when I was in high school. And I think the
whole city just was like, what are you doing if
(15:20):
we love? This theme park in Nashville is a place
that can uh have a full theme park. It has
the population for it, and so again it fits in
with what I want to do is just be able
to create memories for families and have them come. And
the goal is to It's called Mayland, but I always think,
you know, I want one day eventually. You don't really
(15:43):
know who Nate is. It's not about It's not about me.
It's just about creating memories and having a fun. You know,
you want stuff to go do with your kids.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
And I love it.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Yeah, that's great, all right, hate tight mar with Nate
coming out.
Speaker 6 (15:55):
The first one is.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Jo Al Mario Lopez got comic Aapor Gods hanging out
on Zoom. The movie is the bread Winner. Now I
got a personal question, if you don't mind me asking.
I was looking at the trailer for for your movie,
right and I was and I was like, damn, his
hair looks good, his weird looks good. At what point
did you start going great and then just say, you
know what'screw, I'm gonna let it keep going.
Speaker 7 (16:19):
It just happened like it was you know, it's like
I won't go bald if the you know, if the
genetic thing works.
Speaker 6 (16:27):
No, you're good right now.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
If you made it to this good, you're good to like,
Oh yeah, you're good once you get past thirty five
are good?
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Yeah all right, so good, that's great to you.
Speaker 7 (16:36):
And then so with the gray, it was just like
I went great quicker and it started it was like
sprinkling in there. Yeah, and then it just is like
you just you know, I was just doing stand up,
so it wasn't like I had to do it for
any roles or anything. Yeah, and then it became cool.
So then you're like, it just all kind of works out.
That's like I think, if you just stick with something,
you can usually wait out.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Until it all comes back around.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
That's like close anything you can just if you can
stick with a style, you're gonna go through some rough
times in the middle.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
They don't btual come back around.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
See because full disclosure, I started going gray about ten
years ago or something. And as you can say, I
use just for a minute, I'm like Anderson Cooper under
here if I don't pay so I'm debating, but I
go see but I see, I'll see like you and
I'm like, see if I can do it like that,
like a little salt and peppery, it stays.
Speaker 6 (17:24):
But then min I like you the way you are.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
We don't you know?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
I like that, Nate.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
If Mario changes, it's gonna throw off the world.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
It's gonna make I don't know. That's like lebron Ley.
Speaker 7 (17:36):
You're like, I'm not ready for this, man, right right,
you go just be you. You're kind of our north star,
so just don't do anything crazy.
Speaker 6 (17:45):

I appreciate that.
