So I interviewed Bertie Gregory about this show, and they
really are the most important animals. If the bee population
were to become extinct for whatever reason, we would die.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
It would affect everything everything because.

They pollinate and then it's like the chain reaction and
they do sting us.

For myself, Kimberly and Ashley, it's just the right timing
for us three to get together, and we have.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Some unfinished business.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
We had a reunion in twenty nineteen and Miss Rono
came and we weren't able to tour. So the fans
have been waiting patiently and we're about to throw down
for them. We want to give them what they want,
but we also want to think out of the box
and really push ourselves and you know, surprise them on
this tour.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
You know, I don't I.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
Sometimes when you think of a reunion tour, you think, like,
let me get on out there and brush off the
old corsets.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
You know, But we're not doing that.
Speaker 6 (09:19):
We are coming back honestly, hotter, bader, and stronger than ever.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
You want a Tony Award. If your performance in Sunset Boulevard, do.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
You enjoy doing Broadway?
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Would you do it again? Because I know that schedule
can be growing.
Speaker 6 (09:54):
Did I enjoy doing it? It was the hardest thing
I've ever done in my entire It was grueling, it
was relentless, and it was the most rewarding and the
most fulfilling thing I've ever done.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
It I felt like I.
Speaker 6 (10:09):
Was fully in my purpose every performance four hundred and
four hundred and fifty performances later, in my full purpose.
So it was a dream come true for me because
I grew up loving theater and musical theater, and I
definitely will go back to the theater, the Broadway community,
the Western community. The way that they fully embraced me
(10:32):
and supported me and saw me. I felt like, probably
for the first time in my life, I was truly
being seen for who I am and the artist that
I really am.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
And so I.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
Will never forget that they were there for me and
they allowed me to be me and my full self
and every color and the and the highs and the
lows and the lights in the dark sides of me
to come out and they embraced it. And so I
can't wait, one day, I will go back to theater.
I want it to be really special because they deserve
that nice.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
All right, Well, one more thing I want to ask
Hanktag quick break and we're gonna come back and wrap.

be performing? Oh my gosh, I totally forgot about that.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
My first PBS special. That is awesome.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
That's huge for me. I love PBS.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
Yes, Uh, that is my from my Royal Albert Hall
Concert Hall, my.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
First performance there.
Speaker 6 (11:39):
I did a beautiful little hall tour at Royal Upper Hall,
Connegie Hall, and Disney Hall here in California, and I
got to just sing.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
It was more of an extension off of coming off
of Broadway and doing a lot of musical songs that
I love and Uh, to be able to tell those
stories behind some of my favorite songs I've loved growing
up in musical theater. Then I have some covers that
I rock out to that are some of my absolute favorites,
and some classics as well. So it's just like anything
(12:10):
from musical theater to songbirds to rock and roll to classics.
It's just me in my fullest form, living my best
life in gowns and singing my off.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
And lastly, you also have a movie on the way
called Girl Groups, starring alongside Rebel Wilson and Jennifer Coolidge.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
What's this one about?
Speaker 6 (12:28):
Oh my gosh, that was super fun to do, just
coming off of such a heavy, brilliant role playing Norma
Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. I was able to just kind
of be silly in this character, and Rebel was not
only is she starring in it, but she's directing and
(12:49):
she's a dream director. She Yeah, she's a dream director.
Amazing to work with and we had a lot of
fun going back and forth and improving together. So I
not seen any of the outtakes, but I can't wait
to see those dailies.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
But I can't wait.
Speaker 6 (13:08):

