(00:27):
nostalgia bigger than ever and it's you probably know some
moments in life are just too good to let go.
Recent survey asked people to name their most picture perfect
memories and yours what top the list? Holding your child
for the first time, Yes, that is a feeling. You
can't you can't describe a family gathering with everyone together again.
That could be a lot of fun, but also a nightmare.
Unforgettable family vacation. Yup, your wedding day. Absolutely, we had

(00:50):
the best one and that magical childhood Christmas morning and
we still get to experience that living through the kids.
Getting the keys to your first home. Oh, you're blessed
enough to do that. Long summer days playing outside until dark. Yep,
perfect beach day. That's another grade when all these are great.
Passing your driving test, yes, but later on you'll hate
to drive and seen your favorite band live in concert.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
I saw a really cute thing on social media just yesterday,
and it was these grown adult cousins surprising their grandparents
to have a sleepover like they did when they were young.
All the cousins would grow a lot of them right, yes,
and they were all adults and they just had You
saw them each walking in with a pillow and the
grandparents were just looking and it was just really sweet

(01:35):
because they just was so excited. And it's like when
you're in the moment, you don't realize that how fast
you know that's going to become a memory.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
So it was super cute.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
It's awesome, Lopez, You're all Mario Courtney Lopez. Time to
put a spotlight on my wife and get Courtney's random thought.
What you got honey?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
You guys ever wondered how many animals people tried to
ride actually before they figured out that the horses were like, yeah,
that's my jam I'm cool with it.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
It's a very good question, very good was it refs?

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Was it?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Well? They tried to ride ostriches. People still do write
ostrich Maybe don't erase them. They do.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
We know they're mean.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Ostriches are mean too. We know they write camels. Right,
I'm trying to think what else you've ridden a camel?

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I have like like donkeys on when you go to
like Grand Canyon.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Right, they ride elephant that's true, they ride elephants. So
is there other right?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah, but actually as a sport.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
You mean, when it became when it became bulls, they've
ridden bulls. You can't.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
The thing about it, I mean is very brief.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Everything they just mentioned though, but running.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Is the one that we haven't learned. They don't want this, well, I.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Don't think any of them necessarily want it. But here
here's what. Out of all those animals we just mentioned,
you can't ride them for an extended period of time.
The horse you can ride for a long time.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
And to ride a horse you also have to break
the horse first. You do have train.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
You do have to break it, meaning breaking its spirit
and exadly, yeah, you can actually ride but yeah, so horses, Yeah,
there's no other animal written more than a horse?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
All right?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
At Old Mario Lopez on Instagram, at aland Mario on
Facebook and asks just a few of the many ways
to get a note to us, Mario and Courtney Lopez. Here,
we love hearing from you. A little more music and
we're gonna dig in our mentions to see what you've
sent our way.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
In the meantime, you got a song you want to hear,
just let us know and hang on. We'll back to
see what's on your mind next.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
You're all Mario Lopez, and it's time to dig in
our mentions to see what's on your mind. Feel free
to hit us up on social media at ONW with
Mario on X and Facebook or at ONW with Mario
Lopez on Instagram. Love hearing from you what you got
for us?

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Frasier at Mark Roberts, Oh what does he have to say?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
I think that girl in Florida you posted might really
be the queen of the squirrels. Seriously, though, did you
see the other story out of Florida the other week
about the guy who says he was kidnapped by dolphins
and forced to build an underwater city. Since then, like
twelve dolphins have washed ashore nearby. That's bizarre. I'm starting
to believe that guy.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yeah, God bless that guy, and God bless Florida all
these great stories. He's coming out of that wonderful state.
This Florida woman was found in a tree wearing a
squirrel costume and she was throwing eight corns at police
and she was shouting, I'm the squirrel queens.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Kind of her face kind of looks like a squirrel.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
You know, to which I said, can a girl have
hobbies and a girl just get creative once in a while?
I like her.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Well, Mario Lopez will be right.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Back on Mario Courtney Lopez music rolls on as we
congratulate all of our winners in Iheartradios. Thank you Teacher,
powered by donors Jews. Still time, by the way to
donate to a classroom project and get your donation matched
by donors Jews.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Yeah, so hit up on with Mario dot com slash
teachers and help us say thank you to the educators
shaping our future.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
So TikTok can be fun, but maybe not the best
place to go for advice. You're on with Mario Lopez.
Here's the best place to go for advice, just ask
us anyway. New studies showing that TikTok is becoming a
hotbed of misinformation about mental health. Sites like YouTube, Facebook,
and Instagram are also accused of spreading misleading or unsubstantial