Speaker 3 (14:25):
I love to spring clean.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
For most of us, cleaning the bedroom means changing the sheets,
picking them, clothes, maybe doing a little dusting. But a
lot of the real grime is hiding in places we
tend to overlook. Experts say these are things we shouldn't
forget to wipe down what honey light switches.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
People woaded with oils and bacteria. I'm constantly taking wipes,
the disinfectant wipes and touching the light switches, handles, to
the doors, everything, because I know you nasty guys in here.
Don't wash your hands so here we do. No, you
don't laundry hands, emper dirty, even sweaty clothes sit in
(15:02):
there for days.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
No, not in our hamper. We're pretty good about it.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
We're pretty good about that.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
I don't put anything wet in there. That's discussing.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Now, you can't do that, but you do.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
If it's a bag, you have to wash the bag.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
You need to wash them as well. Under the bed
often coated with dust bunnies.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yeah, you gotta get under the bed.
Speaker 6 (15:18):
You forget.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
You have to under the sofa and stuff too.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Everywhere.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
You got to move stuff. Yep, your mattress.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Listen, changing sheets is not enough vacuum your mattress to
get rid of all sorts of dust and critters.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
We don't want critters.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
No, no critters, no critters.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
But you have to wash your pillows. You guys got
to wash your pillows too. You have to wash everything.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Just wash yourself and you and the bottom of your feet.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
In the bottom of.
Speaker 1 (15:41):

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Oh, Walmart's got the cinnamon market corner.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
I used to eat the brown cinnamon sugar pop tarts, yeah,
and dipping into milk.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Do you know that the pop tarts that have frosting
actually have less calories than the ones that don't have frosting.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I saw that, you know, I I saw that online.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
I don't know if it's true.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
I've only tried the one pop chart.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
What flavor was that?
Speaker 3 (16:24):
It was one with frosting? Okay, is right? I don't
feel like it's say I mean, it's fine.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
It's from at Dallas seven o food because that supposed
to be a zip code seven oh two.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Maybe maybe maybe not less seven o foo seven o
two is Vegas, right, Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
They said, don't think I've ever seen a more true
stat No doubt that if the FBI hired my wife
and her sisters, they'd solve one hundred percent of crime.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Yeah that less seven o foo is referring to a
headline that I posted where it said eighty percent of
women have better investigative.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Skills than the FBI. Yeah, definitely better than man. I
even tagged you.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I thought for sure you would repost it, but evidently.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
You know what that is?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Common sense?
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Is that what it is. That's what I'm telling you.
I have better common sense in men. Yes, okay, fair enough.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Where just common sense.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
I'm Courney Lopez reminding you that I Heart and TikTok
have come together to create something new.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
I'm gonna make a quick stop in a Quartos corner
for something fresh. Mario Courtney Lopez Here, what are we
talking about today, honey?
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Something that is trending on IG and TikTok right now,
the nostalgic reset.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Oh yeah, that's that's really trending right now. All right
back with Cortos corner.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
In techna y'all.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Maril Courtney Lopez. Time to head over to Quordos Corner
for some live acts.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
What are we talking about today?
Speaker 4 (18:35):
The nostalgic reset. Yeah, so you may have seen this
on socials recently. It's a popular trend, mostly blowing up
on Instagram reels and TikTok right now, where people intentionally
use music, media or memories from their past to quickly
calm their nervous system, reduce anxiety, stress, and feel grounded again.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
So is this what's going on with the bodolphsong iris
that night trend?
Speaker 1 (19:00):
That's part of it in a way. I guess that's
that's more just like being nostalgic for that time. But
this is like finding specifically songs from a period in
your life.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
Got it?
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Okay? Okay?
Speaker 1 (19:09):
So yeah, so it's like taking that a whole I
like that, ratching it up a bit.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
All right, Here's why it works.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
Listening to personally meaningful old music triggers autobiographical memory recall.
Your brain releases a combo of dopamine, which is pleasure,
reward in, oxytocin, bonding safety at the same time, and
it feels like a weighted blanket for your nervous system.
You're not escaping the present but reconnecting with the sense
of self and continuity.
Speaker 6 (19:37):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Totally makes total sense, and I love that for us,
Like ninety three ninety four is the right in the
sweet spots.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
Good year for music.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
More Mario Lopez coming up amar dot com.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
To ketch up on all our radio fun and to
ketch up on the latest Hollywood buzz.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Mario Courtney Lopez here with a quick look at what
is trending.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
So this made me laugh because I actually thought I