(05:00):
to claims, but TikTok's being named the worst. An example
is bedrotting, a trend that involves sting in Bedford day
to cope with stress. So apparently they're saying that's healthy,
and evidently it is not.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
That actually kind of fuels the depression and stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
I would imagine that's what I would imagine. So, okay, listen.
I don't know where Chad GBT falls into this, but
I would imagine that's at least you've get a few
more reliable sources within that search engine.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Well at least it's also interactive, so you can ask
it stuff, as opposed to some social media posts that
just says, hey, do this right, you.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Can follow up with questions, yes, y al Mark Courtney Lopez.
Just into spring I means spring cleaning. I love to
spring clean. For most of us, cleaning the bedroom means
changing the sheets, picking them clothes, maybe doing a little dusting,
but a lot of the real grime is hiding in
places we tend to overlook. Experts say these are things

(05:57):
we shouldn't forget to wipe down what honey.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Oh, light switches people loaded with oils and bacteria. I'm
constantly taking wipes, the disinfectant wipes and touching the light switches, handles,
to the doors, everything, because I know you nasty guys
in here don't wash your hands, so we do. No,
you don't laundry hamper dirty even sweaty clothes sit in

(06:22):
there for days.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
No, not in our hamper. We're pretty good about it.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
We're pretty good about that.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
I don't put anything wet in there. That's discussing how.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
You can't do that, but you you do. If it's
a bag, you have to wash the bag. You need
to wash that as well. Under the bed often coated
with dust bunnies.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
You gotta get under the bed.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
You have to the sofa and stuff too.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Everywhere. You got to move stuff your mattress. Listen, changing
sheets is not enough. Vacuum your mattress to get rid
of all sorts of dust and critters.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
We don't want critters, no, no critters.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Nos. But but you have to add wash your pillows.
You guys got to wash your pillows too. You have
to wash everything.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Just wash yourself and you and the bottom of your
feet from the bottom of your face.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez, and it's time for Courtney's
random question she got for us.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Honey, So will you have your left pinky finger removed? Okay,
hear me out.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
If you could.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Receive fifteen thousand a month for the rest of your life, you.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Would have to add a zero, maybe another zero to
that for me to even.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Consider how often are you using your pinky other than
when you have tea?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
A lot more than you realize, especially when you're doing
jiu jitsu and you're making a fist as sparse. So
the things that I love to do, I would be hampered.
But I can learn to acclimate for one hundred and
fifty thousand a month. Fifteen thousand a month, no, one
hundred and fifty.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Perhaps see right now, I'm rubbing your leg with all
five fingers. Can you feel me rubbing it with just four?

Speaker 2 (07:51):
I feel a difference, a difference.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Here's a grolls on your on Mario Courtney Lopez, reminding

just revealed as Pug Caso on The Mass Singer and
just dropped a new song, so lots to talk about
with him when he joins us next. Hey, you're on
Mario Lopez joining me right now, Singer songwriter Philip Phillips.
How you been, man, man?

Speaker 4 (08:52):
How you doing? Looking good?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Looking?

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Ripped?

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Thanks brother, Thanks little toasty out here. You know beauty
of doing now radio.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
I can't even do that.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I know you look a good. Hey, congrats by the way,
you were in Mass on the latest season of The
Mass Singer A Pug Casso. That's hilarious. Did you get
to choose it or was it assigned to you.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
No, they actually assigned it to me, but I was
thankful because I saw some of the other ones that
I would have not been great in the other costumes
for sure.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
And were you a fan of the show before? How'd
you end up there?

Speaker 6 (09:21):
You know, I've never watched the show.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
I'd heard of it.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
I got asked a couple of years ago, but it
was not the right time, so they asked him in.
And I didn't really have anything going on during that
time period when they were filming, and I had to
do some research on who was on it, so and
Lil Wayne was on in t Paine. So yeah, that's
like like the top of coolness. So it's like, maybe
that'll help me be a little cooler.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Absolutely, well, Philip hank type for me quick break and
when we come back some more.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
More fun on the Way On with Mario.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Lopez A Mario Lopez got Philip Phillips on Zoom talking
about his time on the Mass Singer and you did
some cool songs too, saw Teddy Swims, Cranberry, sp Ice Girls,
even Alex and Warren. Someone was saying you were like
the best singer too in the history of the show.
Were you trying to show all some skills right there, flegs,
those muscles.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
You know, I can't. I can't deny that I was
trying to show some skills. No, I was, you know,
I just had a good time. Man had to change
up some of those songs you know too much by
Spice Girls. That was one that I was kind of
not expecting to do okay on because I was, oh, crap,
I don't know any Spice Girls songs and then hadn't
listened to him since my sisters were living with us,

(10:26):
And then I got to change that up. I really
love how it changed it up. So that was probably
one of my favorites.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Actually.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Nice. All right, well, almar dot com to see Philip
on The Mass Singer and hey ty more with him
coming up the first more music more with Philip Phillips
on the way your on Mario Lopez. In the meantime,
if you got a song you want to hear, drop
it in our mentions on Facebook or x at on
with Mario wrapping up with Philip Phillips your own Mario
Lopez been talking about your time on The Mass Singer,

(10:55):
but you also just release your brand new single Homesick
as well. What inspired that one.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
Yeah, so that song is about you know, I wrote
it while my kid was taking a nap and I've
been travel a little bit and then, uh, you know,
it's really about missing the people you love. And for me,
I have two kids now, a little boy and a girl.
Just had a baby girl, she's like nine months old now,
and missing my wife. So I get to do some
amazing things. I get to travel some amazing places, and uh,

(11:23):
I get to do what I love. But it also
comes at a cost of missing things, you know. You know,
I'll be waiting to do the show and wishing I
was changing dirty diapers, you know. So it is missing
those little things about it and missing the places that
you that that make you you, that make you your yourself.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, that's that's a tough balance, right there. Is the
is the song part of the bigger project maybe new
ep here album.

Speaker 6 (11:46):
Yeah, working on and there got some other songs, you know,
kind of keeping keeping ready and uh you know, kind
of figuring out the next schedule for those. But I
love this one and I'm hoping people love what's coming up,
you know, throughout the rest of this year.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Could we possibly see you sometime this summer? Perform.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
You never know. I'm I think we're working on something,
something going on in the fall, maybe coming in the summer,
and and I'm sure we're going to get some shows
throughout the throughout the summer, but trying to work on
something for the fall time.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
You know.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Good for you, man, Well, good luck with everything, and
listen everyone. Be sure to check out phillips brand new single, Homesick,
which is out now, and be on the lookout for
possible tour dates. Philip, thanks for checking in, brother.

Thanks very good to see you, you too, man, Take care.

Speaker 1 (12:29):

In fact, why don't we squeeze in a quick look
at what's trending on you.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Meghan Trainer is dropping an honest take on motherhood. You
can find out what she is dealing with.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
She's got a couple kids now correct Yes, And.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Selena Gome shares a new look at life as Missus
Blanco in new pick.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Wellamara dot John for all that more. Jomar Courtney Lopez
digging into the buzz because Kim Kardashian's got people divided
over her stance on homework on.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
With Mario Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
So Kim Kardashian is no stranger to dividing the Internet.
She's done it again, this time over homework. She recently
revealed during live stream that she doesn't believe in homework. Well,
I didn't necessarily believe in it, but.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
When I was a kid, I never believed in it either.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Yeah, yeah, you gotta do it. She argues that after
spending a full eight hour day at school, kids need
to have time for family, extracurricular activities and simply being kids. Well,
there's a point to which she saying, And yes, theoretically
that would be nice. However, that's not how life works.
All the time. Teachers expect you to do a little

(14:08):
work at home so you can come prepared the next day,
either be prepared for a quiz or just have the
workload a little lessoned.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I actually agree with her for once.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
I No, I agree with her in principle, like, I
think it'd be great if that would be the case,
but that's not reality.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
I have met other parents who stand by that rule
of thumb, and you know what, as a parent who
gets into fights with their kids because they don't want
to do their homework, I'd be really happy if they
didn't have homework. Then I wouldn't have to get into
a fight with them.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
You know.

Speaker 5 (14:45):
It's like I always say, No, it's like I always say,
it's about balance.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
It is about balance. Unfortunately, that's not preparing you for
real life, because when you go home from work, if
you're fortunate enough to have a job, oftentimes it doesn't
end when you get home.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Oh, for a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
It does.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
For some people, it does for other people, for others
it doesn't.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
But the point of homework is that you're reinforcing what
you learn, correct and that's what I think is missing here,
and Kim K clearly doesn't understand that part of it correct.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Well, as I always say, no shoes, no shirt, no service.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
More.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Mario Lopez on the way keeping the music and fun
coming your way. More on Courtney Lopez. Here was in
Quick Health Buzz. If you're one of those people who
dreads Monday to Friday and only looks forward to days
off on the weekend, well you might want to rethink that.
Not a shock, but mental health experts say that's not
the most fulfilling way to live. That we need to
make the most of all those days in between, suggesting

(15:40):
adding more activities you like to the weekday evenings. Even
if you feel like you're tired after work and just
want to break in the evening, experts say pushing yourself
to do something can also be energizing. Well, listen, love
what I do, so I love getting up in the
morning and with the kids. Obviously, you got stuff to
look forward to every day. But as far as me
venturing out to do stuff, I kind of try to

(16:01):
keep that in the weekend because you know, don't have
any energy. Yeah, it's gotta sleep. We got to sleep,
and if we do do something during the week, a
nap is mandatory. Al Mario Lopez. Almost, time for me
to head out. Just one last thing to get too hang.
Time for that as we keep the music coming your way.
Got a song you want to hear, Please hit me
up on Facebook add on with Mario. All right, Almost

(16:25):
time to wrap it up for the night, but not
before we squeeze. And one last thing, Mario Courtney Lopez. Here,
there's a new drink trend on TikTok, but it's getting
some pretty nasty reviews. Coffee mixed with yogurt. Hew, Yeah,
it was right, blending coldbrew Greek yogurt. Hold on a second, Actually,
I don't know if I'm opposed to this. You got colbrew,
Greek yogurt, coconut water, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

(16:47):
Now that I think about it, I'm not gonna knock it.
Fans square, It's a sneaky way to get caffeine, protein,
and electrolytes in one glass. It's good pre workout drink.
But a lot of people are horrified by the idea,
calling it chunky sour and that we've gone too far online.
One person said it tastes like sweaty Jim socks dipped
an iced coffee wrung out in a cup. Okay, that's
very very specific. You know, I've seen worse suggestions on TikTok.

(17:13):
That doesn't sound too bad to me, to be honest.

Speaker 6 (17:15):
With you, true.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
I guess one thing that just amazes me is how
they even come up with these?

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Yeah, I know, and who comes up with these?

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
All right, that's it. Thanks. He was always ranging out
with us, Hit Up, Ball, Ride, Dot, Condrey Live, any
and all of our radio fun. Back to do it
again tomorrow till then, Mario Lopez saying good night

Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
